On arrival at the Loft du Vigneron what a wonderful welcome we received, then only to find a delightfully designed, comfortable and well thought out accommodation. Thank you for being such great hosts. We are in awe of what you have achieved so far and wish you every success in completing this wonderful restoration and adventure in a beautiful part of France.
We felt truly privileged to have the opportunity to share our special family reunion together at your stunning home. Straight out of an interior design magazine! The countryside, local villages, food and wine were amazing. Can't wait to come back. Merci.
We absolutely loved being here. The home you’ve created is a beautiful entity, with such thought at every turn, and the surrounding gardens have a tremendous sense of peace. Thank you for all the well-planned details, and the delicious tart that awaited us (and therefore an introduction to the most incredible boulangerie!). We stayed in Jean and Martin’s beautiful Gite over the recent May Bank Holiday and we were absolutely delighted with our stay in every way we could possibly be! The Gite itself is immaculately appointed; it is beautifully in character and so generously equipped with all one needs for a seamless and relaxing stay. The kitchen boasts a washing machine and dishwasher - really useful for a longer stay . Great outside area with a bbq and an extra outside kitchen area, sink and 2nd fridge. The outside dining terrace is so comfortable and looks out on a beautifully maintained garden area with pool , sun chairs and gazebo - so comfy and relaxing. The bathroom is a very good size with both bath and shower. Upstairs are two generously sized bedrooms - one double and then a twin room.. Although my husband and I travelled with friends on this occasion, it was very apparent that the Gite is beautifully family friendly ; a cot and high chairs are also provided . The surrounding area is stunning - a few minutes walk to the local shops and cafes. Not far at all by car from many local beautiful areas and restaurants. Jean and Martin are perfect hosts - we honestly couldn’t ask for more and we will definitely be returning.
Nous regrettons de ne pas avoir réservé trois semaines ! Nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous dès notre arrivée chez les adorables Julian et Pascal. La piscine et le jardin sont magnifiques. Nous avons profité de la faune, des écureuils roux, des oiseaux, etc. Nous avons également eu la visite surprise de notre fils Oliver. Nous n'en avions aucune idée. Et la piscine !
Thank you very much indeed for renting your beautiful property to us for the past fortnight. My husband and I have been renting houses in France from time to time over the past thirty years. We are both agreed that Chez Pascale is the best and most generously equipped house that we have ever experienced. The setting, too, is delightful and so peaceful and quiet - a welcome change from our noisy city lives. We visited some of the local attractions which we enjoyed and agree that Sarlat, Domme and the surrounding villages and towns are justly famous for their scenic beauty and unique architecture as well as the local gastronomy. Our family members have now returned to their separate homes, but we will all retain some very happy memories of our holiday together in lovely Chez Pascale. Thank you, once more.
La maison est géniale, chaque chambre possède son indépendance en terme de douche et WC. Elle est très spacieuse et bien fournie: un billard, Ping pong, barbecue, rétroprojecteur, énorme cuisine/bar très bien équipée et piscine (non chauffée). L’hôtesse d’accueil est très sympa.
Thank you for the warm welcome - Rêve de Pêcheur is very charming. We enjoyed village life and visits to Château de Villandry, the Cadre Noir, Château de Langeais and Fontevraud Abbey.

Spent a lovely week here, Lived up to all our expectations. Wonderful setting with splendid views. Plenty of room to seat all of us for breakfast, lunch and dinner, in the sun or shade. The house wanted for nothing.
Nous avons été accueillis par Michael et sa femme qui nous ont fait faire une visite complète des Fumerates. Nous avons défait nos valises et avons pu nous imprégner de la beauté des lieux. Dès l'instant où nous sommes entrés, nous avons pu constater que beaucoup d'amour et de soins avaient été apportés à leur maison, jusque dans les moindres détails. L'emplacement, absolument parfait, à côté de l'une des plus belles villes perchées du sud de la France : Saint-Paul-de-Vence. Bel endroit à explorer et où sortir dîner en plein air. Ne manquez pas les restaurants Le Tilleul et La Colombe d'Or. Mais ne manquez pas non plus l'occasion de préparer votre propre dîner et de manger en plein air à la propriété. La vue sur la piscine, la ville et la mer azurée au loin ajoute à l’expérience culinaire ! Les Fumerates sont situés dans un endroit parfait - loin de l'agitation de Nice, Cannes et Monte Carlo et pourtant ces villes sont (vraiment) facilement accessibles. Un supermarché, une boulangerie et un grand centre commercial se trouvent à quelques minutes en voiture en bas de la colline. Nous en avons profité pour voir le plus de choses et de sites qu'il est possible de voir - oui, j'ai besoin de vacances après mes vacances ! Pendant la canicule en France, nous étions heureux de retourner dans la villa qui disposait de la climatisation dans le salon principal et dans toutes les chambres. Nous avons également bien profité de la magnifique piscine. À contrecœur, nous avons dû quitter Les Fumerates et continuer notre voyage vers la Provence. Nous aimerions sans aucun doute revenir - mais la prochaine fois avec un rythme plus tranquille ! En fonction de votre itinéraire pour visiter la Côte d'Azur, comme il y a tellement d'endroits à voir (nous ne sommes même pas allés en Italie), je vous conseille vivement d'envisager 2 semaines aux Fumerates. Vous ne le regretterez pas ! Vraiment une expérience mémorable pour la vie !
Everything has been so perfect and our time here has been extremely special. So perfect we rarely left the villa. Wonderful attention to detail – happy memories!!! Such a beautiful villa in a fantastic location. So many social areas and little places to hide in. An amazing week which I fear cannot be topped.

