Absolutely fabulous! We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 weeks and would love to return. It's so well equipped, you've thought of everything UK TV meant we could stay in touch with local news not mention avidly watching the olympics. The property couldn't be bettered!
You don't need us to tell you what a beautiful house this is and the bath with a view indeed. We didn't eat out much as the super markets were so convenient and the kitchen well equipped. We arrived in a heat wave, not complaining though! It was amazing and the wonderful pool helped us cool off. The children took their push bikes over the back of the vineyards to the cycle path and biked into Nyons, we also walked it which was most pleasant. As regards places of interest, we took ideas from the house book as it was too hot to visit the tourist information centre during opening hours and most of our exploring was done in the evenings.
Superb deluxe holiday rental - fabulous owner helped enhance many warm memories . Stayed in a family party of 16 over New Year. Great directions and arriving on New years Eve, the owner was waiting by the main gate to great us as the rest of our party had arrive the day previous. The quality of the roof finishes, furnishings, bedding, towels... all outstanding. We had arranged for provisions ahead of our arrival, all were present and correct, even the ham was premium quality Fabulous grounds, cosy sitting rooms and 2 friendly red setters roaming gave a homely feel in what is a stylish deluxe country residence. Fully equipped kitchen with a 1st class chef available, deluxe menus with fine wine options all available. At the owners suggestion we visited Bourges which is 15 minutes away for a cosmopolitan array shops, bars and resturants while also being steeped in history. The gardens even in winter were impressive but the jewel in the crown has to be the cathedral nestled in Napoleonic architecture. Recommended, recommended - Can't wait to go back
La maison de vacances idéale. Magnifiquement meublée avec une immense piscine, une terrasse et un jardin. Elle est spacieuse et aérée et parfaitement située pour des vacances en famille. Homps est une charmante petite ville à proximité de Carcassonne et de Narbonne. Nous avons adoré la pizzeria d'à côté et le magasin du coin sur le quai vendant du pain frais tous les jours. Nous avons hâte d'y retourner !
What a fantastic week! The house is absolutely beautiful and very well stocked, had everything we needed, particularly the outdoor area - BBQ every night! The staff could not be more helpful and we felt instantly welcome. We are going to book for next year when we get home!
On se sent vraiment dans une maison de famille, ce que cette maison doit être à mon avis. Les enfants étaient tres heureux de découvrir une malle pleine de jouets et de doudous, des déguisements pour se croire au Moyen-Âge, des tonnes de jeux de société, de livres pour petits et grands, de DVD. La maison est rendue très agréable par son aménagement qui fait que l on peut être nombreux tout en préservant chacun son intimité. Enfin nous avons apprécié la vue à couper le souffle chaque soir sur la vallée et la matin au réveil sur le château après être allés chercher nos croissants à pied. Je recommande également le marché du lundi matin et les nombreuses attractions le soir.

Can't believe we have to leave our new home in Najac. The château is magnificent—striking and enormous, yet cozy and welcoming; an easy walk to the lovely village, yet splendidly private and quiet on its own hill. Amazing views, spotlessly clean, superbly equipped and with the best pool we've ever had! The only thing that matches the château and setting is the warm, attentive and super-knowledgeable welcome and help from Henrietta and her team. They helped us to make the most of our stay. Those extra-mile touches made all the difference and we really appreciated them. We loved getting to know this part of France, which seems to combine so many of the wonderful things from the more 'discovered' regions, adding a twist or 2, delivered with a smile.
Nous passons un excellent séjour et la maison est tout simplement parfaite. Les enfants adorent la salle de jeux et la piscine : notre fille de 11 ans en a la peau tout le temps fripée !

