Thank you for another lovely holiday at the Loft - it has been as perfect as we remembered! We had a great time here for 2 weeks with the family. The house is well equipped and the family really enjoyed the pool.

Nous étions une famille de sept adultes et avons passé une semaine merveilleuse à Challignac. Mark et Gary sont vraiment des hôtes exceptionnels. Le gîte était magnifiquement présenté et d'une propreté impeccable. Tout le nécessaire avait été soigneusement mis à disposition, y compris un savon liquide de luxe: inutile donc d'apporter le vôtre. La cuisine était exceptionnellement bien équipée, avec tous les ustensiles et appareils électroménagers nécessaires. Et si quelque chose manquait, Mark et Gary se sont fait un plaisir de le fournir ! À notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec un généreux choix de fromages, charcuteries, pains, en-cas, vins, bières, boissons sans alcool, thé et café ; un accueil parfait qui nous a évité de courir faire les courses. L'espace piscine était tout simplement divin : une superbe piscine chauffée entourée de nombreux sièges extérieurs et d'une superbe cuisine extérieure. Tout était réuni pour se détendre et profiter. Même si la météo n'était pas toujours de notre côté, nous en avons profité pour explorer les villages et les grandes villes des environs. Nous avons dégusté de délicieux repas dans les restaurants recommandés par nos hôtes. Dans l'ensemble, tout le monde s'est bien amusé et nous reviendrons sans hésiter. Un grand merci à Mark et Gary !
Une semaine fantastique à la villa. Nous avons eu la chance d'obtenir une réservation de dernière minute alors que des restrictions de voyage étaient en place. Nous étions un peu inquiets à l'idée de voyager à cette période, mais nous nous sommes toujours sentis en sécurité et accueillis par les locaux. Nous sommes si heureux d'être venus ! La villa est très bien équipée et Frédéric a été très instructif et serviable. L'argument de vente majeur pour nous était la magnifique piscine et les jardins ainsi que le cadre magnifique et la vue imprenable sous tous les angles ! Nous avons passé de nombreuses soirées à manger du fromage et à boire du vin tout en regardant le coucher du soleil, puis en contemplant le ciel étoilé. C'est certainement l'une des plus belles régions de France où nous sommes allés aussi. Nous avons apprécié les marchés locaux du matin et du soir à Duras, descendre la rivière Dropt en kayak et nous recommandons de visiter les villes et villages locaux comme Eymet, Villeréal et d'autres mentionnés dans le guide. Saint-Émilion est aussi un lieu de prédilection des familles et la visite est incontournable ! Nous avons maintenant une voiture pleine de vin ! Merci pour une semaine incroyable! Nous espérons revenir bientôt.
What an amazing week in a stunning home. The house is exquisitely designed and the attention to detail is fantastic. The views are beautiful and the area so quiet and peaceful. I slept in one of the bedrooms on the ground floor and had the best night's sleep I've had for years… the mattress is heavenly. Not many people can lie in bed watching red squirrels leaping through the surrounding trees can they! The small kitchen area on the ground floor along with the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms means the whole floor can be very separate and quiet if two families were to share the house. The middle floor is a great entertaining space with a spotless and very modern kitchen with dining / living area leading out to the garden and pool. It was a real treat to have the local bar / restaurant within a short walking distance. It's very easy to sit and enjoy the local wine! The one thing I hadn't bargained for was the abundance of wildlife, although with the roads being so quiet I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised. The red squirrels and deer can be seen from the balconies and fantastic infinity pool overlooking the valley. The cushions for the outdoor furniture are very comfy. Once again, there are various areas to sit / eat and enjoy the garden if different age groups or families stay here. So to sum it all up…a fab holiday home in beautiful surroundings – 10 / 10. PS If you attempt the puzzle in the games cupboard… start it as soon as you arrive because it's tricky but irresistible!

