Thank-you, Jean and Martin, for a fabulous two week stay in your lovely gîte. We had everything we needed to make it a very special relaxing holiday. The outdoor BBQ area has been put to great use! We have enjoyed many evenings outside drinking and eating. It was great having your input for ideas and suggestions for things to do and places to visit. The pool is perfect and we have enjoyed using the lovely gazebo area. The garden is a beautiful retreat in which to fully unwind and enjoy the abundant birdlife, especially first thing in the morning. We have really enjoyed watching the wood pecker, especially gathering food for the offspring! Lauzun provided the perfect location to start our many heavenly bike rides and to explore the fascinating bastide towns of Issigeac, Villereal and Eymet. We also visited the prehistoric cave-Grotte de Font Gaume and highly recommend, (pre-book tickets online). We look forward to coming back soon and seeing you again.

We were blown away by the stylish and lovingly-renovated accommodation and enjoyed spending our time here very much. De retour d'Australie avec ma famille d'Angleterre. Nous avons eu une chaleur étouffante ici, alors nous avons adoré nager dans votre belle piscine et nous avons été ravis d'être à nouveau ici. Merci Jackie.
Thank you so much for letting us stay in your lovely house. We were lucky enough to see the (almost) full moon rising from the perfect spot in the garden on our first night. We loved the house and pool and most of all the beautiful views. To be in a village and yet so quiet is unique. We very much hope to come back.
A totally unique experience staying in a tower with a wonderful panorama view of the sea. You can spend hours sitting on the balcony, watching the tide go in and out and the ships coming into La Havre in the distance. At night when the tide is in, the sound of the sea is fantastic and almost feels like you are sleeping on the beach. The tower itself is nicely decorated, clean and kitted out with everything you might need for a holiday. The furniture and fittings are intelligently laid out to maximise the space at all levels so it doesn't feel cramped. Villerville itself was a charming, quiet seaside town with a few bistros and shops, perfect for escaping the usual hoards of tourists elsewhere on the Normandy coast. Definitely worthy of 4.5 star rating and only reasons for not getting 5 stars are lack of free parking on site (although plenty on the side streets behind the tower) and some evenings when the tide is out you get the occasional teenagers listening to music on the sea front until late at night.
We’ve enjoyed two wonderful weeks in and around Villa Lavinière Thanks to the air conditioning we survived the heatwave comfortably. What a great, well-equipped house, garden and pool! Communication with you was very good, supportive and kind. The views from the first floor were beautiful. We had one of the best holiday houses we’ve ever stayed in. We also enjoyed Grand Café Occitan, Les Mûriers (La Livinière), L’Atelier (Caunes), Béziers (brocante market) and Lagrasse.
Quelle semaine fantastique nous avons eue. Merci beaucoup pour votre hospitalité. Notre fils a adoré le trampoline et la piscine et nos filles ont adoré jouer sous les arbres ombragés de votre magnifique jardin. Les roses sont magnifiques et leur odeur a rempli nos journées paresseuses. Excellente maison, beau jardin, commodités fantastiques à proximité et nous avons vraiment apprécié Saumur aussi. Nous espérons revenir très bientôt s'il vous plaît. En attendant, merci beaucoup.

We could not have made a better decision than to come to Villa La Baronne to spend the end of the year. The house is magnificent, the location unbeatable both for the surroundings (the river, the forest, the small towns...) and the proximity to Toulouse. The house has the services you expect and much more. An excellent experience that I hope we can repeat again. Thanks to Isabelle and Philippe for offering Villa La Baronne guests a five-star stay. Notre séjour était parfait, la maison était impeccable tout le confort dont nous avions besoin et tout était neuf. Eva nous a conseillé pour pleins de choses, le contact était parfait toujours à l'écoute et bienveillante. Merci pour ce séjour si agréable.

