Nous avons passé des vacances merveilleuses et reposantes. Merci beaucoup pour cette belle maison et les vues. Nous avons profité de la piscine, du soleil, de la piscine fantastique et bien sûr du piano. En tant que musiciens, avoir un piano était important. Apprendre que la maison appartenait à un célèbre pianiste de jazz était génial ! Nous avons joué du jazz tous les jours et le son du piano dans l'air du soir était un rêve. Merci Frédéric de s'être occupé de nous.
Thank you for a very relaxing holiday in your fabulous house. We will long remember our lazy days by the pool. The house had everything we needed - a real home from home, with bags of French character.
Thank you both for the most wonderful stay at your beautiful villa. We’ve had the most incredible week exploring the South of France – an area we love – and discovering new places. This spot is extremely special and we’ve relished the relaxing days and evenings spent here (made even more special by the sighting of a wild boar with babies and your marvellous set up for the gorgeous cats) – thank you for showing us this! The secluded spot, surrounded by woodland, an aromatic and fragrant garden attracting many butterflies, a beautiful pool and terrace area is somewhere we won’t forget and would love to come back to. Everything has been thought of at this place which makes it so homely. Everything from kitchen utensils and supplies to the BBQ, bowls and the TV set-up – the place has it all. You have both been such friendly and discrete hosts, allowing us such privacy and the personality you have stamped on the place (from plants, to artwork and sculptures as well as the lovely cats) makes this space so full of character too. Thanks again and we wish you both the best – hopefully we’ll return in the future!
Nous venons de passer des vacances des plus merveilleuses dans une maison tout aussi magnifique, La Barde. La propriétaire nous a accueillis chaleureusement et nous a également préparé un gâteau inattendu mais très apprécié. La maison est absolument magnifique et grande, les pièces spacieuses et meublées avec goût permettent à chacun de se réunir ou de trouver un endroit calme. La maison est exceptionnellement bien équipée et les miroirs et les prises sont parfaitement placés pour se sécher les cheveux, un élément très important ! Fabuleuse piscine de bonne taille avec suffisamment de transats pour tous. Nous étions 8 personnes, 2 couples de parents avec nos 4 enfants adultes (18-25 ans). Nous avons tous convenu que c'était la meilleure maison que nous ayons louée (et nous louons de belles maisons depuis de nombreuses années). La propriétaire était tout simplement charmante et nous la voyions de temps en temps nettoyer la piscine tôt le matin. Idéalement situé à proximité des villes voisines d'Aubeterre et Bourdeilles et de belles promenades directement depuis la propriété. Nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir à La Barde à l'avenir et pensons que ce serait idéal pour tous les groupes d'âge.
Un endroit incroyable et merveilleux où séjourner ! Nous n'y avons passé qu'une semaine, mais ce fut une semaine très spéciale. Notre premier séjour en Dordogne a été encore plus inoubliable grâce à ce gîte de conte de fées. Les propriétaires ont tout prévu pour des vacances inoubliables. Ce sont des hôtes parfaits ! Le gîte était parfait, propre et très confortable, sans oublier la piscine, un vrai plus. Nous recommandons vivement ce magnifique gîte et son emplacement pour des vacances reposantes !
It’s hard to know where to begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. Your property is so well set up and we made good use of the barbecue, tennis court, boules, darts, table tennis and of course, the pool which beats all other swimming pools we’ve ever had on holiday... and the shady areas when the sun got just that bit too hot. So much thought has obviously gone into it all and it made our holiday very special. The four teenage grandchildren we had with us had a ball and we all loved the Lot countryside, its villages and the sunflowers. How can you not be happy when you’ve got fields of them within a few steps from your door? The two Marches Gourmands we went to at Tournon and Saux were brilliant fun - the food on offer at Saux was particularly good and Tournon is such a pretty place. Our daughter loved going for early morning runs, seeing a hare and on two occasions, a deer, amongst sunflowers. Swimming in the Lot, cycling and canoeing are all on our list of favourite things we did. We also have a great picture of three of the red squirrels on the tree near the bolet - what a brilliant place for breakfast. Thank you so very much from all of us. We loved the villa, everything was perfect. The children loved it and my 3 year old son refuses to go home. Beautiful fruit from the garden.
Maison magnifique, très bien située qui permet promenade, pause café et joie de vivre. Nous recommandons fortement.
Great place to stay and perfect for the three families we had on our trip. The children loved the pool and boules court and the adults loved sitting on the patio with a glass of rosé watching the sun set. Look forward to coming back.
J'ai adoré ces vacances. J'adore le sport, alors j'ai passé la plupart de mes journées dans la magnifique piscine. Je m'entraînais à nager, puis je flottais en admirant le ciel bleu. J'ai adoré le court de tennis et j'ai passé des heures à travailler mon coup droit. Le château est tellement joli qu'il aurait pu être inventé. N'importe quel enfant adorerait cet endroit.
Thank you for a lovely stay. Villa Kali was immaculate when we arrived. Best villa ever according to no.2 child (particularly because of pool and table tennis). All in all a memorable holiday, everything is so convenient, hassle free and well thought through. Thanks very much.
Fabulous house, beautifully decorated with everything we could possibly need for a lovely holiday. The pool and pool toys were a great hit with our 4 year old. We have holidayed numerous times in France and this was by far the best, from the welcoming email to the comfy beds and linen. Mark and Janet have made this a beautiful holiday home. We had a hot week and made the most of being at home! Thank you for a lovely stay! P.S. The Tuesday night market in Laparade was fun and definitely worth a visit! Our daughter loved her bedroom + the toys kept her occupied in the morning!

