I liked everything; the location chosen for professional reasons quickly became a second home thanks to the owners, who were very friendly and available, always attentive to our needs and extremely professional. The house is splendid, every detail is carefully arranged.
La villa était absolument magnifique et située dans un endroit calme comme mentionné dans la description (le seul bruit étant les grillons mais c'était apaisant). L'aménagement de la maison en 3 bâtiments séparés a vraiment fonctionné pour notre groupe familial élargi, en plus de différentes zones dans le jardin dans lesquelles vous pouvez vous asseoir qui permettent aux gens d'avoir un moment de calme si nécessaire. Je recommanderais les restaurants du village, mais sachez qu'ils n'ouvrent pas le lundi. Un séjour très agréable et reposant.
Nous avons passés une aagréable semaine entre pote. Le logement correspondait à notre attente. L'hôte était réactif et nous a arrange pour l'heure d'arrivée. Je recommande.
Merci de partager votre belle maison avec nous. Quel honneur de passer du temps dans cette partie du monde si spéciale, un petit coin de paradis entouré de vignes, de tournesols et de lavande. Nous avons bu du vin délicieux et mangé beaucoup trop de fromage. Merci Frédéric d'avoir pris soin de nous et de nous avoir amené quelques ventilateurs pour apaiser la chaleur. Nous avons hâte de revenir un jour bientôt.
Excellent séjour dans un vrai château. Nous avons adoré nos vacances dans ce château ! Nous y sommes restés avec notre grande famille et avons adoré les options pour les enfants à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur. Le propriétaire était très sympathique et nous a accueillis personnellement le premier jour. Il y avait une tyrolienne que les enfants ont adoré ainsi qu'un certain nombre d'autres activités intérieures et extérieures. Je recommande fortement cette expérience à d'autres familles.
From the minute we arrived we were made to feel at home with brilliant accommodation including a lovely pool and Martyn and Jean looked after us giving suggestion of places to visit. The area was brilliant with lots to see and many restaurants within a ten minute drive plus one restaurant, bakers butchers and general store all within walking distance. A special thank you to Ombre for keeping our football skills on song. I would thoroughly recommend.
Nous avons séjourné dans cette villa à Cagnes-sur-Mer et je voulais juste dire que nous avons passé de superbes vacances. La villa était absolument parfaite avec tout ce dont nous pouvions avoir besoin. Elle est idéalement située si vous ne voulez pas louer de voiture car les magasins, les restaurants, les plages et la gare ne sont qu'à 5-10 minutes à pied. Nous recommanderions certainement cette villa.

Cette charmante ferme à la campagne offre beaucoup d'espace pour une famille élargie de 6 adultes et 3 enfants (âgés de 13 et 4 ans) pour y passer une semaine de détente dans cette région tout aussi paisible qu'est la Dordogne. La piscine a été un énorme succès auprès des adultes et des enfants, tandis que les nombreux espaces extérieurs offraient de la place au soleil ou à l'ombre tout au long de la journée. En plus des jeux décrits, il existe de nombreux jouets pour les jeunes enfants, notamment un nouveau bac à sable qui est « apparu » pendant notre séjour. Je recommande.
Quel plaisir de pouvoir se retrouver dans autant d'endroits différents tout au long de la journée ! Quel bonheur de séjourner dans votre magnifique château ! Nous avons pleinement profité de ces vacances de luxe.
Thank you to Pure France for the prompt, polite and easy booking process, to the owners of Manoir Coutenson for allowing us to rent the property and also to David, the property manager who greeted us on arrival and was so helpful. Our family of 15 (aged between 1 - 64) have just enjoyed a fabulous week at this wonderful property. It is the most well equipped place we have ever stayed and all the extra touches (including small children's toys and books) ensured a relaxed and easy break for the whole family. We would unreservedly recommend the Manoir to any family group. Thanks again.
Absolutely gorgeous house. Périgueux and Saint-Émilion were both charming - wonderful food, too. Weather has been idyllic and the swimming pool and loungers were a perfect way to relax. We will greatly miss this house and take with us very happy memories of our holiday here.

