We have just returned from a fantastic holiday in Fitou, staying in this lovely and comfortable villa. I agree with other reviewers, the pictures do not do the property justice. It is spacious with a very high finish throughout maintaining a very homely feel. Our party consisted of 2 families with 4 kids (6, 6, 2 and 2), they loved it. As for the area, well it's a really special region of France. The location is perfect for day trips to the regions finest attractions (Carcassonne, Collioure, Gruissan etc...) and equally relaxing staying local. Fitou and nearby Leucate Village are charming and the local beaches are lovely, unspoilt and crowd free. There is as much or as little to do here as you'd like. We will certainly be coming back to the area and hopefully to this villa again.

WHAT A PLACE! The Loft has everything you could possibly hope for - homeliness, elegance, well-equipped, clearly well-cared for, and such gracious hosts; we simply could not have hoped for more. Thank you for all your hospitality, and for providing breakfast on our first day which was an exceptional touch. All the information you have provided has been spot-on, and we can only hope for the opportunity to return to try more of the restaurants (and the wines). From pool days to skydiving and hedgehog rescue, this holiday will live long in the memory - even the techno DJ set in Carcassonne thumping through our dinner, as they dropped the bass during our hors d’oeuvres, made us laugh!
Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse aux Averries. Belle maison et installations, et région fantastique à visiter. Merci à Michel pour sa généreuse hospitalité.
La maison de Sam correspondait à ce que nous recherchions pour une famille avec des enfants de 12 et 10 ans. La proximité de la vallée du Lot et de la Dordogne signifiait qu'il y avait de nombreuses options de sorties et d'installations à explorer et à apprécier pour les adultes et les enfants. Les marchés nocturnes locaux ont également été un point fort de notre séjour. La propriété était très bien équipée avec des jeux d'intérieur et du matériel pour profiter des espaces extérieurs. C'est extrêmement calme et paisible avec peu de voitures qui passent, ce qui en fait un environnement très relaxant et reposant pour le temps passé dans la propriété. Nous sommes partis en nous sentant très bien reposés.
It’s hard to know where to begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. Your property is so well set up and we made good use of the barbecue, tennis court, boules, darts, table tennis and of course, the pool which beats all other swimming pools we’ve ever had on holiday... and the shady areas when the sun got just that bit too hot. So much thought has obviously gone into it all and it made our holiday very special. The four teenage grandchildren we had with us had a ball and we all loved the Lot countryside, its villages and the sunflowers. How can you not be happy when you’ve got fields of them within a few steps from your door? The two Marches Gourmands we went to at Tournon and Saux were brilliant fun - the food on offer at Saux was particularly good and Tournon is such a pretty place. Our daughter loved going for early morning runs, seeing a hare and on two occasions, a deer, amongst sunflowers. Swimming in the Lot, cycling and canoeing are all on our list of favourite things we did. We also have a great picture of three of the red squirrels on the tree near the bolet - what a brilliant place for breakfast. Thank you so very much from all of us. We, grandparents, parents and our little daughter, spent two fantastic weeks in this wonderful villa in Fréjus. The villa offers plenty of room for a bigger family. You can find everything you need for a pleasant stay. It's fully furnished. lovely decorated and well appointed with kitchenware and with everything you might need. There is a lushy, well maintained garden with a swimming pool and plenty of sunbeds. We loved our stay there with the beautiful view over Fréjus to the sea. We can recommend this villa to everyone looking for a peaceful, quite summer vacation. The owners are as well extremely friendly and helpful.
Merci pour une quinzaine fantastique ! C'était un endroit merveilleux pour célébrer un anniversaire spécial avec des amis et la famille. La maison était magnifique et nous avons apprécié l'atmosphère luxueuse et la décoration de bon goût. Les petites attentions ont été très appréciées : des livraisons de petit-déjeuner au repas et au cadre incroyables du Pourquoi Pas. Nous avons également apprécié la visite de la grotte de Saint-Chinian. Nous avons apprécié le repas au restaurant familial La Tournelle, un service amical et des prix très raisonnables. Pour un autre déjeuner gastronomique avec une vue impressionnante, nous avons apprécié le Tour à Monterey. Un déjeuner à prix raisonnable. Merci pour tout.
Our week in your beautiful home has gone far too quickly. We have really enjoyed the era and explored Uzes and its restaurants. There is still so much to do and we hope to be back. Many thanks for your welcome and discreet hospitality. The tortoises were a great distraction!

