Un grand merci pour le temps que vous nous avez consacré en nous accompagnant à la cave Les Jamelles et pour le bon vin offert aussi. Nous avons tous apprécié la belle décoration à l'intérieur du château - papiers peints uniques, draps luxueux, etc. Être entouré de vignes et de jardins avec une belle piscine enrichit l'ambiance.
I had a great stay at Le Mas de Combet with a group of 9 adults and 2 infants as we were attending a wedding nearby at Chateau de St Paul (c. 10 - 15 minutes drive) The house was clean, well equipped and very peaceful and private. The villa is remote so a car is definitely required but it's a beautiful setting with wonderful views of the countryside and the pool was well used during our stay! We had a couple of days of rain but the house is so comfortable and has plenty of space for indoor and outdoor entertaining. One small note was that there is no soap, shower gel or shampoo provided as described on the listing but that was a very minor inconvenience which was easily resolved. Dermod, our contact was extremely helpful and responsive and even personally arranged a lift for one of our party back from the wedding venue (thanks to Patricia!). Thanks for a great stay - we would definitely recommend!

Mas de Lozanne is fabulous. Great garden, wonderful pool and lovely walking and cycling through the vineyards. We would love to come here again.
This is my second visit to the beautiful ‘Rusty Shears gite’ hosted by Kirstie and Russell. From the outset our stay was just perfect. We were made very welcome and even had welcome drinks upon arrival. This was a special visit for my mums birthday and Kirstie even baked a cake, which was absolutely delicious. The gite is immaculately presented and the interior is simply gorgeous, with sumptuous cushions, uniquely bespoke painted furniture and house plants that compliment the gite’s luxurious eclectic style. The outside space is perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine and listening to the nature that surrounds the outside space. They have thought of everything; an outside eating area, complete with overhead sails to stay in the shade, corner sofa area complete with parasol to stay in or out of the shade, a bbq area with small outside prep area, hot tub and even 4 sun loungers. The location is set in the countryside so expect to drive or cycle to the local vineyards and restaurants but rest assured Kirstie and Russell can recommend plenty of places of interest and even arrange cycle hire or restaurant bookings if preferred. All in all a really tranquil long weekend away that offered us plenty of tasty local food, vineyard visits, rest and relaxation in the sunshine. If you’re an animal lover then you’ll also appreciate Kirstie’s love of animals too and if you’re lucky you’ll get to taste a freshly laid egg from ’Cluckingham palace!’ A truly wonderful space and warm welcome that will encourage you to return. A gem of a holiday find - we will definitely be going back soon! Thank you Kirstie and Russell for your hospitality during our stay at Rusty Shears gite and for making great memories!
The house is pleasant and the host is welcoming. There is space for a large group. It is easy to park in front of the house and there is also an option to park in the garden. Well located, you can buy bread on the houseboat across the bridge and the bookstore is a must!
Une belle découverte. Idéalement placée à deux pas de la Dordogne et de Sarlat, Ferme de la Riviere offre de belles prestations dans un environnement préservé et calme. Son aménagement intérieur combine parfaitement le charme de l'ancien avec le confort moderne. La décoration composée en partie de meubles et tableaux de famille rajoute un supplément d'âme à cette charmante ferme où nous avons passé une semaine très agréable. Les propriétaires, très accueillants, sont une mine d'informations sur la région. Un seul regret, ne pas avoir eu le temps de visiter leurs autres locations situées à deux pas de la Borie.
Please accept our thanks and appreciation for this wonderful home in Homps. It was perfect in everyway. Location, space inside the home, outside space and pool. The kitchen had everything including spices and cleaning supplies. Pool towels were supplied and appliances all worked well. Five stars according to the family. They would love to return!!
The house was spacious and very comfortable. The attention to detail made it feel like a five-star experience and well had a most fantastic and restful nights sleep.
Enjoyed a lovely short break but just as the weather broke down. However, the cottage is a gem that the owners have restored to a very high standard. Pool and sauna are excellent and the views are gorgeous. Close enough to some quaint villages with all amenities in easy reach. The cottage and surrounding area is very peaceful and just what we were looking for. The owner was super responsive to our few queries.
