Un mois très relaxant - nous avons visité de nombreux villages avec notre chien Ruby. Nous avons apprécié la piscine. Il y a trop à manger et à boire. Merci à Lisbeth.

Un séjour très agréable dans une maison de rêve. Calme et paisible. Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans cette belle maison. Les hôtes sont sympathiques et très accueillants. Je recommande vivement cette maison.
Nous venons de rentrer d'une semaine fabuleuse au Mas des Rivailles. La propriété est située le long d'une route calme et la plupart du temps, on n'entendait que le chant des oiseaux. Nous avons déjà séjourné dans la région, mais il y avait encore des endroits que nous voulions visiter. Cependant, nous avons eu la chance d'avoir un temps superbe et nous avons décidé de rester à la villa la plupart du temps car nous ne voulions tout simplement pas quitter la piscine et l'atmosphère relaxante. La piscine d'eau salée est certainement la meilleure que nous ayons eue jusqu'à présent. La villa est bien équipée et a tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin. Elle était impeccablement propre et les jardins sont bien entretenus. Nous tenons à remercier tout particulièrement Frédéric qui nous a accueillis à notre arrivée et qui a été très serviable et sympathique, rien n'était trop difficile. Il nous a fait une visite guidée et nous a expliqué comment tout fonctionnait. Cela a certainement permis de bien commencer nos vacances. Un délicieux et généreux pack de bienvenue nous attendait à notre arrivée aussi. Nous recommandons vivement cette propriété à tous ceux qui recherchent des vacances reposantes.
Je veux vraiment garder ce bijou caché pour moi ! C’est super. L’appartement est ce que nous souhaitons tous avoir. Deux chambres avec lits doubles. Belle vue sur la mer depuis le balcon. Parking privé. Endroit privé avec chaises côté mer. Beach club très proche. Relaxant et facile de communiquer avec le propriétaire Paul. À l’arrivée, Ben était là avec les clés et beaucoup de conseils sur la région. Réservation arrangée, etc. Très facile d’accès et super serviable. Donc n’y allez pas car nous voulons y aller plus souvent !

Notre séjour s'est très bien déroulé, comme nous nous y attendions. La maison était très bien et avait tout le confort nécessaire. Nous avons été ravis de l'aide apportée par Sarah et Dan. Ils sont très attentionnés et serviables.

Stylish, well-equipped 'home from home' house in a great location. Narbonne is a delightful town with many good facilities. The pool and outside is a real bonus. We had a very good stay.
What a beautiful 'home away from home' you have created here. This first holiday has been everything we could have wished for and more. Your hospitality and company have been wonderful and matched only by the breathtaking accommodation and gardens. You have thought of everything and we have wanted for nothing and the delicious birthday cake was a particular highlight! We can't wait to see what the future holds for the main house.

My wife and I have been visiting France for over 20 years and The Loft is the best property we have stayed at. The photographs on the website do not do it justice. Russell and Karen have fitted out The Loft with wonderful taste and all of the bathrooms are top quality including the selection of toiletries left for their guests to use. Their attention to detail is second to none. We received an extensive welcome pack when we arrived at the house and Karen even delivered fresh pastries for breakfast on the Sunday morning from the local Boulangerie. Outside the house there is a beautiful pool and garden but the jewel in the crown is the large sheltered "porch area". This is a half open and half covered space off the front of The Loft where you can choose sun or shade during the day. The BBQ is there along with a big dining table and also sofas for relaxing. It’s a fab place to eat and drink during the day or on an evening with a lovely view of the extensive gardens. Rieux Minervois is a nice little town situated in the middle of the Minervois wine region It has a good Italian restaurant within 2 minutes walk from the house, which Karen kindly booked it for us for the night we arrived. The food was very good. The town is also well placed to visit Carcassonne, Narbonne and several of the coastal towns; we particularly enjoyed Gruissan. It is also surrounded by many other small villages with excellent restaurants if you want enjoy a lazy lunch during your holiday. Karen will even book them for you if you ask. Overall we spent a lovely week in The Languedoc. Thank you Russell and Karen for your hospitality and for going to such lengths to make our holiday so memorable.

An absolute treasure of a place to stay with attentive hosts making sure our trip was comfortable and stress free. It's a home from home with the added delight of the sun, relaxing pool and sitting out of an evening with friends and wine. An amazing time! A fabulous location. Spending ‘chilling’ time with the family by the pool was invaluable. The house is perfect and allowed us to cook using superb French produce. The whole family enjoyed every minute. Pretty sure if you have space, we’ll be back. Thank you very much.
Nous avons passé une semaine fantastique au Malardier. C'était tellement paisible et relaxant de se prélasser dans le magnifique jardin et de nager dans la piscine. Le temps a été plutôt mitigé mais la semaine s'est passée trop vite et nous sommes tous très désolés de partir.
The house and the grounds are fantastic. The rooms were all spacious and we particularly appreciated the bedroom set up with interlinking rooms from the nursery. We really enjoyed exploring the grounds and went for walks/runs. The children loved exploring the forest area. The swimming pool was fantastic. Loungers etc comfortable. The kids loved the swings etc and the playroom was well stocked. Everything we needed was here. The food was delicious and we really appreciate you taking into account the intolerances. I had a great stay at Le Mas de Combet with a group of 9 adults and 2 infants as we were attending a wedding nearby at Chateau de St Paul (c. 10 - 15 minutes drive) The house was clean, well equipped and very peaceful and private. The villa is remote so a car is definitely required but it's a beautiful setting with wonderful views of the countryside and the pool was well used during our stay! We had a couple of days of rain but the house is so comfortable and has plenty of space for indoor and outdoor entertaining. One small note was that there is no soap, shower gel or shampoo provided as described on the listing but that was a very minor inconvenience which was easily resolved. Dermod, our contact was extremely helpful and responsive and even personally arranged a lift for one of our party back from the wedding venue (thanks to Patricia!). Thanks for a great stay - we would definitely recommend!
