La Charmante Distillerie est un merveilleux lieu de vacances. Située au cœur de la campagne française, à 10 minutes d'une jolie ville animée. Mark et Gary sont des hôtes parfaits, discrets et toujours disponibles pour nous conseiller sur les sites touristiques et les restaurants locaux ou nous aider. L'intérieur est élégant, les œuvres d'art magnifiques, le mobilier très confortable et les chambres parfaites. Six adultes et trois enfants ont occupé la propriété pendant une semaine. Les hôtes ont répondu à tous nos besoins, allant même jusqu'à acheter de nouveaux jouets pour notre petit-fils de 9 mois. À aucun moment, La Distillerie ne nous a semblé bondée. La piscine était chauffée et mes trois petits-enfants nageaient et jouaient sans cesse dans l'aire de jeux dédiée. Ma famille et moi recommandons sans hésiter La Charmante Distillerie.

A challenging end of year led to my very last minute search for somewhere special to stay for Christmas. We jumped for joy when your Loft showed as available for 8 days arriving on Christmas Eve. Throughout the five hour drive from Cannes, I stressed about finding a tree and decorations to make the holiday perfect. To my utter AMAZEMENT, the Loft had been fully decorated beyond my wildest dreams. Thank you so much for all your very thoughtful and generous touches. As a seriously experienced traveller, I can assure you that exceptionally few hosts go to the same lengths as yourselves. You made our Christmas very SPECIAL and, dare I say, UNFORGETTABLE! Lovely house in nice authentic village. We really enjoyed staying in this house in Nissan. We especially loved the pool area and the terrace where we spent most of our time when we weren't out exploring the area. It's in a perfect location within a few minutes' walk from the town square with bars and a couple of pizza restaurants. There is a market 3 times a week, which we also really enjoyed. Paul who met us on arrival and was available throughout our stay for any questions is a really nice guy who speaks good English. It's within easy driving distance of Narbonne, Montpellier and Béziers and about 20 minutes from the beach. You can tell that this is a well-loved house by friendly owners Terry and Carol and we would recommend this house to anyone seeking an authentic French experience in comfortable surroundings.
Nous venons de profiter d'un séjour de deux semaines très relaxant et agréable au Mas Saint-Martial. La maison était très confortable avec une cuisine bien équipée. Le jardin est grand avec beaucoup d'ombre très agréable quand il fait chaud. La piscine est l'une des plus belles que nous ayons eu dans tous les gîtes où nous avons séjourné en France. Assez longue pour nager et faire de l'exercice et confortablement chaude. Les propriétaires vivent dans le bâtiment adjacent et étaient très accueillants et capables de conseiller sur les achats locaux, les restaurants, mais pas du tout intrusifs. C'est un coin tranquille de la France rurale, mais il y avait beaucoup à voir et à visiter localement, avec un accès facile à la boulangerie et aux magasins, et de bons restaurants à proximité. L'un des meilleurs rapports qualité-prix était le déjeuner dans le restaurant local de Saint Martial.

Nous avons pleinement profité de notre semaine dans ce magnifique cottage de conte de fées. Le cadre est superbe, des charmants jardins qui entourent la maison aux arbres gracieux qui entourent la piscine. La grande piscine était l'endroit idéal pour se détendre, malgré les températures qui ont dépassé les 40 °C cette semaine. Le cottage est frais et spacieux, et offre tout le confort nécessaire pour un séjour agréable. Son emplacement est également idéal pour explorer la région, riche en sites historiques intéressants et en villages charmants à visiter. Nos hôtes, Caterina et Stephen, étaient sympathiques et accueillants. Ils ont veillé à notre intimité, tout en restant toujours disponibles en cas de besoin. Nous recommandons sans hésiter ce magnifique cottage et espérons pouvoir y retourner prochainement.
We had a lovely stay at Pinaux. The house conversion is beautiful and comfortable for days we didn’t go out. Everything went smoothly with the keys and check in. Henk and Renee were friendly and welcoming. Thank you for providing some basics, including coffee, milk and sugar.
The Loft has been an ideal base for a wonderful vacation, and you have been wonderful hosts - thank you so much! We will remember our time here with delight and send you some more American guests! This is a wonderful part of France and we feel very lucky to have been here and at The Loft.
We are all having the most idyllic time here in your beautiful home - it is just perfect and so beautifully and tastefully presented - the weather is incredible and the pool in full use - we have visited Ilsle sur la Sourgue, Châteauneuf du Pap and the surrounding villages which are all charming - so all very well!
We have had a wonderful week. The pool and garden are wonderful for the kids, whose week was made by a night swim! We have been to the rope climbing, canoeing and night market. The house really does have everything one could need or want. For the adults, the peace and calm and the location is brilliant. Merci!

