Nous tenons à dire que nous avons passé un merveilleux moment à la Maison Valière, nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par Eric et Dominique, un pack de bienvenue comprenant de la confiture maison, des produits locaux, Eric nous a également fait découvrir le vin local du Château de Ventenac-en-Minervois, la cave vaut bien une visite. La propriété est fantastique, à part la piscine, il y a de quoi occuper tous les âges, il y a beaucoup de caractéristiques uniques dans cette propriété, y compris les enceintes audio d'Eric. La piscine était maintenue propre et remplie régulièrement. Eric et Dominique étaient toujours disponibles par téléphone pour offrir des conseils sur la région et les endroits à visiter. Est-ce que nous y retournerions ? Oui, sans aucun doute. Je dois également dire que c'était la première fois que nous réservions via Pure France, ce qui s'est déroulé sans problème et avec plaisir.

We have also never encountered more helpful hosts; you made our stay all the more enjoyable, thank you. We have already begun to spread the word!
Thank you for a lovely week at the very beautiful Le Chambarru. We have all been able to relax and enjoy the peace, the wonderful views and even the spectacular thunderstorms in the evenings! A week is not long enough sadly.
Nous avons opté cette année pour des vacances « au vert » avec 2 couples d’amis et leurs enfants (au total 6 adultes et 5 enfants) et avons eu la main très heureuse avec notre location. Ce n’est jamais facile avec internet, et là quelle belle découverte à l’arrivée : une énorme maison superbement rénovée. Grand confort dans cette belle bâtisse en pierres, dans un cadre naturel très préservé. Les chambres sont magnifiques et particulièrement grandes, les 2 chambres en mezzanine ont été occupées par les enfants en y ajoutant un couchage supplémentaire. Les espaces collectifs sont aussi très soignés (confort, déco) et agréables à vivre, mention spéciale pour la cuisine équipée de matériel professionnel, spacieuse et pourvue de bien plus que le nécessaire. La piscine est encore plus grande qu’elle ne paraît en photo. Pour les plus petits enfants nous la fermions avec le volet électrique, pratique et efficace. Le jardin est propice au dépaysement et à la contemplation, le cadre est de toute beauté. Au final on a regretté de n’avoir loué qu’une semaine, la maison est si agréable qu’on a envie d’y rester et se prélasser mais nous reviendrons pour continuer à découvrir les Cévennes. En bref un excellent séjour et une location à recommander.
Merci beaucoup ! Nous avons passé une semaine formidable. La villa est fabuleuse. L'emplacement est fabuleux aussi. C'est super d'avoir les vélos. Nous avons vraiment apprécié les merveilleux petits déjeuners frais. Merci aussi pour les conseils recommandés sur les endroits à visiter : Bize-Minervois, Bagès, Sète et Carcassonne. Nous les avons tous visités. Ils étaient incroyables. Le dîner au Pourquoi Pas ? était magique. Un endroit parfait pour célébrer notre 25ème anniversaire. Merci ! Vous êtes les meilleurs hôtes.
We've had a wonderful week here in such an amazing, spacious house. We have enjoyed being near to Najac, and being able to walk there for lunch and exploring, especially the castle. The views at breakfast with the clouds are quite spectacular. Today we visited the alpaca farm and really enjoyed our tour round the various fields of alpacas. The children particularly enjoyed feeding them. The swimming pool has been a real highlight and wonderful weather an added bonus. Many thanks to Henrietta for her welcome and amazing suggestions and all the help.
We adore this house - it is our third visit this year! The atmosphere here is so conducive to being happy and relaxed. Les Baquiés are the most agreeable hosts in the world.
