Thank you for your warm welcome and kindness. We had an amazing time enjoying your beautiful gîte set in beautiful surroundings. Thank you for all the useful times and recommendations. We had a great time exploring the markets at Bergerac, Riberac, Périgueux and Saint-Astier. We enjoyed the sunshine win the terrace with a glass of wine and a good book. Perfect.
Nous avons séjourné ici en juillet/août 2025 pendant deux semaines et avons passé des vacances parfaites entre plusieurs générations. Nous étions 12 personnes, âgées de 5 à 76 ans. La propriété était absolument idéale : suffisamment spacieuse pour que nous puissions tous être ensemble quand nous le souhaitions, tout en offrant suffisamment d'espace pour nous détendre, jouer à des jeux de société ou simplement profiter d'un moment de calme. La maison est extrêmement bien équipée et soigneusement aménagée pour les grands groupes. C'est un vrai plaisir de séjourner dans un endroit qui comprend les besoins des grands groupes : assiettes, tasses, verres en quantité suffisante et de nombreux sièges à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur. La piscine était fantastique, impeccablement propre et appréciée de tous, chaque jour. Mention spéciale à Michelle, la merveilleuse dame qui s'occupe de la propriété. Elle a été formidable : chaleureuse, serviable et a rapidement résolu nos deux petits problèmes. Elle nous a également donné d'excellentes recommandations locales. L'emplacement est charmant et isolé, ce qui implique de prendre la voiture pour faire les courses ou profiter des activités, mais honnêtement, la propriété est si grande et confortable qu'on n'a pas souvent envie de partir. Nous avons apprécié quelques sorties – kayak sur la Dordogne, dîners au restaurant et excursions – mais nous étions toujours heureux de rentrer « à la maison ». En résumé, cette maison est un mélange entre une maison accueillante et un hôtel haut de gamme. Nous n'aurions pas pu rêver d'un meilleur endroit pour nos vacances en famille et nous la recommandons vivement.

Merci de nous avoir ouvert votre extraordinaire demeure à notre grande famille. Nos vacances au Château Périgord ont dépassé toutes nos attentes. La beauté de la région et de votre maison sont de parfaits compliments. Nous avons aimé faire nos courses sur les marchés locaux et cuisiner ensemble dans la cuisine accueillante. Nous avons adoré notre temps passé dans la piscine et à jouer au badminton, ainsi que le temps à simplement profiter de ce cadre agréable et de ces vues. Nous avons exploré des grottes préhistoriques et des villages médiévaux, nous avons dégusté des vins de la région, visité des châteaux célèbres, descendu la rivière Dordogne en canoë et avons toujours terminé la journée impatients de revenir et de profiter du Château Périgord.
Perfect for a relaxing holiday. First impressions were better than the photographs. We wanted a relaxing family holiday after a very hectic year and that is what we experienced. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful but left you completely alone unless you needed something. The villa itself is spotless, beautifully laid out and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Outside is incredibly peaceful and we spend the majority of our time by the pool.. Yet although it feels beautifully isolated it is in fact only minutes from shops and lotes of things to see and dol Will definitely return if we are able.

Nous avons passé un séjour des plus merveilleux dans la propriété. Le jardin est magnifique et la piscine incroyable. À l’intérieur, tout est mis en place pour un séjour confortable pour tous : les enfants ont adoré les hamacs ! Merci de la rendre si accueillante. J'espère que nous reviendrons très bientôt.
Magical, inviting, soothing, AMAZING! The villa was truly magical, while also invoking a sense of home. The community areas are large enough that you never feel crowded and there are several places to "hide" within the property for true soul searching/peace with a magnificent view at every turn. Very well maintained and quaint restaurants/shops just a short walk away, but not too close(you still feel tucked away). HIGHLY recommend!!

Nous avons passé un excellent week end dans une maison qui correspond en touT point à la description : confortable, spacieuse, vue magnifique. Le temps n'était pas propice malheureusement à un plongeon dans la piscine en février, mais nous imaginons à quel point ce peut être agréable. Maison idéale pour des retrouvailles en famille

