Ma femme et moi avons passé nos deux semaines de vacances au Petit Pigeonnier du Lot avec nos quatre adolescents. C'est vrai ce que les autres critiques ont mentionné - les photos ne lui rendent pas justice - le logement est immense et le salon est tout simplement magnifique. L'emplacement est parfait, complètement silencieux et paisible, mais pas trop loin de la boulangerie, des activités et des villes locales. Debbie et Rupert étaient si accueillants, nous nous sommes immédiatement sentis chez nous. Il n'y avait pas de problème trop pu important pour eux, et Debbie nous a aidés à réserver des activités locales et des dîners. C'était la pause dont nous avions besoin depuis si longtemps, merci beaucoup.
Wanted to say a massive thank you for letting us stay at your incredible house. How lucky you are to have that place - from the family photos, it looks like you have a lot of great memories from years gone by. We had a very relaxing time hanging out with our family at the house and thoroughly enjoyed pottering around the French countryside. It was just what the doctor ordered! Patrick and Jayne were also very helpful throughout our stay so please do thank them for their amazing hospitality
A wonderful return visit to Villa Kali and this beautiful area of France. Weather has been great all week with plenty of sunshine, with the pool providing much needed relief. Enjoyed visits to Saint-Guilhem-le-Desert and Montpellier, as well as several trips to Pèzenas, particularly the ice cream shops! Enjoyed meals at Les Palmiers (quite expensive) and Chef Brasserie Chez Hansi (good value). Saturday market in Pèzenas worth a visit and Serignan Plage probably the best beach. The patisserie / boulangerie opposite Carrefour does great bread, croissants and gateaux. Look forward to a return visit in the future. Thanks for a great holiday! 5 / 5.
Magnifique décor, calme sans être loin du centre de Meursault à pied . Pénélope et John font le maximum pour que tout soit parfait et sont très sympas. A refaire certainement.
The house was spacious and very comfortable. The attention to detail made it feel like a five-star experience and well had a most fantastic and restful nights sleep.

La maison est ravissante, la piscine magnifique et les jolis jardins sont totalement sécurisés pour notre chien qui sommeille actuellement sous le vieil olivier ! Philippe est charmant et totalement respectueux de notre besoin d'intimité. La maison a dépassé nos attentes et vous avez parfaitement rempli notre mission. En fait, nous envisageons encore 2 semaines ici l'année prochaine.

Perfect for large families Amazing property, well equipped for large groups and space for all to spend time together or escape each other! Great pool and pool area. Great having so many bedrooms and bathrooms when holidaying with extended family and lots of kids! Wonderful manager on hand to answer any questions and offer recommendations. Will definitely return!
La maison de Marie-Christine est idéale pour une famille, elle est décorée avec beaucoup de goût, moderne et aérée. Elle dispose de toute les commodités et sa localisation est idéale (supermarché, boulangeries, centre commercial, centre ville, gare, etc) Marie est une personne charmante. Elle nous a donné des conseils et nous a réservé un bon accueil. Je recommande fortement sa maison qui est entièrement rénovée. Our second stay here in the Cottage and it does not disappoint. The pool is just bliss. It has been very hot. We kept the shutters closed to keep the house cold. It worked. We noticed a distinct absence of mosquitoes this year too. This area has so much to offer we filled two weeks with amazing adventures. Thanks to previous guests, we found Fanlac, a truly beautiful village not far from here. Plazac too with its medicinal garden. On our final day we discovered Coly-St-Amand, an incredible little village with the most amazing fortified church. In this village, there is a lovely vegetarian café. The food is delicious and homemade: "Café Rapiette". As fo the bigger days out we once again were won over by the beautiful Jardins of Eyrignac. If you love gardens, this is one of the best in the world. the same can be said for jardins de Marqueyssac, which are well worth visiting. This time around, we visited Beynac. The château is our favourite. The views are quite incredible and you can see Richard The Lionheart's bedroom. Oh, quite a thing. In the village, is a superb restaurant, "La Petite Tonnelle". again, a superb vegetarian menu alongside the usual dishes, duck and foie gras. Nothing, on the château front can match Château de Losse in the village, it is absolutely breathtaking. Our second visit was just as amazing as our first. What a position it occupies. On this trip we also visited La-Roque-Saint-Christophe and Château de Hautefort, well worth returning to both as they are fascinating and there is always something new to learn. Our most interesting an remarkable find was "Cabanes du Breuil" don't miss it! This will leave you amazed! As for eating, we had superb food virtually everywhere. With no hesitation the very best place to eat is the Relais de Montignac in the forum. The presentation of the food is Masterchef level, but the price for three courses is less than a main course in the UK. It is excellent. As for markets, Montignac on a Wednesday is fun. Terrasson is also good, definitely bigger but after it you can go up to the Jardins de l'Imagination and they are fabulous. the Town is lovely. Make sure you walk along the older parts. Enjoy the cottage, enjoy the love, enjoy the town, enjoy the region. It's all amazing.

