Une maison familiale qui vous enchantera pour un weekend ou plus. Un grand extérieur avec piscine et de plus, très bien agencé où tous les espaces sont merveilleusement bien pensé et décoré. Une arrivée parfaite avec des recommendations sur les visites et les choses à visiter aux alentours. Une cuisine suréquipée et tout un tas d’ustensiles bien pratiques. Le bonus, 9 vélos sont à disposition pour profiter des environs. Je recommande vivement.
What a fantastic week! The house is absolutely beautiful and very well stocked, had everything we needed, particularly the outdoor area - BBQ every night! The staff could not be more helpful and we felt instantly welcome. We are going to book for next year when we get home!
We had an amazing stay at your wonderful house. The setting was wonderful and we had a truly relaxing time. The scenery was a joy. We also liked the beautiful village / hamlet with such a wonderful church. We met many French people who were exceptionally friendly. We cooked with all the fresh produce from the markets and ate outside surrounded by hay bales! Thank you for such an amazing week.
You don't need us to tell you what a beautiful house this is and the bath with a view indeed. We didn't eat out much as the super markets were so convenient and the kitchen well equipped. We arrived in a heat wave, not complaining though! It was amazing and the wonderful pool helped us cool off. The children took their push bikes over the back of the vineyards to the cycle path and biked into Nyons, we also walked it which was most pleasant. As regards places of interest, we took ideas from the house book as it was too hot to visit the tourist information centre during opening hours and most of our exploring was done in the evenings.
Enchanting character house, with fabulous views making it difficult to leave, thank you for allowing us to share a real home from home. A really well equipped kitchen making it a great place to buy the local produce and wine and enjoy the benefits of staying in and soaking up the relaxing atmosphere. A day out driving through Beaume de Venice and Gigondas with the views of the Dentelles de mont Mirail was a highlight of our week. The market at Vaison la romaine was good fun, The wine at the Domaine Vallot (next door) was excellent as was the local bakery in Nyons. All in all a great week and thank you,
Une maison charmante et confortable dans une belle ville. Pézenas est un endroit fantastique - vous avez un excellent emplacement ici. Merci pour tous les conseils et idées dans votre dossier - vous aimez évidemment la région et aimez l'explorer! Les «Estivals» (vins et producteurs locaux proposent leurs produits dans les rues le soir) de Pézenas étaient très amusants et juste à deux pas, tous les vendredis soirs de juillet et août.
Le plus parfait endroit pour des vacances en famille paisibles et réparatrices ! Les enfants comme les adultes se sont amusés à la salle de jeux, les jouets, la superbe piscine... nous avons tellement apprécié la qualité des équipements et la conception bien pensée de la maison que c'en est devenu une blague récurrente: "qu'est-ce que cette maison n'a pas ?!"
Wonderful house, pool and garden. The weather was perfect and we really have enjoyed our stay.
C'était notre toute première location de vacances et elle a placé la barre très haut. De notre arrivée à l'accueil chaleureux et convivial de nos hôtes (Katerina et Stephen) jusqu'à notre départ, toujours aussi chaleureux et convivial, nous n'aurions pas pu rêver mieux pour ce long séjour. Le gîte est très bien aménagé et d'une taille idéale pour un couple. Il offrait tous les équipements nécessaires pour que nos deux semaines se sentent comme à la maison et offrait un espace confortable pour nous déplacer. La piscine est également excellente et témoigne du soin apporté par nos hôtes à la perfection de la décoration. L'emplacement, dans la vallée de la Vézère, est idéal pour visiter les nombreuses attractions de la région : grottes préhistoriques, grottes de stalagmites et de stalactites, maisons fortes, magnifiques châteaux et tant de villages pleins de charme. Nous avons même fait une descente de 12 km en canoë sur la Vézère, ce qui nous a permis de découvrir la vallée sous un angle différent. Même si nous aimons visiter différents endroits, il y a de fortes chances que nous y revenions !
