It hardly seems two minutes since we were here in the summer - time goes so fast! As ever, we have had a lovely time and have had some splendid lunches at all our favourite restaurants. The weather was really very good for October - only the odd shower. As always, thank you for your wonderful hospitality - you are such good company.
Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour, très pratique pour se promener en ville. Sarlat et ses environs sont magnifiques. La maison et l'emplacement sont parfaits. Cela vaut vraiment une nouvelle visite.
Nous avons passé un super séjour à Le Paradis Secret. Très propre, super emplacement et nous nous sommes sentis les bienvenus.

Nous avons passé 2 semaines merveilleuses à la Maison Baleyssagues dans le Lot-et-Garonne. Excellentes journées à Bordeaux et à la campagne. Le temps était idéal la plupart du séjour. Superbe piscine vraiment appréciée - la meilleure de toutes jusqu'à présent. Merci beaucoup à Frédéric d'avoir été un hôte aussi accueillant. À bientôt.
Cottage du Jardin est un endroit charmant où séjourner dans une région magnifique. Récemment rénové, il dégage une atmosphère champêtre typique. Le mobilier est magnifique et tous les équipements nécessaires pour un séjour indépendant sont à votre disposition. Les salles de bain sont superbes. Les matelas sont fermes, mais les chambres sont confortables. La cuisine est équipée de tout le nécessaire : nous n'avons jamais ressenti le besoin de rien de superflu. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et savent parfaitement gérer l'arrivée et vous laisser tranquille (ils habitent à côté). Ils ont pu nous conseiller des restaurants locaux et des lieux incontournables, ce qui était très pratique. La piscine est très agréable, propre et très grande pour la taille de la propriété. Le village est charmant et Montignac n'est qu'à quelques minutes en voiture. C'est une ville de taille moyenne avec des banques et un supermarché. Je recommande !
Merci beaucoup d'avoir partagé votre belle maison avec nous et de nous avoir fait nous sentir les bienvenus. Nous avons vraiment apprécié vos généreux cadeaux de vin et de provisions ainsi que la toute première balade à cheval de mon fils. La maison, les jardins et la piscine sont vraiment fabuleux. Nous avons passé un moment merveilleusement relaxant.
Waouh, quelle magnifique maison ! Elle avait tout ce qu'il nous fallait pour des vacances familiales parfaites. Merci de nous l'avoir fait découvrir, nous gardons de merveilleux souvenirs de notre séjour. C'était notre premier séjour en Dordogne et nous avons été conquis par la beauté des paysages, sans oublier les excellents restaurants et les délicieux croissants et chocolats ! Les jardins sont splendides, embaumés par le parfum de la lavande et des roses (mes préférées).
Thank you so much for the very warm welcome, all the ‘goodies’ you provided and of course the use of your very well equipped Loft. It felt like we had always known you (perhaps because we’re all Northerners!). The Italian restaurant in the village is great to be able to walk to. A few degrees below 38 would have been preferable, but out of your control! Good luck with the house.
Where can we begin to tell you how wonderful your warmth and kindness have made our holiday so special at your beautiful Le Chambarru. Your renovations and thoughtful kitchen cooking utensils have such taste and quality that we all enjoyed cooking. The location has proven geographical delight. Château magnifique, que ce soit au niveau du cadre, du mobilier, du confort, de l'équipement. Nous avons passé un séjour parfait, avec de bonnes recommandations, un très bon accueil... Nous recommandons vivement ce lieu exceptionnel ! Merci encore à vous deux.
Nous 8 (trois générations) avons passé un moment fabuleux au Malardier. La maison est magnifique et très confortable et les vues étaient époustouflantes. J'ai accompli mon projet d'essayer tous les sièges extérieurs pour profiter des nombreuses vues ! Nous partons le cœur lourd. Fortement recommandé: un repas cuisiné par Louise, bien mieux que de nombreux restaurants !
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à la Maison Bonnet. Cette maison est très bien équipée et très agréable à vivre aussi bien à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur. Notre hôte David a été très sympathique et très réactif. Nous recommandons chaudement ce lieu de villégiature.
Lovely private pool and terrace with comfortable accommodation in a picturesque village. Hosts were discrete but friendly and very helpful. The restaurant a short stroll away is definitely worth a visit. Nice walks on the doorstep.
Parfait ! Cottage du Jardin est magnifique, avec une attention particulière portée aux détails, et la piscine est incroyable ! C'était charmant et calme, tout en étant proche de tout ce dont nous avions besoin : de nombreux villages et villes historiques avec de superbes marchés et de magnifiques châteaux ! J'y retournerais sans hésiter, des vacances agréables et reposantes.

