Prior to arriving, dealing with Pete was easy and this continued with both him and Kate throughout our stay. We’d been in Avignon for week before where it was very hot, this continued in Curzon but the house was lovely and cool throughout. We all had no trouble sleeping which meant we weren’t able to take advantage of the pool for the first morning as we all slept in. When we did get out there, it was wonderful. As a family of 4 we were able to relax and have fun round the pool all day every day if we wanted, including cooking lunch and dinner on the gas BBQ in the outside kitchen which we made full use of. Facilities in the house were great and we relaxed quickly, taking advantage of the welcome package of goodies. We explored the surrounding villages and towns which were in easy reach and a 10 minute drive for bread each morning or a full shop meant we could simply pop out and get something for dinner/breakfast. They really looked after us and each morning we woke to a clean pool and surroundings, including towels waiting for us. We felt truly spoilt during our stay and could have easily booked 3 weeks or more and I imagine Pete and Kate will be managing full summers for a while to come. Thank you Pete and Kate for a memorable stay!
Thank you so much for the most amazing weeks stay in Piglet Barn. We honestly had the best time, a perfect family holiday. Thank you for being the most welcoming, warm and charming hosts, you looked after us so well. Thank you for drinks in your home, it was so much fun. We are going to miss our walks around Vouvant and morning coffee in the village. Thank you again so much for being the most amazing hosts, it was a holiday we will never forget. We hope to come back soon !
Very nice accommodation with a huge living room. The proximity to the canal is the charm of the charm of the house.
Nous utilisons régulièrement Pure France depuis de nombreuses années et nous avons toujours séjourné dans de fabuleuses villas très bien situées. Cependant, nous pensons que la Maison des Communes vient de relever la barre pour nous en termes de qualité de la villa avec ses nombreux bâtiments séparés et son mobilier exotique. La piscine était super et parfaitement alignée pour profiter du soleil du Languedoc et de l'Occitanie toute la journée. Et l'accueil des propriétaires nous a vraiment fait sentir les bienvenus et valorisés en tant que clients. Ils nous ont même aidés à porter nos bagages depuis la voiture ! Nous avons été tellement impressionnés que moins de 24 heures après notre arrivée, nous avons déjà réservé pour l'année prochaine. Nous avons hâte d'y retourner. 5 / 5
Maison Bourg Calès is most definitely a five-star property. It is a beautiful property, both inside and outside, beautifully clean and fully equipped with everything you could possible need for a wonderful holiday. We also really appreciated the extra touches - the bottle of own label wine that awaited us, the basket full of towels for the pool and the store cupboard of kitchen essentials. We loved the saltwater pool. We would happily recommend it to anyone wishing to holiday in the Dordogne and looking for a well-located, high quality property.

Lovely private pool and terrace with comfortable accommodation in a picturesque village. Hosts were discrete but friendly and very helpful. The restaurant a short stroll away is definitely worth a visit. Nice walks on the doorstep.

Favourite Moment: Staying in the pool in the afternoons with wildlife, cheese and wine for dinner! Just to let you know we had a terrific holiday in Provence and the weather, of course, was wonderful. Many thanks again and we would certainly recommend the villa and the region to anyone who wants a good holiday.
The house was the perfect setting for our party of 8. The bedrooms were all a good size and with 3 bathrooms and great air conditioning they were perfect. The indoor kitchen and dining area are huge and are the best equipped we have ever had. The outside areas are just outstanding. We used the bbq a couple of times and ate outside every evening. The table tennis was fab and we developed a great love for darts! The pool is to die for. In terms of the area, Collins bar is a 5/10 minute drive away and is open from 5pm for drinks on a hilltop. We had a meal and wine tasting at Logeril (Pennautier) which we loved. There are plenty of pizzerias a short drive away. Clearly a car or two are required
Magical, inviting, soothing, AMAZING! The villa was truly magical, while also invoking a sense of home. The community areas are large enough that you never feel crowded and there are several places to "hide" within the property for true soul searching/peace with a magnificent view at every turn. Very well maintained and quaint restaurants/shops just a short walk away, but not too close(you still feel tucked away). HIGHLY recommend!!

Peter and I just returned from our holiday in France and I wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our week at les Marquises! The property is just lovely- the views from the terrace and the master bath really are stunning. The kitchen was a pleasure to use, everything one needed was provided. I know you did nt arrange this but the weather was superb-sun and very warm temps every day. It was a pleasure to return to the pool and cool off with a view of the vineyards! We even got to see the grape harvest in the fields directly behind the pool! We found the location perfect -close to Nyons but super quiet and private. This charming home is cleverly decorated and very comfortable. I also found booking with Pure France wonderful- fast replies, easy payment and most helpful responses to any questions I had. Thank you again for the opportunity to stay at this unique property and to explore a beautiful part of Provence. A la prochaine!
Excellent. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Tout est fait pour passer d’agréable vacances, de l'accueil chaleureux des propriétaires, aux prestations de la villa parfaitement équipée et agencée. Des vacances en famille mémorables, dont nous nous souviendront toujours.
Nous avons séjourné du 22 au 29 juillet 2023 dans Les Trois Maisons de Valescure. 4 générations, 19 personnes. Notre séjour a été très agréable, randonnées magnifiques, visites - Cotignac est une petite merveille, comme sur les cartes postales - piscine, tant sur le plan logistique qu'environnement. Équipements parfaits pour la vingtaine que nous étions. Thomas a contribué à la réussite de notre séjour grâce à so attention et sa réactivité efficace, excellente communication.

As a group of 7 from age 2 to 62 and having had similar holidays in recent years this has been the best. Wonderfully well equipped with thoughtful advice everywhere. Everybody loved the pool and there are plenty to things to see and do in the area, thanks again.
Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse dans cette magnifique propriété. Les hôtes étaient extrêmement serviables et accueillants. La maison est incroyable - beau mélange d'ancien et de moderne. Portes et plafonds à double hauteur impressionnants. Très spacieux et bien aménagé. Les enfants se sont bien amusés à nager dans la piscine. Les jardins sont charmants - nous avons aimé le hamac et la balançoire. Nous avons également utilisé la table de tennis. La maison et le terrain sont très privés et isolés. Nous avions une belle vue sur les champs de tournesols environnants. Nous recommandons vivement cette propriété aux familles.
Un grand merci pour des vacances merveilleuses et très relaxantes dans votre belle maison. Tout était super, surtout les livraisons de pain tôt le matin ! Nous réserverons certainement à nouveau pour revenir à la Maison des Communes plus tard. Merci!
We have just returned from a wonderful break at 'Maison Lemance'. We were a multi generational group of 8 and the house worked perfectly for us with various inside and outside places to sit. It's a beautifully well-cared for house in a tranquil location and had everything we needed for our stay. The pool was sparkling clean and had plenty of loungers for relaxation time. The owner Sam was extremely welcoming and available for any queries. Our only regret was to not have the chance to try one of her yoga classes.
Thank you for being such wonderful hosts and for making our stay so relaxing and enjoyable. Your Loft is superb - the best rental property we have stayed in complete with an excellent and safe swimming pool and large garden, which it was very nice to play hide and seek in. Everything was beautifully laid out with amazing attention to detail and very well equipped. We have had a great two weeks here.
We were able to have a great week with friends at this house, which matched the photos perfectly. The host is very accommodating and accommodating. Amenities are complete, different living spaces are spacious, the pool area is a real plus. I'd recommend it!
