The Piglet Barn, an amazing location. The hosts Annie and John were lovely and so welcoming , lemon drizzle cake, nibbles and wine, candles by the door. Would highly recommend for a very relaxing atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble for them . Thank you for a lovely week. Linda and Bernard x
Excellent séjour chez vous, tout est admirablement organisé pour bien vivre rapidement la maison et la région. La piscine est une merveille. Le jardin et la maison sont bien pensés avec la superbe vue, sans vis à vis. La maison est en même temps très proche du village, à 10min à pied, donc le meilleur des deux mondes. Bravo pour les notes, informations, jeux etc. Tout est très pratique et facile à l'emploi.
We had a wonderful time thank you - it was our second visit: the house is great and we love the location. Ali was particularly helpful with restaurant recommendations and places to go too.
What a lovely property! Lots of space. We were a big family group, mixed ages. The pool was a godsend as the weather was très chaud! Beautiful sunsets. The place was very well equipped. Didn’t use the Moroccan room as it was just too hot for us. The owner was very communicative and helpful to my queries. Nothing was too much trouble. Really nice to receive some wine and coffee on arrival too. Thanks so much Estelle and co. What a wonderful holiday we have had ! Sad it’s over!
Nous avons passé des vacances merveilleuses et reposantes. Merci beaucoup pour cette belle maison et les vues. Nous avons profité de la piscine, du soleil, de la piscine fantastique et bien sûr du piano. En tant que musiciens, avoir un piano était important. Apprendre que la maison appartenait à un célèbre pianiste de jazz était génial ! Nous avons joué du jazz tous les jours et le son du piano dans l'air du soir était un rêve. Merci Frédéric de s'être occupé de nous.
As I suspected when first shown around the Loft du Vigneron, we are going to find it hard to leave. The accommodation is truly first class, and you have been wonderful hosts. Thank you for all your suggestions of places to visit - we all have different highlights, but for Franklin it was the food market in Narbonne. All in all, a perfect holiday! We very much hope to see you (and Mack and Mabel) again.
La villa était un endroit idéal où séjourner. Nous louons des villas depuis près de 20 ans maintenant et c'est la première fois que nous n'utilisons pas de voiture. Si proche de l'aéroport, donc proche des commerces, des restaurants, de la mer, de la gare pour des excursions à Nice et Antibes. Et la villa elle-même était charmante - elle était plus spacieuse que ce à quoi nous nous attendions. De plus, à 30 degrés, la piscine était merveilleuse. Seul reproche : une semaine trop courte !
Merci pour ces quelques jours fantastiques - quelle belle maison et quelle charmante hôtesse! Le temps était également parfait. Nous espérons pouvoir revenir.
As per other reviews the house was great with stunning views. All the things you need to have a great holiday. The weather was still hot with some days in the mid 30s, so we took advantage of the swimming pool and relaxed around the house. The house is a great location for cycling, there is the obvious challenge of Mount Ventoux and there are some excellent roads in the surrounding area with stunning scenery. For those interested in wine then I would highly recommend Paul from Rhône wine tours. He came to the house and we did wine tasting with him and we learnt about wines of the Rhône valley, while the kids played in the pool. Great if you don't want to take a tour with kids at the winery.
Beautiful location, spacious rooms with large estate and very friendly owners and staff. They do their utmost to make the stay perfect. Definitely recommended.

Nous avons passé deux semaines merveilleuses à la Villa Lavinière et visité plein de beaux endroits de la région. La Villa Lavinière est une maison très cosy, décorée avec bon goût et bien équipée ! Merci.
La piscine et le jardin sont beaux et bien entretenus. Le salon principal est lumineux et aéré. La buanderie a été très utile. L'endroit est calme et paisible.
What a lovely house and location. We have all had a lovely holiday. 3 generations together having a great time. Many thanks to Jery and Bridget who couldn't have done more to make our stay so happy. Love to come back.
This is the second time we had spent time at this property so we were a bit more familiar with area. I struggle to think of a better location to holiday than this area of Provence, it has everything, beautiful countryside, restaurants, vineyards and historic villages. One eats outside all the time as the evenings are warm and balmy and in this respect this property is blessed with a superb view looking across the valley to Vaison-la-Romaine and the Dentelles in the distance. There is complete privacy with the nearest neighbour being a considerable distance from the house. Inside the house is spacious and beautifully laid out contrasting with its former farmhouse origins. If you want relaxation but with loads to do in the area then I really cannot think of a better place to stay for a summer holiday.
Notre séjour a été absolument incroyable. La vue autour de la maison est à couper le souffle et la maison elle-même fut un vrai plaisir. Nous avons profité de nombreuses baignades, barbecues, jeux et soirées cinéma. Merci beaucoup de nous avoir accueillis, nous espérons tous revenir un jour bientôt !!
Thank you Karen and Russell for giving us the opportunity to stay in such a beautiful place. The Loft du Vigneron is one of the nicest places we have stayed, and we have stayed in many. The warm welcome we received when we arrived was lovely after our tiring journey. It was great to have you show us around, and your welcome pack was more than generous. The facilities here are all 5-Star; the Loft is spacious and airy, and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and crockery and everything that you need, and more besides. All the ensuite bathrooms are of the highest standard with fluffy towels and pamper products (I want a new bathroom when I go home - I was spoiled here). Karen and Russell, you really know how to look after your guests and spoil them. We can't wait to come back next year for two weeks - one was not enough!
Nous avons passé un relaxant séjour dans votre maison, qui est incroyable. Elle est très bien équipée et superbement décorée.
