If you're looking for French charm and a true get away, then Le Mas de Combet is the place for you. A beautiful house with everything you need for a trip away with family or friends (the accommodation in the barn is so handy for young familys too). The property has been lovingly and thoughtfully restored plus communication was spot on, it was easy to book and any questions I had were answered promptly.
Great house in a super location. So quiet and relaxing. Loved the coypu in the pond - a bit special! Visited lots of towns and villages with the Dordogne in easy striking distance. Had a great 2 weeks! Thanks!
Maison parfaite, avec tout ce dont vous auriez besoin. Campagne, beau temps - chaud ! Piscine - attrait contagieux.

Nous avons passé des vacances parfaites à Bessan. La maison est très belle, les enfants ont profité de la piscine tous les jours. Nous avons particulièrement aimé Uzès et Pézenas qui sont vraiment de belles villes. Merci encore. À bientôt.
Emplacement fabuleux avec des vues époustouflantes. Piscine magnifique et essentielle. Joli village avec un restaurant local. Fabuleuse carte de mets et vins au Domaine Gayda - à distance de marche également !
Lovely retreat set amongst fruit trees. We stayed at Maison Meunier for the middle week of a three week honeymoon in France. After spending the previous week in Paris it was the perfect contrast allowing us to slow the pace down a little and put our feet up. On arrival we were greeted by the owners who were very friendly and helpful offering advice when required. They're based on site but away from the property in the main buildings. The accommodation itself is lovely and really well equipped with everything you could ever need. Outside, the pool is great for cooling off during sunbathing and the view from the terrace is beautiful with quince, apple and fig trees between the property and the nearby lake. We spent most evenings cooking on the barbecue with the fabulous local produce we picked up from the market or supermarket. Nearby there are a number of châteaux to explore and also traditional bastide towns to wander round and grab a coffee or cold glass of champagne. All in all, a lovely stay at a lovely place. We wouldn't hesitate to return.
Un lieu de vacances incroyable! Superbes vues sur un petit village paisible et pittoresque du sud de la France, et vous n'avez même pas besoin de sortir de la piscine. Tout ce dont vous avez besoin est fourni par l'hôte, une excellente qualité de service pour le prix. Grande variété d'excursions possibles dans la région, qu'elles soient sportives, culturelles ou simples shopping et farniente ! Au plaisir de revenir le plus tôt possible !!!
Merci pour votre belle maison. Elle était facilement à portée de tous les endroits que nous avons visités et chaque jour nous avons adoré le confort et la piscine en rentrant. Vos roses sont exquises et le jardin et la cour sont si beaux. Nous ne manquions de rien.

Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux à la villa. Éric et son épouse sont des hôtes formidables, très serviables en cas de besoin. La maison est parfaite et la piscine encore mieux. Nous avons visité de beaux endroits et recommandons les quatre châteaux de Lastours, Minerve ainsi que le canoë-kayak sur l'Orb. Le restaurant du village est charmant et nous avons beaucoup apprécié la cuisine du restaurant de Roubia. Merci beaucoup pour ces belles vacances.

