Great house in a great location. Enjoyed by all ages 9 to 70 years. Something for everybody. Kids and adults wowed with the pool.

Beautiful property in a beautiful tranquil setting. Close to Gordes, but not overlooked. Amenities are good and pool perfect. Only slight issue for some might be need to go through one bedroom to get to next; and stairs step. But for us... perfect.
Russell and Karen are phenomenal hosts. The whole stay here has been magical. Two of the most helpful and loving people you will meet whose love is felt throughout every inch of the property. STAY HERE!
La maison est géniale, chaque chambre possède son indépendance en terme de douche et WC. Elle est très spacieuse et bien fournie: un billard, Ping pong, barbecue, rétroprojecteur, énorme cuisine/bar très bien équipée et piscine (non chauffée). L’hôtesse d’accueil est très sympa.
Maison très agréable, idéale pour un week-end en famille car chaque chambre a sa propre salle de bain et une chambre idéal pour des personnes âgées. La deco est de très bon goût, nous avons passé un excellent week-end. Merci Christophe. À une prochaine fois
Nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances à la villa. La villa est idéale, spacieuse et joliment décorée. Les enfants ont adoré la piscine et la table de ping-pong ! C'est une base idéale pour visiter la région. Le marché de Pézenas est à ne pas manquer. Nous avons navigué sur bateau, monté des chevaux, loué des vélos à Marseillan et vu des flamants roses ! Des vacances de rêve. Merci encore pour votre gentillesse et votre accueil. À bientôt.
An excellent villa - with everything one could need including a good selection of herbs in the garden for those who enjoy cooking. Pézenas is a lovely place - lovely potteries (some going home with us) good restaurants and bars - spoilt for choice. Delight to discover that the description is perfect. All in all a 5 star holiday.
We have just spent an amazing fortnight at Maison Labarde in Lauzun hosted by Jean and Martyn. The gite is really well equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay and is cool inside, even in hot weather. Jean kindly provided many complementary extras for our arrival which was very much appreciated. A great outside kitchen with gas BBQ and additional fridge was perfect for outdoor dining and drinking! The pool was immaculate and cleaned daily by Martyn and there were various floats, water toys and inflatables available; the water temperature was just right- in fact it didn’t drop below 28 degrees for the whole fortnight. We enjoyed the extensive garden using the various seating areas available, all with parasols/ gazebo for shade if needed. It’s a lovely part of France with lots of Bastide towns to visit with markets, fetes and musical events in the summer months, as well as vineyards and châteaux for wine tastings at every turn!! Jean and Martyn were excellent hosts, friendly and informative about local events and places to visit. We have no hesitation in recommending this holiday gite and hope that we can return at some point in the future! Merci beaucoup!!
I stayed in this stunning house in May this year. It is beautifully presented and very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. It has the added benefits of an outdoor swimming pool and a games room. The owner has gone to great lengths to make this a home away from home! It hides behind pretty old stone walls, just a few steps from the centre of the beautiful historic town of Pezenas. I am looking forward to returning in the future!
We had a lovely stay! The house was completely to our taste, with a magnificent garden and a superb view which allows you to completely disconnect. Everything is available. Tessa who welcomed us was charming. The Mas is even nicer than on the photos. Ideal for a stay with friends or family. We highly recommend.
The highlights for me were swimming lengths in the warm pool, strolling around the beautiful garden with all the different types of trees (olive, fig, pomegranate etc) and exploring the delightful surrounding Provence countryside in its full glory. Despite being a large group of people, the house always felt cool and spacious and the amenities functioned perfectly. There is also a marvellous restaurant within walking distance. Thank you again for making my holiday so enjoyable.
