We all had an amazing time here this week, this house is gorgeous with an amazing pool, fantastic views. We had amazing times at Les Chapoux taking in the beautiful buildings and all the nice restaurants. The hosts were welcoming and gave us a lovely tour of the house. We spent countless hours by the pool soaking in the sun. Thank you so much for this lovely stay.
Merci pour votre hospitalité. Nous avons apprécié la maison et nos garçons (13 et 11 ans) ont adoré la piscine ! C'était un endroit idéal pour explorer la Dordogne et le Lot en faisant du kayak, de la tyrolienne, des châteaux, des marchés, des villes médiévales, des grottes et des jardins. Monpazier était l'un de nos préférés ! Merci encore.
We had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful home. The kitchen and living area was so spacious and comfortable and the outside space was equally ideal. The pool was delightful and spacious allowing the six of us to enjoy it at the same time. The kitchen had everything we could ask for - literally home from home. The only regret about this holiday was having only one week there as it wasn’t long enough! We most definitely would return.

Nous avons passé de nombreux jours dans la belle piscine et avons également beaucoup aimé explorer les magnifiques environs, y compris Saumur. Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour et serions ravis de revenir.
We would recommend eating at L'Ambrosia in Pezens, La Bergerie at Aragon and the restaurant at Le Château de Pennautier (quite local). Narbonne was a pleasant surprise (including its plage) for a day trip.

Nous sommes retournés à la Maison Charvin, Montlaur pour la deuxième année consécutive. Revenir à la même destination de vacances peut parfois être une erreur, pour des raisons évidentes, mais certainement pas dans ce cas. Tout était exactement comme dans nos souvenirs. :-) La Maison Charvin elle-même était charmante, confortable et spacieuse comme toujours. La maison ainsi que le jardin reposant et la belle piscine nous ont procuré des journées très relaxantes au soleil. La magnifique campagne environnante a permis plusieurs excursions d'une journée agréables à Carcassonne et Lagrasse, pour n'en citer que quelques-unes. Sharon, notre hôte, était comme toujours attentionnée, aimable et extrêmement accueillante. Merci encore de nous avoir permis de visiter votre belle maison pour la deuxième année consécutive - c'était tout aussi agréable que notre première visite.
Merci pour votre hospitalité. Nous avons vraiment apprécié les petits déjeuners, le vin et le fromage. Le repas au Pourquoi Pas était incroyable même si nous avons vécu une aventure pour le trouver ! Beau temps dans la première moitié de la semaine mais dommage que nous ayons eu du vent et de la pluie ces derniers jours. Bon repas à la Pizzeria La Cremade à Béziers Villeneuve - à côté d'une écluse sur le Canal du Midi. Les Neuf Écluses valent également la peine d'être visitées. J'ai apprécié la plage de Sérignan. Had a wonderful week with friends in the magnificent Château Velouse. A lovely place to relax (by the heated swimming pool, in the sumptuous rooms and the very well appointed kitchen - not to mention strolling round the extensive grounds!). Hosts Phil and Claire could not have been more welcoming and have provided copious notes about things to do and places to see. Such was the relaxed atmosphere (and the heat!) we hardly felt the need to leave the château. Our suite was so grand, that it was even hard to leave the bedroom!
Beautiful house, beautiful setting and wonderful location! We’ve had an amazing two weeks here and have loved both days here around the pool and some day trips out - Le Franqui beach, Carcassonne and our boys particularly enjoyed Lac’cro Park and the dinosaur museum at Esperaza. Thanks to Nathalie and Mike for always being on hand to help and answer any questions and for being so welcoming. We don’t want to leave!

