The highlights for me were swimming lengths in the warm pool, strolling around the beautiful garden with all the different types of trees (olive, fig, pomegranate etc) and exploring the delightful surrounding Provence countryside in its full glory. Despite being a large group of people, the house always felt cool and spacious and the amenities functioned perfectly. There is also a marvellous restaurant within walking distance. Thank you again for making my holiday so enjoyable.
We feel very fortunate to have enjoyed our third visit to the lovely Loft du Vigneron! It has been great to see the Minervois region in a different season. As always, we have marvelled at all you are doing next door and can't wait to see the end result. Thank you for your company, generosity and friendship.
The most tranquil spot to spend a holiday next to a perfect pool, eating, drinking and relaxing. Stunning house and gardens, we didn't want to leave.
Quelle belle maison bien aménagée dans un endroit magnifique. Malgré un peu de pluie, nos invités et nous avons énormément apprécié notre séjour de deux semaines. Merci aux propriétaires qui ont été des hôtes parfaits - serviables, sympathiques et disponibles en cas de besoin, sans empiéter d'un pouce sur notre intimité. Nous n'aurions pas pu demander mieux, ni à Pure France ni au Domaine de Nérige. Vous avez conçu la maison de vacances parfaite et nous et nos invités aurions été heureux de pouvoir rester plus longtemps, beaucoup plus longtemps. Quel beau séjour nous avons passé ! Nos vacances de deux semaines au Petit Pigeonnier n'auraient pas pu être mieux. Comme d'autres l'ont dit, l'emplacement est un mélange parfait de calme rural et de paix, tout en étant assez proche d'une excellente boulangerie et d'un magasin pratique. Si vous avez la chance d'y passer vos vacances, ne manquez pas les merveilleux restaurants à proximité. Debbie est l'hôte la plus incroyable, toujours là quand vous avez besoin d'elle et très discrète. Ses suggestions réfléchies et bien informées ont grandement amélioré notre agréable expérience.
We had the most wonderful week at Les Rocans last week. Please would you pass this on to the owners. We have stayed in France annually and many times in between, over the past 45 years and Les Rocans beats them all for outlook, atmosphere, amenities, beauty and suitability for our growing family. We all just loved it!

Nous avons réellement passé une belle semaine au Château Richelieu pour nos noces d'or. Nous ne pouvions rêver mieux. Merci! Cela a dépassé toutes nos attentes.
What a most wonderful place to stay. We were with a group of great friends. Didn't know what to expect... but Château Entre-Deux-Mers was mind blowing! The owner had been informing us correctly with all the necessary information we needed in advance. We have enjoyed the beautiful decorated château from the beginning till the end. It is the proof of how a classical building can be reinvented by a good decorator. The kitchen, dining room, living room and all the rooms with their bathrooms were beautiful. The dinner and the breakfast we ordered, were delicious. And the service was elegant and discrete. A true recommendation to go again!
Beautifully renovated Villa. Well equipped kitchen, large pool and lots of ensuite bedrooms. Has everything to keep you entertained whether it’s full sunshine or rain. The owners were super helpful and always a text away if we needed anything. Small town nearby and a big supermarket 5 minutes drive away. We would definitely stay again in the future!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié vos efforts pour trouver une chaise haute pour Hatta, qui a passé ses premières vraies vacances. De merveilleuses vacances en famille dont nous nous souviendrons toujours. Notre moment préféré a été de jouer dans la piscine. Nous avons apprécié Aubeterre et son église souterraine, Brantôme et le marché de Ribérac.

