A challenging end of year led to my very last minute search for somewhere special to stay for Christmas. We jumped for joy when your Loft showed as available for 8 days arriving on Christmas Eve. Throughout the five hour drive from Cannes, I stressed about finding a tree and decorations to make the holiday perfect. To my utter AMAZEMENT, the Loft had been fully decorated beyond my wildest dreams. Thank you so much for all your very thoughtful and generous touches. As a seriously experienced traveller, I can assure you that exceptionally few hosts go to the same lengths as yourselves. You made our Christmas very SPECIAL and, dare I say, UNFORGETTABLE! Thank you so much - keep on keepin’ on! Christmas 2022.

We came here to celebrate a couple of family birthdays and get some time together. From the moment we walked in the door we quickly came to realise what an amazing place this is. The view from the kitchen window (bu the sink) literally brought my sister to tears. ... in a very positive way. This week has allowed us to explore the area to some degree, but with so much on offer around and in the property, there was little incentive to go anywhere. The difficulty now will be to keep this gem of a property a secret from others, as we will undoubtedly tell everyone about this fantastic place. Thank you for so generously sharing your house. We are a family of two adults and three teens and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Le Somail! The house was very well equipped with everything we needed and there was plenty of space inside and out. The pool area is very sheltered and private - having the pool to cool us down on the hottest of days was certainly appreciated! We enjoyed being so close to the canal and seeing the boats sailing past, it’s a beautiful location. There is a good selection of places to eat and drink within a few minutes walk of the house, yet the house was very peaceful and we were never disturbed by any noise from the restaurant next door. There were plenty of activities within an easy driving distance to keep us all amused for the duration of our stay including lakes, beaches and shopping. We hope we can return again, thank you for a wonderful holiday.
We have loved our stay here! Fantastic weather, relaxing days and memorable meals by the pool! Our boys enjoyed swimming in the beautiful pool! After 8 weeks away it was great to have space - we would love to visit again someday!
J'avais de très bonnes attentes pour ce logement, sur la base des photos et des descriptions. Mais le château a été encore plus incroyable que ce que nous avons osé imaginer. Nous étions quatre familles, 15 au total, lors d'un voyage de remise des diplômes à travers l'Europe. C'est le seul endroit où nous pourrions tous être ensemble, et nos journées là-bas ont été le point culminant de notre voyage. Cet endroit est PARFAIT pour les grands rassemblements. Tellement de place, tellement d'endroits où nous pourrions tous être ensemble. Cuisine incroyable. La piscine était géniale. Je ne saurais trop dire à quel point c'était parfait pour notre groupe.
Merci pour ce merveilleux séjour dans votre belle maison ! Vous avez été des hôtes parfaits, nous ne manquions de rien. Nous serions ravis de revenir x Nous avons passé une semaine incroyable ici à la Maison La Pérouse. Oscar et Olive ont tous deux adoré explorer le jardin. Oscar a particulièrement aimé jouer à cache-cache dans les bois, faire des tours sur le trampoline et repérer les poissons dans l'étang. La piscine a été fantastique et nous avons adoré les nuits ensoleillées le soir dans le jardin. Merci Sue, Pat et Amber pour votre merveilleuse hospitalité et vos recommandations. Merci pour ce séjour agréable.
Un hébergement vraiment charmant, avec de beaux détails et de magnifiques sols bien préservés. Une terrasse parfaite dotée d'une petite piscine. Tout le monde était ravi, adultes comme enfants. À recommander vivement.
Que dire ? Nous avons vraiment passé une semaine merveilleuse dans la magnifique Maison Camirout. Un grand merci à Madeline et Alan ! Vous êtes des hôtes fabuleux. La région est magnifique et votre maison et votre piscine sont tout simplement exceptionnelles !
Une maison de village idéale pour de superbes vacances. Une très belle maison, comme sur les photos et très accueillante. Design raffiné. Piscine chauffée, rien à redire. Maison propre et pratique. Le propriétaire est disponible et disposé à aider. Si je reviens dans la région, je reviendrai à cette maison si elle est disponible.
All of us have had a lovely holiday - so relaxing! Much reading, drinking wine, lying in the sun and swimming. Absolutely perfect! We went to Carcasonne which is stunning, but it was unbelievably hot! (and the whining children not the easiest!) Thank you - It's a great house. And we echo all the above sentiments. It has been perfect week of pure relaxation - the owner is absolutely right when he says that there is no very good reason to leave the house - we managed an afternoon in the Montagne Noir - stunning views especially from Saissac. The house is perfect for all of us. A huge thank you to the owners for making it so good.

