We have had a wonderful relaxed and fun week here at Le Manoir de Duras. It has felt like a home from home. All the practical equipment to making things smooth and lots of games and books to enjoy as the days go by. Thank you to the owners for a lovely family week. A real holiday.
Beautiful accommodation with so much attention to detail! We were all very amazed by the cleanliness and its amenities. We have never been to such a beautiful place before. We were a group of 6 people. On the terrace you have a beautiful view and there is a waterfall nearby. Sophie is a very lovely and helpful person. We were already very convinced of the pictures of the villa, in reality it was even more beautiful. The kitchen was fully equipped, there was no lack of a device or spice. Very very hygienic everything! I would be happy to come back.
Nous avons passé un trés bon séjour au calme et en plein nature dans une domaine plein de charmes. C'est un endroit idéal pour se reposer et se ressourcer et aussi découvrir cette belle région. Nos hôtes ont été très accueillants et disponibles. Nous recommandons cet endroit !
Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour au petit pigeonnier ! Debbie a été disponible et très attentive à nos besoins. Elle a été très efficace et discrète en même temps. Nous avons apprécié la beauté et le silence du lieu ainsi que le très grand espace avec la piscine à notre entière disposition. Debbie a vraiment su nous mettre à l’aise pour nous nous sentions chez nous. Nous lui disons encore merci pour sa gentillesse et ce très agréable séjour qu’elle nous a permis de vivre avec nos enfants et petit enfant !
We have just returned from a wonderful 2 week stay. The gite is very well appointed with lots of games, which our daughter really enjoyed. We especially enjoyed the warm swimming pool (cleaned daily), summer kitchen, beautiful garden and multiple outside seating areas. It is very well located and within easy reach of some beautiful Bastide villages. We especially liked Villareal and Eymet. Special thanks to Jean and Martin, who are perfect hosts and on hand to provide recommendations if needed. The local village of Lauzun is within a five-minute walk and we recommend the boulangerie and weekly table gourmands held during the summer. We are already planning a return visit!

Just back at work after two weeks at Maison Tigre and wanted to thank you for sharing your home with us – we had a fantastic time. We have been staying in France and Italy over the last ten years – varying our choice between rural isolation (for space and privacy) and village houses (for the boulangeries and café s, etc.) and I have to say that your home provides the perfect combination in a part of France where there is so much to do and see. I also really like the house itself – the great care that has gone into the development, finishing and furnishings is evident (and I like the modernist / minimalist style you have employed). All in all a brilliant holiday.
Many thanks for our wonderful week here in your beautiful home and surroundings. We loved every minute with the children spending their time in the pool, playing table tennis and with all the other games (chess, dominoes…) You kindly supplied we couldn’t have asked for more and very much appreciated our welcome pack. We are all hoping to repeat this special holiday here.

Super séjour dans cette sublime villa ! On s'y sent bien, comme à la maison... Nous y avons passé du bon temps... bien trop court une semaine ! À très bientôt.
We had a fabulous holiday, thank you ! What a lovely location; very peaceful but within easy access of a variety of places to visit - Nice, Saint Paul de Vence, Vence, Grasse and everything to offer along the French Riviera. The house is large and comfortable with space for families or groups of friends to spread out. There is ample outside space to enjoy - around the pool, behind the house to have shade and beside the kitchen for a morning cup of coffee. The view from the pool is stunning allowing one to see a huge distance along the coast - that will live long in our memory!
Semaine fantastique. C'était un vrai plaisir de pouvoir se balader. Nous avons beaucoup aimé le Graud d'Agde, St Guillem Le Désert et Collioure, l'Hacienda à Pézenas et le marché à proximité, les excellents Violis sur la plage. Il y a tout pour passer de bonnes vacances à proximité de la propriété.
La Charmante Distillerie est un merveilleux lieu de vacances. Située au cœur de la campagne française, à 10 minutes d'une jolie ville animée. Mark et Gary sont des hôtes parfaits, discrets et toujours disponibles pour nous conseiller sur les sites touristiques et les restaurants locaux ou nous aider. L'intérieur est élégant, les œuvres d'art magnifiques, le mobilier très confortable et les chambres parfaites. Six adultes et trois enfants ont occupé la propriété pendant une semaine. Les hôtes ont répondu à tous nos besoins, allant même jusqu'à acheter de nouveaux jouets pour notre petit-fils de 9 mois. À aucun moment, La Distillerie ne nous a semblé bondée. La piscine était chauffée et mes trois petits-enfants nageaient et jouaient sans cesse dans l'aire de jeux dédiée. Ma famille et moi recommandons sans hésiter La Charmante Distillerie.
Chaque partie de la maison regorge de détails et de charme. Toutes les autres maisons vont pâlir en comparaison maintenant ! Nous serions ravis de pouvoir revenir.