Merci pour ce séjour merveilleusement relaxant. Nous connaissons bien la région mais séjournons généralement dans des zones plus rurales. Ce que nous avons le plus apprécié, c'est de pouvoir séjourner si près du centre de la magnifique ville de Sarlat tout en ayant le sentiment d'être complètement isolés ! Le jardin et la piscine magnifiquement clos nous ont donné une ambiance rurale avec tous les avantages de pouvoir marcher jusqu'à des restaurants incroyables tous les soirs. Votre villa nous a définitivement offert le meilleur des deux mondes et nous reviendrons certainement.
The house and the grounds are fantastic. The rooms were all spacious and we particularly appreciated the bedroom set up with interlinking rooms from the nursery. We really enjoyed exploring the grounds and went for walks/runs. The children loved exploring the forest area. The swimming pool was fantastic. Loungers etc comfortable. The kids loved the swings etc and the playroom was well stocked. Everything we needed was here. The food was delicious and we really appreciate you taking into account the intolerances. Le logement est magnifique au calme (quelque part nulle part). Une très belle propriété avec de vieux arbres et de délicieux arbres fruitiers. La piscine est grande et avec de l'eau salée au lieu du chlore. L'intérieur de celle-ci est décorée avec goût. Stan est un hôte sympathique et simple. Pour ceux qui veulent être calmes, spacieux et détendus sont à la bonne adresse.
A Perfect Family Retreat – Exceeded Our Expectations! We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful villa and it truly exceeded our expectations. The photos on the website don’t fully capture the charm and spaciousness of this property. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. La Ferme Éclaircie is brilliantly laid out, offering plenty of open space, which was perfect for our family of five. The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped, making meal preparation a breeze. Each room was spotless, tidy and provided ample storage space for all our holiday belongings. The games room was a fantastic bonus, keeping our children entertained during the occasional rainy day. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible pool. Our three boys absolutely loved it and spent hours splashing around. The gentle slope of the pool was especially helpful for our youngest, who learned to swim during this holiday - an unforgettable milestone for our family. We also enjoyed the outdoor seating area, which was ideal for both daytime relaxation and evening games as we watched the sun set. The peaceful surroundings and stunning views added to the tranquility of our stay. La Ferme Éclaircie location is perfect for exploring the local area, which offers plenty of activities to keep a family like ours busy. Whether you’re looking for adventure or relaxation, this villa is a perfect choice. Overall, our stay was wonderful and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended!
A perfect villa with a perfect property manager. We are six retired Americans who travel together often. The property manager is most responsive we have dealt with. If messaged at a reasonable hour she respond in minutes. Now add to that a wonderful modernised property in a wonderful location and you get what we got, a perfect vacation. The property manager arranged a driver and a cook and both were outstanding. The property has stunning views and easy access to rail, within walking distance of fine restaurants and the privacy all renters seek. If you are visiting the south of France and you want to be a short distance from all things and a short train ride to Cannes and Nice, you cannot do better than this property and you will not find a better property manager. If we could give more than 5 stars we would.
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Pézenas. The villa was superb, well maintained, modern with all up to date appliances. The Wi-Fi was a bit slow but this in no way affected our enjoyment of the holiday. The town was just as we imagined it to be, typically French with an attractive historic centre. Good restaurants, shops and bars all within easy walking distance.
Merci beaucoup pour cette merveilleuse semaine dans votre maison. Nous avons apprécié le vin mousseux, les belles fleurs et la maison est tout simplement incroyable avec tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Les points forts pour nous ont été le neuf trous de golf juste à l'extérieur de Saumur, le vélo, la visite de vignobles, des repas au restaurant et la détente au bord de la piscine. Nous avons attrapé des gardons, des naseux et trois grosses brèmes. Il y avait un beau martin-pêcheur au bord du ruisseau. Temps parfait et nous avons tout apprécié d'autant plus après toutes les restrictions de ces deux dernières années.
Nous avons apprécié célébrer notre 25ème anniversaire de mariage ici au Domaine de Nérige avec famille et amis. Fantastique est le seul mot pour décrire la maison et la région.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour à Le Mas Repenti. Nous avons été 3 la première semaine et la maison complète les trois autres semaines. Le porche avec la grande table et le canapé est fantastique. Dîners le soir et café sur les sofas le matin. Tous mes invités ont adoré. Et tout le monde a adoré la piscine et le pool house.

Un grand merci pour ce merveilleux séjour à Camirout. Nous avons tous passé un moment fabuleux : nous avons profité du beau temps, exploré les environs, goûté aux délices des restaurants locaux et des fêtes de village/marchés nocturnes, participé aux fêtes médiévales (un moment particulièrement apprécié !) , et surtout, nous sommes reposés au bord de la piscine. It was a wonderful property to stay in – everyone who stayed with us were very impressed by the house. It’s a lovely town too. The management people in Pézenas for this property were very helpful too. We are in the UK now and are missing the south of France weather.
Lovely spacious house. We loved staying here! The rooms were lovely and spacious and the bed was big and comfortable :-) The location was really good to. We enjoyed going down to the riverside cafe, kayaking on the river, cycling, sightseeing, eating! We would definitely come back.
Des gens et une maison magnifiques. La maison et le paysage sont magnifiques et l'endroit très bien situé, profitant à la fois de la vie rurale tranquille et des équipements et événements culturels de Carcassonne, la ville voisine.
