Tout était magnifique à La Bastide 1718. Nous nous sommes rendus dans la région pour raisons professionnelles, ce qui a été particulièrement difficile en temps de pandémie et de confinement. Malgré cela, la villa et notre hôte Thomas ont rendu notre séjour le plus agréable possible dans ces circonstances. Thomas était toujours disponible, pour tous besoins. Très professionnel, gentil et attentionné. Honnêtement l’un des meilleurs hôtes qu’il m’a été donné de rencontrer! La villa est extraordinaire. Chaque chambre offre des standards hôteliers, depuis la literie, la climatisation et le chauffage, les salles de bain, jusqu’aux télévisions et à la décoration. La cuisine et les installations sont parfaitement équipées et entretenues, vous y trouverez tout ce dont vous aurez besoin. Nous avons passé chaque soirée dans le salon-salle à manger, avec un feu de cheminée, parfait pour que l’équipe se détende! Il y a tellement d’équipements dans la villa que vous ne vous ennuierez jamais. Le lieu est magnifique, et vaut largement la longue route à parcourir, pour y trouver tranquillité et un panorama splendide. Vous trouverez de nombreuses touches d’attention dans la villa, mais je ne préfère pas tout vous révéler. Chacune de ces attentions font de votre séjour un moment plus relaxant et inoubliable encore. Nous revenons tout juste de notre séjour au Petit Pigeonnier du Lot et tenions à vous faire découvrir le charme de cet endroit. La propriété est très confortable, avec une piscine magnifiquement entretenue dans un cadre enchanteur surplombant les vignes. Les propriétaires, Debbie et Rupert, sont très accueillants et serviables. Ils ne sont pas envahissants, mais font tout leur possible pour rendre nos vacances agréables. Tout était inclus, et Debbie nous a offert un délicieux yaourt maison au petit-déjeuner. La région est également magnifique à visiter. Située à la croisée des chemins, la campagne est unique et offre des sites incroyables à découvrir : de magnifiques villages, des vignobles, Cahors, la rivière Lot et sa vallée, le Peche Merle et son charmant petit musée de la préhistoire à Luzech, avec ses expositions fascinantes. Nous avons revisité des lieux que nous connaissions déjà et en avons découvert de nouveaux. Tout a été à la hauteur de nos attentes, et même plus.
Encore merci pour votre accueil, nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette magnifique maison ! Enfants comme adultes ont beaucoup apprécié le confort et la belle déco de la maison, le jardin, la piscine, le BBQ, tout était au TOP. On recommande et on reviendra !
One week was not long enough. Fabulous house - didn't want to leave. Visit Pézenas, just wonderful and great shopping.

Le Presbytère genuinely exceeded our expectations in all areas. We primarily booked this property for the covered eating and relaxing area adjacent to a fabulous heated pool and the number of bedrooms. The history and setting of the property and it's views to the rear over beautiful countryside, were a real bonus and joy. The wildlife was of real interest to us all and the table tennis was played regularly by us all. Mark and Amanda were friendly and keen to help with any queries we had. Thank you again and in particular for providing the electric fans which were essential during such a hot period in July. We don't usually return to the same property on holiday but just might make an exception with Le Presbytère!
What a magic place! We have loved every minute here. Pete is the most incredible host and we loved our evening chats. The kayaking has been the highlight, we loved Sarlat - Had a great lunch at Lou Podel and not forgetting the disco pool lights after dark. The kids loved it! We'll be back.
We spent 5 days in September in Château Entre-Deux-Mers, we were 4 couples of friends. It is an exceptional castle very well located with all modern luxury. The building, garden and pool are fascinating and the interior has been recently decorated with design furniture by a very talented architect offering a modern and luxurious experience. A superior place for demanding guests. We recommend to use the available local catering options (dinners and breakfast) who cook excellent meals with respect of local ingredients and recipes. Plenty of wine châteaux to visit in the surroundings and the city of Bordeaux is worth discovering for a guided tour, dinner or cultural activity. We will definitely come back!
Thank you so much for a wonderful stay in the Loft du Vigneron; we have had a wonderfully relaxing and luxurious stay. It's been lovely staying somewhere with an excellent kitchen and such well-appointed bathrooms. And the beds are exceptionally comfortable. Externally, your garden is absolutely stunning and such a fabulous surprise - we leave inspired! More than anything, it's been your warmth and generous hospitality which will stay with us.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les marchés, le vin et le village visités et les balades. Le temps a été beau et chaud. C'était merveilleux de revenir chaque jour dans une maison et des jardins aussi charmants, très bien aménagés et équipés. L'un de nous a particulièrement apprécié la piscine.
We are all having the most idyllic time here in your beautiful home - it is just perfect and so beautifully and tastefully presented - the weather is incredible and the pool in full use - we have visited Ilsle sur la Sourgue, Châteauneuf du Pap and the surrounding villages which are all charming - so all very well!

