Les villas du domaine étaient superbes - situées au bord d'un chemin et littéralement à des kilomètres de tout, au cœur des magnifiques vignobles, avec de splendides vues au loin. Elles sont des équipements haut de gamme, chaque chambre ayant une salle de bains attenante. Les chambres étaient grandes, bien meublées et très confortables. La cuisine et les pièces de vie étaient idéales pour notre famille de 21 personnes âgées de 10 mois à plus de 70 ans. La piscine était totalement sûre et les équipements de jeux, etc. très utiles. Thomas, qui nous a aidés avec notre réservation, a été d'une aide indéfectible et a répondu à toutes nos questions de manière très efficace. Nicolas était charmant aussi et tellement patient à chaque demande que nous faisions. Il nous a également fait une excellente visite de la cave viticole. Nous avons été enchantés par ses services. Nous recommandons sans réserve le hameau de Valescure à toute famille souhaitant passer des vacances dans une belle et calme région de Provence.
Juste pour dire merci. Nous avons passé un agréable moment et votre maison était magnifique. Nous la recommanderons. Je ne pense pas qu'il y ait quoi que ce soit à améliorer ! Merci aussi pour l'organisation du beau temps! Nous avions réussi à nous déplacer dans plusieurs des endroits que vous m'aviez recommandés et avons pris de très bons repas à Pézenas et Neffiès. J'espère revenir à un moment donné.
Le Château de la Ronde était fantastique, la famille a beaucoup apprécié le séjour.
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans votre belle villa, merci. Nous avions une voiture de location, nous avons donc pu facilement explorer la magnifique région du Languedoc. Tout près, nous avons passé un merveilleux moment à la Seigneurie de Peyrat en profitant du chœur des cigales lors de notre 'PIQUE-NIQUE CHIC', une expérience interactive et amusante ! Nous avons également embauché un chef un soir pour cuisiner pour nous à la villa, ce qui a été un grand succès et vraiment délicieux. En vous souhaitant un bel été 2022 et en espérant vous revoir bientôt.
So much love and thought has gone in to creating the Loft! It shows in every detail, but most importantly, in the ambiance it radiates throughout. You made us feel so very welcome, both before and after our arrival. Your kindness and generosity have meant a great deal to us, and the ‘wine time’ we had with you has been great fun too! We so admire what you have achieved with the Loft and wish you every success with the renovations of the maison de maitre - can’t wait to see the finished article. Our warmest wishes to you both and to Big Mack and Little Mabel - such gorgeous pooches!
A really fabulous time had by all 9 in our 'gang', you have left no stone unturned here in this great house. Location is perfect, Revel is a smashing town with everything you need whilst still retaining the feel of a rural French setting. A holiday none of us will forget. This holiday has been great! I have really enjoyed playing in the pool and running round the huge garden for exercise. Written by a teenager pretending they are 48!
Comfortable house on the edge of Seillans village with lovely views. Great terrace for outdoor eating and a lovely, well maintained pool. Air conditioning in the bedrooms was lovely and silent. Good location for exploring the area, though you could easily just stay put, relax, eat at the local restaurants and shop at the well stocked local Carrefour. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and fully intend to come back.
Idéalement placée à deux pas de la Dordogne et de Sarlat, Le Borghesia offre de belles prestations dans un environnement préservé et calme. Son aménagement intérieur combine parfaitement le charme de l'ancien avec le confort moderne. La décoration composée en partie de meubles et tableaux de famille rajoute un supplément d'âme à cette charmante ferme où nous avons passé une semaine très agréable. Les propriétaires, très accueillants, sont une mine d'informations sur la région. Un seul regret, ne pas avoir eu le temps de visiter leurs autres locations situées à deux pas du Borghesia.
Exceptional house in an exceptional setting! The house is ideally located, away from the tourist crowds with magnificent hikes nearby but close enough to Apt for basic needs. The house is as pleasant indoors in bad weather as it is outdoors the rest of the time. The kitchen is very well equipped. The host was available before the stay to advise us on all logistical aspects. An on-site contact was also made during the stay.
