Perfect for a relaxing holiday. First impressions were better than the photographs. We wanted a relaxing family holiday after a very hectic year and that is what we experienced. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful but left you completely alone unless you needed something. The villa itself is spotless, beautifully laid out and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Outside is incredibly peaceful and we spend the majority of our time by the pool.. Yet although it feels beautifully isolated it is in fact only minutes from shops and lotes of things to see and dol Will definitely return if we are able.

What can I say but awesome. We all arrived at the same time to drive up the long drive to the picturesque château. Obviously we had seen pictures but they did not do it justice. We were met with a glass of bubbly and were shown around the property. It was like being shown around a personal home rather than a holiday rental property. There was everything you could want for a relaxing holiday for our two families, including a tennis court, swimming pool, snooker / pool table, croquet set and the all important ice machine as we were in the middle of a heat wave. All the rooms were luxurious with all but one bedroom (which had it's own bathroom) having ensuite bathrooms and the two main bedrooms having dressing rooms as well. The grounds were spectacular and there was even gorgeous little chapel. The best endorsement I can give is that we were all discussing how we could come back next year. We have had a brilliant stay - The villa is fantastic- kids have spent house in the pool and learning to play pool. Everyone has enjoyed it so much it feels a real wrench to leave. Hope we can visit again some time.
The house was great - please thank the owners for putting together such a lovely experience. As you know, we all had a very good time, and there were no real quibbles from our perspective. It’s a wonderful place to spend a couple of weeks
Le Malardier est exquis. Il est bien plus qu'une simple maison de vacances. Chaque pièce donne envie de pénétrer à l'intérieur. La maison a été restaurée avec beaucoup de soin et est clairement le résultat d'un travail fait avec amour. Richard et Gay étaient également des hôtes parfaits et n'auraient pas pu mieux nous accueillir. Si vous envisagez de réserver une semaine ou deux au Malardier, faites-le. Vous ne serez pas déçu.
This was our second visit to Villa Kali. It remains the best of all our summer visits to France. The villa is so well appointed and well placed for easy access to the superb area. It is extremely well looked after by both the owner and her local staff. The provision of everything one needs makes for a very relaxed holiday. We had no hesitation in booking this accommodation again and would not look elsewhere on subsequent visits. Most definitely a 5 from both of us.

We loved the site; very peaceful and relaxing, despite the suburban setting. Everything you need is here! Pézenas is a beautiful place and we also liked Meze, Tourbes and especially enjoyed kayaking down the Hérault river.
Ma famille y a passé un séjour formidable. Nous avons 2 jeunes enfants (âgés de 1 et 5 ans) et l'appartement était propre, sécurisé, avec des appareils modernes (y compris un lave-linge/sèche-linge), une vue sur l'océan et une belle piscine à débordement sur le toit. Les chambres ont un bon volume, faciles à utiliser, avec contrôle de la température, climatisation et stores occultants. Un lit bébé et une chaise haute étaient disponibles dans l'appartement. Il y a un grand supermarché/magasin de l'autre côté de la rue et l'appartement donne directement sur la promenade de la plage, donc il est facile de se rendre à pied à la marina et aux restaurants de plage. J'espère que nous pourrons revenir bientôt.
Wow ! Totally surpassed our expectations. The attention to detail is amazing. This place is truly unique, the decor and furnishings are beautiful. The outside space is spectacular. I could ramble on for hours about our stay, not to mention all the incredible things to do in the surrounding area.

Thank you both so much for a magical 5-night stay. We have absolutely loved staying here and will miss it when we go home! The gîte is amazing, beautiful inside and out. We really appreciate all of your efforts for making our stay so comfortable. Such a lovely touch having fresh bread, eggs and veg from your garden waiting for us - perfect. Nous y avons récemment passé un séjour très mémorable et agréable. Cette propriété luxueuse est confortable, bien présentée et très propre. Les vues depuis la propriété sont exceptionnelles et la piscine à l'horizon est le rêve de tout le monde. L'emplacement offre un accès aisé à Saint Paul de Vence et à la région environnante et constitue donc une base idéale pour découvrir les sites locaux.
Merci de nous avoir accueillis dans cette belle maison. Nous avons tous beaucoup apprécié, tout était parfait. Nous avions tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Pézenas est une ville magnifique. Nous avons adoré l'explorer et séjourner ici.

We wanted to find a location that provided peace and tranquillity and allow us all to pause for a while. We sought comfort, privacy and nature and found it all and more at La Metairie de Mespoule. We have just spent two wonderful weeks in late July and early August under the life giving sun of South Western France. We explored the beautiful villages, we ate in a raft of superb restaurants and we came back each day to the enjoy the tranquillity offered by the Metairie. The accommodation is perfect for a family holiday, the kitchen / living area is perfectly appointed and the outside terrace much used by us all. The naturally heated pool is an inspired choice and proved to be very popular with us all as did the BBQ area, the table tennis and an evening game of pétanque on the gravelled driveway. Catherine and Jono are perfect hosts offering as much or as little support and guidance as required – we opted for a private wine tour which was fabulous. We give the strongest of recommendations for anyone looking for a perfectly relaxing holiday.
The house is located very quietly, there are sunflower fields all around and no other houses nearby. We really enjoyed the peaceful environment. A great location for a relaxed vacation.
