Une magnifique maison, entièrement équipée avec TOUT ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin ! La piscine est tout simplement magnifique et nous avons tous adoré passer la majeure partie de notre séjour sous l'eau. Merci infiniment pour votre incroyable hospitalité, et surtout pour votre gentillesse et l'intérêt que vous avez portés aux filles... Mas de Clouze is a stunning, peaceful place! We had an amazing family holiday, and the setting was absolutely beautiful. We loved exploring the grounds and lounging by the pool, and eating on the patio and in the bar area was a real treat. There’s plenty to do around the gite, too - great walks, pétanque, table tennis and of course the heated swimming pool.
Nous avons passé de nombreuses et heureuses vacances en France, mais comme cette année c'est notre 40e anniversaire de mariage, nous avons pensé que nous devrions chercher un endroit vraiment spécial - et nous l'avons trouvé ! La maison est un délice et le jardin est le plus bel endroit où se reposer et se détendre. La campagne environnante est très paisible et charmante et nous avons beaucoup apprécié les villes et villages voisins. L'abbaye de Fontevraud a été particulièrement remarquable, et les châteaux de Saumur, Chinon et Angers, que nous avons visités pour la dernière fois il y a plus de 30 ans, valaient tous la peine d'être visités à nouveau - tant de travaux de restauration ont été effectués dans les années qui ont suivi. Nous avons aussi aimé la Corniche Angevine qui longe la rive sud de la Loire entre Rochefort et Challones, et les nombreux vignobles. Un grand merci pour votre accueil chaleureux et votre aimable hospitalité.
Nous avons passé des vacances merveilleuses et reposantes. Merci beaucoup pour cette belle maison et les vues. Nous avons profité de la piscine, du soleil, de la piscine fantastique et bien sûr du piano. En tant que musiciens, avoir un piano était important. Apprendre que la maison appartenait à un célèbre pianiste de jazz était génial ! Nous avons joué du jazz tous les jours et le son du piano dans l'air du soir était un rêve. Merci Frédéric de s'être occupé de nous.
La maison elle-même est superbe et il est clair que sa restauration a fait l'objet de beaucoup de réflexion, la qualité est omniprésente. Nous avons adoré l'arrivée, ce fut une surprise totale. C'est une maison merveilleusement spacieuse, privée et très bien équipée. Des vacances vraiment relaxantes, nous n'avons manqué de rien.
Beautiful and secluded. Beautiful, modern, spacious house with massive terrace/patio and nice pool. Perfect to chill out or use as a base to explore the Côte d'Azur!
Had a great stay for the week. Villa was great, very spacious, pool was excellent. Excellent communication from start to finish, was greeted on arrival and Paul was on hand to help and support when needed for advice on tourism spots on what was going on around town. Great location to Béziers and Narbonne. Villa was spacious and felt like a home from home. Location in the village is really safe and quiet. I would highly recommend.
We came here to celebrate a couple of family birthdays and get some time together. From the moment we walked in the door we quickly came to realise what an amazing place this is. The view from the kitchen window (bu the sink) literally brought my sister to tears. ... in a very positive way. This week has allowed us to explore the area to some degree, but with so much on offer around and in the property, there was little incentive to go anywhere. The difficulty now will be to keep this gem of a property a secret from others, as we will undoubtedly tell everyone about this fantastic place. Thank you for so generously sharing your house. Heaven on Earth. Our two week stay at Villa Chiavari was an absolute dream; I could not be more enthusiastic in recommending this home to anyone looking to spend their vacation in a veritable paradise. We were 2 couples, 3 children and 1 grandparent and booked an 'off-season' holiday at the end of September. Not long after our arrival we realised a major perk of booking 'off season': uncrowded beaches with absolutely perfect summer weather! Villa Chiavari's spectacular ocean-view infinity pool is surrounded by lounge-chairs and palm trees and bordered by a lush garden... good luck ever tearing yourself away. I should also mention that this lavish pool area is accessible by both the main living quarters of the house and by the bedrooms, which we found extremely convenient for our kids and elderly grandparent. Pool amenities also include a shaded lounge and dining area (also with an ocean view), a barbecue, outdoor refrigerator, pool toys and floats and easy access to a downstairs kitchenette. The grounds at the front of the house include a lush garden, an elevated hammock-hideaway in a quiet shady corner and an outdoor eating area punctuated by a lovely little fountain. The bedrooms are attractively furnished, comfortable and very clean. Five out of six have full attached bathrooms. All bedrooms are equipped with Wi-Fi and air conditioning, as is the main area of the house. The upstairs living/dining/den areas are elegant yet cozy at the same time and the entire back 'wall' of this floor is composed of large sliding glass doors that open onto a beautiful terrace running the length of the entire villa. There is a dining area and lounge on this upper terrace as well! The kitchen has every piece of equipment you can think of and if you're looking for the ultimate in extravagance, the owners will set you up with your own chef. They arranged for us a very personable French cook who prepared truly delicious, fresh meals that even our children were not afraid to eat. Sublime. Speaking of kids, families will find this home very child-safe. There are gates on stairways, the entire property is fenced-in (artfully disguised by beautiful flowers and foliage) and there is a smattering of children's furniture (highchair etc) available for use. We were also really comforted by the fact that the owners of this home are easily reached and are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be booking again and I encourage anyone interested in perfection to do the same!

