Just a note to say how much we enjoyed our stay at the Villa Montplaisir. This is a lovely villa in a nice location. The owner could not have been more helpful and we were provided with everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.
Nous avons passé un moment des plus merveilleux à la Maison de Saint-Jean. La maison était charmante, il y avait tout ce dont nous avions besoin et Rosetta [la gouvernante] était très serviable et accueillante. Tu as tellement de chance de l'avoir !
Thank you for being wonderful hosts. It has been a joy to stay at the Loft and to explore a little of the region. Excited to be thinking of returning in the future when the weather is cooler. Our arrival was so welcoming and you provide such a generous hamper for our first night - thank you We particularly enjoyed exploring Rieux with its château, church and watching the wine harvest. Cette villa est magnifique. Nous avons passé une semaine exceptionnelle. Très moderne hyper équipée avec une déco de tres bon goût, haut de gamme. Nous avons été charmés par la villa. Les propriétaires sont très sympas. Très bien située à 15 mn à pied du plus beau village de France. Nous avons l'habitude de louer des villas de prestige. Celle-ci sans aucun doute à sa place sur le podium. Je dirais même sur la plus haute marche en tenant compte de la gentillesse de Karine et Éric, les propriétaires. Nous recommandons vivement !
Merci pour une semaine fantastique dans votre belle maison. Nous avons adoré explorer la Loire et nager dans la piscine était une merveilleuse façon de terminer chaque journée incroyable. Nos enfants ont passé des heures à explorer le jardin et à profiter de l'espace et de la liberté qu'il leur offrait. Merci beaucoup.
Prior to arriving, dealing with Pete was easy and this continued with both him and Kate throughout our stay. We’d been in Avignon for week before where it was very hot, this continued in Curzon but the house was lovely and cool throughout. We all had no trouble sleeping which meant we weren’t able to take advantage of the pool for the first morning as we all slept in. When we did get out there, it was wonderful. As a family of 4 we were able to relax and have fun round the pool all day every day if we wanted, including cooking lunch and dinner on the gas BBQ in the outside kitchen which we made full use of. Facilities in the house were great and we relaxed quickly, taking advantage of the welcome package of goodies. We explored the surrounding villages and towns which were in easy reach and a 10 minute drive for bread each morning or a full shop meant we could simply pop out and get something for dinner/breakfast. They really looked after us and each morning we woke to a clean pool and surroundings, including towels waiting for us. We felt truly spoilt during our stay and could have easily booked 3 weeks or more and I imagine Pete and Kate will be managing full summers for a while to come. Thank you Pete and Kate for a memorable stay!
Thank-you, Jean and Martin, for a fabulous two week stay in your lovely gîte. We had everything we needed to make it a very special relaxing holiday. The outdoor BBQ area has been put to great use! We have enjoyed many evenings outside drinking and eating. It was great having your input for ideas and suggestions for things to do and places to visit. The pool is perfect and we have enjoyed using the lovely gazebo area. The garden is a beautiful retreat in which to fully unwind and enjoy the abundant birdlife, especially first thing in the morning. We have really enjoyed watching the wood pecker, especially gathering food for the offspring! Lauzun provided the perfect location to start our many heavenly bike rides and to explore the fascinating bastide towns of Issigeac, Villereal and Eymet. We also visited the prehistoric cave-Grotte de Font Gaume and highly recommend, (pre-book tickets online). We look forward to coming back soon and seeing you again.

We enjoyed our relaxing holiday at Le Tesquet which lived up to expectations. The accommodation was great with everything we needed>Pete was a genial host who was fun of good ideas and suggestions. The swimming pool was wonderful. Thank you.
Magnifique ancienne bergerie, spacieuse, lumineuse et comfortable. La vue est incroyable avec sa grande piscine chauffée et son parc. Tout est proche en voiture, supermarchés, villages typiques, restaurants et excusions multiples. Et pour conclure les propriétaires sont à l’écoute et absolument charmants!
Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans votre belle maison et ses jardins relaxants. Merci pour votre accueil chaleureux et vos recommandations de restaurants. La Table a été notre coup de cœur ! Nous avons hâte d'y retourner un jour.
Belle demeure. Une jolie demeure avec jardins, exceptionnellement paisible et privée. Belle piscine. Tous les équipements. Saint-Alvère est également un beau village.
What a wonderful holiday in this lovely home. We were warmly welcomed by Corinne and found everything we could ever want / wish for on a family holiday / parents / grand parents and small children. The weather was as anticipated - hot and temperate at times, incredible thunder storms / blue skies. The pool was a great hit with all and the pool toys, outdoor toys and indoor entertainment ensured all needs were catered for. Finally, a great thank you to Mel for her attention to detail and unfailing helpfulness.
Narbonne is a classic, small French city. The villa is a perfect match and then some - more spacious than the pictures suggest and terrific spaces both outdoor and in. Well be back for more visits and more wine!
