We had a lovely time thank you - we've stayed in many properties in France over the years and I can safely say that Mas Orbiel was the best equipped and most comfortable. It was great being so close to Carcassonne as well. If you will have us again, we would love to return some day!
We have been lucky enough to stay at Château Trieux a number of times and what a truly magical place it is! From the moment you approach the house, through fields of sunflowers, you feel transported into your dream holiday. Whatever your thing is - be it relaxing by the pool, playing tennis or just sitting by the river under the shade of the trees contemplating life - Château Trieux has it all. A visit to the market at Monflanquin is a must or enjoy a relaxing kayak along the river. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. We will be back!
Fantastic holiday - very many thanks. We come to France a lot and this is one of the best places we've stayed in. The weather has been very kind to us all! Restaurant recommendations all very good - we tried as many as we could. Particularly good were La Maison at Tourbes and L'Entre Pots. We need to come back again and try the rest. Many thanks again.
Beautiful renovation with the charm of old stones and the modernity of interior materials. Premium interior equipment. Absolute calm, without proximity to the road. Very comfortable for this property. Christophe available, nice and helpful. It was perfect.
We have absolutely loved our stay in this perfect house. The pool has been a necessity due to temps in mid-high. All in all, it's been a wonderful fortnight and we've enjoyed rediscovering places that we visited here 20 years ago.
Our visit was a combination of stepping back in time and renewing our future selves. The estate is a magical place to explore and I found myself checking out of life's hustle and bustle. A short stroll to the village offered a variety of delicious fare, shopping and amazing photo opportunities!
Nous avons vraiment apprécié nos vacances à Cherry Farmhouse. L'espace barbecue extérieur et la piscine ont été les plus de ces vacances avec une vue fantastique sur la campagne environnante, recouverte de tournesols courbés. La région était tellement paisible. Nos deux filles ont adoré la piscine qui était tout simplement parfaite pour deux jeunes nageuses débutantes. La propriété était bien équipée et les hôtes, Stéphane et Cathy étaient adorables et très attentionnés. Merci pour les belles tomates !! Des vacances parfaites, beaucoup de choses à voir et à faire, que nous espérons revoir et refaire bientôt !
As a group of 7 from age 2 to 62 and having had similar holidays in recent years this has been the best. Wonderfully well equipped with thoughtful advice everywhere. Everybody loved the pool and there are plenty to things to see and do in the area, thanks again.
Belle maison, très bien aménagée avec des lits confortables et une vue imprenable. Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour, la région est magnifique et le village charmant et calme.
Nous avons séjourné du 22 au 29 juillet 2023 dans Les Trois Maisons de Valescure. 4 générations, 19 personnes. Notre séjour a été très agréable, randonnées magnifiques, visites - Cotignac est une petite merveille, comme sur les cartes postales - piscine, tant sur le plan logistique qu'environnement. Équipements parfaits pour la vingtaine que nous étions. Thomas a contribué à la réussite de notre séjour grâce à so attention et sa réactivité efficace, excellente communication.
A fantastic place to be, hosts are very friendly and helpful. The gîtes are beautiful decorated and the view is stunning. We had a great time and I would not hesitate to book this beautiful domaine for a holiday again. I wrote a comment in the guestbook to encourage other people to spend their vacation at L'Oliveraie.
Nous avons passé ici un moment paisible et fabuleux. Une maison et un endroit tellement charmants. Notre enfant de 4 ans n'arrête pas de nous dire qu'il aime vraiment cette maison et qu'il veut y rester pour toujours. Les deux garçons se sont vraiment bien amusés et ont adoré la piscine. Les voisins de l'autre côté de la route étaient très gentils et nous ont donné quelques-uns de leurs légumes cultivés sur place. Notre fils a adoré les carottes et s'est réveillé en les demandant pour le petit-déjeuner. Triste de partir mais nous espèrons revenir bientôt. Merci beaucoup.

A fantastically relaxing 2 weeks. The house and pool are perfect and Hugh and Ian couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. We've already booked for next year and can't wait to get back here.
