Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine à la Maison des Communes. Nous avons été très bien accueillis et nos hôtes ont tout fait pour nous aider. Frederica m'a même conduit au supermarché à notre arrivée car notre voiture n'était prête que le lendemain. La villa est magnifique, très propre et exceptionnellement bien équipée. Les chambres du jardin sont fabuleuses avec une bonne climatisation et l'eau chaude était abondante. Maureilhan lui-même n'a pas grand-chose à offrir mais nous nous sommes retrouvés très heureux dans la villa. Il y a beaucoup d'espaces extérieurs et intérieurs pour se détendre et nous avons utilisé la piscine plusieurs heures par jour. Nous avons également fait bon usage des vélos, en faisant du vélo dans les villages voisins, les vignobles et le long du canal. La Maison des Communes était une magnifique villa familiale et nous reviendrions très certainement si nous revenions dans la région. Je la recommande fortement.
What an amazing place! Beautiful view had everything we needed and more, children (and adults) loved the pool. The weather was beautiful what more can we say! The perfect place.

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable et reposante dans cette magnifique maison, parfaitement située pour explorer la région. C'était exactement ce dont nous avions besoin. Sarlat est magnifique et nous avons apprécié tout apprendre sur l'histoire de cette ville médiévale ainsi que goûter à la cuisine locale. Nous espérons revenir bientôt.
Magique. Lieu magique, parc paysagé incroyable et maison très agréable à vivre. Bravo aux propriétaires qui ont sublimé le lieu avec une très belle âme! Avec la piscine et le très beau temps que nous avons eu, le séjour est parfait. Merci.
We had a fabulous holiday, thank you ! What a lovely location; very peaceful but within easy access of a variety of places to visit - Nice, Saint Paul de Vence, Vence, Grasse and everything to offer along the French Riviera. The house is large and comfortable with space for families or groups of friends to spread out. There is ample outside space to enjoy - around the pool, behind the house to have shade and beside the kitchen for a morning cup of coffee. The view from the pool is stunning allowing one to see a huge distance along the coast - that will live long in our memory!
A challenging end of year led to my very last minute search for somewhere special to stay for Christmas. We jumped for joy when your Loft showed as available for 8 days arriving on Christmas Eve. Throughout the five hour drive from Cannes, I stressed about finding a tree and decorations to make the holiday perfect. To my utter AMAZEMENT, the Loft had been fully decorated beyond my wildest dreams. Thank you so much for all your very thoughtful and generous touches. As a seriously experienced traveller, I can assure you that exceptionally few hosts go to the same lengths as yourselves. You made our Christmas very SPECIAL and, dare I say, UNFORGETTABLE! Thank you so much - keep on keepin’ on! Christmas 2022.

