Thank you very much indeed for renting your beautiful property to us for the past fortnight. My husband and I have been renting houses in France from time to time over the past thirty years. We are both agreed that Chez Pascale is the best and most generously equipped house that we have ever experienced. The setting, too, is delightful and so peaceful and quiet - a welcome change from our noisy city lives. We visited some of the local attractions which we enjoyed and agree that Sarlat, Domme and the surrounding villages and towns are justly famous for their scenic beauty and unique architecture as well as the local gastronomy. Our family members have now returned to their separate homes, but we will all retain some very happy memories of our holiday together in lovely Chez Pascale. Thank you, once more.
Mas du Château was simply perfect. It was spotless, comfortable, peaceful and he was a wonderful host; nothing was too much trouble. We couldn’t have asked for anything more and didn’t want to leave.
This villa is amazing. The accommodation is fabulous with a lovely kitchen/dining/lounge area, comfortable beds, great showers and very effective air-conditioning. The pool and outside areas are excellent. We were a family group ranging from 15 to 72 years and we all had a wonderful time. The owners are friendly and welcoming, there if you need them, otherwise extremely discreet. We would not hesitate to recommend this property.

The property was fantastic and it was one of the best family holidays we've had - not easy with teenagers.
This is a wonderfully quiet place to spend time in provence. Located within walking distance from the many attractions of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence its restaurants and its old town, it is a beautifully appointed home with an inviting swimming pool and check out the new pool shower - delightful. Within easy driving distance are a variety of wineries for your tasting pleasure.
Nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances à Bessan et dans votre splendide maison. Nous sommes allés au marché local de Bessan. Pézenas est superbe, nous avons goûté du vin au Domaine Pal Mas et des crêpes à La Riposte à Agde - les deux valent le détour. Les enfants auraient profité de la piscine jusqu'à minuit si seulement nous les avions autorisés. Nous sommes très tristes de partir et serions heureux de revenir.
We have all had an amazing 3 weeks stay in your beautiful house. Our grand children have all learned to swim in the pool and we have all enjoyed our days out in this lovely part of France. We can't thank you enough for giving us everything we could wish for in a holiday home - you have thought of every home comfort. We will be recommending this as the best place to stay for all.

Nous avons adoré séjourner dans votre magnifique château pour nos vacances spéciales et l'avons trouvé très relaxant, un lieu idéal où nous avons tous bénéficié de notre propre espace. La région était magnifique avec un accès facile à Vergt pour les courses et un accès facile aux visites de sites.
What a lovely house and location. We have all had a lovely holiday. 3 generations together having a great time. Many thanks to Jery and Bridget who couldn't have done more to make our stay so happy. Love to come back.
Everything was perfect, a wonderful, very charming location, lovely people, the village and the surroundings are also beautiful, Even more beautiful than in the photos! We will definitely go back again! Absolutely recommend.
The gîte located in a beautiful part of unspoilt France, great for exploring near by villages / towns holding day and evening markets, driving through vineyards, so peaceful and yet great roads to explore Sarlat, Domme and others alongside Dordogne river. The gîte is extremely well equipped, downstairs is like home from home. Outside is delightful, pool idyllic with a selection of seating areas in and out of shade, the outside cooking area was the 'icing on the cake'. The owners are wonderful hosts.
J'ai eu le privilège de séjourner à la Villa Lavinière pendant trois semaines et je me suis senti accueilli et détendu au quotidien. Je recommande fortement faire du vélo dans les villages voisins, visiter les vignobles et profiter du soleil et du vin de la région. Merci de m'avoir permis de séjourner pour cette escapade très spéciale. Je chérirai le souvenir de ces vacances ici.
First things first - Karen, Russell and the girls (Mack and Mabel) are wonderful hosts. Warm, friendly, thoughtful and yet discreet. They love what they're doing and it shows as nothing is too much trouble. Their enthusiasm for their ventures (current and future) is infectious. Secondly is the 'Loft du Vigneron' - a fabulous property offering everything - and more - that you could hope for. Karen and Russell's sense of style has been imprinted on it and their attention to detail has left nothing wanting. Every comfort has been considered from the fabulous welcoming pack to 'The White Company' range of toiletries. The terrace was our favourite place with the sun streaming through the roof and the warm breeze cooling us down. Rieux-Minervois is a typical French village and perfectly situated to explore the entire Minervois region from Carcassonne in the West, East to the Mediterranean, and all the lovely historical villages North and South. In conclusion, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful property with the perfect hosts - highly recommended without hesitation. Our very best wishes for every success in you new venture. Fantastic time in this great house and location. 2 weeks of rest, relaxation and fun with the kids and extended family. Thank you. What a wonderful place! So much for the kids to do - swimngs, slide, trampoline, swimming and may runing races, lots of yumy wines and cheese. Two scrumptious meals cooked by Tim and Ali. Very tempted to return next year! Thank you. What an amazing find, fantastic location and beautiful house. We had an awesome 2 weeks with extended family and friends. Great hospitality from Tim and Ali. Thanks a million. For the last 10 years, a whole group of friends and now growing amount of children have been going on holidays. We found Mas de la Rivière by chance by doing a search for 'a big house to rent in France'. Well the house is huge! We were so pleased and extremely surprised to see how much space they were when we arrived. The owners were away but we were greeted buy lovely girl where everything was and how everything worked. The house is child friendly with a huge swimming pool (with a slide). A huge trampoline, climbing frame / slide / swings and table tennis. There is enough bikes for all the kids to ride around the gardens and woods around the property are vast. We were told to help ourselves to their fruit and vegetables. The kitchen was really well equipped with lots of child friendly stuff like cups and plates etc. The rooms all had ensuite bathrooms and were extremely comfortable with good mattresses and fans in all the rooms. Mid week the lovely cleaners came and changed all the bedding and towels and cleaned all the bathrooms. The house has Wi-Fi throughout with meant that some of us could work if needed. And of course browse Facebook and Instagram.
Loved seeing you both and was so much fun to enjoy Jenn's cooking, sunshines, minerals, highlights was the little mountain restaurant of giving French to French people. Thank you for having us!
