Thank-you, Jean and Martin, for a fabulous two week stay in your lovely gîte. We had everything we needed to make it a very special relaxing holiday. The outdoor BBQ area has been put to great use! We have enjoyed many evenings outside drinking and eating. It was great having your input for ideas and suggestions for things to do and places to visit. The pool is perfect and we have enjoyed using the lovely gazebo area. The garden is a beautiful retreat in which to fully unwind and enjoy the abundant birdlife, especially first thing in the morning. We have really enjoyed watching the wood pecker, especially gathering food for the offspring! Lauzun provided the perfect location to start our many heavenly bike rides and to explore the fascinating bastide towns of Issigeac, Villereal and Eymet. We also visited the prehistoric cave-Grotte de Font Gaume and highly recommend, (pre-book tickets online). We look forward to coming back soon and seeing you again.
Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux! Les images ne peuvent pas représenter pleinement la beauté de la maison, de la piscine et du cadre depuis la colline avec vue sur la rivière et la vallée. L'aménagement de la maison a très bien fonctionné pour nous, car chacune de nos familles avait sa propre aile avec plusieurs chambres et salles de bains. Nous sommes reconnaissants pour l'aide avec l'organisation des chefs et des baby-sitters (qui étaient fantastiques), les hôtes ont été proactifs pour s'assurer que nous passions un excellent séjour. L'emplacement est excellent aussi, car à proximité de deux jolies villes avec de bonnes boulangeries et restaurants, près de Sarlat, Domme et La Roque-Gageac, bonne base pour visiter les grottes préhistoriques, les excursions en rivière, les vignobles, etc. On ne recommandera que trop cette maison!
Nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances à la villa. La villa est idéale, spacieuse et joliment décorée. Les enfants ont adoré la piscine et la table de ping-pong ! C'est une base idéale pour visiter la région. Le marché de Pézenas est à ne pas manquer. Nous avons navigué sur bateau, monté des chevaux, loué des vélos à Marseillan et vu des flamants roses ! As per other reviews the house was great with stunning views. All the things you need to have a great holiday. The weather was still hot with some days in the mid 30s, so we took advantage of the swimming pool and relaxed around the house. The house is a great location for cycling, there is the obvious challenge of Mount Ventoux and there are some excellent roads in the surrounding area with stunning scenery. For those interested in wine then I would highly recommend Paul from Rhône wine tours. He came to the house and we did wine tasting with him and we learnt about wines of the Rhône valley, while the kids played in the pool. Great if you don't want to take a tour with kids at the winery.

Si vous aimez le charme de l ancien, vous serez conquis. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la disposition de la maison et des extérieurs. Le fait que la piscine soit dans le jardin bas crée à la fois une sécurité mais aussi que la maison reste très calme quand il y a de l agitation à la piscine! Nous avons fait les plus mémorables parties de ping pong à l ombre des majestueux cyprès et les enfants ont passé des heures à illuminer le château dont la proximité immédiate est magique.
Nous avons récemment eu le plaisir de séjourner dans cette belle villa, elle a vraiment dépassé nos attentes. Les photos sur le site Web ne reflètent pas pleinement le charme et l'espace disponible à la propriété. Dès notre arrivée, nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison. La villa est magnifiquement agencée, offrant un vaste espace ouvert, ce qui était parfait pour notre famille de cinq personnes. La cuisine est exceptionnellement bien équipée, ce qui facilite la préparation des repas. Chaque pièce était impeccable, bien rangée et offrait un grand espace de rangement pour toutes nos affaires de vacances. La salle de jeux était un bonus fantastique, occupant nos enfants pendant les jours de pluie occasionnels. L'un des points forts de notre séjour a été l'incroyable piscine. Nos trois garçons l'ont absolument adorée et ont passé des heures à barboter. La pente douce de la piscine a été particulièrement utile pour notre plus jeune, qui a appris à nager pendant ces vacances, une étape inoubliable pour notre famille. Nous avons également apprécié le coin salon extérieur, qui était idéal pour la détente en journée et les jeux en soirée pendant que nous regardions le coucher du soleil. Le cadre paisible et la vue imprenable ont contribué à la tranquillité de notre séjour. L'emplacement de la villa est parfait pour explorer la région, qui offre de nombreuses activités pour occuper une famille comme la nôtre. Que vous recherchiez l'aventure ou la détente, cette villa est un choix parfait. Dans l'ensemble, notre séjour a été merveilleux et nous n'hésiterions pas à y retourner. Nous recommandons grandement la propriété !

One of the loveliest and peaceful lodgings of my two week 1000+km driving tour of South Western France. La Petite Maison Générille is nestled in verdant hills overlooking the most beautiful natural and historical settings in all of France. Though it is located in a hamlet enclave that feels worlds away, it is so conveniently located to access many châteaux, stunning river drives with views of the "falaises" - the ancient cliffs, and numerous restaurants found in charming villages that won't disappoint! Alll within a 10 to 20 minute drive. This is a place that you will want to return to again and again!

