Thank you so very much Benjy, Kate and Issy for welcoming us to the property. We have had the most heavenly week here and we leave feeling thoroughly relaxed. The lands, vineyards and pool are all spectacular and a fabulous location for a group of friends. The weather has been glorious and to be honest, it has been quite difficult to drag ourselves away from the house and pool… However, we did venture to Fontevraud (which we loved), and we discovered a couple of the local markets. We were very grateful for the small touches that made our stay special – the beautiful turn of the winery, the supplies of food (and drinks!) and the comfy beds and copious linen and towels. We also enjoyed cooking on the Aga – risotto, roast chicken etc. Delicious food to accompany your STUNNING wine! We very much hope to return one day.
Nous avons passé des vacances fantastiques dans la propriété et, pour être tout à fait honnêtes, nous ne voulions pas partir. L'esprit maussade, nous repensons à nos clichés de vacances en souhaitant ne pas être retournés dans le sombre temps anglais, mais à nous trouver assis dans la glorieuse véranda! Votre hospitalité était incomparable et toutes les vacances sans faute.
Merci pour cette semaine mémorable dans votre belle maison. C'est tout ce que nous pouvions souhaiter pour une semaine de détente, loin de nos vies bien remplies! Comme il faisait chaud, nous ne nous sommes pas aventurés loin (à part une excursion en kayak au départ de Ribérac) et avons apprécié la piscine, le barbecue et passer du temps ensemble entre amis. Vraiment parfait.
C'est une belle façon de passer ses vacances en été, je n'imagine pas préférer faire autre chose !

C'était en effect un appartement de première classe, dans un superbe emplacement avec une belle vue sur la mer. Corinne et son mari éraient des hôtes parfaits: avec d'excellentes communications avant notre arrivée, puis ils ont été accueillants, sympathiques et très serviables pendant notre séjour, sans jamais être intrusifs. Nous avons apprécié l'intérieur moderne impeccable de l'appartement, la terrasse et toutes les petites attentions apportées par Corinne; nous avons profité de la proximité de nombreux restaurants et de la possibilité de nous promener de long du front de mer - ainsi que de profiter de la piscine sur le toit, de la plage et de la marina avec son ambiance unique. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir et je recommande fortement.
For the last 10 years, a whole group of friends and now growing amount of children have been going on holidays. We found Mas de la Rivière by chance by doing a search for 'a big house to rent in France'. Well the house is huge! We were so pleased and extremely surprised to see how much space they were when we arrived. The owners were away but we were greeted buy lovely girl where everything was and how everything worked. The house is child friendly with a huge swimming pool (with a slide). A huge trampoline, climbing frame / slide / swings and table tennis. There is enough bikes for all the kids to ride around the gardens and woods around the property are vast. We were told to help ourselves to their fruit and vegetables. The kitchen was really well equipped with lots of child friendly stuff like cups and plates etc. The rooms all had ensuite bathrooms and were extremely comfortable with good mattresses and fans in all the rooms. Mid week the lovely cleaners came and changed all the bedding and towels and cleaned all the bathrooms. The house has Wi-Fi throughout with meant that some of us could work if needed. And of course browse Facebook and Instagram.
Our second stay at 'Mel's place', the first was in 2012. Returned with 2 more grand children and a grand son's girlfriend. Have stayed in many houses over the years - this is by far the best. Brilliant pool for everyone, loads of space for the children to play and a secret garden if you want to get away from it. We didn't go far - we just enjoyed the opportunity for us all to get together for a relaxing holiday. Also there is so much equipment and toys for the children - Mel's thought of everything, an excellent host.

