Nous avons séjourné en famille dans cette très jolie maison de caractère, pleine de charme et de luxe. Située dans une grande propriété calme, vaste et bien entretenue, la maison offre de belles surfaces et de nombreuses chambres, idéales pour une grande famille. La grande piscine est parfaite pour toute la famille. L’accueil est très sympathique et nous avons passé une très belle semaine en famille dans cette belle propriété. Je reviendrai avec plaisir.
Fabulous views, kayaking, la grand ascent de Ventoux. Everything a very relaxing fortnight in Provence should be. Sadly the real world beckons. Thank you.
Une maison exceptionnelle dans un cadre exceptionnel. Nous avons pu vivre tout le long d'une semaine dans cette demeure de plusieurs façon différentes, en famille, en couple entre amis et cette maison est faite pour vivre ! Prenez le temps de profiter de la superbe cuisine, un équipement au niveau professionnel, avec et sans traiteur vous apprécierez ce coeur de maison. Un grand terrain qui se partage au tour de la maison pour différentes activités, un superbe salon de jardin vue sur la Rhune, un coin chaleureux autour d'une table ronde et son court de tennis pas bien loin. Le terrain s'étend à offrir une petite balade, de quoi digérer après le grand banquet dans la maison de réception où grand canapé, rétro projecteur et bar vous y attendent ! Un calme parfait et une literie très agréable, de quoi passer un séjour d'exception où repos et plaisir sont les maitres mots de notre expérience.

L'hôte était super. Elle a fait de son mieux pour que nous nous sentions chez nous. Le secteur est pittoresque et idéal pour explorer cette région viticole.
The hosts have thought of every comfort. A fantastic base from which to explore this part of France. It was difficult to draw yourself away from the beautiful garden and pool. We stayed with them many times when they managed to create yet another little haven at their new base in France!
Un merveilleux séjour et j'ai beaucoup apprécié la maison. Toutes les chambres sont en suite et trois d'entre elles offrent une vue imprenable sur les montagnes des Corbières et des Pyrénées. Il y a une piscine très bien entretenue, un joli jardin et un coin salon extérieur. Merci !
The house is lovely, with a very calm and welcoming atmosphere - more than met our expectations. We took you at your word in regard to helping ourselves to some tomatoes and grapes from the garden - The grapes in particular were delicious - Small things, but they add to the overall enjoyment of the stay.
A lovely five weeks with nice warm weather. We had several guests from family and friends and everyone was very impressed by the house and garden and the extra advantage of having everything (shops, attractions) nearby. Lovely house and garden and pool.

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your fantastic home! After a warm welcome we managed to settle down to enjoy all the facilities and the actual location of this beautiful area. Thank you! We have spent a glorious week at The Loft, which feels like a home away from home. You have been fabulous hosts, and your suggestions of places to visit and vineyards to try have been spot on. After ‘confinement’ in Paris for many months, the pool was a joy. We love the garden and it’s shady spots and enjoyed Mack and Mabel’s company. We can see why people return to this wonderful place, and we hope to be one of them very soon. Thank you again for such a lovely stay.

