Nous avons passé un excellent séjour ici. Nous avons vraiment apprécié la piscine quand il faisait chaud, le barbecue la plupart des soirs et l'exploration de la ville. Nous avons également adoré découvrir les villes voisines. Le kayak a été un moment fort. Merci pour ce merveilleux séjour.
Un petit coin de paradis ! Tout est parfait : la maison, les extérieurs, la décoration, l'atmosphère.
Kim est très réactive lors de la communication. De plus, elle est très accueillante et arrangeante. Je recommande grandement Kim et son gîte.
Nous avons tellement apprécié notre semaine dans votre belle maison et votre jardin. Merci d'avoir recommandé le château et les jardins de Villandry - nous l'avons adoré et ce lieu vaut la peine d'être visité. L'abbaye de Fontevraud était intéressante et située dans un joli coin.
Highly recommended. The house was very spacious, tidy and even more beautiful than in the photos. There is a large beautiful and enclosed garden and by the pool a nice terrace. The owner were really friendly and helpful. Both we and our 5 dogs had a great vacation. We will definitely go back again!
Lovely spacious house, at the edge of a village. Beautiful pool area and pool house with shaded eating area. Excellent bathrooms and spacious modern shower facilities. Useful utility area. Lovely quiet setting. Good shop in next village, 4 miles away but bread machine just near property. House was lovely and clean and excellent welcome from caretaker.
My wife and I have been visiting France for over 20 years and The Loft is the best property we have stayed at. The photographs on the website do not do it justice. Russell and Karen have fitted out The Loft with wonderful taste and all of the bathrooms are top quality including the selection of toiletries left for their guests to use. Their attention to detail is second to none. We received an extensive welcome pack when we arrived at the house and Karen even delivered fresh pastries for breakfast on the Sunday morning from the local Boulangerie. Outside the house there is a beautiful pool and garden but the jewel in the crown is the large sheltered "porch area". This is a half open and half covered space off the front of The Loft where you can choose sun or shade during the day. The BBQ is there along with a big dining table and also sofas for relaxing. It’s a fab place to eat and drink during the day or on an evening with a lovely view of the extensive gardens. Rieux Minervois is a nice little town situated in the middle of the Minervois wine region It has a good Italian restaurant within 2 minutes walk from the house, which Karen kindly booked it for us for the night we arrived. The food was very good. The town is also well placed to visit Carcassonne, Narbonne and several of the coastal towns; we particularly enjoyed Gruissan. It is also surrounded by many other small villages with excellent restaurants if you want enjoy a lazy lunch during your holiday. Karen will even book them for you if you ask. Overall we spent a lovely week in The Languedoc. Thank you Russell and Karen for your hospitality and for going to such lengths to make our holiday so memorable.

