Exquisitely renovated French manor house. This house was exquisitely restored with close attention to period detail. It is perfectly curated and integrated with antique fixtures and objects d'art as well all the modern comforts you could want. The kitchen is one of the most well equipped I have ever stayed in so the owners must be cooks. There are lovely spots to sit throughout the gardens with comfortable furnishings. The house itself is perfect for large families or a selection of couples. The location is ideal for touring Chagny, Beaune and the rest of Burgundy. Sigrid was incredibly responsive, helpful, flexible and kind. I can not recommend the home and Sigrid highly enough. We had a completely charming and comfortable stay. Thank you again for sharing your lovely home.

Maison Palatini was just perfect – we really had a most wonderful, relaxing stay. The house is beautiful and so well equipped and a great location just a stroll from the fascinating old town of Pézenas
La Maison Forgeron est une maison fantastique, quatre grandes chambres avec salles de bain, beaucoup d'espace commun, un joli jardin avec une superbe piscine. La maison est élégamment décorée et extrêmement bien équipée. En somme, une destination parfaite pour s'y rassembler en famille.
Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour et nous n'avons rien trouvé à redire à la propriété. Une très agréable expérience. L'intérieur était impeccable et moderne, la cuisine était bien équipée et facile à utiliser, l'espace salon et salle à manger étaient propices à la détente et les chambres extrêmement confortables. Les vues à l'extérieur sont vraiment magnifiques, parfait pour profiter de la terrasse en prennant un bain de soleil ou en mangeant à l'extérieur, sans oublier la piscine à débordement pour se rafraîchir. Dans l'ensemble, un séjour très relaxant.
We enjoyed the house, pool and garden. We took a private boar charter on the canal. We visited restaurants and enjoyed using the 'running track' around the garden.
Une villa merveilleuse et un hôte formidable. Nous avons passé des vacances incroyables à la Maison des Communes et visité les environs. Délicieux repas au restaurant de la Tour et Pica Pica à Béziers. Un peu de vélo agréable et beaucoup de détente au bord de la piscine (la piscine a été parfaitement entretenue par l'hôte). La livraison du petit-déjeuner était aussi un vrai régal ! Merci.
Without a doubt, this is the most peaceful and relaxing holiday we have ever had. Such a beautiful setting with everything we needed - even to keep our 3 boys entertained. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise.
Lovely spacious house. We loved staying here! The rooms were lovely and spacious and the bed was big and comfortable :-) The location was really good to. We enjoyed going down to the riverside cafe, kayaking on the river, cycling, sightseeing, eating! We would definitely come back.

Thank you so much Thierry and Véronique for making us so welcome in your beautiful house. We've thoroughly enjoyed a mixture of exploring and relaxing. Highlights have included the great week in Chauvigny (as well as exploring the medieval town), canoeing along a scenic stretch of the river at Angles sur L’Anglin, and exploring the châteaux. Afterwards, a day trip to Poitiers and an excellent visit to Futuroscope. We finished each day relaxing in the pool and playing boules. All in all, a wonderful week in a beautiful area.
It seems but a moment since we arrived two weeks ago, but we have had a lovely time. Thank you for your hospitality and wonderful company. What a pity we couldn’t come in June, but we are optimistic about next year. It feels much safer here in France than it does in England - we saw much more of Rieux than we have before, and have had some splendid meals. Our favourite is definitely l’Abbaye de Fontfroide, though Relais de Chantovent comes a close second. Until next June.
This place is truly magical. It’s clean and spacious with scenic surroundings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and couldn’t recommend it enough!
We would like to very highly recommend this grand idillic property in the tranquil rural setting of the Lot Valley. The quietness and peacefulness of the house and grounds is the perfect place to completely unwind, to read, draw, play boules, table tennis or relax with the family by the poolside area. The market town of Villeréal was particularly vibrant and trips into the Dordogne to Beynac for example is only an hour away. There is an abundance of local wines and vineyards to visit with exquisite cheeses and bread from the local markets. A thoroughly enjoyable holiday. We have returned totally refreshed and relaxed!
Merci de partager votre belle maison avec nous. Quel honneur de passer du temps dans cette partie du monde si spéciale, un petit coin de paradis entouré de vignes, de tournesols et de lavande. Nous avons bu du vin délicieux et mangé beaucoup trop de fromage. Merci Frédéric d'avoir pris soin de nous et de nous avoir amené quelques ventilateurs pour apaiser la chaleur. Nous avons hâte de revenir un jour bientôt.
Loved seeing you both and was so much fun to enjoy Jenn's cooking, sunshines, minerals, highlights was the little mountain restaurant of giving French to French people. Thank you for having us!

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine à la Maison Lemance en août. Nous étions deux familles avec des enfants adultes et nos partenaires, mais il y avait encore beaucoup d'espace pour tout le monde. Le grand jardin et la terrasse étaient idéaux pour dîner à l'extérieur et se détendre autour de la piscine au soleil, ainsi que pour des activités plus énergiques telles que le tennis de table, le badminton et la pétanque. Sans pollution lumineuse, il y avait de superbes étoiles la nuit. La maison était bien équipée pour accueillir et répondre aux besoins de notre grand groupe. Pour ceux qui voulaient s'éloigner de la piscine, il y avait beaucoup à faire, notamment des marchés nocturnes animés et des excursions à Bergerac et Cahors. Sam était une hôte formidable et a été très serviable et arrangeante avant et pendant notre séjour.
We all had a wonderful holiday and the accommodation suited us so well, we were very lucky with the weather and the pool was perfect, such a great place to relax. We enjoyed eating outside looking at the wonderful views to the Mediterranean.

Superbe propriété avec tout le confort. Nous avons passé une semaine en juillet 2023 en famille et avons adoré la beauté de ce domaine. La piscine à débordement, le jacuzzi et la table de ping-pong ont fait la joie des enfants. Le parc arboré offre un bel espace de détente et de promenade. We have had the most delightful holiday! It began with your friendly and welcoming e-mails well before we got here! We have self-catered across Europe in some pretty good places but none quite so lovely as 'The Loft'. The way you prepared it for our arrival, and your warm and generous welcome was simply stunning! We have since enjoyed the quality and comfort of this 'home from home', and your thoughtful attention to all those little details that have made our stay so very special. Our celebration 'bubbly' and delicious cake was a complete surprise and a real treat. We have wondered how it has taken us quite so long to discover the Languedoc, Occitanie! From our all too brief stay we have seen some of the most beautiful countryside, enjoyed the wines and food and visited some of the prettiest towns and villages (many thanks for the suggestion of the Sunday market at Saint-Chinian - what a delight!). We have no doubt that we'll be back and thank you again so much for making us feel so welcome.
I stayed in this stunning house in May this year. It is beautifully presented and very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. It has the added benefits of an outdoor swimming pool and a games room. The owner has gone to great lengths to make this a home away from home! It hides behind pretty old stone walls, just a few steps from the centre of the beautiful historic town of Pezenas. I am looking forward to returning in the future!