First things first - Karen, Russell and the girls (Mack and Mabel) are wonderful hosts. Warm, friendly, thoughtful and yet discreet. They love what they're doing and it shows as nothing is too much trouble. Their enthusiasm for their ventures (current and future) is infectious. Secondly is the 'Loft du Vigneron' - a fabulous property offering everything - and more - that you could hope for. Karen and Russell's sense of style has been imprinted on it and their attention to detail has left nothing wanting. Every comfort has been considered from the fabulous welcoming pack to 'The White Company' range of toiletries. The terrace was our favourite place with the sun streaming through the roof and the warm breeze cooling us down. Rieux-Minervois is a typical French village and perfectly situated to explore the entire Minervois region from Carcassonne in the West, East to the Mediterranean, and all the lovely historical villages North and South. In conclusion, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful property with the perfect hosts - highly recommended without hesitation. Our very best wishes for every success in you new venture. Salut, je n'arrive pas à réaliser que les 3 semaines sont déjà écoulées ! Nous avons passé un fantastique séjour dans votre maison, tout particulièrement avec ce temps typique de la Côte d'Azur cette semaine.
The house is great for a large group and the surroundings are really beautiful. The fig and almond trees in the gardens were in full fruit too. The pool area would benefit from shade such as the awning in the online picture. The weather was very hot while we were there and the upstairs bedrooms were uncomfortably warm. Take not that the a/c is only in the living area.
Stunning château in rural France. In August this year we made our 3rd visit to Château Velouse with a group of friends and once again had a wonderful time. The first time we flew to Paris and hired a car but found it more economical to take a ferry - crossing to Dieppe last year and Calais in August. Easy drive on all occasions. Location is in a beautiful rural area steeped in history and close to the Loire with its majestic châteaux and extensive forests. Medieval Bourge, only a few miles away, is very well worth several visits – the acoustics in the cathedral are amazing. The surrounding area is reasonably flat and so an ideal centre for cycling on very quiet roads and off road tracks. The communal areas and bedrooms in the château are impressive and very classy. The pool area is an ideal centre for complete relaxation. Pool is clean and well maintained. The hosts are extremely welcoming and friendly - very attentive to our needs and not obtrusive. Well worth a visit.
Nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances à la villa. La villa est idéale, spacieuse et joliment décorée. Les enfants ont adoré la piscine et la table de ping-pong ! C'est une base idéale pour visiter la région. Le marché de Pézenas est à ne pas manquer. Nous avons navigué sur bateau, monté des chevaux, loué des vélos à Marseillan et vu des flamants roses ! Nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances ici dans la magnifique ville de Sarlat. La maison est parfaite avec de beaux meubles, une cuisine bien équipée et des douches incroyables. La piscine était exactement ce dont nous avions besoin après de longues journées passées à explorer les merveilleux sites de la Dordogne (le Gouffre de Padirac étant une visite majeure). L'emplacement de la maison est parfait, à distance de marche de la ville mais très paisible, entouré d'un beau jardin arboré. Nous espérons revenir l'année prochaine. Merci Jackie et Geoff pour ces merveilleuses vacances.
Les superlatifs manquent. Un moment extraordinaire en famille — nous étions 18, âgés de 72 ans à 8 mois.

Narbonne is a classic, small French city. The villa is a perfect match and then some - more spacious than the pictures suggest and terrific spaces both outdoor and in. Well be back for more visits and more wine!
We stayed in the Maison des Artistes for 2 weeks at the end of June and had a fantastic holiday. There were 5 adults and 2 kids in our party and the house had plenty of room for everyone’s differing needs. The photos of the listing are absolutely spot on in terms of accuracy! The outside space really is big. It had plenty of chairs/loungers/covered day beds. Fantastic outside table for al fresco eating. The pool was beautiful. We had a couple of minor issues with the pool during our stay due to a couple of severe storms in the area but Colin and Mel were very prompt at dealing with these. The gas BBQ was spotlessly clean when we arrived, which you often find to not be the case. Internally there is air conditioning in each room. The whole house has electric shutters which are great for blackout blinds to get some good sleep and also keep the house cooler. Beds very comfortable, nice linen wear on all beds. Towels were all brand new. Generous and lovely welcome basket was there for us on arrival. Colin and Mel met us on arrival at the property and gave us a very quick run down and left us to it. They were a pleasure to deal with throughout our stay when we did have any queries or minor issues. Kitchen was very well equipped for large parties, loads of plates, utensils, cookware etc. Good supply of kitchen basics. Lovely toiletries in bathrooms. Very quiet peaceful location. In summary one of the best properties we have ever stayed in over many years of holidaying abroad
