We had a fabulous holiday in Villa Pey de la Salle. The villa was lovely and so was the weather!
Nous avons tous passé un merveilleux séjour dans ce charmant coin de Provence avec ses paysages magnifiques et sa généreuse hospitalité.
Nous avons essayé de venir pendant 6 ans, mais finalement nous l'avons fait et cela valait la peine d'attendre. Les propriétaires étaient très gentils et serviables. Ont offert de super fromages, du vin, des livraisons tôt le matin et un bon repas au restaurant. Et tout ça avant même d'évoquer la belle maison :) Tout était incroyable sauf la canicule, 42°C (ouf !) mais la piscine nous a sauvé, elle était super aussi. Un grand merci pour le plein de super souvenirs.
What a fun-filled week with all our favourite people! Mike and Annie have spoilt us rotten and we have loved this beautiful place – perfect for a big gathering of friends and family. Thank you and lots of love.

Nous avons tous adoré notre séjour ici. Nous aurions aimé réserver deux semaines. C'est une maison très traditionnelle, mais vous avez fourni tout le confort moderne nécessaire, sans compromettre l'ambiance du gîte. J'espère y retourner. Nous avons passé des après-midis agréables à la piscine et à admirer le magnifique coucher de soleil depuis l'allée. Nous avons apprécié les spectacles sur la place de Verteillac, devant le bar Le Calice. La belle ville de Brantôme est à visiter absolument.
Fabulous week learning about wine in an amazing setting. Manoir Lemance is the most wonderful, tranquil and stylish place I have stayed in France and I have stayed in many. The owners have taken great care and attention in restoring the beautiful buildings, choosing the internal furnishings and creating the amazing swimming pool and grounds. We were warmly welcomed and looked after really well all week. The local area is full of amazing villages, great vineyards and beautiful countryside. If you are looking for a very French holiday with the added support of English speaking hosts, in the most beautiful setting, then this is the place for you.
We loved the site; very peaceful and relaxing, despite the suburban setting. Everything you need is here! Pézenas is a beautiful place and we also liked Meze, Tourbes and especially enjoyed kayaking down the Hérault river.
You have created a fantastic holiday home which we have enjoyed staying in very much. Thank you for your warm welcome, generous hospitality and advice about what to visit / where to eat in the Minervois region; it has been greatly appreciated. We wish you all the very best for your exciting future plans and hope to be back in the next few years. Thank you for letting me play with your lovely dogs, Mack and Mabel. We had an amazing stay here in Narbonne! The photos you see are beautiful but the house is even better in person. It was so comfortable, beautful decor, thoughtful touches (like throw blankets, baskets for market, plenty of closet space with extra hangers, extensive kitchen equipment, more...), gorgeous lighting and cozy/high quality bedding (so important when travelling). We felt so at home and enjoyed our down time while in the house!The sunroom was our sanctuary during our stay... our reading room while there... the natural light is so perfect with the back sliding window open and the breeze coming in! Heaven!
Had a great 2 weeks. The house and gardens / pool are amazing - fresh air, beautiful scenery and sitting out every evening was so relaxing! The house is so well equipped and the kids really enjoyed all the facilities. Would absolutely recommend Orchard Farmhoue to anyone coming to the region. The location in great - so easy to get to Bergerac, Perigeux. Thank you for a great holiday.
Time seems to have stood still for these 10 days. And yet it passed quickly. An idyllic setting, calm at all times, 2 charming and attentive hosts. We loved our stay at Colombat Cottage.
Les enfants ont nagé tous les jours – en mars et avril ! La vie au plein air est spectaculaire ici, avec une magnifique piscine, une vue et une lumière spéciale toute la journée. La maison présente de nombreuses touches luxueuses, avec des œuvres d'art originales, des rideaux de soie, de « vrais » tapis faits à la main, des draps impeccables et de l'eau chaude instantanément. Les hôtes étaient généreux et exceptionnellement hospitaliers. Vous pouvez rêver de résider à la maison de votre riche tante et de votre oncle dans le sud de la France. Les propriétaires étaient à l'étage et nous les avons trouvés affables et de bonne humeur toute la semaine. Nous avons apprécié disposer d'une voiture là-bas, on nous a donné une télécommande pour le portail électrique au bout de l'allée. Nous serions ravis de revenir.
Nous étions les premiers français à séjourner dans cette maison, très agréable et pratique pour la vie de famille, notamment avec des enfants. Chaque chambre dispose de sa salle de bains, ce qui a été très apprécié. La cuisine est bien équipée et nous avons eu un très joli panier garni d'arrivée. Mille mercis pour cela nous avons beaucoup aimé. Le jardin est extrêmement agréable, clos, avec un terrain de pétanque au fond et des jeux pour les enfants. Ensuite, une grange à été réhabilitée et accueille plusieurs jeux : billard, baby-foot, ping-pong, fléchettes. Il est aussi possible de jouer au badminton et des raquettes sont a disposition. Idéal même quand il ne fait pas beau.
Thank you for a wonderful and relaxing two weeks. We have loved getting to know this part of France (and it’s wine!), playing boules in the garden and watching all the birds. We particularly enjoyed the Grand Cafe Occitane and the beaches at Leucate. Your attention to detail and the warm welcome made us feel immediately at home and we really appreciated the pool being kept so clean.
Beautiful château and very well maintained grounds which are well equipped to prevent children from being bored. The kids absolutely loved the pool and having the shaded area was brilliant for everyone. Everything you could need for a fortnightwith the family - our party included toddlers, a newborn baby and grandparents. the daily housekeeping service was much appreciated. Would definitely recommend a catered evening (we chose Indian food). Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home. We hope to be back.
Absolutely fabulous! We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 weeks and would love to return. It's so well equipped, you've thought of everything UK TV meant we could stay in touch with local news not mention avidly watching the olympics. The property couldn't be bettered!

