Over the years we have stayed in around twenty different houses all over France - most were good, one or two were very good. But then there is the special one - this year. This house didn't feel like a house; it felt like home from the moment we walked through the door, after a long and tiring drive (and, bless you, there was bottle of ready chilled local wine ready and waiting for us). 'Welcome to your home' it said. The layout, décor and furnishings are delightful; and the luxury of each bedroom having its own bathroom topped it off. We had friends who came to stay for a while and they shared our thoughts. One couple even came back for a second visit on their way home. And then there is the garden – warm, private, shaded when you want it and serene. And yes, the pool is fabulous – it's a proper size. But wait until you see the garden at night, when you have your barbecue and the garden and pool lights come into play... makes the local rose taste even more morish. And then there is Pézenas - ten minutes walk away through a vineyard. And you won't go hungry there. Wonderful town. Only one regret – we couldn't parcel it up and take it home. It is, truly, an oasis.

Absolutely amazing views. I spent few glorious days in that beautiful villa in South of France. The house has hypnotising views and all the surroundings and accommodation were perfect, modern facilities but still warm and welcoming vibe.
Thanks to everyone there for your help. We had a fantastic holiday. The villa was everything you said it would be. Thanks also for your reassurance during covid. We were so pleased we went.

What a most wonderful place to stay. We were with a group of great friends. Didn't know what to expect... but Château Entre-Deux-Mers was mind blowing! The owner had been informing us correctly with all the necessary information we needed in advance. We have enjoyed the beautiful decorated château from the beginning till the end. It is the proof of how a classical building can be reinvented by a good decorator. The kitchen, dining room, living room and all the rooms with their bathrooms were beautiful. The dinner and the breakfast we ordered, were delicious. And the service was elegant and discrete. A true recommendation to go again!
Le Presbytère genuinely exceeded our expectations in all areas. We primarily booked this property for the covered eating and relaxing area adjacent to a fabulous heated pool and the number of bedrooms. The history and setting of the property and it's views to the rear over beautiful countryside, were a real bonus and joy. The wildlife was of real interest to us all and the table tennis was played regularly by us all. Mark and Amanda were friendly and keen to help with any queries we had. Thank you again and in particular for providing the electric fans which were essential during such a hot period in July. We don't usually return to the same property on holiday but just might make an exception with Le Presbytère!
We have had a wonderful stay at La Remise. Esther and Lee have been helpful hosts and gave some great tips on places to eat and visit for our stay. The villa and especially the pool have been fantastic.
My family and I had a wonderful stay In Sabatel Farmhouse. The hamlet is very peaceful and set back into the landscape. The house has the most beautiful garden, with a great sized pool and lounging area. We enjoyed cooking in the very well equipped kitchen and ate on the lovely sunny terrace overlooking the garden. There is a big blind to help when it gets really warm and sunny. The local markets and villages are a great way to spend the day exploring. We had the most amazing time. Can't wait to visit again!
Endroit très privé et paisible où séjourner. Excellents équipements. La maison était charmante, propre et spacieuse avec toutes les installations nécessaires. En suivant les conseils concernant l'ouverture et la fermeture des volets, etc., nous avons pu trouver de l'ombre et de la fraîcheur à chaque fois que nous en avions besoin. La piscine était également propre et agréable à utiliser - un grand soulagement pendant la partie la plus chaude de la journée. Les boulangeries de Saint-Valentin et de Bivet étaient super (comme partout ailleurs). Intermarché à Bivet s'est avéré pratique mais d'autres sont également disponibles dans d'autres directions. Les excursions en fin d'après-midi à Marseille, Aix-en-Provence sont parfaites et le stationnement est très simple. L'excursion matinale à Cassis pour se rendre à la mer a également été un grand succès. Le stationnement y est bon le matin mais semble beaucoup plus fréquenté plus tard dans la journée.
