L'endroit est absolument magnifique, les photos ne lui rendent pas suffisamment justice. Le terrain est spacieux, il y a un immense jardin avec tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin en termes de piscine, barbecue, aire de jeux, etc. Vous avez votre propre allée et un parking couvert.
Nos vacances à La Charmante Distillerie ont été absolument superbes ! Mark et Gary ont été des hôtes exceptionnels et ont rendu notre expérience inoubliable, de la réservation jusqu'à notre départ ! Nous y retournerons sans hésiter, car c'est de loin le meilleur endroit où nous ayons séjourné. L'attention portée aux détails était exceptionnelle et nous avons été très à l'aise du début à la fin. Ils ont tout mis en œuvre pour que cette villa de vacances soit incroyable et ils ont fait tout leur possible pour nous satisfaire. C'est un 5 étoiles et plus à tous points de vue. Une magnifique villa dans un endroit calme avec tant de choses à découvrir. Merci Mark et Gary d'avoir fait de nos vacances en famille un moment inoubliable, et nous reviendrons bientôt pour en profiter à nouveau !
Wonderful. It felt very safe for the little ones who enjoyed being able to roam free. Very well maintained and everything well thoughout. Perfect set up - a real home from home! We had everything we needed. The pool was a hit with adults and kids alike. The canapés were articularly good and greatly appreciated, they were tailored for a dietary requirements. Briliant week.
Thank you for a fabulous stay in Vouvant and all the kind hospitality you showed us. The kids have loved having the fabulous pool all to themselves. We've had great trips out to the Isle de Ré and the beaches. We are sad to be leaving !
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette demeure historique, ancienne orangerie du château bâtie sur les remparts du XIVeme siècle. En plus du charme de la maison, celle ci est très bien organisée autour de différents espaces qui multiplient la diversité des expériences. Que ce soit en famille ou entre amis, chacun a son espace tout en offrant beaucoup de convivialité. La maison est très bien équipée, du Ping Pong à la raclette en passant par une cuisine avec beaucoup d électroménager. La literie est remarquable. Enfin l endroit est à la fois un havre de paix et sa proximité directe avec le village et ses nombreuses activités estivales en font un endroit unique.
One of the best houses we've stayed in. Wow, what a holiday! We've just returned from a fantastic week at the house and all 14 of us have nothing but praise for the whole week. The house has been beautifully renovated and is perfectly equipped in every way. We ranged from 75 to 1 yr old and had plenty of space for us all. From the crisp white linen on the very comfy beds to the pizza oven, full sized bar, the lovely sun loungers and very well equipped kitchen... We couldn't have asked for more. The kids loved picking tomatoes and lettuce from the kitchen garden and my sister and I loved the fabulous gym with amazing views across the valley. In the run up to the holiday, I had all my questions answered by Mark and George was on hand for anything we needed during our stay. We're already planning our return visit next year, hopefully for a couple of weeks as one just isn't enough!

Nous avons passé de nombreuses heures heureuses à profiter de votre magnifique jardin et de votre piscine, tandis que la découverte de la campagne environnante à vélo a été idyllique. Les points forts ont certainement été la visite du château Azay le Rideau, le zoo de Beauval (à une heure et demie en voiture) et un déjeuner merveilleusement paisible au bord de la rivière sur La Route du Sel. Merci pour votre incroyable hospitalité, votre générosité et votre accueil. Nous espérons vraiment revenir l'année prochaine!
Everything you would need is provided for a perfect stay in this part of southern France. A range of seating areas throughout the garden and the pool were delightful. The villa was very well equipped and comfortable The hosts were charming, friendly and helpful, but very discrete.
We had a wonderful time thank you - it was our second visit: the house is great and we love the location. Ali was particularly helpful with restaurant recommendations and places to go too.
We’ve had an amazing time with beautiful weather and an amazing pool to cool down in! The location is perfect to get around and do some sightseeing. We recommend Perigueux, Brantome and market day in Riberac. Your house is one we won’t forget.

We are finally home and now reflecting on happy memories of our wonderful holiday in France and particularly our 10 nights spent here. Where do we begin to ever thank you for all that you did and for making our holiday so special. We felt like we had our own personal butler looking after us throughout our stay. Even prior to our arrival we welcomed the emails, the ease of booking and then promptly replying to any query that we had , as well as the phone call to offer help and support the week before we were scheduled to arrive. We really appreciated the welcome basket of goodies and all the other little things that you had thoughtfully put in the fridge, making our arrival into the gîte a very warm and welcome one. Your 'blood, sweat and tears' have truly paid off as we could see the attention to detail that has gone in to making this a luxury gîte for your guests. We noticed the quality of furnishings and fittings, bed linen, sumptuous soft towels and then separate towels laid out for us by the pool, all of which made for an exciting stay ahead! The beds were extremely comfortable and accompanied by the peace and tranquility at night meant we both woke each morning feeling fully refreshed! We particularly enjoyed our time spent around the swimming pool and also using the outdoor kitchen/BBQ. Everything was spotlessly clean and we know that you ensured the pool area was cleaned down for us every morning. We were blessed with good weather too. The views from the terrace were stunning and we never tired from sitting there overlooking the local Cuzorn area and the valley beyond. It was a pleasure getting to know you and hearing about your journey from Essex to Lot-et-Garonne. For us, as first guests it was a privilege staying at Lasserre and we will be talking about you and our holiday for years to come. I equally hope that for you and Kate your first guests did not let you down and we have left a wonderful impression on you too! We sincerely hope that you are rewarded for the fruits of your labour and whilst we would like you to have a busy season, just secretly we would like to keep this little bit of heaven purely for us!
Une semaine fantastique dans cette belle villa ! nous avons apprécié l'accueil chaleureux de Frédéric et les fleurs fraîches dans presque toutes les chambres. Nous avons pleinement profité de la piscine et du barbecue et avons apprécié de regarder le coucher du soleil le soir. C'est dommage de partir. Merci!
Petite escapade parfaite. Tellement heureux que nous soyons venus séjourner à la Maison Meunier. Le cottage était parfait pour nos vacances en famille avec beaucoup d'espace pour nous quatre mais toujours avec cette sensation chaleureuse. C'était agréable de pouvoir rentrer à la maison après nos excursions et se détendre avec les enfants au bord de la piscine sous le soleil de l'après-midi. L'emplacement était super et nous avions bien suffisamment de choix d'endroits où aller. Merci de nous aider à créer de superbes souvenirs de famille.

