Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à la Maison Carel. C'est une maison fantastique avec de superbes équipements.
Beautifully renovated, well equipped house, ideal for family / friends gathering. Three quite separate sets of 2 double/ twin bedrooms with en-suites and seating areas, so plenty of privacy. Well equipped kitchen (loads of fridge space) and separate bar / fridge/ dishwasher area. Plenty of seating and dining space both inside and out on two terraces. Kids loved the pool and outside space, playing volley ball in the garden. We enjoyed the views and quiet surroundings. My parents enjoyed the local towns and villages; and the cakes! Daily cleaning included by lovely housekeeper/ gardener who live next door. We didn't know they were there except when we needed them. The area is beautiful if you have the energy to travel, Beaune and Dijon are worth a visit and the nearby Couches with a lovely château has a delicious Patisserie / Boulangerie. We took the train from Chagny to Beaune to visit the Hospice and enjoyed a wine tasting. There are lots of vineyards to visit and taste at, we wished we'd organised some tours before we arrived as the owners can advise on this. You will not be disappointed booking this house, we have stayed in many houses in France over the last 30 years and this is undoubtedly the loveliest. We hope to return.
Deux semaines super dans cette charmante villa. Emplacement fantastique pour explorer la région de Marseillan. Mèze est un must, super déjeuner chez Noilly Prat, café à Mèze. Nous avons passé de nombreuses heures heureuses dans la grande piscine. Merci.
Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour à Richelieu. La maison est extrêmement élégante et avait tout le nécessaire. La piscine et les espaces de divertissement à l'extérieur étaient excellents. C'était une maison fantastique.
Two weeks of idyllic bliss in the rolling French countryside with superb weather to atch. As a family young and old, we enjoyed the stunning house, garden, pool and views. To agree with the previous guests, Laparade is the place to be on a Tuesday evening. Days spent at Biscarosse beach and lakeside both worth the journey. Would also highly recommend in house beauty treatments. We had massages and facials. Fantastic. Just ask Olivia.