Nous n avons malheureusement pas pu rencontrer Eva mais nous avons été accueilli par Harold qui est une personne très solaire. la maison est très jolie et très agréable. Les chambres et la salle de vie sont tres spacieuses. Le coin terrasse avec sa plancha, la piscine avec sa petite plage et les transats pour bien se relaxer sont très appréciables.
Belle et vaste demeure décorée avec soin composée d'une maison équipée de 2 salons, une grande cuisine parfaitement équipée, de 4 chambres et autant de salles d'eau à l'étage. Un gîte à l'extérieur avec 3 chambres et salon, une magnifique salle conviviale avec table de ping-pong, billard, bar complètement équipé et home cinéma. Mark, malgré la distance, est très réactif et sympathique. Un de ses amis est venu, s'assurer, le lendemain de notre arrivée, que nous étions bien installés. La maison est bien placée pour visiter les villages aux alentours : Bergerac, Issigeac, boucle de la Nette, château de Biron, Villareal... A refaire l'été pour profiter de la majestueuse piscin! On recommande VIVEMENT!
First things first - Karen, Russell and the girls (Mack and Mabel) are wonderful hosts. Warm, friendly, thoughtful and yet discreet. They love what they're doing and it shows as nothing is too much trouble. Their enthusiasm for their ventures (current and future) is infectious. Secondly is the 'Loft du Vigneron' - a fabulous property offering everything - and more - that you could hope for. Karen and Russell's sense of style has been imprinted on it and their attention to detail has left nothing wanting. Every comfort has been considered from the fabulous welcoming pack to 'The White Company' range of toiletries. The terrace was our favourite place with the sun streaming through the roof and the warm breeze cooling us down. Rieux-Minervois is a typical French village and perfectly situated to explore the entire Minervois region from Carcassonne in the West, East to the Mediterranean, and all the lovely historical villages North and South. In conclusion, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful property with the perfect hosts - highly recommended without hesitation. Our very best wishes for every success in you new venture. We, two couples, stayed the last week of June and the first week of July in La Picholine. We found modern comfort in an authentic environment in the well-equipped holiday homes Maison Carrée and Joie de Vivre. You can rightly say that you enjoy life here. Privacy, beauty, friendliness, a lovely swimming pool, the beautifully maintained gardens... it all comes to you here. And what we also appreciated very much: we arrived in a house where the basic necessities were present (such as coffee, tea, herbs and olive oil) and a nice bottle of wine and delicious (home-made!) cake were ready for us, which made us feel really welcome. Moreover, the area is also very attractive. From the tranquility of the domaine you drive to the liveliness and versatility of Avignon and Villeneuve and for example to Orange. The markets are very charming in the smaller towns nearby and there is also no shortage of nice restaurants. We really had a wonderful time, certainly also because of the friendliness of the owners.
Ma femme et moi avons passé nos deux semaines de vacances au Petit Pigeonnier du Lot avec nos quatre adolescents. C'est vrai ce que les autres critiques ont mentionné - les photos ne lui rendent pas justice - le logement est immense et le salon est tout simplement magnifique. L'emplacement est parfait, complètement silencieux et paisible, mais pas trop loin de la boulangerie, des activités et des villes locales. Debbie et Rupert étaient si accueillants, nous nous sommes immédiatement sentis chez nous. Il n'y avait pas de problème trop pu important pour eux, et Debbie nous a aidés à réserver des activités locales et des dîners. C'était la pause dont nous avions besoin depuis si longtemps, merci beaucoup.
Le Château Mézard est une propriété magnifique et constitue certainement le décor de vacances en famille des plus mémorables. Je comprends bien pourquoi vous parliez tantôt du château avec tant d'affection. Notre groupe s'est rassemblé pour célébration spéciale avec la famille proche. Nous étions donc mélangés en termes d'âges et centres d'intérêt, mais le château offrait le cadre idéal pour répondre à tous nos intérêts, des plus petits aux adultes parmi nous. Les enfants se sont énormément amusés dans et autour de la piscine. Personnellement, j'ai pris beaucoup de plaisir à me promener dans les magnifiques jardins et à admirer des paysages à couper le souffle. Laurent, Didier et Rachel ont fait de leur mieux pour que nous passions un merveilleux moment et rien n'était trop leur demander.
