We have thoroughly enjoyed our week here in Vouvant. Piglet Barn is an excellent mix of loveliness with all your touches and thoughtfulness to make a stay so welcoming and enjoyable. On top of this, we have had the delight of wine, peaches, home-made almond cake and two evening apéros in your wonderful company.
You have created a very special place not only for yourselves but others to share: It's an oasis of peace and relaxation in an increasingly demanding and noisy world. Thank you for your discreet and friendly hospitality. We hope to see you again soon.

We, two couples, stayed the last week of June and the first week of July in Les Oliviers du Sud. We found modern comfort in an authentic environment in the well-equipped holiday homes Maison Carrée and Joie de Vivre. You can rightly say that you enjoy life here. Privacy, beauty, friendliness, a lovely swimming pool, the beautifully maintained gardens... it all comes to you here. And what we also appreciated very much: we arrived in a house where the basic necessities were present (such as coffee, tea, herbs and olive oil) and a nice bottle of wine and delicious (home-made!) cake were ready for us, which made us feel really welcome. Moreover, the area is also very attractive. From the tranquility of the domaine you drive to the liveliness and versatility of Avignon and Villeneuve and for example to Orange. The markets are very charming in the smaller towns nearby and there is also no shortage of nice restaurants. We really had a wonderful time, certainly also because of the friendliness of the owners.

Maison Theron is spotlessly clean and immaculately presented, we couldn’t have been happier and would have been delighted to spend much longer there. Great beds - very comfortable a lovely living space and a private and cleverly done garden with a pool. This quiet and calming home is a wonderful find.
Notre séjour ici a été des plus agréables. La villa est très confortable avec un agréable mélange de décoration moderne et antique. La piscine a été utilisée tous les jours, même si le temps s'est un peu rafraîchi fin septembre. Bessan est bien situé pour visiter de nombreux endroits intéressants. Nous nous sommes sentis les bienvenus, accueillis par Lisbeth.
Séjour super relaxant. Piscine fabuleuse et temps superbe. Les deux heures de visite du château local sont très intéressantes. Merci beaucoup pour tout à Lee et Esther.

Had a lovely weekend at La Picholine. Beautiful flat with all the trimmings and a great view!
Very easy decision to come back again next year, after spending a great couple of weeks here. Mas de Lozanne has an excellent outdoor area – large pool, a terrace that's in the shade all day, 2 hammocks and ample space for table tennis and badminton. All the facilities work well, inc the Wi-Fi and especially the air conditioning which is not only very effective but remarkably quiet. Plus Ina and Dominic (both English speakers) are only a text away to come and help if something goes wrong. The house itself is classic, roomy French farmhouse equipped with all mod cons – comfy lounge with all the British freeview channels, high ceilings and picture postcard views from the bedroom windows. And on top of all that is its brilliant location – there's a 10 minute leisurely walk through a vineyard into the beautiful old historic town of Pézenas.
Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine dans le logement. Nous avons pu profiter pleinement de la piscine et de l'espace extérieur. Les équipements correspondaient aux photos et tout était de qualité supérieure. Je recommande la villa à tous. Plage, ville et sites touristiques se trouvent tous dans un rayon de 10 minutes. Nous tenons particulièrement à remercier Marie Christin pour son accueil.

