Nous avons été absolument submergés par la beauté, la tranquillité et les vues entourant cette magnifique maison. C'était un réel privilège de pouvoir passer du temps ici à nous créer des souvenirs spéciaux en famille - en particulier pour la célébration d'un anniversaire important ! Nous avons apprécié la magnifique piscine, fait un barbecue, fait une visite du vignoble et une dégustation de vins, fait du kayak sur la Dordogne et bien plus encore. La chaleur, la serviabilité et l'attention que Frédéric a porté aux détails ont été très appréciées. Nous ne saurions trop louer le niveau de service et sa prévenance ! Merci beaucoup!
I can't begin to tell you how wonderful this house is, with its warm inviting rooms, its wonderful outside spaces and fabulous heated pool. It is decorated in a comfortable style that makes you feel as if you are at home and not in holiday accommodation. It is extremely clean; the kitchen and bathrooms, spotless, The bedrooms are comfortable with plenty of clean sheets and towels. The house is fairly large and my husband I and stayed on our own, but we felt safe and secure. Obviously, with all the space, it is ideal for families, but equally as inviting for groups of friends. Situated in a small village, it is quiet - you can hear the church bells ringing in the local church. We loved to walk around the village and through the fields behind the house. We did think about going on a bike ride but decided just to sit by the pool most afternoons. It is an easy drive to Saint-Émilion (and other local vineyards) - my husband managed to find it without getting us lost! The drive from the airport probably took us about 40 minutes. Isabelle gave us wonderful direction - she speaks perfect English. In a word - wonderful!
My extended family and I very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. The house itself is a magnificent old stone building, which has been decorated in a very elegant manner. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and we very much appreciated the coffee machine. Younger family members enjoyed the pool and ping pong table. Being an old house, it does have some quirks, but these are very much outweighed by the charm and grandeur of the rooms and outdoor areas. The location is scenic and peaceful - but within reasonable driving distance of area attractions such as Lascaux and villages along the Dordogne. The local village is lovely, with a handy small supermarket, great boulangerie and several restaurants. Our hosts were welcoming, friendly and helpful.
Une semaine fantastique à Ventenac-en-Minervois. La maison était parfaite pour notre famille. Des soirées agréables sur la terrasse et de beaux moments. Le café est très convivial et excellent. Éric est très serviable. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.
Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour au petit pigeonnier ! Debbie a été disponible et très attentive à nos besoins. Elle a été très efficace et discrète en même temps. Nous avons apprécié la beauté et le silence du lieu ainsi que le très grand espace avec la piscine à notre entière disposition. Debbie a vraiment su nous mettre à l’aise pour nous nous sentions chez nous. Nous lui disons encore merci pour sa gentillesse et ce très agréable séjour qu’elle nous a permis de vivre avec nos enfants et petit enfant !
Nous nous sommes sentis très à l'aise ici dans cette maison avec ce beau jardin et la piscine. Calme, repos et détente. Que demander de plus ? Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l'attention et la disponibilité des gens à Bessan et Agde car nous avions besoin d'aide pour notre petite Leah. Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour, récupéré et nous reviendrons certainement. Merci beaucoup. Merci beaucoup.

Nous avons passé un fantastique séjour dans ce magnifique château. Emplacement fabuleux, maison fabuleuse!
Nous avons passé la meilleure semaine ici dans cette belle maison, un endroit parfait, la maison avait tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Nous n'avions pas de voiture mais tout était accessible à pied. Nous avons passé chaque soirée à boire un verre au « Pub » en centre-ville, offrant de très bons cocktails. Le restaurant Chez le Gaulois a servi le meilleur plateau de fromages et de charcuteries, je ne pourrais pas les recommander davantage. NOUS ADORONS CET ENDROIT et nous reviendrons certainement l'année prochaine. Merci Jackie et Geoff pour ce beau séjour.

Great feeling of space with plenty of room for children to play. Pool was superb and much used. The childrens swimming skills improved immensely. Thank you Takayla for lovely food and for accommodating late arrival and intolerances. Nick and Takayla were available and friendly without being intrusive. A fantastic time was had by all the family. Many thanks and looking forward to next year already.

At La Picholine, we felt like God in France as usual. From the sunny terrace, with a glass of wine in hand, a cheese nearby, we enjoyed the vines in the valley below us in ‘deafening’ silence, watched the olives come out of the blossom and listened to the cheerful twittering of the birds. The flat of the ever friendly and helpful hosts Esther and Leonard is furnished with taste. A touch of nostalgia with the look of today. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom is comfortable. Everything not only looks new, but is new. From the first moment, we felt at home here. The nearby forests invite you to go for a nice walk. By the way, you can walk everywhere in the area. Tip: the route along the medieval village of La Roque-sur-Ceze with the waterfalls nearby. In the village of Tresques, near Domaine Cadignac, we imagined ourselves in the France of old. A medieval tower with an exhibition of contemporary art, a bakery and grocery shop, a water spring where the villagers tap their daily drinking water and a good winemaker. Where do you still find these villages? The residence is conveniently located for visiting larger cities. Half an hour’s drive and you are in Orange with memories of the Dutch royal house or in the papal city of Avignon, where you can browse in one of those real French bric-a-brac markets in a suburb every Saturday morning. Or you can walk around Nîmes Collesseum after an hour’s drive and have visited the impressive aqueduct built by Romans on the way there. The ancient city centre of Nîmes and of historic Avignon are also an eldorado for funshoppers. In short, the fully equipped and rustic L'Oliveraie was an ideal base for us to (re)discover French nature and culture. We will definitely come back here again!
The house is beautiful - plenty of space for a large group to have both together time and also their own space. Outdoor areas are fantastic and beds super comfy! . Overall highly recommended.

