All of us have had a lovely holiday - so relaxing! Much reading, drinking wine, lying in the sun and swimming. Absolutely perfect! We went to Carcasonne which is stunning, but it was unbelievably hot! (and the whining children not the easiest!) Thank you - It's a great house. And we echo all the above sentiments. It has been perfect week of pure relaxation - the owner is absolutely right when he says that there is no very good reason to leave the house - we managed an afternoon in the Montagne Noir - stunning views especially from Saissac. The house is perfect for all of us. A huge thank you to the owners for making it so good.
Ouah! Vous avez un morceau de perfection ici ! J'ai été tellement détendu pendant 2 semaines ici. La piscine a été mon réconfort avec le soleil chaud. L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue est un endroit charmant avec de nombreuses belles boutiques et des marchés fantastiques. Merci de nous avoir permis de séjourner ici. J'espère revenir.
Jolie maison pleine de charme et authentique à Lusignac. La maison est telle que décrite avec d'excellents équipements pour nos vacances d'été. Nous étions 8 adultes avec 2 bébés (2 ans et 18 mois) et la maison nous a tous très bien accueillis.
Remarkable location and situation. Nothing short of the 'wow' factor inside and out. We spent most of the time at the house or in the Médiéval village- too beautiful to venture far! The house and grounds are stunning, great architectural design. Extremeley well equipped. Lots of space for just the 2 of us but planning on coming back again and share with friends. Thanks, fab!
Thank you so much for the most incredible week, we have made so many memories. Everything about the house has been perfect, such an easy space to relax in. Our girls have loved their week and have become real water babies! We return home to the Alps feeling recharged and look forward to another visit. Heavenly spot! Best wishes from all of us.
Un cadre parfait où se détendre et passer notre semaine de vacances. Nous avons apprécié la maison spacieuse, le jardin et la piscine ainsi que le merveilleux temps chaud ! Les villages pittoresques à proximité ont vraiment été une expérience spectaculaire. Nous avons passé une très belle semaine à la villa. Nous aurions aimé rester plus longtemps mais nos vacances sont maintenant terminées et nous repartons dans le Nord.
Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour aux Granels, merci, et recommanderions la maison à tout le monde, en particulier aux familles avec enfants. Un merci spécialement à Karri pour ses conseils utiles et son excellent nettoyage.
A great location, house and fabulous pool. we had a brilliant time, quality family fun and laughter.
At Les Oliviers du Sud we felt like God in France as usual. From the sunny terrace, with a glass of wine in hand, a cheese nearby, we enjoyed the vines in the valley below us in ‘deafening’ silence, watched the olives come out of the blossom and listened to the cheerful twittering of the birds. The flat of the ever friendly and helpful hosts Esther and Leonard is furnished with taste. A touch of nostalgia with the look of today. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom is comfortable. Everything not only looks new, but is new. From the first moment, we felt at home here. The nearby forests invite you to go for a nice walk. By the way, you can walk everywhere in the area. Tip: the route along the medieval village of La Roque-sur-Ceze with the waterfalls nearby. In the village of Tresques, near Domaine Cadignac, we imagined ourselves in the France of old. A medieval tower with an exhibition of contemporary art, a bakery and grocery shop, a water spring where the villagers tap their daily drinking water and a good winemaker. Where do you still find these villages? The residence is conveniently located for visiting larger cities. Half an hour’s drive and you are in Orange with memories of the Dutch royal house or in the papal city of Avignon, where you can browse in one of those real French bric-a-brac markets in a suburb every Saturday morning. Or you can walk around Nîmes Collesseum after an hour’s drive and have visited the impressive aqueduct built by Romans on the way there. The ancient city centre of Nîmes and of historic Avignon are also an eldorado for funshoppers. In short, the fully equipped and rustic L'Oliveraie was an ideal base for us to (re)discover French nature and culture. We will definitely come back here again!

