What a fabulous three weeks we have had staying with you at the Loft again. Thank you again for all your hard work preparing the Loft for our arrival and, of course, for your oh so warm hospitality! So many new memories for us to take home and we are coming to terms with the Boules Trophy making its way to Guernsey this year! Thank you so much for accommodating all the comings and goings of our family and friends again this year. As ever, we have loved spending time with with you and it's great to reflect that visit number four is already booked for 2020. We know we'll be in touch in the meantime.
We loved the site; very peaceful and relaxing, despite the suburban setting. Everything you need is here! Pézenas is a beautiful place and we also liked Meze, Tourbes and especially enjoyed kayaking down the Hérault river.
Thank you so much for a wonderful week and creating such a beautiful home. We've held my husbands 60th birthday here with 10 friends from the UK and Australia - an absolute joy!
Je suis tombée sous le charme de cette belle demeure atypique. Sa proximité avec le château de Duras lui apporte une touche féerique... Il y a tout le confort nécessaire pour les visiteurs et la literie est de qualité. D'un côté de la demeure, vue imprenable sur la belle piscine et sur la vallée et de l'autre côté, vue magique sur les fortifications du château. Je n'en dévoilerai pas d'avantage et laisse le plaisir , aux prochains visiteurs ,de découvrir les autres petits trésors que cache cette maison. Le village de Duras est typique des petites villes de province avec son beau marché local et coloré . Les soirs, très bonne ambiance festive.
Thank you for much for another wonderful stay at your beautiful house. Our new home away from home! This time coming back in the summer we got to enjoy time by the pool with breathtaking views, monopoly in the living room, TV nights upstairs and dining under the stars outside. Your home is special to us and we always want to come back and never want to leave! It feels as if time stands still and our holidays feel so long and luxurious every time we are here.
So calm and relaxed! We arrived on Saturday at your beautiful, beautiful house and we enjoy it so much. Thank you very much for the lovely card and the excellent bottle of wine. We did enjoy it yesterday in the evening by the pool. It is so calm here and the pool and everything else is so amazing. We never had such a relaxed holiday for years.

J'ai adoré séjourner dans cette jolie maison. Le jardin était ma partie préférée. J'ai bien aimé me baigner dans la piscine. Je suis ravi de dire que je suis satisfait de mon séjour.
Des vacances inoubliables ! Nous n'aurions pas pu passer une meilleure semaine dans ce magnifique château, parfaitement équipé pour la détente et le plaisir, avec des journées au bord de la piscine et des repas en terrasse. Nous n'avons jamais ressenti le besoin de partir, si ce n'est pour les incontournables remontants de rosé : nous avons mangé et bu comme des rois. De très bons souvenirs qui nous accompagneront jusqu'à notre prochaine visite, nous l'espérons !
Ce n'était pas notre première visite à La Barde et encore une fois nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances en famille. La maison possède beaucoup de caractère tout en étant à la fois spacieuse et confortable. La cuisine est bien équipée et les coins salons à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur peuvent accueillir confortablement 10 personnes. Le jardin est magnifique et regorge de plantes et d'arbustes variés et colorés tandis que la piscine est grande et nettoyée régulièrement par le propriétaire. Encore une fois, nous avons profité de belles journées à Saint-Émilion, Brantôme et Cognac pour n'en citer que quelques-unes - et bien sûr d'agréables boissons en soirée à Verteillac. Merci - nous gardons de précieux souvenirs de ces vacances fantastiques !
It was amazing. The house was beautiful and the pool was really nice. All of my family loved it and we all want to come back next summer.
J'ai passé une semaine au Petit Pigeonnier en août et j'ai passé un merveilleux séjour. La propriété était impeccable et extrêmement bien aménagée. L'emplacement était magnifique et a dépassé toutes mes attentes. Je tenais également à vous faire part de l'hospitalité exceptionnelle de Debbie, notre hôte. Des yaourts maison étaient proposés le matin et une séance de yoga privée était organisée. Des recommandations de restaurants et de lieux à visiter ont été formulées sans aucune insistance ni atteinte à notre vie privée.
Un grand merci pour ce merveilleux séjour à Camirout. Nous avons tous passé un moment fabuleux : nous avons profité du beau temps, exploré les environs, goûté aux délices des restaurants locaux et des fêtes de village/marchés nocturnes, participé aux fêtes médiévales (un moment particulièrement apprécié !) , et surtout, nous sommes reposés au bord de la piscine. Ces deux semaines ont été exceptionnelles et agréables. Merci pour votre gentillesse et votre hospitalité chaleureuse. Nous garderons un excellent souvenir de ce séjour exceptionnel ici.