Les chambres sont décorées avec goût et offrent des prestations d'un bel hôtel. Les vacances sont passées trop vite !
What would you tell your friends about your holiday ? It was a very pleasant stay. A very quiet house, very well equipped, with a much-appreciated pool. Beautiful scenery. What was the best thing about your stay ? The pool. The view over the landscape. The outdoor space. The air conditioning. What could we do better for your next stay? A pitcher/carafe (but perhaps we just didn’t find it). Were there any appliances you really wished you had? It was more than perfect. How was the comfort of your rooms, pillows, and beds? Impeccable. Do you have any comments on the garden, pool, plancha, etc.? Wonderful. Missing: the table game, and a tree under whose shade one could have lunch. How do you rate the information provided in this booklet? Perfect and complete. Is there anything important missing? One of our friends suggested an electric bike. Another thought that suggestion was excessive. How could we improve it? I note that the useful information, sometimes highlighted, already seems extremely well presented — also topographic details, routes, activities, plans for next year. Do you have any other comments to help us serve you better when you return next year? Looking forward to future visits. Final remark: We thank you for this very good stay in this very beautiful and interesting house, whose collection of books caught our attention.
Narbonne is a classic, small French city. The villa is a perfect match and then some - more spacious than the pictures suggest and terrific spaces both outdoor and in. Well be back for more visits and more wine!
We arrived late afternoon and were met by Yvonne who gave us a lovely tour of this beautiful stunning house, such a lovely welcome. I love all of the lovely antique finds in all of the rooms from the hats in the master bedroom to the old magazines to the pram in the barn. Everything has been thought of here we really didn't need a thing. Would really recommend a trip to La Rochelle but you would need to leave early it really does get very busy. We have been truly spoilt staying here. Impeccably clean and tidy, we have loved every minute. We'd love to come back.

One of the best houses we've stayed in. Wow, what a holiday! We've just returned from a fantastic week at the house and all 14 of us have nothing but praise for the whole week. The house has been beautifully renovated and is perfectly equipped in every way. We ranged from 75 to 1 yr old and had plenty of space for us all. From the crisp white linen on the very comfy beds to the pizza oven, full sized bar, the lovely sun loungers and very well equipped kitchen... We couldn't have asked for more. The kids loved picking tomatoes and lettuce from the kitchen garden and my sister and I loved the fabulous gym with amazing views across the valley. In the run up to the holiday, I had all my questions answered by Mark and George was on hand for anything we needed during our stay. We're already planning our return visit next year, hopefully for a couple of weeks as one just isn't enough!
Un cadre parfait où se détendre et passer notre semaine de vacances. Nous avons apprécié la maison spacieuse, le jardin et la piscine ainsi que le merveilleux temps chaud ! Les villages pittoresques à proximité ont vraiment été une expérience spectaculaire. Nous avons passé une très belle semaine à la villa. Nous aurions aimé rester plus longtemps mais nos vacances sont maintenant terminées et nous repartons dans le Nord.
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette belle villa, décorée avec goût. Le propriétaire est charmant. De façon générale, la maison est très fonctionnelle. Cependant, la villa est pour un maximum de 4 et n'est pas conçue pour plus de personnes. Proche de Pézenas, jolie ville où sortir. Je recommande chaleureusement cette maison.

Quel bel endroit. Nous étions vraiment heureux de nous reposer là-bas. Votre maison est magnifique et la piscine est parfaite. Nous avons passé des vacances très agréables. Même si c'était tard dans la saison, nous avons eu 2 semaines de beau temps et avons même pu aller à la plage. De très belles plages ! Un séjour fantastique. Nous avons adoré Pézenas et avons souvent visité la ville. Nous recommandons vivement la villa. C'est vraiment magnifique et notre hôte est très accueillante. Nous espérons revenir bientôt.
