Nous avons passé une semaine très reposante. Nous avons fait beaucoup de choses et sommes à nouveau pleins d'énergie. Merci pour votre accueil et votre maison si accueillante et propre.
Lovely villa, boys enjoyed the pool and the garden! Had great trips to Montpellier and Carcassonne. Visit Pézenas on a Wednesday evening and visit all of the artisans stores! For beaches the long stretch between Sète and Agde is very quiet.
My wife and rented Maison Rohmer for a month. the owner who lives in London was accessible by phone, she was absolutely fantastic, very helpful and was there for us by telephone if we had any questions. the location is in the country, very quiet and in a great location for discovering Luberon, hill towns, scenes to sketch and paint, some level dedicated bike trails for bike riding (can rent in Coustellet), so all in all a wonderful experience, the inside of the home was very comfortable, sizeable rooms, great shower, so now hesitation whatever to anyone who is looking for a place in the country side with a pool.
Nous avons ADORÉE ! Il y avait tellement de choses à faire qu'on ne voulait plus partir. On y a finalement passé beaucoup plus de temps que prévu ! Très bien équipée et une ambiance très relaxante. Je recommande vivement ! Merci beaucoup de nous avoir accueillis !
We are regular visitors to the area but this was our visit to Villa Colline. The Villa is beautifully appointed and furnished to a very high standard, with the kitchen particularly having every appliance you could possibly need. The bedrooms are very spacious with private balconies and the aircon throughout the villa is a must in the French summer months. Outdoor the furniture is of a excellent (the nicest outdoor furniture I think we have ever used) and the front terrace benefits the sun for the whole day. There was so many outdoor terraces and seating areas, that we didn’t get chance to use all of them in our 2 weeks, but the main one was very spacious for us all to use. The BBQ was a Webber and very easy to use and came with spare gas bottles As regular visitors to the area we usually have the frustration of parking in Collioure and the traffic in and out as the season get busy, but as the Villa is only a 10 minute walk into Collioure, we were able to pop in and as we wanted which made the holiday even more relaxing. I would highly recommend this villa for anyone wanting a modern, well equipped, well maintained villa with easy access to Collioure
Une belle propriété idéale pour notre famille de 5 adultes. L'espace extérieur et la piscine étaient super et nous avons aimé l'emplacement de la maison.
Nous voulions juste vous remercier pour ce beau séjour au château Périgord. Tout était superbe… une propriété remarquable joliment sise dans la magnifique campagne. Nous y avons passé un merveilleux séjour!
We have had a wonderful stay at La Remise. Esther and Lee have been helpful hosts and gave some great tips on places to eat and visit for our stay. The villa and especially the pool have been fantastic.
Anthony and Rachel make wonderful hosts being friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and also very generous with their excellent "welcome pack". We loved the whole region: Carcassonne and Mirepoix are a "must" (the owners of the "Mad Hatter" cafe in Mirepoix are Brits) and we enjoyed the markets at Mirepoix and Revel. Also enjoyed the drive south from Revel through the pretty villages/small town of Saissac. Lagrasse is a pleasant village but a tad overrated in our view. On the other hand, we loved Minerve and the Minervois region including the small town of Caunes-Minervois. Fontfroide is worth a visit and Montesegur is a must if in that area. We enjoyed Peyriac de-Mer and Gruissan on the coast but would avoid Narbonne Plage on another occasion - great beach though! Toulouse is a pleasant city and worth a visit if cities are "your thing" and the SNCF smartphone app worked brilliantly. For a special lunch, Cote Resto is a must. Excellent food and in a wonderful setting.
A very belated note to say thanks very much for your help in making our stay in Les Rocans go smoothly. We had a great time and loved how relaxed it was. We were considering rebooking for next year however Mum has just announced she will be taking a larger place to celebrate her 70th in next summer, so the good news is she will pick up the bill (!) but the bad news is we can't stay with you again next year. We will however certainly bear Les Rocans in mind for the future as we had a thoroughly relaxing time.
Beautifully converted and furnished house with two lovely gîtes, a swimming pool and terraces. The wide views over the vineyards are unprecedented. The owners again make something very beautiful !!!
Quel endroit magnifique! Vous avez fait un excellent travail dans ce loft. Il est chaleureux, élégant, accueillant: et vous avez pensé à tout! Nous nous sommes sentis entouré par tout l'amour que vous avez mis dans ce loft tout au long de notre séjour. Il va resté sur mon économiseur d'écran quelques temps! J'ai hâte de voir les photos de la maison. Merci, merci, merci. C'était fabuleux!