The house is pleasant and the host is welcoming. There is space for a large group. It is easy to park in front of the house and there is also an option to park in the garden. Well located, you can buy bread on the houseboat across the bridge and the bookstore is a must!
It's a must at Château Velouse! I have just returned from a fabulous reunion holiday of college friends, hosted at this beautiful Château Velouse. Situated in its own absolutely breathtaking grounds, of forest, fields and orchards, the land is vast enough for an early morning 5k circuit run, plus the wall to wall sunshine and a cooling swim in the beckoning outdoor pool of this gorgeous château, is a definite must for everyone! The inside of the château is something to marvel, with every bedroom individually named and decorated to the highest quality. A wonderful self catering holiday for our party of 14, gave us chance to meet with the excellent hosts Philip and Claire. Thank you both for making us all so welcome, we will certainly be returning in the not too distant future!
First things first - Karen, Russell and the girls (Mack and Mabel) are wonderful hosts. Warm, friendly, thoughtful and yet discreet. They love what they're doing and it shows as nothing is too much trouble. Their enthusiasm for their ventures (current and future) is infectious. Secondly is the 'Loft du Vigneron' - a fabulous property offering everything - and more - that you could hope for. Karen and Russell's sense of style has been imprinted on it and their attention to detail has left nothing wanting. Every comfort has been considered from the fabulous welcoming pack to 'The White Company' range of toiletries. The terrace was our favourite place with the sun streaming through the roof and the warm breeze cooling us down. Rieux-Minervois is a typical French village and perfectly situated to explore the entire Minervois region from Carcassonne in the West, East to the Mediterranean, and all the lovely historical villages North and South. In conclusion, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful property with the perfect hosts - highly recommended without hesitation. Our very best wishes for every success in you new venture. Une quinzaine de jours agréables ici à Ventenac-en-Minervois. La maison et ses superbes équipements sont conformes à la description et tout est en parfait état. Nous avons apprécié le repas à la « Grillade du Château » : une excellente viande cuite au feu de bois, tout en nous laissant divertir par leurs poules ! Nous avons également exploré les villages le long du Canal du Midi, Homps et Le Somail, et visité le village médiéval de Lagrasse, un endroit magnifique. Merci à nos excellents hôtes, Eric et Dominique, qui ont été extrêmement serviables et réactifs à toutes nos questions. Nous recommandons cet endroit pour des vacances reposantes et confortables.
Nous avons passé un moment des plus merveilleux dans votre charmante maison. Bien que nous n'étions que 4, nous avons profité au maximum de l'espace extérieur disponible, mangeant chaque repas dans une partie différente, en suivant l'ombre. Vous avez été les hôtes les plus parfaits et nous espérons vous revoir un jour.
We thought this was the perfect setting for our extended family holiday. We had long lazy days by the pool, some nice days out to the bastide towns and alfresco dinners followed by games We rescued several frogs from the pool! There were plenty of distractions in the house for every age and we found the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Fabulous weather for two birthday celebrations and we found it to be a very peaceful and idyllic setting. Amazing house! We all made amazing memories and had a great time.
Quel merveilleux séjour nous avons passé à Camirout ! On ne ressent vraiment l'atmosphère d'un lieu qu'une fois sur place, et Camirout possède un charme unique. Le soin et l'amour apportés au jardin sont remarquables : c'était un vrai plaisir d'être entourés de toute cette verdure ! Nous avons profité de belles promenades, exploré des châteaux et, bien sûr, nous nous sommes éclatés dans la piscine. Merci Madeline et Alan, nous nous sommes régalés et nous garderons ces beaux souvenirs pour toujours !
The gite is beautifully furnished and very comfortable, the hosts Kirstie and Russell have made sure you have everything you need for your break. There is a lovely private seating area outside with dining area, hot tub and patio which looks out onto the orchard and fields. Wonderful place to stay in a great location for visiting local vineyards and historical towns and villages.
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille chez Helen ! Nous avons apprécié le cadre idyllique de la maison avec vue sur le château de Margon depuis la piscine. Piscine également très agréable. Le logement était extrêmement bien équipé, il avait tout le nécessaire pour passer un bon séjour et profiter au maximum du potentiel de la maison. Un petit plus pour les ventilateurs dans les chambres du sous-sol, qui nous ont permis de dormir pendant les grosses chaleurs. La grande table à l'extérieur nous a permis de prendre nos repas tous ensemble, en profitant du beau soleil. Nous pouvons recommander cette superbe maison, Merci !
We had an excellent holiday at the villa, it was just perfect. The pool was perfect and the seating areas outside were ideal for eating and drinking and gazing at the stars. We will definitely recommend the villa to friends and family, it's a dream we want to share.
The house and the grounds were fantastic. The rooms were all spacious and we particularly appreciated the bedroom set up with interlinking rooms from the nursery. We really enjoyed exploring the grounds and went for walks/runs. The children loved exploring the forest area The swimming pool was fantastic. Loungers etc. comfortable. The kids loved the swings, etc + the playroom was well stocked. Everything we needed was here. Catering service was delicious and we really appreciate you taking into account the intolerances. Very friendly service, nothing was too much to ask. The owners are never on top of us but there if needed. Much appreciated. Fantastic holiday, thank you.
We have just returned from our holiday at your property which we all thoroughly enjoyed. I wanted to write to give feedback on our stay as I understand we were the first guests at the property. It was was the exact property we were looking for, in a quiet rural setting with the farm next door and the property itself offered everything we needed. The pool area was particularly well configured, safe for children and practical. It was so relaxing and particularly for my brother who enjoyed three days with us during the break of his six month tour in Afghanistan. It was so perfect we are very tempted to book it again for next year. Please pass our thanks on to all the owners for arranging the child facilities and to Gary and Louise who kept the pool immaculately.
It's a magical place in the heart of a charming Provençal village. Everything is perfect, from the warm welcome to the newly renovated house. The house has a lot of character and all modern comforts, including a shaded terrace and a swimming pool right in the village!

We loved the site; very peaceful and relaxing, despite the suburban setting. Everything you need is here! Pézenas is a beautiful place and we also liked Meze, Tourbes and especially enjoyed kayaking down the Hérault river.