Thank you again for opening your home to us this summer. We all really needed a vacation and the house was a superb way to relax and enjoy perfect weather. We all had a great time and fully enjoyed the house and the property. The overall layout of the house and inside the rooms is very thoughtful and was perfect for all of us. We had three families, 4 kids of different ages and a grandma. The different spaces allowed us to handle the different kid routines and moods in a way that gave everyone privacy. The kitchen is large and extremely well furnished. Makes it comfortable to cook for large groups. The pool is actually enormous. The way Patrick takes care of it seems to produce much better results than I have seen in other places: the water stayed clear all the way through. The pool house is an incredibly valuable area, especially because it is so well furnished, this is a serious luxury. The small supermarket in St-Antonin-du-Var is surprisingly good, if you are not a big cook you could totally live off this (they opened on Sunday am!). We also organised a Casino home delivery for the day before we arrived. We used P and Geraldine for 16 hours a week, to get the kitchen cleaned, make the beds, light housekeeping, remove rubbish, clean the BBQ and pool house areas and this made a huge positive difference.
My family and I had a wonderful stay In Sabatel Farmhouse. The hamlet is very peaceful and set back into the landscape. The house has the most beautiful garden, with a great sized pool and lounging area. We enjoyed cooking in the very well equipped kitchen and ate on the lovely sunny terrace overlooking the garden. There is a big blind to help when it gets really warm and sunny. The local markets and villages are a great way to spend the day exploring. We had the most amazing time. Can't wait to visit again!
You have created the best house in Collioure ! We have had the most relaxing holiday and enjoyed every moment. Wonderful views - lovely sea and beaches and excellent restaurants.
Loved the setting of the house - sunflowers are gorgeous. The pool and hammock gave us much chance to relax.
We had a really lovely time at Le Paradis Secret and will no doubt book with you again in the future.

Absolutely fabulous! We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 weeks and would love to return. It's so well equipped, you've thought of everything UK TV meant we could stay in touch with local news not mention avidly watching the olympics. The property couldn't be bettered!
Ma famille et moi avons passé 2 superbes semaines à la Maison Charvin. Quelles vacances fantastiques nous avons eues. Les indications pour trouver la maison étaient simples et faciles à suivre. La maison était impeccablement propre et équipée de tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin, ce qui était un soulagement bienvenu après le long trajet. En tant que cuisinière passionnée, mon amie a aimé nous y préparer de délicieux repas tout au long de notre séjour. Mes enfants sont tombés amoureux de la maison (ils ont chacun apprécié d'avoir leur chambre !) et de la piscine et ne voulaient plus partir ! Les faits remarquables de nos vacances incluent: Se promener dans la belle cité fortifiée de Carcassonne Monter jusqu'aux ruines du château de Quéribus, l'un des châteaux cathares, situé au sommet d'un des plus hauts sommets des Pyrénées. Des vues à couper le souffle et cela vaut bien l'effort ! Un repas unique à l'Auberge du Vieux Puits, restaurant 3 étoiles Michelin à Fontjoncouse. À seulement 30 minutes en voiture de Mason Charvin. La Franqui – quelle plage fabuleuse. Beaux restaurants et boutiques en front de mer. Vaut vraiment le détour! La piscine! Le vin! Et le dernier mais non le moindre, Sharon. Une hôte fantastique qui a continuellement fait des efforts pour s'assurer que nous profitions de nos vacances. Je ne peux pas la noter assez bien et j'espère un jour retourner à Montlaur et à la Maison Charvin! Merci Sharon d'avoir partagé votre belle maison et pour tout ce que vous avez fait pour nous.
I just wanted to send a quick note to say that your house is truly amazing. The pictures framed our expectations but being here has exceeded them. We love the indoor / outdoor design of the house and the thoughtful marrying of aesthetics with functionality. We are wanting for nothing! My husband thoroughly enjoyed working at the desk on the mezzanine yesterday (the Wi-Fi and cell coverage was flawless), we both enjoyed long runs on the country roads and green walking trail and my boys love bouncing between the pool and huge yard for ball sports. Oh and I love cooking in your kitchen! I'm a cook and a believer that the kitchen should be the center of the house as it is in yours. Your lovingly done house is a magical place and I didn't want to let another day go you know by without letting how grateful we are to be here.
Our family stayed at the Mas de Lozanne for two weeks and it was a resounding success with us all. The property was exactly as described in the details and photographs - light airy rooms, a beautiful garden and one of the best pools I've ever seen in a private house. The air conditioning was very welcome as we were there in a heatwave! Dom and Ina looked after us very well and answered all our queries. Pèzenas is a lovely little place and we certainly hope to return. I had never heard of Pure France before coming across them on the net and it's always a slightly scary thing to send several thousand Euros 'into the ether' in this age of Internet scams. However I need not have worried as this agency was extremely efficient and straightforward in all our dealings, answering my queries by return. I would like to thank them and would certainly recommend them.
This was one of the very best holiday experiences we have ever had. Superb accommodation, spacious and elegant with a stunning pool and table tennis. The area is glorious with mediaeval towns, wineries and close to Bergerac airport should that be required. It really is a spectacular location and can recommend it without any reservation, not least as the owners are completely committed to the satisfaction of their clients. It’s outstanding.

