Thank you so much for a wonderful stay in such a beautiful setting! We has a wonderful time. we loved the pool especially in the 40 °c heat! A truly magical place!
We had a fantastic week of vacation with friends at Mas du Château. The house, the pool, the bedding, the exteriors... everything is set up to have a perfect time! The house is perfectly insulated so that the most fetards in the group can take care of your feet in the water and the rest can sleep without problem. We'll be happy to go back, including off-season!:) Christophe is an available and attentive host. He has carefully renovated the house with care and commitment.

Je pense que votre maison est probablement la meilleure maison dans laquelle nous ayons séjourné en France au fil des ans. Elle est juste fabuleuse ! Nous avons passé une semaine vraiment fantastique ici et je suis presque sûr que nous aurons envie de revenir l'année prochaine. Votre maison a été si agréable... J'ai lu quelques livres ici, j'ai aussi adoré parcourir les livres de la table basse. Votre panier de bienvenue était le plus généreux que nous ayons jamais reçu dans les maisons que nous avons louées. Nous avons pu également utiliser des serviettes de piscine. Et je sais que cela ressemble un peu à une critique d'hôtel, mais les draps, les serviettes et les salles de bain étaient de qualité supérieure! Nous avons commencé à faire nos bagages ! P.S. Nous sommes allés au Moulin pour le déjeuner et c'était superbe. Nous vous contacterons pour, espérons-le, réserver à nouveau la même semaine l'année prochaine.

Nous étions un groupe de 7 adultes et avons passé une semaine absolument fabuleuse dans votre villa. Il est très rare qu’une villa fonctionne à tous les niveaux, mais la vôtre l’a vraiment fait. Tellement d’espace – et si bien pensé, avec absolument tout ce dont on pourrait avoir besoin. Et oui – bien mieux que ne le laissaient penser les photos. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le fromage et le vin à notre arrivée – le pain et le pâté durant la semaine – et bien sûr le repas à La Tour, qui était tout simplement incroyable ! Nous avons bien profité des vélos (malgré le froid et l’humidité !) et sommes allés plusieurs fois jusqu’à Montady (une belle balade sur la piste cyclable). Nous avons visité Béziers, Carcassonne et Minerve – mais surtout – nous avons pu nous détendre, discuter et rire ! Merci Philippe. Quelle semaine formidable.

Nous avons passé une agréable quinzaine ici à Bessan. La maison était confortable et paisible. Le temps a été magnifique pendant tout notre séjour, contrairement au Royaume-Uni ! Nous avons apprécié les villes voisines, notamment Agde. Nous nous souviendrons de ces vacances et ne voulons pas rentrer à la maison cet après-midi. Merci beaucoup.
Un grand merci pour des vacances merveilleuses et très relaxantes dans votre belle maison. Tout était super, surtout les livraisons de pain tôt le matin, et le repas au Pourquoi Pas - un vrai régal ! Nous réserverons certainement à nouveau pour revenir à la Maison des Communes plus tard. Merci!
I liked everything; the location chosen for professional reasons quickly became a second home thanks to the owners, who were very friendly and available, always attentive to our needs and extremely professional. The house is splendid, every detail is carefully arranged.
We have had a wonderful week at Château du Pic de Rigaud and enjoyed every minute! The weather has got better and better and we've had perfect days by the pool. The château has been incredibly comfortable and provided everything we needed. We have enjoyed exploring Najac including the Wednesday evening market. Thank you to Henrietta and Peter for all your help and bookings. We will miss this wonderful house and grounds and our morning walks to the Boulangerie. We hope to return.
We had a great time at this big house. It is very well-equipped for a dozen people. The pool is very appreciated, as well as the amenities offered (pétanque, badminton, ping pong...). Shops are accessible by car. The environment is very quiet, overlooking the fields and the forest which makes the house all the more pleasant.

We have enjoyed several wonderful visits to this most delightful property set in bucolic rolling countryside. The house is elegant and extremely comfortable, giving maximal privacy inside and out so that guests can enjoy the peace, whether swimming in the lovely pool, or just relaxing in shade or sun. There is also a lovely terrace for al fresco dining and a fabulous collection of books. The creation of the gardens is masterful . We loved the nearby market in Condom and the creamy stone architecture of the area.
I cannot say how much I love this amazing old stone farmhouse; it has been so immaculately restored and is both stylish and supremely comfortable. The gardens are beautiful (what a fantastic collection of Salvias) and the infinity pool, with its view over the surrounding countryside, is a dream ( both for proper swimming of lengths and for sunbathing). I could spend all day here. It is lovely to have a choice of outdoor eating areas for long lunches or relaxing dinners. I love the fact the there are lots of delightful historic Bastide towns within easy driving distance, both for historical sightseeing , fabulous food markets and outstanding restaurants (Auberge Le Prieure at Moirax being my personal favourite !) I have visited the house three times now and each visit has been magic.