This flat was wonderful. Location is great, 5 minute drive from Beaulieu, 10 minute walk to train station. Coffee and snacks right at the edge of the property and a few restaurants within walking distance. Very quiet area. Right on the water. This flat had absolutely everything we could want to enjoy our stay. Kitchen is a nice size and has all amenities. The two bedrooms were great. Dining area and living room were spacious and comfortable and the balcony was large and nicely furnished. Washer and dryer were convenient to have. Communication with Ben and the owner was easy. The place also came with beach chairs. The only clarification I’d make is that the bathroom is one toilet, one shower and one sink.
We enjoyed a very happy week at the villa. The only problem was that the villa is so nice that most of our plans for getting out and about were abandoned! We loved the privacy of the garden and pool area.
We had a lovely holiday here ! The place was beautifully quiet and well-equipped. Pau is definitely worth a visit with wonderful restaurants. We had a great stay and are heading home fully recharged.

Exceptional house in an exceptional setting! The house is ideally located, away from the tourist crowds with magnificent hikes nearby but close enough to Apt for basic needs. The house is as pleasant indoors in bad weather as it is outdoors the rest of the time. The kitchen is very well equipped. The host was available before the stay to advise us on all logistical aspects. An on-site contact was also made during the stay.
What a beautiful location, breathtaking. A very warm welcome, you feel at home because of the fine reception. The hosts help you with everything you could want. The gîte is also spick and span and meets all your needs. Had a very relaxing holiday. Exactly as it should be! We recommend it to everyone and will definitely come here again.
The place is lovely and very well furnished. As someone else said in your guest book, your house offers almost everything we were hoping for in our holiday in France. A large, well-appointees home with fantastic views and a cool fairly deep pool, proximity to a nice town where supplies are aplenty; vineyards in the surroundings and even a couple of michelin-starred restaurants nearby.
Nous tenons à vous dire combien nous avons apprécié La Cigalière. La maison et la piscine étaient agréables. Charlotte a été très serviable et tout était parfait pour nos vacances. Nous venons en France depuis près de 20 ans et nous reviendrons sans hésiter dans cette villa. Merci pour ces belles vacances.
Je vais préfacer cet avis en précisant que notre grande famille a loué un certain nombre de châteaux au fil des ans, nous avons donc de quoi comparer ! Sans aucun doute, ce château offrait le meilleur rapport qualité-prix que nous ayons jamais trouvé. Notre groupe de 18 personnes a utilisé les 10 chambres proposées, sans que personne n'ait à faire de compromis sur l'espace de la chambre. La cuisine était assez grande pour accueillir toute le groupe avec suffisamment de plan de travail et un grand îlot. Pour une fois, nous avons trouvé beaucoup d'ustensiles de cuisine et de casseroles de taille professionnelle, etc. Il y a trois réfrigérateurs, nous avons utilisé le grand réfrigérateur pour la nourriture et les deux réfrigérateurs sous le comptoir pour les boissons «adultes» et enfants. Le salon-salle à manger est immense et confortable, avec des jeux de bonne qualité disponibles, notamment des échecs et du backgammon. La piscine est parmi les plus grandes que nous ayons jamais utilisées avec un bassin profond dans lequel vous pouvez réellement plonger. À certains moments, nous avions une douzaine de personnes dans la piscine et nous avions encore de la place pour nager. Il y a deux terrasses principales, toutes deux pouvant facilement accueillir au moins 20 personnes. De plus petits espaces salons sont disséminés sur le terrain, donc si vous y êtes enclin, vous pouvez vous retirer pour un peu de paix et de tranquillité. Il y a un barbecue de très bonne qualité sur la terrasse arrière avec un plateau à charbon mobile, ce qui signifie que vous pouvez augmenter la source de chaleur lorsque le charbon brûle. Nous avons pu faire un barbecue pendant 18 heures sur un demi-sac de morceaux de bois. Notre groupe avait 5 voitures, l'allée était assez grande pour qu'elles puissent être garées afin que tout le monde puisse sortir du château sans avoir besoin de déplacer un autre véhicule. Gardant le meilleur pour la fin, la salle de sport/salle de jeux est magnifique. Avec un terrain de badminton pleine grandeur, un panier de basket-ball, 2 tables de tennis de table, un baby-foot, un jeu de fléchettes et une table de billard pleine grandeur, tout notre groupe avait de nombreuses activités parmi lesquelles choisir. Cette installation était constamment utilisée pour les éliminatoires d'une semaine, y compris notre propre événement de type décathlon. La pudeur m'empêche de révéler qui était le meilleur joueur de billard. De notre point de vue, cette vaste gamme d'installations et d'activités a fourni les ingrédients parfaits à nos premières vacances où nous n'avions pas à divertir les enfants. Enfin un endroit où ils peuvent vraiment s'amuser. Enfin, Richard et Nicky étaient des hôtes parfaits, nous n'aurions pas pu être mieux reçus.
