We have had a wonderful, relaxing and very enjoyable week at the farmhouse. It is a stunning place that we have enjoyed immensely. We have found it difficult to tear ourselves away from the glorious pool and tennis court and have had a fabulous rest! Many thanks for such an enjoyable stay, knowing that the team are on hand if needed... Bliss, an absolute gem.
Notre séjour ici a été des plus agréables. La villa est très confortable avec un agréable mélange de décoration moderne et antique. La piscine a été utilisée tous les jours, même si le temps s'est un peu rafraîchi fin septembre. Bessan est bien situé pour visiter de nombreux endroits intéressants. Nous nous sommes sentis les bienvenus, accueillis par Lisbeth.
Thank you so much for letting us stay in your lovely house. We were lucky enough to see the (almost) full moon rising from the perfect spot in the garden on our first night. We loved the house and pool and most of all the beautiful views. To be in a village and yet so quiet is unique. We very much hope to come back.
We have thoroughly enjoyed our week here in Vouvant. Piglet Barn is an excellent mix of loveliness with all your touches and thoughtfulness to make a stay so welcoming and enjoyable. On top of this, we have had the delight of wine, peaches, home-made almond cake and two evening apéros in your wonderful company.

I'd like to thank you for the fantastic stay we had in your amazing cottage Maison Bourg Calès. It was simply beautiful and my family and I absolutely loved every second of our stay. The weather was brilliant and there aren't enough words to describe how stunning your cottage is. We would definitely stay there again and will highly recommend it to any friends. Had a great stay for the week. Villa was great, very spacious, pool was excellent. Excellent communication from start to finish, was greeted on arrival and Paul was on hand to help and support when needed for advice on tourism spots on what was going on around town. Great location to Béziers and Narbonne. Villa was spacious and felt like a home from home. Location in the village is really safe and quiet. I would highly recommend.
Nous avons passé une nuit dans cette jolie villa perdue au fond des bois et des vignes lors d'une soirée de mariage tout près ( domaine de Franco, superbe lieu également). Nous étions au calme (et pour cause, aucun voisin à la ronde). La villa est tres bien équipée. La literie est excellente. Magnifique.
An absolute joy to stay here! The Loft is perfect in every way. Karen and Russell have literally thought of everything. A wonderful kitchen and gorgeous crockery, loads of utensils - it was a joy to use! Undoubtedly for our four teenagers the Loft terrace has been a major hit. Many an hour has been spent lounging around listening to the water trickling along. Totally relaxing. The recommendations were perfect for things to do, restaurants and vineyards to visit. Karen was so right about la Cite at Carcassonne - beautiful. Many thanks for the welcome, the chats and the wine - we will definitely be back!
Both (the house and grounds) are absolutely beautiful and fantastic for parents and children alike. Despite a lot of activities in and around the area, we chose to stay 'in' more than we had expected because of how good the house and grounds were. A stunning location which surpassed our expectations. Both this and the hosts made this into a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. THE BEST FAMILY HOLIDAY WE'VE HAD - Thank you for everything! X
Thank you so much for your very warm welcome at Piglet. What a wonderful house ! Vouvant is a delightful village which we enjoyed getting to know. Altogether a lovely spot.
Nous y avons passé un magnifique séjour. La piscine était tout simplement idéale et nous avons facilement organisé des barbecues plusieurs soirs sans aucun problème (ceci venant d'une personne qui n'en a pas l'habitude!). J'ai particulièrement aimé le fait de pouvoir s'installer à divers endroits autour de la maison au fur et à mesure que la journée passait pour rester au soleil ou à l'ombre. La petite ville à 5 minutes en voiture a d'excellents commerces et deux supermarchés pratiques, alors qu'un peu plus loin se trouvent d'excellents restaurants. Bref, un lieu à apprécier et à savourer.
Une maison de village idéale pour de superbes vacances. Une très belle maison, comme sur les photos et très accueillante. Design raffiné. Piscine chauffée, rien à redire. Maison propre et pratique. Le propriétaire est disponible et disposé à aider. Si je reviens dans la région, je reviendrai à cette maison si elle est disponible.
