Just back from a week's stay at Villa La Baronne. I understand this is a newly renovated property and it is very clear that no expense has been spared on the project. It is a large property that could suit more than one family or a group of friends and can sleep up to 14 people. Every detail has been lovingly considered and stylishly executed. Bedrooms are beautifully appointed with elegant furnishings and comfortable beds. The house has been designed to offer endless activities both inside and out. We were lucky with the weather for October and so were able to use the huge and stunning Swimming Pool, the Jacuzzi, Pétanque pitch and the specially installed Croquet Lawn. In the evening, we took advantage of the cinema and games room, playing pool, table football, ping pong, chess and darts. A brilliant house for families with teens! There is even a huge TV, especially for use with games consoles. The house has a beautiful kitchen, fully equipped with every gadget you could require. Although we didn't use it, there is also a BBQ for evenings on the huge terrace. The property is situated on the banks of the River Tarn and is surrounded by beautiful mature trees and a large garden. It was a very quick and easy drive from the airport and local amenities for food shopping. The local village, a ten-minute walk away, was very quiet but does have a pleasant local restaurant and within a few minutes by car you can access larger towns. In less than 40 minutes we reached Toulouse centre and the beautiful town of Albi and I gather there are many other attractions within an hour from the property. Although we were briefly aware of a party at the neighbouring property, we found the location very peaceful, with lovely dark skies at night for star gazing. The Wi-Fi was extremely good and there is plenty of parking. All in all we would highly recommend this property, which is of the highest quality. Our thanks to the charming hosts.
Nous avons passé une quinzaine de jours fantastiques à la Villa Bellara en juin 2023. La propriété était impeccable et nous a fait nous sentir instantanément chez nous. Notre groupe était composé de trois couples et d'un bébé, mais la villa est si grande que chaque couple avait son propre étage avec une pièce inutilisée. Chaque chambre climatisée avait accès à une salle de bain et un dressing. La cuisine est grande et bien équipée pour cuisiner et préparer des boissons et des collations. Nous avons également utilisé le barbecue à gaz Weber. Nous n'avons jamais eu de piscine chauffée en France auparavant ; nous l'avons utilisé tous les jours et nous nous sommes détendus sur les trois terrasses isolées. Nous avons visité Cros De Cagnes à plusieurs reprises et pouvons recommander la région aux vacanciers qui ne souhaitent pas louer de voiture. La villa est située dans un quartier résidentiel calme mais à seulement 15 minutes à pied du front de mer avec ses bars et restaurants. Il y a un supermarché à proximité et plusieurs boulangeries à quelques pas. Vous pouvez facilement accéder au train ou au bus pour des trajets vers Nice ou au-delà. Le propriétaire Jean Luc était extrêmement hospitalier et a pris le temps de nous expliquer tous les aspects de la Villa. Il a précisé que nous pouvions le contacter si le moindre problème survenait. Nous recommandons vivement la Villa Bellara et espérons revenir à l'avenir.

ET, comment pourrait-il en être autrement, nous devons dire que les jours que nous avons passés ici ont été des jours heureux, calmes, confortables et très, très relaxante. Wonderful holiday in this beautiful and stylish home! The house has been refurbished to a very high specification and the bedrooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are luxuriously contemporary. The kitchen is impressively well equipped. There is so much to do in the area which is steeped in history and blessed with natural beauty. The Roman ruins at Vaison are a must- see. We were amazed to find the largest archaeological site in France just down the road and the medieval town, on the other side of the river, with its winding streets, is charming. We found it hard to tear ourselves away from the stunning views and the peace and tranquility of the gardens and pool but outings to the hilltop villages of Seguret and Venasque and a wine tasting in Gigondas or Châteauneuf du Pape are experiences not to be missed!
We have had a very relaxing and restful week here, with perfect weather. We loved the pool, playing table tennis and darts. The house has everything you could need and we have enjoyed having so much space inside and out! The surrounding area has lots to offer – Chauvigny is beautiful (we recommend The VeloRail) and we spent a wonderful afternoon kayaking at Angles sur L’Anglin.

We enjoyed a lovely week at Le Chanlie; the house is set in wonderful, quiet surroundings and is beautifully furnished. Everything was in place to make us feel very welcome on our arrival. We had a couple of questions following arrival and the owner was really prompt in providing helpful guidance and again welcoming us to the property. The information pack provided at the property was very detailed and was invaluable in terms of guidance on local amenities and made great suggestions for places to visit in the area. Our young daughter was well catered for with plenty of toys and books to keep her amused when the weather didn't allow us to enjoy the outside spaces. Similarly the house has a large collection of games and DVDs for adults too! Overall a really enjoyable week and we would jump at the chance to return!

Nous serions ravis de revenir x Nous avons passé une semaine incroyable ici à la Maison La Pérouse. Oscar et Olive ont tous deux adoré explorer le jardin. Oscar a particulièrement aimé jouer à cache-cache dans les bois, faire des tours sur le trampoline et repérer les poissons dans l'étang. La piscine a été fantastique et nous avons adoré les nuits ensoleillées le soir dans le jardin. Merci Sue, Pat et Amber pour votre merveilleuse hospitalité et vos recommandations. Merci pour ce séjour agréable.