Nous avons passé une semaine agréable en profitant de cette belle maison et de la piscine, des petits-déjeuners et des barbecues à l'extérieur. Nous avons eu une météo très variable mais cela nous a permis de découvrir Périgueux et Saint-Émilion. Nous recommandons vivement Aubeterre et le bar Brasserie de Verteillac Le Calice. Je n'écris pas souvent d'avis, mais si je pouvais mettre 10 étoiles, je le ferais. La Charmante Distillerie est tout simplement incroyable. Mark et Gary sont des personnes chaleureuses, gentilles et authentiques qui se surpassent pour rendre votre séjour inoubliable. Je suis très exigeante en matière de propreté et je peux honnêtement dire que cette maison est vraiment la plus propre que j'aie jamais visitée, le souci du détail est exceptionnel. Les lits sont les plus confortables que j'aie jamais utilisés et il y a tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin, et plus encore. La piscine chauffée était magnifique, le terrain de pétanque extérieur nous a amusés, adultes et enfants. Le Wi-Fi est excellent. De nombreux espaces salon et repas confortables sont situés dans le magnifique parc, avec la campagne et la forêt environnantes. Nous avons veillé tard chaque soir pour observer les étoiles, ce qui en valait vraiment la peine. Un merci en particulier à Mark et Gary pour avoir été les meilleurs hôtes que j'aie jamais eu le plaisir de rencontrer.
We have just returned from a wonderful 2 week holiday in France. We cannot recommend the property highly enough. It is very well equipped, the pool always warm and cleaned daily, in a great location and Jean, Martin and of course Tanner the dog so welcoming and helpful. This was our second time and already planning when we can return!
We can't wait to go back! A chateau with some serious wow factor, this beautiful home in Burgundy was the perfect setting for our family holiday. Luxurious but also wonderfully laid back, it had every possible amenity - tennis court, swimming pool, fully equipped kitchen, gas barbecue, DVD with full library of movies, games room, etc – allowing us all to relax, unwind, keep everyone entertained and also treat ourselves. Would highly recommend hiring the local chef too for an extra special treat. Can’t wait to go back!
Il s'agit d'un compte-rendu actualisé et plus complet de notre séjour en juin dans la magnifique Maison des Cordeliers à Sarlat. Après un très long voyage jusqu'à Sarlat depuis Calais via Orléans à travers des tempêtes de pluie franchement bibliques, ce fut un soulagement d'arriver dans une maison aussi accueillante ! La maison était très cosy et avait tout le confort que l'on peut souhaiter. Les lits étaient super confortables (c'est dire quelque chose de la part d'une personne difficile en matière de matelas) et il y avait beaucoup de rangements pour les bagages. La cuisine et le salon étaient approvisionnés avec tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin et la télévision par satellite était un bonus pour les match de l'Euro ! Comme le temps s'améliorait, nous avons passé beaucoup de temps autour de la belle piscine ou quand il faisait trop chaud, la véranda était un endroit bienvenu où s'installer à l'ombre et se détendre avec un livre. La climatisation était également très appréciée ! Nous n'avions jamais séjourné dans cette partie de la France auparavant, nous nous dirigions habituellement vers la Provence ou la Côte d'Azur, mais la ville ne nous a pas déçus. Belle architecture médiévale, marchés fabuleux et charmants magasins et restaurants. Sarlat est une véritable merveille et le fait que le centre soit à 5 minutes à pied de la maison est un véritable bonus. Je peux honnêtement dire que nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux et relaxant à la Maison des Cordeliers et que nous serions ravis d'y séjourner à nouveau la prochaine fois que nous nous reviendrons en Dordogne.
First things first - Karen, Russell and the girls (Mack and Mabel) are wonderful hosts. Warm, friendly, thoughtful and yet discreet. They love what they're doing and it shows as nothing is too much trouble. Their enthusiasm for their ventures (current and future) is infectious. Secondly is the 'Loft du Vigneron' - a fabulous property offering everything - and more - that you could hope for. Karen and Russell's sense of style has been imprinted on it and their attention to detail has left nothing wanting. Every comfort has been considered from the fabulous welcoming pack to 'The White Company' range of toiletries. The terrace was our favourite place with the sun streaming through the roof and the warm breeze cooling us down. Rieux-Minervois is a typical French village and perfectly situated to explore the entire Minervois region from Carcassonne in the West, East to the Mediterranean, and all the lovely historical villages North and South. In conclusion, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful property with the perfect hosts - highly recommended without hesitation. Our very best wishes for every success in you new venture. Just to say how much we enjoyed staying at Le Grand Verger for the last two weeks. What an amazing house in such a beautiful setting, we all found it so relaxing and inspirational, with lots of music, games and reading. A truly memorable family get together with lots of photographs to remind us. We loved La Romieu (thank you for the recommendation) where the gardens were superb and the Collégiale Saint-Pierre certainly an experience with the spiral staircases! Loved the herbs in the garden too which we used daily and several trips were made to the ice cream shop in the village, the green tomato and basil was a new find and delicious. We were lucky with the weather, providing lots of opportunity for swimming and generally relaxing. Thank you again, we'd loved to return in the future.

A gorgeous home, with so much to offer! 3 min walk into the beautiful bustling town of Pezenas and you have the tranquility of pool and garden! The pool was a welcome relief from the heat and very welcome after a day out exploring the area! We had some great fun playing table tennis and darts in the games room. We had a wonderful holiday, the lovely, very comfortable and well decorated home facilitated this!

Went to this beautiful holiday cottage for the second time. What a great experience again this time. We were warmly welcomed and our house felt like coming home again. Host and hostess Leo and Esther gave us great tips so that our holiday became a great experience again. The visit to Nîmes was impressively beautiful. I especially recommend visiting Avignon to everyone with its beautiful center and the cozy terraces around the market square. The swimming pool overlooking the vineyards is a pearl. The silence descends on you wonderfully in the evening. Truly unique. Thank you for another great holiday.

