Nous avons séjourné du 22 au 29 juillet 2023 dans Les Trois Maisons de Valescure. 4 générations, 19 personnes. Notre séjour a été très agréable, randonnées magnifiques, visites - Cotignac est une petite merveille, comme sur les cartes postales - piscine, tant sur le plan logistique qu'environnement. Équipements parfaits pour la vingtaine que nous étions. Thomas a contribué à la réussite de notre séjour grâce à so attention et sa réactivité efficace, excellente communication.
Spacious and beautiful house and grounds. Shaded areas a welcome balance. Very child and baby friendly. Lovely pool. Everything thought of and provided for a 3 generation family. Toys / DVDs / Books perfectly stocked. Playroom and comfortable seating a huge bonus. The WII very much appreciated! Food delicious and in perfect quantities. Very helpful to have options - prepared and / or catered. Thoughtful and considerate catering for children.
Sadly leaving. What a truly delightful house this is and how warm and welcoming it has been for our family of 9 travelling from Australia to celebrate two 50th birthdays. Despite the heat we have been comfortable and happy, exploring many towns and locations and enjoying the pool and the house. The kitchen was perfect, all the little extra's very much appriciated and the beds so comfortable. We played football, rode the bikes and went for local walks. Simply one of the best houses we've ever stayed in and one of the best holidays we've ever enjoyed.
If you're looking for French charm and a true get away, then Le Mas de Combet is the place for you. A beautiful house with everything you need for a trip away with family or friends (the accommodation in the barn is so handy for young familys too). The property has been lovingly and thoughtfully restored plus communication was spot on, it was easy to book and any questions I had were answered promptly.
Notre groupe de 10 (6 adultes, 4 enfants) a passé une très bonne semaine dans cet établissement, Il y avait beaucoup d'espace pour tout le monde et la propriété était exactement comme sur la photo. Le maison est restée plus fraîche que prévu pendant les températures de 40 degres (en raison des murs en pierre trés épais et du toit, sans aucun doute) et la piscine était formidable. Notre contact Florence nous a rencontrés à l'arrivée pour tout nous montrer et était disponible pour répondre aux questions pendant la semaine. Nous avons apprécie le marché de Sainte-Geniès et exploré Sarlat-la-Canéda.
A fitting venue to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary with our four children, their husbands and wives and our grandchildren! Memories that will remain for years. Well provided for, comfortable and panoramic views -with a week of excellent weather! Thank you and your staff!
We’ve had a wonderful week lounging by the pool and playing pool and table tennis, (all great for teenagers). Vinsobres is so lovely and only minutes away, Nyons and Vaison were good trips out.
The house is beautiful - plenty of space for a large group to have both together time and also their own space. Outdoor areas are fantastic and beds super comfy! . Overall highly recommended.
Wow! what a start to the summer. Very hot, lovely weather, plums aplenty (from garden trees), walks to Eglise de Senezelles, daily visits to the bakery in Cancon, fab Monday markets, much swimming, pool/snooker, BBQs, card games, a very dramatic thunder storm and 18 wonderful books (from the Bosc Grand shelves) read collectively. The stuff of family holiday dreams. We hope to be back!
Absolutely stunning. We visited the house last summer and had an absolutely amazing time. The house is stunning with views over to Grasse and down toward Cannes. As a family of 5 (children 8, 5 and 12 months), it had everything we needed including a god sized pool and the interiors of the house are beautiful. It is a short drive to the local supermarket and amenities and only 20 minutes drive to the beaches of Cannes and Antibes. Nearby Mougins and Grasse provide an abundance of restaurants. A car is a must as the house is accessed up a steep road but views are spectacular. We can't wait to visit again this summer.
We (family of four, 2 adults and 2 children) enjoyed a lovely week here in July. Fantastic with private pool which was cleaned every day, walking distance to pretty village and bakers, lovely and very welcoming hosts. The house contains two sweet bedrooms, large and relaxing lounge / kitchen area, outdoor kitchen and terrace plus a nice pavilion by the pool. Lots of games available including a table tennis table. Had a great week and happy to recommend.

