Décidément toujours pas convainvus par le site, nous avons besoin d'y retourner une 5ème fois ! Merci pour cette autre excellente semaine.
Nous avons passé une semaine parfaite dans cette magnifique maison. Autant nous avons adoré sortir et nous promener, autant nous avons adoré passer des journées paresseuses autour de la piscine - cela a été un véritable défi de la laisser ! Nous y sommes parvenus à quelques reprises et entre nous, les temps forts ont été de vraies balades à vélo sur des routes de campagne tranquilles, l'exploration de belles petites villes aux alentours, la visite incontournable d'un château (Chenonceau est un must - arrivez tôt) et bien sûr, le simple fait d'être en France. Merci de nous avoir permis d'entrer dans votre maison très spéciale - vous êtes des hôtes charmants et j'espère que nos chemins se croiseront à nouveau à l'avenir. Merci beaucoup!
Thank you very much for making our holiday such a pleasant experience. The Loft is a lovely property in a fine part of France.
We, two couples, stayed the last week of June and the first week of July in La Picholine. We found modern comfort in an authentic environment in the well-equipped holiday homes Maison Carrée and Joie de Vivre. You can rightly say that you enjoy life here. Privacy, beauty, friendliness, a lovely swimming pool, the beautifully maintained gardens... it all comes to you here. And what we also appreciated very much: we arrived in a house where the basic necessities were present (such as coffee, tea, herbs and olive oil) and a nice bottle of wine and delicious (home-made!) cake were ready for us, which made us feel really welcome. Moreover, the area is also very attractive. From the tranquility of the domaine you drive to the liveliness and versatility of Avignon and Villeneuve and for example to Orange. The markets are very charming in the smaller towns nearby and there is also no shortage of nice restaurants. We really had a wonderful time, certainly also because of the friendliness of the owners.
We had a fabulous time staying in this very stylish and well equipped house, enjoying both the heat wave and the incredible storm. We loved the swimming pool and the pool and table tennis tables. We visited Vaison la Romaine and Avignon and enjoyed both of them. The market in Nyons was very impressive and very busy, so it was worth going early. We loved eating at the resto des arts in Nyons particulary enjoying the ravioli. Thank you for letting us stay at your lovely house it is quite stunning.
The gîte located in a beautiful part of unspoilt France, great for exploring near by villages / towns holding day and evening markets, driving through vineyards, so peaceful and yet great roads to explore Sarlat, Domme and others alongside Dordogne river. The gîte is extremely well equipped, downstairs is like home from home. Outside is delightful, pool idyllic with a selection of seating areas in and out of shade, the outside cooking area was the 'icing on the cake'. The owners are wonderful hosts.
After months of searching for the perfect 'retreat' we arrived at Le Presbytère! Exactly what we envisioned for our first trip to France with out kids. We have so enjoyed the pool, pond and of course, the whole place. We visited every bastide and market and cooked to our hearts content. Such an exquisite spot - we know the area very well - but rarely left this spot; instead played games, spotted frogs and foxes and explored every inch of this 'fab' property. Perhaps a X-mas visit next?! Many thanks for sharing this beautiful home - we hope to return soon. Gary and Louise were great - close at hand but unintrusive.
Nous y avons passé un magnifique séjour. La piscine était tout simplement idéale et nous avons facilement organisé des barbecues plusieurs soirs sans aucun problème (ceci venant d'une personne qui n'en a pas l'habitude!). J'ai particulièrement aimé le fait de pouvoir s'installer à divers endroits autour de la maison au fur et à mesure que la journée passait pour rester au soleil ou à l'ombre. La petite ville à 5 minutes en voiture a d'excellents commerces et deux supermarchés pratiques, alors qu'un peu plus loin se trouvent d'excellents restaurants. Bref, un lieu à apprécier et à savourer.
We have had the most wonderful time at Maison des Hirondelles. The villa is beautiful and had everything we needed, so clean, comfortable and well thought out. Thank you for making us feel so welcome Cédric. Our daughter Edie, who is 8 months old had a wonderful time in the swimming pool and very much enjoyed her first holiday here in France. We visited Narbonne, Carcassonne, Gruissan, Minerve (fantastic chocolate shop!), Béziers, Canal du Midi with the 9 locks. Thank you for showing us your wine cellar, such a lovely touch. We would love to come back.
Elegance and ease. The grounds have a great sense of fun for children to explore. Excellently Maintained A great pool area, sun and shaded areas so that there is something for everyone. We’ve had such a fabulous week in this beautiful farmhouse. It’s very difficult to drag ourselves away from the pool, tennis court and, for some of us, the gym. The location – we thoroughly enjoyed the markets, Chinon and the woods – as well as the beautiful piano and luxuries of the house, have made this a truly memorable week for us with our grown-up children and their friends. Thank you all.
Nous avons passé un excellent moment dans cette belle villa. Prendre un bain de soleil au bord de la piscine, nager et faire de l'escalade (ce ne sont seulement quelques-unes des choses que nous avons faites). Nous espérons revenir l'année prochaine.