Nous avons passé 5 jours fantastiques dans ce charmant appartement. L'emplacement était merveilleux, à 30 secondes de la plage et avec également accès à la piscine sur le toit (dans un bâtiment adjacent). Accès facile à une ligne de train (20 minutes à pied) ou à des lignes de bus. Le supermarché à 5 minutes à pied était un bonus. Pour manger, beaucoup de choix de restaurants, à 10 minutes à pied offrant une gamme variée. La vue depuis l'appartement était charmante notamment sur la baie en direction de Nice. L'appartement correspondait à tout ce que nous voulions. Les activités de plage étaient nombreuses, du jet ski à la voile en passant par la plongée avec tuba, etc.
Belle propriété avec la plus magnifique des vues. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et serviables. Tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin est là. La piscine était parfaite. Belle promenade champêtre jusqu'au prochain village avec un petit restaurant qui vaut le détour. Cela prend environ 45 minutes. De beaux paysages autour de la maison comme dans un tableau de Van Gogh ! Nous reviendrons certainement.
We have had a splendid time here and greatly enjoyed the villa. It was very relaxing and comfortable place with incredible views over the vineyards and hill. We spent a lot of time by the pool but also explored the neighbouring sights - Roquebrun was great fun and we also liked Minerve and managed to get down to the coast at Cabaues-les-Fleury.
Juste un petit mot pour dire WOW - nous sommes époustouflés par votre maison ! C'est incroyable, nous voyageons en France chaque année depuis environ 10 ans mais nous savons déjà que ce sera la meilleure à ce jour ! Rien ne nous a déçu, nous sommes juste ravis - nous sommes des cuisiniers passionnés (de vrais gastronomes) et votre cuisine est parfaite. Après une promenade rapide dans le village nous revenions cuisiner notre premier souper traditionnel composé de pétoncles et de crevettes fraîches. Nous y avons passé trois semaines et avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour à la Maison Charvin. La villa elle-même est spacieuse et très bien présentée. De nombreux rangements, en particulier dans la cuisine, qui dispose d'un grand réfrigérateur-congélateur et beaucoup d'espace de rangement. La cuisine, et la maison en général, sont exceptionnellement bien équipées - en fait mieux que toutes celles dans lesquelles nous avons séjourné pendant plus de 10 ans de vacances en France. Toutes les chambres sont grandes, lumineuses et aérées, et toutes ont une salle de bain. Nous voyagions avec des adolescents et ils ont vraiment apprécié l'espace supplémentaire dans les chambres pour leur donner un peu plus d'intimité / d'espace par eux-mêmes. Il n'y a pas de WC au rez-de-chaussée de la maison - cependant, il y en a un au bord de la piscine, ce n'est donc pas un problème. Le jardin est privé et agréable pour s'y détendre, la plantation en fait un espace intéressant et relaxant. La piscine n'est pas immense, mais c'est bien pour se détendre et se rafraîchir, surtout le soir car elle est bien éclairée. Il y a de la place pour une petite voiture à l'extérieur de la villa, mais comme la nôtre est grande, nous l'avons laissée en bas de la route à environ 100 m, pratique et sûr. La villa est située au centre d'un village agréable et convivial. Il y a une épicerie très utile à distance de marche, mais la boulangerie a fermé peu de temps avant notre arrivée, et le bar ouvre apparemment rarement et est en vente - ce sont probablement des problèmes temporaires. Il y avait un certain nombre d'événements dans le village, avec un marché chaque mardi soir où nous avons aimé nous promener avant de nous asseoir avec un verre de vin. Carcassonne est à proximité et il y a beaucoup d'endroits à visiter dans la région. Notre expérience a été très positive et nous pensons certainement que la villa était d'un excellent rapport qualité-prix. Enfin, un mot sur notre hôte - Sharon vit dans un village voisin pendant l'été, et était super sympa et serviable, faisant des recommandations pour des sorties et réservant des restaurants pour nous. Cela a été très apprécié et nous a permis de profiter au maximum de notre séjour. Dans l'ensemble, nous recommandons chaleureusement!
Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique tous les 13, une superbe propriété pour une grande famille avec de jeunes enfants, la propriétaire a été charmante et tout s'est bien passé.
My extended family and I very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. The house itself is a magnificent old stone building, which has been decorated in a very elegant manner. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and we very much appreciated the coffee machine. Younger family members enjoyed the pool and ping pong table. Being an old house, it does have some quirks, but these are very much outweighed by the charm and grandeur of the rooms and outdoor areas. The location is scenic and peaceful - but within reasonable driving distance of area attractions such as Lascaux and villages along the Dordogne. The local village is lovely, with a handy small supermarket, great boulangerie and several restaurants. Our hosts were welcoming, friendly and helpful.
