Nous passons nos vacances dans cette région depuis plus de 30 ans et c'est sans aucun doute l'un des endroits les plus spéciaux où nous ayons séjourné. Nous prévoyons d'y retourner l'été prochain !
Pete has been a brilliant host with lots of recommendations. Thank you! We have had a fantastic stay at a beautiful location. With our 3 children (12, 10 and 7) we have really enjoyed Chateau de Biron – lots of outdoor toys / games for the kids + a nice picnic area. Lac de Lougratte – safe swimming / paddling for little ones, a diving pontoon and inflatable courses for older ones. Take a picnic! Canoeing (Canoe Rabaska) + Monflanquin night market at Loubéjac.
Salut Galina, nous avons passé un merveilleux moment, merci pour votre aide très rapide avec la climatisation. Tout était excellent avec le logeur et nous sommes maintenant en route pour Carcassonne. Merci encore de nous avoir laissé séjourner dans votre jolie maison.
Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour et nous n'avons rien trouvé à redire à la propriété. Une très agréable expérience. L'intérieur était impeccable et moderne, la cuisine était bien équipée et facile à utiliser, l'espace salon et salle à manger étaient propices à la détente et les chambres extrêmement confortables. Les vues à l'extérieur sont vraiment magnifiques, parfait pour profiter de la terrasse en prennant un bain de soleil ou en mangeant à l'extérieur, sans oublier la piscine à débordement pour se rafraîchir. Dans l'ensemble, un séjour très relaxant.
Perfect romantic getaway. Maison Meunier is set in the beautiful grounds, next to the old mill, overlooking the lake. The cottage is beautifully furnished and has its own patio and pool. The facilities are superb, the grounds are well manicured, lovely for walks and there is a fabulous games room where you can meet up with other guests for a drink and a chat and maybe a game of pool. A stroll into the village to sample the local fair is a must, the villagers made us very welcome. There are a number of local market towns (bastides) and châteaux close by including Monpazier a lively bastide with many shops and restaurants to enjoy. The owners were really helpful with advice on where to go and what to do, they couldn't do enough for us. Fabulous holiday.
Fabulous villa with view. Staying at the property made our vacation unforgettable. We were a group of 8 and the house was plenty big enough for all of us adults. The terrace with the pool was unbelievable. We spent many evenings dining and laughing and enjoying the beautiful view which showed the city of Grasse in the distance sparkling. The house was spotless and decorated beautifully. Every amenity was available. The owners were so helpful with any question. We can't wait to return to the Côte d'Azur and this house.
What an absolute joy to spend in such a wonderful house. We have had such a lovely fortnight and will miss the view and the birdsong each morning, but hope to see it all again one day’.