Emplacement charmant avec une vue magnifique dans un environnement calme et paisible. Installations fantastiques, la maison avait tout le nécessaire et plus encore, une superbe piscine, agréable et chaleureuse, bien entretenue et appréciée par toute la famille. Alan et Madeline étaient toujours disponibles pour nous aider. Nous leur souhaitons beaucoup de bonheur dans leur nouvelle vie en France.
Qui aurait cru que vous pourriez nager tous les jours en avril ? Cette fabuleuse piscine était vraiment le point fort. L'appartement est bien équipé et d'une propreté impeccable. Le village se trouve à quelques pas et il y a une excellente épicerie ELeclerc à quelques minutes en voiture. (Vous aurez besoin d'une voiture si vous avez l'intention d'aller quelque part une fois arrivé. Procurez-vous une petite voiture non électrique.) Nous avons déjà réservé notre prochain séjour.

We have experienced self-catering holidays in many areas of France for some four decades and, without doubt, you are in a premier league of your own! The warmth of your welcome and hospitality have all combined to create for us a truly wonderful holiday and Minervois experience. Fabulously 'well done' to both of you - and 'thank you!' We have just enjoyed one of our best holidays ever and your outstanding charm and conviviality have contributed so much. Our visit was a combination of stepping back in time and renewing our future selves. The estate is a magical place to explore and I found myself checking out of life's hustle and bustle. A short stroll to the village offered a variety of delicious fare, shopping and amazing photo opportunities!
Maison Palatini was just perfect – we really had a most wonderful, relaxing stay. The house is beautiful and so well equipped and a great location just a stroll from the fascinating old town of Pézenas
In 25 years of renting houses for our summer holidays, Château Mabrouke truly topped the lot! Ed and Katie have kept it as a family home which gives the house a lovely ambiance and makes it so welcoming and interesting. We loved the artworks, both in the house and the garden. The guide to the house, helpfully shared in advance, was comprehensive. It meant we weren't struggling to work anything out for ourselves and the information on the local area was really helpful. The local team gave us a lovely welcome too and looked after us flawlessly throughout our stay. The rooms all have great character and were very comfortable indeed. The hilltop setting gives outstanding vistas all round and the terraces surrounding the house and pool offered the best of the sun at all points of the day, particularly sunsets at dinner. The kitchen is amazingly well equipped and the cooker is fabulous. Martin and Philippa, who Katie recommended, cooked a wonderful meal for us and were thoroughly engaging company. There is so much to do, in and around the house and in the local area, that it was hard to do it all justice in a mere two weeks. A day's white water rafting and kayaking with Eau Vive at Foix was a big highlight.

We had a great holiday at Maison D'Aze, this is certainly one of the best houses we have stayed in over the numerous years we have holidayed in France and we will certainly be looking to book the property for future holidays.
One of the best family holidays we have had, spacious King sized beds. A truly amazing space with all the creature comforts of a high end home.
Nous avons pleinement profité de notre semaine dans ce magnifique cottage de conte de fées. Le cadre est superbe, des charmants jardins qui entourent la maison aux arbres gracieux qui entourent la piscine. La grande piscine était l'endroit idéal pour se détendre, malgré les températures qui ont dépassé les 40 °C cette semaine. Le cottage est frais et spacieux, et offre tout le confort nécessaire pour un séjour agréable. Son emplacement est également idéal pour explorer la région, riche en sites historiques intéressants et en villages charmants à visiter. Nos hôtes, Caterina et Stephen, étaient sympathiques et accueillants. Ils ont veillé à notre intimité, tout en restant toujours disponibles en cas de besoin. Nous recommandons sans hésiter ce magnifique cottage et espérons pouvoir y retourner prochainement.
