Merci beaucoup d'avoir partagé ce merveilleux endroit. Nous avons passé des vacances incroyablement reposantes. Les enfants ont adoré la piscine et explorer le jardin. Merci ! Il y a tellement de moments préférés, mais la piscine en fait assurément partie ! Brantôme - Le kayak était fabuleux ! Aubeterre-sur-Dronne le soir est aussi un incontournable !
Nous attendions beaucoup de ces vacances et nous n'avons pas été déçus. La propriété est un véritable joyau historique dans une région chargée d'histoire. Dès notre arrivée, accueillis par un couple avec qui vous sembliez être amis depuis toujours, le stress du quotidien s'est envolé. Nous nous sommes immédiatement sentis comme chez nous et avons rapidement planifié notre prochain séjour. De l'extérieur, le gîte est digne d'une carte postale et aucun détail n'a été négligé. L'intérieur conserve son charme historique, tout en offrant toutes les commodités nécessaires pour vous éviter de vivre le style de vie médiéval de nombreux hébergements ruraux en France. Les chambres sont joliment décorées avec goût et disposent de grandes salles de bain et douches (à l'étage et au rez-de-chaussée). La piscine privée est superbe et nous en étions les seuls occupants. Ses eaux claires, sous les pins et sous un ciel bleu, étaient idylliques. Difficile de détacher ma femme du bord de la piscine. Le gîte s'intègre parfaitement dans une région d'une beauté exceptionnelle, où la plupart des sites que nous souhaitions visiter se trouvent à seulement quelques minutes. Les propriétaires étaient très accueillants et nous ont donné de bons conseils sur les lieux à visiter, sans être envahissants, ce qui nous a permis de profiter d'une intimité totale. Nous avons apprécié chaque instant de notre séjour et nous le recommandons chaudement. Si vous souhaitez visiter la région, découvrir les 1 000 châteaux et les innombrables sites préhistoriques, ou simplement vous détendre au bord de la piscine, cet endroit est fait pour vous. We stayed in Maison Rohmer for 11 nights in June and thoroughly enjoyed the house and peaceful setting at the end of a private track. Everything was very clean and well furnished with excellent bathrooms and plenty of hot water. We swam in the pool every day bar one, when there was a big thunderstorm that drenched the area and had a strange effect of gradually turning the colour of the water in the pool to green, but was perfectly ok to swim in. The owner was on hand to answer any queries we had despite being in the USA at the time of our stay, something that we both appreciated greatly. Gordes and the area around was lovely with so many beautiful towns and villages to explore on foot or bike or car, a great area of France to return to again.

Best villa in 15 years of visiting France. Pool was wonderful and essential for cooling off when the temperatures exceeded 30 degrees. Super area for cycling and hiking. Best meal was at L'Aspargus (Valros) - well worth the drive. Best meals in Pézenas at Les Marronniers.
We had a great time at Fontalbe with our 3 generations of family. The house and the gardens are stunning.

Our weeks stay at Les Marquises was exceptional, this is due to the skilful combination of old and new, colour and light, greenery and shadow combined in a tasteful and harmonious style that characterises the interior of the house and its domain. When you stay in such a place, even for only one week, a place that was restored, recreated and maintained with so much love, you can only love it back, the house, garden, the scenery creates a rare feeling of magic that will stay with us. We felt wonderful and grateful to be guests at the house. Thank you.
Maison Palatini was just perfect – we really had a most wonderful, relaxing stay. The house is beautiful and so well equipped and a great location just a stroll from the fascinating old town of Pézenas
Breathtaking. What a hidden gem! All the fotos of Château Velouse do not do the place justice. From the minute you enter the gates and see this magnificent château, glowing in the sunshine at the end of a sweeping drive, you know you are in for a treat. Our wonderful hosts. Claire and Phil greeted us and gave us a tour of the main building and grounds. The interior is exquisitely appointed. All the rooms are large and meticulously clean. The bedrooms are huge and comfortable without being over-fussy. The bathroom - lion clawed bath and walk-in shower - what more could you ask for after a hard day sitting beside the spotlessly clean and well-maintained outdoor pool. There's plenty of places within an hour to explore close by, so if sun-worshipping isn't your thing, like me, go to Bourges and wander around this medieval city, All in all, Château Velouse is an experience I'll never forget and one I hope to revisit
We arrived at a large house that matched well and even more to what the photos showed. This is the first time we have found a vacation rental with so many dishes and kitchen supplies. As we were a large family with a few small children, this environment greatly favored the well-being of our stay. We sincerely thank our host for this generous sharing.

