What can I say but awesome. We all arrived at the same time to drive up the long drive to the picturesque château. Obviously we had seen pictures but they did not do it justice. We were met with a glass of bubbly and were shown around the property. It was like being shown around a personal home rather than a holiday rental property. There was everything you could want for a relaxing holiday for our two families, including a tennis court, swimming pool, snooker / pool table, croquet set and the all important ice machine as we were in the middle of a heat wave. All the rooms were luxurious with all but one bedroom (which had it's own bathroom) having ensuite bathrooms and the two main bedrooms having dressing rooms as well. The grounds were spectacular and there was even gorgeous little chapel. The best endorsement I can give is that we were all discussing how we could come back next year. Sur notre liste des choses à faire dans notre vie, nous avons écrit des vacances avec toute la famille qui se compose de 13 personnes. Nous avons choisi de séjourner à la Bastide qui nous a semblé un choix parfait. Nous avions l'espace dont nous avions besoin, beaucoup de chambres, de salles de bain et toilettes. La villa était entièrement équipée. Nous avons eu quelques problèmes mais Thomas, notre hôte, a tout résolu au plus vite. Notre groupe comptait enfants, adolescents et adultes et nous avons tous apprécié notre séjour car nous avions de nombreuses possibilités à côté de la piscine exceptionnelle de la maison. Randonnées dans les environs, pêche dans le lac à proximité, billard, baby-foot, ping-pong. Et bien sûr nous avons beaucoup utilisé les BBQ tout en dégustant les merveilleux vins du domaine. Merci Thomas pour vos efforts pour rendre notre séjour le plus agréable possible. Fortement recommandé pour de précieuses vacances inoubliables garanties.
Fabulous Villa and location We've been coming to the south of France for year and specifically to this area and to Seillans for the last 5 years... and this villa is as good as we have ever stayed. The villa is impeccably kept, extremely comfortable and has the most magnificent views. Everything in the villa is as advertised and works well. The restaurants of Seillans are a short walk away. Although the town itself unfortunately has no boulangerie or patisserie, Fayence is only a 5 minute drive away and has a great one of those, plus a boucherie / charcuterie around the corner, both of which are close to the big Super U supermarket. The terrace and pool are East-facing. We were worried that in the photos it looked like there was little shade provided but with the big awnings for the terrace and a few parasols for the pool, finding shade from the morning sun was not a problem. We love this area for the beautiful mountain villages (seillans, Callian, Tourrettes etc) but the ease of getting around in the largely flat area south of those villages so you can get to Cannes, Grasse and the beaches. Nous avons passé une très belle semaine à La Maison Cabanon. C'était génial de se sentir chez soi ici. Tous les enfants se sont immédiatement détendus. Nous avons eu quelques jours nuageux alors nous sommes allés à Baux-de-Provence. La visite du marché de Saint-Rémy-de-Provence (le mercredi matin) et la découverte de L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue sont autant de belles choses à faire. Mais nous avons surtout apprécié la fabuleuse piscine ! Un cadre magnifique, une ambiance agréable. Merci.
The chteau is beautiful. Great house for our group of 10 adults and 8 children. lots of room for all of us to be comfortable. Amazing pool and lovely grounds. Kitchen is well equipped.. It is an old property and is well lived in but that isn’t a problem.
Nous avons loué la villa avec 2 autres couples et nous avons tous passé un moment fabuleux. Les Eyermann étaient des hôtes merveilleux et nous ont fourni une base idéale pour des sorties sur Nice, Cannes, Monte Carlo et Antibes pour des excursions d'une journée avec de courts trajets en voiture. Nous avons fait des promenades jusqu'à la mer tous les jours et les 3 boulangeries et épiceries ainsi que de nombreux restaurants ne sont qu'à quelques minutes. Nous avons utilisé la piscine chauffée tous les jours et pouvons honnêtement dire que nous n'avons jamais mangé de repas à l'intérieur. Le temps était fabuleux. Ce furent des vacances incroyables dont nous nous souviendrons toujours !
Wonderful family holiday, beautiful house and grounds and so much entertain for our 2 years old daughter. The highlight of our two weeks included a wine tour, visiting local markets, eating out and relaxing by the pool. We look forward to our return one day.

