Love love love this beautiful village house, its exquisite interiors and wild back garden, pool and cow fields beyond in a simple hamlet, deep in unspoilt pastoral countryside.
Our stay here was the highlight of our recent trip to the South of France. From the minute we drove through the gates we were impressed by the beautiful gardens, house and pool. It is truly a magnificent French retreat and estate. I couldn't recommend the house more highly and I am already planning another trip there soon.

Merci de nous avoir ouvert votre extraordinaire demeure à notre grande famille. Nos vacances au Château Périgord ont dépassé toutes nos attentes. La beauté de la région et de votre maison sont de parfaits compliments. Nous avons aimé faire nos courses sur les marchés locaux et cuisiner ensemble dans la cuisine accueillante. Nous avons adoré notre temps passé dans la piscine et à jouer au badminton, ainsi que le temps à simplement profiter de ce cadre agréable et de ces vues. Nous avons exploré des grottes préhistoriques et des villages médiévaux, nous avons dégusté des vins de la région, visité des châteaux célèbres, descendu la rivière Dordogne en canoë et avons toujours terminé la journée impatients de revenir et de profiter du Château Périgord.
Nous avons passé des moments formidables ici ! Emplacement et hébergement merveilleux. Les vues sont à couper le souffle. Découvrez le Grand Café d'Occitanie et Carcassonne est un site incontournable ! Merci beaucoup, à bientôt !
We adored our stay at this charming renovated farmhouse, with views to keep in our memory forever. This house truly suited our family with our two sons, partners and grandchildren. The kitchen was excellent and overall the house had every facility we would look for, the pool and table tennis rooms were regularly in the daily family tournaments, that took place. Sitting outside at the covered dining table for breakfast and evening meals was a great pleasure daily. The swimming pool has sun for the majority of the day so keeps a good temperature for swimming and the steps enabled our grandson to build his water confidence. The Thursday market in Nyons is excellent and Vaison le romaine is full of history. Les Marquises is one of our favourite holiday experiences, great location and great house.

Tiraillés entre la campagne, les châteaux, les vignobles, les marchés et la marche, le canoë, la baignade, ou la simple détente dans le jardin au bord de la piscine : trop de choix ! Merci également pour la bouteille de pétillant à notre arrivée et la touche personnelle de roses dans chaque chambre - tout a été très apprécié !
Mia, 7 years old We have had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful house. I loved playing in the swimming pool with my nanny, grandad, sister and my 2 cousins. The market in Duras is definitely worth a visit with lots of lovely things to see and buy. I hope you will enjoy your stay as much as we have.
Merci d'avoir partagé avec nous cette charmante oasis à Sarlat. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre semaine ici. La maison est tout simplement parfaite et l'emplacement incroyable. Les points forts incluent : La ville de Sarlat elle-même, le Gouffre de Padirac, Domme, Rocamadour, le canoë sur la Dordogne, la visite de Beynac et Castlenaud et bien sûr la piscine ! Nous avons passé des vacances fantastiques et inoubliables et espérons y retourner.
We had a wonderful holiday at Maison Emz. Jacky and Anne are the perfect hosts, being friendly, helpful and keen to allow us to have a good vacation. Maison Emz is a beautiful house with excellent facilities and is beautifully decorated and equipped. The outside spaces and pool area provide a lovely environment to relax. The house location, in a quiet rural area but with the good local town of Goudargues and other interesting towns and villages within easy reach, is a great place to enjoy two weeks in the sun.

