Idéalement placée à deux pas de la Dordogne et de Sarlat, Le Borghesia offre de belles prestations dans un environnement préservé et calme. Son aménagement intérieur combine parfaitement le charme de l'ancien avec le confort moderne. La décoration composée en partie de meubles et tableaux de famille rajoute un supplément d'âme à cette charmante ferme où nous avons passé une semaine très agréable. Les propriétaires, très accueillants, sont une mine d'informations sur la région. Un seul regret, ne pas avoir eu le temps de visiter leurs autres locations situées à deux pas du Borghesia.
Wonderful time with the big family. The beautiful Château Velouse offers plenty of space for a large family or friends, with a great kitchen, a large dining room and a cozy living room. Almost each of the eight traditionally decorated bedrooms are having their own modern bathroom. The huge park is great for own dogs, which you can easy bring with you.
Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour à la Maison Charvin pendant 2 semaines en août 2022. La maison elle-même est charmante. Les photos sur le site ne lui rendent peut-être pas justice. Nous sommes une famille de 6 (dont quatre adolescents) mais il y avait suffisamment d'hébergement pour tous. Surtout, pour les ados, rien à redire sur le Wi-Fi ! Le village dans lequel se trouve la maison est pour le moins pittoresque. Il y a un restaurant fantastique à distance de marche, Vins de Dagne où la nourriture et le vin étaient vraiment exceptionnels (mais il faut réserver à l'avance). Il y a aussi un petit magasin, mais ce n'était pas vraiment suffisant pour autre chose que les articles de base (et un peu trop cher). Même si nous étions un peu inquiets du manque de parking sur place, ce n'était vraiment pas un problème du tout, avec un grand parking en bordure de route juste au bout de la rue. Le fait que les espaces extérieurs soient tous entourés de hauts murs nous a inquiétés au début, à cause de l'ombre d'un côté ou de l'autre à chaque extrémité de la journée. Cependant, le temps était extrêmement chaud et l'ombre fournie par le jardin de la cour était donc une aubaine absolue. Cela dit, la même ombre signifiait que la piscine n'atteignait jamais une température vraiment confortable pour les adolescents de ce millénaire et était un peu froide. Bien que, pour la plupart des journées les plus chaudes, à mon avis, c'était un soulagement bienvenu ! Ce sont les espaces extérieurs qui créent vraiment l'atmosphère de cette maison. Elle est complètement privé, sans aucun vis à vis, magnifiquement éclairée la nuit et bien équipée avec un barbecue, une table et des chaises (pour six) et une multitude de transats et de serviettes. L'emplacement de la maison était bon. La ville de Montlaur est juste : 20 minutes en voiture du Leclerc le plus proche juste à l'extérieur de Carcassonne. À 30 minutes du lac de Caracassone avec son parc aquatique gonflable et le site d'accrobranche et de tyrolienne "go ape". 90 minutes de la plage de Narbonne. Un peu plus de 90 minutes de l'aéroport de Toulouse et du rafting à Belvianes-et Cavirac (ce qui était fantastique !) Sharon était extrêmement serviable en cas de besoin, toujours joignable par téléphone, sinon nous avons toujours été tranquilles. Dans l'ensemble, c'était de super vacances et une maison que je recommanderais vraiment.
Can't believe the stay is almost at an end. We have had a lovely time and the weather promised poorly but delivered very well, which enabled daily swimming in the brilliant pool. We all enjoyed the games of TT (table tennis) and boules competitions. So many interesting things to do in the surrounding area; we only managed Bergerac twice. Once for a wine tasting in the wonderful Maison du Vin and once for a very enjoyable boat trip. Golfing Black Kheri and the walk around the lake Les Graoussettes. The cave at Les Eyzies was very informative and curious to note the difference in scenery; handles not to be missed! Apart from the BBQ provided, we happened on Thursday Market at Monpazier; simply great and such a pretty place. We also enjoyed the marché gourmand at Villeréal (every Monday from 6.30pm. Bring tablecloth, cutlery and drinking vessels). Their counterparts in Issigeac on Thursdays during summer. Restaurant L’Atelier in Issigeac was a wonderful treat on our penultimate day and we would suggest booking a place at their mini, shared table and great food and plenty of wine.
Very hot to start with 40 degrees! Fabulous really, and we had a wonderful time. Weather was good. Friends coming next year already!
We had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful home. The kitchen and living area was so spacious and comfortable and the outside space was equally ideal. The pool was delightful and spacious allowing the six of us to enjoy it at the same time. The kitchen had everything we could ask for - literally home from home. The only regret about this holiday was having only one week there as it wasn’t long enough! We most definitely would return.