Il est rare de trouver une si belle décoration où se côtoient antiquités de grande qualité et art contemporain. Nous avons apprécié l’authenticité des lieux, la nature protégée et la proximité des sites touristiques majeurs. Par leur gentillesse et leurs recommandations, les hôtes ont largement participé à notre agréable séjour. Nous recommandons ce gîte récemment ouvert à la location et en permanente évolution.
Le havre de paix idéal pour notre famille C'était notre premier séjour en Charente et nous avons été ravis de La Charmante Distillerie. C'était l'idéal pour mes grands-parents, avec ses chambres au rez-de-chaussée et un accès facile de plain pied à une belle terrasse et à la piscine. Le gîte est situé en forêt et la vue est imprenable. L'accent mis sur le développement durable était appréciable, notamment les nombreux arbres fruitiers et les herbes aromatiques pour la cuisine. Mark a été d'une grande aide pour tous les détails et a été d'un grand secours avec ses recommandations et ses connaissances locales. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter et nous le recommandons vivement pour une escapade paisible.
Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique tous les 13, une superbe propriété pour une grande famille avec de jeunes enfants, la propriétaire a été charmante et tout s'est bien passé.
Thank you for a wonderful week here. It has been a much needed escape from the hectic life of London. The ambiance of the house and grounds is so serene and peaceful. Scenery is breathtaking. Thank you for your hospitality and generosity in showing us the château and the wine tasting. You are an incredible force of nature. Your transformation of this property is miraculous.
Merci pour ces merveilleuses vacances reposantes. Votre maison, vos jardins et les environs sont tous spectaculaires. Nous avons beaucoup aimé pique-niquer dans l'arrière jardin et nos enfants ont adoré la cabane dans les arbres. Les temps forts ont été le marché de Saumur le samedi matin. Le dîner à La Licorne Fontervaud, le Château d'Ussé, le Zoo BioParc de Doce et les jardins du Château de Villandry. Aussi une visite avec les enfants de l'autre côté de la route pour voir les lapins à l'invitation de vos sympathiques voisins. Merci beaucoup.

A wonderful return visit to Villa Kali and this beautiful area of France. Weather has been great all week with plenty of sunshine, with the pool providing much needed relief. Enjoyed visits to Saint-Guilhem-le-Desert and Montpellier, as well as several trips to Pèzenas, particularly the ice cream shops! Enjoyed meals at Les Palmiers (quite expensive) and Chef Brasserie Chez Hansi (good value). Saturday market in Pèzenas worth a visit and Serignan Plage probably the best beach. The patisserie / boulangerie opposite Carrefour does great bread, croissants and gateaux. Look forward to a return visit in the future. Thanks for a great holiday! 5 / 5.
A wonderful week in the villa! The sun has shone and we've made the most of the pool! Very welcome relief from the heat. Villa is very well appointed - everything has been thought of. Local team were great, a quick response to our queries. We explored Pezanas and the beaches at Portiragnes and Sète - both fabulous! We agree - the welcome wine was a lovely thought - a good introduction to local wines! Thank you for a great week!
Beautiful house - everything you could possibly need for a totally carefree and relaxing holiday. We loved it so much here we only ventured away from the property for 2 half days. We would love to return! A huge thank you to Gary and Louise for managing the property so well and giving expert local knowledge.
This property has the WOW factor! We were blown away by it when we arrived. It is beautifully renovated and the grounds and surrounding countryside are stunning. The main house is very spacious with a large living room, TV lounge room and a big kitchen. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything that you might need (including 2 great coffee machines and a pantry with essentials that you can use). Also, a lovely large dining table. Upstairs there are 4 big airy bedrooms with very comfy beds, great linen and towels. Plus 3 pristine luxe bathrooms. The views out of every side of the house are idyllic. The outside space too is fantastic. Great terraces for eating / relaxing on, beautiful warm clean swimming pool with comfy loungers, herb garden, fire pit, well equipped gym, pétanque court, vineyard, landscaped gardens. The gîte across from the main house is also lovely and provides 3 extra bedrooms plus additional bathroom, kitchen and lounge. We enjoyed our stay enormously and appreciated the level of detail and care that the owners have put into this house.
Nous avons passé une semaine absolument charmante à Grand Mauran. Félicitations, cette maison est vraiment super, confortable et bien équipée, nous la recommanderons tous à nos amis.
Nous rentrons tout juste d'un séjour merveilleux à la « Maison Lemance ». Nous étions un groupe intergénérationnel de huit personnes et la maison était parfaitement adaptée à nos besoins, offrant divers espaces de détente, aussi bien à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur. C'est une maison magnifiquement entretenue, située dans un cadre paisible et disposant de tout le nécessaire pour notre séjour. La piscine était d'une propreté impeccable et équipée de nombreux transats pour se détendre. La propriétaire, Sam, s'est montrée extrêmement accueillante et disponible pour répondre à toutes nos questions. Notre seul regret est de ne pas avoir eu l'occasion de participer à l'un de ses cours de yoga.
