Thank you so much for a wonderfully relaxing stay at your ‘Loft’. We have stayed here many times before under previous ownership, but we must say that you have moved it up several notches! The attention to detail is second to none; from the luxurious ‘The White Company’ products to all the goodies in the fridge and cupboards - very much appreciated. The terrace, garden and pool are just so peaceful that we haven’t ventured far! Most of all thank you for being there and for your wonderful company. We hope there will be many more visits to come. Good luck with your future project and we hope to be back very soon - you are doing an amazing job!

Wonderful family holiday, beautiful house and grounds and so much entertain for our 2 years old daughter. The highlight of our two weeks included a wine tour, visiting local markets, eating out and relaxing by the pool. We look forward to our return one day.
Quel merveilleux séjour nous avons passé dans cette magnifique villa. Nous ne pouvions sortir de la piscine car nous avons eu beaucoup de chance avec le temps. Les jouets gonflables de la piscine étaient fantastiques, les enfants et les adultes ont apprécié de se prélasser dans la piscine pendant des heures ! Nous avons passé de superbes soirées à Sarlat au « Pub » en regardant les artistes de rue. La villa est très bien équipée et aménagée, ce qui nous permet d'avoir notre propre espace ainsi qu'un espace où se regrouper. Nous espérons revenir l'année prochaine.
Véritablement la maison de vacances la plus magique et la plus enchanteresse dans laquelle nous ayons séjourné. Les vues sont paradisiaques, le design et les caractéristiques architecturales de la maison, si merveilleuses et uniques, sont dignes de la caverne des merveilles. La maison est si ouverte, lumineuse et spacieuse avec tant de charmants coins salons à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur qu'elle vous procure un sentiment de joie positive. Merci!
Awesome! Kids LOVED it. Beautiful grounds and so much space, also spotless clean. Very well equipped, even had sharp knives! Superb setting. Great BBQ. Help and good advice always available. Indian food was great! Lovely way to start the holiday after hours of driving! We have stayed at many holiday homes and this is right up there as one of, if not the best we have stayed at!
Le château et le parc sont magnifiques et bien entretenus. Les prestations sont excellentes. Des vacances fantastiques.
Nous sommes de retour à la maison après de très belles vacances en famille à la Maison Semoussac. Le temps était mitigé (la pluie était bien sûr de mise), mais cela ne nous a pas empêchés de nous amuser. Les enfants ont adoré courir sur le chemin en laissant des petites carottes dans l'espoir d'apercevoir des lièvres et cueillir des mûres, qui étaient abondantes. Les jouets et les livres des enfants étaient merveilleux et (étonnamment pour leur âge) ils ont adoré jouer au Monopoly ! Marian nous a également préparé de délicieux repas. Merci beaucoup.
A huge thank you for making us feel so welcome, we've had a wonderful week in your beautiful property. This has been by far the best house we have stayed in, full of history, character and the personal touch. The pool has been amazing. Evening barbecues have been the highlight. Your kind gift of wine, beers and charcuterie set us up well for the week.
Beautifully renovated, well equipped house, ideal for family / friends gathering. Three quite separate sets of 2 double/ twin bedrooms with en-suites and seating areas, so plenty of privacy. Well equipped kitchen (loads of fridge space) and separate bar / fridge/ dishwasher area. Plenty of seating and dining space both inside and out on two terraces. Kids loved the pool and outside space, playing volley ball in the garden. We enjoyed the views and quiet surroundings. My parents enjoyed the local towns and villages; and the cakes! Daily cleaning included by lovely housekeeper/ gardener who live next door. We didn't know they were there except when we needed them. The area is beautiful if you have the energy to travel, Beaune and Dijon are worth a visit and the nearby Couches with a lovely château has a delicious Patisserie / Boulangerie. We took the train from Chagny to Beaune to visit the Hospice and enjoyed a wine tasting. There are lots of vineyards to visit and taste at, we wished we'd organised some tours before we arrived as the owners can advise on this. You will not be disappointed booking this house, we have stayed in many houses in France over the last 30 years and this is undoubtedly the loveliest. We hope to return.
It's a must at Château Velouse! I have just returned from a fabulous reunion holiday of college friends, hosted at this beautiful Château Velouse. Situated in its own absolutely breathtaking grounds, of forest, fields and orchards, the land is vast enough for an early morning 5k circuit run, plus the wall to wall sunshine and a cooling swim in the beckoning outdoor pool of this gorgeous château, is a definite must for everyone! The inside of the château is something to marvel, with every bedroom individually named and decorated to the highest quality. A wonderful self catering holiday for our party of 14, gave us chance to meet with the excellent hosts Philip and Claire. Thank you both for making us all so welcome, we will certainly be returning in the not too distant future!
Le Malardier est exquis. Il est bien plus qu'une simple maison de vacances. Chaque pièce donne envie de pénétrer à l'intérieur. La maison a été restaurée avec beaucoup de soin et est clairement le résultat d'un travail fait avec amour. Richard et Gay étaient également des hôtes parfaits et n'auraient pas pu mieux nous accueillir. Si vous envisagez de réserver une semaine ou deux au Malardier, faites-le. Vous ne serez pas déçu.
We had a lovely stay at Claire’s beautiful place. It was very comfortable and you can see that someone has taken great care in decorating the place and choosing the best things. Would highly recommend.
Merci pour ce agréable séjour au Mas des Rivailles. Notre famille de cinq personnes y a séjourné pendant deux semaines en août 2023 et nous avons passé un très bon moment. Il est très spacieux et moderne, avec toutes les commodités nécessaires pour un séjour confortable. La température de la piscine était parfaite et nous avons trouvé l'eau salée assez agréable. Les transats et l'aménagement de la piscine permettent des moments de détente au bord de la piscine et nous avons apprécié particulièrement la très grande salle de jeux avec table de ping-pong, billard et baby-foot ainsi que de nombreux jouets pour nos trois enfants. Les chambres étaient propres et équipées de draps de qualité et de serviettes moelleuses ainsi que d'un espace de rangement suffisant pour nos affaires. La buanderie/cellier était également très utile pour stocker de la nourriture et laver nos vêtements facilement. Frédéric était serviable et attentif comme toujours et a rendu notre séjour très confortable, faisant venir des ventilateurs supplémentaires lorsque nous en avons fait la demande, car notre séjour coïncidait avec une vague de chaleur. La famille du propriétaire qui vit dans la ferme voisine était très sympathique et serviable et a répondu à tous nos problèmes. L'emplacement de la maison est également idéal pour explorer la région avec de nombreuses villes et activités intéressantes à quelques minutes en voiture. Nous le recommanderons certainement ! Thank you for a lovely week at the very beautiful Le Chambarru. We have all been able to relax and enjoy the peace, the wonderful views and even the spectacular thunderstorms in the evenings! A week is not long enough sadly.
Fabulous house on the edge of the village with magical views and absolute peace and privacy. We were thrilled to see so much wildlife, so many wonderful birds, butterflies, red squirrel and deer around the house. We flew into Limoges which is a tiny and very easy airport to manage. Car hire is just outside the exit, the roads are blissfully empty and the drive to Lusignac was a pleasure. We couldn't have had a better week.

