A relaxing holiday in a beautiful part of France. The house is delightful.
Thank you both for a fabulous week. The Loft du Vigneron is superb and so well fitted out. We have never stayed in such a stylish and immaculate property. You were so welcoming and helpful with all your tips and recommendations and we very much enjoyed your company too. We look forward to seeing the 'big house' when it's finished - maybe next time we'll have a suite! All the very best and thank you for a most relaxing holiday.
Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine en famille. La maison est bien équipée et la piscine est très bien. Pas de bruit la nuit pour un sommeil impeccable. Restaurant à proximité, boulangerie etc... La mer est à proximité. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.
We spent 5 days in September in Château Entre-Deux-Mers, we were 4 couples of friends. It is an exceptional castle very well located with all modern luxury. The building, garden and pool are fascinating and the interior has been recently decorated with design furniture by a very talented architect offering a modern and luxurious experience. A superior place for demanding guests. We recommend to use the available local catering options (dinners and breakfast) who cook excellent meals with respect of local ingredients and recipes. Plenty of wine châteaux to visit in the surroundings and the city of Bordeaux is worth discovering for a guided tour, dinner or cultural activity. We will definitely come back!
Beautiful château, very comfortable for a large group of mixed ages. Fantastic for children and adults alike. Lovely pool and trampoline was well used. Appreciated the DVDs and TV access. Brilliant choice of catering and all delicious. Perfect service, thank you.
Fabulous house, beautifully decorated with everything we could possibly need for a lovely holiday. The pool and pool toys were a great hit with our 4 year old. We have holidayed numerous times in France and this was by far the best, from the welcoming email to the comfy beds and linen. Mark and Janet have made this a beautiful holiday home. We had a hot week and made the most of being at home! Thank you for a lovely stay! P.S. The Tuesday night market in Laparade was fun and definitely worth a visit! Our daughter loved her bedroom + the toys kept her occupied in the morning!
Amazing space of the house led to us having the best family holiday ever for 9 adults and three young children. The outdoor areas are equally fantastic, the pool, Japanese garden with pizza oven was greatly appreciated and we would love to come back and see our host Katie again.
Une semaine merveilleuse à la Maison Baleyssagues. La maison est extrêmement bien aménagée et équipée. Nous avons apprécié cuisiner et avons essayé tous les espaces repas à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur. Certains membres de notre groupe ont même nagé dans la piscine, même si la saison était terminée. Nous avons également apprécié les promenades dans la campagne environnante et trois superbes excursions d'une journée. Nous recommandons vivement La Table de Catusseau - imaginative et exquise. Merci à Frédéric pour de son excellent service.

Three night weekend stay with friends. Very comfortable accommodation decorated to a high standard. Upstairs kitchen, lounge and patio looked over the pool. Brilliant. It was Bastille weekend and World Cup final. Lots going on in village square, bars and restaurants. Beach about 20 minutes drive - really nice with excellent restaurant. Shops and supermarket close by were very helpful. Visited Béziers and Narbonne about 30 minutes drive. Well worth the trip We had a great time and will definitely go back again!

I cannot say how much I love this amazing old stone farmhouse; it has been so immaculately restored and is both stylish and supremely comfortable. The gardens are beautiful (what a fantastic collection of Salvias) and the infinity pool, with its view over the surrounding countryside, is a dream ( both for proper swimming of lengths and for sunbathing). I could spend all day here. It is lovely to have a choice of outdoor eating areas for long lunches or relaxing dinners. I love the fact the there are lots of delightful historic Bastide towns within easy driving distance, both for historical sightseeing , fabulous food markets and outstanding restaurants (Auberge Le Prieure at Moirax being my personal favourite !) I have visited the house three times now and each visit has been magic.
C'est notre deuxième séjour à la Maison Allemans, nous adorons la maison. Quand nous sommes arrivés cette année, Dermod a préparé une salade de viande froide avec du vin et de la bière, le paradis après un long trajet en voiture depuis le Royaume-Uni. Espérons que dans quelques années, nous pourrons revenir avec tous nos nouveaux petits-enfants.
Encore une semaine fantastique ici à la Maison Baleyssagues. Le temps était superbe avec de nombreuses heures heureuses passées dans la piscine. Merci à Frédéric pour son accueil très chaleureux et à son équipe pour avoir rendu la Villa si splendide. Des vacances parfaites.