We spent a truly magical and wonderfully memorably week at Maison Tilleul last summer. It was everything we dreamed of. Stunning grounds, modern facilities, beautiful décor and every amenity you could need. The village is peaceful and picturesque. The countryside was quintessentially French. The historic and geographical wonders that provide endless options for afternoon drives or day trips, were all worth every minute driving through the vineyards and mountain passes that the region offers in abundance. There are wonderful restaurants and bars within walking distance and short drives. We had a spectacular evening watching the sun set with a cocktail at Côté Resto set amongst the vines of Domaine Gayda, followed by exquisite cuisine and a buoyant atmosphere. We sampled traditional Blanquette at the atmospheric Abbaye Saint-Hilaire. Explored the impressive Gorges de Saint-Georges and mountain villages. The Cathar castles and ancient city of Minerve, were stunning and like nothing I’ve seen before, both in scale and the history associated with them. I have visited the Languedoc for years, but Le Parc made it a year like no other. Thank you for the privilege – memories have been made and will be treasured.

The house is pleasant and the host is welcoming. There is space for a large group. It is easy to park in front of the house and there is also an option to park in the garden. Well located, you can buy bread on the houseboat across the bridge and the bookstore is a must!
Thank you both for such wonderful hospitality. We've had a much needed peaceful and relaxing stay at Colombat. The surroundings are beautiful and it has been fascinating to learn about the history of WW2 in this region.
Another lovely holiday at the Loft du Vigneron, this time for 2 weeks. It was lovely to see Karen and Russell again. They were charming and hospitable just like before Everything was perfect for us and the weather was amazing, swam every day in the beautiful pool. Karen booked some restaurants for us, recommended by her, and they were excellent. Highly recommend this property, the best ever.
We have been staying here with our grown up children who have not been to this area before, and have loved the house and the area. The weather has been so hot! So we really appreciated the wonderful pool. A great kitchen which we have used extensively and adore having every meal outside. Thank you for your help and your lovely house.
A fantastic place to be, hosts are very friendly and helpful. The gîtes are beautiful decorated and the view is stunning. We had a great time and I would not hesitate to book this beautiful domaine for a holiday again. I wrote a comment in the guestbook to encourage other people to spend their vacation at L'Oliveraie.
What a FABULOUS holiday we have all had in this beautiful charming Chateaux. Paul, Julie/Steven our hosts were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. A memorable holiday we shall certainly be back as well as recommend to all our friends. Thank you.
And so ends another fabulous two weeks at the Loft du Vigneron. Everything we said in September 2017 remains absolutely appropriate. Karen and Russell, you do such a magnificent job in presenting The Loft - you really are in a league of your own. Please know how much everything you do is so appreciated - it all makes to provide such a fantastic holiday base. How we would love to stay on for another two weeks now - but this will have to wait until next year! We've loved spending time with you again - the boules tournament is firmly in the memory bank! Really sorry about the tea, Russell! Case for the defence: salt does look like sugar when you've had a drink or two! Good luck with the Chambres d'Hotes - it's looking fabulous.
Château La Roche-Posay is a very special place. The gite is super comfy and well appointed, with fantastic views over the river Creuse. Definitely worthy of its five star rating. Laura and Ian are highly professional, experienced chateau hosts who know how to look after their guests.