Time seems to have stood still for these 10 days. And yet it passed quickly. An idyllic setting, calm at all times, 2 charming and attentive hosts. We loved our stay at Colombat Cottage.
Superbe hébergement dans un endroit fabuleux ! Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour – le gîte était tout simplement parfait pour nous. Au calme, avec de grands espaces extérieurs et une belle piscine. Le gîte est très bien équipé et meublé avec goût, avec tout le nécessaire pour un séjour loin de chez soi. Mark a été très accueillant et nous a bien conseillés pour nos besoins locaux. Nous avons profité de ses relations pour visiter une incroyable distillerie de cognac/pineau locale et avons terminé la journée en cuisinant au gîte par Reza Mahammad (chef réputé au répertoire culinaire exceptionnel). Ce moment a été d'autant plus agréable lorsque Reza a partagé avec nous l'histoire et les origines des plats que nous avons dégustés – un vrai régal ! Nous recommandons la propriété comme une excellente option pour les couples ou les familles qui recherchent le calme tout en étant à proximité de nombreuses villes et attractions intéressantes.
Attendez-vous à un accueil chaleureux de la part de Nicky et Richard, les propriétaires sympathiques et serviables du charmant château. Magnifiquement situé au milieu de vignobles et de collines boisées, nous avons apprécié le calme, les vues, la magnifique piscine et l'espace. Le château n'est pas loin de quelques jolis villages disséminés autour de la rivière Lot, et Cahors n'est qu'à 25 minutes. Beaucoup de choses à faire et à voir dans la région, avec la possibilité de retourner dans notre oasis de vacances pour y faire un barbecue et nous détendre ou jouer une partie de golf sur place sur leur vaste terrain. J'ai adoré.
What a wonderful Loft! We love all the furniture; so lovely to have 'proper furnishings' and not sofas with throws! We loved all the 'Maisons du Monde' additions and the kitchen is great to cook in. Wonderful attention to detail, so that you really feel 'at home'. The terrace is fabulous; we loved sitting out there first thing in the morning. Thanks also for all the recommendations for the specialist wine tours - our wine trip was first rate. Your hospitality and company was excellent and we loved the trip to see 'Le Jardin Champetre' nursery - thank you. Also, the pool is so clear and wonderful to swim in.
We just wanted to drop you a quick message to say how much we enjoyed your lovely house in France. Les Roches was a wonderful place to spend a few days relaxing, seeing something of the Southern Loire, and trying new wines. The pool, tennis courts, and gym were a big hit with the kids especially. Isabella, thank you for the personal tour of the winery, it was good to learn more about how you create your organic/low sulphite wines and the great knowledge shared while tasting a few, along with the ones we thoroughly tested during our stay The Femme Tour riding by the gates was a one off and such an amazing and friendly experience. We toasted with sparkling wine (Ampelidae of course) on the barrels set at the end of the drive as they rode past. Please say thank you to the so helpful Beada once again for her support and patience with our varied amounts of French. The ladies in the village bakery were also wonderfully cheerful each morning as we negotiated the language of French bread types. In all our joint family holidays this one got the highest score. As we watched the red sunset from the terrace on Friday, no one wanted to go home. Wishing you a good harvest in 2025 and all the best.
Belles vues, une belle villa reposante. Nous avons vraiment apprécié le séjour ici. Minerve valait le détour (ville et grottes), et les enfants ont beaucoup apprécié. Les activités au lac de Carcassonne près de Carcassonne.
Nous voulions juste vous remercier pour cette belle semaine dans votre belle maison. C'est un endroit magique et nous en avons déjà de bons souvenirs. Merci d'avoir fait en sorte que Suzanne cuisine pour nous. Ses dîners ont été un franc succès et ses sorbets surprises ont suscité l'intrigue les deux soirs ! Nous espérons revenir à l'avenir et nous avons hâte de vous revoir.

We have just returned from our holiday at your property which we all thoroughly enjoyed. I wanted to write to give feedback on our stay as I understand we were the first guests at the property. It was was the exact property we were looking for, in a quiet rural setting with the farm next door and the property itself offered everything we needed. The pool area was particularly well configured, safe for children and practical. It was so relaxing and particularly for my brother who enjoyed three days with us during the break of his six month tour in Afghanistan. It was so perfect we are very tempted to book it again for next year. Please pass our thanks on to all the owners for arranging the child facilities and to Gary and Louise who kept the pool immaculately.