Thank you so much for the most restful and enjoyable holiday we have had in ages! Everything was made so easy for us - the Loft is fitted out perfectly with so many additional little touches that we wanted for nothing. We particularly enjoyed the barbecue, the fantastic coffee machine (we're buying one when we get home!) and having breakfast and dinner on the amazing terrace. We had a good look round the local area and were particularly grateful for all your tips and recommendations. You have both been the most wonderful hosts and we have really enjoyed getting to know you over a glass of something cold! Thank you so much and we look forward to seeing you again next year!
What an amazing week in a stunning home. The house is exquisitely designed and the attention to detail is fantastic. The views are beautiful and the area so quiet and peaceful. I slept in one of the bedrooms on the ground floor and had the best night's sleep I've had for years… the mattress is heavenly. Not many people can lie in bed watching red squirrels leaping through the surrounding trees can they! The small kitchen area on the ground floor along with the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms means the whole floor can be very separate and quiet if two families were to share the house. The middle floor is a great entertaining space with a spotless and very modern kitchen with dining / living area leading out to the garden and pool. It was a real treat to have the local bar / restaurant within a short walking distance. It's very easy to sit and enjoy the local wine! The one thing I hadn't bargained for was the abundance of wildlife, although with the roads being so quiet I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised. The red squirrels and deer can be seen from the balconies and fantastic infinity pool overlooking the valley. The cushions for the outdoor furniture are very comfy. Once again, there are various areas to sit / eat and enjoy the garden if different age groups or families stay here. So to sum it all up…a fab holiday home in beautiful surroundings – 10 / 10. PS If you attempt the puzzle in the games cupboard… start it as soon as you arrive because it's tricky but irresistible!
We felt truly privileged to have the opportunity to share our special family reunion together at your stunning home. Straight out of an interior design magazine! The countryside, local villages, food and wine were amazing. Can't wait to come back. Merci.
Nous étions un groupe de 20 personnes (5 familles) et avons passé une semaine merveilleuse ! Les chambres sont très confortables (climatisation, grands lits), la cuisine était parfaite pour un grand groupe, la piscine était grande et propre (pas un seul insecte dans l'eau grâce au trop-plein). Tout est joliment décoré et flambant neuf. L'emplacement est tout simplement magnifique avec de magnifiques couchers de soleil. Nous avons effectué une belle visite à la cave du domaine et avons profité d'une dégustation de vins. Nous avons visité Saint-Tropez et la plage de Pampelonne (1h de route), Cotignac (40 min), l'Île de Porquerolles en catamaran depuis Hyères (1h) et fait du canyoning dans les Gorges du Verdon (2h de route). Il y a donc beaucoup de choses à faire mais vous devrez passer du temps dans la voiture. Et enfin et surtout : Thomas est un hôte formidable. Il est toujours disponible et prêt à aider de toutes les manières possibles.
A beautiful home in a private location- a perfect base. For us, the best bits- The property is all yours. No near neighbours, nobody overlooking you, a private pool (enclosed which is great for young kids). There's loads of grass areas as well, plus a barn with table tennis/ darts etc. There are a lot of fruit trees at the property and we even enjoyed some of these whilst there, though it is possible these attract some extra wasps though this was not a real issue during our stay. The house is 20/25minutes from Bergerac airport, ideal! The location is remote so don't expect to walk in to the local town, and the town itself isn't full of things to see etc. For us, our favourite trips out are Limeuil, Le Bugue, Tremolat and Cadouin for picturesque towns with quaint shops and nice cafes! J'ai adoré ces vacances. J'adore le sport, alors j'ai passé la plupart de mes journées dans la magnifique piscine. Je m'entraînais à nager, puis je flottais en admirant le ciel bleu. J'ai adoré le court de tennis et j'ai passé des heures à travailler mon coup droit. Le château est tellement joli qu'il aurait pu être inventé. N'importe quel enfant adorerait cet endroit.
A very special week to celebrate Dad's 70th, It was wonderful to be with family in your wonderful house. My kids had a wonderful time and spent hours in the pool! Thank you.
We have absolutely loved staying here. It's a stunning place - both inside and out. We enjoyed cooking meals in the excellent kitchen, eating on the terrace and had great times pool-side. This was a memorable holiday for us and our adult children - a very special time together for us all. Thank you both for everything you have done to make this happen. We would so love to come back.
Lots of space for 3 generations of family. Kids loved pool house brilliant and they loved playing in grounds. Playroom kept kids entertained. Lots of toys and videos. Excellent. Gas BBQ was fab. Lovely cooker and dishwasher, tumble dryer made for easy holiday. Takayla and Nick excellent hosts, great welcome and nice to know they are on hand for any problems. Would come back again.
Cottage du Jardin est magnifiquement entretenu et présente un intérieur magnifique. Ce qui nous a vraiment impressionnés, c'est son emplacement paisible au sein du parc des propriétaires et la piscine paisible où l'on peut se prélasser un après-midi ensoleillé. Le cottage se trouve à environ 5 à 10 minutes à pied du village. Vous y trouverez une petite épicerie proposant de tout pour satisfaire vos besoins, ainsi qu'un restaurant proposant de délicieux repas à des prix très raisonnables. À essayer absolument lors de votre séjour. Si vous préférez faire vos courses, deux grands supermarchés sont à 10 minutes en voiture, sur la route de Montignac. Montignac est une jolie ville avec de charmants restaurants au bord de la rivière. Le cottage est idéalement situé pour visiter les sites touristiques locaux, qu'il s'agisse d'un château comme le Château de Losse ou le Château des Milandes avec ses magnifiques jardins, ou de jolies villes et villages, nos préférés étant Saint-Léon, La Roque-Gageac et Domme. Un ciel bleu magnifique tous les jours avec des températures atteignant 36 degrés un jour. Cela nous a donné l'excuse parfaite pour passer quelques jours à nous prélasser au bord de la piscine et à nous ressourcer dans un cadre magnifique. En résumé, grâce au gîte, à la météo et à des hôtes parfaits, nous avons passé une semaine formidable, mais nous sommes repartis un peu tristes. Cependant, nous savons que nous reviendrons, plus longtemps la prochaine fois, car il y a encore beaucoup à voir dans cette belle région de France. Ce furent vraiment nos meilleures vacances. Belle maison au calme, tout est fourni, une semaine très reposante et un temps mitigé, mais pas gênant avec une maison comme ça. Frédéric était très sympathique et serviable. Nous serions ravis de revenir, espérons-le, un jour. Et de si belles roses partout dans la maison ! Merci encore.
