Great vacation spent in Le Mas de Combet! Quiet house in the countryside with a superb pool. We were able to enjoy all the amenities on site. Thank you to our host for their excellent welcome and availability throughout the stay. We really recommend this property for a week with friends.
Un charme fou. Nous y avons passé une semaine début juillet 2020 en famille, et nous avons été sous le charme de ce superbe endroit et de ses alentours. La demeure est très confortable, très spacieuse, avec toutes les facilités souhaitées. Les pièces de vie tout comme les chambres sont très agréables. Les aménagements extérieurs également. Les propriétaires disponibles et très accueillants. Le Borghesia est extrêmement bien situé, près d'une plage de galets en bord de rivière et ainsi que près de nombreuses excursions intéressantes en tout genre. Nous recommandons vivement ce lieu où nous avons passé de magnifiques vacances.

Best villa in 15 years of visiting France. Pool was wonderful and essential for cooling off when the temperatures exceeded 30 degrees. Super area for cycling and hiking. Best meal was at L'Aspargus (Valros) - well worth the drive. Best meals in Pézenas at Les Marronniers.
Our stay here was the highlight of our recent trip to the South of France. From the minute we drove through the gates we were impressed by the beautiful gardens, house and pool. It is truly a magnificent French retreat and estate. I couldn't recommend the house more highly and I am already planning another trip there soon.
I would, rather belatedly, like to say how much we (5 adults and two girls aged 3 and 6) enjoyed our stay end of May in Maison La Perouse. The gorgeous house worked well for our 3 generations; it was so comfortable and very well equipped. Although the weather wasn’t brilliant the girls played and ran around in the fabulous garden whenever possible. However the trampoline was the highlight for them. The pool and fab BBQ were at their best on the last 2 days when the sun eventually showed its face. Finally, Sue was a fabulous host and always on hand when needed, especially when I tripped the dryer. She took all the wet washing, used her own dryer and then hung everything up - such service! This is a wonderful house, not just for families but for everyone who likes comfort, space and great tourist destinations within about an hours drive. Thank you Sue and Pure France.
It was everything we dreamed it would be and more. We loved the pool and the house had all we needed for a great holiday.
Mas du Château was simply perfect. It was spotless, comfortable, peaceful and he was a wonderful host; nothing was too much trouble. We couldn’t have asked for anything more and didn’t want to leave.

Nous avons eu la chance de rester dans la propriété pendant une semaine. Hébergement 5 étoiles dans un magnifique village isolé de Montlaur, parfait pour explorer les régions viticoles environnantes. C'était vraiment des vacances incroyables et je le recommande vivement pour une escapade romantique tranquille ou des vacances en famille détendues. Et oh, ce balcon de Roméo et Juliette ! Hautement recommandé.
We had such a lovely stay at your house. A warm and lovelywelcome and you baked a delicious crumble for us! The house was perfect, playing ping-pong, badminton and of course swimming! Thanks for everything!

Nous faisons écho aux commentaires de vos précédents invités dans votre belle maison et votre jardin. L'attente a été longue avant d'arriver ici, mais cela en valait la peine. Tant de vignobles, tant de châteaux mais si peu de temps. L'un de nos souvenirs impérissables restera d'avoir eu pied au milieu de la Loire sur le lit de la rivière. Nous espérons que la rivière reviendra bientôt.
Nous avons passé un séjour très relaxant, certains jours au bord de la piscine et d'autres à visiter la vallée de la Loire, les vignobles, châteaux et jolis villages. La maison, la piscine et le hamac étaient fantastiques!
We have just returned from Villa La Baronne where our family of 15 had a wonderful time! The villa is exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. It is in an ideal location, less than a 10 minute drive to the nearest supermarket.
Lovely retreat set amongst fruit trees. We stayed at Maison Meunier for the middle week of a three week honeymoon in France. After spending the previous week in Paris it was the perfect contrast allowing us to slow the pace down a little and put our feet up. On arrival we were greeted by the owners who were very friendly and helpful offering advice when required. They're based on site but away from the property in the main buildings. The accommodation itself is lovely and really well equipped with everything you could ever need. Outside, the pool is great for cooling off during sunbathing and the view from the terrace is beautiful with quince, apple and fig trees between the property and the nearby lake. We spent most evenings cooking on the barbecue with the fabulous local produce we picked up from the market or supermarket. Nearby there are a number of châteaux to explore and also traditional bastide towns to wander round and grab a coffee or cold glass of champagne. All in all, a lovely stay at a lovely place. We wouldn't hesitate to return.

La maison est magnifique et très bien équipée, pour la cuisine ou pour les activités, tout est prévu pour passer un bon séjour. L’accueil est soigné avec des voisins tres sympathiques. Je recommande vivement le Château des grillauds pour un séjour au calme en Dordogne. Nous avons passé agréable séjour dans Château des Grillauds. La maison est très bien équipée. Il y a tout le nécessaire pour y passer de bonnes vacances en famille ou entre amis. Nous avons pu déjeuner à l'extérieur pour profiter du jardin et de la piscine. Je recommande vivement, nous reviendrons avec plaisir !
Merci pour votre accueil chaleureux. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, la maison est très agréable. Les salles de bains privatives sont un vrai + ainsi que la mise à disposition du sauna et du jacuzzi. Nous reviendrons !
Tres belle maison, parfaite pour un grand groupe de personnes comme le notre (10+, plusieurs familles). Tout est là pour les enfants! Hôtes tres accueillants qui ont répondu immédiatement lorsqu'il y avait une demande. En bordure d'un beau petit village, la majorité des choses à faire sont à environ 30-45 minutes de la maison. After 2.5 years in the making, everything conspired against us. Well worth the wait! The Loft is exactly as expected and the welcome even better! We loved the ambiance, the garden and the area after the last months of lockdown etc - it has been wonderful. We cannot thank you enough for your generosity - the mobility aid was indispensable and the evening spent getting to know you both was great. Can we also thank you for your incredibly comprehensive welcome pack. We enjoy cooking and we’re very grateful for the extras. Thank you Karen, for delivery on day one - BREAKFAST WAS BRILLIANT! We have really enjoyed the garden - a lot of hard work, we know, but much appreciated. We do hope we keep in touch as we will miss Russell’s lengthy epistles - always a good read! He should write a book; maybe the history of your home with the trials and tribulations of renovating thrown in (‘A Year - or Two - in Minervois’, perhaps?). If you are ever back in the region, you know where we are!

My family stayed here and we could not fault a single thing, everything was as described in the bio, people staying here are in for a real treat this is a great place to stay.
