Nous avons passé deux semaines superbes dans votre belle maison. Elle est calme, propre et dispose de tout l'équipement nécessaire. Le grand jardin est agréable avec beaucoup d'ombre. Nous avons adoré aussi le tennis de table. Mais nous avons surtout aimé la piscine, par temps chaud.
Lovely holiday home. This was the first time we had stayed in this area of Perigord. The house was fantastic, very large for 4 people and had a really good swimming pool. The house is only 2 km from the river which is also lovely to swim in. There is also a lake nearby at Grolejac as well if you prefer that. The property is in a quiet but central location with numerous beautiful towns to visit nearby (e.g. Domme and Sarlat) and lots of activities to enjoy. We had a great 2 week holiday here!
Thank you for another lovely holiday at the Loft - it has been as perfect as we remembered! Un séjour extra entre amis (une douzaine avec adultes, ados et enfants) dans un lieu magique... un site naturel de toute beauté, aussi magnifique de jour comme de nuit sous les étoiles ; un Mas superbement rénové, où le cachet des pierres anciennes s'allie avec un grand confort (équipement, literie, salles de bains, cuisine...), de l'espace pour chacun, des chambres immenses et une décoration soignée plus qu'originale, chaque objet chaque meuble est choisi avec beaucoup d'esprit et suscite curiosité. Chacun y a trouvé son intimité et activité du jour (pique-nique au bord de la rivière, shopping à Anduze très pittoresque, lecture au bord de la piscine, promenade cévenole... et même révisions du Bac dans un calme propice !). Une préparation du lieu par les propriétaires et des attentions pour notre arrivée très appréciables. A l'année prochaine c'est sûr... On voudrait bien dormir dans toutes les chambres !

This was one of the very best holiday experiences we have ever had. Superb accommodation, spacious and elegant with a stunning pool and table tennis. The area is glorious with mediaeval towns, wineries and close to Bergerac airport should that be required. It really is a spectacular location and can recommend it without any reservation, not least as the owners are completely committed to the satisfaction of their clients. It’s outstanding.
Stunning château in rural France. In August this year we made our 3rd visit to Château Velouse with a group of friends and once again had a wonderful time. The first time we flew to Paris and hired a car but found it more economical to take a ferry - crossing to Dieppe last year and Calais in August. Easy drive on all occasions. Location is in a beautiful rural area steeped in history and close to the Loire with its majestic châteaux and extensive forests. Medieval Bourge, only a few miles away, is very well worth several visits – the acoustics in the cathedral are amazing. The surrounding area is reasonably flat and so an ideal centre for cycling on very quiet roads and off road tracks. The communal areas and bedrooms in the château are impressive and very classy. The pool area is an ideal centre for complete relaxation. Pool is clean and well maintained. The hosts are extremely welcoming and friendly - very attentive to our needs and not obtrusive. Well worth a visit.
Comfortable. Well equipped château. Spacious. Well tended grounds. Stunning pool area, very inviting! All really good. Comfortable sitting area. Well organised roomy playroom being a real bonus. Kitchen well equipped for cooking. Helpful at all times and unobtrusive. Huge bonus having the daily housekeeping service as well as shopping service. A very beautiful setting for our first family trip to Europe! The villa and surrounds were so beautiful that nobody wanted to go anywhere… just sit and relax. A fantastic kitchen helped us feed our big group. Brent and Debbie were very welcoming and made our week very special. Thank you.
Quel moment mémorable nous avons passé au château avec des amis et ma fille de 5 ans ! Les propriétaires sont sympathiques et extrêmement généreux, et ma fille adore leurs chiens. Le château est une propriété rustique avec de grandes fenêtres donnant directement sur le jardin et la piscine. La propriété est suffisamment vaste pour une promenade quotidienne, avec sa végétation luxuriante, ses canaux et son calme absolu. Le mobilier et les tapisseries ont été soigneusement sélectionnés et magnifiquement conservés. C'est un mariage parfait entre le confort moderne et le luxe rustique. À 5-10 minutes en voiture des marchés locaux et de la boulangerie pour ses délicieux pains. Un zoo Safari incroyable : ma fille et moi avons passé un excellent moment. De superbes restaurants face à la mer sont à proximité et incontournables. Un lieu idéal pour célébrer des retrouvailles en famille, entre amis ou avec vos proches.
