Great house, wonderful weather, lovely city. We loved the pool, the bike ride along the Canal du Midi, we enjoyed having space in a rented house. The decoration of the house is very well done and we feel very relaxed now.
Nous avons pleinement profité de notre semaine dans ce magnifique cottage de conte de fées. Le cadre est superbe, des charmants jardins qui entourent la maison aux arbres gracieux qui entourent la piscine. La grande piscine était l'endroit idéal pour se détendre, malgré les températures qui ont dépassé les 40 °C cette semaine. Le cottage est frais et spacieux, et offre tout le confort nécessaire pour un séjour agréable. Son emplacement est également idéal pour explorer la région, riche en sites historiques intéressants et en villages charmants à visiter. Nos hôtes, Caterina et Stephen, étaient sympathiques et accueillants. Ils ont veillé à notre intimité, tout en restant toujours disponibles en cas de besoin. Nous recommandons sans hésiter ce magnifique cottage et espérons pouvoir y retourner prochainement.
Thank you for a wonderful week here. It has been a much needed escape from the hectic life of London. The ambiance of the house and grounds is so serene and peaceful. Scenery is breathtaking. Thank you for your hospitality and generosity in showing us the château and the wine tasting. You are an incredible force of nature. Your transformation of this property is miraculous.
We had a lovely time in a beautifully converted villa. So much space for relaxing and the kids to roam free at the table tennis out building or down by the pool. My wife and I have been visiting France for over 20 years and The Loft is the best property we have stayed at. The photographs on the website do not do it justice. Russell and Karen have fitted out The Loft with wonderful taste and all of the bathrooms are top quality including the selection of toiletries left for their guests to use. Their attention to detail is second to none. We received an extensive welcome pack when we arrived at the house and Karen even delivered fresh pastries for breakfast on the Sunday morning from the local Boulangerie. Outside the house there is a beautiful pool and garden but the jewel in the crown is the large sheltered "porch area". This is a half open and half covered space off the front of The Loft where you can choose sun or shade during the day. The BBQ is there along with a big dining table and also sofas for relaxing. It’s a fab place to eat and drink during the day or on an evening with a lovely view of the extensive gardens. Rieux Minervois is a nice little town situated in the middle of the Minervois wine region It has a good Italian restaurant within 2 minutes walk from the house, which Karen kindly booked it for us for the night we arrived. The food was very good. The town is also well placed to visit Carcassonne, Narbonne and several of the coastal towns; we particularly enjoyed Gruissan. It is also surrounded by many other small villages with excellent restaurants if you want enjoy a lazy lunch during your holiday. Karen will even book them for you if you ask. Overall we spent a lovely week in The Languedoc. Thank you Russell and Karen for your hospitality and for going to such lengths to make our holiday so memorable.

C'est la deuxième fois que nous venons chez David et Kirstie pour un long week-end entre amis. Tout est toujours parfait. Un hébergement excellent, des hôtes au top et un environnement exceptionnel ! Nous avons adoré notre séjour et nous le recommandons sans hésiter ! Nous reviendrons, c'est sûr.
We enjoyed a fantastic 2 weeks in this lovely house. The pool was very popular (due to the August heatwave - most days were 30 - 33 degrees). It was nice to be given a guided tour of the property by Yvonne and be welcomed with flowers and wine. The house has so much character - It would be lovely to learn a little more about its history and former occupants. We loved lots of the al fresco dining and one particularly memorable cheese and wine night in the candlelit wine cellar! Île de Ré, La Rochelle, Cognac, Marais poitevin are all we worth visiting. Make sure you take a look at the stars on a clean night - we spotted a few shooting stars!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house, beside the river. Everything really comfortable and close to lots of things to do. We had a lovely day in Bordeaux visiting the fantastic cathedral and the great shops. Sadly, we are going home tomorrow but will remember our visit fondly.

