Beautiful and stunning quiet location. Super market and local markets close by.
Quel endroit merveilleux où séjourner: maison, piscine, nuits étoilées et boulangerie à 5 minutes. Notre grande famille a passé un moment tellement agréable ici. Avec des températures de près de 40°C, le château était encore frais mais c'était triste de voir les effets de la sécheresse/urgence climatique partout. Les oiseaux avaient besoin d'eau tous les jours ! Chevreuils au bord de la piscine, orvets et bien plus encore.

And so ends another fabulous two weeks at the Loft du Vigneron. Everything we said in September 2017 remains absolutely appropriate. Karen and Russell, you do such a magnificent job in presenting The Loft - you really are in a league of your own. Please know how much everything you do is so appreciated - it all makes to provide such a fantastic holiday base. How we would love to stay on for another two weeks now - but this will have to wait until next year! We've loved spending time with you again - the boules tournament is firmly in the memory bank! Really sorry about the tea, Russell! Case for the defence: salt does look like sugar when you've had a drink or two! Good luck with the Chambres d'Hotes - it's looking fabulous.
Juste pour dire que nous avons énormément apprécié notre séjour ici. Vous avez la plus belle demeure et dans un endroit merveilleux! Nous n'avons quitté la maison que deux fois, sauf pour acheter de la nourriture. Une fois pour aller au Château Bridoire (une bonne recommandation, merci) et au Château Montbazillac et une seconde fois aujourd'hui pour aller dans un parc aquatique. Merci beaucoup!
Maison spacieuse, jolie et très bien placée ! Nous avons passés une très belle semaine dans votre logement ! Hôte à l’écoute et présent pour répondre aux questions. Le logement à côté de la maison (l’atelier) est très bien quand deux familles partent chacun a son autonomie avec son espace personnel. Nous recommandons sans problème.

So much space for everyone. Personally some softer pillows would have been appreciated. Everything you need for a holiday with children, outside and in. Catering excellent. Faultless service.

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your fantastic home! After a warm welcome we managed to settle down to enjoy all the facilities and the actual location of this beautiful area. We had the most amazing stay with some friends in Château Entre-Deux-Mers. I was delighted by the charm of this château. The exterior is traditional. There is a lovely garden with swimming pool. We have some good memories taking an appetizer in the evenings outside! The rooms were spacious and decorated with a superb taste. But most of all : it's situated in the middle of vineyards; so great to do some cycling (bikes are available). So we can certainly recommend this place!
We have felt so welcome in your home and are so lucky to have found you and your family in France. We hope that we will be able to return another year.

We have enjoyed a tremendous week. The weather was fantastic and we made the most of the outdoor living. A few highlights for us: A fantastic meal at L’Effet Maison in Monflanquin. Great service and they were superb with the boys. Château Bonaguil (never found) was a big hit with the boys. It is a large castle and they loved running around and pretending to be knights. Much (much!) further afield, but we enjoyed Angoulême on the drive down from Calais – lots of amazing murals and graffiti. We hope to return to this great house!
Nous avons passé deux semaines merveilleuses à la villa. Nous avons passé beaucoup de temps dans la piscine fantastique. Nous sommes allés dans les villes voisines : Agde, Pézenas, Carcassonne, Limoux, Sète, toutes méritent une visite. Un grand merci à la propriétaire.

Amazing château! Stunning weather! Five families came together from different places: Canada, Wales, England. We enjoyed ourselves and each other's company. We hope to come again to this lovely place with friendly spirits.
La maison est magnifique. Le mobilier et la décoration vintage mélangés à des touches plus modernes nous ont immédiatement mis à l'aise ! Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié la piscine ! Et l'emplacement était également parfait. Pouvoir voir les bateaux sur le Canal du Midi depuis le salon rend la maison encore plus cosy et étonnante. Nous reviendrons certainement bientôt ! Merci.

Des pâtisseries fraîches du matin à un délicieux repas au "Le Pourquoi Pas", vous êtes allé au-delà - et cela, combiné au confort et à l'environnement de la villa, c'est ce qui a rendu ces vacances si spéciales. Nous avons tous adoré : le confort des lits et la qualité du linge, l'eau chaude irréprochable et la propreté de la piscine. Cette villa fonctionne vraiment, nous permettant de passer des vacances sans stress ! Tant de souvenirs heureux ont été créés. Nous espérons revenir avec un nouveau venu, mais en attendant, au revoir et merci beaucoup.
A Perfect Family Retreat – Exceeded Our Expectations! We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful villa and it truly exceeded our expectations. The photos on the website don’t fully capture the charm and spaciousness of this property. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. La Ferme Éclaircie is brilliantly laid out, offering plenty of open space, which was perfect for our family of five. The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped, making meal preparation a breeze. Each room was spotless, tidy and provided ample storage space for all our holiday belongings. The games room was a fantastic bonus, keeping our children entertained during the occasional rainy day. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible pool. Our three boys absolutely loved it and spent hours splashing around. The gentle slope of the pool was especially helpful for our youngest, who learned to swim during this holiday - an unforgettable milestone for our family. We also enjoyed the outdoor seating area, which was ideal for both daytime relaxation and evening games as we watched the sun set. The peaceful surroundings and stunning views added to the tranquility of our stay. La Ferme Éclaircie location is perfect for exploring the local area, which offers plenty of activities to keep a family like ours busy. Whether you’re looking for adventure or relaxation, this villa is a perfect choice. Overall, our stay was wonderful and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended!
We had a fantastic week here, the weather was very good - sunny every day, except one. Got up to 28 degrees. Used the pool everyday, bets way to keep cool. We thought the house was very good, had everything you would want. The welcome hamper we had was very good. The best we have ever had, we must have stayed at 20 French houses over the past 10 years but never seen so much food provided. We didn't do out too much as we had been to area before preferred to be by the pool anyway. We did however go to the Hennessey distillery at Cognac, enjoyed the tour 18 euros each. Thought Cognac was a lovely town. So all in all, had a good vacation, would come back again. Thank soo Phil and Ann for making the house so clear and tidy, we didn't have any problems with anything in the house, which must be a first! All the best.
Perfect for family holidays. The kids loved the swimming pool. Our third year here and more wonderful memories cherished in our magical home.
A perfect gite to spend a relaxed holiday. We loved each area of the Gite and felt very spoilt to have such a large area to ourselves. The attention to detail inside the gite gives a real homely feeling. The pool provided a lot of entertainment, and again very well presented. Debbie, the host, couldn't do enough for us and made sure we had everything we could possibly need. I can't recommend it/her highly enough. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
Wow! what a start to the summer. Very hot, lovely weather, plums aplenty (from garden trees), walks to Eglise de Senezelles, daily visits to the bakery in Cancon, fab Monday markets, much swimming, pool/snooker, BBQs, card games, a very dramatic thunder storm and 18 wonderful books (from the Bosc Grand shelves) read collectively. The stuff of family holiday dreams. We hope to be back!
Superbe villa dans un parfait endroit isolé ! Parfait pour les grandes familles ou les groupes d'amis. La maison est équipée de tout le nécessaire pour une escapade parfaite. De grands espaces ouverts pour se retrouver et jouer avec les enfants. La vue depuis la terrasse et la piscine est tout simplement magnifique ! Service et aide sur place super attentionnés.
