Great house, wonderful weather, lovely city. We loved the pool, the bike ride along the Canal du Midi, we enjoyed having space in a rented house. The decoration of the house is very well done and we feel very relaxed now.

So much love and thought has gone in to creating the Loft! It shows in every detail, but most importantly, in the ambiance it radiates throughout. You made us feel so very welcome, both before and after our arrival. Your kindness and generosity have meant a great deal to us, and the ‘wine time’ we had with you has been great fun too! We so admire what you have achieved with the Loft and wish you every success with the renovations of the maison de maitre - can’t wait to see the finished article. Nous sommes retournés à la Maison Charvin, Montlaur pour la deuxième année consécutive. Revenir à la même destination de vacances peut parfois être une erreur, pour des raisons évidentes, mais certainement pas dans ce cas. Tout était exactement comme dans nos souvenirs. :-) La Maison Charvin elle-même était charmante, confortable et spacieuse comme toujours. La maison ainsi que le jardin reposant et la belle piscine nous ont procuré des journées très relaxantes au soleil. La magnifique campagne environnante a permis plusieurs excursions d'une journée agréables à Carcassonne et Lagrasse, pour n'en citer que quelques-unes. Sharon, notre hôte, était comme toujours attentionnée, aimable et extrêmement accueillante. Merci encore de nous avoir permis de visiter votre belle maison pour la deuxième année consécutive - c'était tout aussi agréable que notre première visite.
After a two-year pause in our travel arrangements we couldn’t have been more delighted with our visit to the Loft du Vigneron. It was everything - and more - than we had hoped for. Thank you both for your generosity of conversation, wine and gin!!! Good luck with the next phase of Le Domaine aux Quat’Saisons, not that we think you will need it - quite simply, it is stunning.
Bonjour, nous sommes arrivés hier soir et nous sommes bien installer dans cette jolie maison ! Nous avions des attentes élevées, mais la maison les dépasse!
Highly recommended. The house was very spacious, tidy and even more beautiful than in the photos. There is a large beautiful and enclosed garden and by the pool a nice terrace. The owner were really friendly and helpful. Both we and our 5 dogs had a great vacation. We will definitely go back again!
Le logement est magnifique au calme (quelque part nulle part). Une très belle propriété avec de vieux arbres et de délicieux arbres fruitiers. La piscine est grande et avec de l'eau salée au lieu du chlore. L'intérieur de celle-ci est décorée avec goût. Stan est un hôte sympathique et simple. Pour ceux qui veulent être calmes, spacieux et détendus sont à la bonne adresse.
Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances dans le chalet d'Eva. Tout était en ordre C'est une maison très spacieuse, avec de grandes chambres (de bain), avec une terrasse apaisante avec une grande piscine. Parfait pour un voyage de groupe La communication avec Eva s'est très bien passée
Cottage du Jardin est magnifiquement entretenu et présente un intérieur magnifique. Ce qui nous a vraiment impressionnés, c'est son emplacement paisible au sein du parc des propriétaires et la piscine paisible où l'on peut se prélasser un après-midi ensoleillé. Le cottage se trouve à environ 5 à 10 minutes à pied du village. Vous y trouverez une petite épicerie proposant de tout pour satisfaire vos besoins, ainsi qu'un restaurant proposant de délicieux repas à des prix très raisonnables. À essayer absolument lors de votre séjour. Si vous préférez faire vos courses, deux grands supermarchés sont à 10 minutes en voiture, sur la route de Montignac. Montignac est une jolie ville avec de charmants restaurants au bord de la rivière. Le cottage est idéalement situé pour visiter les sites touristiques locaux, qu'il s'agisse d'un château comme le Château de Losse ou le Château des Milandes avec ses magnifiques jardins, ou de jolies villes et villages, nos préférés étant Saint-Léon, La Roque-Gageac et Domme. Un ciel bleu magnifique tous les jours avec des températures atteignant 36 degrés un jour. Cela nous a donné l'excuse parfaite pour passer quelques jours à nous prélasser au bord de la piscine et à nous ressourcer dans un cadre magnifique. En résumé, grâce au gîte, à la météo et à des hôtes parfaits, nous avons passé une semaine formidable, mais nous sommes repartis un peu tristes. Cependant, nous savons que nous reviendrons, plus longtemps la prochaine fois, car il y a encore beaucoup à voir dans cette belle région de France. Ce furent vraiment nos meilleures vacances. Couldn't keep the kids out of the pool it was so warm, especially in the evening when we sat on the terrace next to the pool with a glass of rosé. Everyone loved the roof terrace with its views. Thanks for a very warm welcome.
We have had a wonderful week at Château du Pic de Rigaud and enjoyed every minute! The weather has got better and better and we've had perfect days by the pool. The château has been incredibly comfortable and provided everything we needed. We have enjoyed exploring Najac including the Wednesday evening market. Thank you to Henrietta and Peter for all your help and bookings. We will miss this wonderful house and grounds and our morning walks to the Boulangerie. We hope to return.
Fabulous elegant stay. Just returned from a fantastic stay at Manoir Capraise. We only had a week at this fantastic house but it was very memorable. The main house and gîte have been beautifully and tastefully restored. There is great quality and attention to detail throughout from the lovely terraces / landscaping / pool / vegetable garden to the quality furnishings and equipment . Many a lovely meal was enjoyed admiring the fantastic location from the multiple outdoor seating areas on the terraces. The gîte provided a great independent area for teenagers and the well equipped gym was a bonus, plans for a games room will further enhance this great property. We appreciated a lovely welcome package of local wine and produce, another quality touch. Thank you Mark and Sarah, everything was just perfect, we hope to return again.
Une véritable oasis dans le quartier animé de Sarlat. Très bien située. On peut aller à pied partout. Marché fermier. Restaurant. Magnifique ville animée. Superbe piscine. Superbe jardin. Confortable. Jackie est très serviable et attentionnée.
La Maison Lanave est une charmante ferme gasconne bien rénovée, nichée au cœur des vignes et offrant une vue spectaculaire. Les photos et les descriptions sont fidèles à la réalité : c'est un lieu vraiment exceptionnel. Les hôtes sont proactifs et sympathiques, présents sur place sans être intrusifs. Ils sont très disponibles pour répondre à nos demandes et nous fournir de nombreuses informations locales utiles. La région est rurale et offre beaucoup de choses à voir et à faire. Nous recommandons vivement d'y séjourner.

