This is the third time at Villa Kali and I can't think of any more superlatives. The villa ticks all the boxes and some. The beaches at Grau Agde and Portiragnes are well worth a visit as well as Valros with all its restaurants.
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour au Mas Saint-Martial. Merci pour votre accueil très agréable et chaleureux. La maison et le parc sont magnifiques et nous avons apprécié la piscine, le badminton, le ping-pong et la pétanque. Nous avons apprécié nous détendre au bord de la piscine dans un environnement calme et paisible. Brantôme est une très jolie ville au bord de la rivière. Aubeterre-sur-Dronne est également un endroit magnifique à visiter, avec sa remarquable église monolithique souterraine. Bergerac vaut le détour pour ses bâtiments à colombages. Un séjour fantastique, merci.
Moments inoubliables au sein du chalet. Nous sommes venus pour un week-end entre amis et chacun de nous est unanime: la qualité du logement, le soin apporté à chaque détails et la gentillesse et la réactivité de notre hôte nous a tous convaincus. Le chalet entièrement rénové par l’hôte est une perle rare et le propriétaire tout autant. Nous nous sommes créer des souvenirs inoubliable et espérons pouvoir revenir dès que possible. Un cadre exceptionnel. En déplacement professionnel pour 3 jours , j'ai découvert un logement très agréable et deux personnes magnifiques , Merci encore a David et kirstie pour leur accueille et le gentillesse . Je ne manquerez pas de recommander cette jolie et agréable maison au temps pour un déplacement professionnelle que pour venir se reposer en famille dans cette maison au cœur familiale pour venir se reposer l'esprit.

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your lovely house. We were lucky enough to see the (almost) full moon rising from the perfect spot in the garden on our first night. We loved the house and pool and most of all the beautiful views. To be in a village and yet so quiet is unique. We very much hope to come back.

Our stay at La Petite Maison Générille was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the heart of Castelnaud-la-Chapelle, this charming haven blends old-world elegance with soul-warming hospitality. The hosts are the heart of this home. Their graciousness, attention to detail, and open-hearted kindness transformed our visit into something unforgettable. One evening, as we enjoyed a glass of wine on the terrace, hot air balloons floateo across the distant sky - the kind of moment that lingers long after you've returned home. The rooms are exquisite-thoughtfully designed, impeccably clean, and filled with the kind of character that photographs simply can't capture. It's the kind of place where time slows down and you're gently reminded of what it means to truly relax. We came to La Petite Maison Générille as travelers... and left with new friends and a piece of this village etched into our hearts. We cannot wait to return!

Nous avions tous hâte de séjourner à La Barde rien que pour son emplacement et de voir les belles photos. La réalité était encore meilleure et tout simplement parfaite pour deux familles de cinq personnes. Il y a une merveilleuse sensation de jardin secret et nous étions entourés du meilleur du début de l'été dans le jardin. La maison a une belle ambiance décontractée et élégante avec une immense cuisine, des chambres spacieuses et un grand salon confortable que nous n'avons jamais eu besoin d'utiliser. La terrasse ombragée à l'extérieur de la cuisine avec des roses et du jasmin et de nombreux endroits où s'asseoir et lézarder étaient au centre des « activités » et de merveilleux emplacements pour chaque repas. Les baignades matinales au parfum de jasmin et de lavande étaient un régal particulier et il y a eu d'innombrables défis de ping-pong, de badminton (et de bronzage). L'emplacement de la Barde est parfait pour profiter de la vie locale, des marchés, du canoë et Périgueux n'est qu'à une heure. Nous avons adoré le bar Lusignac. Vous ne serez pas surpris de lire que nous revenons cette année !

Very atmospheric, beautifully quiet, well equipped villa. Great pool and ideal for a large family stay. Nice market found 9 km to the left, at the bottom of the hill. Great local scenery, walks and bike rides and easy driving! Pool is fantastic and clean. Lower floor really cool when it gets hot! We've all had a great relaxing time!
The house is beautiful - plenty of space for a large group to have both together time and also their own space. Outdoor areas are fantastic and beds super comfy! . Overall highly recommended.

Everything about this stay was perfect! The location (in a small village which boasts a lovely hotel / bar / restaurant, a shop in which you can buy all you need, local wine producers and an organic butchers lorry visiting twice a week) to close proximity to beautiful walking routes and access to nearby towns with great markets, to the house itself which is the epitome of Provence living. Comfortable, thoughtfully restored and furnished and with every amenity you could wish for. The outside areas are great too - a beautiful pool area and several eating / barbecue and relaxation areas to take advantage of the sun or shade as you need. Perfect for large family gatherings as all the rooms are en suit and private except one which has an adjoining room perfect for those with young children although it still has 2 bathrooms! The house and grounds are looked after by a lovely couple who are on hand to help if needed with taxi's advice etc. We will be back!
We had a wonderful week at Manoir Coutenson. The spacious house is very well equipped. The swimming pool is incredibly warm and the children (even the baby) spent hours in it. The shaded area by the pool was essential as the weather was really hot. We loved the area. It is fairly rural but with easy access to the town. The house is very child friendly with toys, high chairs and plastic bowls and plates and lots of pool accessories. All of which were appreciated by our 5 grandchildren. A fabulous, relaxing holiday. A perfect villa with a perfect property manager. We are six retired Americans who travel together often. The property manager is most responsive we have dealt with. If messaged at a reasonable hour she respond in minutes. Now add to that a wonderful modernised property in a wonderful location and you get what we got, a perfect vacation. The property manager arranged a driver and a cook and both were outstanding. The property has stunning views and easy access to rail, within walking distance of fine restaurants and the privacy all renters seek. If you are visiting the south of France and you want to be a short distance from all things and a short train ride to Cannes and Nice, you cannot do better than this property and you will not find a better property manager. If we could give more than 5 stars we would.
Beautifully renovated, well equipped house, ideal for family / friends gathering. Three quite separate sets of 2 double/ twin bedrooms with en-suites and seating areas, so plenty of privacy. Well equipped kitchen (loads of fridge space) and separate bar / fridge/ dishwasher area. Plenty of seating and dining space both inside and out on two terraces. Kids loved the pool and outside space, playing volley ball in the garden. We enjoyed the views and quiet surroundings. My parents enjoyed the local towns and villages; and the cakes! Daily cleaning included by lovely housekeeper/ gardener who live next door. We didn't know they were there except when we needed them. The area is beautiful if you have the energy to travel, Beaune and Dijon are worth a visit and the nearby Couches with a lovely château has a delicious Patisserie / Boulangerie. We took the train from Chagny to Beaune to visit the Hospice and enjoyed a wine tasting. There are lots of vineyards to visit and taste at, we wished we'd organised some tours before we arrived as the owners can advise on this. You will not be disappointed booking this house, we have stayed in many houses in France over the last 30 years and this is undoubtedly the loveliest. We hope to return.

Fantastic house in a lovely town. The property is extensive, nicely modernised and very well maintained. We visited with three children and they had plenty of room. The pool is AMAZING and they jumped in and out of that very happily. The outside terrace on the upper floor is a lovely place to lounge or eat - and the BBQ is a very good feature. In all we had a WONDERFUL time!