Nous avons réservé le Château Bellevue pour y installer notre séjour golfique. Avant cela, nous n'avions aucune expérience concrète du Pays basque et avons finalement joué moins de parties de golf que prévu, tant il y avait de choses à faire et à voir ! Nous avons eu la chance exceptionnelle d'être là pendant la Fête de Bayonne, où la ville entière se transforme en une fête en plein air. Côté gastronomie, nous avons apprécié les nombreux restaurants basques, et en particulier les restaurants de poissons du port de Biarritz et de Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Les parcours de golf locaux étaient très variés, mais le point culminant était sans conteste le Golf de Biarritz, un parcours exigeant, avec son terrain époustouflant au bord de la falaise et ses vues imprenables sur le littoral.
Thank you for sharing your fantastic home with us. Perfect location and layout of the house, with a great outside bathing area to watch the sunsets with a glass of wine. Laprade not to be missed. If you are prepared to drive a little further Issigeac (Noth East of Eymet) worth a visit with a good selection of bars, shops and restaurants. Big thanks to Olivia, always on hand to help. Magnifique château meublé avec beaucoup de goût, séjour très agréable au bord de la piscine, propriétaires charmants.
We had an excellent holiday at the villa, it was just perfect. The pool was perfect and the seating areas outside were ideal for eating and drinking and gazing at the stars. We will definitely recommend the villa to friends and family, it's a dream we want to share.
Thank you so much for a wonderful stay in the Loft du Vigneron; we have had a wonderfully relaxing and luxurious stay. It's been lovely staying somewhere with an excellent kitchen and such well-appointed bathrooms. And the beds are exceptionally comfortable. Externally, your garden is absolutely stunning and such a fabulous surprise - we leave inspired! More than anything, it's been your warmth and generous hospitality which will stay with us.
Perfect romantic getaway. Maison Meunier is set in the beautiful grounds, next to the old mill, overlooking the lake. The cottage is beautifully furnished and has its own patio and pool. The facilities are superb, the grounds are well manicured, lovely for walks and there is a fabulous games room where you can meet up with other guests for a drink and a chat and maybe a game of pool. A stroll into the village to sample the local fair is a must, the villagers made us very welcome. There are a number of local market towns (bastides) and châteaux close by including Monpazier a lively bastide with many shops and restaurants to enjoy. The owners were really helpful with advice on where to go and what to do, they couldn't do enough for us. Fabulous holiday.
Wow, wow and wow! The views are wonderful with the gorgeous sunsets. The whole family have loved all the facilities, particularly swimming in the multi-coloured lights at night.
Nous sommes maintenant chez nous en Australie. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans votre maison. L'emplacement était parfait pour visiter la région : nous avons visité des villages, des vignobles et des villes balnéaires. Nous avons particulièrement aimé Mèze et la plage de Sète. C'était très relaxant de rentrer à la maison et de se rafraîchir avec un plongeon dans la piscine avant le dîner. Nous avons trouvé que l'emplacement de la maison était très calme, mais idéal pour sa proximité avec Pèzenas. Nous n'hésiterons pas à recommander votre belle maison à nos amis.
Belle demeure. Une jolie demeure avec jardins, exceptionnellement paisible et privée. Belle piscine. Tous les équipements. Saint-Alvère est également un beau village.
C'est magnifique et absolument parfait pour nous. Nous avons aussi adoré le village et le restaurant. Nous avons séjourné dans de belles maisons en France mais la vôtre est certainement la meilleure. Nous vous contacterons pour notre prochain voyage en France !

Stunning château in rural France. In August this year we made our 3rd visit to Château Velouse with a group of friends and once again had a wonderful time. The first time we flew to Paris and hired a car but found it more economical to take a ferry - crossing to Dieppe last year and Calais in August. Easy drive on all occasions. Location is in a beautiful rural area steeped in history and close to the Loire with its majestic châteaux and extensive forests. Medieval Bourge, only a few miles away, is very well worth several visits – the acoustics in the cathedral are amazing. The surrounding area is reasonably flat and so an ideal centre for cycling on very quiet roads and off road tracks. The communal areas and bedrooms in the château are impressive and very classy. The pool area is an ideal centre for complete relaxation. Pool is clean and well maintained. The hosts are extremely welcoming and friendly - very attentive to our needs and not obtrusive. Well worth a visit.