La maison de Marie-Christine est idéale pour une famille, elle est décorée avec beaucoup de goût, moderne et aérée. Elle dispose de toute les commodités et sa localisation est idéale (supermarché, boulangeries, centre commercial, centre ville, gare, etc) Marie est une personne charmante. Elle nous a donné des conseils et nous a réservé un bon accueil. Je recommande fortement sa maison qui est entièrement rénovée. Le Plus: Une vue magnifique sur le coucher de soleil :-) Merci encore pour votre disponibilité et votre accueil Marie! A très bientôt
We have had a wonderful time at your villa, whilst the UK shivered and got rained on, we have been exploring the locality. The villa was everything it claimed to be and much more, our best choice so far in Languedoc. A wonderful holiday!
Nous avons passé un excellent moment dans cette belle villa. Prendre un bain de soleil au bord de la piscine, nager et faire de l'escalade (ce ne sont seulement quelques-unes des choses que nous avons faites). Nous espérons revenir l'année prochaine.
Notre séjour ici a été des plus agréables. La villa est très confortable avec un agréable mélange de décoration moderne et antique. La piscine a été utilisée tous les jours, même si le temps s'est un peu rafraîchi fin septembre. Bessan est bien situé pour visiter de nombreux endroits intéressants. Nous nous sommes sentis les bienvenus, accueillis par Lisbeth.
Beautiful villa in a stunning location. Inside there are large spacious rooms, which are all furnished to a high standard. The property was lovely and clean and well maintained. My husband and I stayed with my daughter and boyfriend, we had the lovely bedroom on the first floor which had a verandah with the most stunning view. I found it difficult to drag myself away from here each morning whilst enjoying my breakfast overlooking the village and church. My daughter had the double on the ground floor which was just as lovely with double doors opening out onto patio area. The villa was large enough for us all to have our own space and privacy. Outside the pool area was stunning, more glorious views. Plenty of sun beds for everyone, a very well equipped area and great pool! I also found it difficult to drag myself away from here, but glad I did as the area is so beautiful. A must is the Gorge du Verdon, the many hill top villages and a visit to the fabulous beaches. After a days sightseeing it was great to come back for a swim before going out to dinner. We did'nt travel far in the evenings as we really enjoyed the hotel in the village. The food was excellent, well presented and good service. Italian was also good. We also enjoyed shopping locally for produce, cooking for ourselves and then relaxing in the garden, followed by a game of boules, what could be better especially after a few glasses of wine! I would recommend a stay here and am looking forward to our return.
We had the most magical week at the enchanting Château Mabrouke. A beautiful house with outstanding facilities set in a most stunningly unspoilt expanse of French countryside. With some gloriously grand rooms in the château, immaculate gardens and seemingly endless out-buildings, Château Mabrouke still had a wonderfully homely feel to it. We enjoyed days spent splashing in the pool, long lunches and drinks with a view. And a couple of nights of being cooked for and hosted by the lovely Martin and Philippa were an absolute treat. Visits to the nearby pretty towns of Foix and Mirepoix were lovely and other places to recommend include the stunning Montsegur and some interesting prehistoric caves near the charming town of Mas d'Azil. All in all a most heavenly escape. We look forward to returning.