Merci d'avoir été le meilleur hôte qui soit. Vous avez été si serviable et généreux avec vos cadeaux attentionnés et votre aide. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la maison, préparé de fabuleux repas, apprécié les repas en plein air et, bien sûr, la piscine ! Nous avons adoré explorer Carcassonne et le Canal du Midi. This is our second family holiday in this wonderful house. The welcome from Ian and Hugh when we arrived was excellent. The house and garden are beautifully cared for and the standard of accommodation is 'five star'. It felt like home from home rather than a soleless rental property. Having the owners on site was a plus as they where able to guide us with local activities and restaurant recommendations... there is a lot to do in this area and being so close to some of the best wine regions in the world is definitely a big plus. We also has a lovely day in Bordeaux, which is an easy drive or train journey and well worth the effort. We plan to return next year for our summer break and I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful peaceful haven to anyone wishing to experience the best in hospitality! Thank you Ian and Hugh, you have created something very special!
We have just returned from two weeks at La Roquette and had an amazing time. We are a group of 10, two parents, 4 adult daughters and now their partners who have been holidaying annually for 34 years now and I have to say this place is hard to beat. The setting is beautiful . Deer and hares in the fields and birds as the only sound. The house itself is so well equipped with plenty of space inside and outside to be together or to seperate and a wonderful pool which was very much needed in a heatwave of 40 degrees!! We did a wonderful vineyard tour/tasting at Domaine Bois de Devès with a lovely English wine maker, Nick Smith,and visited several recommended restaurants, the local Burger bar being a huge favourite…only 6 mins away. We will definitely return in the future when it’s cooler to explore more. Many thanks to all at Pure France, to Patricia the owner and Andrew (the pool guy) for always being on hand for questions and to help. Highly recommended!
We enjoyed a very happy week at the villa. The only problem was that the villa is so nice that most of our plans for getting out and about were abandoned! We loved the privacy of the garden and pool area.
Nous avons passé deux semaines bien remplies et c'était tellement agréable de retourner dans une maison paisible et propre avec un joli jardin pour se détendre. Nous avons réservé pour revenir en 2020 et nous attendons déjà avec impatience. L'appartement est entièrement équipé avec toutes les indispensables pour un court séjour.
Attendez-vous à un accueil chaleureux de la part de Nicky et Richard, les propriétaires sympathiques et serviables du charmant château. Magnifiquement situé au milieu de vignobles et de collines boisées, nous avons apprécié le calme, les vues, la magnifique piscine et l'espace. Le château n'est pas loin de quelques jolis villages disséminés autour de la rivière Lot, et Cahors n'est qu'à 25 minutes. Beaucoup de choses à faire et à voir dans la région, avec la possibilité de retourner dans notre oasis de vacances pour y faire un barbecue et nous détendre ou jouer une partie de golf sur place sur leur vaste terrain. J'ai adoré.
Nous avons séjourné du 22 au 29 juillet 2023 dans Les Trois Maisons de Valescure. 4 générations, 19 personnes. Notre séjour a été très agréable, randonnées magnifiques, visites - Cotignac est une petite merveille, comme sur les cartes postales - piscine, tant sur le plan logistique qu'environnement. Équipements parfaits pour la vingtaine que nous étions. Thomas a contribué à la réussite de notre séjour grâce à so attention et sa réactivité efficace, excellente communication.
Very pretty new hotel, charmingly furnished in the beautiful wine village of Meursault. You can get to Beaune very quickly, but Dijon is also easily accessible by car. Very nice, warm hosts.

What an amazing place and fantastic hosts, Hugh and Ian have given our family the perfect holiday. Thank you so much. The kids said the pool is amazing and really loved the salt water which didn't make there eyes sting like normal chlorinated pools. Oscar your adorable dog was also a big plus for Lara!
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour reposant à la Villa Funel dans le cadre d'un long tour de France. L'emplacement de la propriété était si tranquille avec un beau jardin et une piscine pour se détendre lorsque nous n'étions pas en visite. Le mobilier, les serviettes et la literie étaient de bonne qualité et il y avait absolument tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin. Carole et Jean Luc étaient très détendus, amicaux et serviables mais nous avons vraiment eu le sentiment d'avoir eu l'endroit pour nous seuls, sans âme en vue, ce qui était parfait. Nous espérons revenir un jour.