In the 30 or so years we have been coming to France for our holidays I don't think we have stayed in a more lovely house. A very tranquil spot, with everything we could possibly need. We have enjoyed our stay immensely, whether lying by the pool or venturing out further to the beaches or the Verden Gorges, all wonderful. Thank you for sharing your well loved home, the view from the swing seat is to die for!
Nous y avons récemment passé un séjour très mémorable et agréable. Cette propriété luxueuse est confortable, bien présentée et très propre. Les vues depuis la propriété sont exceptionnelles et la piscine à l'horizon est le rêve de tout le monde. L'emplacement offre un accès aisé à Saint Paul de Vence et à la région environnante et constitue donc une base idéale pour découvrir les sites locaux.

Nous avons passé deux semaines merveilleuses au Château des Dragons. Une semaine en famille (dont deux jeunes enfants) et la seconde avec quatre adultes. Le château était parfait pour les deux semaines. Chacun bénéficiait d'une grande intimité, chaque chambre double disposant de toilettes et d'une salle de bain séparées. La cuisine était parfaitement équipée et nous avons pu préparer de délicieux repas. L'emplacement du château est idéal : un havre de paix au cœur d'un magnifique parc très bien entretenu. Les propriétaires ont répondu rapidement à toutes nos demandes et se sont montrés très serviables. Leurs recommandations d'activités et de restaurants nous ont été précieuses et nous ont permis de vivre de belles expériences, comme un vol en montgolfière et une dégustation de vins locaux. Nous avions une voiture, pratique pour nos déplacements, mais nous avons également utilisé les taxis locaux, notamment le minibus 9 places. La compagnie était sympathique et ponctuelle. La piscine, le château et le parc étaient impeccables et les espaces extérieurs étaient parfaits pour les repas. Les antiquités et les œuvres d'art offraient toujours de nouvelles découvertes. En résumé, nous recommandons vivement ce château et nous y retournerons sans hésiter.
We are just back from two magical weeks in this property set in a beautiful area with many Bastides to visit. The house is spacious with every required amenity hosted by the lovely owners Jean and Martin not forgetting the real star Tanner the dog. The grounds are enormous with a gorgeous pool, gazebo, huge parasols and sun-beds. The local village Lauzun is a short walk away for bread and there is a local Bar de Sport. Each Saturday night in the season the main street is closed off and tables set up for a gourmande evening... Very French! The owners will ensure that you have a good time but are in no way obtrusive. Don't miss the opportunity to try this property!
C'est une belle façon de passer ses vacances en été, je n'imagine pas préférer faire autre chose !
Fabulous home in a beautiful location This was easily one of the best holidays we have had. The house itself is beautiful, it's been refurbished to a high standard from the waterfall showers in the high spec bathrooms to the large range in the kitchen to the cosy decorating in the bedrooms. The back garden has a lovely private in ground pool to cool off in and the surrounding patio has loungers to sunbathe in and is surrounded by pretty landscaping. There are endless beaches and historic towns to visit within short driving distance but you will be equally as content not leaving the house. The village is lovely, it has a couple of pubs and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk from the house, along with boulangeries, a butchers, green grocers and a supermarket. Markets every other day in the square. The house is within a stones throw of it all which we found so handy. Terry was always available should you need any assistance and was very thoughtful and considerate, as was his housekeeper agent Paul. I can't say enough about this property, it was fabulous in every way!
Nous venons de passer la plus merveilleuse des semaines à la Maison des Communes. Philippe a été charmant, très serviable et informatif dès l'accueil et quelle belle surprise de voir une belle sélection de fromages et de vins laissés à notre attention! La villa est extrêmement bien meublée et équipée, c'est un délice de s'y détendre. Elle est très bien située pour explorer la région et faire un saut à l'une des nombreuses belles plages le long de la côte. La disposition des trois logements différents était absolument parfaite pour notre groupe de huit personnes, offrant intimité et détente à chacun, bien que nous ayons passé la plupart du temps autour et dans l'agréable piscine ou assis dehors à regarder la nuit s'installer tout en sirotant des vins locaux. Il y a beaucoup à voir et à découvrir dans la région et la villa était un havre de paix où nous rentrions chaque jour. Quelle superbe semaine: fabuleux petits déjeuners, mobilier élégant et artistique, chaleur et grand soleil de fin août et les meilleures vacances. Merci beaucoup, Philippe!
