We have had a wonderful relaxed and fun week here at Le Manoir de Duras. It has felt like a home from home. All the practical equipment to making things smooth and lots of games and books to enjoy as the days go by. Thank you to the owners for a lovely family week. A real holiday.

Nous avons loué cette maison en décembre 2022 / janvier 2023 et la recommandons vivement aux familles ou aux groupes. En raison de la période de l'année, nous étions préoccupés par la chaleur mais toutes les chambres étaient plus que convenablement chauffées. De plus, la cheminée du salon crée une atmosphère très chaleureuse et confortable. Nous étions 8 adultes et 4 enfants (âgés de 5, 3, 3 et 1 ans) et tout le monde avait suffisamment d'espace. Les enfants ont particulièrement apprécié jouer avec tous les jouets de la salle de jeux, ce qui a permis aux adultes de socialiser dans le salon juste à côté tout en gardant un œil sur eux. C'était parfait pour tout le monde ! Les enfants ont également apprécié jouer dehors dans la cour entièrement clôturée. La piscine était fermée pour la saison, mais elle est également entièrement clôturée, ce qui permet aux enfants de jouer dehors en toute sécurité avec un minimum de surveillance. La cuisine a une belle cuisinière mixte (gaz et électricité) ainsi qu'un poêle à bois et la terrasse arrière a un barbecue que nous avons souvent utilisé. La table de la cuisine peut accueillir 8 personnes confortablement mais nous avons eu la chance de passer des journées chaudes et avons pu manger sur la grande table de la terrasse arrière. Toutes les chambres sont de bonne taille et bien aménagées et chacune dispose d'unités de chauffage individuelles. Les lits étaient tous confortables avec des draps propres et impeccables. En plus de la demi-salle de bain au rez-de-chaussée, il y avait trois grandes salles de bains idéalement situées entre les chambres avec de grandes baignoires et c'était plus que suffisant pour notre grand groupe. Les poutres et les pierres apparentes dans toute la maison étaient magnifiques et chaque chambre était bien décorée tout en étant confortable – nous n'avons pas eu à craindre que les enfants cassent quoi que ce soit. Internet et Netflix étaient toujours fiables pour tous ceux qui essayaient de travailler pendant leurs vacances. Enfin, les lave-vaisselle, lave-linge et sèche-linge disponibles pour une vie facile! La communication avec l'hôte était exceptionnelle et l'arrivée et le départ ont été très faciles. Nous pourrions encore longuement en dire sur ce merveilleux joyau. Nous avons passé un moment de détente, fait quelques randonnées, visité quelques sites locaux ainsi que des vignobles voisins. Nous serions ravis de revenir et le recommanderions certainement à notre famille et à nos amis!
Beautiful house - a real hidden gem in hills of Myan Sartu. Nice located, easy accessible, safe, comfortable and convenient especially for families with children. The owner is a very responsible and attentive host. Our slightest problems were solved instantly without ruining our plans for the day. Special mention should be made of the breathtaking view from the terrace and the great opportunities for children's leisure. The house is just overflowing with different toys and board games. Our family was so happy to spend our holidays here and will definitely come back again.
We have had the most delightful holiday! It began with your friendly and welcoming e-mails well before we got here! We have self-catered across Europe in some pretty good places but none quite so lovely as 'The Loft'. The way you prepared it for our arrival, and your warm and generous welcome was simply stunning! We have since enjoyed the quality and comfort of this 'home from home', and your thoughtful attention to all those little details that have made our stay so very special. Our celebration 'bubbly' and delicious cake was a complete surprise and a real treat. We have wondered how it has taken us quite so long to discover the Languedoc, Occitanie! From our all too brief stay we have seen some of the most beautiful countryside, enjoyed the wines and food and visited some of the prettiest towns and villages (many thanks for the suggestion of the Sunday market at Saint-Chinian - what a delight!). We have no doubt that we'll be back and thank you again so much for making us feel so welcome.
C'était en effect un appartement de première classe, dans un superbe emplacement avec une belle vue sur la mer. Corinne et son mari éraient des hôtes parfaits: avec d'excellentes communications avant notre arrivée, puis ils ont été accueillants, sympathiques et très serviables pendant notre séjour, sans jamais être intrusifs. Nous avons apprécié l'intérieur moderne impeccable de l'appartement, la terrasse et toutes les petites attentions apportées par Corinne; nous avons profité de la proximité de nombreux restaurants et de la possibilité de nous promener de long du front de mer - ainsi que de profiter de la piscine sur le toit, de la plage et de la marina avec son ambiance unique. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir et je recommande fortement.