Had a fabulous week at Château Velouse. If you're looking for some time out in splendid surroundings, then I can highly recommend Château Velouse. The château is stunning and there is everything there that you will need. We chose to provide our own cooking during our visit but, I know that Philip and Claire can provide a chef should you require. A great place for a family get together. Highly recommended.
Nous pouvons honnêtement dire que la Villa Baleyssagues est la meilleure propriété dans laquelle nous ayons séjourné en France. Les photographies sur le site ne rendent pas vraiment justice à la maison. Elle est située dans une magnifique position surélevée, avec des vues spectaculaires sur la campagne environnante. La maison offre un équipement haut de gamme avec de la vaisselle et des couverts en abondance. Il y avait tellement de petites attentions, avec des compositions florales fraîches dans plusieurs chambres et le meilleur pack de bienvenue que nous ayons jamais eu au cours de nos sept années de visite en France. Merci Frédéric de nous avoir accueilli à la Villa et de s'être occupé de nous pendant notre séjour. Pouvez-vous transmettre nos remerciements aux propriétaires de nous avoir permis de séjourner dans leur charmante maison ?
What can I say, we’ve had the loveliest fortnight at Maison Charvin. Just the loveliest house, perfectly equipped, a cook’s heaven. Downside? Almost none. Biting insects were a bit of an issue, but we found Picosa insect repellent from the Intermarché in Capendu worked really well. (Get the one with “tiger mosquito” on the label). Vins de Dagne was great for dinner. Service a bit slow on our first visit but a fabulous last-night meal on our final night. Local supermarket in the village was closed during our stay, but the Intermarché in Capendu is only 10-15 minutes and there’s a nice baker in Lagrasse. (Could also order from Vins de Dagne, but we never really got our act together). We’d love to return, à bientôt!
Nous venons de passer un séjour des plus relaxants dans un gîte 5 étoiles de premier ordre. À notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis par les propriétaires Mark et Gary, charmants et attentionnés, qui nous ont offert un panier de bienvenue et un réfrigérateur à boissons, une attention toute particulière. Le gîte est joliment décoré et mérite amplement ses 5 étoiles. La piscine et la terrasse sont équipées de tout le nécessaire, avec un coin salon et repas, ainsi qu'une cuisine d'été avec barbecue et plancha. C'est un endroit paisible et tranquille où séjourner et nous reviendrons sans hésiter.
Nous ne saurions trop recommander le Mas Saint-Martial. Nous avons passé quelques semaines relaxantes et très agréables en profitant au maximum du calme isolé de cette charmante maison, d'une excellente piscine, d'un vaste terrain et de magnifiques environs. Pour une famille de 4 personnes avec deux pré-adolescentes, c'était idéal avec suffisamment d'espace pour que nous puissions tous en profiter et une piscine chaude. Il y avait une salle de jeux bien équipée et nous avons adoré le terrain de badminton tout temps. De bonnes commodités locales avec une excellente boulangerie.
Qu'est-ce qu'il n'y a pas à aimer dans cet endroit ? Que de bons souvenirs d'un week-end incroyable.
We stayed at this beautiful place with 10 adults and one child. The house is large and magnificent with every comfort thought of. Beautifully decorated and everything of quality. The heated swimming pool was amazing. Jim was charming and helped us organise the stay and the housekeeper gave us a very warm welcome. We will definitely be coming back for future family reunions.
In the 30 or so years we have been coming to France for our holidays I don't think we have stayed in a more lovely house. A very tranquil spot, with everything we could possibly need. We have enjoyed our stay immensely, whether lying by the pool or venturing out further to the beaches or the Verden Gorges, all wonderful. Thank you for sharing your well loved home, the view from the swing seat is to die for!

Prior to arriving, dealing with Pete was easy and this continued with both him and Kate throughout our stay. We’d been in Avignon for week before where it was very hot, this continued in Curzon but the house was lovely and cool throughout. We all had no trouble sleeping which meant we weren’t able to take advantage of the pool for the first morning as we all slept in. When we did get out there, it was wonderful. As a family of 4 we were able to relax and have fun round the pool all day every day if we wanted, including cooking lunch and dinner on the gas BBQ in the outside kitchen which we made full use of. Facilities in the house were great and we relaxed quickly, taking advantage of the welcome package of goodies. We explored the surrounding villages and towns which were in easy reach and a 10 minute drive for bread each morning or a full shop meant we could simply pop out and get something for dinner/breakfast. They really looked after us and each morning we woke to a clean pool and surroundings, including towels waiting for us. We felt truly spoilt during our stay and could have easily booked 3 weeks or more and I imagine Pete and Kate will be managing full summers for a while to come. Thank you Pete and Kate for a memorable stay!