La Maison Lanave est une charmante ferme gasconne bien rénovée, nichée au cœur des vignes et offrant une vue spectaculaire. Les photos et les descriptions sont fidèles à la réalité : c'est un lieu vraiment exceptionnel. Les hôtes sont proactifs et sympathiques, présents sur place sans être intrusifs. Ils sont très disponibles pour répondre à nos demandes et nous fournir de nombreuses informations locales utiles. La région est rurale et offre beaucoup de choses à voir et à faire. Nous recommandons vivement d'y séjourner.
Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances dans le chalet d'Eva. Tout était en ordre C'est une maison très spacieuse, avec de grandes chambres (de bain), avec une terrasse apaisante avec une grande piscine. Parfait pour un voyage de groupe La communication avec Eva s'est très bien passée
Many thanks for a great family holiday in a wonderful setting. La Ferme Éclaircie is great and proved perfect for our family. We especially enjoyed cooling off in the fantastic pool. The area and scenery are great also and we recommend the prune festival in Agen! We would love to come back.
What a lovely property! Lots of space. We were a big family group, mixed ages. The pool was a godsend as the weather was très chaud! Beautiful sunsets. The place was very well equipped. Didn’t use the Moroccan room as it was just too hot for us. The owner was very communicative and helpful to my queries. Nothing was too much trouble. Really nice to receive some wine and coffee on arrival too. Thanks so much Estelle and co. What a wonderful holiday we have had ! Sad it’s over!
Belle propriété, région incroyable, tout simplement parfaite pour des vacances des plus fantastiques ! La rénovation a été effectuée de manière exquise et nous y reviendrons très certainement. Matthieu a été un manager fantastique. Nous ne voulons pas rentrer à la maison !

Nous sommes restés toute la famille 6 adultes et 2 enfants pendant 4 jours. La maison a tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour profiter de quelques jours dans le sud de la France. Les propriétaires ont toujours été très amicaux et prêts à nous aider avec tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Merci.
A stunning villa perfectly set up and loved by our children. The extra touches like coffee machine, Lego for the boys to play with, a bottle of champagne to welcome us on arrival were excellent. The boys loved the heated pool, walking into town for bread / croissants in the morning and lunch on the terrace. Some excellent restaurants in town including Chez Paul, Maison Conti, La Ripaille, Les Palmiers and La Pomme d'Amour. The Pedahorail is not for the faint hearted. Had a lovely holiday. Thank you!
Quelle magnifique retraite loin de la vie urbaine ! Nous avons réservé trois semaines à la maison et en avons apprécié chaque minute. La cuisine extérieure est fantastique, c'était comme si nous avions notre propre restaurant privé. La piscine était parfaite pour nos trois enfants et la vue panoramique sur les montagnes environnantes est à couper le souffle. Alexandra était facilement joignable en cas de questions ou de problèmes. Dans l’ensemble, fortement recommandé !

us étions en famille, la maison est parfaite pour cela. Mes parents logeaient dans l’appartement à l’écart de l'effervescence des plus petits, très bien équipé. La literie des lits est récente et confortable. Rien n'a manqué pour notre confort, des ventilateurs dans chaque chambre, tout était très propre. La maison est gigantesque mais le vrai plus c'est le jardin et la piscine! Grande zone engazonnée pour jouer au ballon, pétanque, table de ping-pong, potager.. et la piscine immense. Nombreux transats et fauteuils de jardin, barbec, plancha, ombre bref tous est parfait! Eva et son amie son adorable, n'hésitez pas à lui demander une bonne adresse pour un resto! Je recommande.
We are finally home and now reflecting on happy memories of our wonderful holiday in France and particularly our 10 nights spent here. Where do we begin to ever thank you for all that you did and for making our holiday so special. We felt like we had our own personal butler looking after us throughout our stay. Even prior to our arrival we welcomed the emails, the ease of booking and then promptly replying to any query that we had , as well as the phone call to offer help and support the week before we were scheduled to arrive. We really appreciated the welcome basket of goodies and all the other little things that you had thoughtfully put in the fridge, making our arrival into the gîte a very warm and welcome one. Your 'blood, sweat and tears' have truly paid off as we could see the attention to detail that has gone in to making this a luxury gîte for your guests. We noticed the quality of furnishings and fittings, bed linen, sumptuous soft towels and then separate towels laid out for us by the pool, all of which made for an exciting stay ahead! The beds were extremely comfortable and accompanied by the peace and tranquility at night meant we both woke each morning feeling fully refreshed! We particularly enjoyed our time spent around the swimming pool and also using the outdoor kitchen/BBQ. Everything was spotlessly clean and we know that you ensured the pool area was cleaned down for us every morning. We were blessed with good weather too. The views from the terrace were stunning and we never tired from sitting there overlooking the local Cuzorn area and the valley beyond. It was a pleasure getting to know you and hearing about your journey from Essex to Lot-et-Garonne. For us, as first guests it was a privilege staying at Lasserre and we will be talking about you and our holiday for years to come. I equally hope that for you and Kate your first guests did not let you down and we have left a wonderful impression on you too! We sincerely hope that you are rewarded for the fruits of your labour and whilst we would like you to have a busy season, just secretly we would like to keep this little bit of heaven purely for us!
Un grand gîte familial avec beaucoup d'espace pour nous tous. Nous avons fait de belles balades par ici, aux gorges, à Orpierre et Rosans. Nous avond également réussi à intégrer des temps de farniente autour de la piscine, des bains de soleil et de la lecture. Des vacances parfaites ! J'espère revenir...
Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour au château du Périgord. Le château est magnifique et décoré avec goût. Le parc est splendide. La campagne est très belle et très apaisante. La piscine est sécurisée et bien équipée. Parfait.