Everything about this stay was perfect! The location (in a small village which boasts a lovely hotel / bar / restaurant, a shop in which you can buy all you need, local wine producers and an organic butchers lorry visiting twice a week) to close proximity to beautiful walking routes and access to nearby towns with great markets, to the house itself which is the epitome of Provence living. Comfortable, thoughtfully restored and furnished and with every amenity you could wish for. The outside areas are great too - a beautiful pool area and several eating / barbecue and relaxation areas to take advantage of the sun or shade as you need. Perfect for large family gatherings as all the rooms are en suit and private except one which has an adjoining room perfect for those with young children although it still has 2 bathrooms! The house and grounds are looked after by a lovely couple who are on hand to help if needed with taxi's advice etc. We will be back!
Nous avons passé deux semaines merveilleuses au Château des Dragons. Une semaine en famille (dont deux jeunes enfants) et la seconde avec quatre adultes. Le château était parfait pour les deux semaines. Chacun bénéficiait d'une grande intimité, chaque chambre double disposant de toilettes et d'une salle de bain séparées. La cuisine était parfaitement équipée et nous avons pu préparer de délicieux repas. L'emplacement du château est idéal : un havre de paix au cœur d'un magnifique parc très bien entretenu. Les propriétaires ont répondu rapidement à toutes nos demandes et se sont montrés très serviables. Leurs recommandations d'activités et de restaurants nous ont été précieuses et nous ont permis de vivre de belles expériences, comme un vol en montgolfière et une dégustation de vins locaux. Nous avions une voiture, pratique pour nos déplacements, mais nous avons également utilisé les taxis locaux, notamment le minibus 9 places. La compagnie était sympathique et ponctuelle. La piscine, le château et le parc étaient impeccables et les espaces extérieurs étaient parfaits pour les repas. Les antiquités et les œuvres d'art offraient toujours de nouvelles découvertes. En résumé, nous recommandons vivement ce château et nous y retournerons sans hésiter.

Beautiful accommodation with so much attention to detail! We were all very amazed by the cleanliness and its amenities. We have never been to such a beautiful place before. We were a group of 6 people. On the terrace you have a beautiful view and there is a waterfall nearby. Sophie is a very lovely and helpful person. We were already very convinced of the pictures of the villa, in reality it was even more beautiful. The kitchen was fully equipped, there was no lack of a device or spice. Very very hygienic everything! I would be happy to come back.
What a beautiful location, breathtaking. A very warm welcome, you feel at home because of the fine reception. The hosts help you with everything you could want. The gîte is also spick and span and meets all your needs. Had a very relaxing holiday. Exactly as it should be! We recommend it to everyone and will definitely come here again.
Fabuleuse location de vacances pour la famille et les amis. 10 d'entre nous ont récemment séjourné ici pour une pause en groupe. Nous n'aurions pas pu rêver d'un meilleur endroit où séjourner. Les propriétaires étaient très serviables et arrangeants, ils ont vraiment fait de cet endroit un endroit spécial. La maison est joliment meublée et confortable, les jardins sont magnifiques et il y a beaucoup à faire dans la région aussi si vous ne voulez pas simplement vous détendre au bord de la piscine en profitant du soleil. Je le recommande vivement.
Merveilleux séjour dans une magnifique villa. Base idéale pour explorer cette belle partie de la France. J'ai passé la plupart des soirées sur la terrasse à profiter du coucher de soleil. J'y retournerais sans hésiter lors de mon retour dans cette région.
We had a superb 11 day stay in Fitou. Everything was as expected when we arrived - the property has everything you would expect and more when travelling with young children - in our case a 10 month old as well as 2½ year old twins. The car beds were a huge hit with the twins! The village of Fitou is also really nice - there are over 10 wines caves selling high quality local Fitou. There are also some excellent restaurants - would recommend Vidals if you are taking the kids. Outside of Fitou, Perpignan, Narbonne and Carcassonne are all realistic day trip options and the resort of Leucate is also good for a more traditional seaside ambience.