Nous avons passé deux semaines superbes dans votre belle maison. Elle est calme, propre et dispose de tout l'équipement nécessaire. Le grand jardin est agréable avec beaucoup d'ombre. Nous avons adoré aussi le tennis de table. Mais nous avons surtout aimé la piscine, par temps chaud.
I just want to say what a wonderful week we spent at Maison Tilleul. From the moment we arrived (and a mere 20 minutes from Carcassonne airport, how fabulous!) we just fell into the house which had everything we needed for a super relaxed holiday with the children and my father. Having good internet for the children (when we allowed them!) was great and a wonderful pool close to the house so everyone was together made a huge difference. Loved that we could pop to Limoux for a ‘pression’ in the evening and Carcassonne is amazing to visit, for shopping and sightseeing. And we were lucky enough to be there during the festival and saw Rag’n’Bone Man! Will definitely come back, it was so easy to get to and the house has everything we need and more.

A beautiful house with a great view and pool. Very spacious and kitchen was fully equipped. The housekeeper was very responsive and provided great care. Would love to come back and definitely recommend for a remote getaway for a group of 7.

Tout a été organisé par le propriétaire pour répondre à nos questions avant notre séjour et pour que tout se passe bien. La maison est très agréable, propre et rénovée avec bon goût. La piscine chauffée est un must. Nous recommandons l'établissement !
An incredibly magical week in this very special home. With such a large (chaotic!) group it was wonderful to have so much space that the energetic children had so much to keep them busy and even allowed the adults to feel like they had R and R! Very much hoping to be able to come back and explore more as we enjoyed it immensely!
Thanks Kate and Franz for creating such a peaceful and beautiful place to stay. Enjoying tea and coffee on our last morning we were joined by 2 deer - a lovely last moment. We are going to miss the house, the swimming pool and the beautiful meadow. Our highlights are Montcuq market, spending time in Lauzerte and Montpazier, two very pretty places. We have had some great food, especially at Le Caillau. It has been a special summer for our children, who have both had to endure exams and so it is fantastic that we as a family have been able to spend time together in this wonderful place. So pleased to have met you both and of course the little Lotte. Love from us all.
Fantastic house in a lovely town. The property is extensive, nicely modernised and very well maintained. We visited with three children and they had plenty of room. The pool is AMAZING and they jumped in and out of that very happily. The outside terrace on the upper floor is a lovely place to lounge or eat - and the BBQ is a very good feature. In all we had a WONDERFUL time!

We can't wait to go back! A chateau with some serious wow factor, this beautiful home in Burgundy was the perfect setting for our family holiday. Luxurious but also wonderfully laid back, it had every possible amenity - tennis court, swimming pool, fully equipped kitchen, gas barbecue, DVD with full library of movies, games room, etc – allowing us all to relax, unwind, keep everyone entertained and also treat ourselves. Would highly recommend hiring the local chef too for an extra special treat. Can’t wait to go back!
Nous avons passé 10 jours merveilleux en famille au Château de Saussignac. La grande piscine avec vue sur les vignes était magnifique. Le jardin possédait même un petit potager (les propriétaires sont des auteurs de livres de cuisine) où nous pouvions cueillir toutes les herbes et légumes. Les lits sont magnifiques, les salles de bains et la cuisine sont complètes. De l'autre côté de la rue se trouve un très bon restaurant proposant des déjeuners et des dîners. L'aéroport se trouve à 30 minutes en voiture et tous les commerces sont à proximité. Le château est fortement recommandé et nous reviendrons certainement!

Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home, it was the perfect place to spend our 30th anniversary! The views are amazing, village charming and the pool well used. Thank you also for the cold meats, cheeses and wine on our arrival, a really welcoming touch. We would definitely recommend a day kayaking to Pont du Gard, a really good way to spend the day, hats, suncream and picnic a must. Again, a very big thank you, we would love to return one day.
What a beautiful, spaceous and clean place. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Very nice area in the garden to relax by the pool, to have a bite on the terrace or to have drinks at your cosy private bar the area in the corner. Inside area has a very nice cool temperature, even when it's 38°C outside. Perfect. Slept like a bear! Absolutely loved my stay, which was too short! Adore the house and flowers, love the owners. Had a great time.
En week-end en famille, tout le monde a été charmé et ravi par la maison de Sue. Très grande maison confortable et joliment décorée pourvue d un jardin et d une piscine de toute beauté et idéalement située au bord du canal du Midi. Sue est très sympathique et son accueil chaleureux. Nous recommandons et y retournerons pour un week-end détente.
Maison Bourriette is a wonderful place to stay! In a peaceful location it’s a perfect getaway with cool indoor spaces and beautiful tranquil outdoor spaces. The house boasts wonderful views across the valley, with many routes from the house for walks or runs. The village is a short walk away and has a well stocked traditional market, an outdoor gym for those feeling active! The artificial beach in the village also allows for swimming or relaxing and the local pizza restaurant completes the day! We have visited more than once and each stay is relaxing, with friendly, helpful hosts. We will definitely go back to this hidden gem!
Nous sommes rentrés depuis une semaine à la maison et je voulais juste envoyer un email pour vous remercier pour ces vacances merveilleuses. Parfait du début à la fin. Réservation facile, communication au top, un gîte fantastique avec de super propriétaires. C'était seulement notre deuxième réservation avec Pure France mais cela ne sera certainement pas la dernière!