Very nice stay in a beautiful house. The unit is ideally located by the Canal du Midi. There are many activities to do in the area (hikes, water sports, tastings, ...). The hosts are lovely and available. We particularly appreciated the many recommendations for discovering the region. The accommodation is well decorated, spacious and well-equipped. The pool is large and not overlooked. The bedding is also nice. A big plus is the number of bathrooms that makes it easy for a large group to get organized. We had a great time in a fantastic setting with a rare value for money. We'll be happy to go back! Thanks again!
Beautiful French villa in the heart of Provence. Great Villa with an amazing panoramic view. I enjoyed the open space layout of the house, the ample kitchen fully equipped, the modern amenities and the overall functionality of the house. Outside on the large terrace we had many sunset dinners sipping rose wine. We also spent a lot of time in the pool. Central to beaches, shopping centres, restaurants, historic landmarks, airports etc. Prompt response from the owners for anything you needed. Overall great experience. Highly recommend it.

Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique ici. C'est un endroit magnifique et reposant. C'est l'endroit idéal pour un grand groupe et nous en avons profité au maximum ! C'est un privilège d'avoir pu venir.
A really fabulous time had by all 9 in our 'gang', you have left no stone unturned here in this great house. Location is perfect, Revel is a smashing town with everything you need whilst still retaining the feel of a rural French setting. A holiday none of us will forget. This holiday has been great! I have really enjoyed playing in the pool and running round the huge garden for exercise. Written by a teenager pretending they are 48!
Moments inoubliables au sein du chalet. Nous sommes venus pour un week-end entre amis et chacun de nous est unanime: la qualité du logement, le soin apporté à chaque détails et la gentillesse et la réactivité de notre hôte nous a tous convaincus. Le chalet entièrement rénové par l’hôte est une perle rare et le propriétaire tout autant. Nous nous sommes créer des souvenirs inoubliable et espérons pouvoir revenir dès que possible. We enjoyed the house very much. We especially enjoyed the kitchen. The provision of cook books, an array of perfectly clean utensils. A stock of herbs and spices was a real bonus. We hope many more come and enjoy it as we did.
After a really warm welcome, this place feels just like home! Meryl and Richard have been fantastic hosts, from the very first day arriving at the gîte and making us coffee after a long drive, to taking us to the nearby night market to experience the real France. The villa itself is beautiful and peaceful - couldn't ask for more and we have loved our morning visits from Poppy! A highlight for us was a visit to Sarlat-la-Canéda - the centre is truly breathtaking. On the way back stopped for a drink at Beynac - you can see the château on the hill whilst having a coffee on the riverside, watching people canoe past! We have loved it! We will be back!
The house is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. The rooms are large and the beds are nice. The pool is perfect and well maintained and the beautiful large garden with multiple seating areas offers enough relaxation space for a group of 7 or more. What we were most impressed with is the beautiful kitchen with a large range of pans and other kitchen utensils. We love to cook so we were very satisfied with this. All in all, a fantastic house with an attentive host who responds quickly to questions.
Thank you so much Thierry and Véronique for making us so welcome in your beautiful house. We've thoroughly enjoyed a mixture of exploring and relaxing. Highlights have included the great week in Chauvigny (as well as exploring the medieval town), canoeing along a scenic stretch of the river at Angles sur L’Anglin, and exploring the châteaux. Afterwards, a day trip to Poitiers and an excellent visit to Futuroscope. We finished each day relaxing in the pool and playing boules. All in all, a wonderful week in a beautiful area.
Spending time in this lovely serene hamlet is heaven, overlooking the most calming landscaped from the house and terraces. The fully equipped kitchen is outfitted for foodies and in a setting with fantastic food markets just 15 minutes in proximity. The gardens surrounding the house are beautiful and have a fabulous pool. The is French countryside brilliance at its best.