La Belle Vue is a beautiful holiday home. Nestled in a tiny hamlet the house has all the ingredients for a fantastic relaxing break. The garden is beautiful with views over the rolling hills to the distant Pyrenees. Lovely bedding, fluffy thick hotel towels and everything you need to enjoy the holiday. We hope to be back soon. We really enjoyed our trip to Las Tours. The views after the climb were well worth it. Probably preferred it to Carcassonne.

And so ends another fabulous two weeks at the Loft du Vigneron. Everything we said in September 2017 remains absolutely appropriate. Karen and Russell, you do such a magnificent job in presenting The Loft - you really are in a league of your own. Please know how much everything you do is so appreciated - it all makes to provide such a fantastic holiday base. How we would love to stay on for another two weeks now - but this will have to wait until next year! We've loved spending time with you again - the boules tournament is firmly in the memory bank! Really sorry about the tea, Russell! Case for the defence: salt does look like sugar when you've had a drink or two! Good luck with the Chambres d'Hotes - it's looking fabulous.
First things first - Karen, Russell and the girls (Mack and Mabel) are wonderful hosts. Warm, friendly, thoughtful and yet discreet. They love what they're doing and it shows as nothing is too much trouble. Their enthusiasm for their ventures (current and future) is infectious. Secondly is the 'Loft du Vigneron' - a fabulous property offering everything - and more - that you could hope for. Karen and Russell's sense of style has been imprinted on it and their attention to detail has left nothing wanting. Every comfort has been considered from the fabulous welcoming pack to 'The White Company' range of toiletries. The terrace was our favourite place with the sun streaming through the roof and the warm breeze cooling us down. Rieux-Minervois is a typical French village and perfectly situated to explore the entire Minervois region from Carcassonne in the West, East to the Mediterranean, and all the lovely historical villages North and South. In conclusion, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful property with the perfect hosts - highly recommended without hesitation. Our very best wishes for every success in you new venture. Tout est fantastique, la maison est encore mieux que sur les photos et on remarque l'affection qu'on lui a donnée dans les moindres détails. Il a tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin et les appareils sont de grandes marques. Nous y sommes allés avec beaucoup d'enfants et ils ont passé un bon moment. Un grand merci aux hôtes et nous espérons revenir bientôt.
We had a wonderful week at Manoir Coutenson. The spacious house is very well equipped. The swimming pool is incredibly warm and the children (even the baby) spent hours in it. The shaded area by the pool was essential as the weather was really hot. We loved the area. It is fairly rural but with easy access to the town. The house is very child friendly with toys, high chairs and plastic bowls and plates and lots of pool accessories. All of which were appreciated by our 5 grandchildren. A fabulous, relaxing holiday. Thank you so much.
Nous étions les premiers français à séjourner dans cette maison, très agréable et pratique pour la vie de famille, notamment avec des enfants. Chaque chambre dispose de sa salle de bains, ce qui a été très apprécié. La cuisine est bien équipée et nous avons eu un très joli panier garni d'arrivée. Mille mercis pour cela nous avons beaucoup aimé. Le jardin est extrêmement agréable, clos, avec un terrain de pétanque au fond et des jeux pour les enfants. Ensuite, une grange à été réhabilitée et accueille plusieurs jeux : billard, baby-foot, ping-pong, fléchettes. Il est aussi possible de jouer au badminton et des raquettes sont a disposition. Idéal même quand il ne fait pas beau.
La maison était top, très propre et incroyablement entretenue Rien à dire, tout était parfait.
