The Villa is beautifully appointed and furnished to a very high standard .The kitchen has every appliance you could possibly need. The bedrooms are very spacious with private balconies and the aircon throughout the villa is a must in the French summer months. Outdoor the furniture is of a excellent (the nicest outdoor furniture I think we have ever used) and the front terrace benefits the sun for the whole day. There was so many outdoor terraces and seating areas, that we didn’t get chance to use all of them in our 2 weeks, but the main one was very spacious for us all to use. The BBQ was a Webber and very easy to use and came with spare gas bottles As regular visitors to the area we usually have the frustration of parking in Collioure and the traffic in and out as the season get busy, but as the Villa is only a 10 minute walk into Collioure, we were able to pop in and as we wanted which made the holiday even more relaxing. I would highly recommend this villa for anyone wanting a modern, well equipped, well maintained villa with easy access to Collioure
We have had a wonderful stay here, the weather has been lovely and the pool was perfect. We stayed outside the whole time!
Si vous aimez le charme de l ancien, vous serez conquis. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la disposition de la maison et des extérieurs. Le fait que la piscine soit dans le jardin bas crée à la fois une sécurité mais aussi que la maison reste très calme quand il y a de l agitation à la piscine! Nous avons fait les plus mémorables parties de ping pong à l ombre des majestueux cyprès et les enfants ont passé des heures à illuminer le château dont la proximité immédiate est magique.
La maison est fabuleuse, bien entretenue, avec beaucoup de caractère et de charme, mais également bien équipée pour une vie moderne. Belle piscine, beaux jardins et une hôte exceptionnelle. Nous avons eu beaucoup de soleil et avons pu vraiment profiter de la magnifique campagne et des villages pittoresques voisins. De très bonnes vacances, merci.
Merveilleux château et parcs. Un endroit idéal pour se relaxer. Bien équipé comme prévu et beaucoup de choses à faire ou pour jouer.
Un moment mémorable et merveilleux dans cette demeure que vous avez si miraculeusement restaurée. Si nos visas ne sont pas annulés, nous reviendrons pour célébrer à nouveau la vie avec vous dans cet environnement splendide.
Nous avons passé d'incroyables vacances en famille au Château , où nous avons fêté notre anniversaire en grand groupe. Le château, le bâtiment annexe et le vaste parc privé sont magnifiques et très reposants. Nous avions tout ce dont nous avions besoin et le lieu était d'une propreté impeccable. Les hôtes ont pensé à tout et nous avons hâte de revenir.

En tant que visiteurs réguliers, nous choisissons cette région depuis plus de 30 ans. C'est sans aucun doute la plus belle propriété où nous ayons jamais résidé. L'emplacement et les caractéristiques sont magnifiques. Nous aimions nous asseoir à divers endroits du jardin et à différents moments de la journée. J'ai adoré la magnifique et relaxante piscine, j'ai apprécié les chambres décorées avec bon goût mais aussi fonctionnelles et j'ai cuisiné tous les soirs dans cette cuisine bien équipée. Toutes les petites attentions et détails montrent un grand niveau de considération de la part des propriétaires. Merci beaucoup Frederic a été accueillant et serviable, c'était agréable de revenir et nous espérons revenir au moins une fois l'année prochaine.
Beautiful house - everything you could possibly need for a totally carefree and relaxing holiday. We loved it so much here we only ventured away from the property for 2 half days. We would love to return! A huge thank you to Gary and Louise for managing the property so well and giving expert local knowledge.
Une semaine fantastique à Ventenac-en-Minervois. La maison était parfaite pour notre famille. Des soirées agréables sur la terrasse et de beaux moments. Le café est très convivial et excellent. Éric est très serviable. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.
Better than it looks in the photos. We are a fussy family from Guildford - this villa ticked all our boxes and more. Comfy beds always a must. Seillans is a picture postcard village. Back soon...
