Panoramic views of the countryside and a short drive to a local village where we could get all of our suppliers, every aspect of the stay was catered for and a stunning pool. So peaceful and tranquil, we didn’t want to leave. Just perfect.
Nous faisons écho aux commentaires de vos précédents invités dans votre belle maison et votre jardin. L'attente a été longue avant d'arriver ici, mais cela en valait la peine. Tant de vignobles, tant de châteaux mais si peu de temps. L'un de nos souvenirs impérissables restera d'avoir eu pied au milieu de la Loire sur le lit de la rivière. Nous espérons que la rivière reviendra bientôt.
It has been fun cooking and eating out on the terrace with the wonderful views.

À la fin de longues vacances bien remplies un peu partout en France, la propriété a été un bel endroit où se détendre. Les jardins et la piscine sont parfaits, les propriétaires étaient sympathiques et serviables. Maison très propre, bien agencée, confortable. Assez proche pour aller où l'on voulait le long de la Côte d'Azur, mais paisible quand on voulait se ressourcer. Une semaine n'a pas suffit. Je reviendrai certainement ici si nous voyageons à nouveau en France.
Un accueil très sympathique. Le lieu est très calme tout en permettant les visites des sites touristiques. La cuisine est très bien équipée. Nous avons apprécié de découvrir l'histoire familiale (qui gère le musée Napoléon tout proche)
Amazing! is the word. The Loft itself, you as hosts and the location. Our week has been wonderful and made all the better due to the exceptional care and attention you both put into this special place. Your warmth and hospitality exceeds expectations - we cannot thank you enough. We will look forward to returning to continue exploring.

We had the most amazing stay with some friends in Château Entre-Deux-Mers. I was delighted by the charm of this château. The exterior is traditional. There is a lovely garden with swimming pool. We have some good memories taking an appetizer in the evenings outside! The rooms were spacious and decorated with a superb taste. But most of all : it's situated in the middle of vineyards; so great to do some cycling (bikes are available). So we can certainly recommend this place!
Absolument rien à dire. Prestation de qualité et personnes charmantes et dévouées. Je vous conseille cet endroit avec un point de vue à vous couper le souffle. Maison de qualité meublée avec beaucoup de charme et de gout.
We had an excellent stay in this beautiful house, charming and perfectly equipped. The swimming pool is very pleasant, the rooms to live and the rooms offer a very comfortable atmosphere. We were won over.
La villa a été tout ce que nous espérions et bien plus encore. L’hébergement est superbe, tout comme les équipements. Quel plaisir de pouvoir bénéficier des livraisons de petit-déjeuner (à choisir et commander). Le gâteau au citron était délicieux. Nous recommandons vivement le marché du mardi à Clairac. Notre semaine a été TRÈS CHAUDE – nous avons donc bien profité de la magnifique piscine. Nous avons aimé nous promener et faire du vélo jusqu’à Mauvezin. Les commerçants y étaient tous très sympathiques et accueillants. La villa était parfaite pour notre famille de 8 personnes. Nous la recommandons sans hésiter. Merci beaucoup Philippe, hôte et traducteur exceptionnel !
We had a lovely holiday here ! The place was beautifully quiet and well-equipped. Pau is definitely worth a visit with wonderful restaurants. We had a great stay and are heading home fully recharged.
Well, what can we say other than we have had a ball and our 'musicals' night with you both will enter the folklore of the families. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality, friendship and laughs - what a holiday! We've loved every minute of our holiday. The Loft is superb in every aspect. Beautiful, very well kept and maintained. Amazing for kids Stunning pool and poolside, children's toy room was perfect for boys and girls, a great range of toys. All extra bedding, baby products etc; great. Fab daily service, friendly. Great local advice. Very easy, relaxing process. You both have a lovely manner with all guests which made the stay very enjoyable.
Week-end entre amies. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. La maison de David et Kirstie est magnifique. L’environnement est très calme et reposant. La maison est très grande, les chambres sont spacieuses, la literie confortable. Chaque chambre est équipée d’une salle de bain. David et Kirstie sont des hôtes très à l’écoute et disponibles. Je recommande.
Merci pour ces merveilleuses vacances reposantes. Votre maison, vos jardins et les environs sont tous spectaculaires. Nous avons beaucoup aimé pique-niquer dans l'arrière jardin et nos enfants ont adoré la cabane dans les arbres. Les temps forts ont été le marché de Saumur le samedi matin. Le dîner à La Licorne Fontervaud, le Château d'Ussé, le Zoo BioParc de Doce et les jardins du Château de Villandry. Aussi une visite avec les enfants de l'autre côté de la route pour voir les lapins à l'invitation de vos sympathiques voisins. Merci beaucoup.
La Maison Capitelle a dépassé nos attentes. Un séjour vraiment agréable.

This is a very peaceful and relaxing place, it was interesting watching the wine growers gathering their grape harvest, lots of beautiful scenery, places to visit and some lovely restaurants. We enjoyed cooking at the house with the very well equipped kitchen and some very nice decor touches around the house. A fantastic introduction to this part of France. We will return.

We all had an amazing time here this week, this house is gorgeous with an amazing pool, fantastic views. We had amazing times at Les Chapoux taking in the beautiful buildings and all the nice restaurants. The hosts were welcoming and gave us a lovely tour of the house. We spent countless hours by the pool soaking in the sun. Thank you so much for this lovely stay.

Where can we begin to tell you how wonderful your warmth and kindness have made our holiday so special at your beautiful Le Chambarru. Your renovations and thoughtful kitchen cooking utensils have such taste and quality that we all enjoyed cooking. The location has proven geographical delight. Gordon family and Mullaly family Thank you for letting us stay in this lovely farmhouse. The best days of the holiday were spent here in the farmhouse by the pool. The teens loved the gym and the tennis court. Such a lovely location. Much local excitement when the Tour de France (femmes) passed the driveway. What a fabulous day! Enjoyed the wine tour and our 2 meals out in Richelieu. The view from the terrace is exceptional and such a good place to drink coffee and welcome the morning or indeed the evening. Great family team here to spend much for a great visit.
Deux semaines super dans cette charmante villa. Emplacement fantastique pour explorer la région de Marseillan. Mèze est un must, super déjeuner chez Noilly Prat, café à Mèze. Nous avons passé de nombreuses heures heureuses dans la grande piscine. Merci.
Un accueil chaleureux de Frédéric qui nous a fait nous sentir comme à la maison. Nous nous sommes rapidement installés dans votre belle villa et dans ce cadre magnifique. La piscine était magnifique et a été appréciée de tous. Nous n'hésiterons pas à recommander la propriété à d'autres. Bella : C'était les meilleures vacances de ma vie ! (8 ans).
We liked it so much last year we came back to enjoy being at this most beautiful place – a little piece of paradise. It’s been very hot but the house is cool (and so comfortable) and the pool and the dining terrace make it perfect. Thanks to Mark and Janet for making it so lovely. We’ll be sad to leave.
