Nous prenons nos vacances en France toutes régions confondues depuis 12 ans. Ce gîte est dans les deux premiers. Les installations et l'emplacement sont idéaux. Nous avons passé des vacances très reposantes. Merci beaucoup. Le meilleur temps de tous les temps !
What an idyllic location to spend a holiday! Easily accessible from Toulouse airport, the house is quite unique in character with its solid walls, oak beams and spacious, airy rooms. There's a large, pleasant garden where we played boules and table tennis daily and also just relaxed beside the pool. It's also great for bird watching. We were pleasantly surprised by the variety of towns and small villages within easy reach of the house and the Dordogne was also an easy car-journey away. We spent 2 weeks on holiday but would have happily stayed much longer as there was so much we didn't have time to see and do. We'd love to go back! Thanks for a great holiday.
Nous avons passé une nuit dans cette jolie villa perdue au fond des bois et des vignes lors d'une soirée de mariage tout près ( domaine de Franco, superbe lieu également). Nous étions au calme (et pour cause, aucun voisin à la ronde). La villa est tres bien équipée. La literie est excellente. Magnifique.
It's a fantastic place to stay. A lovely host and excellent food. Very worthwhile. We enjoyed.

You have both been incredible - from your patience over the booking; your reassurances over Covid in France, and the amazing steps you've taken to protect your guests, ( we cannot imagine anyone could do more ), to providing my daughter with a very much appreciated birthday cake ( delicious, by the way ). Always being at the end of the phone and let's not forget the incredible 'Loft' - it is beautiful - calm and relaxing, spotlessly clean. Your attention to detail is excellent. We have all had a wonderful time and return to England feeling refreshed and nurtured.
If we could give more than 5 stars we would!! This place was beautiful, everything was pristine, stylish, good quality and the house itself was spacious. Gaëlle and Etienne were incredibly hospitable, lovely people and easy to communicate with. Was such a pleasant stay!
Une maison tellement fantastique dans une belle partie de la France. Nous y avons passé un super séjour. La maison possède tout ce à quoi vous pourriez penser en termes de confort et de cuisine. Nous avons même mangé une raclette pendant notre séjour car il y avait un appareil à raclette ! Sandie était une hôte géniale et toujours là pour nous aider, même à Noël. Nous ne pouvions pas imaginer un meilleur endroit pour une réunion de famille. Beaucoup d'espace à l'intérieur et aussi beaucoup d'espace extérieur avec de nombreux jeux, ils ont tous été utiles car nous avons dû nous isoler pendant 2 jours à notre arrivée en France en raison des dernières restrictions. Même avec de jeunes enfants qui aiment courir, nous avions beaucoup d'espace pour nous amuser et jouer à des jeux ! Je ne pourrais pas recommander davantage cet endroit.
Thank you so very much Benjy, Kate and Issy for welcoming us to the property. We have had the most heavenly week here and we leave feeling thoroughly relaxed. The lands, vineyards and pool are all spectacular and a fabulous location for a group of friends. The weather has been glorious and to be honest, it has been quite difficult to drag ourselves away from the house and pool… However, we did venture to Fontevraud (which we loved), and we discovered a couple of the local markets. We were very grateful for the small touches that made our stay special – the beautiful turn of the winery, the supplies of food (and drinks!) and the comfy beds and copious linen and towels. We also enjoyed cooking on the Aga – risotto, roast chicken etc. Delicious food to accompany your STUNNING wine! We very much hope to return one day.
Belle villa dans un endroit magnifique. Tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour un séjour confortable. L'hôte qui nous a accueillis à l'arrivée et au départ n'aurait pas pu être plus serviable et sympathique.
Très belle villa rénovée avec beaucoup de goût, nous y avons passé 3 jours en famille très agréables. Le plus est d’avoir une salle d’eau et un WC pour chaque chambre. Situation idéale pour se reposer et se balader le long ou sur le canal du midi Nous reviendrons avec plaisir
Thanks for a truly wonderful week. The house, garden and pool are really fabulous. We had a wonderfully relaxing time and didn't do as much exploring as we should have done as we couldn't tear ourselves away from the garden / pool. Don't miss Friday evening in Pézenas with the high street market, food, wine and music.
We found the villa straightaway and were very pleased with the quality of the accommodation. Jacky was a great guy who made us feel at home and at ease.
If you're looking for French charm and a true get away, then Le Mas de Combet is the place for you. A beautiful house with everything you need for a trip away with family or friends (the accommodation in the barn is so handy for young familys too). The property has been lovingly and thoughtfully restored plus communication was spot on, it was easy to book and any questions I had were answered promptly.
A hidden gem and offering us everything we could ever want and more. Thank you for providing a home from home experience plus pure escapism. Corinne is an angle.
Nous sommes venus deux semaines et avons reçu un accueil chaleureux de nos hôtes. Nous avons exploré la région et les environs, fait de belles promenades et découvert de charmantes villes, comme Sarlat-la-Canéda et Bergerac, avec leurs marchés animés. Merci à Alan et Madeline d'avoir partagé votre jolie maison avec nous. Nous avons hâte de revenir avec le reste de la famille.