Wow - what a fantastic place to stay! Hugh and Ian are wonderful hosts and have made sure everything we need us available to make our holiday such a relaxing one. The grounds are beautiful and the pool has been glorious to cool down in the summer heat. It was great to meet Oscar your stunning dog too. Thank you for another wonderful stay at Manoir de Fouilloux. So memorable as it was our little girl Clemmies first holiday!

Thank you for a wonderful stay In your fabulous house, we spent a week exploring the town, fabulous Sunday market in Nyons, also held on a Thursday. We hired bikes @ E20 per day and played tennis and paddle in Nyons (booked online) we swam in the river nearby, The vineyards around the house are farmed by Domaine Tave, there Audrey La Tarde speaks English and is the real deal. We ran out of time to do all we wanted, ‘we will be back ‘.
Un séjour très agréable dans une maison de rêve. Calme et paisible. Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans cette belle maison. Les hôtes sont sympathiques et très accueillants. Je recommande vivement cette maison.
Lovely retreat set amongst fruit trees. We stayed at Maison Meunier for the middle week of a three week honeymoon in France. After spending the previous week in Paris it was the perfect contrast allowing us to slow the pace down a little and put our feet up. On arrival we were greeted by the owners who were very friendly and helpful offering advice when required. They're based on site but away from the property in the main buildings. The accommodation itself is lovely and really well equipped with everything you could ever need. Outside, the pool is great for cooling off during sunbathing and the view from the terrace is beautiful with quince, apple and fig trees between the property and the nearby lake. We spent most evenings cooking on the barbecue with the fabulous local produce we picked up from the market or supermarket. Nearby there are a number of châteaux to explore and also traditional bastide towns to wander round and grab a coffee or cold glass of champagne. All in all, a lovely stay at a lovely place. We wouldn't hesitate to return.
Nous avons reçu un accueil chaleureux de Caterina à notre arrivée. Ce gîte est vraiment charmant et très bien aménagé. Le lit était confortable, la douche excellente et la cuisine très bien équipée. Le temps est actuellement automnal, frais avec des averses. Malgré cela, nous avons exploré un endroit différent chaque jour : Sarlat, Domme, Château de Losse. En lisant les commentaires d'autres voyageurs dans ce guide, nous avons découvert de jolis villages que nous ne connaissions pas : Fanlac, Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère, Saint-Amand-de-Coly et Saint-Géniès. Tous offrent de magnifiques panoramas sur la campagne environnante. Ce gîte serait idéal pour un séjour estival, avec sa belle piscine et ses espaces repas extérieurs. La semaine est passée bien trop vite, mais nous garderons de merveilleux souvenirs et de nombreuses photos. Merci Caterina et Steve.
Je tiens à vous exprimer nos remerciements pour nous avoir fourni une belle propriété dans un bon emplacement pour nos vacances. Après avoir visité quelques villes locales, Pézenas était notre préférée et nous étions si heureux de pouvoir séjourner si près. Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour et je suis sûr que nous y reviendrons. Merci !
Thank you for a lovely stay. Villa Kali was immaculate when we arrived. Best villa ever according to no.2 child (particularly because of pool and table tennis). All in all a memorable holiday, everything is so convenient, hassle free and well thought through. Thanks very much.
Je voulais juste dire quel moment fantastique nous avons tous passé à la Maison Semoussac. Toutes nos demandes ont été satisfaites et nous avons tous passé un merveilleux moment, des grands-mères au plus jeune enfant. La maison est magnifique et les vues et les environs le sont également. Nous avons trouvé les habitants très sympathiques et arrangeants et avons adoré aller à la pâtisserie chaque matin pour chercher du pain frais et des croissants. Il faisait extrêmement chaud, mais cela ne posait aucun problème puisque les enfants jouaient soit dans la cabane du berger, soit dans la salle de jeux, soit à la maison pour se rafraîchir, même s'ils passaient énormément de temps dans la piscine ! J'ai même réussi à courir le long des sentiers alors qu'il faisait un peu plus frais devant les magnifiques champs de tournesols.
Nous avons passé un très bon moment. Une belle villa et une piscine avec accès à un bon choix de restaurants/bars. Merci beaucoup pour vos généreuses livraisons de petit-déjeuner et pour un super repas au Restaurant 781. Nous avons passé la plupart des vacances à nous détendre au bord de la piscine. Nous avons fait quelques visites aux écluses (Canal du Midi). C'était très beau et le bus pour Béziers était une expérience amusante. Notre petit-fils de deux ans voulait rester dans notre maison de vacances et m'a dit qu'il ne voulait pas retourner à Orpington ! J'aimerais bien rester ici aussi.
