We had a very relaxing stay at Colombat Cottage. Lots of walking and floating in your lovely pool.
Beautiful château and very well maintained grounds which are well equipped to prevent children from being bored. The kids absolutely loved the pool and having the shaded area was brilliant for everyone. Everything you could need for a fortnightwith the family - our party included toddlers, a newborn baby and grandparents. the daily housekeeping service was much appreciated. Would definitely recommend a catered evening (we chose Indian food). Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home. We hope to be back.
Would like to keep this place a secret. We had such an amazing stay, there was plenty of room inside and out. We knew the area quite well and there are plenty of activities for the kids and adults within 20 minutes drive. The accommodation is beautiful, clean and simply stunning! The children loved the spaces inside and out there was lots of areas to play and explore. Our hosts couldn’t have been nicer extremely helpful without too much intrusion. I’m not sure I want to leave such a good review as would like to keep this place a secret as we hope to book again. Thanks again Katie for a wonderful stay!
Nous étions une famille de sept adultes et avons passé une semaine merveilleuse à Challignac. Mark et Gary sont vraiment des hôtes exceptionnels. Le gîte était magnifiquement présenté et d'une propreté impeccable. Tout le nécessaire avait été soigneusement mis à disposition, y compris un savon liquide de luxe: inutile donc d'apporter le vôtre. La cuisine était exceptionnellement bien équipée, avec tous les ustensiles et appareils électroménagers nécessaires. Et si quelque chose manquait, Mark et Gary se sont fait un plaisir de le fournir ! À notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec un généreux choix de fromages, charcuteries, pains, en-cas, vins, bières, boissons sans alcool, thé et café ; un accueil parfait qui nous a évité de courir faire les courses. L'espace piscine était tout simplement divin : une superbe piscine chauffée entourée de nombreux sièges extérieurs et d'une superbe cuisine extérieure. Tout était réuni pour se détendre et profiter. Même si la météo n'était pas toujours de notre côté, nous en avons profité pour explorer les villages et les grandes villes des environs. Nous avons dégusté de délicieux repas dans les restaurants recommandés par nos hôtes. Dans l'ensemble, tout le monde s'est bien amusé et nous reviendrons sans hésiter. Un grand merci à Mark et Gary !
Had a great fortnight in Les Sphynx de Pézenas. Everything you want really. Recommend Chez Paul, Les Entre Pots and Ou es tu Ginger (veggie food) in the local area to eat. Marina Bay at Marseillan Plage - great food and lovely views. All in all a great location and house.
Our fourth year running and just as lovely as ever. A delightful house - elegantly yet comfortably furnished - tucked away in complete privacy and quiet, yet close to the lovely hilltop village of Gordes. A blissful spot in which to do nothing or lots - just as you will. We can't wait to go back.
Le lit nous a offert le meilleur sommeil de notre vie. Nous voulions juste vous écrire et vous remercier tous les deux d'avoir partagé votre belle maison à Saint Paul de Vence. Notre semaine a été magique et l'appartement avec piscine était parfait pour s'y détendre et se relaxer. Le lit nous a offert le meilleur sommeil de notre vie (nous avons même décidé d'acheter lemême !). Nous réserverons l'année prochaine, mais nous voulions vous faire savoir à quel point nous avons apprécié notre séjour.

Tres belle maison, parfaite pour un grand groupe de personnes comme le notre (10+, plusieurs familles). Tout est là pour les enfants! Hôtes tres accueillants qui ont répondu immédiatement lorsqu'il y avait une demande. En bordure d'un beau petit village, la majorité des choses à faire sont à environ 30-45 minutes de la maison. Nous avons eu un très beau séjour
Another lovely holiday at the Loft du Vigneron, this time for 2 weeks. It was lovely to see Karen and Russell again. They were charming and hospitable just like before Everything was perfect for us and the weather was amazing, swam every day in the beautiful pool. Karen booked some restaurants for us, recommended by her, and they were excellent. Highly recommend this property, the best ever.

Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine à la Maison des Communes. Nous avons été très bien accueillis et nos hôtes ont tout fait pour nous aider. Frederica m'a même conduit au supermarché à notre arrivée car notre voiture n'était prête que le lendemain. La villa est magnifique, très propre et exceptionnellement bien équipée. Les chambres du jardin sont fabuleuses avec une bonne climatisation et l'eau chaude était abondante. Maureilhan lui-même n'a pas grand-chose à offrir mais nous nous sommes retrouvés très heureux dans la villa. Il y a beaucoup d'espaces extérieurs et intérieurs pour se détendre et nous avons utilisé la piscine plusieurs heures par jour. Nous avons également fait bon usage des vélos, en faisant du vélo dans les villages voisins, les vignobles et le long du canal. La Maison des Communes était une magnifique villa familiale et nous reviendrions très certainement si nous revenions dans la région. Je la recommande fortement.
Had a wonderful week with friends in the magnificent Château Velouse. A lovely place to relax (by the heated swimming pool, in the sumptuous rooms and the very well appointed kitchen - not to mention strolling round the extensive grounds!). Hosts Phil and Claire could not have been more welcoming and have provided copious notes about things to do and places to see. Such was the relaxed atmosphere (and the heat!) we hardly felt the need to leave the château. Our suite was so grand, that it was even hard to leave the bedroom!