Mas Saint-Martial a tout ce que vous pourriez souhaiter inclus dans le prix et tout était propre et bien rangé à notre arrivée avec un joli panier de bienvenue qui nous attendait. Verteillac est à seulement 10 minutes et a quelques jolies petites boutiques, la région a aussi d'excellents marchés. L'un des meilleurs restaurants que nous ayons trouvés était La Cour des Miracles à Verteillac qui propose une bonne cuisine à un prix très raisonnable. Nous avons reçu un accueil très chaleureux des propriétaires, qui habitent à côté. Ils étaient toujours disponibles si nous avions besoin de quoi que ce soit, mais très discrets aussi et nous ont laissé une totale intimité.
Absolutely blissful stay. Beautiful home. The pool was perfect. Views outstanding. Communication was spot on. Wonderful place to have a holiday. Would go back in an instant.
Where do we start! Arrived at the gite and drove through the private gated entrance to see beautiful grounds and a very inviting swimming pool. Jean and Martyn were waiting to show us around and were the perfect hosts throughout our stay. The gite, grounds, outdoor kitchen and pool all immaculate and made for the perfect stay. The washing machine, dishwasher and many fridges are an added bonus. The bedrooms and bathroom a good size, fab open plan kitchen, diner and living room. Lots of extras in the kitchen which is great. Lauzun is a great little village with all the amenities you need, several other pretty villages near by (Issigeac and Eymet are lovely) Large hyper/supermarkets and various shops in Bergerac, 30mins away or a decent size Intermarche 10mins away. We would highly recommend the gite and will definitely be returning. Thank you Jean and Martyn for your letting us stay in your lovely property and not forgetting the very friendly, fluffy, German Shepherd Tanner. We had the best time, enjoyed sharing our many bottles of vino and our evening with you in Eymet.
And so ends another fabulous two weeks at the Loft du Vigneron. Everything we said in September 2017 remains absolutely appropriate. Karen and Russell, you do such a magnificent job in presenting The Loft - you really are in a league of your own. Please know how much everything you do is so appreciated - it all makes to provide such a fantastic holiday base. How we would love to stay on for another two weeks now - but this will have to wait until next year! We've loved spending time with you again - the boules tournament is firmly in the memory bank! Really sorry about the tea, Russell! Case for the defence: salt does look like sugar when you've had a drink or two! Good luck with the Chambres d'Hotes - it's looking fabulous.
A great time was had by all. We loved this little piece of paradise in Provence! Magnifique! Hope we'll be back again sometime.
Thank you so much Isabelle for letting us stay in your gorgeous house in Bordeaux. The house is huge and beautifully finished. It feels both luxurious and like a comfortable family home. Caroline made us feel very welcome and we really appreciated the grocery shop on arrival with several hungry children in tow. The pool was such a hit, especially when the weather got really hot. The area is stunning too. We will be back!
We enjoyed a fantastic 2 weeks in this lovely house. The pool was very popular (due to the August heatwave - most days were 30 - 33 degrees). It was nice to be given a guided tour of the property by Yvonne and be welcomed with flowers and wine. The house has so much character - It would be lovely to learn a little more about its history and former occupants. We loved lots of the al fresco dining and one particularly memorable cheese and wine night in the candlelit wine cellar! Île de Ré, La Rochelle, Cognac, Marais poitevin are all we worth visiting. Make sure you take a look at the stars on a clean night - we spotted a few shooting stars!
Un mois très relaxant - nous avons visité de nombreux villages avec notre chien Ruby. Nous avons apprécié la piscine. Il y a trop à manger et à boire. Merci à Lisbeth.
Très bon accueil d'Eva et sa fille, instructions claires et flexibilité sur l'arrivée et le départ. Le logement permet de visiter cette belle région pour un bon rapport qualité prix.
C'est notre troisième visite et c'est toujours un grand plaisir de revenir. Nous avons plus que jamais profité de la piscine ! Belle maison, beau temps, des vacances parfaites. Merci, nous reviendrons une fois de plus.
