Nous avons passé une bonne semaine au calme dans un cadre propice à la récupération et au repos. Agréable séjour que nous recommandons.
La Villa du Château est un lieu de séjour exceptionnel. La communication avec Claire a été excellente : elle s'est pliée en quatre pour nous garantir un séjour merveilleux et sans le moindre souci. L'hébergement est exceptionnel : très spacieux, avec de nombreux espaces pour s'asseoir et se détendre, tous dotés de nombreuses places assises. La cuisine est extrêmement bien équipée, et disposer de deux combinés réfrigérateur-congélateur a été un véritable atout. L'espace piscine est vaste et très intime, et la cuisine d'été avec barbecue était idéale pour les repas du soir. La vue depuis la terrasse est magnifique : elle offre un cadre superbe aussi bien pour le petit-déjeuner que pour les soirées, lorsque le soleil se couche et que les couleurs du paysage se transforment. Un supermarché de taille moyenne se trouve à seulement 5 minutes en voiture, et de nombreuses petites boutiques sont accessibles en quelques minutes de marche. Nous étions un groupe de 11 personnes et avons passé une semaine fantastique. Je recommande vivement de visiter le château ainsi que le marché gourmand du jeudi soir en juillet et août (prévoyez de l'argent liquide), car c'était une expérience vraiment très agréable.

From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the sheer beauty and tranquility of the place. With its origins dating back to the 13th century, the château has been lovingly restored with modern comforts, making it feel both grand and welcoming. The spacious interiors, well-equipped kitchen, and multiple lounges gave us room to relax while the children played safely. The setting is stunning; panoramic views of rolling hills, vineyards, and pure countryside bliss. It felt wonderfully remote and peaceful, yet we were still close enough to explore local villages and markets when we wanted a little outing. Limoux was right on the doorstep (12 minutes by car) with a local market, boulangeries, patisseries and Supermarchés. A Special Thanks to Quentin, the owner, who was absolutely charming. He made us feel genuinely welcome and went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed, including fresh pastries on our first morning. His passion for the château and its history really added to the experience, it’s clear he’s poured his heart into the place. The only thing we could fault was the weather which was out of our control! It meant that the pool, which wasn't heated, was slightly 'fresh' but still bearable!
Le Domaine de Nérige est magnifique. La maison est très bien équipé et très grande. Nous étions 14 amis et avons pu profitez de cette endroit chaleureux et propice à la fête. Sandie et disponible tout en étant très discrète. Notre séjour était vraiment parfait !

Nous avons passé de nombreux jours dans la belle piscine et avons également beaucoup aimé explorer les magnifiques environs, y compris Saumur. Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour et serions ravis de revenir.
Très belle villa rénovée avec beaucoup de goût, nous y avons passé 3 jours en famille très agréables. Le plus est d’avoir une salle d’eau et un WC pour chaque chambre. Situation idéale pour se reposer et se balader le long ou sur le canal du midi Nous reviendrons avec plaisir
Your house is lovely and we all had a relaxing and enjoyable week. I think I can safely say that in all the years of hiring holiday accommodation in France we have not stayed in such a well appointed and well equipped property. We would all have happily stayed for another week. Jez and Bridget were a pleasure to deal with, very accommodating and very helpful. Thank you
We came here to celebrate a couple of family birthdays and get some time together. From the moment we walked in the door we quickly came to realise what an amazing place this is. The view from the kitchen window (bu the sink) literally brought my sister to tears. ... in a very positive way. This week has allowed us to explore the area to some degree, but with so much on offer around and in the property, there was little incentive to go anywhere. The difficulty now will be to keep this gem of a property a secret from others, as we will undoubtedly tell everyone about this fantastic place. Thank you for so generously sharing your house. This property has the WOW factor! We were blown away by it when we arrived. It is beautifully renovated and the grounds and surrounding countryside are stunning. The main house is very spacious with a large living room, TV lounge room and a big kitchen. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything that you might need (including 2 great coffee machines and a pantry with essentials that you can use). Also, a lovely large dining table. Upstairs there are 4 big airy bedrooms with very comfy beds, great linen and towels. Plus 3 pristine luxe bathrooms. The views out of every side of the house are idyllic. The outside space too is fantastic. Great terraces for eating / relaxing on, beautiful warm clean swimming pool with comfy loungers, herb garden, fire pit, well equipped gym, pétanque court, vineyard, landscaped gardens. The gîte across from the main house is also lovely and provides 3 extra bedrooms plus additional bathroom, kitchen and lounge. We enjoyed our stay enormously and appreciated the level of detail and care that the owners have put into this house.
Charming place and a charming host. Christophe was so friendly and helpful to us. The house had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. I really recommend this place as a wonderful holiday getaway.