What a wonderful stay we have had and what a special part of France! Olonzac market on a Tuesday was a real highlight. Kayaking at Puicheric was so much fun and the water was crystal clear for swimming. Narbonne and the market was quite a spectacle - such a fun and varied trip. Thank you for all the tips and for lending us your beautiful Loft.
The house and the grounds were fantastic. The rooms were all spacious and we particularly appreciated the bedroom set up with interlinking rooms from the nursery. We really enjoyed exploring the grounds and went for walks/runs. The children loved exploring the forest area The swimming pool was fantastic. Loungers etc. comfortable. The kids loved the swings, etc + the playroom was well stocked. Everything we needed was here. Catering service was delicious and we really appreciate you taking into account the intolerances. Very friendly service, nothing was too much to ask. The owners are never on top of us but there if needed. Much appreciated. Fantastic holiday, thank you.
Notre séjour s'est très bien déroulé, comme nous nous y attendions. La maison était très bien et avait tout le confort nécessaire. Nous avons été ravis de l'aide apportée par Sarah et Dan. Ils sont très attentionnés et serviables.

Nous avons passé deux semaines superbes dans votre belle maison. Elle est calme, propre et dispose de tout l'équipement nécessaire. Le grand jardin est agréable avec beaucoup d'ombre. Nous avons adoré aussi le tennis de table. Mais nous avons surtout aimé la piscine, par temps chaud.
We had an amazing stay at your wonderful house. The setting was wonderful and we had a truly relaxing time. The scenery was a joy. We also liked the beautiful village / hamlet with such a wonderful church. We met many French people who were exceptionally friendly. We cooked with all the fresh produce from the markets and ate outside surrounded by hay bales! Thank you for such an amazing week.
La villa s'est avérée être la maison idéale pour la semaine, car elle cochait de nombreuses cases : un sympathique propriétaire de villa qui parlait bien anglais, à dix minutes à pied de la plage et des restaurants, à cinq minutes à pied de la gare du Cros de Cagnes où vous pouvez prendre le train local pour Cannes en 24 minutes et Nice en 15 minutes - donc pas besoin de vous tracasser avec la location de voiture, un supermarché bien approvisionné à 10 minutes à pied, à distance de marche du bus gratuit jusqu'au magnifique village perché du Haut de Cagnes. Une villa propre et bien meublée, chaque pièce disposant de commandes individuelles pour les réglages de la climatisation... agréable lorsque vous rentrez d'une chaude journée ! De la glace à volonté dans l'immense réfrigérateur et une piscine à la bonne température, de jour comme de nuit.
We have so enjoyed our week here in our very own secret garden. Who would imagine there would be such a magical place waiting for us, just a second from the road? After many moments of uncertainty, it has been a huge tonic to relax in the sunshine in this beautiful garden and enjoy relaxing with our daughters. We haven’t explored very much beyond the Loft, but the countryside is beautiful, the wine and food delicious and the canoeing trip exhilarating and at times a little scary! Karen and Russell are the perfect hosts - always present but never in your space. They have created a perfect holiday home - immaculate and brilliantly equipped, and the fridge and cupboards generously filled to enhance your welcome and stay. We have enjoyed hours by the perfect pool and will fondly remember our 2021 say here. Hopefully we will be back! Thank you, Karen and Russell for everything.

Comfortable house on the edge of Seillans village with lovely views. Great terrace for outdoor eating and a lovely, well maintained pool. Air conditioning in the bedrooms was lovely and silent. Good location for exploring the area, though you could easily just stay put, relax, eat at the local restaurants and shop at the well stocked local Carrefour. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and fully intend to come back.