Perfect stay. A very high quality renovation where stone blends with wood and contemporary furniture. A huge and ideal porch for dinner, barbecue and admire the countryside and hillsides on one side and a pool enchanted in this "Provencal farmhouse" on the other. Very high quality amenities and bedding. The sober and neat decoration with touches of contemporary art ensures a soothing balance and conducive to rest. A spacious cathedral living room with a stunning solid wood table. Here and there, small details in the amenities and decor (a special mention in the toilet of the master suite, I'll let you discover it). In addition, Christophe is very friendly and very attentive to his hosts. In short, this stay in the countryside between two seas delighted us all.
A wonderful stay at Mas du Château!! The home has everything you need and even more!! From the decor to the amenities to the exteriors, everything was at its best! Christophe was very attentive and ultra available!! The ideal PLACE to have a great time with friends and family!!
I just wanted to say how much we loved the house! Absolutely perfect in every way and gorgeously comfortable beds. We even staged our own murder mystery in the house.
Many thanks for a wonderful stay. You have made the place very comfortable and welcoming and so safe for children. So many interesting things to discover in the region to. In one word it has been the 'perfect' holiday for the whole family (10 of us!). We do hope to return, 'donc je vous dis à bientôt et mille mercis'.
Quel bel endroit! Superbe maison et équipements. Tout et tout le monde ont répondu à nos attentes. Cela a déjà été dit mais nous sommes totalement d'accord avec tous les commentaires précédents. Nous avons tous passé du bon temps. Nous reviendrons.
Where do we start..? You have created something truly magnificent with The Loft, which not only met our expectations, but exceeded them beyond belief. We are endlessly grateful to you for giving us this much-needed week in paradise. You certainly have thought of everything, making our stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. Your hospitality was second to none, matched only by your exquisite style and attention to detail, clearly visible throughout every inch of The Loft. We cannot wait to return.
Villa Bellara est une belle propriété et l'endroit idéal où séjourner. Nous la recommandons vraiment ! Nous avons été accueillis par le très agréable propriétaire, Jean-Luc, un hôte merveilleux qui nous a fourni de nombreuses informations sur la villa elle-même et ses environs. La villa est une propriété privée fermée située dans un quartier résidentiel calme. L'emplacement est en montée, par rapport au front de mer et il y a plusieurs bons supermarchés proposant des produits frais à proximité. La gare locale se trouve à quelques pas, ce qui est idéal pour explorer les sites touristiques voisins de Nice, Antibes et Monaco. La villa est très confortable et spacieuse, avec de nombreux espaces distincts tant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur pour que la famille puisse se détendre ensemble ou en petits groupes. Elle est bien entretenue, propre et bien meublée. Elle dispose d'une grande cuisine moderne et bien équipée. Distributeur de glace, climatisation dans toutes les chambres également. Le Wi-Fi pour les adolescents était parfait et les chaînes TV britanniques étaient une bonne surprise.
You don't need us to tell you what a beautiful house this is and the bath with a view indeed. We didn't eat out much as the super markets were so convenient and the kitchen well equipped. We arrived in a heat wave, not complaining though! It was amazing and the wonderful pool helped us cool off. The children took their push bikes over the back of the vineyards to the cycle path and biked into Nyons, we also walked it which was most pleasant. As regards places of interest, we took ideas from the house book as it was too hot to visit the tourist information centre during opening hours and most of our exploring was done in the evenings.
This is our 3rd visit and yet again we have had a lovely time. Weather a little more energetic than previously but still lovely and warm. So relaxing, peaceful and calm, with the advantage of Poitiers to explore and the fantastic bakeries nearby. Thank you so much again.

We had a fabulous week! We really made the most of the pool and outdoor kitchen and there was nothing we needed which wasn’t there. It was hot - so mostly we went out early and got back to get in the pool/shade. It’s a great location for exploring the local area and we loved Monaco, Nice, Lorgues and St Maxime. Thank you for hosting us and thanks to G for her help too.
Nous avons passé de belles vacances, cette belle maison a été un délice absolu si confortable et paisible. Déjeuner à l'extérieur dans votre magnifique jardin a été notre rituel favori.
Nous avons passé un moment des plus merveilleux à la Maison de Saint-Jean. La maison était charmante, il y avait tout ce dont nous avions besoin et Rosetta [la gouvernante] était très serviable et accueillante. Tu as tellement de chance de l'avoir !
