Our stay at La Petite Maison Générille was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, the hosts welcomed us with warmth and genuine hospitality, making us feel instantly at home. The property itself is breathtaking - a perfect balance of elegance and nature. The beautifully maintained gardens, softly illuminated in the evenings, create a romantic and serene atmosphere, while the untouched woodland adds a sense of tranquility and adventure. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, from the luxurious accommodations to the stunning swimming pool overlooking the picturesque landscape. Whether we were exploring the nearby historic villages, indulging in the region’s incredible food and wine, or simply relaxing on the terrace, every moment felt special. La Petite Maison Générille is more than just a place to stay - it's an experience, one that lingers long after you leave. We can't wait to return!
Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cet endroit très calme et verdoyant. Une maison très agréable et confortable, à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur. Terrasse, piscine, transats... C'était super ! À proximité de Pézenas (magnifique), de l'Abbaye de Valmagne (magnifique) et des marchés locaux... La propriétaire est adorable et très discrète.
Très bon séjour! Nous étions 8: tout s'est très bien passé. La maison est agréable et conforme à la description: les 4 salles d'eau sont appréciables!
C'est notre dernière nuit aux Jumelles et nous sommes tous tristes de quitter votre magnifique maison et jardin. Nous n'avons que de bons souvenirs de notre séjour et vous nous avez fait nous sentir extrêmement détendus au cours des deux dernières semaines. Le temps a été parfait et nous a permis beaucoup d'amusement dans la piscine et de profiter de votre fantastique jardin.
What a wonderful stay we have had and what a special part of France! Olonzac market on a Tuesday was a real highlight. Kayaking at Puicheric was so much fun and the water was crystal clear for swimming. Narbonne and the market was quite a spectacle - such a fun and varied trip. Thank you for all the tips and for lending us your beautiful Loft.
We spent 5 days in September in Château Entre-Deux-Mers, we were 4 couples of friends. It is an exceptional castle very well located with all modern luxury. The building, garden and pool are fascinating and the interior has been recently decorated with design furniture by a very talented architect offering a modern and luxurious experience. A superior place for demanding guests. We recommend to use the available local catering options (dinners and breakfast) who cook excellent meals with respect of local ingredients and recipes. Plenty of wine châteaux to visit in the surroundings and the city of Bordeaux is worth discovering for a guided tour, dinner or cultural activity. We will definitely come back!
We were four related families of eight adults and 8 children aged 3-7. The palatial exterior of the Chateau belies the comfort and homeliness of its interior which boasts some of the most comfortable beds we have slept in. The shuttered windows and the judicious repositioning of a vase or two made it easy to child-proof the rooms. The magnificent parkland of trees, lawns and flower-beds offers a short-walk to a fully enclosed and secure open-air swimming pool, which was a particular highlight. The views across the surrounding countryside are simply stunning. We particularly valued the extensive space, the quiet and the privacy. Gaelle was extremely helpful in dealing with any queries and we are grateful to her and her family for sharing their home with a large group of complete strangers. Fiona
Merci pour ces merveilleuses vacances à séjourner dans votre belle villa. Nous avons adoré la piscine et le jardin, la vue est magnifique et nous avons beaucoup apprécié prendre notre café le matin et boire du vin, assis aux différents endroits si parfaitement disséminés dans le jardin. Nous avons apprécié le marché du lundi matin à Duras et le marché nocturne de Monségur le mercredi soir. Merci à Frédéric pour son accueil chaleureux. Ce fut une semaine vraiment relaxante et agréable.
As you know we have stayed in your house twice. It really is an exceptional property and in terms of facilities, location and aesthetic qualities we could not fault it. The views are fantastic, the pool is perfect and the house itself brimming with character – not to mention that every lamp works, as do the showers and all utensils.

C'est une très belle villa dans un endroit merveilleux. Les touches personnelles et l'approche des propriétaires en font un endroit très spécial et nous reviendrons à l'avenir. Une villa très spéciale que nous adorons. Toute l'expérience est également grandement facilitée par Frédéric et la façon dont il gère la propriété et interagit avec les vacanciers. Cela fait une grande différence.
We all liked this house because of the pool and the bedrooms and especially the BIG BIG garden. We love that there is a pool table. The kids and adults love jumping in the pool. Hope we get to come here again. We all didn't want to leave.
Nous nous sommes sentis très à l'aise ici dans cette maison avec ce beau jardin et la piscine. Calme, repos et détente. Que demander de plus ? Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l'attention et la disponibilité des gens à Bessan et Agde car nous avions besoin d'aide pour notre petite Leah. We were so impressed with the quality of this home with a high contemporary finish in every room. The kitchen and lounge dinner opens onto an exquisite terrace with far reaching views and ideal for outdoor dinning . Loved the pool area with private patio. This is in the centre of a charming village with all amenities. The unspoilt coastline is stunning and to think it's under an hour from the airport. We would strongly recommend this home and we can't wait to return. Did we forget to mention it's also exceptional value for money.

Nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances à Bessan et dans votre splendide maison. Nous sommes allés au marché local de Bessan. Pézenas est superbe, nous avons goûté du vin au Domaine Pal Mas et des crêpes à La Riposte à Agde - les deux valent le détour. Les enfants auraient profité de la piscine jusqu'à minuit si seulement nous les avions autorisés. Nous sommes très tristes de partir et serions heureux de revenir.
Tout est fabuleux! La maison est encore plus incroyable cette année!
We had an amazing stay! The beds were very comfortable and the pool is incredible! Lunch time on the terrace was a highlight as it's so peaceful. Overall the stay was absolutely incredible and we loved every minute we were here.
La Maison Lanave est une charmante ferme gasconne bien rénovée, nichée au cœur des vignes et offrant une vue spectaculaire. Les photos et les descriptions sont fidèles à la réalité : c'est un lieu vraiment exceptionnel. Les hôtes sont proactifs et sympathiques, présents sur place sans être intrusifs. Ils sont très disponibles pour répondre à nos demandes et nous fournir de nombreuses informations locales utiles. La région est rurale et offre beaucoup de choses à voir et à faire. Nous recommandons vivement d'y séjourner.
We had a fabulous holiday in Villa Pey de la Salle. The villa was lovely and so was the weather!
Belle maison avec grand jardin et piscine chauffée. Un endroit très spécial. La maison est spacieuse et l'agencement offre de nombreux espaces pour se détendre. Le jardin et la piscine sont magnifiques. Avec vue sur la forêt, il y a de nombreux coins salon et bains de soleil, un hamac et des jeux pour jouer dans l'immense espace gazonné. Et la piscine est parfaite. Sam est une super hôte, ravie d'aider, elle est gentille et drôle. Si vous aimez le yoga, vous avez la possibilité d'avoir une séance avec Sam dans son magnifique studio de yoga. Nous avons passé un très bon moment. Merci !
This is my second visit to the beautiful ‘Rusty Shears gite’ hosted by Kirstie and Russell. From the outset our stay was just perfect. We were made very welcome and even had welcome drinks upon arrival. This was a special visit for my mums birthday and Kirstie even baked a cake, which was absolutely delicious. The gite is immaculately presented and the interior is simply gorgeous, with sumptuous cushions, uniquely bespoke painted furniture and house plants that compliment the gite’s luxurious eclectic style. The outside space is perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine and listening to the nature that surrounds the outside space. They have thought of everything; an outside eating area, complete with overhead sails to stay in the shade, corner sofa area complete with parasol to stay in or out of the shade, a bbq area with small outside prep area, hot tub and even 4 sun loungers. The location is set in the countryside so expect to drive or cycle to the local vineyards and restaurants but rest assured Kirstie and Russell can recommend plenty of places of interest and even arrange cycle hire or restaurant bookings if preferred. All in all a really tranquil long weekend away that offered us plenty of tasty local food, vineyard visits, rest and relaxation in the sunshine. If you’re an animal lover then you’ll also appreciate Kirstie’s love of animals too and if you’re lucky you’ll get to taste a freshly laid egg from ’Cluckingham palace!’ A truly wonderful space and warm welcome that will encourage you to return. A gem of a holiday find - we will definitely be going back soon! Thank you Kirstie and Russell for your hospitality during our stay at Rusty Shears gite and for making great memories!
Excellent séjour dans un vrai château. Nous avons adoré nos vacances dans ce château ! Nous y sommes restés avec notre grande famille et avons adoré les options pour les enfants à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur. Le propriétaire était très sympathique et nous a accueillis personnellement le premier jour. Il y avait une tyrolienne que les enfants ont adoré ainsi qu'un certain nombre d'autres activités intérieures et extérieures. Je recommande fortement cette expérience à d'autres familles.
Fantastic stay in a wonderful house. Wonderful house for 7 people. The rooms were very spacious, as was the outside space. Excellent for families I would say. Very warm welcome by the host and pool was attended to throughout. Nice touch of having towels and bed linen changed during the stay for no extra charge (a first). Many thanks to Victoire and Gaby.

Nous revenons tout juste du Château des Dragons après de merveilleuses vacances en famille, à sept adultes et cinq enfants. À notre arrivée dans ce château historique, nous avons été accueillis par les propriétaires qui nous ont fait visiter leur magnifique demeure et son superbe mobilier d'époque. Ils nous avaient préparé un panier de bienvenue garni de spécialités locales et de produits de première nécessité. Les chambres étaient spacieuses et décorées dans le respect du style d'époque. La cuisine était équipée d'appareils modernes et de tout le nécessaire. La terrasse arrière disposait d'une grande table où nous pouvions tous dîner ensemble et faire un barbecue. La piscine chauffée a été très appréciée, surtout des enfants. Le vaste parc boisé était idéal pour se promener et jouer. Un havre de paix pour se ressourcer.
Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine en famille et entre amis dans cette belle maison superbement restaurée. Calme, quiétude, campagne, vignes, grande piscine chauffée, salle de jeux, parc arboré, terrain de boules, terrasse ombragée, tout a contribué à se sentir bien dans cette demeure. Chambres très agréables avec salle de bains privative pour presque toutes, grand séjour avec salon, cuisine très bien équipée... et panier repas très copieux à l'arrivée. … Merci Tracy pour l'accueil.
Merveilleux séjour dans une magnifique villa. Base idéale pour explorer cette belle partie de la France. J'ai passé la plupart des soirées sur la terrasse à profiter du coucher de soleil. J'y retournerais sans hésiter lors de mon retour dans cette région.
Thank you for letting us stay at this lovely stylish villa, one of the best we have ever stayed at. So well equipped, we wanted for nothing. Nardia recommended ‘Le Grand Frais’ supermarket at Carcassonne where we were able to buy some wonderful fresh produce on arrival and which saw us through the week. An absolutely fantastic place! Our week went so incredibly quickly. It is our second time in the Carcassonne area, but still so much to do and see. This time we discovered the Gorges de Galamus and the labyrinths at Nebias. Amazing! Short treks around the beautiful Villelongue were also so nice. We loved the compost recycling bin at the end of the commune. Very green! Thanks to Mike for sorting the awning for us on a very windy Sunday. Hope to be back!