We have all had a superb week. What a beautiful house and surroundings. Huge fun in the pool, long evenings on the stunning terrace watching the sun go down. Complete relaxation for us all. Younger folk tried the Pirate experience and really enjoyed it. We all went to Laparade - a huge open food festival, a sea of tables on the remparts (take your own cloth and plastic beakers!) and great music. A truly magical week we will all treasure. X

What a wonderful holiday we have had. We are familiar with the region but La Tourouzelle offers the most amazing place for a holiday: fabulous views to the Pyrénées, a comfortable, well-equipped home and a fantastic pool! There is so much to do here - lovely bastide towns and villes perchées and lots of fêtes and festivals. We have particularly enjoyed the fête at Fanjeaux, the views from the Collégiale at Montréal, a late night walk around la Cité at Carcassonne, the fête du Cassoulet at Castelnaudary and the festival de Pétanque at Limoux. We look forward to another visit.
Fantastic holiday. We come to France a lot and this is one of the best places we have stayed in.
Une propriété fabuleuse, tout ce dont vous avez besoin au même endroit, surtout la piscine. Un emplacement merveilleux et le restaurant local était idéal.
We’ve had a wonderful time thank you. Yes, it did get pretty hot last week, but coming from England we shouldn’t moan..! It’s such a stunning location and the house is very comfortable and cool in the heat. We really don’t want to go home but I’m afraid we have to… Maybe we can come again next summer?
Nous y avons passé un magnifique séjour. La piscine était tout simplement idéale et nous avons facilement organisé des barbecues plusieurs soirs sans aucun problème (ceci venant d'une personne qui n'en a pas l'habitude!). J'ai particulièrement aimé le fait de pouvoir s'installer à divers endroits autour de la maison au fur et à mesure que la journée passait pour rester au soleil ou à l'ombre. La petite ville à 5 minutes en voiture a d'excellents commerces et deux supermarchés pratiques, alors qu'un peu plus loin se trouvent d'excellents restaurants. Bref, un lieu à apprécier et à savourer.
Cette charmante ferme à la campagne offre beaucoup d'espace pour une famille élargie de 6 adultes et 3 enfants (âgés de 13 et 4 ans) pour y passer une semaine de détente dans cette région tout aussi paisible qu'est la Dordogne. La piscine a été un énorme succès auprès des adultes et des enfants, tandis que les nombreux espaces extérieurs offraient de la place au soleil ou à l'ombre tout au long de la journée. En plus des jeux décrits, il existe de nombreux jouets pour les jeunes enfants, notamment un nouveau bac à sable qui est « apparu » pendant notre séjour. Je recommande.
It has been fun cooking and eating out on the terrace with the wonderful views.
What an excellent villa in a wonderful setting. Everything we needed was here and the swimming pool was just right. As previous comments by others, Cédric is a great host. We thoroughly recommend a visit to this area and this villa. Bize-Minervois and Lagrasse were our two favourite places to visit. If you want to treat yourself to a great restaurant in a great setting, Relais Chantonvent in Minerve - book early.
Thank you so much for your hospitality and kindness. The Loft has been amazing for us - so comfortable and beautifully decorated. We have very much enjoyed our morning coffees, lunches and dinners on the terrace. We have relaxed and read lots of books, which is just what we needed. The restaurant recommendations have been really helpful. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.
An amazing house with the best swimming pool we have ever seen! 16 of us stayed in this lovely house for 2 weeks as we took the little gîte as well. We had a fabulous holiday. You have to drive up through fields of sunflowers to get there – a great welcome. We had loads of children but the pool is so big they spent the whole time doing acrobatics in it – and there was still room for us adults, when we managed to peel ourselves off the sun loungers. Evenings were spent playing tennis on the courts in the house grounds, BBQs, or local restaurants.
