Une semaine merveilleuse et paisible, de belles vues et une belle météo.
Il s'agit d'un compte-rendu actualisé et plus complet de notre séjour en juin dans la magnifique Maison des Cordeliers à Sarlat. Après un très long voyage jusqu'à Sarlat depuis Calais via Orléans à travers des tempêtes de pluie franchement bibliques, ce fut un soulagement d'arriver dans une maison aussi accueillante ! La maison était très cosy et avait tout le confort que l'on peut souhaiter. Les lits étaient super confortables (c'est dire quelque chose de la part d'une personne difficile en matière de matelas) et il y avait beaucoup de rangements pour les bagages. La cuisine et le salon étaient approvisionnés avec tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin et la télévision par satellite était un bonus pour les match de l'Euro ! Comme le temps s'améliorait, nous avons passé beaucoup de temps autour de la belle piscine ou quand il faisait trop chaud, la véranda était un endroit bienvenu où s'installer à l'ombre et se détendre avec un livre. La climatisation était également très appréciée ! Nous n'avions jamais séjourné dans cette partie de la France auparavant, nous nous dirigions habituellement vers la Provence ou la Côte d'Azur, mais la ville ne nous a pas déçus. Belle architecture médiévale, marchés fabuleux et charmants magasins et restaurants. Sarlat est une véritable merveille et le fait que le centre soit à 5 minutes à pied de la maison est un véritable bonus. Je peux honnêtement dire que nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux et relaxant à la Maison des Cordeliers et que nous serions ravis d'y séjourner à nouveau la prochaine fois que nous nous reviendrons en Dordogne.
Sejour au calme reposant, exterieure très agreable. Hôte très agreable et reactif. A refaire bientôt.
We has the most amazing time at Domaine du Château! The pictures do not do the beautiful property justice, on site and surrounding areas very well kept and very quintessential, especially views during afternoon pool time! Each room is very comfortable and luxuriously appointed. Great thought went into unique details of each room and space and privacy for a large group. The best part of the whole experience was the wonderful staff, who produced incredible meals for us and made sure that our every need was met. It was a vacation that we will not soon forget. Wonderful stay and would recommend this property to anyone who wanted to immerse into the French wine country.
Thanks for the return of our deposit monies plus the extra which we didn’t expect. Feeling very holiday blues today. We will definitely be back.

J'ai beaucoup apprécié les promenades que nous avons faites et je vous suis reconnaissante d'avoir pris le temps de nous montrer vos recommandations, ce que vous n'aviez pas nécessairement à faire. C'était tellement relaxant et la vue était magnifique. Je recommanderai cette maison à mes amis et à ma famille. Camirout est un séjour absolument incontournable ! Merci encore pour ce super séjour ! Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique dans votre charmante villa. Tant de choses à faire, tant d'options pour se détendre et passer de bonnes vacances. Les installations étaient fabuleuses, j'ai adoré la piscine et les vignes près de la piscine. Beaucoup de charmants villages à proximité et de visites au café local pour dîner. Notre aventure ici et les cloches de l'horloge vont nous manquer. Merci. Au revoir.
What a delight! The two bedroom cottage was very spacious and comfortable - actually seemed bigger than the photos depict. Our hosts couldn't have been more welcoming and supportive and had a genuine interest in making our stay as enjoyable as possible, from recommendations and help with reservations at wonderful local restaurants, to suggestions for local sites to visit, to making sure we were comfortable when we experienced some inclement weather. We would love to return and highly recommend this unique property to anyone planning to spend time touring the gorgeous Dordogne area.

