Il y a tout ce dont vous avez besoin dans la maison, y compris des briquets pour le barbecue ! C'était comme si nous étions dans un hôtel avec des serviettes moelleuses et des savons prêts pour nous. L'auberge locale était très relaxante et servait une excellente cuisine. Nous recommandons.

We had the most wonderful week at Les Rocans last week. Please would you pass this on to the owners. We have stayed in France annually and many times in between, over the past 45 years and Les Rocans beats them all for outlook, atmosphere, amenities, beauty and suitability for our growing family. We all just loved it!
I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Rusty Shears with friends. The hosts Kirstie and Russell have thought of everything and are on hand if you need anything at all. Beautiful decor, spacious living area and bedrooms. Comfortable beds and powerful showers. The patio and outdoor area is also lovely with great views across surrounding land. The gite is in a lovely peaceful location, but close to historic towns if you like to explore. We also went on a fantastic local wine tasting experience recommended by Russell.
We stayed here during early August. The property is out in the countryside and provided a very welcome quite location for a relaxing vacation. The property has character, built in traditional stone and has extensive grounds to explore. There is a wonderful view of the Château de Biron from the front of the property. The château is well worth a visit and if you climb to the top you can pick out the property in the distance. The pool is fantastic and we spent many hours by and in the pool. We had great fun playing water volleyball. The house has all amenities that you want, although the Wi-Fi can be slow, but this has to be expected out in the country as I explained to my children! If staying here in the summer, take a walk just before sunset, out the drive and turn left. Just down the road you will catch some great sunsets and you are likely to see lots of deer at the same time. Visit Monpazier a few miles away. It's a great place to find a restaurant and wonder around this beautiful bastide town.
Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans votre belle maison et cet isolement a permis aux enfants et aux jeunes d'être aussi bruyants qu'ils le souhaitaient. Nous avons géré maman avec l'aide de James et Toby. Nous avons apporté la camionnette pour y installer toutes les aides dont maman a besoin pour lui faciliter la vie. Notre maison est complexe avec des marches en pierre, elle est donc habituée à être aidée. Nous avons apprécié la piscine et avons passé la plupart de notre temps dans la piscine. Pouvoir vivre à l'extérieur fait que nous apprécions visiter la France à cette période de l'année. Le temps était sec au moins et lorsque le soleil est sorti, c'était un bonus supplémentaire. Nous avons laissé maman, Pandora, Henry et Emilia pour faire du canoë de Brantôme à Bourdeilles, ce qui était très agréable et amusant. Il y a suffisamment de lieux d'intérêt à moins d'une demi-heure de route pour nous divertir, mais nous avons apprécié revenir au Malardier pour nos baignades de l'après-midi. Merci pour ce cadre charmant pour nos vacances.

Another fantastic stay for the Hill family. Everything you could wish for and worth listening to the daily countdown from the grandchildren since we booked. Only problem is 2 weeks is not enough!
House and grounds are fantastic! Excellent facilities. The pools and toys have been lots of fun. We've had such a good week. It's just gone too quickly. We will definitely be recommending the château.
We enjoyed a very happy week at the villa. The only problem was that the villa is so nice that most of our plans for getting out and about were abandoned! We loved the privacy of the garden and pool area.
Mas de Clouze is a stunning, peaceful place! We had an amazing family holiday, and the setting was absolutely beautiful. We loved exploring the grounds and lounging by the pool, and eating on the patio and in the bar area was a real treat. There’s plenty to do around the gite, too - great walks, pétanque, table tennis and of course the heated swimming pool.
Nous avons passé un moment fabuleux. La maison et la piscine étaient magnifiques. Utilisée comme base pour explorer Narbone et Le Somail. Cédric était fantastique. Rien n'était de trop pour nous aider.
This place is fantastic, so much space to explore. the house is very clean and the rooms are big. Château Charente has everything you need. Storage for clothes, fans to keep you cool and big clean beds. The kitchen is very clean and has a big fridge and freezer. Utensils, pots and pans. The oven is top of the range. The owner was very helpful and not intrusive and very friendly. I had a fantastic time here and definitely come again. I would recommend Château Charente to anyone who wants to visit.
This villa was the perfect place for a two family holiday. The pool was very cool and refreshing after a hot day of sight-seeing / shopping! The whole two week trip was plenty relaxing and a lot of fun! This house is gorgeous. We will not forget this trip! P.S. a great pizza place down the road!