We had a lovely stay. so tranquil, with a view of the Dordogne river. Lovely enclosed courtyard garden, ideal for al fresco dining and BBQ. We enjoyed sitting by the pool watching the birds in the trees and popping in and out of holes in the wall. Not too far from some of the hot spots such as Sarlat, Domme and La Roque-Gageac, so we could enjoy a day out but still manage to get back to the peace and quiet of Maison Bourg Calès to relax.
Nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans votre magnifique maison de vacances. Nous avons adoré le mobilier et la décoration, notamment les cartes ! Le côté des collines est tout simplement génial ! Un séjour très agréable à La Roujal, une belle maison bien aménagée avec de nombreux endroits intéressants à visiter à proximité. Sarlat était impressionnant et Saint-Cirq-Lapopie était magnifique, tout comme les nombreuses autres vieilles villes médiévales à proximité. Nous avons apprécié le marché local et avons pensé que celui de Prayssac (le vendredi) était le meilleur. Doug et Nic ont été très utiles tout au long de notre séjour et nous leur sommes reconnaissants pour leurs recommandations et conseils. Merci.
Lovely place to stay, enjoyed being able to walk to the cafes and shops. Highlights; cycling to Chinon own hire bikes. Lovely walk through vineyards to the soap museum/shop. We had some extremely hot days (37 degrees) so went to Lac du Grezillé. Loved Saumur and Chinon, highly recommend Château Bréze.
We have used Pure France and other similar companies over many years, but I do not believe I have heard how highly rated they thought this particular property was - ever! As a result of the standard of accommodation, gardens and the local surrounding area, we are already trying to see if there is anything which can beat it for next year, especially for standards of finish and value for money (if you can recommend anything similar, please let us know)? I work in the construction industry as a design manager and can see someone has spent a lot of time and effort in getting the best out of this large old building, bringing it up to a high standard with well considered interior design - obviously the owner has considered in a lot of detail. Please pass on our thanks for being able to use the property.
We had a lovely two weeks in this beautiful old French farmhouse with its heavenly views and surrounded in wonderful countryside. We have spent most of our time in the garden, playing bolles, swimming, water ball, table tennis and using the pool table, enjoying leisurely meals on the terrace with great views. Trips out to Vaison la Romain, daily trips to the boulangie, wonderful walks, some brilliant bike rides for children and adults alike. We have seen some wonderful wildlife around the area, geckos, cicadas etc. We are sad to leave but hope to return one day.
A wonderful location with stunning views and beautiful sunsets, Mas Saint Cernin was the perfect venue for a relaxing family holiday. The Grange itself was great in every aspect: from the space, cleanliness and tastefully decorated rooms, through to the general facilities and the exceptional warm hospitality from owners John and Lesley. The large and well appointed swimming pool where the five children in our group spent many hours splashing as children should on their summer holidays was used by us every day. There were pool toys plus plenty of sun loungers for all the group to relax on and soak up the rays within the secluded private garden. Mas Saint Cernin was a home-from-home in a beautiful part of France and we could quite happily have taken up residence; it was with regret that we had to wave farewell at the end of two glorious weeks.
Le Château de La Loire est un emplacement idéal pour découvrir la vallée de la Loire. Il se trouve à proximité de lieux tels que Saumur, de nombreux beaux châteaux, de domaines de dégustation de vins, de fermes de champignons et d'autres points forts de cette région. Les hôtes ont été formidables et le site a tout ce dont vous avez besoin avec piscine, cours de yoga, services de massages, excellent petit déjeuner, parc calme et expositions d'art... nous reviendrons !
Thank you for a very relaxing holiday in your fabulous house. We will long remember our lazy days by the pool. The house had everything we needed - a real home from home, with bags of French character.
Idyllic place. Very peaceful break had by all. Garlin is a lovely village. Great bakery for fresh bread and the essential Ecomarket. All in all, great location - awesome house that's been fitted out to a very high standard throughout and a wonderful, unspoilt part of France that we'd never been to before.
Fantastic time in this great house and location. 2 weeks of rest, relaxation and fun with the kids and extended family. Thank you. What a wonderful place! So much for the kids to do - swimngs, slide, trampoline, swimming and may runing races, lots of yumy wines and cheese. Two scrumptious meals cooked by Tim and Ali. Very tempted to return next year! We utterly love everything about this beautiful house and its tranquil setting. We hope to return someday and will keep fond and happy memories of our stay.
Private pool in perfect surroundings. Maison Meunier is a great little find. I stayed in the larger house last year so was excited to return to the area. Inside there are 2 good sized bedrooms, clean bathroom and kitchen with full facilities and a stylish and spacious living and dining area. And then there is the outside...! There is a beautiful pergola covered terrace with BBQ which is perfect for al fresco dining and evening chats over a bottle of wine (from the local vineyard of course). The pool has stunning views over fruit trees, the fishing lake and forest covered hills in the background. It feels very private and isn't overlooked. The pool is immaculate and perfect size for playing / floating / chilling. The pool area also has sun loungers and a covered portion for the shade seekers. The area of Saint Front-Sur-Lemance is beautiful. Very sleepy and laid back but has all the best necessary amenities within a 5 minute walk (shop, cafe, Albert's pub) or 10 - 15 minute drive (Blanquefort-sur-Briolance for moules frites at Auberge des Moulins or Fumel for bigger shops and 25m outdoor pool). The owners are great hosts; not intrusive but always nearby to provide advice or help if needed. We can't wait to return next year.
We came here to celebrate a couple of family birthdays and get some time together. From the moment we walked in the door we quickly came to realise what an amazing place this is. The view from the kitchen window (bu the sink) literally brought my sister to tears. ... in a very positive way. This week has allowed us to explore the area to some degree, but with so much on offer around and in the property, there was little incentive to go anywhere. The difficulty now will be to keep this gem of a property a secret from others, as we will undoubtedly tell everyone about this fantastic place. Thank you for so generously sharing your house. Quelle magnifique maison. De superbes vues, un véritable second chez-soi, nous ne voulons pas le quitter (c'est pourquoi nous sommes encore là!). Nous avons pu explorer, nager toute la journée dans la piscine, boire de nombreuses bouteilles de rosé et fait du canoë. Merci beaucoup.
One week was not long enough. Fabulous house - didn't want to leave. Visit Pézenas, just wonderful and great shopping.