Nous avons passé un séjour très relaxant, certains jours au bord de la piscine et d'autres à visiter la vallée de la Loire, les vignobles, châteaux et jolis villages. La maison, la piscine et le hamac étaient fantastiques!
Après un début de séjour frais et pluvieux, nous avons passé une magnifique semaine ensoleillée à explorer les environs de ce charmant cottage tout équipé. Nous avons même fait un plongeon dans la piscine immaculée ! Merci Caterina, Steve et Bennie.
Les Chapoux is truly a terrific holiday destination, the property is located in a lovely area and it is easy to access local towns and villages with supermarkets in easy reach. As to the property it is charming, there is plenty of room with comfortable beds and all the amenities you could need. The pool is great and the 3 generations of our family spent many an hour in and around it. The owners are very helpful and made us feel most welcome. Definitely one to visit.
Nous avons passé une semaine parfaite dans cette magnifique maison. Autant nous avons adoré sortir et nous promener, autant nous avons adoré passer des journées paresseuses autour de la piscine - cela a été un véritable défi de la laisser ! Nous y sommes parvenus à quelques reprises et entre nous, les temps forts ont été de vraies balades à vélo sur des routes de campagne tranquilles, l'exploration de belles petites villes aux alentours, la visite incontournable d'un château (Chenonceau est un must - arrivez tôt) et bien sûr, le simple fait d'être en France. Merci de nous avoir permis d'entrer dans votre maison très spéciale - vous êtes des hôtes charmants et j'espère que nos chemins se croiseront à nouveau à l'avenir. Merci beaucoup!
Loved the location and the winding lane down to the property. Arrived to find a hidden and very private garden that was wonderfully lit at night and with a beautiful pool. Total silence and never saw or heard another person in the week we were there. If you’re looking for a quiet week away from the hassles of a hectic world, then this is the place for you!
Perfect romantic getaway. Maison Meunier is set in the beautiful grounds, next to the old mill, overlooking the lake. The cottage is beautifully furnished and has its own patio and pool. The facilities are superb, the grounds are well manicured, lovely for walks and there is a fabulous games room where you can meet up with other guests for a drink and a chat and maybe a game of pool. A stroll into the village to sample the local fair is a must, the villagers made us very welcome. There are a number of local market towns (bastides) and châteaux close by including Monpazier a lively bastide with many shops and restaurants to enjoy. The owners were really helpful with advice on where to go and what to do, they couldn't do enough for us. Fabulous holiday.

La villa est joliment décorée et nous l'avons tous trouvée très confortable. Nous avons passé deux belles semaines à explorer les environs, sans une seule minute de télévision ! A magical week in a lovely house. Very spacious and well equipped.
Superbe hébergement dans un endroit fabuleux ! Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour – le gîte était tout simplement parfait pour nous. Au calme, avec de grands espaces extérieurs et une belle piscine. Le gîte est très bien équipé et meublé avec goût, avec tout le nécessaire pour un séjour loin de chez soi. Mark a été très accueillant et nous a bien conseillés pour nos besoins locaux. Nous avons profité de ses relations pour visiter une incroyable distillerie de cognac/pineau locale et avons terminé la journée en cuisinant au gîte par Reza Mahammad (chef réputé au répertoire culinaire exceptionnel). Ce moment a été d'autant plus agréable lorsque Reza a partagé avec nous l'histoire et les origines des plats que nous avons dégustés – un vrai régal ! Nous recommandons la propriété comme une excellente option pour les couples ou les familles qui recherchent le calme tout en étant à proximité de nombreuses villes et attractions intéressantes.
Nous avons vraiment aimé la propriété et les hôtes étaient charmants. Nous avons adoré. Merci.

Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit ! Nous avons séjourné avec une famille de 8 personnes et avons passé un merveilleux séjour. La piscine est super, il y a un tennis de table et un grand et beau jardin. Il y a beaucoup de terrasses différentes où s'asseoir/se détendre/déjeuner et dîner. La cuisine est bien équipée, il y a une grande cuisinière et un barbecue pour cuisiner à l'extérieur. C'est calme et il y a beaucoup d'intimité. Sam et son mari sont très sympathiques, communicatifs et serviables. Nous avons loué les vélos électriques pendant deux jours et avons apprécié le cadre magnifique et rustique. Il y a un court de tennis à proximité auquel il est très facile d'accéder. En fait, nous ne pouvons rien trouver contre cet endroit, c'est vraiment super !

We had all been looking forward to this holiday and nothing disappointed - we have all had a wonderful time and at least we christened the pool! The time has passed so quickly - thank you for your wonderful hospitality, as always. We are looking forward to seeing you again this October.
Merci pour cette semaine très agréable à la Maison Brunet. C'était l'endroit idéal où passer plusieurs jours passionnants. Le Gouffre de Padirac, les hauteurs rocheuses de Rocamadour, la cité médiévale de Monpazier et bien d'autres choses encore… Mais c'était toujours un plaisir de revenir à la Maison Brunet.
