Wow this house is absolutely amazing. It looks good and it is! Its even better than the pictures show. The house was absolutely immaculate, all of the furnishings were of the very highest quality. Extra bedding, towels etc. Air conditioning in every room. The location is brilliant, really quiet, but so close to the centre of Narbonne. Every thing is just a stroll away. The pool and outside space is absolutely lovely, really restful and again immaculately clean. We would certainly love to be able to come back and stay here again.
Un véritable havre de paix ! Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable dans cette magnifique maison de campagne. La piscine est parfaite pour se rafraîchir et profiter du soleil, tandis que la grande terrasse offre une vue imprenable sur le village. La maison est spacieuse, bien équipée, et l'ambiance y est apaisante, idéale pour se ressourcer loin de l'agitation. Un lieu que je recommande vivement pour une escapade tranquille et reposante.

Nous avons passé des vacances très reposantes en famille (et avec notre chien) dans la villa. Philippe est un hôte fabuleux, rien n'est trop pour lui. Les petites attentions telles que les livraisons de petit-déjeuner et le repas au restaurant étaient merveilleuses. Le temps n'a pas déçu. (38°C), donc la piscine était bien nécessaire. Béziers et Sète valent bien une visite pour les vues et les repas. Dans l'ensemble, c'est exactement ce dont nous avions besoin.
Malina et son mari ont toujours été disponibles et réactifs. Bon accueil. La maison est conforme à la description, grande, bien équipée et agréable. Je recommande ces hôtes et le logement pour un prochain séjour. Merci
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à la Maison Charvin, ayant apprécié la tranquillité dans la magnifique cour-jardin et les excursions à Carcassonne et Lagrasse. La maison est merveilleuse et très bien équipée. Nous n'avons manqué de rien. Mille mercis.
Beautiful, very well kept and maintained. Amazing for kids Stunning pool and poolside, children's toy room was perfect for boys and girls, a great range of toys. All extra bedding, baby products etc; great. Fab daily service, friendly. Great local advice. Very easy, relaxing process. You both have a lovely manner with all guests which made the stay very enjoyable.
Merci beaucoup d'avoir rendu notre visite dans le Lot si spéciale. Votre généreuse hospitalité était incroyable. Rien n'était trop demander, chaque demande d'information suivie assidûment, toujours discrètement et sans jamais s'immiscer dans notre vie privée. En cours de séjour, nous réalisons que nous nous sommes fait un nouvel ami. La propriété elle-même est magnifique et impeccablement entretenue. Équipée de tout ce dont nous pouvions avoir besoin, nous ne manquions de rien. Nichés au milieu des vignes, nous avons eu la chance d'être là à temps pour regarder et participer aux vendanges. Vous avez même organisé pour nous une dégustation des vins issus des vignobles de la région. Il était impossible de ne pas en emporter chez nous. Beaucoup à explorer, des restaurants incroyables, nous sommes tombés amoureux du Lot. Nous pouvons pleinement apprécier comment ce havre a volé votre cœur. Ayant passé de nombreuses années en vacances en France, c'était sans aucun doute le point culminant de tous nos voyages. Merci beaucoup d'avoir rendu nos vacances si spéciales.
Quel plaisir nous avons eu de passer une semaine avec du soleil tout plein, dans votre magnifique villa ! Quatre adultes, huit enfants... et chacun y a trouvé son bonheur. Belle maison, superbe jardin, piscine extra !!! Nous en avons profité un maximum. Merci pour votre gentillesse et votre disponibilité. Vous êtes vraiment très serviable et sympathique. C'est une propriété moderne, très confortable, offrant des prestations généreuses et de qualité. Nous recommanderions cette maison avec plaisir.
La maison est fabuleuse, bien entretenue, avec beaucoup de caractère et de charme, mais également bien équipée pour une vie moderne. Belle piscine, beaux jardins et une hôte exceptionnelle. Nous avons eu beaucoup de soleil et avons pu vraiment profiter de la magnifique campagne et des villages pittoresques voisins. De très bonnes vacances, merci.
Our family gathering of 6 adults and a toddler was thoroughly enjoyed at this lovely villa. It is very large and spacious with huge bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms. It was very generously kitted out, especially the kitchen which had more than enough for our large party. The grounds were very child friendly with safely gates and mainly level surfaces. It was ideally suited to access the lovely town of Pézenas which has an abundance of individual shops and places to eat. We would highly recommend it for a large group and wouldn't hesitate to return
De retour chez nous je voulais tout simplement vous remercier vivement pour l’accueil exceptionnel que vous nous avez réservé lors de notre long weekend à Maureilhan. Comme on vous l’a dit ce matin, on s’est régalé à la Maison des Communes – et on a beaucoup apprécié votre générosité hors normes. Avec repas au restaurant, plateau de fromages, vin et viennoiseries, cela frôlait l’incroyable. Certainement, nous n’avons jamais avant profité d’une telle largesse lors d’une location en France, en GB ou ailleurs. Et comme vous le savez bien, votre maison est tout aussi remarquable, avec un brassage de styles et d’ambiances qui la rend aussi intéressante que luxueuse et accueillante. On n’avait vraiment pas envie de partir ce matin ... Donc, un grand merci une fois de plus et, je l’espère, à bientôt.