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine de vacances à 2 familles. La villa est superb, bien équipée et entretenue. La piscine chauffée est vraiment un plus, les enfants en ont bien profité. Les propriétaires, qui habitent à proximité, sont sympathiques et disponibles. Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir si l'occasion se présente. Nous remanions vivement cette location.
Thank you so much Thierry and Véronique for making us so welcome in your beautiful house. We've thoroughly enjoyed a mixture of exploring and relaxing. Highlights have included the great week in Chauvigny (as well as exploring the medieval town), canoeing along a scenic stretch of the river at Angles sur L’Anglin, and exploring the châteaux. Afterwards, a day trip to Poitiers and an excellent visit to Futuroscope. We finished each day relaxing in the pool and playing boules. All in all, a wonderful week in a beautiful area.

Un grand merci pour le temps que vous nous avez consacré en nous accompagnant à la cave Les Jamelles et pour le bon vin offert aussi. Nous avons tous apprécié la belle décoration à l'intérieur du château - papiers peints uniques, draps luxueux, etc. Être entouré de vignes et de jardins avec une belle piscine enrichit l'ambiance.

We have so enjoyed our week here in our very own secret garden. Who would imagine there would be such a magical place waiting for us, just a second from the road? After many moments of uncertainty, it has been a huge tonic to relax in the sunshine in this beautiful garden and enjoy relaxing with our daughters. We haven’t explored very much beyond the Loft, but the countryside is beautiful, the wine and food delicious and the canoeing trip exhilarating and at times a little scary! Karen and Russell are the perfect hosts - always present but never in your space. They have created a perfect holiday home - immaculate and brilliantly equipped, and the fridge and cupboards generously filled to enhance your welcome and stay. We have enjoyed hours by the perfect pool and will fondly remember our 2021 say here. Hopefully we will be back! Thank you, Karen and Russell for everything.

Emplacement charmant avec une vue magnifique dans un environnement calme et paisible. Installations fantastiques, la maison avait tout le nécessaire et plus encore, une superbe piscine, agréable et chaleureuse, bien entretenue et appréciée par toute la famille. We stayed at this beautiful place with 10 adults and one child. The house is large and magnificent with every comfort thought of. Beautifully decorated and everything of quality. The heated swimming pool was amazing. Jim was charming and helped us organise the stay and the housekeeper gave us a very warm welcome. We will definitely be coming back for future family reunions.
Excellent séjour chez vous, tout est admirablement organisé pour bien vivre rapidement la maison et la région. La piscine est une merveille. Le jardin et la maison sont bien pensés avec la superbe vue, sans vis à vis. La maison est en même temps très proche du village, à 10min à pied, donc le meilleur des deux mondes. Bravo pour les notes, informations, jeux etc. Tout est très pratique et facile à l'emploi.
Belle maison, bel endroit dans un excellent emplacement pour nous permettre de revisiter nos endroits préférés dans la région. Le meilleur restaurant sur des kilomètres est La Maison à Tourbes. Merci beaucoup.
On arrival at the Loft du Vigneron what a wonderful welcome we received, then only to find a delightfully designed, comfortable and well thought out accommodation. Thank you for being such great hosts. We are in awe of what you have achieved so far and wish you every success in completing this wonderful restoration and adventure in a beautiful part of France.
La villa est une maison très confortable et spacieuse. Les meubles et les équipements sont d'excellente qualité. Chaque chambre a sa propre douche/salle de bain et toilettes ainsi que son propre espace salon/repos. Un bel avantage pour une grande famille, un groupe d'amis ou deux familles partageant le logement. L'espace extérieur est très agréable et privé. Il y a beaucoup d'espace où s'installer et se détendre. L'emplacement de la villa est idéal pour visiter les sites de la Côte d'Azur. Les transports en commun sont accessibles à pied depuis la villa, tout comme les commerces pour les besoins quotidiens. Les propriétaires sont sympathiques et serviables.
Lézigno affords an extraordinary slice of regal French splendor - a small palace rather than a château - beautiful gardens and pool. Peaceful and elegant. The staff, Thierry and Nadine were kind and helpful.
We’ve had a wonderful time thank you. Yes, it did get pretty hot last week, but coming from England we shouldn’t moan..! It’s such a stunning location and the house is very comfortable and cool in the heat. We really don’t want to go home but I’m afraid we have to… Maybe we can come again next summer?