Notre première visite a eu lieu en 2010 pendant deux semaines en mai. Ces nouvelles vacances d'une semaine était des vacances de Noël en famille longtemps retardées. La maison est charmante, bien entretenue et confortable. L'emplacement est parfait pour se rendre à pied aux cafés et restaurants locaux, aux magasins, au magnifique marché du samedi et aux sites historiques et architecturaux de la ville. En dehors de la ville, à seulement 15 à 30 minutes en voiture, se trouvent de nombreux châteaux, jardins, musées, sites préhistoriques avec des peintures rupestres et bien plus encore. Il y a tant de choses à faire et une maison agréable où rentrer. Jackie était une hôte merveilleuse.
Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment et pensons sérieusement à revenir l'année prochaine.
It's been such a privilege to stay in your beautiful home. Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to enjoy it. We enjoyed experiencing the art, the atmosphere, the views and the comfort. We really appreciated your very generous gift of wine and provisions. The village is lively and we have made good use of all it has to offer. terrific choice of the alimentation, delightful terrace and delicious food at the Bar de Prores and a timely haivent at Tiffany's Satin. We recommend a trip to Uzes, Nîmes and Avignon and had a delicious lunch on the banks of the Gardon at Colias on the way to the Pont du Gard. Also, do try the real wine from La Grappe d'Or in the village.
Vous avez transformé ce bâtiment en une maison des plus merveilleuses et, plus encore, en une maison accueillante et confortable, nous nous sentons privilégiés d'y avoir séjourné. Il ne nous manquait rien (sauf peut-être un peu plus de soleil et un peu moins de vent). Tous ceux qui nous y ont rejoint ont exprimé leur même appréciation. Merci beaucoup. Just wanted to say what a great three weeks we’ve had at Le Grand Verger. The house is superb… we are looking at a repeat holiday, returning next year Once again, an outstanding holiday in outstanding surroundings, thank you!
Please accept our thanks and appreciation for this wonderful home in Homps. It was perfect in everyway. Location, space inside the home, outside space and pool. The kitchen had everything including spices and cleaning supplies. Pool towels were supplied and appliances all worked well. Five stars according to the family. They would love to return!!
Lots of space for 3 generations of family. Kids loved pool house brilliant and they loved playing in grounds. Playroom kept kids entertained. Lots of toys and videos. Excellent. Gas BBQ was fab. Lovely cooker and dishwasher, tumble dryer made for easy holiday. Takayla and Nick excellent hosts, great welcome and nice to know they are on hand for any problems. Would come back again.
A big 'Thank You' for your hospitality at the Loft du Vigneron. We’ve had a wonderful time and enjoyed ourselves a great deal and we will cherish the memories of our week in Rieux-Minervois.
Steven and Bruce have a fantastic place and they really went the extra mile to make our stay totally enjoyable. We've been staying at places in France for 20 or so years and we always come back fairly pleased, but perhaps with one or two thoughts about how something or other could have been better, but I think this is the first time we've come back and been unable to think of anything that was less than perfect.
We had a wonderful stay at the beautiful Maison Des Vignobles. The house was very comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. It is in a beautiful and quiet setting amongst the vineyards with wonderful views. We spent our days in the pool, kayaking on the river and exploring the local towns. The owner was on hand should we need anything and was very helpful with recommendations and bookings. It was a perfect choice for our family holiday.
Just wanted to say how much we loved staying at your amazing house. Not only was it kitted out with everything we needed it was utterly beautiful, in the most amazing spot and with just about the perfect stay for our family. You clearly spent a lot of time and effort making it just right, and you're also given us a few ideas as we are about to embark on our back garden's overhaul... Thanks again.

Great vacation spent in Le Mas de Combet! Quiet house in the countryside with a superb pool. We were able to enjoy all the amenities on site. Thank you to our host for their excellent welcome and availability throughout the stay. We really recommend this property for a week with friends.

Nous avons passé des vacances fantastiques au Manoir de Levesque. Le jardin était idéal pour que nos enfants et notre chien puissent jouer et explorer et la piscine était bel et bien utilisée tous les jours, même les jours les plus frais grâce au chauffage ! Les gonflables en cadeau de bienvenue ont été très apprécié et fait énormément plaisir. L'espace barbecue offre une superbe vue en soirée. Nous avons séjourné dans le manoir principal et avons apprécié le caractère et le charme de la propriété, tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Un merci spécial à Tracey qui a préparé plusieurs repas au manoir pour que nous puissions en profiter sans avoir à conduire jusqu'au restaurant. Nous nous sommes aventurés à l'extérieur à quelques reprises et recommandons vivement le restaurant Le Lac à Argenton, d'autant plus qu'il accueille les chiens en terrasse. Elanor, Roger et Tracey ont vraiment répondu à tous nos besoins et nous ont bien recommandé sur les choses à faire ainsi que réglé tout problème rencontré. C'était nos premières vacances en famille depuis que le Covid a réduit nos vacances régulières habituelles à l'étranger. L'emplacement et la facilité d'accès pour nous depuis Jersey font désormais des vacances dans une maison en location dans la Loire une alternative très attrayante aux voyages internationaux, et nous nous sentions assez en sécurité partout où nous allions avec les mesures en place, mais aussi grâce à la possibilité de restez loin de la foule et passez du temps en famille dans une belle propriété. Nous le referons très certainement.