We stayed in this amazing house for a couple of weeks - 4 couples, with kids left home! The place is really hard to describe because it is so much more than we expected. Also the photos don't quite do it justice (especially the outdoors pics). It is a huge house, with several levels. All the bedrooms bar one are on one upper floor. The other bedroom (that we stayed in) is accessible on the side of the building and has a lovely little terrace with a small table and chairs. Perfect for taking in the sun or simply relaxing. I did do a bit of work there. On the lower level is the huge kitchen, big dining area with a really cool table that makes entertaining fun and loads of interesting living areas each individual and stylishly decorated. All in all it is a big place where it is easy to spend time with friends and be sociable, or retreat to one of the cosy, quirky but fantastic living spaces for me-time. We weren't quite sure what we would do there for 2 weeks as it seemed a little remote, but it is SO relaxing and welcoming we spent the first week just staying put and enjoying it. The swimming pool is great and I did my lengths every morning. The area just beyond the pool is great in the evening for a drink (or many more). The bedrooms are really special. Big and very well appointed. Comfortable beds and interesting bathrooms (ours had a built-in bath). The owner Fred is super friendly and accommodating. We were welcomed by him and his partner and to our surprise the fridge was filled with local produce and there was also some wine and fresh bread left for us! Great surprise and even better after the long drive down! For shopping we went to the closest town and there were 2 large supermarkets there as well as the usual bakeries/butchers etc. The area is very beautiful. The mountains are stunning and we found some really lovely villages to explore. We had a great dinner one night in Sauve. Really cute village well worth exploring. We ate on a square high up overlooking the river below. I could go on and on. The place has so much charm and is so well appointed, we could have stayed for longer. We have amazing memories and special thanks to Fred for having created this small piece of paradise.
Superbe distillerie de luxe reconvertie en maison de campagne à Challignac. Mobilier et équipements haut de gamme. Magnifique décoration intérieure, entièrement climatisée et dotée d'une superbe piscine extérieure chauffée avec terrasse spacieuse, chaises longues et canapés, d'un coin repas extérieur avec barbecue, d'un terrain de pétanque et d'une aire de jeux pour enfants, le tout entouré de magnifiques jardins et d'une campagne paisible et époustouflante. C'était un vrai plaisir de s'asseoir avec un café le matin, en regardant les chevreuils se promener dans le champ devant la maison. Les lits étaient les plus confortables que nous ayons jamais eus, les douches étaient fantastiques, tout était impeccable. Gary et Mark ont rendu notre semaine encore plus spéciale grâce à leurs fabuleuses recommandations de lieux à visiter et d'excellents restaurants à proximité. Ils ont répondu immédiatement à toutes nos demandes, tout en respectant notre vie privée, sauf si nous les contactions. Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit et nous réservons déjà pour l'année prochaine.
Looking for a relaxing holiday in a stunning environment? Château Entre-Deux-Mers offers it all. The panoramic view on the vineyards, the nicely decorated rooms, the orangerie full of daylight, the library to read at ease, the dining room with huge fireplace, the kitchen where the local cook prepared breakfast and dinner (hmmmm..), the different lovely corners in the flowered garden... Really, I can recommend this castle for a stay with family and friends. I can guarantee: you will come back as reborn. And for those who look for some activities: we used the bikes to explore the surroundings, we made nice joggings and visited Bordeaux with a guide. We will certainly go back :-)
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour ici. Nous avons vraiment apprécié la piscine quand il faisait chaud, le barbecue la plupart des soirs et l'exploration de la ville. Nous avons également adoré découvrir les villes voisines. Le kayak a été un moment fort. Merci pour ce merveilleux séjour.
Fantastic nice accommodation, beautiful details, well preserved beautiful floors. Perfect patio with a small pool. All happy adults- as children. Highly recommended.
We had a beautiful fou-poster suite with claw footed bath in this attractive country château. We enjoyed a lazy week in glorious sunshine in August dipping in and out of the outdoor heated swimming pool. The château has extensive grounds in which to walk off dinner and is surrounded by peaceful countryside. Bourges was a great place to visit, both cathedral, palace and gardens were a must-see. We were with a large party of friends who took it in turns to cook and we ate outside on the terrace watching the sun go down.
Cette année encore, je souhaite vivement renouveler notre séjour. Cet endroit incarne l’essence même d’une demeure accueillante pour les amis, à mille lieues des locations impersonnelles et dénuées de chaleur. Chez toi, on ressent immédiatement une atmosphère chaleureuse, empreinte de ton goût exquis et d’une âme véritable. Chaque année, tu nous réserves des surprises merveilleuses : une nouvelle chambre aménagée avec un soin et une originalité sans pareils, un jardin qui se transforme, un potager qui nous offre des légumes de saison d’une qualité exceptionnelle. Et que dire des aventures mémorables que nous avons vécues, ainsi que de la vue imprenable sur la Provence et le majestueux Pont du Gard lors de nos petits déjeuners. Grâce à toi, ce lieu se transforme en une véritable maison de famille. Nous commençons déjà à compter les jours qui nous séparent de notre prochain séjour. À très bientôt.
Our 4-day stay with family (8 adults and 5 children aged 11 to 1.5 years) went very well in this beautiful house. The spaces are well appointed and decorated with great taste. In addition, its location in the city center is very practical while having a very peaceful environment in the garden and around the swimming pool. To recommend.