Nous partons après deux semaines incroyables au Malardier, une maison pleine de caractère et tellement spacieuse. Merci Gay et Richard. Nos amis américains ont exploré la région mais nous les Britanniques qui ne voient pas autant le soleil qu'eux étaient plus qu'heureux de se prélasser près de la piscine. Il y avait tout ce qu'on pouvait souhaiter dans la maison et les enfants étaient ravis des jouets dans le grenier ! C'est une belle partie de la France, les vues sont spectaculaires. Nous avons trouvé de bons restaurants et apprécié la culture locale. Au revoir.

It is early spring. My husband and I decide to go to the South of France for a fortnight. Our eye has fallen on La Picholine. It is in the Gard region and close to nice places. Like Uzès, Nîmes, Avignon. What a surprising place on arrival. Two enthusiastic owners, proudly showing off their new domaine. There are two gîtes. A large swimming pool, several terraces and expansive views. Our gîte is very comfortable. Spacious living room with dining kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped. Bedroom is very spacious with good mattresses. Large bathroom with two sinks. As it can be quite chilly in the evening in spring, this cottage has a wood-burning stove with hot air conditioning. It is comfortably warm then. The garden is tastefully decorated. You have your own privacy and that choice is nice. We had a lovely two weeks here and will definitely come back next year. Thank you Esther and Leo for your hospitality.
Thank you for letting us stay once again. I wish I could stay longer! I love playing in the garden - it makes me feel really happy because it has lots of space to play in. Sam has really enjoyed roaming around and playing with Mack and Mabel - I have too. Hopefully to see you soon in October and definitely next summer.

It's been such a privilege to stay in your beautiful home. Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to enjoy it. We enjoyed experiencing the art, the atmosphere, the views and the comfort. We really appreciated your very generous gift of wine and provisions. The village is lively and we have made good use of all it has to offer. terrific choice of the alimentation, delightful terrace and delicious food at the Bar de Prores and a timely haivent at Tiffany's Satin. We recommend a trip to Uzes, Nîmes and Avignon and had a delicious lunch on the banks of the Gardon at Colias on the way to the Pont du Gard. Also, do try the real wine from La Grappe d'Or in the village.
It seems but a moment since we arrived two weeks ago, but we have had a lovely time. Thank you for your hospitality and wonderful company. What a pity we couldn’t come in June, but we are optimistic about next year. It feels much safer here in France than it does in England - we saw much more of Rieux than we have before, and have had some splendid meals. Our favourite is definitely l’Abbaye de Fontfroide, though Relais de Chantovent comes a close second. Until next June.

Our visit was a combination of stepping back in time and renewing our future selves. The estate is a magical place to explore and I found myself checking out of life's hustle and bustle. A short stroll to the village offered a variety of delicious fare, shopping and amazing photo opportunities!
Lovely property and surrounding grounds. We enjoyed the pool enormously with everything you provide and also the countryside here.
Une demeure fantastique à la frontière de la Dordogne et du Bordelais. La maison et le jardin étaient magnifiques. C'est une "demeure" plutôt qu'une location et nous avons adoré ça. Il y a tout ce dont vous avez besoin et une agréable sensation de chaleur. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour de 4 semaines ici. Les gérants de la maison étaient fantastiques et nous étions très tristes de nous dire au revoir. Ils nous ont donné plein de bons conseils sur les endroits à découvrir. Le lac Jemaye, la fête gastronomique du Pizou, les marchés locaux, le canoë près de Montpon, le magasin de la ferme locale qui vendait du lait directement de la laiterie, etc. Ce qui nous a marqué a été la dégustation de vins autour de Pomerol et de Saint-Émilion - nous avons fini par faire trois journées de dégustation de vins ! St Emillion est vraiment l'un des plus beaux villages que vous puissiez espérer visiter. C'est le point zéro du vin et il est chargé d'histoire. Le château nous manque terriblement. J'espère qu'un jour nous reviendrons.
Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique ici. C'est un endroit magnifique et reposant. C'est l'endroit idéal pour un grand groupe et nous en avons profité au maximum ! C'est un privilège d'avoir pu venir.
Nous tenons à vous dire combien nous avons apprécié La Cigalière. La maison et la piscine étaient agréables. Charlotte a été très serviable et tout était parfait pour nos vacances. Nous venons en France depuis près de 20 ans et nous reviendrons sans hésiter dans cette villa. Merci pour ces belles vacances.
We were delighted to have been the first renters in this beautiful home. It looks like something out of a travel brochure ! Lovely peaceful setting, we enjoyed just relaxing in the garden and lazing by the pool. Great kitchen and the house is lovely and characterful. Thankful for the air-con in the bedroom on a couple of nights. Puy l'Eveque is a really nice town with everything you need on holiday. A great last-minute find, we're sure all future guests will love it here as much as we did.
Notre famille de 4 personnes (2 adultes, 2 enfants) a passé un moment fabuleux à explorer Sarlat et la Dordogne depuis cette base formidable. La maison est parfaitement située et la piscine est une aubaine après une journée complète de visites. Je recommanderais vivement cette propriété, mais il nous sera alors plus difficile de réserver à nouveau.
THE LOFT! - Undoubtedly the best accommodation we have ever stayed at in France. A great concept realised in every detail. Wonderful hospitality on our arrival and throughout our stay. Your new B&B concept is beyond our imagination and will be utterly unique on completion.
