Nous attendions avec impatience notre semaine ici depuis très longtemps (en raison des restrictions de Covid) et nous n'avons pas été déçus ! Le jardin et la maison sont magnifiques et nous avons tous adoré la piscine. Nous aurions pu rester volontiers dans le jardin toute la semaine mais nous nous sommes arrachés du lieu pour voir Saumur, Villandry et Montsoreau. Nos enfants de 5 et 9 ans ont particulièrement apprécié le Châtau et les jardins de Villandry. Merci pour cette semaine merveilleuse et cet accueil chaleureux - le pétillant était si bon et les roses si belles. Nous espérons revenir.
We had a fantastic 2 week stay here, the house and outside space are really lovely and was the perfect setting for our family to spend time together. We explored the area but were always more than happy to return to the house and spend time around the swimming pool relaxing. Thank you

You could not wish for more in a holiday accommodation. Everything about this place is perfect – the warm welcome by the hosts, the beautifully designed and furnished gite, the very special location and brilliant views over vineyards, forest and softly rolling hills, the helpful recommendations from Esther and Leonard. We only have one regret – and that is that we didn’t stay long enough.
Nous louons des villas dans le sud de la France depuis plus de 20 ans et nous pouvons dire que le propriétaire de la Maison des Communes a été le meilleur hôte que nous ayons jamais eu. Des cadeaux de bienvenue très généreux aux livraisons de petit-déjeuner deux fois par semaine en passant par l'excellent repas au Pourquoi Pas, il n'aurait pas pu faire plus pour nous. La maison est idéalement située, dispose d'une belle piscine et de vélos robustes. Nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir à parcourir les vignobles à vélo jusqu'à Montady, Capestang, Cazouls et aussi le long du Canal du Midi. Un endroit idéal pour un groupe d'amis en vacances prolongées. Merci beaucoup.

We have just returned from a fabulous fortnight. The listing and reviews stated the house was comfy and well equipped, well I can totally vouch for that. We wanted for nothing. Beds are very comfy, the outdoor area is outstanding. Everything you could want is to hand. One, if not the best pool we've ever used and Martyn keeps it spotless everyday. The owners are on hand if needed or not. The village is excellent, a short walk with a restaurant. Highly recommended and we'll be back.

Nous avons passé une semaine absolument charmante à Grand Mauran. Félicitations, cette maison est vraiment super, confortable et bien équipée, nous la recommanderons tous à nos amis.
Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleusement agréable au Malardier. Le temps a été très chaud pendant quelques jours et il faudrait un peu de pluie. Les vues et la configuration de la propriété conviennent parfaitement à un grand groupe familial. Les années consacrées à la construction et au design ont vraiment porté leurs fruits. Perfect for a relaxing holiday. First impressions were better than the photographs. We wanted a relaxing family holiday after a very hectic year and that is what we experienced. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful but left you completely alone unless you needed something. The villa itself is spotless, beautifully laid out and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Outside is incredibly peaceful and we spend the majority of our time by the pool.. Yet although it feels beautifully isolated it is in fact only minutes from shops and lotes of things to see and dol Will definitely return if we are able.
We had a lovely two weeks in this beautiful old French farmhouse with its heavenly views and surrounded in wonderful countryside. We have spent most of our time in the garden, playing bolles, swimming, water ball, table tennis and using the pool table, enjoying leisurely meals on the terrace with great views. Trips out to Vaison la Romain, daily trips to the boulangie, wonderful walks, some brilliant bike rides for children and adults alike. We have seen some wonderful wildlife around the area, geckos, cicadas etc. We are sad to leave but hope to return one day.
We have spent a wonderful week at the Loft du Vigneron. It has been an ideal base to tour from to see some most interesting places steeped in history. We enjoyed returning to the comfort of the Loft each evening - a true home away from home, equipped with everything we could want - and more! The Loft is beautifully appointed and extremely comfortable. As a bonus, it has great lighting, a rarity in so many holiday rental properties. Good luck with the renovations. Maybe we can return some day and experience staying in the new rooms.
Nous avons passé un agréable moment dans l'appartement de Corinne. C'est très propre, il y a toutes les commodités utiles au quotidien, elle a pensé à tout. Endroit magnifique et paisible, superbe balcon pour se détendre. Volets et stores pour toutes les fenêtres et portes-fenêtres pour une intimité totale. C'est un endroit très calme et paisible où se détendre et juste à quelques pas des restaurants et directement sur la plage. Immense supermarché juste en face qui vend tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin, y compris d'excellents fruits de mer. Hautement recommandé.

Nous avons loué cette villa plusieurs fois déjà sans jamais être déçus et nos attentes étaient grandes. Le propriétaire a été serviable et la villa est très bien équipée, avec plus d'ustensiles que vous ne pourriez imaginer, d'une propriété impeccable et un mobilier haut de gamme. Une fois encore, merci pour votre excellent service et nous n'hésiterons pas à la relouer à nouveau ni à la recommander à nos amis.
Exceptionnel. Quel endroit exceptionnel. Nous vous recommandons vivement cette fantastique location comme lieu de vacances idéal pour échapper au stress de la vie de tous les jours. C'est dans un cadre parfait, unique et bien placé pour que les visiteurs puissent profiter des délices de la campagne de la Dordogne.
Nous avons passé un moment merveilleux chez Vero and Thierry. La maison est belle et très bien décorée. Les installations extérieures sont excellentes et disposent de tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Parce que le temps était si beau que nous avons passé la plupart de notre temps au bord de la piscine et y avons mangé tous nos repas. Il y a un supermarché et deux boulangeries à 5 km et Poitiers est facilement accessible pour les visites touristiques et les restaurants. Nous parlons déjà d'y retourner. Je recommande vivement de séjourner ici.

Maison Bourriette is a wonderful place to stay! In a peaceful location. it’s a perfect getaway with cool indoor spaces and beautiful tranquil outdoor spaces. The house boasts wonderful views across the valley, with many routes from the house for walks or runs. The village is a short walk away and has a well stocked traditional market, an outdoor gym for those feeling active! The artificial beach in the village also allows for swimming or relaxing and the local pizza restaurant completes the day! We have visited more than once and each stay is relaxing, with friendly, helpful hosts. We will definitely go back to this hidden gem!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Orchard Farmhouse and would have no problem recommending this beautiful house to friends and family. We liked eating on the terrace admiring the spectacular view of the Dordogne landscape. Great facilities for the children, especially in the games room. Nous avons passé un week-end merveilleux dans un endroit magnifique. Le château est extrêmement confortable , très bien restauré avec des chambres spacieuses et décorées avec goût jusqu’au moindre détail. L’accueil est chaleureux et tout est pensé pour un séjour parfait. Nous étions 14 personnes.
Fabulous home in a beautiful location This was easily one of the best holidays we have had. The house itself is beautiful, it's been refurbished to a high standard from the waterfall showers in the high spec bathrooms to the large range in the kitchen to the cosy decorating in the bedrooms. The back garden has a lovely private in ground pool to cool off in and the surrounding patio has loungers to sunbathe in and is surrounded by pretty landscaping. There are endless beaches and historic towns to visit within short driving distance but you will be equally as content not leaving the house. The village is lovely, it has a couple of pubs and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk from the house, along with boulangeries, a butchers, green grocers and a supermarket. Markets every other day in the square. The house is within a stones throw of it all which we found so handy. Terry was always available should you need any assistance and was very thoughtful and considerate, as was his housekeeper agent Paul. I can't say enough about this property, it was fabulous in every way!