We stayed for one week and we cannot wait to go again. When we arrived we were surprised how spacious and homely the villa was and it has amazing views. It is wonderfully located about 5- 10 minutes walk from the centre of Callas which is a typical Provençal village. We really enjoyed walking there every morning to buys our bread and croissants for breakfast. There are also some very good restaurants in Callas. The pool is lovely and we even swam every day in May. We ate in the garden and it is wonderfully quiet and tranquil. The region is full of breathtaking views and there is loads to see and do. We went to the Gorge du Verdon (Europe's Grand Canyon) and the beach at Saint Raphael and Juan les Pins. We had a really brill holiday and hope to return.
Juste pour vous dire que nous avons adoré notre séjour dans cette propriété et que nos attentes ont été largement dépassées.
Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique. La maison est absolument superbe, la piscine et le jardin également. Sarlat est superbe avec son centre ancien bien conservé. Nous avons adoré nous y promener et déguster de bons repas dans les restaurants (il y en a beaucoup).
Maison Theron is spotlessly clean and immaculately presented, we couldn’t have been happier and would have been delighted to spend much longer there. Great beds - very comfortable a lovely living space and a private and cleverly done garden with a pool. This quiet and calming home is a wonderful find.

It’s hard to know where to begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. Your property is so well set up and we made good use of the barbecue, tennis court, boules, darts, table tennis and of course, the pool which beats all other swimming pools we’ve ever had on holiday... and the shady areas when the sun got just that bit too hot. So much thought has obviously gone into it all and it made our holiday very special. The four teenage grandchildren we had with us had a ball and we all loved the Lot countryside, its villages and the sunflowers. How can you not be happy when you’ve got fields of them within a few steps from your door? The two Marches Gourmands we went to at Tournon and Saux were brilliant fun - the food on offer at Saux was particularly good and Tournon is such a pretty place. Our daughter loved going for early morning runs, seeing a hare and on two occasions, a deer, amongst sunflowers. Swimming in the Lot, cycling and canoeing are all on our list of favourite things we did. We also have a great picture of three of the red squirrels on the tree near the bolet - what a brilliant place for breakfast. Thank you so very much from all of us. Nous avons passé des vacances en famille vraiment fantastiques avec nos 6 adultes et 4 enfants dans cette magnifique maison dans cet endroit superbe. La maison est spacieuse, imaginative, accueillante, bien équipée et a tout le nécessaire pour se reposer loin de tout. Nous avons choisi de manger dehors à chaque repas et avons pu profiter au maximum des différentes perspectives et vues qu'offre la maison. Nous avons adoré les matins plus frais en regardant le bétail et la buse, l'ombre des arbres ou le pool house dans la chaleur de la journée et la brise du soir alors que nous regardions les constellations claires au-dessus de nous. Les propriétaires, Richard et Gaye, mesurent exactement le bon équilibre entre convivialité et attention, si besoin tempérée avec discrétion quant à notre intimité. Nous n'avons pas exploré la région autant que nous l'avions prévu car la maison offre tellement de choses et nous espérons vraiment y planifier d'autres vacances dans un proche avenir.
La Cigalière est une location de vacances très spacieuse, calme, bien aménagée et confortable, pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 8 personnes dans la magnifique région du Languedoc. Nous avons partagé de délicieux dîners en famille autour de la table extérieure, après une baignade en fin d'après-midi dans la grande piscine, aussi accueillante que sécurisée. Les chambres sont toutes très confortables et bien aménagées, et la cuisine est spacieuse et parfaitement équipée. Nos voitures étaient en sécurité dans le grand garage indépendant, et nous avons profité de la vaste salle de détente familiale pour jouer et regarder des films sur grand écran. Si vous appréciez les moments en famille dans un hébergement de qualité au cœur du Languedoc historique, avec des dégustations de vin à deux pas, alors La Cigalière est faite pour vous.