Je voulais juste dire merci. Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment au Mas de Pitou. C'est de loin le meilleur endroit où nous ayons séjourné en France depuis 10 ans! La localisation est idéale, nous avons fait de jolies balades depuis la maison. Et la touche spéciale - la corbeille de fruits et de légumes - était magnifique! Nous reviendrons et le recommanderons certainement à nos amis. Carole a été super: aimable, serviable et d'une grande aide.
Another restful holiday in this little haven. Visited some lovely villages and ate wonderful food. The weather was kind - most days over 28° (and England had rain!) Warm memories to survive the British winter! Thank you again.
Par où commencer ?! Vraiment l’un des endroits les plus incroyables où nous ayons séjourné. La propriété se trouve dans un endroit magnifique avec de belles vues sur les montagnes, à quelques minutes en voiture de Limoux qui offre tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin. Le trajet est également facile et court jusqu'à Carcassonne avec tous ses commerces et événements culturels (et son aéroport international). À proximité du magnifique littoral méditerranéen, du relief de la Montagne Noire et des magnifiques Pyrénées, il y a trop de sites incroyables à énumérer (ou à voir en un seul séjour)... si vous pouvez vous éloigner du Domaine de Nérige. La propriété elle-même dépasse de loin une description adéquate en mots ou en photographies. C'est complètement magique. Chaque aspect de la maison elle-même et l'expérience qu'elle offre ont été pensés avec soin et amour par les hôtes et le résultat est exceptionnel. Il n’est certainement pas facile d’atteindre à la fois l’élégance et le confort, mais ils l’ont fait, magistralement. En plus d'être entièrement magnifique, le logement est incroyablement spacieux - nous sommes restés en famille dans cinq des chambres, mais si nous avions utilisé toutes les chambres, il n'aurait pas semblé moins spacieux en raison de son agencement astucieux et généreux. Il est parfaitement aménagé, avec une cuisine incroyable avec tous les gadgets et ustensiles dont vous pourriez rêver, un coin repas extérieur avec barbecue à gaz et plaque chauffante, des serviettes et des draps luxueux (y compris des serviettes pour la piscine), un lecteur CD, des DVD, des jeux d'extérieur (table tennis, swing ball, baby-foot, pétanque), une salle de billard et puis il y a la piscine ! Une terrasse de piscine impeccablement entretenue avec chaises longues, pergola en bois et même douche extérieure. La piscine était fabuleuse pour les adultes et les enfants, étant suffisamment grande pour faire des longueurs mais aussi avec une partie peu profonde pour les enfants. Entretenue aussi méticuleusement que le reste de la propriété, la piscine est nettoyée tous les matins. Les hôtes n'auraient pas pu être plus serviables et accueillants du début à la fin. En raison de perturbations de voyage, nous avons dû modifier les dates de notre séjour à plusieurs reprises et les hôtes étaient très arrangeants et sympathiques, rien n'était trop leur demander. Avant notre arrivée, Sandie s'était même arrangée pour faire des courses pour nous ! Elle a également eu la gentillesse de faire venir un thérapeute à la maison pendant notre séjour afin que nous puissions avoir un massage bien mérité ! Je pense que le fait que tous les membres de notre groupe en soient tombés complètement amoureux, enfants et adultes, montre à quel point cet endroit est spécial. Nous avons hâte d'y retourner.

Wow, what a great place! During our stay there was nothing else we could have wished for. The awesome pool area, the great BBQ, the comfortable (sun)beds and beautiful bathrooms; everything was top notch. Enjoying the local wines, the pretty surroundings and fantastic golf course with our friends made this stay like it should be... Holiday! We hope to come back!
At Les Oliviers du Sud we felt like God in France as usual. From the sunny terrace, with a glass of wine in hand, a cheese nearby, we enjoyed the vines in the valley below us in ‘deafening’ silence, watched the olives come out of the blossom and listened to the cheerful twittering of the birds. The flat of the ever friendly and helpful hosts Esther and Leonard is furnished with taste. A touch of nostalgia with the look of today. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom is comfortable. Everything not only looks new, but is new. From the first moment, we felt at home here. The nearby forests invite you to go for a nice walk. By the way, you can walk everywhere in the area. Tip: the route along the medieval village of La Roque-sur-Ceze with the waterfalls nearby. In the village of Tresques, near Domaine Cadignac, we imagined ourselves in the France of old. A medieval tower with an exhibition of contemporary art, a bakery and grocery shop, a water spring where the villagers tap their daily drinking water and a good winemaker. Where do you still find these villages? The residence is conveniently located for visiting larger cities. Half an hour’s drive and you are in Orange with memories of the Dutch royal house or in the papal city of Avignon, where you can browse in one of those real French bric-a-brac markets in a suburb every Saturday morning. Or you can walk around Nîmes Collesseum after an hour’s drive and have visited the impressive aqueduct built by Romans on the way there. The ancient city centre of Nîmes and of historic Avignon are also an eldorado for funshoppers. In short, the fully equipped and rustic L'Oliveraie was an ideal base for us to (re)discover French nature and culture. We will definitely come back here again!
We enjoyed a very happy week at the villa. The only problem was that the villa is so nice that most of our plans for getting out and about were abandoned! We loved the privacy of the garden and pool area.
Thank you so much for a wonderful week and creating such a beautiful home. We've held my husbands 60th birthday here with 10 friends from the UK and Australia - an absolute joy!
The house is beautifully furnished with so many interesting art works and objects that each time you wander around, you notice something different! Many thanks for your generous hospitality.