Beautiful house, best we have ever stayed in. All the comforts of home and so tastefully decorated. Will definitely be back with the family. We had a wonderful holiday.
One week was not long enough. Fabulous house - didn't want to leave. Visit Pézenas, just wonderful and great shopping.
Cet endroit est calme et grâce à la nature, qui nous a entourée, nous nous sommes totalement détendus… Le gîte est équipé de tout ce que nous avons besoin et Karine et Pascal sont toujours disponibles… Pour les futurs visiteurs, il y a des restaurants à recommander (selon notre opinion) à Vianne (l’Atypik), à Barbaste (la véranda), à Sérignac-sur-Garonne (Le Prince Noir), à Agen (Côté Sud)… Face au supermarché à Bras, vous trouverez une boucherie et une boulangerie traditionnelle… Nérac, Vianne, Pujols, Penne-d’Agenais sont des endroits à visiter ! Un tout grand merci !
Véritablement la maison de vacances la plus magique et la plus enchanteresse dans laquelle nous ayons séjourné. Les vues sont paradisiaques, le design et les caractéristiques architecturales de la maison, si merveilleuses et uniques, sont dignes de la caverne des merveilles. La maison est si ouverte, lumineuse et spacieuse avec tant de charmants coins salons à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur qu'elle vous procure un sentiment de joie positive. Merci!
Nous sommes venus à la Maison Baleyssagues tant de fois et encore une fois, ce fut un moment merveilleux. Il y a tellement de choses pour s'y divertir et rassembler la famille. Je ne veux pas partir mais je dois rentrer à la maison.

Un accueil parfait. Un séjour de rêve dans un gîte au top (équipement complet, couchage parfait…) Quant à la piscine qui de mieux au vu de la chaleur, les ados y ont passé le plus clair de leur temps (les parents n’ont pas été en reste). Un séjour qui restera par longtemps dans les mémoires.
Thank you both for the most wonderful stay at your beautiful villa. We’ve had the most incredible week exploring the South of France – an area we love – and discovering new places. This spot is extremely special and we’ve relished the relaxing days and evenings spent here (made even more special by the sighting of a wild boar with babies and your marvellous set up for the gorgeous cats) – thank you for showing us this! The secluded spot, surrounded by woodland, an aromatic and fragrant garden attracting many butterflies, a beautiful pool and terrace area is somewhere we won’t forget and would love to come back to. Everything has been thought of at this place which makes it so homely. Everything from kitchen utensils and supplies to the BBQ, bowls and the TV set-up – the place has it all. You have both been such friendly and discrete hosts, allowing us such privacy and the personality you have stamped on the place (from plants, to artwork and sculptures as well as the lovely cats) makes this space so full of character too. Thanks again and we wish you both the best – hopefully we’ll return in the future!
Un havre de paix idyllique dans la campagne gersoise. La chambre était d'un confort exceptionnel et offrait une vue imprenable sur les vignes. Notre hôte, David, nous a préparé un repas exceptionnel le soir de notre arrivée, ainsi qu'un petit-déjeuner français composé de fruits, de yaourts, de pain, de croissants, de fromage et de délicieuses confitures chaque matin. Il a également été d'une grande aide pour nous conseiller sur la région, les choses à voir et les restaurants. Une chambre d'hôte chaleureuse et accueillante. À recommander sans hésiter.
Comfortable. Well equipped château. Spacious. Well tended grounds. Stunning pool area, very inviting! All really good. Comfortable sitting area. Well organised roomy playroom being a real bonus. Kitchen well equipped for cooking. Helpful at all times and unobtrusive. Huge bonus having the daily housekeeping service as well as shopping service.
