Just back from a week's stay at Villa La Baronne. I understand this is a newly renovated property and it is very clear that no expense has been spared on the project. It is a large property that could suit more than one family or a group of friends and can sleep up to 14 people. Every detail has been lovingly considered and stylishly executed. Bedrooms are beautifully appointed with elegant furnishings and comfortable beds. The house has been designed to offer endless activities both inside and out. We were lucky with the weather for October and so were able to use the huge and stunning Swimming Pool, the Jacuzzi, Pétanque pitch and the specially installed Croquet Lawn. In the evening, we took advantage of the cinema and games room, playing pool, table football, ping pong, chess and darts. A brilliant house for families with teens! There is even a huge TV, especially for use with games consoles. The house has a beautiful kitchen, fully equipped with every gadget you could require. Although we didn't use it, there is also a BBQ for evenings on the huge terrace. The property is situated on the banks of the River Tarn and is surrounded by beautiful mature trees and a large garden. It was a very quick and easy drive from the airport and local amenities for food shopping. The local village, a ten-minute walk away, was very quiet but does have a pleasant local restaurant and within a few minutes by car you can access larger towns. In less than 40 minutes we reached Toulouse centre and the beautiful town of Albi and I gather there are many other attractions within an hour from the property. Although we were briefly aware of a party at the neighbouring property, we found the location very peaceful, with lovely dark skies at night for star gazing. The Wi-Fi was extremely good and there is plenty of parking. All in all we would highly recommend this property, which is of the highest quality. Our thanks to the charming hosts.
Nous avons reçu un accueil chaleureux de Caterina à notre arrivée. Ce gîte est vraiment charmant et très bien aménagé. Le lit était confortable, la douche excellente et la cuisine très bien équipée. Le temps est actuellement automnal, frais avec des averses. Malgré cela, nous avons exploré un endroit différent chaque jour : Sarlat, Domme, Château de Losse. En lisant les commentaires d'autres voyageurs dans ce guide, nous avons découvert de jolis villages que nous ne connaissions pas : Fanlac, Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère, Saint-Amand-de-Coly et Saint-Géniès. Tous offrent de magnifiques panoramas sur la campagne environnante. Ce gîte serait idéal pour un séjour estival, avec sa belle piscine et ses espaces repas extérieurs. La semaine est passée bien trop vite, mais nous garderons de merveilleux souvenirs et de nombreuses photos. Merci Caterina et Steve.
We have just returned from our holiday at your property which we all thoroughly enjoyed. I wanted to write to give feedback on our stay as I understand we were the first guests at the property. It was was the exact property we were looking for, in a quiet rural setting with the farm next door and the property itself offered everything we needed. The pool area was particularly well configured, safe for children and practical. It was so relaxing and particularly for my brother who enjoyed three days with us during the break of his six month tour in Afghanistan. It was so perfect we are very tempted to book it again for next year. Please pass our thanks on to all the owners for arranging the child facilities and to Gary and Louise who kept the pool immaculately.

Very nice castle in a beautiful estate. If the sunny weather is on your side don't hesitate for a second. With friends and family, this place will allow you to relax with peace of mind. Thanks to Gaëlle for her availability and kindness.
What a magic place! We have loved every minute here. Pete is the most incredible host and we loved our evening chats. The kayaking has been the highlight, we loved Sarlat - Had a great lunch at Lou Podel and not forgetting the disco pool lights after dark. The kids loved it! We'll be back.
Villa avec vue indiscutable. Tous le nécessaires pour cuisiner. Piscine au top, un éclairage autour de celle-ci pour le soir, serait la cerise sur le gâteau. Vue sublime. Propriétaire très réactive et organisation d'arrivée et de départ au top. Village au calme et typique.
Vam anar quatre parelles a passar el cap d'anyy ha estat sensacional. La casa es molt acollidira y comode. 4 habitacions amb el seu bany. La zona cuina menjador sala d'estar ample, comoda i funcional. La calefacció perfecta. La anfitriona responia quasi immediatament a les consultes que li hem fet. El poble també es molt mqco y tranquil. Un lloc molt recomanable.