Excellent home and facilities. Everything exceeded our expectations. Lovely space. Catering: deicious - it was so lovely to arrive to hot food after a long journey and to not have to worry about shopping for the first few days. Friendly and approachable service. Beautiful, very well kept and maintained. Amazing for kids Stunning pool and poolside, children's toy room was perfect for boys and girls, a great range of toys. All extra bedding, baby products etc; great. Fab daily service, friendly. Great local advice. Very easy, relaxing process. You both have a lovely manner with all guests which made the stay very enjoyable.
One of the best houses we've stayed in. Wow, what a holiday! We've just returned from a fantastic week at the house and all 14 of us have nothing but praise for the whole week. The house has been beautifully renovated and is perfectly equipped in every way. We ranged from 75 to 1 yr old and had plenty of space for us all. From the crisp white linen on the very comfy beds to the pizza oven, full sized bar, the lovely sun loungers and very well equipped kitchen... We couldn't have asked for more. The kids loved picking tomatoes and lettuce from the kitchen garden and my sister and I loved the fabulous gym with amazing views across the valley. In the run up to the holiday, I had all my questions answered by Mark and George was on hand for anything we needed during our stay. We're already planning our return visit next year, hopefully for a couple of weeks as one just isn't enough!
Beautiful property in a great corner of France. The house was immaculate and had everything we could possibly need. It is a short walk or bike ride from the village and there are endless options of exploring Le Var further afield. We'd definitely return. Thanks!

Peaceful French retreat. Lovely family stay here with great pool and Al fresco dining area for the summer months. Enjoyed being out in the countryside with local town and large supermarkets just a short drive away. Would certainly stay again.
Le logement est magnifique au calme (quelque part nulle part). Une très belle propriété avec de vieux arbres et de délicieux arbres fruitiers. La piscine est grande et avec de l'eau salée au lieu du chlore. L'intérieur de celle-ci est décorée avec goût. Stan est un hôte sympathique et simple. Pour ceux qui veulent être calmes, spacieux et détendus sont à la bonne adresse.
Nous avons été accueillis par Michael et sa femme qui nous ont fait faire une visite complète des Fumerates. Nous avons défait nos valises et avons pu nous imprégner de la beauté des lieux. Dès l'instant où nous sommes entrés, nous avons pu constater que beaucoup d'amour et de soins avaient été apportés à leur maison, jusque dans les moindres détails. L'emplacement, absolument parfait, à côté de l'une des plus belles villes perchées du sud de la France : Saint-Paul-de-Vence. Bel endroit à explorer et où sortir dîner en plein air. Ne manquez pas les restaurants Le Tilleul et La Colombe d'Or. Mais ne manquez pas non plus l'occasion de préparer votre propre dîner et de manger en plein air à la propriété. La vue sur la piscine, la ville et la mer azurée au loin ajoute à l’expérience culinaire ! Les Fumerates sont situés dans un endroit parfait - loin de l'agitation de Nice, Cannes et Monte Carlo et pourtant ces villes sont (vraiment) facilement accessibles. Un supermarché, une boulangerie et un grand centre commercial se trouvent à quelques minutes en voiture en bas de la colline. Nous en avons profité pour voir le plus de choses et de sites qu'il est possible de voir - oui, j'ai besoin de vacances après mes vacances ! Pendant la canicule en France, nous étions heureux de retourner dans la villa qui disposait de la climatisation dans le salon principal et dans toutes les chambres. Nous avons également bien profité de la magnifique piscine. À contrecœur, nous avons dû quitter Les Fumerates et continuer notre voyage vers la Provence. Nous aimerions sans aucun doute revenir - mais la prochaine fois avec un rythme plus tranquille ! En fonction de votre itinéraire pour visiter la Côte d'Azur, comme il y a tellement d'endroits à voir (nous ne sommes même pas allés en Italie), je vous conseille vivement d'envisager 2 semaines aux Fumerates. Vous ne le regretterez pas ! Vraiment une expérience mémorable pour la vie !
Lots of space for 3 generations of family. Kids loved pool house brilliant and they loved playing in grounds. Playroom kept kids entertained. Lots of toys and videos. Excellent. Gas BBQ was fab. Lovely cooker and dishwasher, tumble dryer made for easy holiday. Takayla and Nick excellent hosts, great welcome and nice to know they are on hand for any problems. Would come back again.
Super séjour à Margon, Hélène est très réactive et disponible. Nous avions 2 bébés et le matériel (chaises hautes et lits parapluie) était à disposition. Je recommande vivement cet endroit pour se détendre et visiter la région. Merci encore à Hélène pour sa confiance.
