Belle villa, piscine fabuleuse! Nous avons adoré notre séjour à la Maison de Saint-Jean. La villa est grande, belle et fraîche (le temps était CHAUD !) et extrêmement bien équipée. Les lits, en particulier, sont super confortables et nous avons vraiment apprécié les petites attentions supplémentaires, comme des piles de grandes serviettes de piscine à motif de lézard (en plus de serviettes de bain blanches et douces pour tout le monde), de magnifiques savons dans les salles de bain et une vaste gamme de cuisine équipement (dont des couteaux tranchants - hourra ! - et une machine à café). La piscine est de bonne taille (assez longue pour nager des longueurs "correctes") et c'était agréable de se baigner dans de l'eau douce et salée, plutôt que dans le chlore habituel à forte odeur. Nos ados ont adoré la table de ping-pong (et nous avons adoré qu'elle soit dans la cour, loin de nous !), l'énorme pouf, l'excellente connexion Wi-Fi et (nous avons honte) les chaînes de la BBC à la télé. Le restaurant du village (littéralement à 15 pas) est super - vraiment sympathique, bonne cuisine - et il y a beaucoup d'autres bons endroits pour manger dans les villes voisines (une fois que vous avez déterminé lesquels sont fermés quels jours - chacun est différent!). Je recommande vivement cette villa - nous ne pouvons honnêtement pas penser à une seule chose qui manquerait - et le très beau paysage qui l'entoure.
We have just had the most incredible holiday at Maison Jouas. The most beautiful French house in the most beautiful French landscape. The views were outstanding - the best we have found in France (we have done many holidays in French houses). The house itself has been elegantly styled and designed - everything is top quality. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with plenty of everything for a party of 13 - we never ran out of plates, glasses or cutlery! The house manager, Linda, was so helpful and always answered any queries promptly. The gardens were super and also beautifully designed and maintained. It had a boules area and a table tennis table and an amazing pizza oven - all were well used on our holiday - as was the well equipped laundry room! Definitely a 5* holiday and whoever owns this property has done an incredible job! We are already planning a return visit.
Very good welcome. Cleanliness of the house, space, functionality, pool safety, baby equipment, everything was there. The surrounding setting of course is wonderful. Quality restaurants close by. Family stay that we were able to fully enjoy. Recommended, to be repeated.
Une semaine incroyable passée en famille pour fêter un 50ème anniversaire. L'emplacement était parfait, calme mais proche des commodités telles qu'une belle boulangerie et des commerces. La propriété a tout : beaucoup de lieux où se détendre mais aussi beaucoup d'espace où se rejoindre et socialiser. Philippe était un hôte incroyable, il nous a présenté la propriété et l'emplacement, nous a apporté des pâtisseries deux fois pendant notre séjour. Belle visite des caves de Saint-Chinian et un dîner au Pourquoi Pas (qui était à tomber par terre pour ses produits et son emplacement). Je recommande vivement pendant votre séjour de faire une excursion en bateau sur le canal du Midi depuis Colombiers et une descente en kayak de l'Orb depuis Roquebun. Merci pour votre hospitalité.
Super stay, so much to see in the area. Lovely comfortable cottage, a home from home. The pool was a real treat and saw deers and cows around the grounds. Julian and Pascale are so lovely and it has been a pleasure to meet them. Favourite Moment: Saint Emilion, relaxing by the pool. Places We Recommend: Brantôme.

Nous avons passé 2 semaines merveilleuses à la Maison Baleyssagues dans le Lot-et-Garonne. Excellentes journées à Bordeaux et à la campagne. Le temps était idéal la plupart du séjour. Superbe piscine vraiment appréciée - la meilleure de toutes jusqu'à présent. Merci beaucoup à Frédéric d'avoir été un hôte aussi accueillant. À bientôt.
Beautifully located, right on the sea, very neat and very cozy even in bad weather. Lionel was via telephone and email at all times and has responded quickly to any questions. The concierge, who hands over the keys and makes the final cleaning is very personable and locally at all times. In short: everything perfect! We would definitely come back!
We have had a very relaxing and restful week here, with perfect weather. We loved the pool, playing table tennis and darts. The house has everything you could need and we have enjoyed having so much space inside and out! The surrounding area has lots to offer – Chauvigny is beautiful (we recommend The VeloRail) and we spent a wonderful afternoon kayaking at Angles sur L’Anglin.
Je tiens à vous remercier pour la belle semaine que nous avons passée au Château du Pic de Rigaud. Henrietta était charmante et extrêmement serviable, la demeure était belle sans être trop guindée. Les vues étaient incroyables aussi bien depuis la maison que de la piscine. Nous sommes partis revigorés.

Tout est fantastique, la maison est encore mieux que sur les photos et on remarque l'affection qu'on lui a donnée dans les moindres détails. Il a tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin et les appareils sont de grandes marques. Nous y sommes allés avec beaucoup d'enfants et ils ont passé un bon moment. Un grand merci aux hôtes et nous espérons revenir bientôt.