Large family holiday, ages varying from 2-60. Beautiful house, great outdoor area with outside pergola and table plenty big enough to sit all 13 of us which was great. As in description location is very rural so definitely need cars - supermarket is 10 mins drive away. Estelle was very helpful leading up to our holiday, and during our stay. Answering all our questions and popped by to make sure we were happy with everything. Local area very pretty, but we stayed in August and everywhere was deserted! Apparently lots of places in France shut down in August. Very well equipped house for great holiday.
Amazing lunch spreads on the big table every day accompanied by tasing of rose and red wine. Stunning BBQ dinners every evening. Sitting by the pool, staring at the view and saying 'wow'! on a regular basis. Kids very happy in the cinema for slightly too many hours! What a stunning pace and what a privilege to have visited here. Thank you. Look forward to returning one day.
Nous avons passé des vacances fantastiques dans la propriété et, pour être tout à fait honnêtes, nous ne voulions pas partir. L'esprit maussade, nous repensons à nos clichés de vacances en souhaitant ne pas être retournés dans le sombre temps anglais, mais à nous trouver assis dans la glorieuse véranda! Votre hospitalité était incomparable et toutes les vacances sans faute.
Nous rêvions d'une vie de château, Frédérique et Philippe nous l'ont offerte ! De magnifiques vacances dans un cadre d'exception ! Encore merci pour votre gentillesse et disponibilité. Nous reviendrons avec grand paisir !

C'est notre dernière nuit aux Jumelles et nous sommes tous tristes de quitter votre magnifique maison et jardin. Nous n'avons que de bons souvenirs de notre séjour et vous nous avez fait nous sentir extrêmement détendus au cours des deux dernières semaines. Le temps a été parfait et nous a permis beaucoup d'amusement dans la piscine et de profiter de votre fantastique jardin.
Quel merveilleux séjour, belle maison, jardin et piscine si près de la ville de Sarlat. Les magasins locaux sont excellents, je recommande le martini du Café Le Gambella juste en bas de la route sur le côté droit. Les bouchers sont excellents, ils ont cuisiné de délicieux repas avec leurs produits. Le marché de Sarlat est idéal pour les légumes et le fromage. Essayez la visite à pied de Sarlat, passez à l'office de tourisme pour récupérer un plan, cela vaut vraiment la peine car vous vous aventurerez dans des ruelles cachées et découvrirez l'histoire de Sarlat. Merci Jackie et Geoff pour l'utilisation de votre belle maison et pour nous avoir donné de merveilleux souvenirs. Nous espérons revenir.
A week stay with all the family. Villa Colline is a superb ultra modern luxury villa, fitted with stunning furniture and accessories. The modern kitchen is very well equipped and the bedrooms are all very luxurious, especially the master room with its hot tub. For me, it was the pool and the numerous sun terraces which pleased me, especially the private areas with each room - little havens of peace! We had a fantastic week and we give the villa 10/10 ! Thank you!
Quelles vacances incroyables ! Le Pigat était magnifique et très bien équipé avec des petites attentions particulières, ce qui a rendu notre séjour spécial. La livraison de pain était un délice absolu. Beaucoup de souvenirs précieux au bord de la piscine et nous avons même trouvé la grotte ! Visites également à Bergerac, Périgueux, Monbazillac, Mouleydier, Issigeac, Sarlat-la-Canéda, Domme, Château de Bridoire, Saint-Émilion et Brantôme. Sans oublier Eymet et Trémolat. Tous de beaux endroits qui méritent une visite. De nombreux restaurants en particulier aussi. Certains rustiques, certains gastronomiques. Cela va nous manquer d'être au chaud, au bord de la piscine et dans un cadre magnifique. Merci beaucoup.
Notre famille de 10 personnes a séjourné ici pendant une semaine et a adoré chaque instant. L'attention portée aux détails dans le château était merveilleuse. Tout ce dont nous aurions pu avoir besoin était fourni. Philippe et Frédérique étaient les hôtes les plus merveilleux. Nous recommandons vivement le Château de Marquisat !
Awesome! Kids LOVED it. Beautiful grounds and so much space, also spotless clean. Very well equipped, even had sharp knives! Superb setting. Great BBQ. Help and good advice always available. Indian food was great! Lovely way to start the holiday after hours of driving! We have stayed at many holiday homes and this is right up there as one of, if not the best we have stayed at!
Steven and Bruce have a fantastic place and they really went the extra mile to make our stay totally enjoyable. We've been staying at places in France for 20 or so years and we always come back fairly pleased, but perhaps with one or two thoughts about how something or other could have been better, but I think this is the first time we've come back and been unable to think of anything that was less than perfect.
Merveilleux séjour dans une magnifique villa. Base idéale pour explorer cette belle partie de la France. J'ai passé la plupart des soirées sur la terrasse à profiter du coucher de soleil. J'y retournerais sans hésiter lors de mon retour dans cette région.