Les vues étaient incroyables aussi bien depuis la maison que de la piscine. Nous sommes partis revigorés.
A fantastic house and a credit to the owner, the facilities are superb and could not be bettered. The area around Nyons is beautiful, we are familiar with Beaume de Venise, but this part has a charm of its own. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this premier class house.
We have had the most fabulous time staying in the Loft du Vigneron this past week. We have booked through Pure France for four or five years and this place is by far the highest standard of accommodation that we have experienced. Every detail has been catered for. Everything that we needed for the week was at hand. We really enjoyed meeting you both and our kids thought that you were so nice and welcoming, and Kate really appreciated the lovely touch of the pool noodles! We wish you both health, happiness and best wishes for the future, and we really hope to revisit again in the future. Many thanks for everything - you are 'best in class' hosts.
Nous avons séjourné pour la quatrième fois ici à Saint-Amand de Coly. Nous avons passé une belle semaine ensoleillée et un excellent séjour à la Maison Amand. La cuisine est parfaitement équipée. Merci beaucoup! Nous reviendrons et resterons plus longtemps.

We had a fabulous time staying in this very stylish and well equipped house, enjoying both the heat wave and the incredible storm. We loved the swimming pool and the pool and table tennis tables. We visited Vaison la Romaine and Avignon and enjoyed both of them. The market in Nyons was very impressive and very busy, so it was worth going early. We loved eating at the resto des arts in Nyons particulary enjoying the ravioli. Thank you for letting us stay at your lovely house it is quite stunning.

Nous avons apprécié de nous détendre au bord de la piscine lors des journées chaudes et ensoleillées et de faire des barbecues le soir en regardant les couchers de soleil. J'adorerais revenir avec mes sœurs à un moment donné.

A delightful week spent in a beautiful corner of France. We are at least 20Kg heavier! (Shared between four people, in our defence). Extremely comfortable and tasteful accommodation - thank you for the warm welcome.
After 2.5 years in the making, everything conspired against us. Well worth the wait! The Loft is exactly as expected and the welcome even better! We loved the ambiance, the garden and the area after the last months of lockdown etc - it has been wonderful. We cannot thank you enough for your generosity - the mobility aid was indispensable and the evening spent getting to know you both was great. Can we also thank you for your incredibly comprehensive welcome pack. We enjoy cooking and we’re very grateful for the extras. Thank you Karen, for delivery on day one - BREAKFAST WAS BRILLIANT! We have really enjoyed the garden - a lot of hard work, we know, but much appreciated. We do hope we keep in touch as we will miss Russell’s lengthy epistles - always a good read! He should write a book; maybe the history of your home with the trials and tribulations of renovating thrown in (‘A Year - or Two - in Minervois’, perhaps?). If you are ever back in the region, you know where we are!
This was our first holiday with our girls aged 2 years and 9 months. They had an amazing time! What a welcoming, beautiful place this is. Thank you so much for opening your home for us to share. It was the perfect place for our extended family to be together. Thank you for this fabulous experience.
Simply a wonderful holiday, house and village We're just back from spending a week in this fabulous house in a great little village. The house had everything to make our stay totally comfortable with loads of space for our party of two couples and could have accommodated two or three more people easily. The pool and pool area were great with plenty of loungers and seating with a nice shaded area for refuge from the sun at the hight of the afternoon but best of all there is a great terrace where we spent the warm evenings with a glass or three of our favourite tipple. We were able to join in the fun and celebrations in the local bars as France progressed in the World Cup, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The village itself has all we would want bakeries, a couple of bars and restaurants with pretty good food and all just 1 to 2 minutes walk from the house, there is even a good supermarket 5 minutes walk away. All in all we had a great holiday and can't wait to go back next year, 5 stars from us.
We have had the most delightful holiday! It began with your friendly and welcoming e-mails well before we got here! We have self-catered across Europe in some pretty good places but none quite so lovely as 'The Loft'. The way you prepared it for our arrival, and your warm and generous welcome was simply stunning! We have since enjoyed the quality and comfort of this 'home from home', and your thoughtful attention to all those little details that have made our stay so very special. Our celebration 'bubbly' and delicious cake was a complete surprise and a real treat. We have wondered how it has taken us quite so long to discover the Languedoc, Occitanie! From our all too brief stay we have seen some of the most beautiful countryside, enjoyed the wines and food and visited some of the prettiest towns and villages (many thanks for the suggestion of the Sunday market at Saint-Chinian - what a delight!). We have no doubt that we'll be back and thank you again so much for making us feel so welcome.
