Nous avons adoré la villa et y avons passé de superbes vacances !
Anthony and Rachel make wonderful hosts being friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and also very generous with their excellent "welcome pack". We loved the whole region: Carcassonne and Mirepoix are a "must" (the owners of the "Mad Hatter" cafe in Mirepoix are Brits) and we enjoyed the markets at Mirepoix and Revel. Also enjoyed the drive south from Revel through the pretty villages/small town of Saissac. Lagrasse is a pleasant village but a tad overrated in our view. On the other hand, we loved Minerve and the Minervois region including the small town of Caunes-Minervois. Fontfroide is worth a visit and Montesegur is a must if in that area. We enjoyed Peyriac de-Mer and Gruissan on the coast but would avoid Narbonne Plage on another occasion - great beach though! Toulouse is a pleasant city and worth a visit if cities are "your thing" and the SNCF smartphone app worked brilliantly. For a special lunch, Cote Resto is a must. Excellent food and in a wonderful setting.
Séjour fantastique - groupe de 10 adultes et 10 enfants. Excellente configuration pour bien divertir les deux groupes et quelques surprises supplémentaires comme une aire de jeux à côté de l'une des terrasses extérieures. La salle de sport et la piscine sont toutes deux immenses, la dernière nous gardant au frais pendant les chauds après-midi. Les propriétaires nous ont également aidés à organiser les services d'un cuisinier local pour certains soirs et ceux d'un producteur de vin local pour une dégustation de vin.
Thank you, what an amazing holiday we’ve had in your wonderful house, from the swimming pool to the table tennis room and family boule tournaments, we’ve had great fun. We loved. We loved swimming in the river in Nyons and the massive markets. A lovely windy trip up to mount Ventoux with amazing views and cheering on the cyclists!. Vaison la romaine was a nice morning out with the Roman remains and finally a quick wine tasting (and purchase) at Domaine du Tave with Audrey finished it off nicely. Thanks again,
We had to wait a long time for our much anticipated return visit to your wonderful villa - and it did not disappoint. We have had the best time, Sophia enjoyed the pool (as we all did). Great place to explore this fabulous area, a boat trip to Saint-Tropez and Port Grimaud plus two beaches. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful home with us. We look forward to coming back for a third time.
Nous avons passé une agréable quinzaine ici à Bessan. La maison était confortable et paisible. Le temps a été magnifique pendant tout notre séjour, contrairement au Royaume-Uni ! Nous avons apprécié les villes voisines, notamment Agde. Nous nous souviendrons de ces vacances et ne voulons pas rentrer à la maison cet après-midi. Merci beaucoup.
Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine en famille. La maison est bien équipée et la piscine est très bien. Pas de bruit la nuit pour un sommeil impeccable. Restaurant à proximité, boulangerie etc... La mer est à proximité. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.
Mon mari et moi avons passé une semaine merveilleuse à la Maison Estephe. Quelle magnifique maison, c'était très agréable de séjourner dans une maison insolite! Nous avions tout ce dont nous avions besoin et la maison était très bien rangée et propre. Merci encore de nous avoir permis de rester chez vous.
Notre deuxième séjour, nous avons beaucoup apprécié nos vacances. Accueil chaleureux et bon service ! Et bien sûr, une belle maison et un jardin. Merci! À plus tard.
Fantastic time in this great house and location. 2 weeks of rest, relaxation and fun with the kids and extended family. Thank you. What a wonderful place! So much for the kids to do - swimngs, slide, trampoline, swimming and may runing races, lots of yumy wines and cheese. Two scrumptious meals cooked by Tim and Ali. Very tempted to return next year! Thank you. What an amazing find, fantastic location and beautiful house. We had an awesome 2 weeks with extended family and friends. Great hospitality from Tim and Ali. Thanks a million. We celebrated a week's holiday with 6 adult children and 2 grandchildren. The house is equipped with all modern conveniences, has a beautiful and complete interior, but still has an authentic appearance. The space in and around the house is gigantic and there is plenty of entertainment for everyone: from a nice swimming pool with many sun loungers to a room with numerous games and a good tennis court. Highly recommended for a family holiday. We will definitely go back again.
As we leave les rocans, I must say that you have a beautiful house. We have enjoyed our stay immensely. Loved the country decor and the views. We will remember the stay there and will recommend it to our circle of friends.