Thank you for a very comfortable stay. We will miss the peace and quiet.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cet endroit très calme et verdoyant. Une maison très agréable et confortable, à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur. Terrasse, piscine, transats... C'était super ! À proximité de Pézenas (magnifique), de l'Abbaye de Valmagne (magnifique) et des marchés locaux... La propriétaire est adorable et très discrète.
Time seems to pass so quickly when staying in this lovely house in such a lovely place. We have enjoyed a glorious week with many happy hours in and around the pool with our children and grandchildren. And, we have enjoyed exploring – once again – this beautiful part of France. With many thanks to Linda and the other members of the Jouas team for their help with everything. A perfect week!
This villa was the perfect place for a two family holiday. The pool was very cool and refreshing after a hot day of sight-seeing / shopping! The whole two week trip was plenty relaxing and a lot of fun! This house is gorgeous. We will not forget this trip! P.S. a great pizza place down the road!
Le Garden Cottage est exactement comme décrit. Il déborde de charme, de caractère et de bon goût. Il était d'une propreté impeccable. La grande piscine et le patio sont magnifiques, intimes et bien entretenus. Le cottage est très bien situé, à quelques minutes à pied ou en voiture du village de Thonac. Vous y trouverez une bonne pizzeria/bar, un hôtel avec jardin et restaurant intérieur, ainsi qu'une supérette. Deux grands supermarchés, une pharmacie et une station-service sont à seulement cinq minutes en voiture, à Montignac. C'est une charmante petite ville à visiter, où l'on peut acheter des billets pour Lascaux. Le cottage est idéalement situé pour visiter les nombreux sites touristiques de la région et les propriétaires ont fourni une brochure d'information sur les marchés locaux, les événements et les lieux à visiter. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour de quatre semaines et avons trouvé les propriétaires discrets, charmants et serviables. Nous recommandons sans hésiter cette propriété aux couples qui recherchent des vacances reposantes et confortables.
Wow, what a great place! During our stay there was nothing else we could have wished for. The awesome pool area, the great BBQ, the comfortable (sun)beds and beautiful bathrooms; everything was top notch. Enjoying the local wines, the pretty surroundings and fantastic golf course with our friends made this stay like it should be... Holiday! We hope to come back!
We would recommend eating at L'Ambrosia in Pezens, La Bergerie at Aragon and the restaurant at Le Château de Pennautier (quite local). Narbonne was a pleasant surprise (including its plage) for a day trip.
Nous avons passé des très bons moments dans un appartement constitué de matériaux nobles, bien agencé,, décoré avec raffinement, goût, confortable et spacieux. Profiter des paysages des environs à pieds et à vélos.
Un grand merci d'avoir rendu notre séjour si agréable. Charmante maison, pleine d'espace et d'activités pour satisfaire les voyageurs de tous âges. Nous avons également adoré les pistes cyclables, la visite de Saint-Sébastien et Biarritz, ainsi que la plage. Agréable de montrer au bébé les chevaux, et de cueillir des framboises et des figues fraîches dans les arbres et les buissons. Excellent espace pour le chien aussi. Michel le chef a été agréable et arrangeant, nous permettant de découvrir la cuisine locale. Mais nous reviendrons !
Une charmante maison dans un endroit fantastique. Merci pour ce séjour fabuleux dans cette magnifique région de France. Le paysage environnant était spectaculaire : des vues inoubliables depuis la maison et la terrasse de la piscine. Tout était parfait dans la maison et la superbe piscine. Les commerces et restaurants à proximité étaient excellents. Quelle trouvaille !
Beautiful holiday destination, especially nice garden, optimal exposure. With young children there are many activities surrounding and great moments of fun by the pool. Everything needed for children. Quiet and peaceful setting with amazing views. Tastefully decorated and fully equipped. Highly recommended!
Just a little note to say thank you so much for our lovely, restful, peaceful stay in your beautiful Loft. We're sure you saw we were well and truly exhausted after a summer running events - the Loft was THE PERFECT ANTIDOTE! All the little touches were noted and appreciated by us both and we spent a lovely evening enjoying many aperitifs with you. Many, many heartfelt thanks again. It certainly isn't Au Revoir - but A Bientot!
Great stay in your wonderful home. Enjoyed exploring the area including Nerac and its chateau museum. Good lunch at Le Vert Gentil next to the river in Nerac. Loved the lily gardens at Temple Sur Lot and managed to get a table for lunch without booking. Beautiful setting and pretty good food too! Night market here (last of the season) was great fun and amazing setting overlooking the lot valley. Janet and Mark you’ve been great hosts and really helpful. Thank you.
Nous n avons malheureusement pas pu rencontrer Eva mais nous avons été accueilli par Harold qui est une personne très solaire. la maison est très jolie et très agréable. Les chambres et la salle de vie sont tres spacieuses. Le coin terrasse avec sa plancha, la piscine avec sa petite plage et les transats pour bien se relaxer sont très appréciables.
What a wonderful Loft! We love all the furniture; so lovely to have 'proper furnishings' and not sofas with throws! We loved all the 'Maisons du Monde' additions and the kitchen is great to cook in. Wonderful attention to detail, so that you really feel 'at home'. The terrace is fabulous; we loved sitting out there first thing in the morning. Thanks also for all the recommendations for the specialist wine tours - our wine trip was first rate. Your hospitality and company was excellent and we loved the trip to see 'Le Jardin Champetre' nursery - thank you. Also, the pool is so clear and wonderful to swim in.
