Very nice accommodation. Host is very friendly. Maison Joigneaux is a perfect place to stay when visiting the region. We couldn't have wished for a better place to spend our extended weekend with friends.
Thank you so very much Benjy, Kate and Issy for welcoming us to the property. We have had the most heavenly week here and we leave feeling thoroughly relaxed. The lands, vineyards and pool are all spectacular and a fabulous location for a group of friends. The weather has been glorious and to be honest, it has been quite difficult to drag ourselves away from the house and pool… However, we did venture to Fontevraud (which we loved), and we discovered a couple of the local markets. We were very grateful for the small touches that made our stay special – the beautiful turn of the winery, the supplies of food (and drinks!) and the comfy beds and copious linen and towels. We also enjoyed cooking on the Aga – risotto, roast chicken etc. Delicious food to accompany your STUNNING wine! We very much hope to return one day.
Thanks for a very enjoyable stay. We were certainly lucky with the weather and enjoyed the use of both the table tennis and the pool. A la prochaine!
We had a brilliant family holiday at Mas de Lozanne in June 2022, The house and pool were perfect for 6 adults and a baby; a very quiet location but still a short walk into the beautiful town of Pézenas. We plan to return in 2025.
A wonderful fortnight of celebrations for friends and all our family (17!) for Mike’s 70th Birthday! The manor was the perfect place for us all — so big and comfortable and so much to do. What a gem it is! Thank you so much for allowing us to come again. We have made some amazing memories!
Another restful holiday in this little haven. Visited some lovely villages and ate wonderful food. The weather was kind - most days over 28° (and England had rain!) Warm memories to survive the British winter! Thank you again.
All of us have had a lovely holiday - so relaxing! Much reading, drinking wine, lying in the sun and swimming. Absolutely perfect! We went to Carcasonne which is stunning, but it was unbelievably hot! (and the whining children not the easiest!) Thank you - It's a great house. And we echo all the above sentiments. It has been perfect week of pure relaxation - the owner is absolutely right when he says that there is no very good reason to leave the house - we managed an afternoon in the Montagne Noir - stunning views especially from Saissac. The house is perfect for all of us. A huge thank you to the owners for making it so good.
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour au Mas Saint-Martial. Merci pour votre accueil très agréable et chaleureux. La maison et le parc sont magnifiques et nous avons apprécié la piscine, le badminton, le ping-pong et la pétanque. Nous avons apprécié nous détendre au bord de la piscine dans un environnement calme et paisible. Brantôme est une très jolie ville au bord de la rivière. Aubeterre-sur-Dronne est également un endroit magnifique à visiter, avec sa remarquable église monolithique souterraine. Bergerac vaut le détour pour ses bâtiments à colombages. Un séjour fantastique, merci.
Ce magnifique gîte isolé se trouve sur le terrain d'une maison historique, toutes deux soigneusement restaurées par nos hôtes. Il offre tout le nécessaire pour des vacances en toute indépendance, même si vous trouverez un excellent restaurant local dans le village, à seulement cinq minutes à pied, et d'autres dans les villages environnants. La grande piscine privée est un atout supplémentaire. Nous avons utilisé ce gîte comme point de départ pour une semaine d'exploration de la Dordogne. Thonac est en plein cœur de la région historique et préhistorique de la Dordogne : les grottes de Lascaux, célèbres pour leurs peintures rupestres préhistoriques, sont à deux pas, et de nombreux sites troglodytes anciens se trouvent à proximité. Un peu plus loin, vous pourrez visiter le château de Castelnaud et sa fascinante collection d'armes anciennes. Nous avons également visité Périgueux et Rocamadour, approfondissant ainsi notre connaissance de la cuisine locale. Pour couronner le tout, Caterina et Steve sont des hôtes merveilleux et accueillants, ravis de discuter de l'histoire de la propriété et des excursions possibles dans la région, et soucieux de s'assurer que leurs hôtes ne manquent de rien. Je les recommande vivement. Enfin, je tiens à vous remercier, ainsi que toute l'équipe de Pure France, pour l'excellent service que vous avez fourni cette année et je me réjouis de vivre une nouvelle année fructueuse avec vous.
Une merveilleuse semaine au Paradou. Une charmante maison dans une belle partie de la France. Notre famille de cinq personnes a vraiment apprécié notre séjour au Paradou. La maison est charmante avec une excellente cuisine et de magnifiques jardin et piscine. Situé à quelques minutes en voiture de nombreux sites touristiques, notre séjour d'une semaine n'était pas assez long. Le jardin était magnifiquement entretenu. En effet, si nous n'avions pas eu autant envie d'explorer la Provence, nous aurions pu passer une semaine très relaxante en mangeant "al fresco" dans le jardin et en nageant dans la piscine étincelante. Peter, propriétaire très attentif, nous a fourni de précieuses informations sur les environs, les jours de marché de chaque village et des recommandations de restaurants locaux.
Many thanks. Yes, your house is as lovely as ever and we had a wonderful time and everything is perfect, especially as we were able to get the whole family together. We are having a wonderful holiday. Very hot so plenty of swimming combined with bike rides and runs! All good thank you.
An excellent villa - with everything one could need including a good selection of herbs in the garden for those who enjoy cooking. Pézenas is a lovely place - lovely potteries (some going home with us) good restaurants and bars - spoilt for choice. Delight to discover that the description is perfect. All in all a 5 star holiday.