Un lieu idéal pour passer des vacances en famille ou entre amis. La maison est exposée de telle sorte qu'on a le soleil toute la journée avec d'un côté la vue sur le chateau et de l'autre sur la vallée, La cuisine d'été près de la piscine nous a permis de nous restaurer du matin au soir mais on a pu aussi prendre le petit-déjeuner dans la cour avec le soleil levant et de dîners sur la terrasse aux lumières du soleil couchant. La maison est très grande et bien équipée, les chambres sont spacieuses et tout est décoré avec goût. On a apprécié la proximité du village accessible à pieds très rapidement mais aussi découvrir la région en voiture. Un séjour royal dans un endroit majestueux où l'on s'est pris au jeu de faire une soirée sur le thème "la vie de chateau". A votre tour de jouer les châtelains.
Nous venons de rentrer d'une semaine magique au château dans la région de Cahors dans la vallée du Lot, dans le sud-ouest de la France - 16 membres de la famille de 4 générations se sont réunis pour célébrer l'anniversaire de mariage de diamant de nos merveilleux parents, Jean et Dave et quoi de plus approprié qu'un magnifique château situé dans un cadre magnifique. C'était notre deuxième visite au château, notre première étant pour célébrer leurs noces d'or il y a dix ans ! Les nouveaux propriétaires Richard et Nicky étaient charmants et répondaient à peu près à tous nos caprices ! Le château a tant à offrir, des journées de farniente autour de la belle piscine, une salle de sport/salle de jeux avec un excellent équipement de gym, des fléchettes, des vélos, une piscine, du badminton, du tennis, du tennis de table, du baby-foot et même un jeu de golf en plein air - pas le temps de s'ennuyer !! Il y a aussi beaucoup à faire dans la région comme du canoë, des excursions en bateau, les villes historiques, marchés et châteaux à découvrir ainsi que de nombreux supermarchés à proximité pour les provisions. Les cadres merveilleux ne manquaient pas pour profiter de nos repas en famille ensemble, et nous avons opté pour des repas préparés par la merveilleuse équipe de restauration, @Le Quercy Kitchen, dirigée par la charmante Jill et sa fille Georgina - nous ne pouvions rien reprocher à aucun met du délicieux repas qu'ils nous ont préparés chaque soir, ils se sont superbement occupés de nous! Dans l'ensemble, une excellente semaine, je le recommande vivement!
Our stay was as much about the garden as the stunning house, the electronic gate at the entrance worked a treat each time we used it. Three of us each had a bedroom and all the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen and lounge were fully equipped so we wanted for nothing. We linked our laptop in to the CD via a two-to-one 3.5mm jack lead which we take everywhere, so were able to listen to our collection of music through quite a reasonable hi-fi system. The large TV, although not HD, was great for any English programmes you just couldn't miss, even on holiday! We made the ten minute scenic drive up to the boulangerie at Bertric-Buree for our baguettes, croissants and pain-a-raisins most days as there are no shops in Lusignac, just a bar restaurant. The croissants were enjoyed sitting outside the kitchen / living room area on the middle floor, which has a stunning view. For our first week, the temperatures were in the mid-thirties so it was lovely to cool off in the pool. With the pool being quite long, you could actually swim, rather than just splash about which was great to keep a little bit of fitness going. Now the garden. As having a very keen interest in natural history, especially butterflies, we contacted the owner and asked if he could leave the grass uncut, so that any wild flowers would be there to attract butterflies for our photography. He duly obliged. This resulted in a count of thirty one species of butterfly just in the garden, with another five spotted whilst out on our travels. Non-British species included Scarce Swallowtail, Swallowtail, Pearly Heath, Mallow Skipper, Map and the star of the show, Large Blue, which were extinct in Britain until being reintroduced recently. The grass areas provided a fantastic environment for butterflies and other insects. This little area truly is a spectacular insect haven. This is without the lavender hedge which runs down one side of the entire drive. No red squirrels, but we watched birds of prey circling as the farmer cut the field in the valley and amongst other species of birds, there were a pair of Golden Orioles which flew by regularly. If you are looking for a modern house in an attractive location with lovely pool, lovely view and ridiculous number of butterflies, this is it!
Fabulous time - lovely area. Enjoyed the markets, some great restaurants, playing water volleyball and drinking and buying lots of wine!
