We've had a blissful week here. The house is beautifully and very stylishly renovated and is extremely comfortable and easy to live in. The surrounding environment is stunning. We've loved picking fresh figs straight from the tree breakfast and getting to know the local wines.
Thank you so very much for allowing us to share your wonderful villa. A little cool weather but we all had a great time. My brother actually worked for Courage Ales in London, England. I thought it was a small world. Mike and your lovely wife were great. If you are ever in Toronto Canada please contact us.
Just to say how much we enjoyed staying at Le Grand Verger for the last two weeks. What an amazing house in such a beautiful setting, we all found it so relaxing and inspirational, with lots of music, games and reading. A truly memorable family get together with lots of photographs to remind us. We loved La Romieu (thank you for the recommendation) where the gardens were superb and the Collégiale Saint-Pierre certainly an experience with the spiral staircases! Loved the herbs in the garden too which we used daily and several trips were made to the ice cream shop in the village, the green tomato and basil was a new find and delicious. We were lucky with the weather, providing lots of opportunity for swimming and generally relaxing. Thank you again, we'd loved to return in the future.
Nous avons pleinement profité de notre semaine dans ce magnifique cottage de conte de fées. Le cadre est superbe, des charmants jardins qui entourent la maison aux arbres gracieux qui entourent la piscine. La grande piscine était l'endroit idéal pour se détendre, malgré les températures qui ont dépassé les 40 °C cette semaine. Le cottage est frais et spacieux, et offre tout le confort nécessaire pour un séjour agréable. Son emplacement est également idéal pour explorer la région, riche en sites historiques intéressants et en villages charmants à visiter. Nos hôtes, Caterina et Stephen, étaient sympathiques et accueillants. Ils ont veillé à notre intimité, tout en restant toujours disponibles en cas de besoin. Nous recommandons sans hésiter ce magnifique cottage et espérons pouvoir y retourner prochainement.
Nous avons passé un trés bon séjour au calme et en plein nature dans une domaine plein de charmes. C'est un endroit idéal pour se reposer et se ressourcer et aussi découvrir cette belle région. Nos hôtes ont été très accueillants et disponibles. Nous recommandons cet endroit !
We have had a wonderful stay at La Remise. Esther and Lee have been helpful hosts and gave some great tips on places to eat and visit for our stay. The villa and especially the pool have been fantastic.
We had a beautiful fou-poster suite with claw footed bath in this attractive country château. We enjoyed a lazy week in glorious sunshine in August dipping in and out of the outdoor heated swimming pool. The château has extensive grounds in which to walk off dinner and is surrounded by peaceful countryside. Bourges was a great place to visit, both cathedral, palace and gardens were a must-see. We were with a large party of friends who took it in turns to cook and we ate outside on the terrace watching the sun go down.
We've had a wonderful week, enjoyed by all. We thought the tapas evening with Emma was great fun and well worth it, she's very knowledgable. We ended the week with lunch at Domaine Gayda, a great recommendation. We were sad to leave such a lovely home which exceeded our expectations and I would love to think that one day we could return. Thank you for your welcome.
Our family had a fabulous week at your property. The house, the region, the food, the wine - all were typically perfect and in keeping with expectations. Additionally, Pure France.com left no stone unturned and precisely described the property in all its detail - a comforting insurance we have come to rely upon over our last three holidays. For a family or couple wishing to see this area of Provence, I could not recommend it more.
Pour ceux qui profiteront des Jumelles : cette maison a été un vrai petit paradis pour mon mari, moi et nos deux neveux. Elle est très bien aménagée avec toutes les commodités dont vous aurez besoin. Nous avons passé ces vacances à la mi-juin et avons trouvé que la maison était très fraîche avec une belle brise. Une délicate attention très appréciée: avoir une rose fraîchement coupée dans chaque chambre à notre arrivée. Nous nous sommes retrouvés à tellement profiter de la maison et du jardin que nous avons essayé d'y prendre tous nos dîners (soupers). Nos hôtes étaient très sympathiques jamais intrusifs et nous ont fourni de merveilleuses suggestions en termes de sites à visiter dans la région. Nous avons planifié une journée sur Paris et les deux propriétaires nous ont aidés à nous fournir un planning solide pour optimiser notre temps là-bas pour nos neveux qui n'y étaient jamais allés. Nous recommanderons certainement cette destination à nos amis et à nos proches et nous essaierons même de revenir dans un avenir pas trop lointain. Merci. PS : La douche est super mais demandez l'astuce pour la mettre en route !
Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine dans votre maison des plus charmante. Le temps a été parfait et nos enfants de 2 et 5 ans ont profité au maximum de votre piscine et de votre joli jardin. Nous aimerions revenir bientôt!
Ma famille et moi avons passé une semaine fabuleuse à la Maison de Saint-Jean. La maison est spacieuse et bien équipée dans un endroit calme avec un accès facile aux lieux d'intérêt. Il a de grands lits. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la grande piscine qui est bien équipée avec des parasols et un barbecue. Il y a un bon restaurant à quelques pas. La maison a également une vue imprenable.
We were not too familiar with the region, but since we live in a highly fast-paced city, we knew we wanted a tranquil and somewhat less-touristy vacation spot surrounded by nature. Through an amazing agency, we were able to lease the cottage for two weeks in late August and had an amazing time there. The property dates back to 1750 and is fully well-renovated - every detail has been taken into consideration so one is able to enjoy the experience of staying in an authentic French country house, but with modern amenities that enhance the original character of the property, rather than detract from it. The town and the people are very charming and there are restaurants, cafés, a grocery store, shops, butcher shops, etc. and an excellent choice of patisseries and boulangeries, which my husband happily frequented every morning in order to bring back fresh breakfast goodies! There is a weekly market in the town square, just a 5-minute drive from the house selling amazing produce and other artisanal delights! The town is within a comfortable drive from beautiful sites in neighboring Beynac, Sarlat and Bergerac, not counting other small picturesque places you find on the way. And if you haven't done much research, fret not because the owners of the home have compiled quite an impressive binder of information with all of the popular attractions and must-see places in the area. I do not over-exaggerate when I say the house is extremely well-equipped as if it were our own home! When we were not out sightseeing during the morning, we were downstairs preparing food in the kitchen, which may seem small in the photos, but it is spacious and the layout is wonderful - the oven and stove are ideal for seasoned cooks, there is a full-size dishwasher and tons of pots, pans, utensils, gadgets and appliances - all in superb condition, so we wanted for nothing. Overall, we had an excellent stay at Maison Bourg Cales, which I would highly recommend to anyone in search of an idyllic, quiet getaway in the beautiful French countryside.
Un moment mémorable et merveilleux dans cette demeure que vous avez si miraculeusement restaurée. Si nos visas ne sont pas annulés, nous reviendrons pour célébrer à nouveau la vie avec vous dans cet environnement splendide.
Notre séjour à La Valentine a été un véritable plaisir. Un accueil chaleureux de Pierre et Claire a donné le ton à un séjour, détendu et agréable. Les plats à la pizzeria de la place du village local étaient excellents avec des locaux et un personnel sympathiques. Les excursions à Cassis ont été très amusantes, y compris des excursions vers les plages et la location d'une planche derrière l'office du tourisme. La nourriture au yacht club était délicieuse et un peu plus détendue que l'agitation de la ville. Dans l'ensemble, un séjour mémorable.
Très bel séjour à la Palaisienne. La maison est bien équipée, jolie, propre et surtout très adaptée aux enfants, donc que du bonheur pour les parents. La propriétaire est très gentille et disponible pour toute nos questions. Nous n’avons qu’à remercier pour ces belles vacances.
C'est la plus belle maison que nous ayons jamais louée pour des vacances. Nous étions deux familles et cela a parfaitement fonctionné pour nous. Tant d'activités à la maison, y compris les vélos, baby-foot, tennis de table, pétanque, court de tennis et une belle piscine chauffée. Il y a même encore plus de commodités que les photos ne le montrent y compris une grande piscine et une salle de jeux / TV. Le domaine est superbe et la vue de la terrasse au coucher du soleil est un spectacle à voir! Plusieurs belles villes se trouvent à moins d'une demi-heure de trajet. Mike et Natalie, qui s'occupent de la maison pour le propriétaire, habitent à quelques kilomètres de distance, toujours agréables, ils ne ménagent jamais leurs efforts, superbe maison, rien a redire! Ce fut un privilège de pouvoir séjourner ici pendant une semaine. Une pure détente. Nous avons passé des vacances très spéciales, encore une fois, Pure France nous a fait honneur.
Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine de vacances à 2 familles. La villa est superb, bien équipée et entretenue. La piscine chauffée est vraiment un plus, les enfants en ont bien profité. Les propriétaires, qui habitent à proximité, sont sympathiques et disponibles. Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir si l'occasion se présente. Nous remanions vivement cette location.
Villa Genêts is a beautiful villa close to the village of Magagnosc . It has a lovely outdoor dining area which has amazing panoramic views of the Bay of Cannes, perfect for alfresco dining and enjoying the local wines. The house combines both elegance and comfort with a fabulous swimming pool. The pool has loungers for basking in the sun and has a seating area and outside bar ideal for pre-dinner sunset drinks. The house is close to Grasse and is in a superb location for exploring the delights of Provence, with easy access to the coast but also provides an escape from it all.
This beautifully renovated property is a real gem. The house is so warm and welcoming.
Nous avons passé un relaxant séjour dans votre maison, qui est incroyable. Elle est très bien équipée et superbement décorée.
Merci pour ces merveilleuses vacances dans votre magnifique château. Chaque instant a été agréable et je suis plein d'admiration pour la façon dont vous avez restauré la maison avec amour pendant 15 ans, l'atmosphère est très calme et relaxante. Ce fut certainement des vacances inoubliables, dans un cadre et une région de France si charmants.
Le Petit Pigeonnier est un lieu de villégiature enchanteur, en particulier pour une famille. Debbie et Rupert sont très accueillants et tout en restant totalement discrets, ne sont que trop disposés à donner une aide pratique et des suggestions si nécessaire. Le logement est spacieux avec une architecture intéressante, un mobilier confortable de bonne qualité et une cuisine bien équipée. Le jardin est agréable et varié, avec une jolie cour et différents espaces de détente ou de restauration. La piscine est magnifiquement entretenue et de bonne taille. Tout dans la propriété est bien entretenu et soigné - c'est un endroit charmant où séjourner.
We stayed in Jean and Martin’s beautiful Gite over the recent May Bank Holiday and we were absolutely delighted with our stay in every way we could possibly be! The Gite itself is immaculately appointed; it is beautifully in character and so generously equipped with all one needs for a seamless and relaxing stay. The kitchen boasts a washing machine and dishwasher - really useful for a longer stay . Great outside area with a bbq and an extra outside kitchen area, sink and 2nd fridge. The outside dining terrace is so comfortable and looks out on a beautifully maintained garden area with pool , sun chairs and gazebo - so comfy and relaxing. The bathroom is a very good size with both bath and shower. Upstairs are two generously sized bedrooms - one double and then a twin room.. Although my husband and I travelled with friends on this occasion, it was very apparent that the Gite is beautifully family friendly ; a cot and high chairs are also provided . The surrounding area is stunning - a few minutes walk to the local shops and cafes. Not far at all by car from many local beautiful areas and restaurants. Jean and Martin are perfect hosts - we honestly couldn’t ask for more and we will definitely be returning.
Thank you for sharing your fantastic home with us. Perfect location and layout of the house, with a great outside bathing area to watch the sunsets with a glass of wine. Laprade not to be missed. If you are prepared to drive a little further Issigeac (Noth East of Eymet) worth a visit with a good selection of bars, shops and restaurants. Big thanks to Olivia, always on hand to help. Duras... I love cooking, the kitchen is wonderful and the city's market place is perfect for organising the perfect dinner.. the perfect kitchen is ready to prepare the table... the outdoor patio... the splendid terrace with a view of the valley or a dip in the swimming pool whilst having a barbecue!
Une excellente semaine en famille avec des petits (2, 5, 9 ans) et des grands qui ont bien profité de la piscine, des jeux, ping pong, volley... du barbecue et des nombreuses possibilités qu’offre la maison pour déjeuner, dîner, se reposer. Les villages autour organisent des marches en soirée où l’on peut rencontrer des producteurs et goûter aux spécialités locales (foie gras, magrets, vins...) De nombreux châteaux à visiter, et ballade en canoë sur la Dordogne. Un bon séjour dans une belle région.
Magnifique séjour. Nous avons passé une très belle semaine. La villa est magnifique, très spacieuse, très bien équipée et agencée, il ne manquait rien. La situation géographique est parfaite. On est à 5 minutes de la plage d'Agosta, des restaurants. La résidence est très calme. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Emmanuelle. On y reviendra avec plaisir.