We could not have made a better decision than to come to Villa La Baronne to spend the end of the year. The house is magnificent, the location unbeatable both for the surroundings (the river, the forest, the small towns...) and the proximity to Toulouse. The house has the services you expect and much more. An excellent experience that I hope we can repeat again. Thanks to Isabelle and Philippe for offering Villa La Baronne guests a five-star stay. We had the most magical week at the enchanting Château Mabrouke. A beautiful house with outstanding facilities set in a most stunningly unspoilt expanse of French countryside. With some gloriously grand rooms in the château, immaculate gardens and seemingly endless out-buildings, Château Mabrouke still had a wonderfully homely feel to it. We enjoyed days spent splashing in the pool, long lunches and drinks with a view. And a couple of nights of being cooked for and hosted by the lovely Martin and Philippa were an absolute treat. Visits to the nearby pretty towns of Foix and Mirepoix were lovely and other places to recommend include the stunning Montsegur and some interesting prehistoric caves near the charming town of Mas d'Azil. All in all a most heavenly escape. We look forward to returning.
Back again! We loved our stay here so much we decided to come back and it did not disappoint. The kids loved the pool and we enjoyed both local walks (marked maps provided at the house). Impressive thunder storms and lovely blue skies. Would recommend Castres, Revel and Hautpoul for local trips (all within 30 to 40 minutes drive).
Je n'écris pas souvent d'avis, mais si je pouvais mettre 10 étoiles, je le ferais. La Charmante Distillerie est tout simplement incroyable. Mark et Gary sont des personnes chaleureuses, gentilles et authentiques qui se surpassent pour rendre votre séjour inoubliable. Je suis très exigeante en matière de propreté et je peux honnêtement dire que cette maison est vraiment la plus propre que j'aie jamais visitée, le souci du détail est exceptionnel. Les lits sont les plus confortables que j'aie jamais utilisés et il y a tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin, et plus encore. La piscine chauffée était magnifique, le terrain de pétanque extérieur nous a amusés, adultes et enfants. Le Wi-Fi est excellent. De nombreux espaces salon et repas confortables sont situés dans le magnifique parc, avec la campagne et la forêt environnantes. Nous avons veillé tard chaque soir pour observer les étoiles, ce qui en valait vraiment la peine. Un merci en particulier à Mark et Gary pour avoir été les meilleurs hôtes que j'aie jamais eu le plaisir de rencontrer.
Both (the house and grounds) are absolutely beautiful and fantastic for parents and children alike. Despite a lot of activities in and around the area, we chose to stay 'in' more than we had expected because of how good the house and grounds were. A stunning location which surpassed our expectations. Both this and the hosts made this into a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. THE BEST FAMILY HOLIDAY WE'VE HAD - Thank you for everything! X
You have been incredible hosts, communication and recommendations were excellent. The house exceeded all of our expectations and we all had an incredible time making good use of all that was on offer! Stuart and I particularly enjoyed the table tennis which got quite competitive! We most definitely will be back again soon!
J'ai séjourné dans cette superbe villa avec mes 3 enfants (13, 12 et 10 ans). C'est une très belle maison sur une belle propriété avec beaucoup de choses à faire à moins de 30 minutes en voiture. En fin de journée après les visites diverses, la piscine et la terrasse étaient parfaites pour se reposer, apprécier la belle vue et goûter aux vins locaux. Il y a tout le necessaire pour passer un superbe séjour en famille. Je recommande vivement cette maison!

This is a very peaceful and relaxing place, it was interesting watching the wine growers gathering their grape harvest, lots of beautiful scenery, places to visit and some lovely restaurants. We enjoyed cooking at the house with the very well equipped kitchen and some very nice decor touches around the house. A fantastic introduction to this part of France. We will return.
The house is a magical island setting in the countryside, with a wonderful rural and secluded ambiance. The size and comfort are simply perfect. I loved the morning runs in nature and the breakfasts on the terrace. Carelle and her husband are warm and supportive owners. The three dogs present themselves from time to time as friendly travelers. A great experience.
Fantastic barn conversion, amazing location and wonderful facilities including a large swimming pool. Would highly recommend. The owner was super helpful throughout. The local villages have all the shops and services needed. We loved the rolling hills for jogging.
Nous pouvons honnêtement dire que la Villa Baleyssagues est la meilleure propriété dans laquelle nous ayons séjourné en France. Les photographies sur le site ne rendent pas vraiment justice à la maison. Elle est située dans une magnifique position surélevée, avec des vues spectaculaires sur la campagne environnante. La maison offre un équipement haut de gamme avec de la vaisselle et des couverts en abondance. Il y avait tellement de petites attentions, avec des compositions florales fraîches dans plusieurs chambres et le meilleur pack de bienvenue que nous ayons jamais eu au cours de nos sept années de visite en France. Merci Frédéric de nous avoir accueilli à la Villa et de s'être occupé de nous pendant notre séjour.