Ma famille a passé 3 semaines fantastiques à La Barde, une ferme magnifiquement rénovée. Tellement fantastique, en fait, que nous avons confirmé une nouvelle réservation pour l'année suivante avant de partir. Nous avons trouvé la propriété extrêmement spacieuse, rénovée et décorée avec goût et dotée de tout ce dont nous avions besoin pour le quotidienne de la famille. La piscine sécurisée est parfaite pour les enfants et nous avions tous hâte de nous y rafraîchir chaque après-midi après avoir exploré les différents marchés locaux et d'autres merveilleuses excursions. La piscine est en fait assez grande, ce qui signifie que les membres les plus enthousiastes de notre groupe pouvaient faire de l'exercice correctement et nager pendant que le reste d'entre nous se détendait et buvait des vins locaux. La partie peu profonde est idéale pour que les jeunes enfants puissent jouer ou pratiquer la natation et il y a une pataugeoire légèrement séparée qui est parfaite pour les bébés et les tout-petits. Il y a une grange avec un grand barbecue que nous avons utilisé la plupart des soirs, une table de ping-pong et de nombreux jeux de pelouse. La cour, la pelouse et les jardins sont évidemment entretenus avec amour et tout simplement magnifiques. La Barde est le cadre idéal pour que les enfants jouent et que la famille et les amis se détendent, discutent, mangent et boivent. Helen et John nous ont réservé un accueil chaleureux et étaient heureux de nous aider pour toutes les informations dont nous avions besoin. Ils ont gentiment partagé avec nous de délicieux fruits de leur jardin, que nous avons beaucoup aimé cuisiner et manger. Nous pensons que c'est l'endroit idéal pour les groupes d'amis ou les familles qui souhaitent passer des vacances ensemble et célébrer des occasions spéciales (ce serait un endroit formidable où organiser un mariage ou passer Noël) car la taille et la disposition de la maison et du terrain signifient qu'il y a beaucoup d'espace pour que plus d'une famille soit rassemblée mais suffisamment d'espace pour garder de l'intimité. L'emplacement est idéal pour découvrir la Dordogne. Nous vous recommandons fortement de réserver cette propriété à toute période de l'année. Nous n'en revenons pas de notre chance et avons hâte d'y retourner cet été !
Superbe maison pour des couples d'amis ou familles avec enfants. Chacune des chambres a sa salle de bain et WC, il y a des jeux de sociétés, des vélos... et elle est au calme.
We stayed in the Maison des Artistes for 2 weeks at the end of June and had a fantastic holiday. There were 5 adults and 2 kids in our party and the house had plenty of room for everyone’s differing needs. The photos of the listing are absolutely spot on in terms of accuracy! The outside space really is big. It had plenty of chairs/loungers/covered day beds. Fantastic outside table for al fresco eating. The pool was beautiful. We had a couple of minor issues with the pool during our stay due to a couple of severe storms in the area but Colin and Mel were very prompt at dealing with these. The gas BBQ was spotlessly clean when we arrived, which you often find to not be the case. Internally there is air conditioning in each room. The whole house has electric shutters which are great for blackout blinds to get some good sleep and also keep the house cooler. Beds very comfortable, nice linen wear on all beds. Towels were all brand new. Generous and lovely welcome basket was there for us on arrival. Colin and Mel met us on arrival at the property and gave us a very quick run down and left us to it. They were a pleasure to deal with throughout our stay when we did have any queries or minor issues. Kitchen was very well equipped for large parties, loads of plates, utensils, cookware etc. Good supply of kitchen basics. Lovely toiletries in bathrooms. Very quiet peaceful location. In summary one of the best properties we have ever stayed in over many years of holidaying abroad
We have returned! Even more enjoyable this year, weather and pool fantastic. The villa is close to perfect.
Un havre de paix idyllique dans la campagne gersoise. La chambre était d'un confort exceptionnel et offrait une vue imprenable sur les vignes. Notre hôte, David, nous a préparé un repas exceptionnel le soir de notre arrivée, ainsi qu'un petit-déjeuner français composé de fruits, de yaourts, de pain, de croissants, de fromage et de délicieuses confitures chaque matin. Il a également été d'une grande aide pour nous conseiller sur la région, les choses à voir et les restaurants. Une chambre d'hôte chaleureuse et accueillante. À recommander sans hésiter.