We have had a very enjoyable time here for the past two weeks really busy doing nothing! Very hot and very grateful for the wonderful pool. House had everything we could need. Your book of useful info was terrific help
In 25 years of renting houses for our summer holidays, Château Mabrouke truly topped the lot! Ed and Katie have kept it as a family home which gives the house a lovely ambiance and makes it so welcoming and interesting. We loved the artworks, both in the house and the garden. The guide to the house, helpfully shared in advance, was comprehensive. It meant we weren't struggling to work anything out for ourselves and the information on the local area was really helpful. The local team gave us a lovely welcome too and looked after us flawlessly throughout our stay. The rooms all have great character and were very comfortable indeed. The hilltop setting gives outstanding vistas all round and the terraces surrounding the house and pool offered the best of the sun at all points of the day, particularly sunsets at dinner. The kitchen is amazingly well equipped and the cooker is fabulous. Martin and Philippa, who Katie recommended, cooked a wonderful meal for us and were thoroughly engaging company. There is so much to do, in and around the house and in the local area, that it was hard to do it all justice in a mere two weeks. A day's white water rafting and kayaking with Eau Vive at Foix was a big highlight.
On our first house hunting trip we could not have me more friendly and welcoming people than you. La Jolie Vue does not only offer a magnificent view on the rolling hills, it was restored with much care and love !we thank you for your outstanding hospitality dare we say friendship. Herman will pick up the guitar again and hopefully we will find time to make music together soon.

We had great week staying at this lovely house! It is in quiet, rural location and we enjoyed exploring the area, which is very pretty. Sam was a great host and showed us everything and then left us to it – but was very helpful responsive with any questions we had. There were 7 of us and the house accommodated us all very easily. It is very well equipped and everything is in good condition and works well - lots of plates, glasses, large fridge freezer with ice maker, wine and beer fridges etc! The beds were comfortable and the house has two good bathrooms/shower rooms including a spa bath! There is a great choice of terraces and outside areas (covered and open) for sitting and dining, with lots of chairs, tables and sun loungers – which far exceeded expectations. The pool, surrounding terrace and gardens are really lovely and it is very quiet and private. The table tennis table was a bonus and we had a fun afternoon kayaking on the Dordogne, too! We would have loved a few more days there!

Where can we begin to tell you how wonderful your warmth and kindness have made our holiday so special at your beautiful Le Chambarru. Your renovations and thoughtful kitchen cooking utensils have such taste and quality that we all enjoyed cooking. The location has proven geographical delight. Villa everything and more! fantastic villa, pool and table tennis great fun! Pézenas lovely 15 - 20 minutes easy walk! Lots of great restaurants. Beach between Sète and Agde very good and not too many people.

Je suis venu préparé cette année avec mes « cours de piano de base pour adultes » et j'ai adoré avoir l'occasion d'essayer et de jouer à nouveau. Pas sûr que ce soit aussi agréable pour ceux qui écoutaient ! Merci à Frédéric et Natasha pour tout ce qu'ils font pour que nos 2 semaines se passent au mieux.
We were able to have a great week with friends at this house, which matched the photos perfectly. The host is very accommodating and accommodating. Amenities are complete, different living spaces are spacious, the pool area is a real plus. I'd recommend it!

Awesome! Kids LOVED it. Beautiful grounds and so much space, also spotless clean. Very well equipped, even had sharp knives! Superb setting. Great BBQ. Help and good advice always available. Indian food was great! Lovely way to start the holiday after hours of driving! We have stayed at many holiday homes and this is right up there as one of, if not the best we have stayed at!