We would just like to say a massive thank you for the week we have just spent at Pech d'aze. It truly is a fantastic home. We could have stayed another week so easily! It was so peaceful and every night we would watch the sunset from the field below with a bottle of wine and listen to the frogs singing from the pond. Weather was lovely and both of us made good use of the pool. We had a BBQ every night and left charcoal for the next lucky guests
Demeure très jolie et accueillante. Et havre de paix. Les hôtes sont très disponibles et très sympathiques. Je recommande sans modération cet endroit calme et bucolique.

Fabulous home in a beautiful location This was easily one of the best holidays we have had. The house itself is beautiful, it's been refurbished to a high standard from the waterfall showers in the high spec bathrooms to the large range in the kitchen to the cosy decorating in the bedrooms. The back garden has a lovely private in ground pool to cool off in and the surrounding patio has loungers to sunbathe in and is surrounded by pretty landscaping. There are endless beaches and historic towns to visit within short driving distance but you will be equally as content not leaving the house. The village is lovely, it has a couple of pubs and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk from the house, along with boulangeries, a butchers, green grocers and a supermarket. Markets every other day in the square. The house is within a stones throw of it all which we found so handy. Terry was always available should you need any assistance and was very thoughtful and considerate, as was his housekeeper agent Paul. I can't say enough about this property, it was fabulous in every way!
We were so impressed with the quality of this home with a high contemporary finish in every room. The kitchen and lounge dinner opens onto an exquisite terrace with far reaching views and ideal for outdoor dinning . Loved the pool area with private patio. This is in the centre of a charming village with all amenities. The unspoilt coastline is stunning and to think it's under an hour from the airport. We would strongly recommend this home and we can't wait to return. Did we forget to mention it's also exceptional value for money.
La maison est magnifique et se prête à des moments de partage parfait. Son côté cosy, son équipement très complet nous invitent à profiter de chaque instant. Les chambres offrent indépendance et grand confort. Toute la famille a adoré. La vue est magnifique à toute heure et la terrasse devient un pur bonheur au premier rayon de soleil. Les environs n'ont rien à envier à la Toscane et cette douceur de vivre ! Sandie et David ont été très sympathiques et ont répondu à toutes nos attentes. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.
Merci pour une quinzaine fantastique ! C'était un endroit merveilleux pour célébrer un anniversaire spécial avec des amis et la famille. La maison était magnifique et nous avons apprécié l'atmosphère luxueuse et la décoration de bon goût. Les petites attentions ont été très appréciées : des livraisons de petit-déjeuner au repas et au cadre incroyables du Pourquoi Pas. Nous avons également apprécié la visite de la grotte de Saint-Chinian. Nous avons apprécié le repas au restaurant familial La Tournelle, un service amical et des prix très raisonnables. Pour un autre déjeuner gastronomique avec une vue impressionnante, nous avons apprécié le Tour à Monterey. Un déjeuner à prix raisonnable. Merci pour tout.
Nous avons passé une semaine très reposante. Nous avons fait beaucoup de choses et sommes à nouveau pleins d'énergie. Merci pour votre accueil et votre maison si accueillante et propre.