Beautiful villa, lovely location near Fayence and Lac de Cassien. Can't wait to come back.
Nous avons adoré chaque instant de notre séjour. Le Cottage du Jardin est joli et très bien aménagé : ultra propre, bien équipé et charmant. La piscine et les jardins sont intimes et charmants. Catarina et Stephen sont des hôtes formidables : ils sont aux petits soins et d'une gentillesse incroyable. Cette propriété est un véritable joyau, et les villages et sites antiques de la vallée de la Vézère en font un séjour inoubliable.

Wonderful house full of character. My family had so much fun in the sparkling clean pool. All was laid on in the house and everything so clean.
Fabulous Villa and location We've been coming to the south of France for year and specifically to this area and to Seillans for the last 5 years... and this villa is as good as we have ever stayed. The villa is impeccably kept, extremely comfortable and has the most magnificent views. Everything in the villa is as advertised and works well. The restaurants of Seillans are a short walk away. Although the town itself unfortunately has no boulangerie or patisserie, Fayence is only a 5 minute drive away and has a great one of those, plus a boucherie / charcuterie around the corner, both of which are close to the big Super U supermarket. The terrace and pool are East-facing. We were worried that in the photos it looked like there was little shade provided but with the big awnings for the terrace and a few parasols for the pool, finding shade from the morning sun was not a problem. We love this area for the beautiful mountain villages (seillans, Callian, Tourrettes etc) but the ease of getting around in the largely flat area south of those villages so you can get to Cannes, Grasse and the beaches. Merci beaucoup.
Terrific house with fabulous views, close to town. Our family of five had a perfect holiday. The house is spacious, filled with light and very well appointed. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces a lot, including the pool, the large terrace with stunning views and summer kitchen. It was easy to get to grocery stores and activities in the region. Our teenagers loved being able to walk to the village and explore the area. We all enjoyed walking or jogging on the path by the canal, accessible from the garden. We highly recommend this property!
Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour à La Maison Tolzac. La maison est parfaite, la terrasse est au calme et offre une magnifique vue sur le lac.

It’s like staying with friends, with all the positives and none of the negatives! One of the things I think we will remember most about our trip are Karen and Russell. They gave our family the warmest of welcomes and ensured our stay was both comfortable and with a touch of luxury. Having never ventured to this part of France, it was fantastic to have the helpful suggestions for wineries not to be missed, activities for the kids, and the best places to eat. On the other side of the coin, we had our much-needed R&R. The oasis of peace and tranquility of the Loft, the gorgeous terrace for evening aperitifs, and alfresco dining, the extensive and beautiful gardens, and the sparkling azure gem of a pool! Thank you both for making our holiday so special. That cake : WOW! WOW! WOW! Despite all the fab patisserie, the kids still go on about that cake, Karen! Recipe, please!
We have had a most amazing week. The weather has been perfect and this beautiful house has been a haven of peace and tranquility for adults and children alike. Needless to say we don't want to go home!
En nageant sous le soleil à La Barde, nous avons vécu un séjour luxueux dans un endroit idéal pour nous rappeler les aspects les plus importants de la vie : la famille, la nature et l'amour. C'est tellement évident que chaque recoin de cette maison a été conçu et est entretenu avec amour. Une escapade parfaite dans les collines de Lusignac.
Quelle belle villa et quelles vacances formidables nous avons passées ! Merci de nous avoir offert un endroit aussi calme, beau et reposant. Nous espérons revenir !
Nous tenons à dire que nous avons passé un merveilleux moment à la Maison Valière, nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par Eric et Dominique, un pack de bienvenue comprenant de la confiture maison, des produits locaux, Eric nous a également fait découvrir le vin local du Château de Ventenac-en-Minervois, la cave vaut bien une visite. La propriété est fantastique, à part la piscine, il y a de quoi occuper tous les âges, il y a beaucoup de caractéristiques uniques dans cette propriété, y compris les enceintes audio d'Eric. La piscine était maintenue propre et remplie régulièrement. Eric et Dominique étaient toujours disponibles par téléphone pour offrir des conseils sur la région et les endroits à visiter. Est-ce que nous y retournerions ? Oui, sans aucun doute. Je dois également dire que c'était la première fois que nous réservions via Pure France, ce qui s'est déroulé sans problème et avec plaisir.