Nous avons passé un moment des plus merveilleux à la Maison de Saint-Jean. La maison était charmante, il y avait tout ce dont nous avions besoin et Rosetta [la gouvernante] était très serviable et accueillante. Tu as tellement de chance de l'avoir !
We fell in love with holidaying in France almost 30 years ago and I used to think that my heart belonged to Provence, until we stumbled across beautiful Manoir de Fouilloux, nestled in the lush green countryside of the Dordogne. Hugh and Ian, the hosts of the house are incredibly welcoming and attentive, but equally unobtrusive when you just want to relax on your own. They are very knowledgeable about the area and will give you their time all day, every day should you so desire, along with Oscar, their lovely dog, who is very happy to be fussed over or left alone to sleep in the shade out of sight. The interior of the house is breathtakingly beautiful. It is evident from the moment you step through the door, that so much thought and attention to detail has gone into every corner of the building; from the beautiful stone floors, to the light filled bedrooms with the most sumptuous bed linen (and the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on), to the fabulous showers and well equipped kitchen, every part of the house is simply brimming with everything you could ever need to make your stay as relaxing as possible. From the stunning interior, you step outside to the rear courtyard garden, which is inspired by the Yves Saint Laurent Moroccan garden and it's like nothing you could ever imagine. The vibrant blue that is unique to YSL garden has been matched exactly and is dotted around the garden with careful thought, creating a wonderfully calming area to relax in, with the magnificent tiled pond being the centrepiece of the area. Off the garden is the outdoor kitchen / seating area and again is a fantastically well thought out area, complete with it's own set of glass and tableware (so you don't have to keep going back into the kitchen to get things), outdoor gas barbecue and dishwasher, they really have thought of everything! It is truly the most tranquil place to spend time with family and friends. The pool at the front of the house is magnificent, complete with poolside lights, it is a fabulous place to enjoy in the evening too. Lying on the sun loungers soaking up the sun and looking out over the amazing garden is so restful; you'll never want to leave the house. But leave you must, as there is so much to see in the surrounding area; nearby St Aulaye has a pretty little town square where you can enjoy a relaxing drink, Saint-Jean-de-Côle, a beautiful medieval village dating back to the 11th Century, is so attractive with it's ochre coloured houses and the tranquil river Cole running through it. From Saint-Jean-de-Côle you can easily visit the caves at Villars; being a bit claustrophobic I declined to go down with the rest of the family, but they do come highly recommended! Another very pretty village is nearby Aubeterre, which has the most spectacular views, small selection of shops and restaurants dotted around a vibrant village square and at the foot of the village you can find a river beach, canoeing centre, football club and tennis club. Brantome is a charming town, often dubbed the Venice of Perigord, due to the river Dronne running through it. If you've ever read 'The Matchmaker of Perigord', you will find Brantôme mentioned in this and as you wander around the town, you can really see the characters come to life. It has a good selection of shops and restaurants so is definitely a worthy visit, even if you haven't read the book. Manoir de Fouilloux, is truly a magical place to stay, it is like coming up for fresh air. The only criticism I have of it is that once visited, you will never want to go anywhere ever again, so sorry guys, see you next year...
Magnifique maison vigneronne très bien équipée. Le jardin est très bien aménagé avec plusieurs espaces pour se détendre auprès de la piscine. Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et réactifs. Je recommande vivement !

