Les Chapoux is truly a terrific holiday destination, the property is located in a lovely area and it is easy to access local towns and villages with supermarkets in easy reach. As to the property it is charming, there is plenty of room with comfortable beds and all the amenities you could need. The pool is great and the 3 generations of our family spent many an hour in and around it. The owners are very helpful and made us feel most welcome. Definitely one to visit.
Lovely property and surrounding grounds. We enjoyed the pool enormously with everything you provide and also the countryside here.
Une beau point de chute pour nos 2 semaines! L'espace extérieur couvert + la cuisine étaient super. Nous avons passé la majeure partie de notre séjour à observer la faune incroyable! Nous avons vu des cerfs, des lézards, des buses et même pu voir les oisillons nichant au-dessus de la porte des toilettes extérieures quitter le nid! Monflanquin était magnifique ! Cathy + Stéphane étaient adorables + nous avons adoré regarder la voiture 2 CV de Stéphane rouler! Merci.
Merci pour ce séjour paisible et reposant. Nous avons adoré l'emplacement de Camirout et avons apprécié flâner dans les environs.
Nous revenons depuis maintenant plus de 5 ans. Nous adorons la Villa Baleyssagues et Frédéric ! Nous aimons tout dans la maison et tous les différents changements et améliorations dans la maison dus au nouveau propriétaire. La piscine reste la même avec sa forme impressionnante ! Le seul point négatif c'est que la maison affiche rapidement complet !!!
We (4 adults - 2 generations) spent a fantastic week in this super gîte. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and extremely well equipped. Outside, in the very large garden, was the lovely pool which was cleaned daily. The outside kitchen was lovely for BBQ's. There were also lots of seating areas, shaded and sunny, we were spoilt for choice. We walked to the bakery in the morning as the gîte is close to the village. The lovely owners were welcoming and helpful. Happy to recommend.
Un séjour incroyable dans une propriété absolument magnifique. Une attention particulière portée aux détails, tant esthétiques que pratiques, ainsi qu'une hospitalité et une générosité de premier ordre de la part de nos hôtes, Gary et Mark. Nous avons passé une semaine tellement reposante et reposante, et nous y retournons, totalement convertis au Cognac !

We highly recommend Maison Four à Chaux, we had a great holiday in this amazing property which was clean, very comfortable and very spacious inside and out. Lovely large heated pool and an excellent games barn which included skittles alley and table tennis. We were greeted by Yvonne who was great and very knowledgeable of the local area and was easily contactable (as were the owners) if there was any issues (which there weren't). We would definitely recommend Maison Four à Chaux.
First things first - Karen, Russell and the girls (Mack and Mabel) are wonderful hosts. Warm, friendly, thoughtful and yet discreet. They love what they're doing and it shows as nothing is too much trouble. Their enthusiasm for their ventures (current and future) is infectious. Secondly is the 'Loft du Vigneron' - a fabulous property offering everything - and more - that you could hope for. Karen and Russell's sense of style has been imprinted on it and their attention to detail has left nothing wanting. Every comfort has been considered from the fabulous welcoming pack to 'The White Company' range of toiletries. The terrace was our favourite place with the sun streaming through the roof and the warm breeze cooling us down. Rieux-Minervois is a typical French village and perfectly situated to explore the entire Minervois region from Carcassonne in the West, East to the Mediterranean, and all the lovely historical villages North and South. In conclusion, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful property with the perfect hosts - highly recommended without hesitation. Our very best wishes for every success in you new venture. Un accueil très sympathique. Le lieu est très calme tout en permettant les visites des sites touristiques. La cuisine est très bien équipée. Nous avons apprécié de découvrir l'histoire familiale (qui gère le musée Napoléon tout proche)
Week-end entre amies. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. La maison de David et Kirstie est magnifique. L’environnement est très calme et reposant. La maison est très grande, les chambres sont spacieuses, la literie confortable. Chaque chambre est équipée d’une salle de bain. David et Kirstie sont des hôtes très à l’écoute et disponibles. Je recommande.

Wonderful house full of character. My family had so much fun in the sparkling clean pool. All was laid on in the house and everything so clean.
Piglet is the prfect spot to visit all the graet spots in the Vendée, our favourite being La Rochelle and the Belugas beach. There are wonderful touches of luxury at the house; beautiful linens, towels and bathrobes. Vouvant is a charming and beautiful village. definitely a fabulous find !
Nous avons passé un agréable séjour entre amis dans la proproété plein de charme de Stanislas. Nous étions 12 adultes avec enfants et les deux maisons nous ont permis d'avoir chacun notre espace privatif, c'était agréable. Mention spéciale pour l'extérieur qui offre une vue dégagée, avec beaucoup de végétation. Et un entretien impeccable. Je recommande ce logement :)
Notre famille de cinq personnes passe une semaine idyllique au Mas Paradou : une expérience délicieuse à tous points de vue ! Chaque aspect était magnifique et encore meilleur que sur les photos : le confort et le design de chaque pièce, la collection d'œuvres d'art et de musique, la cuisine bien équipée, le jardin et la piscine. Le propriétaire était très serviable. Notre arrivée et notre départ se sont bien déroulés. La propriété était bien entretenue, à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur. Nous avons adoré les vélos et les casques ! L'immense salle de musique et la sonorisation étaient fabuleuses ! Cuisiner les repas était un grand plaisir. Le village de Paradou est l'un de nos préférés dans toute la France et nous avons marché et fait du vélo dans toutes les directions. Nous espérons revenir pour un autre séjour de paradis dans ce magnifique mas.
Que dire ? Nous avons vraiment passé une semaine merveilleuse dans la magnifique Maison Camirout. Un grand merci à Madeline et Alan ! Vous êtes des hôtes fabuleux. La région est magnifique et votre maison et votre piscine sont tout simplement exceptionnelles !

A wonderful relaxing part of our trips spent in Montsoreau, living the dream! While really enjoying the local cafe/restaurants we made great and regular contact with the local boulangerie, boucher and wine producer who are all starts of their trade. Living local in Montsoreau for 2 weeks was great fun and delicious and... the accommodation provided us with the quiet and rest we needed. Spacious and with a place to read and watch the river on the terrace. Thank you.

Spacious and very pleasant house, in a quiet area, close to shops and restaurants . Welcoming and responsive host. Pool clean and so refreshing in hot weather. The village is very pretty and lively in the summer. We'll be back.
What a stunning location. We have had a wonderful week and extremely sad to be leaving this idyllic spot. The house is incredibly well appointed and kitted out with everything we could possibly have needed. We spent the week relaxing and fitting in the odd wine tasting, horse ridding lessons for our two girls and visiting the brilliant goat farm! Thank you so much for the incredible stay!
