Fabulous house on the edge of the village with magical views and absolute peace and privacy. We were thrilled to see so much wildlife, so many wonderful birds, butterflies, red squirrel and deer around the house. We flew into Limoges which is a tiny and very easy airport to manage. Car hire is just outside the exit, the roads are blissfully empty and the drive to Lusignac was a pleasure. We couldn't have had a better week.
Grande maison en particulier la piscine, le jardin et les couchers de soleil incroyables. Quartier calme, pour ceux qui recherchent vraiment un endroit pour se déconnecter. Nous avons adoré !
Le Château Mézard est une propriété magnifique et constitue certainement le décor de vacances en famille des plus mémorables. Je comprends bien pourquoi vous parliez tantôt du château avec tant d'affection. Notre groupe s'est rassemblé pour célébration spéciale avec la famille proche. Nous étions donc mélangés en termes d'âges et centres d'intérêt, mais le château offrait le cadre idéal pour répondre à tous nos intérêts, des plus petits aux adultes parmi nous. Les enfants se sont énormément amusés dans et autour de la piscine. Personnellement, j'ai pris beaucoup de plaisir à me promener dans les magnifiques jardins et à admirer des paysages à couper le souffle. Laurent, Didier et Rachel ont fait de leur mieux pour que nous passions un merveilleux moment et rien n'était trop leur demander.
Nous avions besoin d'une pause pour décompresser et nous détendre. Nous sommes tombés sur La Charmante Distillerie grâce à une recommandation et elle a dépassé toutes nos attentes. Les enfants étaient loin de leurs appareils électroniques et ont joué à la pétanque, au babyfoot, au badminton et même à des châteaux de sable. Ils se sont ensuite rafraîchis dans la piscine, avec de nombreux jeux pour les divertir. Le plus mémorable, c'est l'accueil ! Mark et Gary sont des hôtes exceptionnels. L'accueil dans leur magnifique maison de vacances était d'une grande authenticité, tout comme leur hospitalité – à la hauteur de nos attentes. Nous y retournerons certainement et avons hâte d'observer les étoiles avec le télescope de la maison dans le ciel nocturne limpide.
Comme les locataires précédents, nous avons apprécié le calme, la piscine, le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse avec la jolie vue sur les vignes et la garrigue. Nous avons particulièrement été sensibles aux nombreuses attentions de bienvenue de la propriétaire et sommes ravis d'avoir fait la connaissance de Marie et de sa famille, des"gardiens" au top! Ravis de notre séjour.
You could not wish for more in a holiday accommodation. Everything about this place is perfect – the warm welcome by the hosts, the beautifully designed and furnished gite, the very special location and brilliant views over vineyards, forest and softly rolling hills, the helpful recommendations from Esther and Leonard. We only have one regret – and that is that we didn’t stay long enough.
Thank-you, Jean and Martin, for a fabulous two week stay in your lovely gîte. We had everything we needed to make it a very special relaxing holiday. The outdoor BBQ area has been put to great use! We have enjoyed many evenings outside drinking and eating. It was great having your input for ideas and suggestions for things to do and places to visit. The pool is perfect and we have enjoyed using the lovely gazebo area. The garden is a beautiful retreat in which to fully unwind and enjoy the abundant birdlife, especially first thing in the morning. We have really enjoyed watching the wood pecker, especially gathering food for the offspring! Lauzun provided the perfect location to start our many heavenly bike rides and to explore the fascinating bastide towns of Issigeac, Villereal and Eymet. We also visited the prehistoric cave-Grotte de Font Gaume and highly recommend, (pre-book tickets online). We look forward to coming back soon and seeing you again.
Just a note to say we had a fantastic holiday at Maison Mascarille - please pass on our thanks to the owners. The house is a real home from home in a fabulous location and we all enjoyed every minute of our holiday. Also once again great service from yourselves.
We enjoyed a lovely week at Le Chanlie; the house is set in wonderful, quiet surroundings and is beautifully furnished. Everything was in place to make us feel very welcome on our arrival. We had a couple of questions following arrival and the owner was really prompt in providing helpful guidance and again welcoming us to the property. The information pack provided at the property was very detailed and was invaluable in terms of guidance on local amenities and made great suggestions for places to visit in the area. Our young daughter was well catered for with plenty of toys and books to keep her amused when the weather didn't allow us to enjoy the outside spaces. Similarly the house has a large collection of games and DVDs for adults too! Overall a really enjoyable week and we would jump at the chance to return!
Waouh ! Cela a largement dépassé nos attentes. Le souci du détail est remarquable. Cet endroit est vraiment unique : la décoration et le mobilier sont magnifiques. L'espace extérieur est spectaculaire. Je pourrais parler pendant des heures de notre séjour, sans oublier toutes les choses incroyables à faire dans les environs.
What an amazing week in a stunning home. The house is exquisitely designed and the attention to detail is fantastic. The views are beautiful and the area so quiet and peaceful. I slept in one of the bedrooms on the ground floor and had the best night's sleep I've had for years… the mattress is heavenly. Not many people can lie in bed watching red squirrels leaping through the surrounding trees can they! The small kitchen area on the ground floor along with the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms means the whole floor can be very separate and quiet if two families were to share the house. The middle floor is a great entertaining space with a spotless and very modern kitchen with dining / living area leading out to the garden and pool. It was a real treat to have the local bar / restaurant within a short walking distance. It's very easy to sit and enjoy the local wine! The one thing I hadn't bargained for was the abundance of wildlife, although with the roads being so quiet I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised. The red squirrels and deer can be seen from the balconies and fantastic infinity pool overlooking the valley. The cushions for the outdoor furniture are very comfy. Once again, there are various areas to sit / eat and enjoy the garden if different age groups or families stay here. So to sum it all up…a fab holiday home in beautiful surroundings – 10 / 10. PS If you attempt the puzzle in the games cupboard… start it as soon as you arrive because it's tricky but irresistible!