Un endroit incroyable. C'est un lieu merveilleux où séjourner et Michael et Denise nous ont très bien accueillis avec une hospitalité chaleureuse et attentionnée. La villa était impeccablement présentée avec tout ce dont on pourrait avoir besoin. La piscine est magnifique, chaude, propre et vous voudrez peut-être y passer beaucoup de temps. Stunning renovation, not a person or light in front of us, fresh linen, ample space to relax and a place where we all could unwind with the family, we will be back again. 100%.
Thank you again for opening your home to us this summer. We all really needed a vacation and the house was a superb way to relax and enjoy perfect weather. We all had a great time and fully enjoyed the house and the property. The overall layout of the house and inside the rooms is very thoughtful and was perfect for all of us. We had three families, 4 kids of different ages and a grandma. The different spaces allowed us to handle the different kid routines and moods in a way that gave everyone privacy. The kitchen is large and extremely well furnished. Makes it comfortable to cook for large groups. The pool is actually enormous. The way Patrick takes care of it seems to produce much better results than I have seen in other places: the water stayed clear all the way through. The pool house is an incredibly valuable area, especially because it is so well furnished, this is a serious luxury. The small supermarket in St-Antonin-du-Var is surprisingly good, if you are not a big cook you could totally live off this (they opened on Sunday am!). We also organised a Casino home delivery for the day before we arrived. We used P and Geraldine for 16 hours a week, to get the kitchen cleaned, make the beds, light housekeeping, remove rubbish, clean the BBQ and pool house areas and this made a huge positive difference.
We recently spent a week at Le Manoir des Sines and I have been trying to settle on the precise word to describe this property and our experience of it. That word is 'sublime'. Utterly sublime! We knew we were in for something special from the photo gallery and description of the property but nothing could prepare us for the magic of being there. Everything from the outdoor kitchen to the magnificent pool terrace to the cinema room to the resident nutri bullet– we had everything we wanted. We loved the white washed stone, the enormous sense of space that never made our group of nine feel lost, the gorgeous, rustic décor, the myriad paintings everywhere. Honestly, I can't imagine anything more sublime than a stay at Le Manoir des Sines.

We are finally home and now reflecting on happy memories of our wonderful holiday in France and particularly our 10 nights spent here. Where do we begin to ever thank you for all that you did and for making our holiday so special. We felt like we had our own personal butler looking after us throughout our stay. Even prior to our arrival we welcomed the emails, the ease of booking and then promptly replying to any query that we had , as well as the phone call to offer help and support the week before we were scheduled to arrive. We really appreciated the welcome basket of goodies and all the other little things that you had thoughtfully put in the fridge, making our arrival into the gîte a very warm and welcome one. Your 'blood, sweat and tears' have truly paid off as we could see the attention to detail that has gone in to making this a luxury gîte for your guests. We noticed the quality of furnishings and fittings, bed linen, sumptuous soft towels and then separate towels laid out for us by the pool, all of which made for an exciting stay ahead! The beds were extremely comfortable and accompanied by the peace and tranquility at night meant we both woke each morning feeling fully refreshed! We particularly enjoyed our time spent around the swimming pool and also using the outdoor kitchen/BBQ. Everything was spotlessly clean and we know that you ensured the pool area was cleaned down for us every morning. We were blessed with good weather too. The views from the terrace were stunning and we never tired from sitting there overlooking the local Cuzorn area and the valley beyond. It was a pleasure getting to know you and hearing about your journey from Essex to Lot-et-Garonne. For us, as first guests it was a privilege staying at Lasserre and we will be talking about you and our holiday for years to come. I equally hope that for you and Kate your first guests did not let you down and we have left a wonderful impression on you too! We sincerely hope that you are rewarded for the fruits of your labour and whilst we would like you to have a busy season, just secretly we would like to keep this little bit of heaven purely for us!
Nous avons vécu une expérience unique dans ce lieu très privé et exceptionnel. Un endroit idéal pour se ressourcer et profiter de moments mémorables en famille. La piscine est impressionnante et les lumières y créent une atmosphère magique. Vous êtes en pleine nature mais au sein d'un cadre de la plus haute qualité.
Nous venons de rentrer d'un mois en France où nous avons séjourné au Domaine de Laure. Nous avons passé un séjour tout simplement agréable. Avant de partir, nous avions quelques réserves sur le fait que la propriété était attenante à la maison des propriétaires. Nous accordons une grande importance à l'intimité et l'expérience nous a montré que cela peut être parfois compromis. En fait, il s'est avéré que nous avions le meilleur des deux mondes - de l'aide chaque fois que nous en avions besoin - Pierre et Benedict étaient charmants - et une intimité totale le reste du temps. La maison est confortable, propre et bien équipée. Les lits king size et la télévision anglaise étaient un bonus. La piscine était propre et bien entretenue. Mais pour nous, c'était l'emplacement et la paix totale qui étaient particulièrement spéciaux - encore mieux que sur les photos. La vue était magnifique et le terrain très spacieux. La seule intrusion était le doux tintement des clochettes des chèvres... magique ! Nous n'hésitons pas à recommander vivement le Domaine de Laure.
We had a lovely holiday here ! The place was beautifully quiet and well-equipped. Pau is definitely worth a visit with wonderful restaurants. We had a great stay and are heading home fully recharged.
We have had such a wonderful holiday in your wonderful house. We've thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the fresh toys! Thank you ever so much as well for the wine and cakes which were lovely. We wish you all the best and hope to return to France soon!
In June, we stayed for a fortnight at L'Oliveraie. In the middle of the vineyards. Plenty of peace, space and beautiful views. The pool is great and beautiful views there too.
Wow! what a start to the summer. Very hot, lovely weather, plums aplenty (from garden trees), walks to Eglise de Senezelles, daily visits to the bakery in Cancon, fab Monday markets, much swimming, pool/snooker, BBQs, card games, a very dramatic thunder storm and 18 wonderful books (from the Bosc Grand shelves) read collectively. The stuff of family holiday dreams. We hope to be back!

Nous avons passé un fabuleux séjour à la propriété. Les meilleures vues qui soient et la demeure est agréable et confortable. La piscine était formidable et offrait encore davantage de vues spectaculaires. Merci Henrietta et Peter pour cet accueil chaleureux.
Belle maison, bel endroit dans un excellent emplacement pour nous permettre de revisiter nos endroits préférés dans la région. Le meilleur restaurant sur des kilomètres est La Maison à Tourbes. Merci beaucoup.
