Thomas a été irréprochable de la réservation au départ. 10/10. Merci Thomas ! Nous avons passé un un très bon séjour à la villa. Un grand merci à Thomas pour son accueil et son accompagnement tout au long de notre séjour. La villa est superbe et très bien aménagée: la cuisine est idéale pour un groupe. Les chambres sont décorées avec goût et offrent des prestations d'un bel hôtel. Les vacances sont passées trop vite !
The house is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. The rooms are large and the beds are nice. The pool is perfect and well maintained and the beautiful large garden with multiple seating areas offers enough relaxation space for a group of 7 or more. What we were most impressed with is the beautiful kitchen with a large range of pans and other kitchen utensils. We love to cook so we were very satisfied with this. All in all, a fantastic house with an attentive host who responds quickly to questions.
An amazing house with everything we needed for a family of 3 generations to get together. Spacious, well appointed and beautifully decorated, great swimming pool and surrounding gardens. Close to the main square full of restaurants, bars and shops. Evening and weekly markets in the town were lively and well worth a visit. Our host was welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. We would certainly recommend. Fabulous!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Orchard Farmhouse and would have no problem recommending this beautiful house to friends and family. We liked eating on the terrace admiring the spectacular view of the Dordogne landscape. Great facilities for the children, especially in the games room. Piglet Barn is a wonderful place to stay and Annie and John have been such perfect hosts, and gave us such a warm welcome. Vouvant is a lovely and very friendly village and an easy walk from the Barn. We enjoyed visiting the restaurants and doing the local walks and exploring the area. The weather has been perfect so we loved the superb pool. I'm sure we will be back before too long.
Our fifth visit - and we never tire of Maison Rohmer. It remains a charming - and very comfortable - hideaway. Roll on next year!
We had a wonderful time at your beautiful domain. We explored the region extensively, but would love to come back again to enjoy more of the peace and quiet here on your property. Just returned from your villa in Fitou. We had a wonderful time, house was beautiful, swimming pool ideal for the kids. Did a few day trips as recommended in your folder. In all a very enjoyable stay, probably one of our nicest holidays to date! Thanks a lot.
Nous étions les premiers français à séjourner dans cette maison, très agréable et pratique pour la vie de famille, notamment avec des enfants. Chaque chambre dispose de sa salle de bains, ce qui a été très apprécié. La cuisine est bien équipée et nous avons eu un très joli panier garni d'arrivée. Mille mercis pour cela nous avons beaucoup aimé. Le jardin est extrêmement agréable, clos, avec un terrain de pétanque au fond et des jeux pour les enfants. Ensuite, une grange à été réhabilitée et accueille plusieurs jeux : billard, baby-foot, ping-pong, fléchettes. Il est aussi possible de jouer au badminton et des raquettes sont a disposition. Idéal même quand il ne fait pas beau.
Where do we start! Arrived at the gite and drove through the private gated entrance to see beautiful grounds and a very inviting swimming pool. Jean and Martyn were waiting to show us around and were the perfect hosts throughout our stay. The gite, grounds, outdoor kitchen and pool all immaculate and made for the perfect stay. The washing machine, dishwasher and many fridges are an added bonus. The bedrooms and bathroom a good size, fab open plan kitchen, diner and living room. Lots of extras in the kitchen which is great. Lauzun is a great little village with all the amenities you need, several other pretty villages near by (Issigeac and Eymet are lovely) Large hyper/supermarkets and various shops in Bergerac, 30mins away or a decent size Intermarche 10mins away. We would highly recommend the gite and will definitely be returning. Thank you Jean and Martyn for your letting us stay in your lovely property and not forgetting the very friendly, fluffy, German Shepherd Tanner. We had the best time, enjoyed sharing our many bottles of vino and our evening with you in Eymet.

Cette année encore, je souhaite vivement renouveler notre séjour. Cet endroit incarne l’essence même d’une demeure accueillante pour les amis, à mille lieues des locations impersonnelles et dénuées de chaleur. Chez toi, on ressent immédiatement une atmosphère chaleureuse, empreinte de ton goût exquis et d’une âme véritable. Chaque année, tu nous réserves des surprises merveilleuses : une nouvelle chambre aménagée avec un soin et une originalité sans pareils, un jardin qui se transforme, un potager qui nous offre des légumes de saison d’une qualité exceptionnelle. Et que dire des aventures mémorables que nous avons vécues, ainsi que de la vue imprenable sur la Provence et le majestueux Pont du Gard lors de nos petits déjeuners. Grâce à toi, ce lieu se transforme en une véritable maison de famille. Nous commençons déjà à compter les jours qui nous séparent de notre prochain séjour. À très bientôt.
It’s hard to know where to begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. Your property is so well set up and we made good use of the barbecue, tennis court, boules, darts, table tennis and of course, the pool which beats all other swimming pools we’ve ever had on holiday... and the shady areas when the sun got just that bit too hot. So much thought has obviously gone into it all and it made our holiday very special. The four teenage grandchildren we had with us had a ball and we all loved the Lot countryside, its villages and the sunflowers. How can you not be happy when you’ve got fields of them within a few steps from your door? The two Marches Gourmands we went to at Tournon and Saux were brilliant fun - the food on offer at Saux was particularly good and Tournon is such a pretty place. Our daughter loved going for early morning runs, seeing a hare and on two occasions, a deer, amongst sunflowers. Swimming in the Lot, cycling and canoeing are all on our list of favourite things we did. We also have a great picture of three of the red squirrels on the tree near the bolet - what a brilliant place for breakfast. Thank you so very much from all of us. We've had a lovely week here at the villa. It's been especially good for our youngest family member who has really enjoyed playing here. We loved the heated pool, especially when the clouds come over the fun can continue. Absolutely recommend a trip to see Carcassonne for those wanting a day trip, but remember to check what is open. A beautiful romantic setting carefully renovated by the owner to give a wonderful Provençal experience. The closeness to Gordes and all the other hill top villages nearby made this a dream vacation for myself and my family.
We have just returned from a wonderful 2 week stay. The gite is very well appointed with lots of games, which our daughter really enjoyed. We especially enjoyed the warm swimming pool (cleaned daily), summer kitchen, beautiful garden and multiple outside seating areas. It is very well located and within easy reach of some beautiful Bastide villages. We especially liked Villareal and Eymet. Special thanks to Jean and Martin, who are perfect hosts and on hand to provide recommendations if needed. The local village of Lauzun is within a five-minute walk and we recommend the boulangerie and weekly table gourmands held during the summer. We are already planning a return visit!

What can I say but awesome. We all arrived at the same time to drive up the long drive to the picturesque château. Obviously we had seen pictures but they did not do it justice. We were met with a glass of bubbly and were shown around the property. It was like being shown around a personal home rather than a holiday rental property. There was everything you could want for a relaxing holiday for our two families, including a tennis court, swimming pool, snooker / pool table, croquet set and the all important ice machine as we were in the middle of a heat wave. All the rooms were luxurious with all but one bedroom (which had it's own bathroom) having ensuite bathrooms and the two main bedrooms having dressing rooms as well. The grounds were spectacular and there was even gorgeous little chapel. The best endorsement I can give is that we were all discussing how we could come back next year.
