As anticipated, it was as wonderful as last year and we have all had a splendid time and are sorry to have to leave. Thank you so much for your wonderful Loft and your hospitality. We are all looking forward to our visit again next year.

Merci pour ces merveilleuses vacances reposantes. Votre maison, vos jardins et les environs sont tous spectaculaires. Nous avons beaucoup aimé pique-niquer dans l'arrière jardin et nos enfants ont adoré la cabane dans les arbres. Les temps forts ont été le marché de Saumur le samedi matin. Le dîner à La Licorne Fontervaud, le Château d'Ussé, le Zoo BioParc de Doce et les jardins du Château de Villandry. Aussi une visite avec les enfants de l'autre côté de la route pour voir les lapins à l'invitation de vos sympathiques voisins. Merci beaucoup.
We enjoyed our relaxing holiday at Le Tesquet which lived up to expectations. The accommodation was great with everything we needed>Pete was a genial host who was fun of good ideas and suggestions. The swimming pool was wonderful. Thank you.
Had an amazing holiday. The villa could not have been better. Had everything we needed including free Wi-Fi and access to English TV. The pool was great and heated so we could go in it all the time. The area was lovely. Food was brilliant and overall we have a really lovely holiday and would definitely come back to the villa.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. We have enjoyed every second. There is such a relaxed and calm atmosphere at Maison Four à Chaux! Perfect, We've been spoilt. We've enjoyed dining in all the areas around the house, especially the pool house! We would recommend a visit to Rochefort and Cognac. The park in Saint-Savinien is great for little ones. Boat rider, inflatables and picnics. Thank you for the gifts on our arrival... Yvonne has been a perfect host... great advice and support. Thank you so much.
What a beautiful, spaceous and clean place. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Very nice area in the garden to relax by the pool, to have a bite on the terrace or to have drinks at your cosy private bar the area in the corner. Inside area has a very nice cool temperature, even when it's 38°C outside. Perfect. Slept like a bear! Absolutely loved my stay, which was too short! Adore the house and flowers, love the owners. Had a great time.
Just wanted to say what a wonderful property Moulin de Terrac is. We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay. Probably the best property we have stayed in since we started holidaying in France 16 years ago. And also what a great manager Bonnie was – really helpful and friendly.
Elle doit être la villa de vacances d'été parfaite pour une petite famille. En couple nous avons été rejoints par quelques amis pour une partie de notre séjour et nous avons passé de très bons moments au soleil. Le restaurant O 13 Clochers à Monteton a changé de direction et sert une cuisine délicieuse. Hostellerie des Ducs de bonne qualité - et le restaurant aux Seyches a un rapport qualité-prix incroyable. Nous sommes sûrs de revenir.
Thank you for such an amazing holiday. It's been so peaceful and relaxing. We've loved your beautiful houser, grounds and pool. It's a really special place. We had a lovely day out in Bergerac a we swam at Lac de Pombonne which was lovely - just a few minutes drive away. We also had a nice evening in Périgueux. Mostly though we just enjoyed relaxing on the terrace by the pool! Thanks so much we hope to return.