Excellent. Nous avons passé un trés bon séjour. La villa est trés bien équipée, vaisselle, ustensile tout est présent. Une vue panoramique exceptionnelle sur les vignes depuis la maison et la piscine. Accueil chaleureux à notre arrivée et repos garanties au milieu des vignes.
Our 2nd visit to Mas de Lozanne and it certainly didn't disappoint. The extreme heat curtailed some outings, but the pool area was a haven! We still managed daily coffees in Café d'Art and a couple of early evening drinks. We made good use of the barbecue. Pezanas keeps on giving and this house, nestled in the vines, is a delight! Très bien situé, sur la plage avec un excellent accès aux diverses activités. Le stationnement est super. Tout était parfait, depuis les communications préalables jusqu'au contrôle de départ. J'ai adoré l'appartement et l'ambiance générale et pouvoir rester sur la plage avec toutes les activités amusantes, les magasins et les marchés. Idéal pour marcher. La plage et l'eau sont fantastiques !! L'appartement est parfait. Appartement impeccable, très bien situé. Très central par rapport à tout ce que vous pourriez souhaiter.
Nous louons des villas dans le sud de la France depuis plus de 20 ans et nous pouvons dire que le propriétaire de la Maison des Communes a été le meilleur hôte que nous ayons jamais eu. Des cadeaux de bienvenue très généreux aux livraisons de petit-déjeuner deux fois par semaine en passant par l'excellent repas au Pourquoi Pas, il n'aurait pas pu faire plus pour nous. La maison est idéalement située, dispose d'une belle piscine et de vélos robustes. Nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir à parcourir les vignobles à vélo jusqu'à Montady, Capestang, Cazouls et aussi le long du Canal du Midi. Un endroit idéal pour un groupe d'amis en vacances prolongées. Merci beaucoup.
Ce lieu va nous manquer jusqu'à ce qu'on ait l'occasion d'y retourner. Génial.
We arrived late afternoon and were met by Yvonne who gave us a lovely tour of this beautiful stunning house, such a lovely welcome. I love all of the lovely antique finds in all of the rooms from the hats in the master bedroom to the old magazines to the pram in the barn. Everything has been thought of here we really didn't need a thing. Would really recommend a trip to La Rochelle but you would need to leave early it really does get very busy. We have been truly spoilt staying here. Impeccably clean and tidy, we have loved every minute. We'd love to come back.
La Charmante Distillerie est un merveilleux lieu de vacances. Située au cœur de la campagne française, à 10 minutes d'une jolie ville animée. Mark et Gary sont des hôtes parfaits, discrets et toujours disponibles pour nous conseiller sur les sites touristiques et les restaurants locaux ou nous aider. L'intérieur est élégant, les œuvres d'art magnifiques, le mobilier très confortable et les chambres parfaites. Six adultes et trois enfants ont occupé la propriété pendant une semaine. Les hôtes ont répondu à tous nos besoins, allant même jusqu'à acheter de nouveaux jouets pour notre petit-fils de 9 mois. À aucun moment, La Distillerie ne nous a semblé bondée. La piscine était chauffée et mes trois petits-enfants nageaient et jouaient sans cesse dans l'aire de jeux dédiée. Ma famille et moi recommandons sans hésiter La Charmante Distillerie.

We have been renting in France for 5 years now and this is the best villa we have stayed in. Attention to detail throughout and a lovely garden and pool area which the children loved. The local village is so picturesque with fabulous restaurants.
La maison était incroyable, nous y sommes allés en groupe, 6 adultes et 2 bébés et nous avons tous adoré la maison. Les photos sont fidèles à la réalité. La piscine est belle et parfaite pour les enfants car la partie profonde est encore suffisamment peu profonde pour qu'un adulte puisse se tenir debout. La cuisine est bien équipée et idéale pour cuisiner, il y a aussi un bon barbecue à l'extérieur. Le village local possède une charmante boulangerie, une boucherie et une petite boutique. Monpazier est à seulement 20 minutes en voiture et Fumel à seulement 20 minutes, où se trouve un grand supermarché. Samantha est une hôte formidable, elle était là pour tout ce dont nous avions besoin et nous a même réservé des massages. Nous reviendrons certainement dans la maison de Samantha, merci d'avoir rendu nos premières vacances en 4 ans si spéciales.

We utterly love everything about this beautiful house and its tranquil setting. We hope to return someday and will keep fond and happy memories of our stay.
We stayed in the Maison des Artistes for 2 weeks at the end of June and had a fantastic holiday. There were 5 adults and 2 kids in our party and the house had plenty of room for everyone’s differing needs. The photos of the listing are absolutely spot on in terms of accuracy! The outside space really is big. It had plenty of chairs/loungers/covered day beds. Fantastic outside table for al fresco eating. The pool was beautiful. We had a couple of minor issues with the pool during our stay due to a couple of severe storms in the area but Colin and Mel were very prompt at dealing with these. The gas BBQ was spotlessly clean when we arrived, which you often find to not be the case. Internally there is air conditioning in each room. The whole house has electric shutters which are great for blackout blinds to get some good sleep and also keep the house cooler. Beds very comfortable, nice linen wear on all beds. Towels were all brand new. Generous and lovely welcome basket was there for us on arrival. Colin and Mel met us on arrival at the property and gave us a very quick run down and left us to it. They were a pleasure to deal with throughout our stay when we did have any queries or minor issues. Kitchen was very well equipped for large parties, loads of plates, utensils, cookware etc. Good supply of kitchen basics. Lovely toiletries in bathrooms. Very quiet peaceful location. In summary one of the best properties we have ever stayed in over many years of holidaying abroad