Cinq étoiles ne suffisent pas à donner un avis sur ce gîte exceptionnel. Une semaine fabuleuse, qui a débuté par un accueil chaleureux (et un délicieux cocktail au cognac) de Mark et Gary, puis par un cadre luxueux que nous avons adoré : 7 jours de luxe absolu, et un grand merci à nos hôtes merveilleux qui ont rendu notre séjour encore plus spécial. L'attention portée aux détails est exemplaire : tout le nécessaire est fourni (du lait fouetté pour un café parfait à la friteuse à air, en passant par les sèche-cheveux, le gel douche au parfum divin et les douches cascade). Le panier de bienvenue était un délice et Mark et Gary ont été des hôtes parfaits, avec d'excellentes recommandations pour le dîner (Le Boule d'Or et Les Drôles étaient excellents) et les lieux à visiter. Tout est impeccable (y compris la piscine et la terrasse, méticuleusement nettoyées chaque jour) et les lits sont comme un nid douillet. L'odeur chaleureuse qui règne partout est un souvenir inoubliable, notamment lors d'une visite à Aubeterre et à Savon Garde. Nous ne pouvons rien reprocher à cet incroyable havre de paix et de luxe et prévoyons déjà d'y retourner. Merci à Mark et Gary d'avoir transformé la Distillerie La Charmante en une destination de vacances exceptionnelle et pour votre hospitalité du début à la fin.

We can't wait to return. Russell and Karen are perfect hosts and the Loft is amazing. We can't imagine how your next project will look, we shall have to come back and see for ourselves. Languedoc, Occitanie is so beautiful and we have only scratched the surface. The Loft is the perfect place to stay and venture out from, returning to its calm and tranquil environment - just perfect. One week was certainly not enough and we both hope very much to return soon and we wish you all the best.
Je suis revenu aux Fumerates pendant cinq années consécutives et j'ai toujours passé un moment des plus merveilleux ici. Les Fumerates sont d'une beauté époustouflante et le cadre est inégalé. La piscine à débordement et la vue sur la mer sont incroyables. Très bien situé - très calme, mais proche de St Paul de Vence. Nous en partons toujours très détendu et revigoré. Je ne saurais trop le recommander !
We visited as 3 families of 4 with 6 children age 7 and under between us. The pictures don’t do the house or grounds justice. It was absolutely wonderful with everything we could have needed for adults and children. Plenty of space, inside and out and the pool that kept everyone happy for hours every day. We would highly recommend to others.
Nous sommes maintenant de retour chez nous et je tenais à vous adresser mes plus sincères remerciements pour votre accueil à la Maison de Saint-Jean. Votre maison est magnifique. Elle allie le charme d'un ancien corps de ferme au confort d'équipements modernes et stylés. Nous étions 6 mais la maison peut accueillir 8 personnes. Ce sont surtout les extérieurs que nous avons adorés. Même si le temps n'était pas très confortable cet été, nous avons apprécié le très grand jardin, la vue étendue et la piscine chauffée. Nous reviendrons certainement car la région vaut encore quelques détours et votre maison est le point de chute idéal pour la visiter. À bientôt.
C'est vraiment une propriété merveilleuse avec des hôtes sympathiques et accueillants : c'était encore mieux en vrai que sur les photos. La maison ne manque de rien, ni en charme ni en qualité de finition intérieure et tout était prévu pour rendre notre séjour aussi confortable qu'on pourrait l'espérer. C'était une véritable « maison loin de chez soi » avec plusieurs petites attentions qui ont fait toute la différence (savon frais dans la salle de bain, dosettes de café et eau en bouteille si nous le voulions dans la cuisine pour n'en citer que quelques-unes). Tout cela, combiné à un emplacement fantastiquement pittoresque et paisible, fait que nous ne pouvons que recommander cette propriété et que nous reviendrons très certainement la prochaine fois que nous visiterons la région Languedoc en Occitanie !
Nous sommes venus à la Maison Baleyssagues tant de fois et encore une fois, ce fut un moment merveilleux. Il y a tellement de choses pour s'y divertir et rassembler la famille. Je ne veux pas partir mais je dois rentrer à la maison.
We have at last found paradise in a place we could all share. Thank you for sharing this beautiful, peaceful house. The countryside for early morning sun, endless swim day and night. The bird watching and the lazing in the shade. We had great fun wine tasting locally and having been blessed with stunning weather we have had long al fresco meal every day. I think we have made the most of all the games and puzzles inside and out and no TV! À bientôt!