Vous pouvez toujours continuer à rechercher d'autres maisons de vacances dans le sud de la France, mais cela n'en vaut pas la peine. Merci aux propriétaires pour deux semaines de vacances parfaites dans leur charmante maison, où rien ne manque.
Endroit très privé et paisible où séjourner. Excellents équipements. La maison était charmante, propre et spacieuse avec toutes les installations nécessaires. En suivant les conseils concernant l'ouverture et la fermeture des volets, etc., nous avons pu trouver de l'ombre et de la fraîcheur à chaque fois que nous en avions besoin. La piscine était également propre et agréable à utiliser - un grand soulagement pendant la partie la plus chaude de la journée. Les boulangeries de Saint-Valentin et de Bivet étaient super (comme partout ailleurs). Intermarché à Bivet s'est avéré pratique mais d'autres sont également disponibles dans d'autres directions. Les excursions en fin d'après-midi à Marseille, Aix-en-Provence sont parfaites et le stationnement est très simple. L'excursion matinale à Cassis pour se rendre à la mer a également été un grand succès. Le stationnement y est bon le matin mais semble beaucoup plus fréquenté plus tard dans la journée.

Belle villa dans une merveilleuse région, paisible et pittoresque, dans la campagne française ! Merci pour ce beau séjour et ces 2 semaines de repos ! Un temps magnifique, de nombreux souvenirs chauds et ensoleillés à ramener à la maison dans une Angleterre pluvieuse. Frédéric était incroyable, très sympathique et serviable.
Merci ! Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine dans votre belle et charmante maison. Elle est si bien équipée avec tout ce dont nous aurions pu avoir besoin. Nous avons tous adoré la piscine. Nos 2 filles se sont bien amusées sur le trampoline et ont joué au ping-pong. Nous avons été ravis de visiter à nouveau Montsoreau, 9 ans après notre dernière visite et maintenant avec 2 enfants maintenant. Nous avons eu un autre bon dîner à Montsoreau en regardant le magnifique coucher de soleil sur la Loire. Avoir du pain frais de Long tous les matins était un régal. Le temps a été parfait et les jours nuageux nous ont beaucoup soulagés. Merci pour votre hospitalité.

Quelles vacances magnifiques! La maison était parfaite pour nous neuf, la vue est magnifique et la piscine était fabuleuse. Nous avons été charmés par Najac - le marché nocturne et le canoë-kayak étaient des temps forts. Nous recommandons vivement les plats à emporter de l'hôtel à Najac. Cordes-sur-Ciel et Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val méritent une visite. Merci d'avoir si bien pris soin de nous, Henrietta! Nous espérons revenir un jour.
Voilà un beau lieu à découvrir. Une irrésistible demeure en parfaite communion avec le paysage et l’environnement des lieux. Calme, charme du lieu, paysage et accueil de Sandie sont et font que le séjour devient magique. Je recommande sans hésiter.

We just wanted to tell you that we really enjoyed the stay in your wonderful house. You have thought of everything to make it so nice and our daughter said that she had come to paradise... All the people that we met; Alan and Cathy, the pool and garden guys and the cleaning ladies were all so nice and helpful. Real assets! And the Rosé in the fridge... This was a very welcome gesture that we enjoyed after the long drive down. Thank you again for sharing your lovely house with us.
If we could give more than 5 stars we would!! This place was beautiful, everything was pristine, stylish, good quality and the house itself was spacious. Gaëlle and Etienne were incredibly hospitable, lovely people and easy to communicate with. Was such a pleasant stay!
We recently returned from a week's holiday at Maison Palatini in Pézenas. We had a wonderful time.
A week at the Mas de Pitou was blissful. The house was comfortable and included everything you would need for a relaxing stay. The view of the Alpilles, bright sunshine throughout the house and the fragrance of lavender and rosemary from the garden completed the picture. I will most definitely return to enjoy more exploring of the regions bounty in farmer's markets, Médiéval villages and stunning views.
To open the shutters of the pretty red bedroom and see that glorious view, gives one a small inkling of why the 'Sun King' built Versailles! This was my 4th visit to Provence and it hasn't disappointed. Many thanks
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette propriété. Tout était conforme à nos attentes et même mieux. Les propriétaires, Benedict et Pierre Balteau, étaient très sympathiques et accueillants. Nous avons hâte de revenir ici lors de notre prochaine visite dans le Languedoc, en Occitanie et nous recommanderons certainement cette propriété à nos amis et à notre famille.