Had a great stay for the week. Villa was great, very spacious, pool was excellent. Excellent communication from start to finish, was greeted on arrival and Paul was on hand to help and support when needed for advice on tourism spots on what was going on around town. Great location to Béziers and Narbonne. Villa was spacious and felt like a home from home. Location in the village is really safe and quiet. I would highly recommend.
Des vacances absolument merveilleuses. Nous avons passé un séjour vraiment fabuleux de 12 nuits au Château Limousin. Nous étions 3 familles composées de 6 adultes et 8 enfants (de 3 à 9 ans). Le château et son terrain, y compris la grande piscine clôturée, sont extrêmement bien entretenus et offrent tout ce que vous pourriez souhaiter. Les propriétaires étaient des gens très gentils et extrêmement accueillants. Des vacances vraiment agréables... nous recommandons vivement.

Nous avons passé deux semaines extraordinaires dans cette magnifique propriété. À notre arrivée, nous avons été submergés par la beauté de la maison. Elle a été conçue avec amour selon des normes haut de gamme et possède certainement le facteur « wow » à l'arrivée. Frédéric et le personnel étaient très serviables et ont rendu notre séjour très spécial. Merci de partager ce bel endroit avec nous.
La maison de Sam correspondait à ce que nous recherchions pour une famille avec des enfants de 12 et 10 ans. La proximité de la vallée du Lot et de la Dordogne signifiait qu'il y avait de nombreuses options de sorties et d'installations à explorer et à apprécier pour les adultes et les enfants. Les marchés nocturnes locaux ont également été un point fort de notre séjour. La propriété était très bien équipée avec des jeux d'intérieur et du matériel pour profiter des espaces extérieurs. C'est extrêmement calme et paisible avec peu de voitures qui passent, ce qui en fait un environnement très relaxant et reposant pour le temps passé dans la propriété. Nous sommes partis en nous sentant très bien reposés.
A wonderful stay at Mas du Château!! The home has everything you need and even more!! From the decor to the amenities to the exteriors, everything was at its best! Christophe was very attentive and ultra available!! The ideal PLACE to have a great time with friends and family!!

First things first - Karen, Russell and the girls (Mack and Mabel) are wonderful hosts. Warm, friendly, thoughtful and yet discreet. They love what they're doing and it shows as nothing is too much trouble. Their enthusiasm for their ventures (current and future) is infectious. Secondly is the 'Loft du Vigneron' - a fabulous property offering everything - and more - that you could hope for. Karen and Russell's sense of style has been imprinted on it and their attention to detail has left nothing wanting. Every comfort has been considered from the fabulous welcoming pack to 'The White Company' range of toiletries. The terrace was our favourite place with the sun streaming through the roof and the warm breeze cooling us down. Rieux-Minervois is a typical French village and perfectly situated to explore the entire Minervois region from Carcassonne in the West, East to the Mediterranean, and all the lovely historical villages North and South. In conclusion, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful property with the perfect hosts - highly recommended without hesitation. Our very best wishes for every success in you new venture. Excellent séjour! Notre hôte Nathalie a été tres réactive par message et arrangeante. La maison était propre et correspondait parfaitement à la description. Nous y serions bien resté plus longtemps!
Nous venons de séjourner dans cette superbe maison. Elle a tout pour plaire. Calme et vue magnifique depuis une ancienne grange magnifiquement restaurée. Tout le confort nécessaire pour un séjour inoubliable : climatisation, piscine flambant neuve, cuisine entièrement équipée, le tout agrémenté par la rencontre avec Florence, la propriétaire qui habite à côté. Les supermarchés sont à seulement 10 minutes en voiture, ce qui en fait un endroit idéal. Merci Florence, passez un bel été et soyez rassurée : vous aurez encore beaucoup de visiteurs satisfaits.
Spent a weekend here in September 2023. The domaine has been very skilfully and tastefully converted into a very luxurious residence with swimming pool! The overwhelming tranquillity, the beautiful gites, the stunning surroundings combined with the care of the perfect hosts ensures that you can completely unwind and enjoy to the max! You will want to come back here again and again!
Les propriétaires sont des hôtes fantastiques ! Toujours disponibles et à l'écoute. La maison est conforme aux photos et idéale pour une retraite familiale. Nous y avons passé une semaine inoubliable et vécu des moments gravés à jamais dans nos mémoires.
What a wonderful holiday we have had. We are familiar with the region but La Tourouzelle offers the most amazing place for a holiday: fabulous views to the Pyrénées, a comfortable, well-equipped home and a fantastic pool! There is so much to do here - lovely bastide towns and villes perchées and lots of fêtes and festivals. We have particularly enjoyed the fête at Fanjeaux, the views from the Collégiale at Montréal, a late night walk around la Cité at Carcassonne, the fête du Cassoulet at Castelnaudary and the festival de Pétanque at Limoux. We look forward to another visit.
This is a beautiful, fully modernised house in a lovely friendly village. A well designed spacious house over two floors with a large balcony from the modernised kitchen and lounge overlooking the pool and views of the surrounding areas The property is perfect for lazing by the pool and is Ideally placed for trips to many nearby beaches and to the cities of Narbonne, Béziers and Montpellier.
We had a wonderful time thank you - it was our second visit: the house is great and we love the location. Ali was particularly helpful with restaurant recommendations and places to go too.