Les points forts incluent : La ville de Sarlat elle-même, le Gouffre de Padirac, Domme, Rocamadour, le canoë sur la Dordogne, la visite de Beynac et Castlenaud et bien sûr la piscine ! Nous avons passé des vacances fantastiques et inoubliables et espérons y retourner.
Une properiété absolument délicieuse dans une partie du monde magnifique. La propriété est très bien entretenue et rustique. Je peux la recommander à tout groupe envisageant un séjour en Dordogne. Notre séjour a été en mi-avril lorsque le temps commence à s'améliorer. 26 degrés lors de notre dernier jour, parfait!
We have all had a superb week. What a beautiful house and surroundings. Huge fun in the pool, long evenings on the stunning terrace watching the sun go down. Complete relaxation for us all. Younger folk tried the Pirate experience and really enjoyed it. We all went to Laparade - a huge open food festival, a sea of tables on the remparts (take your own cloth and plastic beakers!) and great music. A truly magical week we will all treasure. X
Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse dans ce magnifique château. Le cadre est splendide et les équipements sont impeccables. Les enfants ont adoré la grande piscine, et surtout le plongeoir. Nous serions ravis de revenir. Merci.
My wife and I have been visiting France for over 20 years and The Loft is the best property we have stayed at. The photographs on the website do not do it justice. Russell and Karen have fitted out The Loft with wonderful taste and all of the bathrooms are top quality including the selection of toiletries left for their guests to use. Their attention to detail is second to none. We received an extensive welcome pack when we arrived at the house and Karen even delivered fresh pastries for breakfast on the Sunday morning from the local Boulangerie. Outside the house there is a beautiful pool and garden but the jewel in the crown is the large sheltered "porch area". This is a half open and half covered space off the front of The Loft where you can choose sun or shade during the day. The BBQ is there along with a big dining table and also sofas for relaxing. It’s a fab place to eat and drink during the day or on an evening with a lovely view of the extensive gardens. Rieux Minervois is a nice little town situated in the middle of the Minervois wine region It has a good Italian restaurant within 2 minutes walk from the house, which Karen kindly booked it for us for the night we arrived. The food was very good. The town is also well placed to visit Carcassonne, Narbonne and several of the coastal towns; we particularly enjoyed Gruissan. It is also surrounded by many other small villages with excellent restaurants if you want enjoy a lazy lunch during your holiday. Karen will even book them for you if you ask. Overall we spent a lovely week in The Languedoc. Thank you Russell and Karen for your hospitality and for going to such lengths to make our holiday so memorable.

Grande maison avec belle piscine. Cuisine bien équipée avec, entre autres, plancha à l'extérieur, très agréable ! Nous avons également apprécié le barbecue. Toutes les commodités sont disponibles. nous étions avec 6 adultes et 8 enfants, à la limite mais certainement faisable. Merci pour la climatisation dans les chambres - les coûts d'électricité sont toujours réglés séparément
Logement très agréable entre amis ou en famille. De beaux espaces et un accueil chaleureux. Véronique s'est par ailleurs montrée arrangeante et réactive, merci beaucoup !

Wonderful holiday in this beautiful and stylish home! The house has been refurbished to a very high specification and the bedrooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are luxuriously contemporary. The kitchen is impressively well equipped. There is so much to do in the area which is steeped in history and blessed with natural beauty. The Roman ruins at Vaison are a must- see. We were amazed to find the largest archaeological site in France just down the road and the medieval town, on the other side of the river, with its winding streets, is charming. We found it hard to tear ourselves away from the stunning views and the peace and tranquility of the gardens and pool but outings to the hilltop villages of Seguret and Venasque and a wine tasting in Gigondas or Châteauneuf du Pape are experiences not to be missed!