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour à la Maison Baleyssagues. La maison était exactement comme décrite et nous nous sommes immédiatement sentis comme à la maison. Excellent emplacement, belle piscine, chambres et lits parfaits. Un grand merci également à l'hôte Frédéric. Nous reviendrons certainement.
Thanks for a truly wonderful week. The house, garden and pool are really fabulous. We had a wonderfully relaxing time and didn't do as much exploring as we should have done as we couldn't tear ourselves away from the garden / pool. Don't miss Friday evening in Pézenas with the high street market, food, wine and music.
Nous avons passés un week-end tout simplement exceptionnel. Le château est très confortable avec une salle de bain par chambre, la rénovation extrêmement bien pensée et le soucis du détails très appréciable. C'est moderne et fonctionnel. Le chauffage fonctionne parfaitement bien. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut sur place (cuisine très fournie, chaine hifi, vidéoprojecteur...) L'animation dégustation de vin remplie le week-end et les balades dans les vignes au pieds du château sont top. Le personnels sur place est parfait.
Merci pour ces vacances merveilleusement relaxantes et confortables au Mas Saint-Martial ! Nous sommes une famille de quatre personnes avec des adolescents (plus un chien) et nous avons passé 2 semaines fabuleuses à la maison. La piscine était le point culminant - chauffée, eau salée et entièrement fermée pour la sécurité - des moments fantastiques en famille et des souvenirs créés en jouant ensemble. Le terrain de pétanque, de badminton et le barbecue étaient également d'excellents moyens de nous divertir. Les propriétaires vivent une partie de l'année dans la maison voisine et sont extrêmement réactifs, solidaires et accueillants tout en vous laissant suffisamment d'espace pour profiter de l'isolement et de la paix des lieux. En termes de restaurants, il y a beaucoup d'endroits à des prix très raisonnables à une courte distance en voiture - il y a aussi beaucoup de bons endroits à visiter - Aubeterre (avec un parcours de golf de 9 trous) et Brantôme étaient des points forts pour nous. Nous avons même marché jusqu'au restaurant local de 5 plats Chez Moran, qui était incroyable et pas cher! Leurs événements nocturnes occasionnels avec de la musique et le fourgon fish and chips sont très amusants. Un vrai bijou, ce lieu. Merci!
We had an amazing stay here in Narbonne! The photos you see are beautiful but the house is even better in person. It was so comfortable, beautful decor, thoughtful touches (like throw blankets, baskets for market, plenty of closet space with extra hangers, extensive kitchen equipment, more...), gorgeous lighting and cozy/high quality bedding (so important when travelling). We felt so at home and enjoyed our down time while in the house!The sunroom was our sanctuary during our stay... our reading room while there... the natural light is so perfect with the back sliding window open and the breeze coming in! Heaven!

We stayed at Maison Rohmer for a week at the beginning of September 2017. The house was delightful and the pool area very beautiful. We had a brilliant week with fantastic weather. We loved the village of Gordes so magical and magnificent. Market day on Tuesdays is a must. There is so much to see and do though I must admit we did a lot of lazy days by the pool. Things I would recommend a visit to Domaine De La Citadelle vineyard, beautiful wines and a very informative talk on how they produce. We also had a fabulous canoe trip with canoe evasion at Fontaine-de- Vaucluse. It's a must. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back one day.
This is the most wonderful place to have a family holiday; beautifully furnished, spotless, spacious and as peaceful as you could possibly hope a holiday to be. The pool is glorious, we spent hours playing table tennis, had wonderful meals on the big table outside and we watched the stars at night time. In the local area are vineyards, beautiful mediaeval towns and castles and lots of lovely food to be found in markets. It’s a perfect place for a happy holiday.
We have enjoyed a 2-week stay at Laserne gite. We were Pete’s first guests last year and our second visit has been as special as our first stay. Pete has been a delightful host, checking on us daily to make sure everything was OK. The pool has been such a delight in this hot and sunny weather. The highlights of our stay are the wonderful views from the gite and the tranquillity of furniture and fittings.
Nous avons trouvé la propriété par hasard il y a quelques années et nous y sommes retournés deux fois depuis et nous y retournerons avec nos enfants de 4 et 6 ans en juillet! Nous en sommes venus à la considérer comme notre deuxième chez-nous en France. La maison est magnifiquement située et l'intérieur autant que l'extérieur permettent des vacances en famille fabuleuses. La piscine sur la terrasse inférieure est suffisamment isolée pour s'éloigner des enfants en toute sécurité et l'alarme de piscine ajoute ce niveau supplémentaire de confort. Les propriétaires continuent de bien entretenir et d'améliorer la propriété. Le nouvel espace barbecue sur la terrasse est utilisé quotidiennement pour les déjeuners et dîners avec vue sur la vallée. La courte promenade jusqu'au village est aisée et évite d'avoir à se soucier des voitures et du parking, bien qu'un verre ou deux de vin de Provence aide à remonter la colline par la suite, ce qui pourrait être un défi pour les moins mobiles. La plupart des voitures de location peuvent emprunter la voie menant à la maison (nous avions une Volvo C90 l'année dernière et elle passait bien), mais si vous avez un véhicule très large, le passage peut être un peu étroit pour manœuvrer au coin au bout du chemin. La maison est parfaite pour profiter d'une merveilleuse escapade à une ou deux familles.
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille chez Helen ! Nous avons apprécié le cadre idyllique de la maison avec vue sur le château de Margon depuis la piscine. Piscine également très agréable. Le logement était extrêmement bien équipé, il avait tout le nécessaire pour passer un bon séjour et profiter au maximum du potentiel de la maison. Un petit plus pour les ventilateurs dans les chambres du sous-sol, qui nous ont permis de dormir pendant les grosses chaleurs. La grande table à l'extérieur nous a permis de prendre nos repas tous ensemble, en profitant du beau soleil. Nous pouvons recommander cette superbe maison, Merci !