Thank you so much for the most incredible week, we have made so many memories. Everything about the house has been perfect, such an easy space to relax in. We had the most lovely week at La Chartreuse de Montfort for a week in the middle of September. The weather was gorgeous and sunny during the day but slightly autumnal in the morning and evening, so we ate breakfast outside but dinner inside around the lovely dining table with a fire in the amazing wood burner to give that cosy feeling to the sitting room. As a group of 10 friends, the house was lovely and spacious with plenty of room for everyone to eat, sit inside or out or enjoy some quiet time in the little study as they wished. The views from the terrace are extraordinary! Ever changing - amazing sunrises with the mist hanging in the valley and then the meandering Dordogne river below. The pool was lovely, warm and easy to access but rather nice that it was situated on the lower terrace so you could have a peaceful swim. The house itself it completely private yet only 10 minutes away from the supermarket and the lovely medieval town of Sarlat. So much to do in the area that you are spoilt for choice - castles, walking, cycling, canoeing, gardens, caves and ancient dwellings, markets - and plenty of excellent places to eat - highly recommend Ô Moulin in Carsac for an extraordinary culinary experience. To be honest, though, the house is so well equipped and comfortable, eating dinner ‘chez-nous’ was our preferred option, washed down with excellent local Bergerac wines! Was the holiday long enough? Certainly not! Would we go again? Absolutely, can’t wait!
Idyllic place. Very peaceful break had by all. Garlin is a lovely village. Great bakery for fresh bread and the essential Ecomarket. All in all, great location - awesome house that's been fitted out to a very high standard throughout and a wonderful, unspoilt part of France that we'd never been to before.
Thank you so much for sharing your brilliant home with us. If the weather was a bit warmer, it would have been perfect.

Beautiful, clean, spacious, easy to live in home from home. It is a very special place to stay.
Perfect stay. A very high quality renovation where stone blends with wood and contemporary furniture. A huge and ideal porch for dinner, barbecue and admire the countryside and hillsides on one side and a pool enchanted in this "Provencal farmhouse" on the other. Very high quality amenities and bedding. The sober and neat decoration with touches of contemporary art ensures a soothing balance and conducive to rest. A spacious cathedral living room with a stunning solid wood table. Here and there, small details in the amenities and decor (a special mention in the toilet of the master suite, I'll let you discover it). In addition, Christophe is very friendly and very attentive to his hosts. In short, this stay in the countryside between two seas delighted us all.

C'est vrai, la villa et la piscine sont bien plus belles en réalité que sur les photos. Nous nous sommes sentis très à l'aise dans votre superbe villa et ce fut un grand plaisir de vous rencontrer. Nous reviendrons certainement. Et si vous vous rendez à Zurich, vous devez venir nous rendre visite.
Une beau point de chute pour nos 2 semaines! L'espace extérieur couvert + la cuisine étaient super. Nous avons passé la majeure partie de notre séjour à observer la faune incroyable! Nous avons vu des cerfs, des lézards, des buses et même pu voir les oisillons nichant au-dessus de la porte des toilettes extérieures quitter le nid! Monflanquin était magnifique ! Cathy + Stéphane étaient adorables + nous avons adoré regarder la voiture 2 CV de Stéphane rouler! Merci.

We loved the setting, location and character of this beautiful house which we feel could tell many interesting stories (... if only walls could speak!). Our boys loved the pool and made great friends with the friendly tortoise. R. favours the name 'Toby' and B. likes 'Edouard'. We enjoyed a fabulous lunch for my birthday at Bistro Maritime and looking forward to dinner at Bistro Pharell for our last evening. Great days out exploring St-Émilion-Libourne. A great trip by train (so easy) to Bordeaux. The bassin de lumière is amazing if you have a wet day. We also loved watching the Mascaret from the house - so glad we were here on the 'right' day.
This beautifully renovated property is a real gem. The house is so warm and welcoming.
Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable au Mas de Rivailles et nous envisagerons absolument d'y retourner. Les photos ne rendent pas justice à la maison et au jardin. La propriété est magnifiquement présentée et très bien équipée. Nous avons apprécié la promenade matinale jusqu'à la boulangerie locale à travers champs. La piscine était très agréable et nos filles adolescentes plus âgées ont apprécié la salle de jeux. Nous donnons à contrecœur un avis car nous ne voulons pas que la propriété soit entièrement réservée pour l'été prochain... Frédéric, le gestionnaire, était très attentif mais pas intrusif avec une communication rapide de haute qualité. Nous donnerions 5 étoiles au Mas de Rivailles.