Piscine incroyable et lits extrêmement confortables ! Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre court séjour dans votre magnifique villa, ce n'était certainement pas assez long ! Nous avons tout aimé, l'emplacement, les vues spectaculaires, la piscine incroyable et les lits extrêmement confortables ! L'ensemble était impeccablement présenté et vous nous avez très bien accueillis ! Nous avons certainement apprécié la bouteille à notre arrivée après le voyage que nous avions effectué ! Nous serions ravis de revenir dans un avenir pas trop lointain.
Beautiful house - everything you could possibly need for a totally carefree and relaxing holiday. We loved it so much here we only ventured away from the property for 2 half days. We would love to return! A huge thank you to Gary and Louise for managing the property so well and giving expert local knowledge.
What a remarkable project this house has bee ! Spacious and comfortable with fantastic garden and pool. We enjoyed visiting Bordeilles Castle and beautiful river, plus Brantome and paddle-boarding. We loved the market in Riberac, but the best of all was being here. So sad to leave !
We booked the Manoir de Monflanquin in Oct 2020. It was between lockdowns and it was a very weird and scary time for us as a family. We were so looking forward to the holiday. We then postponed it due to the travel restrictions in 2021, we just didn’t want to risk it. It’s the longest time we’ve ever waited for a holiday. Our holiday in Monflanquin was the best holiday we’ve ever had and we’ve been on some great ones! The house was elegant but robust enough to cope with the 9 of us. It was better than the photos we’d been pouring over for two years. We never got used to the views, the space and beauty of the place. The pool, garden, hammocks, table tennis, badminton net and pool table kept us fully entertained. The kitchen was such a lovely place to be and so delightfully organised. We all took it in turns to cook and had gorgeous evenings outside chatting and eating at the tables out front. The weather was incredible - we had days of glorious sunshine and then spectacular electrical storms. When it rained we just wandered into Monflanquin, set up camp in a pretty cafe and played cards. The view of Monflanquin from the garden always made me pause and remember how lucky we were. The views of the house as we strolled round the fields also gave us joy. It sat so firmly and proudly on its plot. Please thank the owners for providing such a lovely place for us to all get together. It was perfect. Thank you from us all.

Highly recommended. The house was very spacious, tidy and even more beautiful than in the photos. There is a large beautiful and enclosed garden and by the pool a nice terrace. The owner were really friendly and helpful. Both we and our 5 dogs had a great vacation. We will definitely go back again!

Nous avons passé une superbe semaine en France la semaine dernière et avons adoré le coach de tennis que Francesca nous a trouvé.
La campagne et la vue sont superbes. Complète relaxation et de beaux souvenirs en mémoire de retour à Dublin.
Beautifully renovated, well equipped house, ideal for family / friends gathering. Three quite separate sets of 2 double/ twin bedrooms with en-suites and seating areas, so plenty of privacy. Well equipped kitchen (loads of fridge space) and separate bar / fridge/ dishwasher area. Plenty of seating and dining space both inside and out on two terraces. Kids loved the pool and outside space, playing volley ball in the garden. We enjoyed the views and quiet surroundings. My parents enjoyed the local towns and villages; and the cakes! Daily cleaning included by lovely housekeeper/ gardener who live next door. We didn't know they were there except when we needed them. The area is beautiful if you have the energy to travel, Beaune and Dijon are worth a visit and the nearby Couches with a lovely château has a delicious Patisserie / Boulangerie. We took the train from Chagny to Beaune to visit the Hospice and enjoyed a wine tasting. There are lots of vineyards to visit and taste at, we wished we'd organised some tours before we arrived as the owners can advise on this. You will not be disappointed booking this house, we have stayed in many houses in France over the last 30 years and this is undoubtedly the loveliest. We hope to return.
We’ve just come back from a wonderful stay at Manoir Coutenson. The spacious and well maintained accommodation met the needs of our party of 15 perfectly, ranging from ages 1 to 85. The accommodation was even nicer than shown in the photos, as the sitting room had been refurbished. We particularly loved the on site activities (table tennis, pétanque, pool etc) and the sitting area by the pool! There were many thoughtful touches, including toys for younger children, board games and a well stocked kitchen. The site managers were on hand to help with any queries and advise on places to visit. The Manoir is well located close to Casteljaloux for supermarket, shops, market etc and there is lots to do in the surrounding area. We’d certainly love to stay here again!