Nous avons tous beaucoup apprécié notre séjour aux Averries. Le chalet est beau, charmant et confortable à tout point de vue. Les jardins, magnifiques. Les hôtes, très aimables. Nous avons également apprécié la piscine. Le charmant village, à quelques minutes à pied ou à vélo, a tout ce dont vous avez besoin. C'est un endroit parfait pour les journées tranquilles et visiter de nombreuses attractions à proximité, il y a beaucoup à voir et à faire pour tous les âges. Petits et grands ont apprécié le magnifique château. Nous espérons donc revenir.
Un soleil radieux pour nous toute la semaine. Nous avons passé un agréable moment à explorer. Les enfants se sont fait passer pour Raiponce à la Maison Baleyssagues et ont passé une merveilleuse journée au Lac de Lougratte. J'ai fait du jogging dans les vignes et aux abords, ce qui était étonnamment épuisant. Nous avons peut-être tous mangé trop de croissants ? Merci pour cette semaine formidable dans un cadre magnifique.
You have been excellent hosts - helpful but never intrusive. The Loft is a lovely place to stay - stylish, comfortable and very well equipped for a baby. A cool, wet start to the week was more than made up for by Karen's delicious cake! It has been such a pleasure discovering this corner of France.
A wonderful week in the villa! The sun has shone and we've made the most of the pool! Very welcome relief from the heat. Villa is very well appointed - everything has been thought of. Local team were great, a quick response to our queries. We explored Pezanas and the beaches at Portiragnes and Sète - both fabulous! We agree - the welcome wine was a lovely thought - a good introduction to local wines! Thank you for a great week!
Cottage du Jardin est magnifiquement entretenu et présente un intérieur magnifique. Ce qui nous a vraiment impressionnés, c'est son emplacement paisible au sein du parc des propriétaires et la piscine paisible où l'on peut se prélasser un après-midi ensoleillé. Le cottage se trouve à environ 5 à 10 minutes à pied du village. Vous y trouverez une petite épicerie proposant de tout pour satisfaire vos besoins, ainsi qu'un restaurant proposant de délicieux repas à des prix très raisonnables. À essayer absolument lors de votre séjour. Si vous préférez faire vos courses, deux grands supermarchés sont à 10 minutes en voiture, sur la route de Montignac. Montignac est une jolie ville avec de charmants restaurants au bord de la rivière. Le cottage est idéalement situé pour visiter les sites touristiques locaux, qu'il s'agisse d'un château comme le Château de Losse ou le Château des Milandes avec ses magnifiques jardins, ou de jolies villes et villages, nos préférés étant Saint-Léon, La Roque-Gageac et Domme. Un ciel bleu magnifique tous les jours avec des températures atteignant 36 degrés un jour. Cela nous a donné l'excuse parfaite pour passer quelques jours à nous prélasser au bord de la piscine et à nous ressourcer dans un cadre magnifique. En résumé, grâce au gîte, à la météo et à des hôtes parfaits, nous avons passé une semaine formidable, mais nous sommes repartis un peu tristes. Cependant, nous savons que nous reviendrons, plus longtemps la prochaine fois, car il y a encore beaucoup à voir dans cette belle région de France. Ce furent vraiment nos meilleures vacances. What a beautiful 'home away from home' you have created here. This first holiday has been everything we could have wished for and more. Your hospitality and company have been wonderful and matched only by the breathtaking accommodation and gardens. You have thought of everything and we have wanted for nothing and the delicious birthday cake was a particular highlight! We can't wait to see what the future holds for the main house.
We have just returned from a fantastic holiday in Fitou, staying in this lovely and comfortable villa. I agree with other reviewers, the pictures do not do the property justice. It is spacious with a very high finish throughout maintaining a very homely feel. Our party consisted of 2 families with 4 kids (6, 6, 2 and 2), they loved it. As for the area, well it's a really special region of France. The location is perfect for day trips to the regions finest attractions (Carcassonne, Collioure, Gruissan etc...) and equally relaxing staying local. Fitou and nearby Leucate Village are charming and the local beaches are lovely, unspoilt and crowd free. There is as much or as little to do here as you'd like. We will certainly be coming back to the area and hopefully to this villa again.
Nous avons passé de magnifiques vacances ! Une villa superbe, propre et bien équipée. Merci Philippe d’avoir été un hôte aussi merveilleux – et surtout pour les délicieuses viennoiseries ! La villa est si agréable que nous avons été plus qu’heureux d’y passer des journées tranquilles, mais nous avons aussi fait de très belles excursions. Carcassonne et son château sont incontournables. Le marché du mardi à Olonzac est fabuleux. La plage de Narbonne est magnifique et nous avons beaucoup apprécié la découverte et la promenade en bateau aux 9 écluses de Fonseranes. Nous n’hésiterions pas à revenir ici – je pense qu’il serait très difficile de trouver un autre endroit aussi parfait ! Tristes de rentrer chez nous, mais tellement chanceux d’avoir créé de merveilleux souvenirs !
Superb deluxe holiday rental - fabulous owner helped enhance many warm memories . Stayed in a family party of 16 over New Year. Great directions and arriving on New years Eve, the owner was waiting by the main gate to great us as the rest of our party had arrive the day previous. The quality of the roof finishes, furnishings, bedding, towels... all outstanding. We had arranged for provisions ahead of our arrival, all were present and correct, even the ham was premium quality Fabulous grounds, cosy sitting rooms and 2 friendly red setters roaming gave a homely feel in what is a stylish deluxe country residence. Fully equipped kitchen with a 1st class chef available, deluxe menus with fine wine options all available. At the owners suggestion we visited Bourges which is 15 minutes away for a cosmopolitan array shops, bars and resturants while also being steeped in history. The gardens even in winter were impressive but the jewel in the crown has to be the cathedral nestled in Napoleonic architecture. Recommended, recommended - Can't wait to go back