We have had at the perfect family holiday at Le Manoir de Duras. The tomatoes from the garden were a delicious bonus! We all loved the pool and laying on the sun beds late a night watching the stars. Has some great meals in town and daily boulangerie too. A trip to the chocolate factory is a must. perfect on a rainy day for the kids! The house is absolutely stunning. were all agree one of the best places we've ever stayed. Thank you.
Une belle propriété, qui est très bien équipée et qui est très bien agencée même pour notre groupe de 6 personnes.
Cette villa est incroyable. La vue est époustouflante. J'ai séjourné dans la chambre en rez-de-chaussée, à côté de la salle de bain. Une jolie pièce de vie avec accès à la terrasse, un super spot pour voir les couchers de soleil. Serviettes de bonne qualité, des John Lewis! La chambre à l'étage a une jolie salle de bain et un balcon avec une vue splendide. Juste magnifique. Prendre son petit-déjeuner sous l'olivier a été un plaisir. La piscine a de bonnes dimensions et est très profonde. Très bien entretenue, avec une couverture. L'aire autour de la piscine est spacieuse, avec assez de bains de soleil et un bel espace avec barbecue. Les jardins sont magnifiques, il y a un terrain de pétanque, des oliviers à perte de vue et des massifs de fleurs devant la villa. La cuisine est très bien équipée, nous y avons mangé la plupart du temps. Et il y a une buanderie aussi. Une belle villa dans une belle région de France. Très reposant. Une perle rare.

Week-end fabuleux. Cet endroit est tout simplement merveilleux ! Bonne gastronomie, compagnie et vin... Que demander de plus à un Écossais ?
Nous avons tous les 7 passé un moment formidable dans la magnifique villa de Richard et Gay. Du pool house à leurs cours en passant par la cuisine, chacun de leurs espaces magnifiquement restaurés ajoute quelque chose de différent. Les échanges sont incroyablement faciles, ils se sont tous les deux occupés de nous depuis la minute où nous sommes entrés en contact avec eux jusqu'au jour de notre départ (où nous étions extrêmement réticents!). Ils sont allés au-delà, nous réservant un restaurant local pour notre première nuit et même faisant un des courses de dernière minute pour que nous ne soyons pas sans provisions lorsque tous les magasins étaient fermés! La maison est entourée de paysages époustouflants, avec une étendue apparemment sans fin de villages, de villes et de monuments français à explorer. Si nous revenions chaque année du le reste de notre vie, nous ne verrions toujours pas tout. Un grand merci à tous les deux, nous espérons vous revoir bientôt!
Bonjour, nous sommes arrivés hier soir et nous sommes bien installer dans cette jolie maison ! Nous avions des attentes élevées, mais la maison les dépasse!
What a wonderful week! The villa is full of elegant and eclectic touches and the outside areas are divine. The pool is just perfect and the shade was needed this week when it was very hot (but not as hot as back home - thank goodness!) Beziers is lovely and there are plenty of places to visit near by. Philippe - you were a wonderful host providing recommendations when asked and keeping the pool sparkling clean. The treats you delivered were fabulous as was the trip you organised to Saint Chinian. As a group of 7 from age 2 to 62 and having had similar holidays in recent years this has been the best. Wonderfully well equipped with thoughtful advice everywhere. Everybody loved the pool and there are plenty to things to see and do in the area, thanks again.
Thank you so much for having us and being such wonderful hosts. We've all had such a brilliant time and it really has felt like a home from home. Kit (5 years old) is really going to miss his daily swim, it's been so nice to see his confidence grow. I'm sure we'll be back !
This mansion offers everything anyone could wish for. Spacious, large bedrooms, comfortable bathrooms and outdoors like a park. Lovely swimming pool with sun beds and a lunching area (at least, that’s how we used it. Every one of our group (including the kids) had a wonderful week, no exceptions. Contact with the owner was swift and pleasant and the property manager Caroline is a gem. We hope to be back some other time, but meanwhile we recommend this property to anyone who wants to have an excellent French experience. Many thanks.
Notre semaine au Mas Saint-Martial a été tout à fait conforme à nos attentes et à nos besoins. Nous repartons détendus et ressourcés. Merci d'avoir été des hôtes si chaleureux et attentionnés. Des vacances inoubliables. Nous avons apprécié la baignade et les bains de soleil à la piscine et dans le magnifique jardin.
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. It provided everything we needed for our family reunion of 3 families – fabulous pool, large garden, lots of outside sitting/dining areas, beautiful and spacious interiors, a large and very well equipped kitchen (we loved the ice dispenser!). The children (1-5) loved the nearby lake where they paddled, splashed about and built sandcastles. Plenty of shade and grass and a good restaurant. We had amazingly good weather so were mostly outdoors but if one hit a rainy day, there is plenty of entertainment (great dvd collection) inside. All in all, a very happy choice, enjoyed by young and old! The Bruns family from Germany, Scotland and Ireland