We just wanted to say how impressed we were with the house we rented through Pure France. We have rented a lot of houses both in the UK and overseas and I think this was definitely one of the very best. It was so well equipped - not just in terms of entertainment but all the items in the house (especially in the kitchen) and home comforts and the swimming pool was perfect. We are so glad we found it and we had an excellent week.
What an excellent villa in a wonderful setting. Everything we needed was here and the swimming pool was just right. As previous comments by others, Cédric is a great host. We thoroughly recommend a visit to this area and this villa. Bize-Minervois and Lagrasse were our two favourite places to visit. If you want to treat yourself to a great restaurant in a great setting, Relais Chantonvent in Minerve - book early.
Magnifique villa, belle piscine et emplacement parfait ! Nous venons de passer une merveilleuse semaine aux Fumerates. Nous avons reçu un accueil chaleureux de la part de Michael et Denise et l'attention portée aux détails dans la propriété était irréprochable avec du savon, des gels douche, des dosettes de café et bien plus encore, l'ensemble encore amélioré par des lits confortables, la climatisation et une présentation impeccable. Nous avons adoré le caractère de la propriété et son superbe aménagement. La fantastique piscine à débordement a été le cadre de beaux souvenirs passés assis sur la terrasse pour un repas ou un verre, puis à plonger dans l'eau magnifique et à admirer la vue imprenable. Nous nous sommes également amusés sur le toboggan et le plongeoir et nous sommes détendus en flottant sur les transats confortables de la piscine. Les Fumerates sont idéalement placés pour visiter des endroits comme Nice, prendre le bus au bout de la route fonctionnait parfaitement et n'étaient qu'à 15 minutes en voiture de l'aéroport ! Nous avons également visité Monaco, Antibes, Saint-Tropez et Port Grimaud, mais l'un des points forts a été la courte promenade jusqu'au village magique de Saint-Paul-de-Vence pour y prendre un verre et un repas. Nous y avons passé l'une de nos meilleures vacances à ce jour et nous y reviendrons certainement !
Wanted to say a massive thank you for letting us stay at your incredible house. How lucky you are to have that place - from the family photos, it looks like you have a lot of great memories from years gone by. We had a very relaxing time hanging out with our family at the house and thoroughly enjoyed pottering around the French countryside. It was just what the doctor ordered! Patrick and Jayne were also very helpful throughout our stay so please do thank them for their amazing hospitality
Souvenirs : La vue depuis la maison. Le vent, comme un train de marchandises à travers les montagnes ! Le camion à pizza du mercredi soir. Minerve – agréable et calme (La Terrasse pour manger). La douche à l'avant – je veux la même dans ma maison ! Le réfrigérateur/congélateur – eau froide et glaçons au robinet – autre chose que nous voudrions dans notre maison. Des journées de farniente au bord de la piscine avec une cafetière et un livre. La Villa Lavinière a tout ce dont nous avions besoin, et plus encore. Quelle belle maison. C'est certainement une maison dans laquelle nous reviendrons et que nous recommanderons à nos amis.
Nous avons séjourné au Le Mas Feuille avec ses deux chambres doubles (qui étaient immenses) et deux lits jumeaux avec de belles salles de bains. Les maris voulaient «marcher» jusqu'aux magasins locaux le matin et rentrer des bars locaux le soir. Finalement, c'était faisable, la région était magnifique et nous avions la paix la plus totale. Je manque de mots, l'immensité du site et la déco sont époustouflantes. Nous serions ravis d'y retourner un jour.
Thank you so much for having us and being such wonderful hosts. We've all had such a brilliant time and it really has felt like a home from home. Kit (5 years old) is really going to miss his daily swim, it's been so nice to see his confidence grow. I'm sure we'll be back !
