A lovely place to stay. Hospitable reception. Beautiful surroundings within easy reach of Orange, Avignon, Pont du Gard and Uzès. Highly recommended.
Je voulais juste vous remercier pour ces 2 semaines merveilleuses dans votre charmante maison. Il y a tant à faire dans la région ! C'était très amusant.
Merci beaucoup d'avoir partagé votre magnifique maison avec nous pour notre lune de miel. Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment à explorer la vallée de la Loire, vivement recommandé, nous avons même pu passer 3 jours au bord de la piscine ! Le jardin est tout simplement magnifique et fait honneur à votre travail acharné.
We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful and above all cozy villa. Very tastefully and comfortably furnished. The beautiful vintage cuisine is a highlight. The bathrooms were also very stylish and spacious. The large garden on several floors is dreamy. Especially when the many flowers bloom. The mountain views were magnificent and an absolute haven of peace compared to noisy and busy city life at home. The manager Sophie is a very enjoyable and friendly person! Very accommodating and always available. Thank you so much! We will be back!!!

Thank you so much Thierry and Véronique for making us so welcome in your beautiful house. We've thoroughly enjoyed a mixture of exploring and relaxing. Highlights have included the great week in Chauvigny (as well as exploring the medieval town), canoeing along a scenic stretch of the river at Angles sur L’Anglin, and exploring the châteaux. Afterwards, a day trip to Poitiers and an excellent visit to Futuroscope. We finished each day relaxing in the pool and playing boules. All in all, a wonderful week in a beautiful area.
We had a wonderful time, not just about the beauty of France, but also of your lovely house, which is done in good taste, to be enjoyed by us. Pete, thank you for your guidance and help! Our stay here will be part of our memories.
May 2024 A lovely well presented place to stay with everything you need in a cozy, clean house. Pool was lovely and heated for us even in early May. Close to Carcassonne and loads of nice local walks. Peaceful village.
Had a lovely weekend at Les Oliviers du Sud. Beautiful flat with all the trimmings and a great view!

Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux au Cottage du Jardin, une maison pleine de charme et digne d'une carte postale. Thonac est idéalement situé pour visiter cette partie de la Dordogne, et la proximité des restaurants et des commerces est un atout considérable. Un grand merci à Caterina et Steve pour leur chaleureux accueil.
Thank you so much for having us and being such wonderful hosts. We've all had such a brilliant time and it really has felt like a home from home. Kit (5 years old) is really going to miss his daily swim, it's been so nice to see his confidence grow. I'm sure we'll be back !
Nous avons adoré le piano et en avons joué tous les jours. Nous avons également adoré la piscine car elle très bonne tout en restant rafraîchissante. Merci Frédéric, jolie maison, faut-il vraiment rentrer?
Nous étions un groupe de 7 adultes et avons passé une semaine absolument fabuleuse dans votre villa. Il est très rare qu’une villa fonctionne à tous les niveaux, mais la vôtre l’a vraiment fait. Tellement d’espace – et si bien pensé, avec absolument tout ce dont on pourrait avoir besoin. Et oui – bien mieux que ne le laissaient penser les photos. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le fromage et le vin à notre arrivée – le pain et le pâté durant la semaine – et bien sûr le repas à La Tour, qui était tout simplement incroyable ! Nous avons bien profité des vélos (malgré le froid et l’humidité !) et sommes allés plusieurs fois jusqu’à Montady (une belle balade sur la piste cyclable). Nous avons visité Béziers, Carcassonne et Minerve – mais surtout – nous avons pu nous détendre, discuter et rire ! Merci Philippe. Quelle semaine formidable.
We have had a wonderful time at your villa, whilst the UK shivered and got rained on, we have been exploring the locality. The villa was everything it claimed to be and much more, our best choice so far in Languedoc. A wonderful holiday!
Steven and Bruce have a fantastic place and they really went the extra mile to make our stay totally enjoyable. We've been staying at places in France for 20 or so years and we always come back fairly pleased, but perhaps with one or two thoughts about how something or other could have been better, but I think this is the first time we've come back and been unable to think of anything that was less than perfect.
We all had an amazing time in this beautiful villa. The location is really convenient and we walked to all the beaches and shops and restaurants. The swimming pool was lots of fun and the views are spectacular.
Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour à la maison, elle se situe dans une belle région de la France. Nous avons profité de la piscine et apprécié la clim dans la maison.
Des vacances fantastiques et nous adorerions y retourner. Le marché nocturne de Lacapelle un incontournable, ainsi que Parc en Ciel, le kayak à Vitrac et bien sûr la piscine.
Nous avons passé des vacances très reposantes en famille (et avec notre chien) dans la villa. Philippe est un hôte fabuleux, rien n'est trop pour lui. Les petites attentions telles que les livraisons de petit-déjeuner et le repas au restaurant étaient merveilleuses. Le temps n'a pas déçu. (38°C), donc la piscine était bien nécessaire. Béziers et Sète valent bien une visite pour les vues et les repas. Dans l'ensemble, c'est exactement ce dont nous avions besoin.
C'était fantastique. Merci ! La maison était superbe et toute la famille a beaucoup apprécié le séjour. Nous reviendrons certainement l'année prochaine.
Un séjour très agréable dans une maison de rêve. Calme et paisible. Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans cette belle maison. Les hôtes sont sympathiques et très accueillants. Je recommande vivement cette maison.
Thank you so much for providing this little patch of paradise for our holiday. Such a lovely house and garden, a wonderful view and a haven of tranquility. Suffice to say that none of us wanted to leave.
We have spent a short yet sweet time in Maison Saint-Julien. It was a perfect place to stay and we couldn’t ask for much more! Main highlights were chilling by the pool and enjoying a dusk on the top deck. A drink in the little bar on the town square was perfect.
Magical, inviting, soothing, AMAZING! The villa was truly magical, while also invoking a sense of home. The community areas are large enough that you never feel crowded and there are several places to "hide" within the property for true soul searching/peace with a magnificent view at every turn. Very well maintained and quaint restaurants/shops just a short walk away, but not too close(you still feel tucked away). HIGHLY recommend!!
The house and the grounds are fantastic. The rooms were all spacious and we particularly appreciated the bedroom set up with interlinking rooms from the nursery. We really enjoyed exploring the grounds and went for walks/runs. The children loved exploring the forest area. The swimming pool was fantastic. Loungers etc comfortable. The kids loved the swings etc and the playroom was well stocked. Everything we needed was here. The food was delicious and we really appreciate you taking into account the intolerances. Story book house in a story book setting... We very happily spent the month of August in this charming, comfortable and clean Provençal house. Although it's only minutes from marvellous food shopping and useful services (super market, cafés, restaurants, fitness center, bank, etc. ) it feels private and a world apart. The owner was unfailingly gracious and readily available by phone or email to her London location. As for the world famous village of Gordes and the whole Luberon area... it's one of our most favorite places on the planet.
Nous avons passé une semaine fantastique à Sarlat et ses environs. Le lieu idéal pour des vacances en famille. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les jardins d'Eyrignac et de Marqueyssac, mais il y avait tellement de choses à faire et à voir ici. Le Bistro De L'Octroi, en face, est fantastique.
