Nous avons passé les vacances les plus fabuleuses. La Villa Montplaisir était parfaite - et si bien équipée. J'aurais aimé rester une autre semaine. La piscine et la table ombragée pour les petits déjeuners, déjeuners et dîners vont nous manquer.
Nous avons passé une superbe semaine. La maison est confortable et la piscine est joliment bien entretenue. Jean et Martyn sont accueillants et de bons conseils sur la région. Merci!
Fabulous house, beautifully decorated with everything we could possibly need for a lovely holiday. The pool and pool toys were a great hit with our 4 year old. We have holidayed numerous times in France and this was by far the best, from the welcoming email to the comfy beds and linen. Mark and Janet have made this a beautiful holiday home. We had a hot week and made the most of being at home! Thank you for a lovely stay! P.S. The Tuesday night market in Laparade was fun and definitely worth a visit! Our daughter loved her bedroom + the toys kept her occupied in the morning!
Nous avons passé une superbe semaine en France la semaine dernière et avons adoré le coach de tennis que Francesca nous a trouvé.
Lovely quiet gîtes with beautiful views over the wine fields. Close to Uzès, a very pretty historical market town (20 min. by car). The gîtes provide everything you need, i.e. comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, cosy sitting room and fully equipped kitchen. There is a swimming pool with lounge beds and our gîte (L'Oliveraie) even had a small private pool. The area is great for walk through the woods and over the wine field. There are restaurants in the area that are a short drive away. We had a great and relaxing time and will definitely be back!
Wow, wow and wow! The views are wonderful with the gorgeous sunsets. The whole family have loved all the facilities, particularly swimming in the multi-coloured lights at night.
We very much enjoyed our visit to this area with its wonderful beaches and gorgeous scenery. Your warm welcome on our arrival helped us to settle in to this beautiful villa and it is obvious you have spend many years in furnishing it. A home of which to be justly proud.

Beautiful château and very well maintained grounds which are well equipped to prevent children from being bored. The kids absolutely loved the pool and having the shaded area was brilliant for everyone. Everything you could need for a fortnightwith the family - our party included toddlers, a newborn baby and grandparents. the daily housekeeping service was much appreciated. Would definitely recommend a catered evening (we chose Indian food). Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home. We hope to be back.
Wouah ! Quelle fabuleuse semaine nous avons eue ! Une si belle région à explorer et la maison et la piscine étaient magnifiques. Il y a tellement de choses à faire, je suis sûr que nous reviendrons pour d'autres aventures, je l'espère. Nous avons tout aimé, surtout la piscine :)

Merci pour ces merveilleuses vacances reposantes. Votre maison, vos jardins et les environs sont tous spectaculaires. Nous avons beaucoup aimé pique-niquer dans l'arrière jardin et nos enfants ont adoré la cabane dans les arbres. Les temps forts ont été le marché de Saumur le samedi matin. Le dîner à La Licorne Fontervaud, le Château d'Ussé, le Zoo BioParc de Doce et les jardins du Château de Villandry. Aussi une visite avec les enfants de l'autre côté de la route pour voir les lapins à l'invitation de vos sympathiques voisins. Merci beaucoup.
One cannot believe it can look as the pictures... in fact it is better. Everything absolutely first class and in a great location. We traveled as a family and the place managed to be both romantic and perfect for children. Cannot recommend highly enough. Six stars.
Beautiful location, spacious rooms with large estate and very friendly owners and staff. They do their utmost to make the stay perfect. Definitely recommended.

