La Villa Funel bénéficie d'un bel emplacement étant très privée avec des vues sur les environs. Le logement était exceptionnellement propre et bien meublé avec tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin et plus (bien mieux que certaines villas que nous avons louées auparavant !). La piscine était de bonne taille, magnifique, agréable pour nager après les visites. Je recommanderais vivement cette villa à un couple ou à une famille.
Le Château de la Ronde est un magnifique endroit. L'accueil y est chaleureux et le service, trés haut de gamme, y est irréprochable. Sa situation en fait un excellent lieu de séjour, que ce soit pour s'y reposer ou découvrir la val de Loire.
It has been a great pleasure meeting you both and staying with you. We thoroughly enjoyed our first evening with you both and learning a little about the area. What you have done with your property is truly magnificent despite the artisans! We enjoyed following your recommendations for places to visit and have navigated our way through the vineyards - thank you for our adventures! We went to Narbonne and saw synchronized kite flying that was really exciting to watch. We will really miss the gardens and pool. Au revoir.

Beautiful! We do feel thoroughly spoilt and have had a wonderful time. The playroom alone is better than our own and the pool is perfect. Very friendly, helpful and efficient service.
Peter and I just returned from our holiday in France and I wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our week at les Marquises! The property is just lovely- the views from the terrace and the master bath really are stunning. The kitchen was a pleasure to use, everything one needed was provided. I know you did nt arrange this but the weather was superb-sun and very warm temps every day. It was a pleasure to return to the pool and cool off with a view of the vineyards! We even got to see the grape harvest in the fields directly behind the pool! We found the location perfect -close to Nyons but super quiet and private. This charming home is cleverly decorated and very comfortable. I also found booking with Pure France wonderful- fast replies, easy payment and most helpful responses to any questions I had. Thank you again for the opportunity to stay at this unique property and to explore a beautiful part of Provence. A la prochaine!
Une vieille bâtisse dans un lieu un peu isolé où il règne une tranquillité et un calme voulue. Une maison décorée avec beaucoup de goût ! Une piscine ensoleillée du matin au soir idéale pour se détendre et bronzer avec juste un coin d'ombre où il fait bon se poser et profiter. Des hôtes discrets, agréables et aux petits soins pour ses invités !
(Pour célébrer 35 ans d'amitié). Quelle semaine fabuleuse nous avons partagée dans votre œuvre d'amour, tout simplement incroyable. Nous ne saurions trop vous remercier pour votre superbe hospitalité - ce dès 2020, lorsque nous avons réservé - vous avez répondu et conseillé avec brio. Une semaine chaude mais la piscine offrait un répit bienvenu. Merci encore. J'espère être de retour bientôt.
We just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful holiday in your beautiful house. You have made everything so comfortable and easy and it was such a joy to stay there. The location was perfect, such a peaceful spot with stunning views, in a pretty village. It exceeded all of our expectations. The region is so interesting too. We loved it all but especially the salt water swimming pool and the way you have landscaped the whole outside areas. We spent as much time as we could relaxing there. I hope we can return for another holiday soon! Thank you from us all. We couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. It really was perfect.
What a gorgeous week we've had here ! Annie and John have been so welcoming - inviting us for a much-needed glass of wine on our arrival. Not to mention all the helpgul local knowledge and information. We have loved the pool, sunshine and glorious garden. We would recommend the lovely Piglet Barn and Annie and John especially. We've had a great time and we’ve especially enjoyed the pool, as the temperature has barely dropped below 30°C day or night for the week due to the canicule. Our favorites: Best boulangerie: Andralie in Monflanquin, just beyond the Gendarmerie on the road to Villeneuve. There is an Auchan hypermarket just beyond on the same road. Best market: (Sunday) Issigeac. Best night for: Sarlat (Wednesday's), Le Bugue also good (Tuesday's). Best for a visit and potter: Monpazier – old, beautiful and floral. Lots of artisan shops and a long fort (Château Biron). Also, fabulous marché nocturne in Tournon d’Agenais on Friday. We ate from (Gyp?) and enjoyed watching Olympics in cool shady areas.
This beautifully maintained property is less than two hours outside of Paris. We never wanted to leave the grounds, there is everything to keep the kids happy: miles to run, pool, tennis and playhouse. We adults lazed all day by the pool while the children run happy and wild on the enclosed grounds. The owner gave us wonderful recommendations for off the beaten path wine tastings. Make sure she shows you the mill across the stream where they make the best croissants and bread. The layout of the château allows for several families to enjoy a vacation together, while maintaining peaceful, private moments. Best family vacation ever.
Wonderful house, very relaxing location. So much to see, not enough time.