Very pleasant and restful stay for an extended family. My extended family and I stayed at Château Velouse for two weeks in August. It was a delightful time. The hosts are exceptional. We were treated to a warm welcome after arriving later than usual, after a long and tiring journey. All we needed for supper and the following day's breakfast was provided free and with no fuss. That set the tone for the rest of the stay. The hosts couldn't have been more friendly and helpful throughout our time there. Château Velouse easily absorbs a large number of people. High ceilings and wide hallways give a great sense of space. The rooms are large and comfortable. The ensuites are of a high standard and the grounds are magnificent. We all had a magical time. Our sincere thanks to Claire and Phil and Alex for all you did to make this post wedding get together a wonderful success.
This place is truly magical. It’s clean and spacious with scenic surroundings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and couldn’t recommend it enough!
Villa Funel était très propre, la cuisine bien équipée, les chambres, confortables et l'ensemble très lumineux et aéré. Le lecteur DVD et sa DVDthèque ont été super pour les fins de soirée. La piscine et le jardin sont un délice. Nous nous sommes bien reposés. Nous y retournerons très certainement.

We are finally home and now reflecting on happy memories of our wonderful holiday in France and particularly our 10 nights spent here. Where do we begin to ever thank you for all that you did and for making our holiday so special. We felt like we had our own personal butler looking after us throughout our stay. Even prior to our arrival we welcomed the emails, the ease of booking and then promptly replying to any query that we had , as well as the phone call to offer help and support the week before we were scheduled to arrive. We really appreciated the welcome basket of goodies and all the other little things that you had thoughtfully put in the fridge, making our arrival into the gîte a very warm and welcome one. Your 'blood, sweat and tears' have truly paid off as we could see the attention to detail that has gone in to making this a luxury gîte for your guests. We noticed the quality of furnishings and fittings, bed linen, sumptuous soft towels and then separate towels laid out for us by the pool, all of which made for an exciting stay ahead! The beds were extremely comfortable and accompanied by the peace and tranquility at night meant we both woke each morning feeling fully refreshed! We particularly enjoyed our time spent around the swimming pool and also using the outdoor kitchen/BBQ. Everything was spotlessly clean and we know that you ensured the pool area was cleaned down for us every morning. We were blessed with good weather too. The views from the terrace were stunning and we never tired from sitting there overlooking the local Cuzorn area and the valley beyond. It was a pleasure getting to know you and hearing about your journey from Essex to Lot-et-Garonne. For us, as first guests it was a privilege staying at Lasserre and we will be talking about you and our holiday for years to come. I equally hope that for you and Kate your first guests did not let you down and we have left a wonderful impression on you too! We sincerely hope that you are rewarded for the fruits of your labour and whilst we would like you to have a busy season, just secretly we would like to keep this little bit of heaven purely for us!