Merci beaucoup pour les recommandations de restaurants - je vais y réfléchir. Nous passons un moment fantastique ici. Je pense que votre maison est probablement la meilleure maison dans laquelle nous ayons séjourné en France au fil des ans. Elle est juste fabuleuse ! Nous avons passé une semaine vraiment fantastique ici et je suis presque sûr que nous aurons envie de revenir l'année prochaine. Votre maison a été si agréable... J'ai lu quelques livres ici, j'ai aussi adoré parcourir les livres de la table basse. Votre panier de bienvenue était le plus généreux que nous ayons jamais reçu dans les maisons que nous avons louées. Nous avons pu également utiliser des serviettes de piscine. Et je sais que cela ressemble un peu à une critique d'hôtel, mais les draps, les serviettes et les salles de bain étaient de qualité supérieure! Nous avons commencé à faire nos bagages ! P.S. Nous sommes allés au Moulin pour le déjeuner et c'était superbe. Nous vous contacterons pour, espérons-le, réserver à nouveau la même semaine l'année prochaine.
Beautifully converted and furnished house with two lovely gîtes, a swimming pool and terraces. The wide views over the vineyards are unprecedented. The owners again make something very beautiful !!!
You have been incredible hosts, communication and recommendations were excellent. The house exceeded all of our expectations and we all had an incredible time making good use of all that was on offer! Stuart and I particularly enjoyed the table tennis which got quite competitive! We most definitely will be back again soon!
Nous avons passé une semaine de vacances formidable à Maison Lemance. La maison est entièrement équipée et vous trouverez tout ce dont vous avez besoin dans la cuisine, la salle de jeux pour les enfants, une superbe piscine et même un tennis de table. Il y a un grand et beau jardin qui est idéal pour que les enfants puissent courir, pendant que nous buvions du vin sur le balcon. Le propriétaire nous a laissé une liste de recommandations d'activités et de restaurants dans la région, ce qui a été très utile. Nous recommandons vivement de séjourner à Maison Lemance.
Thank you for a great 2-week stay here. The house is lovely and we have enjoyed staying here. Can highly recommend the Château de la Rivière vineyard tour, 10 Euros per person and well worth it. Best meals out we had were at Bistro Pharell (the food is sooo good!) and Bistro Maritime in Libourne - great river views from the terrace. Saint-Émilion is a must - so beautiful. If you are a fish lover, a trip out to Arcachon is well worth a visit. Chez Pierre is amazing for seafood. Dunes du Pilat are also worth the climb for the spectacular views! Sunny evenings by the pool are also amazing. Had a great time overall, thanks so much. PS. We think the tortoise should be called Therry (Titi to short) fora tortoise he can move fairly quickly! And loves lettuce! And tomatoes!
We had a wonderful stay in the Farmhouse. The weather wasn’t always as perfect as we hoped it would be but the gym, the tennis court and even the excellent piano kept the family fully occupied on the days we could not use the pool. The boys loved exploring the woods above the farmhouse and the parents enjoyed the wines. We were very happy to get a wine tasting on our first day (and we soon realised we needed an extra pitcher so we could water down the delicious grape juice to avoid the kids bouncing off the walls). Very enjoyable facilities and extremely gracious hosts! Thank you. P.S. We can recommend the tree-climbing park at Thoiré.
Thank you so much for letting us stay in your lovely house. We were lucky enough to see the (almost) full moon rising from the perfect spot in the garden on our first night. We loved the house and pool and most of all the beautiful views. To be in a village and yet so quiet is unique. We very much hope to come back.
La maison est géniale, chaque chambre possède son indépendance en terme de douche et WC. Elle est très spacieuse et bien fournie: un billard, Ping pong, barbecue, rétroprojecteur, énorme cuisine/bar très bien équipée et piscine (non chauffée). L’hôtesse d’accueil est très sympa.
We had a marvellous holiday at le Chambarru. It was the nicest house we have stayed in during our many visits to France over the years.

A week at the Mas de Pitou was blissful. The house was comfortable and included everything you would need for a relaxing stay. The view of the Alpilles, bright sunshine throughout the house and the fragrance of lavender and rosemary from the garden completed the picture. I will most definitely return to enjoy more exploring of the regions bounty in farmer's markets, Médiéval villages and stunning views.
Have had a wonderful holiday, very restful and really enjoyed the pool especially on a hot day. Enjoyed visiting Sète, Agde and Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert. Would love to return on day. Absolutely loved the pool and the garden. Would recommend Les Polmiers and Pézenas is a beautiful town!
Merci pour ce merveilleux séjour au Mas Repenti! Une si belle et spacieuse villa, si élégamment décorée et bien aménagée. Ses jardins sont magnifiques avec une belle piscine et une vue imprenable. La villa était fantastique pour les enfants avec des balançoires dans le jardin et une salle de jeux comprenant beaucoup de jouets. Nous avons demandé à un merveilleux chef de préparer de délicieux dîners pour les enfants et les adultes, ce qui a rendu ce séjour encore plus relaxant. Alexandra nous a également fourni de nombreuses informations intéressantes sur les environs, et notamment recommandé une incroyable plage et un fantastique lieu d'escalade en plein air pour les enfants. Dans l’ensemble, ce fut un séjour des plus fantastiques et nous avons hâte d’y retourner !
Nous avons passé un très bon moment. Une belle villa et une piscine avec accès à un bon choix de restaurants/bars. Merci beaucoup pour vos généreuses livraisons de petit-déjeuner et pour un super repas au Restaurant 781. Nous avons passé la plupart des vacances à nous détendre au bord de la piscine. Nous avons fait quelques visites aux écluses (Canal du Midi). C'était très beau et le bus pour Béziers était une expérience amusante. Notre petit-fils de deux ans voulait rester dans notre maison de vacances et m'a dit qu'il ne voulait pas retourner à Orpington ! J'aimerais bien rester ici aussi.
Well kept gardens and lovely house. Would highly recommend to anyone. Extras like the UK adapters were a nice touch. Pool made the children holiday. It was also very clean and perfect size and depth. Great hosts, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We enjoyed our relaxing holiday at Le Tesquet which lived up to expectations. The accommodation was great with everything we needed>Pete was a genial host who was fun of good ideas and suggestions. The swimming pool was wonderful. Thank you.

We had the most wonderful ‘family and friends ‘gathering at La Petite Maison Générille. The hosts were most wonderful and nothing was too much trouble . They told us of markets, restaurants, gardens and vineyards… all were wonderful. The houses are spacious and well equipped the grounds and gardens perfect and the salt water pool... bliss. We had children and tiny grandchildren with us and it was the perfect base to explore the wonderful villages such as Sarlat with its night market and Domme . We went canoeing and swam in the river, visited nearby châteaux and ended our week at a wonderful Bricante taking a few French antiques home… Altogether a fabulous week I only wish we had stayed longer ! We look forward to returning to this very special place with wonderful hosts who were so kind and helpful.