The property was everything we were hoping for and more. It's simple yet beautifully done out inside. The outdoor areas are great, particularly the pool. It's so well designed for a family holiday. The local village is so cute and the hotel restaurant great too. And obviously the local wine was delicious too! Couldn't have asked for more.
Nous venons de passer des vacances très réussies à la Villa Bellara. Nous étions sept (dont deux enfants) la première semaine et deux pendant la majeure partie de la seconde semaine. Nous étions certainement à l'aise. La villa est située dans une rue résidentielle calme, donc aucun problème de bruit tôt le matin ! Elle se trouve à environ huit minutes à pied d'une excellente pâtisserie pour acheter des croissants, etc. pour le petit-déjeuner, avec un excellent magasin de fruits en face. Le supermarché est un peu plus loin, mais facilement accessible. La plage est à environ 12 minutes à pied. L'accès aux autres lieux est simple via la gare de Cagnes (Nice ou Cannes) et il existe un bus gratuit pour les Hauts de Cagnes qui valent bien une visite. La propriété est parfaitement entretenue, l'équipement de cuisine de première classe et bien pensé. Il y a une splendide terrasse donnant sur la piscine, avec un auvent au-dessus de la table à manger qui nous a tous confortablement accueilli. Le soir, le petit jardin dispose de lumières sous les arbres, et à minuit, des gerbes jaillissent de l'herbe pour l'arroser. Le jardin, bien que petit, est bien entretenu, entouré de haies, le rendant très privé. Nous avons passé des vacances des plus agréables et mémorables.
We met, as a family of eleven, to celebrate two eighty's birthdays and a twenty sixth at Christmas time in this lovely home,and what a glorious time we had together. Many thanks.
Nous avons passé un autre agréable séjour à ce cher Malardier. Il nous manquera l'été prochain mais nous reviendrons c'est certain.
C'est la maison de vacances idéale et la famille a passé une excellente semaine. La belle maison, propre et bien équipée, la piscine privée avec vue, le beau village à distance de marche - tous les bons ingrédients sont présents pour passer un bon moment dans cette région. Merci.
J'avais de très bonnes attentes pour ce logement, sur la base des photos et des descriptions. Mais le château a été encore plus incroyable que ce que nous avons osé imaginer. Nous étions quatre familles, 15 au total, lors d'un voyage de remise des diplômes à travers l'Europe. C'est le seul endroit où nous pourrions tous être ensemble, et nos journées là-bas ont été le point culminant de notre voyage. Cet endroit est PARFAIT pour les grands rassemblements. Tellement de place, tellement d'endroits où nous pourrions tous être ensemble. Cuisine incroyable. La piscine était géniale. Je ne saurais trop dire à quel point c'était parfait pour notre groupe.
We have had a wonderful and memorable two weeks here. You both have been very helpful and thoughtful. Highlights for us were relaxing by the pool, the great markets at Cahors and Prayssac, the daily petit déjeuner at Chez Lajo and C. using Frans' smoker and BBQ! We are looking forward to returning!
We are all having the most idyllic time here in your beautiful home - it is just perfect and so beautifully and tastefully presented - the weather is incredible and the pool in full use - we have visited Ilsle sur la Sourgue, Châteauneuf du Pap and the surrounding villages which are all charming - so all very well!
Merci pour ces belles vacances dans votre belle maison. La piscine était parfaite tout comme le temps, nous en avons donc pleinement profité. Le coin barbecue était super aussi et le nouveau réfrigérateur-congélateur avec machine à glaçons était super. La région de Besson était parfaite à explorer sur nos vélos. Il y a encore tellement de choses à voir, donc je suis sûr que nous reviendrons.
Such a great place to stay. It's so peaceful, really well laid out and perfect for groups big or small. Close enough to the main town and well located for golf or wine country. Hosts were super helpful and welcoming and the house itself is gorgeous. Great pool, facilities and entertaining areas - we'll definitely be going back.
Thank you so much for your very warm welcome at Piglet. What a wonderful house ! Vouvant is a delightful village which we enjoyed getting to know. Altogether a lovely spot.
We had a fantastic week here, the weather was very good - sunny every day, except one. Got up to 28 degrees. Used the pool everyday, bets way to keep cool. We thought the house was very good, had everything you would want. The welcome hamper we had was very good. The best we have ever had, we must have stayed at 20 French houses over the past 10 years but never seen so much food provided. We didn't do out too much as we had been to area before preferred to be by the pool anyway. We did however go to the Hennessey distillery at Cognac, enjoyed the tour 18 euros each. Thought Cognac was a lovely town. So all in all, had a good vacation, would come back again. Thank soo Phil and Ann for making the house so clear and tidy, we didn't have any problems with anything in the house, which must be a first! All the best.