Quel endroit merveilleux pour fêter deux anniversaires et un 25ème anniversaire. Le temps a été magnifique. Merci pour toutes les fleurs fraîches dans la chambre. Fabienne, qu'aurions-nous fait sans toi ? Merci. Et Frédéric toujours au bout du fil pour répondre aux questions… Merci ! Nous avons réservé la Maison Baleyssagues 2 ans avant nos dates (c'est très populaire !) et cela valait la peine d'attendre.
Nous avons passé de magnifiques vacances ! Une villa superbe, propre et bien équipée. Merci Philippe d’avoir été un hôte aussi merveilleux – et surtout pour les délicieuses viennoiseries ! La villa est si agréable que nous avons été plus qu’heureux d’y passer des journées tranquilles, mais nous avons aussi fait de très belles excursions. Carcassonne et son château sont incontournables. Le marché du mardi à Olonzac est fabuleux. La plage de Narbonne est magnifique et nous avons beaucoup apprécié la découverte et la promenade en bateau aux 9 écluses de Fonseranes. Nous n’hésiterions pas à revenir ici – je pense qu’il serait très difficile de trouver un autre endroit aussi parfait ! Tristes de rentrer chez nous, mais tellement chanceux d’avoir créé de merveilleux souvenirs !
Would just like to say how much we enjoyed our stay - the accommodation was wonderful and I can't think of a single negative.
We enjoyed a very special week in this outstanding house in the beautiful Burgundy Region. We would, of course, highly recommend it for wine enthusiasts (a topic about which we learned a lot!) but it also worked very well for us as a venue for an extended family get together. The experience was enhanced further by taking up the option of a 5 course catered dinner in the house one night which was absolutely first class.
La Villa du Château est tout simplement exceptionnelle. Cette demeure historique classée, magnifiquement restaurée, a été rénovée avec le plus grand soin et offre un niveau de confort et d'équipements remarquable. Une mention spéciale s'impose pour l'espace piscine et la cuisine d'été extérieure : leur conception est superbe et permet de passer toute la journée dehors — du petit-déjeuner au dîner, en passant par le déjeuner et le goûter — sans jamais avoir besoin de retourner à la maison principale. La propriété bénéficie d'un emplacement idéal, à seulement deux minutes à pied du Château de Duras et du cœur du village — où se trouvent tous les commerces et commodités — tout en jouissant d'une tranquillité absolue. Les recommandations de Claire, tant avant que pendant notre séjour, nous ont permis de profiter pleinement de la maison ainsi que de la région environnante.
Lovely authentic French house set in beautiful grounds and perfectly located to access local amenities. Very well equipped, making it a home from home.
Stunning property overlooking lake. Property is in great location but not isolated, walking distance to bar, restaurant, Boulangerie and takeaway pizza shop (or 2 minutes in car). Property is in excellent condition and is very clean and well looked after, the pool is great for a cooling dip, the area around the pool is also modern and clean with nice furniture too. Comfortable beds with crisp bedding, everything has been thought of with a lovely modern kitchen, unique dining table, comfortable clean sofa. Great views overlooking the lake but still very private. The house also stays quite cool as it's shaded by the trees which was great in the heatwave. The owners are really helpful and take pride in their special property. Thank you for such a wonderful holiday, will definitely be recommending to friends and family and would stay again when visiting this beautiful area of France *****
As per other reviews the house was great with stunning views. All the things you need to have a great holiday. The weather was still hot with some days in the mid 30s, so we took advantage of the swimming pool and relaxed around the house. The house is a great location for cycling, there is the obvious challenge of Mount Ventoux and there are some excellent roads in the surrounding area with stunning scenery. For those interested in wine then I would highly recommend Paul from Rhône wine tours. He came to the house and we did wine tasting with him and we learnt about wines of the Rhône valley, while the kids played in the pool. Great if you don't want to take a tour with kids at the winery.
Une véritable oasis dans le quartier animé de Sarlat. Très bien située. On peut aller à pied partout. Marché fermier. Restaurant. Magnifique ville animée. Superbe piscine. Superbe jardin. Confortable. Jackie est très serviable et attentionnée.

Enjoyed a wonderful week with friends in this beautiful house surrounded by stunning scenery. Clare was welcoming and helpful and we couldn't have asked for more. Would thoroughly recommend and very much hope to return again.
The weather has been great so spent most of our time in the pool and on the sun loungers. We loved visiting the towns and villages nearby and particularly enjoyed the fresh pastries every morning! Thank you for the great holiday we had in this great villa and a holiday we will never forget, and a holiday we loved every minute of. We all will be very, very sad to be leaving! Merci!
Emplacement fabuleux avec des vues époustouflantes. Piscine magnifique et essentielle. Joli village avec un restaurant local. Fabuleuse carte de mets et vins au Domaine Gayda - à distance de marche également !
