We had an excellent family holiday at your property. The accommodation was first class.
The property is set in lovely grounds; away from it all yet close to the bastide towns of Monpazier and Villereal. We particularly enjoyed the pool area, which is well kept and maintained on a regular basis by one of the locals. The house is comfortable and equipped with everything you need.
We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The private, secluded setting was just what we needed. We used th eoutdoor kitchen all the time, such a wonderful addition to the property. We will be back!

We have had the most delightful holiday! It began with your friendly and welcoming e-mails well before we got here! We have self-catered across Europe in some pretty good places but none quite so lovely as 'The Loft'. The way you prepared it for our arrival, and your warm and generous welcome was simply stunning! We have since enjoyed the quality and comfort of this 'home from home', and your thoughtful attention to all those little details that have made our stay so very special. Our celebration 'bubbly' and delicious cake was a complete surprise and a real treat. We have wondered how it has taken us quite so long to discover the Languedoc, Occitanie! From our all too brief stay we have seen some of the most beautiful countryside, enjoyed the wines and food and visited some of the prettiest towns and villages (many thanks for the suggestion of the Sunday market at Saint-Chinian - what a delight!). We have no doubt that we'll be back and thank you again so much for making us feel so welcome.
Stunning château in rural France. In August this year we made our 3rd visit to Château Velouse with a group of friends and once again had a wonderful time. The first time we flew to Paris and hired a car but found it more economical to take a ferry - crossing to Dieppe last year and Calais in August. Easy drive on all occasions. Location is in a beautiful rural area steeped in history and close to the Loire with its majestic châteaux and extensive forests. Medieval Bourge, only a few miles away, is very well worth several visits – the acoustics in the cathedral are amazing. The surrounding area is reasonably flat and so an ideal centre for cycling on very quiet roads and off road tracks. The communal areas and bedrooms in the château are impressive and very classy. The pool area is an ideal centre for complete relaxation. Pool is clean and well maintained. The hosts are extremely welcoming and friendly - very attentive to our needs and not obtrusive. Well worth a visit.
Exquisitely renovated French manor house. This house was exquisitely restored with close attention to period detail. It is perfectly curated and integrated with antique fixtures and objects d'art as well all the modern comforts you could want. The kitchen is one of the most well equipped I have ever stayed in so the owners must be cooks. There are lovely spots to sit throughout the gardens with comfortable furnishings. The house itself is perfect for large families or a selection of couples. The location is ideal for touring Chagny, Beaune and the rest of Burgundy. Sigrid was incredibly responsive, helpful, flexible and kind. I can not recommend the home and Sigrid highly enough. We had a completely charming and comfortable stay. Thank you again for sharing your lovely home.

Merci pour ces merveilleuses vacances à séjourner dans votre belle villa. Nous avons adoré la piscine et le jardin, la vue est magnifique et nous avons beaucoup apprécié prendre notre café le matin et boire du vin, assis aux différents endroits si parfaitement disséminés dans le jardin. Nous avons apprécié le marché du lundi matin à Duras et le marché nocturne de Monségur le mercredi soir. Merci à Frédéric pour son accueil chaleureux. Ce fut une semaine vraiment relaxante et agréable.
Nous avons passé de merveilleux moments dans votre très belle maison ! Ces 2 semaines ont passé beaucoup trop vite et nous sommes tristes de partir. Même si le temps n'était pas très ensoleillé ces derniers jours, nous avons pu nagé tous les jours. La piscine est super et elle va nous manquer. Nous avons visité Minerve, Carcassonne, Béziers, Narbonne et Lagrasse. Des croissants tous les matins au van à 10h, délicieux ! J'adore la décoration et tout ce qui se trouve dans la maison et le design vintage, vous avez beaucoup de style. J'espère revenir un jour bientôt.

The house is beautiful - plenty of space for a large group to have both together time and also their own space. Outdoor areas are fantastic and beds super comfy! . Overall highly recommended.

We had a lovely week at the farmhouse with lots of swimming and relaxing by the pool. The children (and adults!) have enjoyed the excellent selection of toys and games. Wonderful location for days out nearby and we would recommend the local boulangerie for morning croissants and freshly baked bread. Leaving with lots of happy memories.
La maison est magnifique et se prête à des moments de partage parfait. Son côté cosy, son équipement très complet nous invitent à profiter de chaque instant. Les chambres offrent indépendance et grand confort. Toute la famille a adoré. La vue est magnifique à toute heure et la terrasse devient un pur bonheur au premier rayon de soleil. Les environs n'ont rien à envier à la Toscane et cette douceur de vivre ! Sandie et David ont été très sympathiques et ont répondu à toutes nos attentes. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Cédric, another wonderful holiday in your beautiful villa. We enjoyed it so much, with trips towards Narbonne, the Canal du Midi, Pézenas, Gruissan for the stage 16 of the Tour de France, as well as lots of time in the fantastic pool! you wer a great host, showing us your new wine cellar (I didn't drink all the wine!) and telling us your plans to make the house even better. Fantastic time in this great house and location. 2 weeks of rest, relaxation and fun with the kids and extended family. Thank you. What a wonderful place! So much for the kids to do - swimngs, slide, trampoline, swimming and may runing races, lots of yumy wines and cheese. Two scrumptious meals cooked by Tim and Ali. Very tempted to return next year! Thank you. What an amazing find, fantastic location and beautiful house. We had an awesome 2 weeks with extended family and friends. Great hospitality from Tim and Ali. Thanks a million. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille chez Helen ! Nous avons apprécié le cadre idyllique de la maison avec vue sur le château de Margon depuis la piscine. Piscine également très agréable. Le logement était extrêmement bien équipé, il avait tout le nécessaire pour passer un bon séjour et profiter au maximum du potentiel de la maison. Un petit plus pour les ventilateurs dans les chambres du sous-sol, qui nous ont permis de dormir pendant les grosses chaleurs. La grande table à l'extérieur nous a permis de prendre nos repas tous ensemble, en profitant du beau soleil. Nous pouvons recommander cette superbe maison, Merci !
Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable au Château Grandchamp de Chablis. Le cadre, l'équipement, la piscine, tout est fait pour s'y sentir bien et pour tous! Nous remercions les gardiennes pour leur accueil très sympathique. Nous conseillons fortement ce château, ainsi que la visite et la dégustation des cépages avoisinants
Nous avons passé une agréable quinzaine ici à Bessan. La maison était confortable et paisible. Le temps a été magnifique pendant tout notre séjour, contrairement au Royaume-Uni ! Nous avons apprécié les villes voisines, notamment Agde. Nous nous souviendrons de ces vacances et ne voulons pas rentrer à la maison cet après-midi. Merci beaucoup.