Spent a lovely week here, Lived up to all our expectations. Wonderful setting with splendid views. Plenty of room to seat all of us for breakfast, lunch and dinner, in the sun or shade. The house wanted for nothing.
The property is beautiful - plenty of stylish, open space for a large group to have both together time and also their own space. Outdoor areas are fantastic and beds super comfy!
As our week draws to a close I wanted to drop you a quick note to thank you both for another fabulous week staying in your lovely house. As with last year, we have thoroughly enjoyed our time, both chilling around the pool and house as well as exploring the local area - so many treats to be found.
We are sad to leave this lovely château after such a great holiday. The heatwave was unexpected but the pool kept us cool. Melissa and Charlotte were lovely and have kept the château very clean and tidy. The château was very well equipped and we were all very relaxed here. I loved walking into the village to the boulangerie each morning to buy breakfast and have a coffee on the way back! Najac is beautiful and we hope to return. Had a great holiday. Thank you x

Beautiful property in a great corner of France. The house was immaculate and had everything we could possibly need. It is a short walk or bike ride from the village and there are endless options of exploring Le Var further afield. We'd definitely return. Thanks!
Nous avons récemment passé de merveilleuses vacances en famille à Pearl Azure. La propriété était impeccable et les propriétaires avaient pensé à tout ce dont nous pouvions avoir besoin. La maison était très spacieuse et bien équipée. Il a fait très chaud pendant notre séjour : nous avons donc apprécié la climatisation très efficace ainsi que les moments de détente dans la piscine pour nous rafraîchir. L'emplacement était idéal et nous a permis de visiter de nombreux endroits le long de la côte et des villages perchés, soit en transports en commun (train et bus), soit en Uber, sans avoir besoin de voiture. Nous avons dîné dans d'excellents restaurants locaux, mais nous avons aussi bien profité du barbecue à gaz pour prendre nos repas sur la terrasse. La maison est située dans un quartier résidentiel calme : la gare et un grand supermarché sont accessibles en 10 minutes de marche, et la plage se trouve à 15 minutes à pied. L'aéroport de Nice n'est qu'à une courte distance en voiture. En résumé, ce fut un excellent séjour.
Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique. La maison est absolument superbe, la piscine et le jardin également. Sarlat est superbe avec son centre ancien bien conservé. Nous avons adoré nous y promener et déguster de bons repas dans les restaurants (il y en a beaucoup).
If / when we return to continue exploring this lovely area of France, we would hope to be able to stay in 'The Loft'. Russell and Karen have been very welcoming and helpful, but unobtrusive and nothing seems too much trouble. Perfect hosts! Sad to be leaving after only a week.

Je voulais juste vous remercier pour ces 2 semaines merveilleuses dans votre charmante maison. Il y a tant à faire dans la région ! C'était très amusant.
Une expérience tellement incroyable! Nous avons vécu une fantastique expérience aux Fumerates. L'endroit est d'une propreté éclatante, les équipements sont haut de gamme et la vue depuis la piscine à débordement est magnifique. Nous étions un peu fatigués quand nous sommes arrivés le premier jour et avons fini par passer la soirée à la villa, en prenant quelques verres dans le jardin, avec vue sur la piscine et ce fut une expérience tellement incroyable. Les hôtes ont beaucoup réfléchi aux arrangements et cela se voit. Nous recommandons fortement.
A fantastic place to be, hosts are very friendly and helpful. The gîtes are beautiful decorated and the view is stunning. We had a great time and I would not hesitate to book this beautiful domaine for a holiday again. I wrote a comment in the guestbook to encourage other people to spend their vacation at L'Oliveraie.

We had a fabulous time staying in this very stylish and well equipped house, enjoying both the heat wave and the incredible storm. We loved the swimming pool and the pool and table tennis tables. We visited Vaison la Romaine and Avignon and enjoyed both of them. The market in Nyons was very impressive and very busy, so it was worth going early. We loved eating at the resto des arts in Nyons particulary enjoying the ravioli. Thank you for letting us stay at your lovely house it is quite stunning.
Nous tenons à vous dire combien nous avons apprécié La Cigalière. La maison et la piscine étaient agréables. Charlotte a été très serviable et tout était parfait pour nos vacances. Les points forts étaient : la piscine, Pézenas, les habitants de Servian tellement sympathiques et le tennis de table qui a nous procuré de nombreuses heures de plaisir et de rires.