Nous venons en France depuis près de 20 ans et nous reviendrons sans hésiter dans cette villa. Merci pour ces belles vacances.
What an amazing week in a stunning home. The house is exquisitely designed and the attention to detail is fantastic. The views are beautiful and the area so quiet and peaceful. I slept in one of the bedrooms on the ground floor and had the best night's sleep I've had for years… the mattress is heavenly. Not many people can lie in bed watching red squirrels leaping through the surrounding trees can they! The small kitchen area on the ground floor along with the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms means the whole floor can be very separate and quiet if two families were to share the house. The middle floor is a great entertaining space with a spotless and very modern kitchen with dining / living area leading out to the garden and pool. It was a real treat to have the local bar / restaurant within a short walking distance. It's very easy to sit and enjoy the local wine! The one thing I hadn't bargained for was the abundance of wildlife, although with the roads being so quiet I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised. The red squirrels and deer can be seen from the balconies and fantastic infinity pool overlooking the valley. The cushions for the outdoor furniture are very comfy. Once again, there are various areas to sit / eat and enjoy the garden if different age groups or families stay here. So to sum it all up…a fab holiday home in beautiful surroundings – 10 / 10. PS If you attempt the puzzle in the games cupboard… start it as soon as you arrive because it's tricky but irresistible!
Lovely. Brilliant for kids and enjoyed walking in the area. Pool and playroom were a big hit. Catering delicious. Fantastic service. On hand when needed but not always around which is great. Really enjoyed it. Thanks.
Fantastic time in this great house and location. 2 weeks of rest, relaxation and fun with the kids and extended family. Thank you. What a wonderful place! So much for the kids to do - swimngs, slide, trampoline, swimming and may runing races, lots of yumy wines and cheese. Two scrumptious meals cooked by Tim and Ali. Very tempted to return next year! Nous avons adoré le piano et en avons joué tous les jours. Nous avons également adoré la piscine car elle très bonne tout en restant rafraîchissante. Merci Frédéric, jolie maison, faut-il vraiment rentrer?
We had a fabulous holiday, thank you ! What a lovely location; very peaceful but within easy access of a variety of places to visit - Nice, Saint Paul de Vence, Vence, Grasse and everything to offer along the French Riviera. The house is large and comfortable with space for families or groups of friends to spread out. There is ample outside space to enjoy - around the pool, behind the house to have shade and beside the kitchen for a morning cup of coffee. The view from the pool is stunning allowing one to see a huge distance along the coast - that will live long in our memory!
The place was amazing, we went with 2 other families 6 adults 6 kids under 5. Loads of games, toys, trampoline and climbing frame to keep the kids entertained. Lovely spaces for adults and the pool was brilliant. Looking to book again next year. Thank you for a great week.
Story book house in a story book setting... We very happily spent the month of August in this charming, comfortable and clean Provençal house. Although it's only minutes from marvellous food shopping and useful services (super market, cafés, restaurants, fitness center, bank, etc. ) it feels private and a world apart. The owner was unfailingly gracious and readily available by phone or email to her London location. As for the world famous village of Gordes and the whole Luberon area... it's one of our most favorite places on the planet.

C'était très relaxant et paisible, et nous avons adoré les moments passés en famille autour de la piscine ! Nous avons passé deux semaines merveilleuses à la Maison Carcavi. Le logement était bien équipé, spacieux et très confortable. Debbie était une hôte fantastique et nous a vraiment bien accueillis. Elle était là pour nous aider sans être envahissante. C'était un plaisir de l'avoir à disposition pour nous conseiller sur les sorties, les restaurants, etc. Les jardins et la piscine étaient fantastiques et bien entretenus. La région est magnifique et offre de nombreuses possibilités d'exploration, mais nous n'avons pas l'impression d'être sur un sentier touristique fréquenté. Nous avons apprécié les marchés locaux, les promenades, les activités sur la rivière et la découverte des villages et des vignobles locaux. Nous recommandons vivement et espérons y retourner bientôt.
Nous sommes venus à la Maison Baleyssagues tant de fois et encore une fois, ce fut un moment merveilleux. Il y a tellement de choses pour s'y divertir et rassembler la famille. Je ne veux pas partir mais je dois rentrer à la maison.
Everything about this stay was perfect! The location (in a small village which boasts a lovely hotel / bar / restaurant, a shop in which you can buy all you need, local wine producers and an organic butchers lorry visiting twice a week) to close proximity to beautiful walking routes and access to nearby towns with great markets, to the house itself which is the epitome of Provence living. Comfortable, thoughtfully restored and furnished and with every amenity you could wish for. The outside areas are great too - a beautiful pool area and several eating / barbecue and relaxation areas to take advantage of the sun or shade as you need. Perfect for large family gatherings as all the rooms are en suit and private except one which has an adjoining room perfect for those with young children although it still has 2 bathrooms! The house and grounds are looked after by a lovely couple who are on hand to help if needed with taxi's advice etc. We will be back!
J'ai passé une semaine au Petit Pigeonnier en août et j'ai passé un merveilleux séjour. La propriété était impeccable et extrêmement bien aménagée. L'emplacement était magnifique et a dépassé toutes mes attentes. Je tenais également à vous faire part de l'hospitalité exceptionnelle de Debbie, notre hôte. Des yaourts maison étaient proposés le matin et une séance de yoga privée était organisée. Des recommandations de restaurants et de lieux à visiter ont été formulées sans aucune insistance ni atteinte à notre vie privée.
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. It provided everything we needed for our family reunion of 3 families – fabulous pool, large garden, lots of outside sitting/dining areas, beautiful and spacious interiors, a large and very well equipped kitchen (we loved the ice dispenser!). The children (1-5) loved the nearby lake where they paddled, splashed about and built sandcastles. Plenty of shade and grass and a good restaurant. We had amazingly good weather so were mostly outdoors but if one hit a rainy day, there is plenty of entertainment (great dvd collection) inside. All in all, a very happy choice, enjoyed by young and old! The Bruns family from Germany, Scotland and Ireland
