A lovely place to stay. Hospitable reception. Beautiful surroundings within easy reach of Orange, Avignon, Pont du Gard and Uzès. Highly recommended.
We have just returned from two weeks at La Roquette and had an amazing time. We are a group of 10, two parents, 4 adult daughters and now their partners who have been holidaying annually for 34 years now and I have to say this place is hard to beat. The setting is beautiful . Deer and hares in the fields and birds as the only sound. The house itself is so well equipped with plenty of space inside and outside to be together or to seperate and a wonderful pool which was very much needed in a heatwave of 40 degrees!! We did a wonderful vineyard tour/tasting at Domaine Bois de Devès with a lovely English wine maker, Nick Smith,and visited several recommended restaurants, the local Burger bar being a huge favourite…only 6 mins away. We will definitely return in the future when it’s cooler to explore more. Many thanks to all at Pure France, to Patricia the owner and Andrew (the pool guy) for always being on hand for questions and to help. Highly recommended!
Thank you for much for another wonderful stay at your beautiful house. Our new home away from home! This time coming back in the summer we got to enjoy time by the pool with breathtaking views, monopoly in the living room, TV nights upstairs and dining under the stars outside. Your home is special to us and we always want to come back and never want to leave! It feels as if time stands still and our holidays feel so long and luxurious every time we are here.
What a beautiful location, breathtaking. A very warm welcome, you feel at home because of the fine reception. The hosts help you with everything you could want. The gîte is also spick and span and meets all your needs. Had a very relaxing holiday. Exactly as it should be! We recommend it to everyone and will definitely come here again.
We arrived at a large house that matched well and even more to what the photos showed. This is the first time we have found a vacation rental with so many dishes and kitchen supplies. As we were a large family with a few small children, this environment greatly favored the well-being of our stay. We sincerely thank our host for this generous sharing.

Nous avons passé une semaine parfaite dans cette magnifique maison. Autant nous avons adoré sortir et nous promener, autant nous avons adoré passer des journées paresseuses autour de la piscine - cela a été un véritable défi de la laisser ! Nous y sommes parvenus à quelques reprises et entre nous, les temps forts ont été de vraies balades à vélo sur des routes de campagne tranquilles, l'exploration de belles petites villes aux alentours, la visite incontournable d'un château (Chenonceau est un must - arrivez tôt) et bien sûr, le simple fait d'être en France. Merci de nous avoir permis d'entrer dans votre maison très spéciale - vous êtes des hôtes charmants et j'espère que nos chemins se croiseront à nouveau à l'avenir. Merci beaucoup!

Emplacement fabuleux avec des vues époustouflantes. Piscine magnifique et essentielle. Joli village avec un restaurant local. Fabuleuse carte de mets et vins au Domaine Gayda - à distance de marche également !

Fabulous house, beautifully decorated with everything we could possibly need for a lovely holiday. The pool and pool toys were a great hit with our 4 year old. We have holidayed numerous times in France and this was by far the best, from the welcoming email to the comfy beds and linen. Mark and Janet have made this a beautiful holiday home. We had a hot week and made the most of being at home! Thank you for a lovely stay! P.S. The Tuesday night market in Laparade was fun and definitely worth a visit! Our daughter loved her bedroom + the toys kept her occupied in the morning!
Je voulais juste dire que nous avions passé un fantastique séjour à La Pinède. Quelle jolie propriété située au cœur d'une si belle région, et vraiment très bien équipée. Dommage que nous n'ayons pas loué 3 semaines!

Our weeks stay at Les Marquises was exceptional, this is due to the skilful combination of old and new, colour and light, greenery and shadow combined in a tasteful and harmonious style that characterises the interior of the house and its domain. When you stay in such a place, even for only one week, a place that was restored, recreated and maintained with so much love, you can only love it back, the house, garden, the scenery creates a rare feeling of magic that will stay with us. We felt wonderful and grateful to be guests at the house. Thank you.
Une maison au calme très agréable pour un séjour en famille. Les enfants ont profité du très joli jardin, des jeux de ballon et de raquette. La terrasse est agréable pour les repas. La maison est idéalement conçue pour un espace intérieur calme et serein. Nous avons apprécié les excursions dans la région et notre tournoi de tennis.