We had a lovely week in this quaint house. It was secluded with a lovely pool which was cleaned twice during our week. Which was ideal as it was quite windy. We had no faults with our stay and the owner was helpful when required. I would like to point out that air conditioning is only downstairs, kitchen and bedroom with pull out sofa bed in. There was an air conditioning unit in the top bedroom which was satisfactory. That would be my only comment on what was a lovely week that it should be clearer in the description where it is.
Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour au Mas Saint-Martial. La piscine était incroyable et les propriétaires étaient des hôtes fantastiques. Ce sont probablement les vacances les plus relaxantes et inspirantes que nous ayons passées, et nous avons rencontré des personnes qui nous auront laissé une marque très positive et pour longtemps.
Merci de prendre soin de notre famille. La maison est absolument incroyable. Nous avons tous créé de si merveilleux souvenirs. Nous avons tellement apprécié la piscine, le marché nocturne et les magnifiques couchers de soleil.

Cannot say enough about how relaxing and wonderful was our holiday at Mas Saint Cernin: from the quality of the accommodation, to the fantastic location, the brilliant pool and the warm and helpful welcome from John and Lesley. Three generations spanning the under ten to the over seventies loved every moment of our stay. We all enjoyed the pool and the grounds with all the interesting things to see and do on the doorstep. We aim to return but think we might want to book early to do so!
Our week at Maison Charvin from Arlo, the family dog. My family thinks that Maison Charvin is simply beautiful: opulently furnished, exquisitely decorated. More of a château than a maison. That said, my mummy says it’s not pretentious but cosy and homely, much appreciated on the unusually slightly chilly and windy days for part of our stay. The pool has provided instant relief for my family when the weather has been hot and sunny. My human brothers’ favourite space is the very relaxing courtyard where my mummy and I have dozed off on numerous occasions! My daddy has very much enjoyed reading many books from the vast collection. The house is deceptively large, providing ample chilling space for everyone, including me after a hot day in the sun. We enjoyed visiting Trebes (on the Canal), Carcassonne, Lagrasse and the dog-friendly beach in Narbonne. My family enjoyed the pizza which they ordered from the pizza van by the church on Thursday late afternoon. They also had baguettes and pastries (ordered in advance) from Aurelien at Vins de Dagne.
This place is perfect and we wouldn't change a thing! We especially loved your dogs. Russell and Karen are great hosts and super-friendly. Thank you for a brilliant stay at the Loft!
Thank you very much indeed for renting your beautiful property to us for the past fortnight. My husband and I have been renting houses in France from time to time over the past thirty years. We are both agreed that Chez Pascale is the best and most generously equipped house that we have ever experienced. The setting, too, is delightful and so peaceful and quiet - a welcome change from our noisy city lives. We visited some of the local attractions which we enjoyed and agree that Sarlat, Domme and the surrounding villages and towns are justly famous for their scenic beauty and unique architecture as well as the local gastronomy. Our family members have now returned to their separate homes, but we will all retain some very happy memories of our holiday together in lovely Chez Pascale. Thank you, once more.

House was spotlessly clean as was all bedding. Absolutely first class. You have thought of everything that a family with young children could possibly need and want for. Catering very good - delicious. You were so helpful with all of our queries and went above and beyond to help.
A fantastic place to be, hosts are very friendly and helpful. The gîtes are beautiful decorated and the view is stunning. We had a great time and I would not hesitate to book this beautiful domaine for a holiday again. I wrote a comment in the guestbook to encourage other people to spend their vacation at L'Oliveraie.