Nous étions six (trois couples) venus des États-Unis et avons séjourné une semaine au Château des Dragons en octobre. Laurence et Marian ont été des hôtes absolument merveilleux. Chaleureux et accueillants, ils se sont assurés que nous ne manquions de rien au château. Ils nous ont organisé une superbe excursion œnologique et ont répondu avec beaucoup de gentillesse à toutes nos questions sur la région. On peut facilement se rendre à pied au village voisin ou faire une randonnée dans les champs et les bois environnants. Nous retournerons sans hésiter au charmant Château des Dragons.
Merci beaucoup d'avoir rendu tout cela possible. Nous avons passé un séjour incroyable ici. Nous serions ravis de revenir pour y célébrer un anniversaire !
We have absolutely loved our stay here. The house, the pool, the garden, the position and the privacy are all spot on. Lisa and Wayne have been great - helpful and discreet at the same time. Many thanks and look forward to a future visit.
My wife and I have been visiting France for over 20 years and The Loft is the best property we have stayed at. The photographs on the website do not do it justice. Russell and Karen have fitted out The Loft with wonderful taste and all of the bathrooms are top quality including the selection of toiletries left for their guests to use. Their attention to detail is second to none. We received an extensive welcome pack when we arrived at the house and Karen even delivered fresh pastries for breakfast on the Sunday morning from the local Boulangerie. Outside the house there is a beautiful pool and garden but the jewel in the crown is the large sheltered "porch area". This is a half open and half covered space off the front of The Loft where you can choose sun or shade during the day. The BBQ is there along with a big dining table and also sofas for relaxing. It’s a fab place to eat and drink during the day or on an evening with a lovely view of the extensive gardens. Rieux Minervois is a nice little town situated in the middle of the Minervois wine region It has a good Italian restaurant within 2 minutes walk from the house, which Karen kindly booked it for us for the night we arrived. The food was very good. The town is also well placed to visit Carcassonne, Narbonne and several of the coastal towns; we particularly enjoyed Gruissan. It is also surrounded by many other small villages with excellent restaurants if you want enjoy a lazy lunch during your holiday. Karen will even book them for you if you ask. Overall we spent a lovely week in The Languedoc. Thank you Russell and Karen for your hospitality and for going to such lengths to make our holiday so memorable.
We are finally home and now reflecting on happy memories of our wonderful holiday in France and particularly our 10 nights spent here. Where do we begin to ever thank you for all that you did and for making our holiday so special. We felt like we had our own personal butler looking after us throughout our stay. Even prior to our arrival we welcomed the emails, the ease of booking and then promptly replying to any query that we had , as well as the phone call to offer help and support the week before we were scheduled to arrive. We really appreciated the welcome basket of goodies and all the other little things that you had thoughtfully put in the fridge, making our arrival into the gîte a very warm and welcome one. Your 'blood, sweat and tears' have truly paid off as we could see the attention to detail that has gone in to making this a luxury gîte for your guests. We noticed the quality of furnishings and fittings, bed linen, sumptuous soft towels and then separate towels laid out for us by the pool, all of which made for an exciting stay ahead! The beds were extremely comfortable and accompanied by the peace and tranquility at night meant we both woke each morning feeling fully refreshed! We particularly enjoyed our time spent around the swimming pool and also using the outdoor kitchen/BBQ. Everything was spotlessly clean and we know that you ensured the pool area was cleaned down for us every morning. We were blessed with good weather too. The views from the terrace were stunning and we never tired from sitting there overlooking the local Cuzorn area and the valley beyond. It was a pleasure getting to know you and hearing about your journey from Essex to Lot-et-Garonne. For us, as first guests it was a privilege staying at Lasserre and we will be talking about you and our holiday for years to come. I equally hope that for you and Kate your first guests did not let you down and we have left a wonderful impression on you too! We sincerely hope that you are rewarded for the fruits of your labour and whilst we would like you to have a busy season, just secretly we would like to keep this little bit of heaven purely for us!