I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Rusty Shears with friends. The hosts Kirstie and Russell have thought of everything and are on hand if you need anything at all. Beautiful decor, spacious living area and bedrooms. Comfortable beds and powerful showers. The patio and outdoor area is also lovely with great views across surrounding land. The gite is in a lovely peaceful location, but close to historic towns if you like to explore. We also went on a fantastic local wine tasting experience recommended by Russell.

Perfect for a relaxing holiday. First impressions were better than the photographs. We wanted a relaxing family holiday after a very hectic year and that is what we experienced. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful but left you completely alone unless you needed something. The villa itself is spotless, beautifully laid out and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Outside is incredibly peaceful and we spend the majority of our time by the pool.. Yet although it feels beautifully isolated it is in fact only minutes from shops and lotes of things to see and dol Will definitely return if we are able.
J'ai adoré ces vacances. J'adore le sport, alors j'ai passé la plupart de mes journées dans la magnifique piscine. Je m'entraînais à nager, puis je flottais en admirant le ciel bleu. J'ai adoré le court de tennis et j'ai passé des heures à travailler mon coup droit. Le château est tellement joli qu'il aurait pu être inventé. N'importe quel enfant adorerait cet endroit.
What a fantastic stay in a fantastic house, all the amenities you could wish for and more. We’ve enjoyed the pool, table tennis tournaments, playing pool and lounging under the fig trees. The market in Nyons on a Thursday was amazing, we visited St Paul trois châteaux, Seguret and many other places. The house exceeded our expectations and the Drome, Provence is beautiful , we will be back and thank you for creating such a haven for everyone to experience and enjoy.

Steven and Bruce have a fantastic place and they really went the extra mile to make our stay totally enjoyable. We've been staying at places in France for 20 or so years and we always come back fairly pleased, but perhaps with one or two thoughts about how something or other could have been better, but I think this is the first time we've come back and been unable to think of anything that was less than perfect.

Un soleil radieux pour nous toute la semaine. Nous avons passé un agréable moment à explorer. Les enfants se sont fait passer pour Raiponce à la Maison Baleyssagues et ont passé une merveilleuse journée au Lac de Lougratte. J'ai fait du jogging dans les vignes et aux abords, ce qui était étonnamment épuisant. Nous avons peut-être tous mangé trop de croissants ? Merci pour cette semaine formidable dans un cadre magnifique.
Un beau site. Nous avons adoré la vue et la nouvelle piscine. C'est tellement merveilleux d'avoir une belle piscine pour y nager tôt le matin ! Nos garçons ont aussi adoré le terrain privé. Nous avons apprécié les marchés nocturnes, les châteaux et les activités aux alentours.
Une belle maison et un jardin qui nous ont permis de passer un moment très relaxant dans ce magnifique environnement. Merci pour les recommandations pour le déjeuner et le dîner dans les divers restaurants - excellents. Un séjour des plus mémorable dans la Loire, l'une de nos meilleures destinations au monde! Nous avons séjourné fin juin pour fêter les 50 ans de ma femme avec ma famille et mes amis (nous étions 16). Le cadre est magnifique et donne sur une vallée particulièrement agréable le soir en se relaxant sur la terrasse avec un ou deux verres de vin. Nous avons passé des vacances fabuleuses. Il y en a pour tous les goûts au château, beaucoup d'activités dans la salle de sport pour occuper tout le monde mais ce que nous avons particulièrement apprécié, c'est la piscine vintage et le parcours de golf qui était difficile mais très amusant. Notre semaine a passé beaucoup trop vite et nous chercherons certainement à y retourner. Merci aux propriétaires Nicky et Richard de nous avoir si bien accueillis et d'avoir fait de l'anniversaire de ma femme une occasion si spéciale.