Superbe maison spacieuse avec beaucoup d'espace pour notre famille de 6 adultes, tant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur avec une grande piscine. Conviendrait aussi à 2 familles partant en vacances ensemble. Endroit tranquille avec l'essentiel des commodités non loin à pied: supermarché, boucher, etc.. et accès facile en voiture aux villages voisins et à Béziers. Nous avons passé du bon temps ici et nous le recommanderions sans hésitation.
Nous avons séjourné du 22 au 29 juillet 2023 dans Les Trois Maisons de Valescure. 4 générations, 19 personnes. Notre séjour a été très agréable, randonnées magnifiques, visites - Cotignac est une petite merveille, comme sur les cartes postales - piscine, tant sur le plan logistique qu'environnement. Équipements parfaits pour la vingtaine que nous étions. Thomas a contribué à la réussite de notre séjour grâce à so attention et sa réactivité efficace, excellente communication.
La Villa du Château a surpassé toutes nos attentes. Dès notre arrivée, nous nous sommes sentis véritablement les bienvenus ; l'accueil chaleureux de Claire nous a immédiatement mis à l'aise, comme si nous étions chez nous. Ce qui rend ce lieu vraiment unique, c'est l'équilibre parfait qu'il offre. Vous vous réveillez face à une vue imprenable sur la campagne, dans un calme absolu, tout en étant à quelques minutes de marche seulement du cœur de Duras, avec son château, ses cafés, ses restaurants, ses marchés et ses commerces de proximité. La maison elle-même est absolument magnifique : superbement restaurée, pleine de cachet, incroyablement spacieuse et équipée de tout ce dont on peut avoir besoin. Que ce soit pour se détendre au bord de la piscine privée, partager de longs repas dans la cuisine d'été, admirer le coucher du soleil depuis la terrasse ou se retrouver en famille et entre amis dans l'un des nombreux espaces de vie, chaque recoin invite à prendre son temps et à savourer l'instant présent. Nous formions un groupe intergénérationnel et tout le monde a passé un séjour mémorable. Les adultes ont apprécié le cadre paisible ainsi que les vignobles et restaurants des environs, les adolescents ont aimé l'ambiance animée du village, et les enfants se sont amusés sans fin entre la piscine, les jardins et l'exploration du château. Il est rare de trouver une propriété qui allie une telle tranquillité à une proximité immédiate avec toutes les commodités. Que vous souhaitiez vous détendre, partir à la découverte de la région, fêter un événement en famille ou simplement profiter du charme du sud-ouest de la France, la Villa du Château est l'endroit idéal. C'est sans aucun doute l'une des plus belles maisons de vacances que nous ayons jamais fréquentées, et un lieu où nous reviendrions avec grand plaisir.

The place is amazing, it's perfect for sharing special moments with friends and family.There were 9 of us meeting for the weekend in the beautiful cottage restored by Christophe's hands. Everything was perfect, from communication before the stay, Christophe's welcome and his legendary conviviality! The cottage is very well equipped, the decoration is also very beautiful and the place allows you to party well. I can only recommend choosing this place for its charm and the quality of its host Christophe’ Thanks again, Hope to see you soon.

A wonderful relaxing part of our trips spent in Montsoreau, living the dream! While really enjoying the local cafe/restaurants we made great and regular contact with the local boulangerie, boucher and wine producer who are all starts of their trade. Living local in Montsoreau for 2 weeks was great fun and delicious and... the accommodation provided us with the quiet and rest we needed. Spacious and with a place to read and watch the river on the terrace. Thank you.
What a wonderful home you have created. I would quite happily just move in forever! You have thought of everything. A wonderful, warm welcome, always on hand if we needed anything. We truly loved every minute. You even messaged Martha on the day of her GCSE exam results to wish her well - so very kind and thoughtful. We loved Rieux-Minervois - the people at the market stall and at the boulangerie - just a lovely place. We would highly recommend Le Spot for dinner, and also Big Up for cycling. I’ll miss doing my laps in the pool everyday and the wonderful terrace. We would love to come back again soon. Thank you for everything and a truly memorable holiday.
Nous nous sommes sentis si détendus dans notre petite bulle merveilleuse qu'il est si difficile de revenir à la réalité ! Une semaine en famille plus sereine au Mas Saint-Martial.
Stunning property overlooking lake. Property is in great location but not isolated, walking distance to bar, restaurant, Boulangerie and takeaway pizza shop (or 2 minutes in car). Property is in excellent condition and is very clean and well looked after, the pool is great for a cooling dip, the area around the pool is also modern and clean with nice furniture too. Comfortable beds with crisp bedding, everything has been thought of with a lovely modern kitchen, unique dining table, comfortable clean sofa. Great views overlooking the lake but still very private. The house also stays quite cool as it's shaded by the trees which was great in the heatwave. The owners are really helpful and take pride in their special property. Thank you for such a wonderful holiday, will definitely be recommending to friends and family and would stay again when visiting this beautiful area of France *****
This property is so beautiful you may not want to venture out, but if you do there are great restaurants and bars nearby as well as lovely walks and biking trails. The rooms are very comfortable, all en-suite and everything you could wish for is provided. The huge swimming pool / pool house / relaxing / eating and barbecue areas mean that you can be outside all the time but the gorgeous well equipped kitchen and indoor rooms offer a cool alternative. Cant wait to go back!