Hébergement extrêmement confortable et élégant dans des bâtiments anciens rénovés. Bel espace piscine à quelques pas d'un hébergement indépendant. Très calme, parfait pour des familles ou des couples. À quelques pas de Montsoreau pour la baguette du matin et une petite épicerie. Cet endroit a tout : lits confortables, bonne connexion Wi-Fi et cuisine équipée. Excellent emplacement dans la vallée de la Loire pour faire du tourisme ou se détendre au bord de la piscine.
Votre belle maison est très bien équipée, le dossier d'information est très utile ... un beau premier séjour pour découvrir la France rurale. La région est vraiment spectaculaire...
What can I say but awesome. We all arrived at the same time to drive up the long drive to the picturesque château. Obviously we had seen pictures but they did not do it justice. We were met with a glass of bubbly and were shown around the property. It was like being shown around a personal home rather than a holiday rental property. There was everything you could want for a relaxing holiday for our two families, including a tennis court, swimming pool, snooker / pool table, croquet set and the all important ice machine as we were in the middle of a heat wave. All the rooms were luxurious with all but one bedroom (which had it's own bathroom) having ensuite bathrooms and the two main bedrooms having dressing rooms as well. The grounds were spectacular and there was even gorgeous little chapel. The best endorsement I can give is that we were all discussing how we could come back next year. Located in a beautiful environment by the Canal du Midi in a small village full of charm with its small stone bridge, restaurants and this incredible bookstore, this accommodation is perfect. Beautiful bedrooms with their own very spacious bathrooms, a very warm living room with its fireplace, beautiful ceiling height, a well-equipped open kitchen and pretty beams. A nice pool area, a large garden, lovely terrace are also worth highlighting. The hospitality is perfect. I highly recommend it.
We travelled to this beautiful villa with friends for 6 nights and our stay was truly wonderful. We were fortunate with the weather most days so managed to enjoy some of the many amenities the villa has to offer including swimming and sunbathing by the pool, playing croquet and pétanque! We also ate outside on the veranda every day, enjoying the BBQ and the good weather. The villa had so much to offer. We had two days when the weather was not so good and were kept busy by the games rooms downstairs – we made great use of the pool table and projector for playing music, movies and watching sports, it really was a lifesaver on one particularly cloudy day. On arrival the villa was clean and the villa handbook was most helpful to support us settling in, additionally the host was quick to respond and always willing to help with our queries. The villa offers great privacy with peaceful surroundings and allowed us to relax away from others. The village is a short walk away and we enjoyed lunch there on our final day at the restaurant which is also worth a try. On specific days there were gourmet food trucks that stopped by in the village offering various sweet and savoury items – we tried the crepes which were lovely and a nice treat after an evening walk around the river and church in lovely Buzet. We loved everything about the place, I would highly recommend this to both friend groups and families.

Notre 60e anniversaire de mariage, réunissant un clan de 3 générations ... et ... Richard et Gay nous ont royalement reçus dans leur «nouvelle» maison. Comment peuvent-ils supporter de quitter Le Malardier? ... Le grand avantage était l'absence quasi totale de guêpes et de mouches. À bientôt pour le 65e!

Absolutely loved our stay at Le Séchoir Carme! It’s a fab barn conversion (decorated to a high spec) with lots of space inside and out. The pool is a great size too, if you want to get some lengths in! I would also recommend the night markets which are held in many local villages and are so much fun!
Nous avons passé un agréable séjour, la région est magnifique et révèle quelques trésors. À vous de les découvrir !!! Beaucoup d'activités à faire (poney, balade en bateau, Europarc, Lunaparc, jetski, visites de villes: Béziers, Cap d'Agde, Valras Plage... Mais notre séjour n'aurait pas été complet sans parler de cette merveilleuse villa qui offre un confort incroyable. La piscine est géniale et pour la détente, c'est le top ! Merci au personnel. Merci aux propriétaires qui comprennent les plaisirs de leurs locataires. Un grand merci!
Central location, great stay. The villa was huge and could easily accommodate larger groups than our three couples. The grounds were expansive and well suited for outside leisure and dining. The Rully location was super both in terms of accessing everything that Burgundy region has to offer as well as for enjoying local amenities such as bakeries, restaurant, wineries, etc. Sigrid was extremely helpful throughout the whole vacation process. A hugely enjoyable week.
