Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour et la maison a très bien fonctionné pour nous 4. Jardin et piscine charmants. Les garçons ont adoré le tennis de table, le bar et la piscine.
Merci pour votre accueil chaleureux et pour les très bonnes conditions offertes par la maison pour notre séjour. Nous y avons passé de très agréables vacances en famille!! Et encore félicitations pour la métamorphose de la maison après travaux, elle est juste magnifique :) Au plaisir.
Thank you so much for restoring this beautiful château, having impeccable taste and letting us share your wonderful home. It far exceeded our expectations! We came here for my 60th birthday and danced (in the hall!) till the small hours, played games in the pool, badminton at night, ate, drank and enjoyed the amazing homely atmosphere of this elegant place. It could not have been better!
We have had another wonderful stay at Villa Gailinette. This is a place where you can feel at home and out of your day to day life at the same time! Thank you so much for all the comfort provided... nothing is missing, all you need is there including peace and beautiful weather.
Thank you Corelle and Stephen for a wonderful stay in your beautiful cottage. We loved the peace and quiet, cycling around the quiet lanes and watching the kingfishers flying in and out of their nests at the lake. We found it all so relaxing and tranquil and would love to return again. Thank you also for the welcome treats and the lovely chats with you both. Colombat Cottage is a very special place.
Nous avons passé une agréable quinzaine ici à Bessan. La maison était confortable et paisible. Le temps a été magnifique pendant tout notre séjour, contrairement au Royaume-Uni ! Nous avons apprécié les villes voisines, notamment Agde. Nous nous souviendrons de ces vacances et ne voulons pas rentrer à la maison cet après-midi. Merci beaucoup.
Merveilleux. Nous avons passé un séjour magnifique dans une très belle et agréable maison. Tout y est bien pensé dans le moindre detail. Nos hôtes sont charmants. Je les remercie vivement pour tout. Nous avons adoré ces moments suspendus dans le temps. Un petit havre de paix.
We have just returned from a fabulous week at Mas des Rivailles. The property is located along a quiet lane and for the majority of the time all you could hear were the birds singing. We have stayed in the local area previously but there were still places we wanted to visit. However we were lucky to have superb weather and we decided to stay at the villa most days as we just did not want to leave the pool and relaxing atmosphere.The salt water pool is definitely the best one we have had so far. The villa is well equipped and has everything you could possibly need. It was spotlessly clean and the gardens are well kept. We would like to give a special thank you to Frédéric who met us on arrival and was so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. He gave us a guided tour and explained how everything worked. It certainly made for a great start to our holiday. A delicious and generous welcome pack was waiting for us on our arrival too. We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing break.
Our second stay at 'Mel's place', the first was in 2012. Returned with 2 more grand children and a grand son's girlfriend. Have stayed in many houses over the years - this is by far the best. Brilliant pool for everyone, loads of space for the children to play and a secret garden if you want to get away from it. We didn't go far - we just enjoyed the opportunity for us all to get together for a relaxing holiday. Also there is so much equipment and toys for the children - Mel's thought of everything, an excellent host.
Very enjoyable, well kitted and at a logged location for a lazy 'by the pool' sort of break. Love the poolhouse area and very nice interior decor. Gary and Louise were most helpful and we had a wonderful relaxing time. Monflanquin was good fun and we enjoyed the day and night markets. Great for all ages.

Kids really enjoyed the grounds and plenty to keep them entertained even when the weather was not as nice. So much space to run around and explore. Great pool, very clean. Owners went above and beyond to help us, even offering to give us a lift when needed. Welcoming and friendly reception from Nick and Takayla - really helpful and on hand when needed.
Spent a weekend here in September 2023. The domaine has been very skilfully and tastefully converted into a very luxurious residence with swimming pool! The overwhelming tranquillity, the beautiful gites, the stunning surroundings combined with the care of the perfect hosts ensures that you can completely unwind and enjoy to the max! You will want to come back here again and again!
Nous avons passé un fabuleux séjour à la propriété. Les meilleures vues qui soient et la demeure est agréable et confortable. La piscine était formidable et offrait encore davantage de vues spectaculaires. Merci Henrietta et Peter pour cet accueil chaleureux.

Nous avons passée un excellent séjour au Mas Orbiel. Superbe endroit pour accueillir un grand groupe. Les propriétaires ont été très serviables et chaleureux.
Beautifully renovated, well equipped house, ideal for family / friends gathering. Three quite separate sets of 2 double/ twin bedrooms with en-suites and seating areas, so plenty of privacy. Well equipped kitchen (loads of fridge space) and separate bar / fridge/ dishwasher area. Plenty of seating and dining space both inside and out on two terraces.Kids loved the pool and outside space, playing volley ball in the garden. We enjoyed the views and quiet surroundings. My parents enjoyed the local towns and villages; and the cakes! Daily cleaning included by lovely housekeeper/ gardener who live next door. We didn't know they were there except when we needed them. The area is beautiful if you have the energy to travel, Beaune and Dijon are worth a visit and the nearby Couches with a lovely château has a delicious Patisserie / Boulangerie. We took the train from Chagny to Beaune to visit the Hospice and enjoyed a wine tasting. There are lots of vineyards to visit and taste at, we wished we'd organised some tours before we arrived as the owners can advise on this. You will not be disappointed booking this house, we have stayed in many houses in France over the last 30 years and this is undoubtedly the loveliest. We hope to return.
The house is a magical island setting in the countryside, with a wonderful rural and secluded ambiance. The size and comfort are simply perfect. I loved the morning runs in nature and the breakfasts on the terrace. Carelle and her husband are warm and supportive owners. The three dogs present themselves from time to time as friendly travelers. A great experience.
You have created a very special place not only for yourselves but others to share: It's an oasis of peace and relaxation in an increasingly demanding and noisy world. Thank you for your discreet and friendly hospitality. We hope to see you again soon.
Des vacances fantastiques dans ce fantastique mini-château. Étant récemment arrivé de Californie et séjournant chez nos beaux-parents français, ce furent des vacances vraiment incroyables. Beaucoup de repas, de verres, de baignade, de tourisme et bien sûr de ping-pong. À bientôt.