Loved this gorgeous house! The interior design is very cool. The pool was glorious and a constant source of entertainment and fun for kids and adults! Wonderfully comfortable beds and great linen and bedding. Detail is everthing! I REALLY enjoyed being here. Thank you.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Orchard Farmhouse and would have no problem recommending this beautiful house to friends and family. We liked eating on the terrace admiring the spectacular view of the Dordogne landscape. Great facilities for the children, especially in the games room. We were not too familiar with the region, but since we live in a highly fast-paced city, we knew we wanted a tranquil and somewhat less-touristy vacation spot surrounded by nature. Through an amazing agency, we were able to lease the cottage for two weeks in late August and had an amazing time there. The property dates back to 1750 and is fully well-renovated - every detail has been taken into consideration so one is able to enjoy the experience of staying in an authentic French country house, but with modern amenities that enhance the original character of the property, rather than detract from it. The town and the people are very charming and there are restaurants, cafés, a grocery store, shops, butcher shops, etc. and an excellent choice of patisseries and boulangeries, which my husband happily frequented every morning in order to bring back fresh breakfast goodies! There is a weekly market in the town square, just a 5-minute drive from the house selling amazing produce and other artisanal delights! The town is within a comfortable drive from beautiful sites in neighboring Beynac, Sarlat and Bergerac, not counting other small picturesque places you find on the way. And if you haven't done much research, fret not because the owners of the home have compiled quite an impressive binder of information with all of the popular attractions and must-see places in the area. I do not over-exaggerate when I say the house is extremely well-equipped as if it were our own home! When we were not out sightseeing during the morning, we were downstairs preparing food in the kitchen, which may seem small in the photos, but it is spacious and the layout is wonderful - the oven and stove are ideal for seasoned cooks, there is a full-size dishwasher and tons of pots, pans, utensils, gadgets and appliances - all in superb condition, so we wanted for nothing. Overall, we had an excellent stay at Maison Bourg Cales, which I would highly recommend to anyone in search of an idyllic, quiet getaway in the beautiful French countryside.

Nous avons passé de nombreux jours dans la belle piscine et avons également beaucoup aimé explorer les magnifiques environs, y compris Saumur. Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour et serions ravis de revenir.
Nous 8 (trois générations) avons passé un moment fabuleux au Malardier. La maison est magnifique et très confortable et les vues étaient époustouflantes. J'ai accompli mon projet d'essayer tous les sièges extérieurs pour profiter des nombreuses vues ! Nous partons le cœur lourd. Fortement recommandé: un repas cuisiné par Louise, bien mieux que de nombreux restaurants !
We have had a wonderful week in this beautiful house in this stunning location. The sunflowers fields are just gorgeous and we will forever have fond memories of Gascony and the sunflowers. We had such a lovely week at Les Cabannes with 3 generations of our family... A fantastic, well equipped, welcoming house in a beautiful place, set in so much space for everyone to do their own thing, if they so desire. Les Cabannes really is in perfect seclusion but not isolation - plenty of wonderful things to see and do nearby, if you can persuade yourself (or anyone) to leave the pool!
Fabulous elegant stay. Just returned from a fantastic stay at Manoir Capraise. We only had a week at this fantastic house but it was very memorable. The main house and gîte have been beautifully and tastefully restored. There is great quality and attention to detail throughout from the lovely terraces / landscaping / pool / vegetable garden to the quality furnishings and equipment . Many a lovely meal was enjoyed admiring the fantastic location from the multiple outdoor seating areas on the terraces. The gîte provided a great independent area for teenagers and the well equipped gym was a bonus, plans for a games room will further enhance this great property. We appreciated a lovely welcome package of local wine and produce, another quality touch. Thank you Mark and Sarah, everything was just perfect, we hope to return again.
Merci pour une quinzaine fantastique ! C'était un endroit merveilleux pour célébrer un anniversaire spécial avec des amis et la famille. La maison était magnifique et nous avons apprécié l'atmosphère luxueuse et la décoration de bon goût. Les petites attentions ont été très appréciées particulièrement les livraisons de petit-déjeuner. Nous avons également apprécié la visite de la grotte de Saint-Chinian. Nous avons apprécié le repas au restaurant familial La Tournelle, un service amical et des prix très raisonnables. Pour un autre déjeuner gastronomique avec une vue impressionnante, nous avons apprécié le Tour à Monterey. Un déjeuner à prix raisonnable. Merci pour tout.
A wonderful first week to our holidays. The house is wonderfully renovated and has everything a family can wish! We also had the chance of a very warm weather which gave us plenty of opportunities to enjoy the great terrace and had al fresco dining every day. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your wonderful property. PS: The Auberge St Jean is a must eat in the area!
