Un séjour incroyable dans une propriété absolument magnifique. Une attention particulière portée aux détails, tant esthétiques que pratiques, ainsi qu'une hospitalité et une générosité de premier ordre de la part de nos hôtes, Gary et Mark. Nous avons passé une semaine tellement reposante et reposante, et nous y retournons, totalement convertis au Cognac !

Une location qui tient ses promesses : le lieu est charmant, la maison agréable et propre, l'équipement très complet, la piscine avec vue sur la Dordogne formidable. Nous avons reçu un très bon accueil et particulièrement apprécié le panier de bienvenue. La situation géographique est idéale pour rayonner de Sarlat à Bergerac et parcourir la vallée de la Dordogne est ses magnifiques châteaux, bastides et vignobles. Votre maison nous a vraiment beaucoup plu (rien ne nous a déçu) et nous garderons un excellent souvenir de ce séjour. M. Noble nous a réservé un très bon accueil et a toujours été très disponible et serviable pendant ces deux semaines. Le cadre, la déco et l'équipement en font un lieu de séjour particulièrement appréciable.
Quelle magnifique retraite loin de la vie urbaine ! Nous avons réservé trois semaines à la maison et en avons apprécié chaque minute. La cuisine extérieure est fantastique, c'était comme si nous avions notre propre restaurant privé. La piscine était parfaite pour nos trois enfants et la vue panoramique sur les montagnes environnantes est à couper le souffle. Alexandra était facilement joignable en cas de questions ou de problèmes. Dans l’ensemble, fortement recommandé !
Ouah! Quel endroit, calme, magnifique et la piscine a été un vrai régal ! La Maison Cabanon est le lieu familial idéal. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Merci pour tout.
What a wonderful holiday at this amazing Villa. Firstly, a big thank you to the owners who were amazing and answered all our queries and were very fair minded when checking out. This really is a luxury apartment and everything was as stated. The pool is excellent as well as the hot tub. The are lots of eating areas and plenty of room to sunbath on the decking. I can recommend taking advantage of the visiting chef - he was excellent. The property has aircon which works extremely well. The kitchen is amazing with every mod con you could want and well appointed with kitchen equipment. The welcome book was very useful and covered everything. There are plenty of fridges and freezers and one outside which was very useful. We were 7 adults and three young children and we fitted in very well and never felt cramped. Some of the walks nearby are very good. I cannot recommend this villa highly enough and we will definitely be returning

We stayed in this amazing house for a couple of weeks - 4 couples, with kids left home! The place is really hard to describe because it is so much more than we expected. Also the photos don't quite do it justice (especially the outdoors pics). It is a huge house, with several levels. All the bedrooms bar one are on one upper floor. The other bedroom (that we stayed in) is accessible on the side of the building and has a lovely little terrace with a small table and chairs. Perfect for taking in the sun or simply relaxing. I did do a bit of work there. On the lower level is the huge kitchen, big dining area with a really cool table that makes entertaining fun and loads of interesting living areas each individual and stylishly decorated. All in all it is a big place where it is easy to spend time with friends and be sociable, or retreat to one of the cosy, quirky but fantastic living spaces for me-time. We weren't quite sure what we would do there for 2 weeks as it seemed a little remote, but it is SO relaxing and welcoming we spent the first week just staying put and enjoying it. The swimming pool is great and I did my lengths every morning. The area just beyond the pool is great in the evening for a drink (or many more). The bedrooms are really special. Big and very well appointed. Comfortable beds and interesting bathrooms (ours had a built-in bath). The owner Fred is super friendly and accommodating. We were welcomed by him and his partner and to our surprise the fridge was filled with local produce and there was also some wine and fresh bread left for us! Great surprise and even better after the long drive down! For shopping we went to the closest town and there were 2 large supermarkets there as well as the usual bakeries/butchers etc. The area is very beautiful. The mountains are stunning and we found some really lovely villages to explore. We had a great dinner one night in Sauve. Really cute village well worth exploring. We ate on a square high up overlooking the river below. I could go on and on. The place has so much charm and is so well appointed, we could have stayed for longer. We have amazing memories and special thanks to Fred for having created this small piece of paradise.
Nous avons passé deux semaines merveilleuses à la villa. Nous avons passé beaucoup de temps dans la piscine fantastique. Nous sommes allés dans les villes voisines : Agde, Pézenas, Carcassonne, Limoux, Sète, toutes méritent une visite. Un grand merci à la propriétaire.
Un grand merci pour des vacances merveilleuses et très relaxantes dans votre belle maison. Tout était super, surtout les livraisons de pain tôt le matin ! Nous réserverons certainement à nouveau pour revenir à la Maison des Communes plus tard. Merci!
Totally loved the week that we had here! The pool was really private and if your after a pizza then visit Le Yacca, the best pizzas in the world! (in Pézenas). Enjoy your stay.

Cette année, la météo a été parfaite et nous avons vraiment apprécié nos excursions à Bordeaux, Saint-Émilion, les grottes et le canoë sur la rivière du Auemant-du-Dropt. We have had the most wonderful time at Maison des Hirondelles. The villa is beautiful and had everything we needed, so clean, comfortable and well thought out. Thank you for making us feel so welcome Cédric. Our daughter Edie, who is 8 months old had a wonderful time in the swimming pool and very much enjoyed her first holiday here in France. We visited Narbonne, Carcassonne, Gruissan, Minerve (fantastic chocolate shop!), Béziers, Canal du Midi with the 9 locks. Thank you for showing us your wine cellar, such a lovely touch. We would love to come back.

What an amazing chateau you have, breathtaking; everything that we needed and more. We have enjoyed 1 wonderful week, wish it could have been more. Julie, Paul and Steven - you have been fantastic, always on hand for advice and support and ideas. Especially enjoyed our ‘feast’ in the Dining Room celebrating Alan’s 70th birthday with laughter and some lovely memories that will stay with us all forever. Thank you for sharing your fantastic home with us. Perfect location and layout of the house, with a great outside bathing area to watch the sunsets with a glass of wine. Laprade not to be missed. If you are prepared to drive a little further Issigeac (Noth East of Eymet) worth a visit with a good selection of bars, shops and restaurants. Big thanks to Olivia, always on hand to help. La Maison Forgeron est une maison fantastique, quatre grandes chambres avec salles de bain, beaucoup d'espace commun, un joli jardin avec une superbe piscine. La maison est élégamment décorée et extrêmement bien équipée. En somme, une destination parfaite pour s'y rassembler en famille.
Fantastic scenery and plenty to do in the area. Natalie was very helpful and always on hand if needed. Thank you again for letting us stay in your beautiful home. P.S. Dom loved the running!