Jolie maison pour passer une semaine de détente en famille en Dordogne. L'espace est idéal pour 3 familles et les garçons ont particulièrement apprécié le jardin et la piscine.
Thank you for such an amazing holiday. It's been so peaceful and relaxing. We've loved your beautiful houser, grounds and pool. It's a really special place. We had a lovely day out in Bergerac a we swam at Lac de Pombonne which was lovely - just a few minutes drive away. We also had a nice evening in Périgueux. Mostly though we just enjoyed relaxing on the terrace by the pool! Thanks so much we hope to return.
Had a great 2 weeks. All enjoyed Pézenas and surrounds. Visited Montpellier, Sète, Nîmes. Lovely holiday.
Well equipped, nice pool and amazing views! We had a wonderful time in this beautiful villa. Corinne is a great host, quick to respond and accommodating. The house and especially the kitchen is very well equipped, it had everything we needed and we felt very welcomed. We loved spending the day by the pool and taking in the picture perfect views from the top terrace during the evenings. Seillans and the neighbouring area are a true gem, the nature, nice markets and plenty of local produce. Quiet area but full of life, just perfect. We loved our stay here and highly recommend it!
Nous nous sentons tous très privilégiés d'avoir séjourné dans une maison aussi magnifique. Dès le début, nous nous sommes sentis les bienvenus dans cette vraie maison, pas une simple location de vacances. L'endroit est vraiment magnifique et apaisant pour recharger ses batteries et visiter une région fantastique. Gastronomie et vin ont été appréciés de tous.
You have been incredible hosts, communication and recommendations were excellent. The house exceeded all of our expectations and we all had an incredible time making good use of all that was on offer! Stuart and I particularly enjoyed the table tennis which got quite competitive! We most definitely will be back again soon!
I have stayed here with friends on several occasions and the tranquility and serenity is something to treasure. Maison Bourriette and gardens are furnished to the highest standard with a special courtyard enclosed in the original barn walls. The pool and surroundings cater for the most ardent sunbather or swimmer. The welcome you receive is personal and nothing is too much trouble, thus ensuring your best possible stay. From the house you are near to many interesting attractions dotted around the rolling countryside but if you don't want to leave the sanctuary of the house, then there are numerous delightful walks on the doorstep taking you through woods to small settlements or even into Montaigu for quality food and drink. I cannot wait to go back again!
Nous sommes une famille de 5 avec 3 ados. Dès le premier jour, nous nous sommes installés et avons eu beaucoup de mal à repartir au bout de deux semaines. Les propriétaires ont non seulement créé une maison merveilleusement rustique, mais elle a été très bien pensée, avec beaucoup d'espace tant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur pour une famille de 5 personnes. S'y ajoute l'un des meilleurs cadres que vous puissiez imaginer - des collines doucement vallonnées en retrait d'une route de campagne tranquille. Étant une famille sportive, nous avons utilisé la belle piscine tous les jours. La plupart des piscines privées en France font moins de 10 mètres, nous avons donc vraiment apprécié les 13 mètres complets pour nager quelques longueurs. Pour notre plus grand plaisir, il y avait un terrain de badminton extérieur et un terrain de pétanque. La grande pelouse plane au sommet de la propriété était l'endroit idéal pour taper des balles. Les environs sont un délice à découvrir. Des grottes calcaires aux églises souterraines creusées à flanc de colline, aux charmantes villes de marché, aux «plages» fluviales pour se rafraîchir, la région ne semble jamais surpeuplée. Tout cela, associé à la nourriture et aux boissons exquises de la région (à des prix exceptionnels), en fait une région à absolument découvrir pour le touriste averti. Nous ne saurions trop recommander de séjourner ici. Les propriétaires, qui habitent à côté, sont des hôtes parfaits. Ils n'ont jamais empiété une seule fois sur notre intimité, mais étaient plus qu'heureux de discuter et de fournir des conseils, lorsque sollicités. Nous avons hâte de revenir!
Well to start with I had such a great time at Villa Kali, the pool is utterly fabulous and the beds are comfy! I love the nature / fig trees / lizards / frogs and more! Luckily France was hot. I love the table tennis, its great. Visit the town centre, great shops. We went to the beach and got a little sunburnt - Whoops! Great holiday, hope to come again.
We love your French country home in town! I loved the art especially and all those objects that made it so very luxurious. Sonus, great kitchen equipment. We are both chefs by training and used t0 well equipped kitchens - yours was really fabulous. Beautiful books dotted around. Coloured beach towels so they don't become mixed up. Great quality beds and bedding. The list goes on... It has been a joy to stay here!a

Merci pour ces belles vacances. Votre maison est magnifique, bien équipée et très propre. La piscine est incroyable, si merveilleuse pour se rafraîchir et les enfants se sont bien amusés à y jouer tous les jours. Nous avons adoré Lagrasse, la ville de Carcassonne et le lac près de Carcassonne a été très apprécié par les enfants. Nous avons mangé aux Vins de Dagne quelques soirs et la nourriture et le vin étaient excellents. Dommage que le magasin soit fermé, cela aurait juste rendu les choses un peu plus faciles mais les croissants/baguettes que nous avons commandés aux Vins de Dagne étaient super. Les moustiques étaient un peu pénibles et la chaleur extrême vers la fin de notre séjour - mais c'est la nature ! Merci également beaucoup pour toute votre aide et vos conseils !