Quel endroit fantastique vous avez créé ici dans la belle ville de L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. Merci beaucoup pour ce merveilleux séjour dans votre belle maison. Notre famille a passé des moments merveilleux dans cette petite oasis. La seule partie difficile de notre séjour a été de nous forcer à quitter ce sanctuaire qu'est la maison ! Nous sommes sûrs que nous reviendrons et que nous créerons une vague de tourisme venant de l'Australie occidentale lointaine - les envoyant tous séjourner chez vous. (Ils se sentiront sûrement chez eux). Merci.
The place is lovely and very well furnished. As someone else said in your guest book, your house offers almost everything we were hoping for in our holiday in France. A large, well-appointees home with fantastic views and a cool fairly deep pool, proximity to a nice town where supplies are aplenty; vineyards in the surroundings and even a couple of michelin-starred restaurants nearby.
C'est vraiment une propriété merveilleuse avec des hôtes sympathiques et accueillants : c'était encore mieux en vrai que sur les photos. La maison ne manque de rien, ni en charme ni en qualité de finition intérieure et tout était prévu pour rendre notre séjour aussi confortable qu'on pourrait l'espérer. C'était une véritable « maison loin de chez soi » avec plusieurs petites attentions qui ont fait toute la différence (savon frais dans la salle de bain, dosettes de café et eau en bouteille si nous le voulions dans la cuisine pour n'en citer que quelques-unes). Tout cela, combiné à un emplacement fantastiquement pittoresque et paisible, fait que nous ne pouvons que recommander cette propriété et que nous reviendrons très certainement la prochaine fois que nous visiterons la région Languedoc en Occitanie !
Merci pour ce beau séjour. La maison est très confortable et constitue une base idéale pour explorer la région. Les moments forts ont été Dinan, Le Mont-Saint-Michel et Faugères. Nous avons aussi aimé conduire à travers la campagne. La boulangerie de Bazouges-la-Pérouse était fantastique ! Nous avons adoré le panier de bienvenue - c'était un cadeau tellement attentionné et utile. Merci pour ce merveilleux séjour!

The villa is located alone in the middle of the vineyards. Here you can enjoy the tranquillity. Nothing is missing here. For us it was a super wonderful stay.
We stayed in Jean and Martin’s beautiful Gite over the recent May Bank Holiday and we were absolutely delighted with our stay in every way we could possibly be! The Gite itself is immaculately appointed; it is beautifully in character and so generously equipped with all one needs for a seamless and relaxing stay. The kitchen boasts a washing machine and dishwasher - really useful for a longer stay . Great outside area with a bbq and an extra outside kitchen area, sink and 2nd fridge. The outside dining terrace is so comfortable and looks out on a beautifully maintained garden area with pool , sun chairs and gazebo - so comfy and relaxing. The bathroom is a very good size with both bath and shower. Upstairs are two generously sized bedrooms - one double and then a twin room.. Although my husband and I travelled with friends on this occasion, it was very apparent that the Gite is beautifully family friendly ; a cot and high chairs are also provided . The surrounding area is stunning - a few minutes walk to the local shops and cafes. Not far at all by car from many local beautiful areas and restaurants. Jean and Martin are perfect hosts - we honestly couldn’t ask for more and we will definitely be returning.