Thank you both for a fabulous week. The Loft du Vigneron is superb and so well fitted out. We have never stayed in such a stylish and immaculate property. You were so welcoming and helpful with all your tips and recommendations and we very much enjoyed your company too. We look forward to seeing the 'big house' when it's finished - maybe next time we'll have a suite! All the very best and thank you for a most relaxing holiday.
We had all been looking forward to this holiday and nothing disappointed - we have all had a wonderful time and at least we christened the pool! The time has passed so quickly - thank you for your wonderful hospitality, as always. We are looking forward to seeing you again this October.

Just to say how much we enjoyed staying at Le Grand Verger for the last two weeks. What an amazing house in such a beautiful setting, we all found it so relaxing and inspirational, with lots of music, games and reading. A truly memorable family get together with lots of photographs to remind us. We loved La Romieu (thank you for the recommendation) where the gardens were superb and the Collégiale Saint-Pierre certainly an experience with the spiral staircases! Loved the herbs in the garden too which we used daily and several trips were made to the ice cream shop in the village, the green tomato and basil was a new find and delicious. We were lucky with the weather, providing lots of opportunity for swimming and generally relaxing. Thank you again, we'd loved to return in the future.
We spent 10 days with 8 people (children, grandchildren ) and our dog in À Côté de L'O. The summer heat was well tolerated thanks to the pool and air conditioning. The space is even more generous than it appears on the photos. A huge fenced garden right on the Canal. Narbonne, Gruissan, Bages... many beautiful experiences are easy to reach by car. The location in beautiful Le Somail. The early morning round for dog bathing at the Cesse. Shopping fresh croissants and baguettes on the Épicerie - boat. All in all : perfect!
We have just returned from Maison de la Mairie. The house is a lovely, spacious and bright family house in a pretty village by the Canal du Midi. The house is well equipped with good quality bedding and towels etc. There is an excellent library so no need to bring reading materials. Outside there is lots of space for sunny or shady meals by the pool. Paraza is well served by a very good village shop and an excellent restaurant situated beside the canal. There is a lot of useful information in the house including walks, drives, restaurants and lo al history. Stephen, our host, was most welcoming and did all he could to ensure that we enjoyed our holiday. Even when he had to return to the UK he arranged for someone to be available should we need help. We have enjoyed a lovely holiday and woulf like to thank Stephen and Susan for sharing their home with us.
Nous venons de séjourner dans cette superbe maison. Elle a tout pour plaire. Calme et vue magnifique depuis une ancienne grange magnifiquement restaurée. Tout le confort nécessaire pour un séjour inoubliable : climatisation, piscine flambant neuve, cuisine entièrement équipée, le tout agrémenté par la rencontre avec Florence, la propriétaire qui habite à côté. Les supermarchés sont à seulement 10 minutes en voiture, ce qui en fait un endroit idéal. Merci Florence, passez un bel été et soyez rassurée : vous aurez encore beaucoup de visiteurs satisfaits.
Une demeure fantastique à la frontière de la Dordogne et du Bordelais. La maison et le jardin étaient magnifiques. C'est une "demeure" plutôt qu'une location et nous avons adoré ça. Il y a tout ce dont vous avez besoin et une agréable sensation de chaleur. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour de 4 semaines ici. Les gérants de la maison étaient fantastiques et nous étions très tristes de nous dire au revoir. Ils nous ont donné plein de bons conseils sur les endroits à découvrir. Le lac Jemaye, la fête gastronomique du Pizou, les marchés locaux, le canoë près de Montpon, le magasin de la ferme locale qui vendait du lait directement de la laiterie, etc. Ce qui nous a marqué a été la dégustation de vins autour de Pomerol et de Saint-Émilion - nous avons fini par faire trois journées de dégustation de vins ! St Emillion est vraiment l'un des plus beaux villages que vous puissiez espérer visiter. C'est le point zéro du vin et il est chargé d'histoire. Le château nous manque terriblement. J'espère qu'un jour nous reviendrons.