At Les Oliviers du Sud we felt like God in France as usual. From the sunny terrace, with a glass of wine in hand, a cheese nearby, we enjoyed the vines in the valley below us in ‘deafening’ silence, watched the olives come out of the blossom and listened to the cheerful twittering of the birds. The flat of the ever friendly and helpful hosts Esther and Leonard is furnished with taste. A touch of nostalgia with the look of today. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom is comfortable. Everything not only looks new, but is new. From the first moment, we felt at home here. The nearby forests invite you to go for a nice walk. By the way, you can walk everywhere in the area. Tip: the route along the medieval village of La Roque-sur-Ceze with the waterfalls nearby. In the village of Tresques, near Domaine Cadignac, we imagined ourselves in the France of old. A medieval tower with an exhibition of contemporary art, a bakery and grocery shop, a water spring where the villagers tap their daily drinking water and a good winemaker. Where do you still find these villages? The residence is conveniently located for visiting larger cities. Half an hour’s drive and you are in Orange with memories of the Dutch royal house or in the papal city of Avignon, where you can browse in one of those real French bric-a-brac markets in a suburb every Saturday morning. Or you can walk around Nîmes Collesseum after an hour’s drive and have visited the impressive aqueduct built by Romans on the way there. The ancient city centre of Nîmes and of historic Avignon are also an eldorado for funshoppers. In short, the fully equipped and rustic L'Oliveraie was an ideal base for us to (re)discover French nature and culture. We will definitely come back here again!

Le paysage environnant était spectaculaire : des vues inoubliables depuis la maison et la terrasse de la piscine. Tout était parfait dans la maison et la superbe piscine. Les commerces et restaurants à proximité étaient excellents. Quelle trouvaille !

A very beautiful setting for our first family trip to Europe! The villa and surrounds were so beautiful that nobody wanted to go anywhere… just sit and relax. A fantastic kitchen helped us feed our big group. Brent and Debbie were very welcoming and made our week very special. Thank you.
The property is absolutely divine. Romantic and picturesque. A real private get-away in the heart of a medieval hill-top village. We were stunned at how quiet it was and loved sitting in the garden in the morning having coffee. We also loved BBQing in the courtyard in the evenings and sitting out past dark to watch the amazing display of stars! The pool was such a delight and the air-con was perfect for a break from the heat in the middle of the day. While we went on several day trips recommended, the village had so much on offer we didn't need to venture out often and can't wait to return!

Quelle belle maison! Les jardins, la vue et la piscine sont tout simplement magnifiques et nous avons passé les plus belles et les plus reposantes vacances en admirant la vue, en profitant de la magnifique piscine et du fantastique canapé, l'endroit idéal pour se détendre à l'ombre du mûrier. Marianne [la femme de ménage] a été merveilleuse - nous avons apprécié la balade en canoë sur le Dropt et la visite d'Eymet, sinon nous avons tout ce dont nous avions besoin ici!

Can't believe the stay is almost at an end. We have had a lovely time and the weather promised poorly but delivered very well, which enabled daily swimming in the brilliant pool. We all enjoyed the games of TT (table tennis) and boules competitions. So many interesting things to do in the surrounding area; we only managed Bergerac twice. Once for a wine tasting in the wonderful Maison du Vin and once for a very enjoyable boat trip. Golfing Black Kheri and the walk around the lake Les Graoussettes. The cave at Les Eyzies was very informative and curious to note the difference in scenery; handles not to be missed! Apart from the BBQ provided, we happened on Thursday Market at Monpazier; simply great and such a pretty place. We also enjoyed the marché gourmand at Villeréal (every Monday from 6.30pm. Bring tablecloth, cutlery and drinking vessels). Their counterparts in Issigeac on Thursdays during summer. Restaurant L’Atelier in Issigeac was a wonderful treat on our penultimate day and we would suggest booking a place at their mini, shared table and great food and plenty of wine.
Nous avons tous beaucoup apprécié notre séjour aux Averries. Le chalet est beau, charmant et confortable à tout point de vue. Les jardins, magnifiques. Les hôtes, très aimables. Nous avons également apprécié la piscine. Le charmant village, à quelques minutes à pied ou à vélo, a tout ce dont vous avez besoin. C'est un endroit parfait pour les journées tranquilles et visiter de nombreuses attractions à proximité, il y a beaucoup à voir et à faire pour tous les âges. Petits et grands ont apprécié le magnifique château. Nous espérons donc revenir.
We have had a wonderful time in this super villa. Very relaxing. Collioure is still as pretty as ever, we had our honeymoon here 20 years ago!