Our stay was as much about the garden as the stunning house, the electronic gate at the entrance worked a treat each time we used it. Three of us each had a bedroom and all the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen and lounge were fully equipped so we wanted for nothing. We linked our laptop in to the CD via a two-to-one 3.5mm jack lead which we take everywhere, so were able to listen to our collection of music through quite a reasonable hi-fi system. The large TV, although not HD, was great for any English programmes you just couldn't miss, even on holiday! We made the ten minute scenic drive up to the boulangerie at Bertric-Buree for our baguettes, croissants and pain-a-raisins most days as there are no shops in Lusignac, just a bar restaurant. The croissants were enjoyed sitting outside the kitchen / living room area on the middle floor, which has a stunning view. For our first week, the temperatures were in the mid-thirties so it was lovely to cool off in the pool. With the pool being quite long, you could actually swim, rather than just splash about which was great to keep a little bit of fitness going. Now the garden. As having a very keen interest in natural history, especially butterflies, we contacted the owner and asked if he could leave the grass uncut, so that any wild flowers would be there to attract butterflies for our photography. He duly obliged. This resulted in a count of thirty one species of butterfly just in the garden, with another five spotted whilst out on our travels. Non-British species included Scarce Swallowtail, Swallowtail, Pearly Heath, Mallow Skipper, Map and the star of the show, Large Blue, which were extinct in Britain until being reintroduced recently. The grass areas provided a fantastic environment for butterflies and other insects. This little area truly is a spectacular insect haven. This is without the lavender hedge which runs down one side of the entire drive. No red squirrels, but we watched birds of prey circling as the farmer cut the field in the valley and amongst other species of birds, there were a pair of Golden Orioles which flew by regularly. If you are looking for a modern house in an attractive location with lovely pool, lovely view and ridiculous number of butterflies, this is it!
Perfect stay. A very high quality renovation where stone blends with wood and contemporary furniture. A huge and ideal porch for dinner, barbecue and admire the countryside and hillsides on one side and a pool enchanted in this "Provencal farmhouse" on the other. Very high quality amenities and bedding. The sober and neat decoration with touches of contemporary art ensures a soothing balance and conducive to rest. A spacious cathedral living room with a stunning solid wood table. Here and there, small details in the amenities and decor (a special mention in the toilet of the master suite, I'll let you discover it). In addition, Christophe is very friendly and very attentive to his hosts. In short, this stay in the countryside between two seas delighted us all.
Quelles vacances incroyables ! Le Pigat était magnifique et très bien équipé avec des petites attentions particulières, ce qui a rendu notre séjour spécial. La livraison de pain était un délice absolu. Beaucoup de souvenirs précieux au bord de la piscine et nous avons même trouvé la grotte ! Visites également à Bergerac, Périgueux, Monbazillac, Mouleydier, Issigeac, Sarlat-la-Canéda, Domme, Château de Bridoire, Saint-Émilion et Brantôme. Sans oublier Eymet et Trémolat. Tous de beaux endroits qui méritent une visite. De nombreux restaurants en particulier aussi. Certains rustiques, certains gastronomiques. Cela va nous manquer d'être au chaud, au bord de la piscine et dans un cadre magnifique. Merci beaucoup.
THE LOFT! - Undoubtedly the best accommodation we have ever stayed at in France. A great concept realised in every detail. Wonderful hospitality on our arrival and throughout our stay. Your new B&B concept is beyond our imagination and will be utterly unique on completion. Notre semaine à la villa a été tout simplement magique ! Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été frappés par la tranquillité des environs. La villa elle-même est magnifiquement entretenue. Il a fait très venteux pendant notre séjour et Philippe est venu chaque matin nettoyer la piscine ! Nous avons passé des heures dans la piscine – elle est tout simplement magnifique ! Chaque jour a apporté une nouvelle aventure – la visite de dégustation de vin à La Cave était vraiment intéressante (même si nous avons fini par dépenser une petite fortune !). Philippe a été l’hôte parfait – tellement aimable. Les viennoiseries livrées deux fois par semaine étaient délicieuses et un immense merci à Philippe pour les gâteaux d’anniversaire des 60 ans de mon mari le vendredi ! Le repas offert par Philippe à La Tour était tout simplement incroyable – à tel point que nous avons décidé d’y retourner pour les célébrations d’anniversaire. Ce séjour a été du genre à vous ressourcer à tous les niveaux. Nous repartons détendus, inspirés et déjà en train de planifier notre retour ! Nous recommandons vivement à quiconque recherche une escapade française sereine associée à une hospitalité sincère et attentionnée ! Merci infiniment Philippe – nous sommes tellement tristes de partir mais nous repartons avec de merveilleux souvenirs !