We have experienced self-catering holidays in many areas of France for some four decades and, without doubt, you are in a premier league of your own! The warmth of your welcome and hospitality have all combined to create for us a truly wonderful holiday and Minervois experience. Fabulously 'well done' to both of you - and 'thank you!' We have just enjoyed one of our best holidays ever and your outstanding charm and conviviality have contributed so much. It has been a sheer joy to benefit from your absolute professionalism in every way. We wish you all the very best with your chambres d'hotes project for 2018. Il était tout à fait approprié de séjourner dans cette maison et de s'immerger dans le village médiéval de Sarlat ! Se détendre au bord de la piscine avec un verre de vin frais était parfait après une longue journée de balade dans la ville ou dans la magnifique Dordogne !
Your house is lovely and we all had a relaxing and enjoyable week. I think I can safely say that in all the years of hiring holiday accommodation in France we have not stayed in such a well appointed and well equipped property. We would all have happily stayed for another week. Jez and Bridget were a pleasure to deal with, very accommodating and very helpful. Thank you

I am enormously lucky to have spent 3 weeks of my holiday in the beautiful villa in Carcassonne. While you can see for yourself all the beautiful rooms and design I would particularly like to thank s the owner for all the amazing ideas and suggestions she came up with to make our time here so great. We love the pool, the snug, the art and books. The location is perfect. I will miss it and hope to visit again. Beautiful.
We had a wonderful stay, the house is very large, designed perfectly, very comfortable and recommended for anyone who loves peace and quiet in a perfect setting. The local town Monsegur is a very short car ride away, or a 20 minute walk. A few lovely shops and restaurants welcome you here. If you love nature there are some excellent walks amongst the grapevines and natural walkways. Evening dining at the house is wonderful as there is a large outdoor space by the private pool. The pool is 10 mtrs and recently installed. Aircon to cool the bedrooms before bedtime makes for a comfortable nights sleep. We have holidayed in this area of France almost 20 times but this accommodation is the best that we have had. All together a perfect, luxurious place to stay, attention to detail here is excellent, Christophe is the perfect host.
We have stayed in some lovely properties in France, but this has to be the very best. We appreciated everything you both so generously provided to make our stay so very comfortable. Right from the moment we arrived we felt welcome. We enjoyed our visits to Carcassonne, Narbonne and Minerve, and our boat trip on the Canal du Midi from Capestang and our trip to the Abbeye de Fontfroide. We had a superb meal in Restaurant d'Alibert in Caunes Minervois. Thank you so much for everything. We have had such a lovely fortnight and will miss this haven of beauty, peace and comfort for quite sometime. We hope to visit again - it sure is tough to leave here.
Nous avons passé ici un moment paisible et fabuleux. Une maison et un endroit tellement charmants. Notre enfant de 4 ans n'arrête pas de nous dire qu'il aime vraiment cette maison et qu'il veut y rester pour toujours. Les deux garçons se sont vraiment bien amusés et ont adoré la piscine. Les voisins de l'autre côté de la route étaient très gentils et nous ont donné quelques-uns de leurs légumes cultivés sur place. Notre fils a adoré les carottes et s'est réveillé en les demandant pour le petit-déjeuner. Triste de partir mais nous espèrons revenir bientôt. Merci beaucoup.
Propriété de première choix - accueil très chaleureux par la propriétaire Mme W. Montlaur - charmant village de Lagrasse - un village à voir absolument. Carcassonne - Cité très bien conservée. Nous reviendrons. La maison a tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin et plus encore. Déjà dans l'attente de notre visite de retour.
Panoramic views of the countryside and a short drive to a local village where we could get all of our suppliers, every aspect of the stay was catered for and a stunning pool. So peaceful and tranquil, we didn’t want to leave. Just perfect.