La température de la piscine était de 28°C à 30°C en octobre ! Tout nous a très bien satisfait aux Fumerates. Les lits et les draps étaient vraiment confortables, l a cuisine était bien équipée. Les propriétaires étaient très gentils et serviables. L'emplacement est bon pour explorer la Côte d'Azur. Je recommanderais d'avoir une voiture pour rendre cela beaucoup plus facile. La chose la plus importante pour nous (avec deux enfants) était la piscine chauffée avec une belle vue. La piscine était grande, propre et très chaude. Lors de notre séjour de six jours en octobre, la température de la piscine était de 28°c à 30°c ! De jour comme de nuit, un tel plaisir. Vous avez un endroit incroyable, merci beaucoup de le partager avec les autres aussi.

Une merveilleuse semaine passée dans cette magnifique villa. Nous avons passé un moment très agréable à visiter le Château de Monbazillac, Montcaret et Bordeaux. There were 9 of us meeting for the weekend in the beautiful cottage restored by Christophe's hands. Everything was perfect, from communication before the stay, Christophe's welcome and his legendary conviviality! The place is amazing, it's perfect for sharing special moments with friends and family. The cottage is very well equipped, the decoration is also very beautiful and the place allows you to party well. I can only recommend choosing this place for its charm and the quality of its host Christophe’ Thanks again, Hope to see you soon.
The sun shone and we all had a fabulous time in this gorgeous and comfortable house. Lots of amazing food (with thanks to Steph), delicious wines of all colours (with thanks to Ampelidae), great company and a lot of laughs. Thank you!
Nous avons passé des vacances merveilleuses et reposantes. Merci beaucoup pour cette belle maison et les vues. Nous avons profité de la piscine, du soleil, de la piscine fantastique et bien sûr du piano. En tant que musiciens, avoir un piano était important. Apprendre que la maison appartenait à un célèbre pianiste de jazz était génial ! Nous avons joué du jazz tous les jours et le son du piano dans l'air du soir était un rêve. Thank you for a wonderful stay In your fabulous house, we spent a week exploring the town, fabulous Sunday market in Nyons, also held on a Thursday. We hired bikes @ E20 per day and played tennis and paddle in Nyons (booked online) we swam in the river nearby, The vineyards around the house are farmed by Domaine Tave, there Audrey La Tarde speaks English and is the real deal. We ran out of time to do all we wanted, ‘we will be back ‘.
La Maison Cabanon est vraiment comme un autre chez-soi ! Merci beaucoup d'avoir créé un si bel endroit pour notre première expérience provençale. L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue est magnifique et tout le monde est sympathique, même avec nos tentatives maladroites en français ! Merci.
What a most wonderful place to stay. We were with a group of great friends. Didn't know what to expect... but Château Entre-Deux-Mers was mind blowing! The owner had been informing us correctly with all the necessary information we needed in advance. We have enjoyed the beautiful decorated château from the beginning till the end. It is the proof of how a classical building can be reinvented by a good decorator. The kitchen, dining room, living room and all the rooms with their bathrooms were beautiful. The dinner and the breakfast we ordered, were delicious. And the service was elegant and discrete. A true recommendation to go again!
I found peace in both the house and the surrounding area. The house itself felt like home. And the town of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, just a short walk / bike ride away was charming and welcoming, to say the least. Located centrally, I found that the entire South of France was accessible, though I never wanted to leave lovely Mas de Pitou. I only wish I could have stayed longer.
Il s'agit d'un compte-rendu actualisé et plus complet de notre séjour en juin dans la magnifique Maison des Cordeliers à Sarlat. Après un très long voyage jusqu'à Sarlat depuis Calais via Orléans à travers des tempêtes de pluie franchement bibliques, ce fut un soulagement d'arriver dans une maison aussi accueillante ! La maison était très cosy et avait tout le confort que l'on peut souhaiter. Les lits étaient super confortables (c'est dire quelque chose de la part d'une personne difficile en matière de matelas) et il y avait beaucoup de rangements pour les bagages. La cuisine et le salon étaient approvisionnés avec tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin et la télévision par satellite était un bonus pour les match de l'Euro ! Comme le temps s'améliorait, nous avons passé beaucoup de temps autour de la belle piscine ou quand il faisait trop chaud, la véranda était un endroit bienvenu où s'installer à l'ombre et se détendre avec un livre. La climatisation était également très appréciée ! Nous n'avions jamais séjourné dans cette partie de la France auparavant, nous nous dirigions habituellement vers la Provence ou la Côte d'Azur, mais la ville ne nous a pas déçus. Belle architecture médiévale, marchés fabuleux et charmants magasins et restaurants. Sarlat est une véritable merveille et le fait que le centre soit à 5 minutes à pied de la maison est un véritable bonus. Je peux honnêtement dire que nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux et relaxant à la Maison des Cordeliers et que nous serions ravis d'y séjourner à nouveau la prochaine fois que nous nous reviendrons en Dordogne.
Merci de nous permettre de profiter de votre jolie villa. Le cadre élégant de Baleyssagues a contribué à rendre nos vacances ici à Duras très relaxantes. Le site à flanc de colline était le lieu idéal pour admirer de superbes couchers et levers de soleil et les étoiles filantes. C'était dommage de repartir...