Over the years we have stayed in around twenty different houses all over France - most were good, one or two were very good. But then there is the special one - this year. This house didn't feel like a house; it felt like home from the moment we walked through the door, after a long and tiring drive (and, bless you, there was bottle of ready chilled local wine ready and waiting for us). 'Welcome to your home' it said. The layout, décor and furnishings are delightful; and the luxury of each bedroom having its own bathroom topped it off. We had friends who came to stay for a while and they shared our thoughts. One couple even came back for a second visit on their way home. And then there is the garden – warm, private, shaded when you want it and serene. And yes, the pool is fabulous – it's a proper size. But wait until you see the garden at night, when you have your barbecue and the garden and pool lights come into play... makes the local rose taste even more morish. And then there is Pézenas - ten minutes walk away through a vineyard. And you won't go hungry there. Wonderful town. Only one regret – we couldn't parcel it up and take it home. It is, truly, an oasis.
We have had a wonderful week, such a comfortable home with such a fabulous pool.

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les jardins d'Eyrignac et de Marqueyssac, mais il y avait tellement de choses à faire et à voir ici. Le Bistro De L'Octroi, en face, est fantastique. Charming host. Beautiful location with magnificent views with vines and sunflowers. Perfect for running and walking. Good clean pool with covered area alongside so ideal for being in the shade. House very comfortable with all amenities including air con throughout.
Absolutely beautiful - all of it! I ran in the grounds every morning before it was too hot! Loved the high ceilings and shutters. Beautiful rooms and space for everyone. Loved have the huge living room. Obviously the pool and beautiful surroundings. Fully equipped kitchen and playroom for the kids and adults! Kitchen was brilliant . Loved the range and outdoor dining area next to the pond. Easy to cook for all needs. The owners have been the best hosts (from a distance). Kind and full of knowledge and tips. They have not elevated our holiday. Thank you fo much. I would not hesitate to return!

Thank you, Sharon, for letting us stay in your gorgeous home “Maison Charvin”! The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and the kitchen is fully equipped. The saltwater swimming pool was a godsend as the temperature has been very high over our 2-week stay. The village and its residents are lovely and friendly. There is a small local market every Thursday evening with cheese, wine, beer and other items for sale. The local bar is lovely. You need to make a booking to eat there - It is called Vin de Dagne and bookings can be made online. The owner is very friendly and speaks excellent English. His cooking is excellent too. We got our daily pastries and baguettes from the local shop a few doors down from the bar/restaurant. There is also a pizza van on a Thursday night when the local bar/restaurant is closed. Sharon very kindly organised a visit to her vet as part of the animal health certificate requirements. We have had a fabulous time and Sharon has been so helpful. Thank you.
Le château a dépassé toutes nos attentes dès que nous l'avons aperçu. Pour une fête familiale de 18 personnes réunissant trois générations, âgées de 9 à 74 ans, il y avait largement de quoi s'occuper… même si la piscine a eu un tel succès que nous ne nous sommes jamais trop éloignés ! Nicky et Richard étaient disponibles pour répondre à toutes nos questions et nous conseiller. Les traiteurs privés qu'ils nous ont recommandés pour une célébration spéciale étaient absolument exceptionnels. Les chambres, la vue (oh, quelle vue !), les espaces extérieurs disséminés un peu partout permettaient également de se recueillir tranquillement. Du barbecue au brasero, en passant par la salle de sport avec ses activités telles que le billard, le tennis de table, les fléchettes, le sac de boxe, la musculation (pour ceux qui le souhaitent !), le baby-foot, le badminton et bien plus encore, les nombreux vélos que certains utilisaient pour faire le trajet de 12 minutes jusqu'à la boulangerie pour acheter croissants et baguettes le matin, la cuisine bien équipée avec ses nombreux réfrigérateurs, son lave-linge et l'éclairage magique du soir, ce joyau ne vous décevra pas. C'est vraiment l'incarnation d'un château de conte de fées. Une semaine mémorable. Bravo à Nicky et Richard.