Tout est prévu, vous avez fourni tout ce dont nous avions besoin... et bien plus encore ! Nous avons passé 95% de nos vacances au bord de la piscine, l'espace extérieur est tellement relaxant. Nous avons été accueillis par Michael et sa femme qui nous ont fait faire une visite complète des Fumerates. Nous avons défait nos valises et avons pu nous imprégner de la beauté des lieux. Dès l'instant où nous sommes entrés, nous avons pu constater que beaucoup d'amour et de soins avaient été apportés à leur maison, jusque dans les moindres détails. L'emplacement, absolument parfait, à côté de l'une des plus belles villes perchées du sud de la France : Saint-Paul-de-Vence. Bel endroit à explorer et où sortir dîner en plein air. Ne manquez pas les restaurants Le Tilleul et La Colombe d'Or. Mais ne manquez pas non plus l'occasion de préparer votre propre dîner et de manger en plein air à la propriété. La vue sur la piscine, la ville et la mer azurée au loin ajoute à l’expérience culinaire ! Les Fumerates sont situés dans un endroit parfait - loin de l'agitation de Nice, Cannes et Monte Carlo et pourtant ces villes sont (vraiment) facilement accessibles. Un supermarché, une boulangerie et un grand centre commercial se trouvent à quelques minutes en voiture en bas de la colline. Nous en avons profité pour voir le plus de choses et de sites qu'il est possible de voir - oui, j'ai besoin de vacances après mes vacances ! Pendant la canicule en France, nous étions heureux de retourner dans la villa qui disposait de la climatisation dans le salon principal et dans toutes les chambres. Nous avons également bien profité de la magnifique piscine. À contrecœur, nous avons dû quitter Les Fumerates et continuer notre voyage vers la Provence. Nous aimerions sans aucun doute revenir - mais la prochaine fois avec un rythme plus tranquille ! En fonction de votre itinéraire pour visiter la Côte d'Azur, comme il y a tellement d'endroits à voir (nous ne sommes même pas allés en Italie), je vous conseille vivement d'envisager 2 semaines aux Fumerates. Vous ne le regretterez pas ! Vraiment une expérience mémorable pour la vie !
Wonderful time in a wonderful house. So peaceful here. The house had everything we could possibly want and more besides (including a visiting woodpecker). Laparade night market was a highlight. The restaurant there is pretty fabulous too. We spent loong days by the pool and long evenings on the terrace. Frédérique and Hélène at the shop provided all we needed including homemade lasagne. And Olivia couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you, Mark and Janet.
A wonderful stay at Mas du Château!! The home has everything you need and even more!! From the decor to the amenities to the exteriors, everything was at its best! Christophe was very attentive and ultra available!! The ideal PLACE to have a great time with friends and family!!

Que dire si ce n'est que c'était en tout point parfait! Nous organisons tous les ans un long week-end-end en famille et celui-ci est, de loin, celui qui remporte tous les suffrages!
Superbe maison pour des couples d'amis ou familles avec enfants. Chacune des chambres a sa salle de bain et WC, il y a des jeux de sociétés, des vélos... et elle est au calme.
Vous pouvez toujours continuer à rechercher d'autres maisons de vacances dans le sud de la France, mais cela n'en vaut pas la peine. Merci aux propriétaires pour deux semaines de vacances parfaites dans leur charmante maison, où rien ne manque.
This is a fabulous property and the hosts were just wonderful. I shall certainly be letting our friends and colleagues know of this magic place. We had a wonderful time, our hosts were very welcoming and we enjoyed their company.
Hébergement extrêmement confortable et élégant dans des bâtiments anciens rénovés. Bel espace piscine à quelques pas d'un hébergement indépendant. Très calme, parfait pour des familles ou des couples. À quelques pas de Montsoreau pour la baguette du matin et une petite épicerie. Cet endroit a tout : lits confortables, bonne connexion Wi-Fi et cuisine équipée. Excellent emplacement dans la vallée de la Loire pour faire du tourisme ou se détendre au bord de la piscine.
“Nice villa within easy access (20 min saunter) to the city centre. Pretty pool area and nice pool, with mature trees and bushes giving good shelter if the wind picks up. Very private with good access to sun from late-morning. Supermarkets within very easy walking distance.
Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home, it was the perfect place to spend our 30th anniversary! The views are amazing, village charming and the pool well used. Thank you also for the cold meats, cheeses and wine on our arrival, a really welcoming touch. We would definitely recommend a day kayaking to Pont du Gard, a really good way to spend the day, hats, suncream and picnic a must. Again, a very big thank you, we would love to return one day.

Nous avons eu la chance de rester dans la propriété pendant une semaine. Hébergement 5 étoiles dans un magnifique village isolé de Montlaur, parfait pour explorer les régions viticoles environnantes. C'était vraiment des vacances incroyables et je le recommande vivement pour une escapade romantique tranquille ou des vacances en famille détendues. Et oh, ce balcon de Roméo et Juliette ! Hautement recommandé.
We can't wait to go back! A chateau with some serious wow factor, this beautiful home in Burgundy was the perfect setting for our family holiday. Luxurious but also wonderfully laid back, it had every possible amenity - tennis court, swimming pool, fully equipped kitchen, gas barbecue, DVD with full library of movies, games room, etc – allowing us all to relax, unwind, keep everyone entertained and also treat ourselves. Would highly recommend hiring the local chef too for an extra special treat. Can’t wait to go back!
We have been lucky enough to stay at Château Trieux a number of times and what a truly magical place it is! From the moment you approach the house, through fields of sunflowers, you feel transported into your dream holiday. Whatever your thing is - be it relaxing by the pool, playing tennis or just sitting by the river under the shade of the trees contemplating life - Château Trieux has it all. A visit to the market at Monflanquin is a must or enjoy a relaxing kayak along the river. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. We will be back!