Our 2nd stay in Maison des Combes was very successful. The weather allowed us to enjoy the pool, walks and visits. Many deer and squirrels this year. 3 very friendly donkeys have embellished some productive fishing parties. Thank you to Karine and Pascale for their welcome and to Mr. Michelin for making this magnificent site available to us.
Nous avons passé 2 nuits au Château de La Loire et avons été enchantés de chaque aspect de notre séjour. Le logement était joliment aménagé et il y avait plusieurs endroits tout aussi beaux où s'asseoir et profiter du cadre. Le cadre surplombant la Loire était époustouflant et le parc de street art attenant était un régal inattendu. Nous avons adoré la piscine et le spa et avons eu la chance d'en avoir seuls profité à plusieurs reprises. Nous serions ravis d'y retourner un jour.
As per other reviews the house was great with stunning views. All the things you need to have a great holiday. The weather was still hot with some days in the mid 30s, so we took advantage of the swimming pool and relaxed around the house. The house is a great location for cycling, there is the obvious challenge of Mount Ventoux and there are some excellent roads in the surrounding area with stunning scenery. For those interested in wine then I would highly recommend Paul from Rhône wine tours. He came to the house and we did wine tasting with him and we learnt about wines of the Rhône valley, while the kids played in the pool. Great if you don't want to take a tour with kids at the winery.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la maison, préparé de fabuleux repas, apprécié les repas en plein air et, bien sûr, la piscine ! Nous avons adoré explorer Carcassonne et le Canal du Midi. Heaven on Earth. Our two week stay at Villa Chiavari was an absolute dream; I could not be more enthusiastic in recommending this home to anyone looking to spend their vacation in a veritable paradise. We were 2 couples, 3 children and 1 grandparent and booked an 'off-season' holiday at the end of September. Not long after our arrival we realised a major perk of booking 'off season': uncrowded beaches with absolutely perfect summer weather! Villa Chiavari's spectacular ocean-view infinity pool is surrounded by lounge-chairs and palm trees and bordered by a lush garden... good luck ever tearing yourself away. I should also mention that this lavish pool area is accessible by both the main living quarters of the house and by the bedrooms, which we found extremely convenient for our kids and elderly grandparent. Pool amenities also include a shaded lounge and dining area (also with an ocean view), a barbecue, outdoor refrigerator, pool toys and floats and easy access to a downstairs kitchenette. The grounds at the front of the house include a lush garden, an elevated hammock-hideaway in a quiet shady corner and an outdoor eating area punctuated by a lovely little fountain. The bedrooms are attractively furnished, comfortable and very clean. Five out of six have full attached bathrooms. All bedrooms are equipped with Wi-Fi and air conditioning, as is the main area of the house. The upstairs living/dining/den areas are elegant yet cozy at the same time and the entire back 'wall' of this floor is composed of large sliding glass doors that open onto a beautiful terrace running the length of the entire villa. There is a dining area and lounge on this upper terrace as well! The kitchen has every piece of equipment you can think of and if you're looking for the ultimate in extravagance, the owners will set you up with your own chef. They arranged for us a very personable French cook who prepared truly delicious, fresh meals that even our children were not afraid to eat. Sublime. Speaking of kids, families will find this home very child-safe. There are gates on stairways, the entire property is fenced-in (artfully disguised by beautiful flowers and foliage) and there is a smattering of children's furniture (highchair etc) available for use. We were also really comforted by the fact that the owners of this home are easily reached and are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be booking again and I encourage anyone interested in perfection to do the same!

Cette année, la météo a été parfaite et nous avons vraiment apprécié nos excursions à Bordeaux, Saint-Émilion, les grottes et le canoë sur la rivière du Auemant-du-Dropt. Nous aurons la chance de nous revoir l'année prochaine, dans seulement 50 semaines !

Nous sommes venus à la Maison Baleyssagues tant de fois et encore une fois, ce fut un moment merveilleux. Il y a tellement de choses pour s'y divertir et rassembler la famille. Je ne veux pas partir mais je dois rentrer à la maison.

What a fabulous find in the middle of sunflower fields ! Lovely hot weather, really appreciated the beautiful pool. The house is so well equipped and welcoming that it provided for a relaxing holiday. It was the perfect balance of great food, excellent company, a little sightseeing and a lot of relaxing by the pool, playing pool and generally chilling in style. Please can we come back...

The house is very well equipped and we found some great restaurants and good supermarket shopping in Fleurance, Lectoure and slightly further afield. A great week!
We had a lovely holiday here ! The place was beautifully quiet and well-equipped. Pau is definitely worth a visit with wonderful restaurants. We had a great stay and are heading home fully recharged.
Just returned from an outstanding holiday at the Orchard Farmhouse! The pool and grounds were just fantastic - it did help with three days at 30+ degrees! We (4 adults - 2 generations) spent a fantastic week in this super gîte. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and extremely well equipped. Outside, in the very large garden, was the lovely pool which was cleaned daily. The outside kitchen was lovely for BBQ's. There were also lots of seating areas, shaded and sunny, we were spoilt for choice. We walked to the bakery in the morning as the gîte is close to the village. The lovely owners were welcoming and helpful. Happy to recommend.
Many thanks for a wonderful week, we have so enjoyed this lovely house and the beautiful area around it, we wish we had more than a week to see more of what we wanted, we enjoyed the circular walk through the mixed pine forest, it’s very pretty and only 2 km long. We loved l Auberge du petit bistro in Vinsobres (a 2/3 minute drive), this was our favourite eating experience, while Vaison la Romain was lovely to visit. Many thanks for bringing us to all these wonderful experiences.