Can't believe we have to leave our new home in Najac. The château is magnificent—striking and enormous, yet cozy and welcoming; an easy walk to the lovely village, yet splendidly private and quiet on its own hill. Amazing views, spotlessly clean, superbly equipped and with the best pool we've ever had! The only thing that matches the château and setting is the warm, attentive and super-knowledgeable welcome and help from Henrietta and her team. They helped us to make the most of our stay. Those extra-mile touches made all the difference and we really appreciated them. We loved getting to know this part of France, which seems to combine so many of the wonderful things from the more 'discovered' regions, adding a twist or 2, delivered with a smile.
Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour à Richelieu. La maison est extrêmement élégante et avait tout le nécessaire. La piscine et les espaces de divertissement à l'extérieur étaient excellents. C'était une maison fantastique.
Le Château de la Ronde était fantastique, la famille a beaucoup apprécié le séjour.
What a stunning location. We have had a wonderful week and extremely sad to be leaving this idyllic spot. The house is incredibly well appointed and kitted out with everything we could possibly have needed. We spent the week relaxing and fitting in the odd wine tasting, horse ridding lessons for our two girls and visiting the brilliant goat farm! Thank you so much for the incredible stay!

A lovely 2nd week of our 2025 French trip here in The Piglet Barn. More relaxing than planned due to lovely high temperatures ! But where better to chill out than in the garden and pool. Saturday music evening and pizza man were great fun. And our hosts... well, thank you Annie and John for the warm welcome and excellent hospitality.
I had a great stay at Le Mas de Combet with a group of 9 adults and 2 infants as we were attending a wedding nearby at Chateau de St Paul (c. 10 - 15 minutes drive) The house was clean, well equipped and very peaceful and private. The villa is remote so a car is definitely required but it's a beautiful setting with wonderful views of the countryside and the pool was well used during our stay! We had a couple of days of rain but the house is so comfortable and has plenty of space for indoor and outdoor entertaining. One small note was that there is no soap, shower gel or shampoo provided as described on the listing but that was a very minor inconvenience which was easily resolved. Dermod, our contact was extremely helpful and responsive and even personally arranged a lift for one of our party back from the wedding venue (thanks to Patricia!). Thanks for a great stay - we would definitely recommend!
Magnifique maison au milieu des champs, décorée avec goût. Cuisine extérieure toute équipée. Rien ne manque. Nous avons apprécié la piscine et les transats ainsi que les environs (cité médiévale de Chauvigny, Futuroscope).

L'endroit idéal pour se retrouver en famille ou entre amis. Le reste du groupe l'a parfaitement résumé plus tôt. Nous sommes incroyablement reconnaissants d'avoir eu l'occasion de venir et nous sourions encore en repensant à Freddie.
Un endroit luxueux avec la plus belle piscine chauffée et une vue sur la Méditerranée. La piscine et sa vue constituent l'essentiel de la propriété. Elle est absolument impeccable, parfaitement chauffée à 30 degrés et bénéficie d'une piscine à débordement qui ajoute à l'ambiance luxueuse. Il y a un plongeoir et un toboggan aquatique amusant, ainsi que des chaises longues en mousse. La terrasse est également magnifique avec de nombreux transats et sièges, ainsi qu'une table pour les repas. L'intérieur de la propriété est spacieux avec des antiquités intéressantes et les chambres sont climatisées, ce qui est charmant même s'il y a de toute façon beaucoup d'ombre pendant les journées chaudes. La voiture peut être garée juste à côté de la villa pour faciliter le transport des bagages et les courses au supermarché, etc. Dans l'ensemble, Les Fumerates ressemble à un coin de paradis, paisible et calme, et il est difficile de s'en arracher malgré la proximité facile de la côte. La piscine est l'attraction vedette, toujours agréable d'y nager même en fin de soirée, et possède un toboggan, un plongeoir et des chaises longues flottantes si vous le souhaitez. La terrasse et la piscine sont éclairées la nuit et l'atmosphère calme et luxueuse font qu'il est presque impossible d'en sortir malgré la proximité de quelques beaux endroits à visiter !
Thanks for an amazing holiday – just the break that we needed. A lovely property with everything you could need. Make sure you visit the market at L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue on Sunday morning – the best market by far, but be prepared for the crowds! If you are feeling adventurous, kayaking on the Dordogne was fab, if a long way (1.5 hours). Book through Get Your Guide – very easy. Hope to see Florence again.