A totally unique experience staying in a tower with a wonderful panorama view of the sea. You can spend hours sitting on the balcony, watching the tide go in and out and the ships coming into La Havre in the distance. At night when the tide is in, the sound of the sea is fantastic and almost feels like you are sleeping on the beach. The tower itself is nicely decorated, clean and kitted out with everything you might need for a holiday. The furniture and fittings are intelligently laid out to maximise the space at all levels so it doesn't feel cramped. Villerville itself was a charming, quiet seaside town with a few bistros and shops, perfect for escaping the usual hoards of tourists elsewhere on the Normandy coast. Definitely worthy of 4.5 star rating and only reasons for not getting 5 stars are lack of free parking on site (although plenty on the side streets behind the tower) and some evenings when the tide is out you get the occasional teenagers listening to music on the sea front until late at night.
A hidden gem and offering us everything we could ever want and more. Thank you for providing a home from home experience plus pure escapism. Corinne is an angle.
Quel merveilleux séjour nous avons passé dans cette magnifique villa. Nous ne pouvions sortir de la piscine car nous avons eu beaucoup de chance avec le temps. Les jouets gonflables de la piscine étaient fantastiques, les enfants et les adultes ont apprécié de se prélasser dans la piscine pendant des heures ! Nous avons passé de superbes soirées à Sarlat au « Pub » en regardant les artistes de rue. La villa est très bien équipée et aménagée, ce qui nous permet d'avoir notre propre espace ainsi qu'un espace où se regrouper. Nous espérons revenir l'année prochaine.
Lovely private pool and terrace with comfortable accommodation in a picturesque village. Hosts were discrete but friendly and very helpful. The restaurant a short stroll away is definitely worth a visit. Nice walks on the doorstep.
Un endroit incroyable et merveilleux où séjourner ! Nous n'y avons passé qu'une semaine, mais ce fut une semaine très spéciale. Notre premier séjour en Dordogne a été encore plus inoubliable grâce à ce gîte de conte de fées. Les propriétaires ont tout prévu pour des vacances inoubliables. Ce sont des hôtes parfaits ! Le gîte était parfait, propre et très confortable, sans oublier la piscine, un vrai plus. Nous recommandons vivement ce magnifique gîte et son emplacement pour des vacances reposantes !
Ouah! Vous avez un morceau de perfection ici ! J'ai été tellement détendu pendant 2 semaines ici. La piscine a été mon réconfort avec le soleil chaud. L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue est un endroit charmant avec de nombreuses belles boutiques et des marchés fantastiques. Merci de nous avoir permis de séjourner ici. J'espère revenir.
Super séjour dans cette sublime villa ! On s'y sent bien, comme à la maison... Nous y avons passé du bon temps... bien trop court une semaine ! À très bientôt.

First things first - Karen, Russell and the girls (Mack and Mabel) are wonderful hosts. Warm, friendly, thoughtful and yet discreet. They love what they're doing and it shows as nothing is too much trouble. Their enthusiasm for their ventures (current and future) is infectious. Secondly is the 'Loft du Vigneron' - a fabulous property offering everything - and more - that you could hope for. Karen and Russell's sense of style has been imprinted on it and their attention to detail has left nothing wanting. Every comfort has been considered from the fabulous welcoming pack to 'The White Company' range of toiletries. The terrace was our favourite place with the sun streaming through the roof and the warm breeze cooling us down. Rieux-Minervois is a typical French village and perfectly situated to explore the entire Minervois region from Carcassonne in the West, East to the Mediterranean, and all the lovely historical villages North and South. In conclusion, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful property with the perfect hosts - highly recommended without hesitation. Our very best wishes for every success in you new venture. This is an ideal holiday home if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing time surrounded by beautiful countryside. There are no other houses nearby, yet you are only a 10 minute drive from the nearby Bastide of Monpazier and larger town of Villareal, where there are shops, restaurants, markets etc. The pool is a good size and well maintained and the house is very well equipped. We have been coming to France for over 10 years and this is the only property which has enticed us back for 2 years running.

Beautiful renovation with the charm of old stones and the modernity of interior materials. Premium interior equipment. Absolute calm, without proximity to the road. Very comfortable for this property. Christophe available, nice and helpful. It was perfect.
Résidence absolument divine. Cuisine fantastique et bien équipée. Parc magnifique et Jennifer était disponible pour nous aider pour tout, de la recherche d'un excellent bar de plage jusqu'aux réservations. Nous n'aurions pas pu apprécier davantage notre séjour.

Wonderful time with the big family. The beautiful Château Velouse offers plenty of space for a large family or friends, with a great kitchen, a large dining room and a cozy living room. Almost each of the eight traditionally decorated bedrooms are having their own modern bathroom. The huge park is great for own dogs, which you can easy bring with you.
Quel bel endroit. Nous étions vraiment heureux de nous reposer là-bas. Votre maison est magnifique et la piscine est parfaite. Nous avons passé des vacances très agréables. Même si c'était tard dans la saison, nous avons eu 2 semaines de beau temps et avons même pu aller à la plage. De très belles plages ! Un séjour fantastique. Nous avons adoré Pézenas et avons souvent visité la ville. Nous recommandons vivement la villa. C'est vraiment magnifique et notre hôte est très accueillante. Nous espérons revenir bientôt.