Notre séjour aux Marquises a été parfait, la maison avait tout ce que nous puissions rêver, merci. Nous avons adoré la vue sur les vignes, le mobilier, la piscine, le grand figuier pour l'ombre et les figues.
Nous venons de passer la plus merveilleuse des semaines à la Maison des Communes. Philippe a été charmant, très serviable et informatif dès l'accueil et quelle belle surprise de voir une belle sélection de fromages et de vins laissés à notre attention! La villa est extrêmement bien meublée et équipée, c'est un délice de s'y détendre. Elle est très bien située pour explorer la région et faire un saut à l'une des nombreuses belles plages le long de la côte. La disposition des trois logements différents était absolument parfaite pour notre groupe de huit personnes, offrant intimité et détente à chacun, bien que nous ayons passé la plupart du temps autour et dans l'agréable piscine ou assis dehors à regarder la nuit s'installer tout en sirotant des vins locaux. Il y a beaucoup à voir et à découvrir dans la région et la villa était un havre de paix où nous rentrions chaque jour. Quelle superbe semaine: fabuleux petits déjeuners, mobilier élégant et artistique, chaleur et grand soleil de fin août et les meilleures vacances. Merci beaucoup, Philippe!
Nous sommes arrivés et sommes vraiment stupéfaits par la beauté de votre maison. Les photos ne lui rendent vraiment pas justice ! Merci de nous avoir offert une si bonne nourriture et de nous avoir permis de rester dans cet endroit vraiment incroyable. Ce sera difficile de repartir !
We would like to thank you for the wonderful holiday we enjoyed again last year in Navacelles. This house is a heaven on earth. We stayed here twice over the last 3 years (not 3 times only because we were too late to book). Very quiet, wonderful views and still close enough to restaurants and shops. Everything the website promised us was there. The house is superbly decorated and has a wonderful garden and pool. The kids (and the parents) had their highlight of the year again. We won't tell anyone how nice this place is:-). We ll be back soon...
An absolute gem of a house! We came here for a fortnight with a mixture of friends, family and even a cricket team (touring France). And we had the most delightful stay. It really feels like a luxurious home from home, with lovely comfortable furniture, beautiful spacious grounds, a first rate tennis court and pool and a beautiful 'bolet' (veranda) on which to sit and enjoy the local wine… Highly recommended!
We had to wait a long time for our much anticipated return visit to your wonderful villa - and it did not disappoint. We have had the best time, Sophia enjoyed the pool (as we all did). Great place to explore this fabulous area, a boat trip to Saint-Tropez and Port Grimaud plus two beaches. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful home with us. We look forward to coming back for a third time.
Lovely spacious house. We loved staying here! The rooms were lovely and spacious and the bed was big and comfortable :-) The location was really good to. We enjoyed going down to the riverside cafe, kayaking on the river, cycling, sightseeing, eating! We would definitely come back.
Belle demeure. Une jolie demeure avec jardins, exceptionnellement paisible et privée. Belle piscine. Tous les équipements. Saint-Alvère est également un beau village.
THE LOFT! - Undoubtedly the best accommodation we have ever stayed at in France. A great concept realised in every detail. Wonderful hospitality on our arrival and throughout our stay. Your new B&B concept is beyond our imagination and will be utterly unique on completion. “Quelles vacances fantastiques nous avons passées dans la belle maison de Debbie et Rupert! La maison était si belle et confortable et si bien située à côté des vignes. La famille s'est tellement amusée au bord de la piscine et a également réussi à s'aventurer dans les magnifiques villages environnants. Debbie et Rupert étaient si accueillants que nous avons même fini par rester quelques jours de plus ! Nous nous sommes définitivement fait de nouveaux amis formidables et nous avons hâte de revenir !
We stayed in this beautiful house in June of this year Wow what a find ! Situated in the magnificent village of Pezenas the house is only a few minutes walk away from amazing antique shops , Boulangeries, and craft shops. The house itself is perfect throughout with a great outdoor pool and lovely outdoor area for eating and even has separate games room too ! Carcassonne and Montpellier are easily accessible and should be explored! So much to do in the area, we will be back! Would highly recommend.
We had a great time at this big house. It is very well-equipped for a dozen people. The pool is very appreciated, as well as the amenities offered (pétanque, badminton, ping pong...). Shops are accessible by car. The environment is very quiet, overlooking the fields and the forest which makes the house all the more pleasant.
Nous avons passé deux semaines superbes dans votre belle maison. Elle est calme, propre et dispose de tout l'équipement nécessaire. Le grand jardin est agréable avec beaucoup d'ombre. Nous avons adoré aussi le tennis de table. Mais nous avons surtout aimé la piscine, par temps chaud.
Maison Bourg Calès is most definitely a five-star property. It is a beautiful property, both inside and outside, beautifully clean and fully equipped with everything you could possible need for a wonderful holiday. We also really appreciated the extra touches - the bottle of own label wine that awaited us, the basket full of towels for the pool and the store cupboard of kitchen essentials. We loved the saltwater pool. We would happily recommend it to anyone wishing to holiday in the Dordogne and looking for a well-located, high quality property.
So calm and relaxed! We arrived on Saturday at your beautiful, beautiful house and we enjoy it so much. Thank you very much for the lovely card and the excellent bottle of wine. We did enjoy it yesterday in the evening by the pool. It is so calm here and the pool and everything else is so amazing. We never had such a relaxed holiday for years.