Great stay in your wonderful home. Enjoyed exploring the area including Nerac and its chateau museum. Good lunch at Le Vert Gentil next to the river in Nerac. Loved the lily gardens at Temple Sur Lot and managed to get a table for lunch without booking. Beautiful setting and pretty good food too! Night market here (last of the season) was great fun and amazing setting overlooking the lot valley. Janet and Mark you’ve been great hosts and really helpful. Thank you.
A Perfect Family Retreat – Exceeded Our Expectations! We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful villa and it truly exceeded our expectations. The photos on the website don’t fully capture the charm and spaciousness of this property. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. La Ferme Éclaircie is brilliantly laid out, offering plenty of open space, which was perfect for our family of five. The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped, making meal preparation a breeze. Each room was spotless, tidy and provided ample storage space for all our holiday belongings. The games room was a fantastic bonus, keeping our children entertained during the occasional rainy day. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible pool. Our three boys absolutely loved it and spent hours splashing around. The gentle slope of the pool was especially helpful for our youngest, who learned to swim during this holiday - an unforgettable milestone for our family. We also enjoyed the outdoor seating area, which was ideal for both daytime relaxation and evening games as we watched the sun set. The peaceful surroundings and stunning views added to the tranquility of our stay. La Ferme Éclaircie location is perfect for exploring the local area, which offers plenty of activities to keep a family like ours busy. Whether you’re looking for adventure or relaxation, this villa is a perfect choice. Overall, our stay was wonderful and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended!
Lovely house in nice authentic village. We really enjoyed staying in this house in Nissan. We especially loved the pool area and the terrace where we spent most of our time when we weren't out exploring the area. It's in a perfect location within a few minutes' walk from the town square with bars and a couple of pizza restaurants. There is a market 3 times a week, which we also really enjoyed. Paul who met us on arrival and was available throughout our stay for any questions is a really nice guy who speaks good English. It's within easy driving distance of Narbonne, Montpellier and Béziers and about 20 minutes from the beach. You can tell that this is a well-loved house by friendly owners Terry and Carol and we would recommend this house to anyone seeking an authentic French experience in comfortable surroundings.
We absolutely loved our time here. The owner was a joy to work with. The home was absolutely charming. It was located on a picturesque hill, featured spacious, comfortable rooms and every luxury one would need while there. The home was spotless upon our arrival and the neighbors on the street were extremely helpful, pleasant and welcoming. We enjoyed swimming in the crisp, cool pool; hearing the church bells ring and exploring the neighboring villages as we attending the daily farmer's markets. We cannot wait to come back and are considering an extended stay as we fell in love with the area and this home. I would highly recommend it if you would like to truly experience the people and feel of the region.
La propriété est un endroit idéal pour passer un séjour relaxant, très agréable dans le Périgord. Dommage que la deuxième semaine n'était pas disponible.
Mon mari et moi avons loué cette charmante maison pendant 2 semaines en août avec nos 2 jeunes filles et nous prévoyons déjà d'y retourner l'année prochaine ! Tout d'abord, la piscine est magnifique. C'est immense et impeccable et on pouvait à peine en sortir les filles ! La maison est grande et spacieuse et les salles de bain récemment décorées m'ont donné l'impression d'être à Soho House ! La maison est située dans une charmante petite ville au bord du Canal du Midi. Il y a un immense caviste à côté et plusieurs bars et restaurants accessibles à pied sur le quai. Nous avons fait des excursions d'une journée à la plage de Gruissan et de Leucate, qui étaient de superbes stations balnéaires méditerranéennes et à peine 40 minutes.
Now that we have returned to the UK, I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our stay at Le Grand Verger - what an amazing house in a fantastic location - just right for our family get together with plenty of space, everything we could ask for in the house and plenty of things to do in the local vicinity without necessarily getting in the car. Yet another Pure France property that has more than met our expectations!