Le temps n'était pas idéal, mais le simple fait d'être ici avec les vaches et de profiter de toutes les petites choses disponibles à la maison nous a comblé - oh et nous avons quand même apprécié la piscine ! Nous avons également eu la chance de voir des étoiles filantes, ce qui était magique. Nous espérons revenir.
Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment dans ce charmant château avec une superbe piscine et un magnifique jardin. Hautement recommandé. Nous avons adoré notre séjour chez vous, merci encore.
Une semaine fantastique à la villa. Nous avons eu la chance d'obtenir une réservation de dernière minute alors que des restrictions de voyage étaient en place. Nous étions un peu inquiets à l'idée de voyager à cette période, mais nous nous sommes toujours sentis en sécurité et accueillis par les locaux. Nous sommes si heureux d'être venus ! La villa est très bien équipée et Frédéric a été très instructif et serviable. L'argument de vente majeur pour nous était la magnifique piscine et les jardins ainsi que le cadre magnifique et la vue imprenable sous tous les angles ! Nous avons passé de nombreuses soirées à manger du fromage et à boire du vin tout en regardant le coucher du soleil, puis en contemplant le ciel étoilé. C'est certainement l'une des plus belles régions de France où nous sommes allés aussi. Nous avons apprécié les marchés locaux du matin et du soir à Duras, descendre la rivière Dropt en kayak et nous recommandons de visiter les villes et villages locaux comme Eymet, Villeréal et d'autres mentionnés dans le guide. Saint-Émilion est aussi un lieu de prédilection des familles et la visite est incontournable ! Nous avons maintenant une voiture pleine de vin ! Merci pour une semaine incroyable! We had an amazing family holiday in the house, brilliantly equipped for all ages. Mel was great both before and after the holiday. The pool was lovely and warm with lots of inflatables, sun loungers etc. Would love to go back.
Trois générations de notre famille ont apprécié ce séjour dans la belle maison spacieuse et bien équipée d'Helen avec son beau jardin, sa piscine, son terrain de pétanque, sa cuisine d'été et sa vue sur le château ! Beaucoup d'espace, tant à l'extérieur qu'à l'intérieur, en fonction de la chaleur. Le sous-sol plus frais offre du tennis de table, du matériel de gym et des puzzles, nous en avons profité pendant la chaleur extrême! L'emplacement était idéal pour le canyoning (Héric), le kyaking (Orb), la nage en rivière (Reals), le karting (nr. Laurens), la plongée sous-marine (Montpellier), les cours de peinture (Pouzolles) etc. Grands restaurants et bars locaux (Roujan, Gabian) et petits vins de domaine à découvrir. Le grand Super U de Roujan possède une excellente boulangerie/pâtisserie attenante, ouverte également le dimanche matin. Rien ne manque pour de superbes vacances !
C'est notre dernière nuit aux Jumelles et nous sommes tous tristes de quitter votre magnifique maison et jardin. Nous n'avons que de bons souvenirs de notre séjour et vous nous avez fait nous sentir extrêmement détendus au cours des deux dernières semaines. Le temps a été parfait et nous a permis beaucoup d'amusement dans la piscine et de profiter de votre fantastique jardin.
Superb deluxe holiday rental - fabulous owner helped enhance many warm memories . Stayed in a family party of 16 over New Year. Great directions and arriving on New years Eve, the owner was waiting by the main gate to great us as the rest of our party had arrive the day previous. The quality of the roof finishes, furnishings, bedding, towels... all outstanding. We had arranged for provisions ahead of our arrival, all were present and correct, even the ham was premium quality Fabulous grounds, cosy sitting rooms and 2 friendly red setters roaming gave a homely feel in what is a stylish deluxe country residence. Fully equipped kitchen with a 1st class chef available, deluxe menus with fine wine options all available. At the owners suggestion we visited Bourges which is 15 minutes away for a cosmopolitan array shops, bars and resturants while also being steeped in history. The gardens even in winter were impressive but the jewel in the crown has to be the cathedral nestled in Napoleonic architecture. Recommended, recommended - Can't wait to go back
We stayed for one week and we cannot wait to go again. When we arrived we were surprised how spacious and homely the villa was and it has amazing views. It is wonderfully located about 5- 10 minutes walk from the centre of Callas which is a typical Provençal village. We really enjoyed walking there every morning to buys our bread and croissants for breakfast. There are also some very good restaurants in Callas. The pool is lovely and we even swam every day in May. We ate in the garden and it is wonderfully quiet and tranquil. The region is full of breathtaking views and there is loads to see and do. We went to the Gorge du Verdon (Europe's Grand Canyon) and the beach at Saint Raphael and Juan les Pins. We had a really brill holiday and hope to return.

Un merveilleux séjour dans ce magnifique gîte. Sue et Patrick ont été des hôtes parfaits. Nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir à explorer la région avec nos deux fils. Fabulous building, views, in-house facilities. I'm sure this will be one of the most sought-after holiday villas in the area. We have had a lovely holiday.
Nous aimerions remercier Terry et Carol pour nous avoir permis de passer de super vacances en famille. La maison était parfaite et fidèle aux photos. L'accès à la piscine sécurisée, nous a permis d'apprécier encore plus cet endroit avec nos enfants.
I would, rather belatedly, like to say how much we (5 adults and two girls aged 3 and 6) enjoyed our stay end of May in Maison La Perouse. The gorgeous house worked well for our 3 generations; it was so comfortable and very well equipped. Although the weather wasn’t brilliant the girls played and ran around in the fabulous garden whenever possible. However the trampoline was the highlight for them. The pool and fab BBQ were at their best on the last 2 days when the sun eventually showed its face. Finally, Sue was a fabulous host and always on hand when needed, especially when I tripped the dryer. She took all the wet washing, used her own dryer and then hung everything up - such service! This is a wonderful house, not just for families but for everyone who likes comfort, space and great tourist destinations within about an hours drive. Thank you Sue and Pure France.
I had the great pleasure of spending a fabulous week at this property. An oasis in the center of this charming french town. 3 minutes walk to the town where you find boulangeries selling fresh croissants in the morning; to lovely restaurants scattered around the cobbled back streets and a fabulous weekend market. The surrounding area has much to offer for those keen on exploring Agde, Sete or beautiful Marseillan, to name just a few. The property itself is decorated to the highest standard. You can see it was a labour of love. Stylish and yet homely. The bedrooms beautifully decorated light and airy. Beds so comfortable. The kitchen designed for entertaining. A huge open plan sitting and dining area perfect for a cosy family meal or a dinner party, as we enjoyed on more than one occasion. The outside area perfect for a long day lounging by the pool or chilling in the evening with the bbq going. A totally private setting! What more could one ask for. Great communication with the owner. Nothing was a problem. I would highly recommend this property, if you are looking for a 5 star experience in a stunning location.