Notre fils a adoré le trampoline et la piscine et nos filles ont adoré jouer sous les arbres ombragés de votre magnifique jardin. Les roses sont magnifiques et leur odeur a rempli nos journées paresseuses. Excellente maison, beau jardin, commodités fantastiques à proximité et nous avons vraiment apprécié Saumur aussi. We have spent two delightful weeks ago Maison Labarde belonging to Jean and Martin. Over 30 years we have stayed in more than a dozen properties in France and if we rated them all this would be at the top. It is in a part of France that we are familiar with and we enjoyed the local markets and the history of the bastide towns. A visit to a recently renovated château was well worth it. It was set in beautiful grounds with impressive pool and gazebo. As well as dining terrace and outdoor kitchen. The gite itself was roomy and very well equipped. We wanted for nothing. And it was certainly value for money. Jean and Martin were perfect hosts - just the right balance between being available when we needed them and leaving us to our privacy. I cannot end without mentioning Tanner the superb, well behaved, friendly, German Shepherd. We lost our hearts to him as well as this beautiful holiday home. We would happily return another year.
Beautifully renovated, well equipped house, ideal for family / friends gathering. Three quite separate sets of 2 double/ twin bedrooms with en-suites and seating areas, so plenty of privacy. Well equipped kitchen (loads of fridge space) and separate bar / fridge/ dishwasher area. Plenty of seating and dining space both inside and out on two terraces. Kids loved the pool and outside space, playing volley ball in the garden. We enjoyed the views and quiet surroundings. My parents enjoyed the local towns and villages; and the cakes! Daily cleaning included by lovely housekeeper/ gardener who live next door. We didn't know they were there except when we needed them. The area is beautiful if you have the energy to travel, Beaune and Dijon are worth a visit and the nearby Couches with a lovely château has a delicious Patisserie / Boulangerie. We took the train from Chagny to Beaune to visit the Hospice and enjoyed a wine tasting. There are lots of vineyards to visit and taste at, we wished we'd organised some tours before we arrived as the owners can advise on this. You will not be disappointed booking this house, we have stayed in many houses in France over the last 30 years and this is undoubtedly the loveliest. We hope to return.

We had an excellent stay in this beautiful house, charming and perfectly equipped. The swimming pool is very pleasant, the rooms to live and the rooms offer a very comfortable atmosphere. We were won over.
Nous voulions juste vous dire que tout va bien ici et que nous passons tous un merveilleux moment. Quelle fabuleuse maison, avec tant de caractère ! Cela fonctionne parfaitement pour nous : nous l'adorons complètement. Nous ne réalisons pas encore à quel point elle est bien conçue. Et nous nous amusons tellement dans la piscine. C'est l'endroit parfait pour nous ! De plus, je ne peux pas vous dire à quel point nous avons été touchés par votre brillante carte d'anniversaire et votre fabuleuse bouteille de champagne ! C’est une pensée tellement sympathique et tellement appréciée. Merci beaucoup!
Thank you for such an amazing holiday. It's been so peaceful and relaxing. We've loved your beautiful houser, grounds and pool. It's a really special place. We had a lovely day out in Bergerac a we swam at Lac de Pombonne which was lovely - just a few minutes drive away. We also had a nice evening in Périgueux. Mostly though we just enjoyed relaxing on the terrace by the pool! Thanks so much we hope to return.
Excellent. Tres belles prestations pour cette maison au calme pour se retrouver en famille. La piscine est très grande et avec une vue imprenable sur la nature et les vignes. La région est très belle et les alentours en valent la peine Nous avons passe de très bonnes vacances et Marie qui vous accueille est très agréable. Christiane, la propriétaire est au petit soin pour que votre séjour se passe au mieux. Les équipements dans la maison que se soit mobiliers ou coin cuisine sont au top.
Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique à la Villa Bellara. Jean-Luc est un hôte formidable et nous a tout expliqué dès notre arrivée. La villa est spacieuse et dispose de tous les équipements nécessaires. Son emplacement est idéal, pas besoin de voiture : boulangerie, supermarché, plage et restaurants sont accessibles à pied, tout comme la gare, qui permet un accès rapide et économique aux autres stations balnéaires de la côte. Je recommande vivement cette villa.