We booked the Manoir de Monflanquin in Oct 2020. It was between lockdowns and it was a very weird and scary time for us as a family. We were so looking forward to the holiday. We then postponed it due to the travel restrictions in 2021, we just didn’t want to risk it. It’s the longest time we’ve ever waited for a holiday. Our holiday in Monflanquin was the best holiday we’ve ever had and we’ve been on some great ones! The house was elegant but robust enough to cope with the 9 of us. It was better than the photos we’d been pouring over for two years. We never got used to the views, the space and beauty of the place. The pool, garden, hammocks, table tennis, badminton net and pool table kept us fully entertained. The kitchen was such a lovely place to be and so delightfully organised. We all took it in turns to cook and had gorgeous evenings outside chatting and eating at the tables out front. The weather was incredible - we had days of glorious sunshine and then spectacular electrical storms. When it rained we just wandered into Monflanquin, set up camp in a pretty cafe and played cards. The view of Monflanquin from the garden always made me pause and remember how lucky we were. The views of the house as we strolled round the fields also gave us joy. It sat so firmly and proudly on its plot. Please thank the owners for providing such a lovely place for us to all get together. It was perfect. Thank you from us all.
C'est le château le plus charmant et le plus soigné, beaucoup de caractère, de belles pièces d'art et des lits gigantesques! Il y a une pièce pour chacune de nos humeurs, même une discothèque, un billard et la plus belle salle de réception qui soit. La meilleure cuisine équipée que nous ayons connue, une merveilleuse piscine, court de tennis, croquet, pétanque... il est impossible de s'ennuyer ici! Le château est impressionnant mais il y règne une atmposphère qui nous fait nous sentir chez nous. Différents endroits possibles pour déjeuner, nous recommendons de dîner à l'arrière du château pour profiter des couchers de soleil. Nous ne pouvions pas aimé plus une maison et avons dès le deuxième jour de nos vacances réservé notre prochain séjour.
Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable à Nézignan et pensons que la propriété est de première qualité.
En nageant sous le soleil à La Barde, nous avons vécu un séjour luxueux dans un endroit idéal pour nous rappeler les aspects les plus importants de la vie : la famille, la nature et l'amour. C'est tellement évident que chaque recoin de cette maison a été conçu et est entretenu avec amour. Une escapade parfaite dans les collines de Lusignac.
Hi future guest, The couple who own the property have poured so much love into every corner of the beautiful. home that you can feel it when you stay there. The place is so much more cosy and beautifully designed than the pictures give the impression. During our stay we said we wanted to listen to music and asked if there were speakers onsite. Karen and Russell said there wasn't but then went out and bought a pair for us to use! At one point we were cooking and I borrowed some olive oil, curry powder and a chilli pepper. I wanted to get a guitar and they told me where a fabulous music shop was and I ended up purchasing a beautiful guitar. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we felt beyond welcome. The place is a bit like a fairytale place, and they made our stay beyond what we imagined. It is an oasis and a sanctuary and close to many nearby sites such as Château de Rene and others. Highly recommend staying here.
An absolute gem of a house! We came here for a fortnight with a mixture of friends, family and even a cricket team (touring France). And we had the most delightful stay. It really feels like a luxurious home from home, with lovely comfortable furniture, beautiful spacious grounds, a first rate tennis court and pool and a beautiful 'bolet' (veranda) on which to sit and enjoy the local wine… Highly recommended!
If you're looking for French charm and a true get away, then Le Mas de Combet is the place for you. A beautiful house with everything you need for a trip away with family or friends (the accommodation in the barn is so handy for young familys too). The property has been lovingly and thoughtfully restored plus communication was spot on, it was easy to book and any questions I had were answered promptly.
Nous ne saurions trop recommander le Mas Saint-Martial. Nous avons passé quelques semaines relaxantes et très agréables en profitant au maximum du calme isolé de cette charmante maison, d'une excellente piscine, d'un vaste terrain et de magnifiques environs. Pour une famille de 4 personnes avec deux pré-adolescentes, c'était idéal avec suffisamment d'espace pour que nous puissions tous en profiter et une piscine chaude. Il y avait une salle de jeux bien équipée et nous avons adoré le terrain de badminton tout temps. De bonnes commodités locales avec une excellente boulangerie.