We came here to celebrate a couple of family birthdays and get some time together. From the moment we walked in the door we quickly came to realise what an amazing place this is. The view from the kitchen window (bu the sink) literally brought my sister to tears. ... in a very positive way. This week has allowed us to explore the area to some degree, but with so much on offer around and in the property, there was little incentive to go anywhere. The difficulty now will be to keep this gem of a property a secret from others, as we will undoubtedly tell everyone about this fantastic place. Thank you for so generously sharing your house. What a beautiful place to spend a week. The villa is fabulous, spacious and homely with everything we needed. The location was perfect to explore Collioure on foot. We have never visited this part of France before, so we have loved investigating and had some fantastic meals!

Mon mari et moi avons loué cette charmante maison pendant 2 semaines en août avec nos 2 jeunes filles et nous prévoyons déjà d'y retourner l'année prochaine ! Tout d'abord, la piscine est magnifique. C'est immense et impeccable et on pouvait à peine en sortir les filles ! La maison est grande et spacieuse et les salles de bain récemment décorées m'ont donné l'impression d'être à Soho House ! La maison est située dans une charmante petite ville au bord du Canal du Midi. Il y a un immense caviste à côté et plusieurs bars et restaurants accessibles à pied sur le quai. Nous avons fait des excursions d'une journée à la plage de Gruissan et de Leucate, qui étaient de superbes stations balnéaires méditerranéennes et à peine 40 minutes.

In 25 years of renting houses for our summer holidays, Château Mabrouke truly topped the lot! Ed and Katie have kept it as a family home which gives the house a lovely ambiance and makes it so welcoming and interesting. We loved the artworks, both in the house and the garden. The guide to the house, helpfully shared in advance, was comprehensive. It meant we weren't struggling to work anything out for ourselves and the information on the local area was really helpful. The local team gave us a lovely welcome too and looked after us flawlessly throughout our stay. The rooms all have great character and were very comfortable indeed. The hilltop setting gives outstanding vistas all round and the terraces surrounding the house and pool offered the best of the sun at all points of the day, particularly sunsets at dinner. The kitchen is amazingly well equipped and the cooker is fabulous. Martin and Philippa, who Katie recommended, cooked a wonderful meal for us and were thoroughly engaging company. There is so much to do, in and around the house and in the local area, that it was hard to do it all justice in a mere two weeks. A day's white water rafting and kayaking with Eau Vive at Foix was a big highlight.
Une semaine véritablement magique dans un château de rêve, au cœur d'un cadre idyllique. Une semaine absolument merveilleuse. Tout était parfait – un grand merci à tout le personnel qui s'est occupé de tout. Nous avons adoré l'immense piscine et les parties endiablées de baby-foot ! On ne veut pas partir ! Merci encore.
La Maison Lanave est une charmante ferme gasconne bien rénovée, nichée au cœur des vignes et offrant une vue spectaculaire. Les photos et les descriptions sont fidèles à la réalité : c'est un lieu vraiment exceptionnel. Les hôtes sont proactifs et sympathiques, présents sur place sans être intrusifs. Ils sont très disponibles pour répondre à nos demandes et nous fournir de nombreuses informations locales utiles. La région est rurale et offre beaucoup de choses à voir et à faire. Nous recommandons vivement d'y séjourner.

Une quinzaine de jours agréables ici à Ventenac-en-Minervois. La maison et ses superbes équipements sont conformes à la description et tout est en parfait état. Nous avons apprécié le repas à la « Grillade du Château » : une excellente viande cuite au feu de bois, tout en nous laissant divertir par leurs poules ! Nous avons également exploré les villages le long du Canal du Midi, Homps et Le Somail, et visité le village médiéval de Lagrasse, un endroit magnifique. Merci à nos excellents hôtes, Eric et Dominique, qui ont été extrêmement serviables et réactifs à toutes nos questions. Nous recommandons cet endroit pour des vacances reposantes et confortables.
Merci pour votre belle maison. Elle était facilement à portée de tous les endroits que nous avons visités et chaque jour nous avons adoré le confort et la piscine en rentrant. Vos roses sont exquises et le jardin et la cour sont si beaux. Nous ne manquions de rien.
We have been renting in France for 5 years now and this is the best villa we have stayed in. Attention to detail throughout and a lovely garden and pool area which the children loved. The local village is so picturesque with fabulous restaurants.

Quelle semaine incroyable dans une maison merveilleuse ! Nous avons apprécié une excursion à Jonzac et à St Georges de Didonne, mais nous avons surtout passé du temps dans la maison avec tout ce qu'elle a à offrir. Salle de jeux pour les parties de ping-pong en famille, la température de la piscine était fabuleuse et la maison elle-même très spacieuse et confortable. Merci pour le panier de bienvenue, la très bonne communication avant notre séjour et pour nous avoir permis de profiter de ce havre de paix !
We feel very fortunate to have enjoyed our third visit to the lovely Loft du Vigneron! It has been great to see the Minervois region in a different season. As always, we have marvelled at all you are doing next door and can't wait to see the end result. Thank you for your company, generosity and friendship.
The château is absolutely beautiful, typically French and very tastefully decorated. It is also very comfortable and had everything our family needed. We enjoyed the pool and relaxed in the sun on the poolside seating. For cooler seating we used the veranda of the sheltered Summer house and a perfect eating and barbecue area next to the Atelier, which had a fridge for cold drinks. The Atelier also had every game imaginable and a TV area with a variety of DVDs and comfy seating. There is an electronic game/TV room in the chateau too, with seating for the whole family to have a 'cinema' evening. Outside, we enjoyed walking by the river, tennis, boules and table tennis and the children made full use of the slide and swing. The garden is beautifully maintained. We enjoyed cooking in the very well equipped kitchen and had leisurely meals together around large family tables, in beautiful surroundings. The guardians were friendly, very helpful and on-hand if we needed anything. All in all, we had a wonderful experience which we would love to repeat in the future and we thoroughly recommend Château Grandchamp de Chablis for a family holiday.
