Two weeks of idyllic bliss in the rolling French countryside with superb weather to atch. As a family young and old, we enjoyed the stunning house, garden, pool and views. To agree with the previous guests, Laparade is the place to be on a Tuesday evening. Days spent at Biscarosse beach and lakeside both worth the journey. Would also highly recommend in house beauty treatments. We had massages and facials. Fantastic. Just ask Olivia.

Excellent home and facilities. Everything exceeded our expectations. Lovely space. Catering: deicious - it was so lovely to arrive to hot food after a long journey and to not have to worry about shopping for the first few days. Friendly and approachable service. Propriété de première choix - accueil très chaleureux par la propriétaire Mme W. Montlaur - charmant village de Lagrasse - un village à voir absolument. Carcassonne - Cité très bien conservée. Nous reviendrons. La maison a tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin et plus encore. Déjà dans l'attente de notre visite de retour.
Nous avons passé la meilleure semaine ici dans cette belle maison, un endroit parfait, la maison avait tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Nous n'avions pas de voiture mais tout était accessible à pied. Nous avons passé chaque soirée à boire un verre au « Pub » en centre-ville, offrant de très bons cocktails. Le restaurant Chez le Gaulois a servi le meilleur plateau de fromages et de charcuteries, je ne pourrais pas les recommander davantage. NOUS ADORONS CET ENDROIT et nous reviendrons certainement l'année prochaine. Merci Jackie et Geoff pour ce beau séjour.
I just want to say what a wonderful week we spent at Maison Tilleul. From the moment we arrived (and a mere 20 minutes from Carcassonne airport, how fabulous!) we just fell into the house which had everything we needed for a super relaxed holiday with the children and my father. Having good internet for the children (when we allowed them!) was great and a wonderful pool close to the house so everyone was together made a huge difference. Loved that we could pop to Limoux for a ‘pression’ in the evening and Carcassonne is amazing to visit, for shopping and sightseeing. And we were lucky enough to be there during the festival and saw Rag’n’Bone Man! Will definitely come back, it was so easy to get to and the house has everything we need and more.
Perfect! Our stay in the L’Ancienne Etable was 5 star. Jane and Richard have thought of everything to make this the perfect pad for two. Peaceful and relaxing, we would highly recommend and hope to return again soon.
Thank you for a wonderful stay! The house and views are gorgeous. We loved visiting Saint-Clar, Condom and off course Lectoure, which has everything you could wish for including the fantastic spa. What a relaxing treat!

Ma famille y a passé un séjour formidable. Nous avons 2 jeunes enfants (âgés de 1 et 5 ans) et l'appartement était propre, sécurisé, avec des appareils modernes (y compris un lave-linge/sèche-linge), une vue sur l'océan et une belle piscine à débordement sur le toit. Les chambres ont un bon volume, faciles à utiliser, avec contrôle de la température, climatisation et stores occultants. Un lit bébé et une chaise haute étaient disponibles dans l'appartement. Il y a un grand supermarché/magasin de l'autre côté de la rue et l'appartement donne directement sur la promenade de la plage, donc il est facile de se rendre à pied à la marina et aux restaurants de plage. J'espère que nous pourrons revenir bientôt.
My family and I enjoyed a very relaxing week at this beautiful and luxurious house. We thoroughly enjoyed the gorgeous swimming pool every day. Our children, aged 3 and 5, also had a lot of fun running around on the large grounds around the property. Debbie and Rupert are wonderful hosts, suggested lovely places to go and activities we might enjoy and we couldn’t have asked them for anything more. Our favourite places in the surroundings included Belaye for stunning panoramic views, the market in Cahors, Château Eugénie for a lovely wine tasting, Capnature for some fun activities such as Accro-branches (the equivalent of Go Ape), and boating on le Lot river… We loved our stay and hope to come back soon!
Très belle maison propre et bien équipé. Nous avons passé une superbe semaine (4 adultes et 5 enfants). Magifique piscine, une grande salle de jeux très agréable. Nous recommandons cette maison sans hésiter.
We've had a wonderful week, lounging by the pool, playing table tennis and pool. All great for teenagers. Vinsobres so lovely and only minutes away. Good trips out to Vaison-la-Romaine and Nyons. Thanks for a great week!

Thanks for a great stay and making us feel so welcome - you were fantastic hosts. The accommodation was spotless and provided for every requirement. We really enjoyed the spaciousness of the Loft and the wonderful gardens, and of course the pool! Hopefully we will see you again in the future!
What can I say but awesome. We all arrived at the same time to drive up the long drive to the picturesque château. Obviously we had seen pictures but they did not do it justice. We were met with a glass of bubbly and were shown around the property. It was like being shown around a personal home rather than a holiday rental property. There was everything you could want for a relaxing holiday for our two families, including a tennis court, swimming pool, snooker / pool table, croquet set and the all important ice machine as we were in the middle of a heat wave. All the rooms were luxurious with all but one bedroom (which had it's own bathroom) having ensuite bathrooms and the two main bedrooms having dressing rooms as well. The grounds were spectacular and there was even gorgeous little chapel. The best endorsement I can give is that we were all discussing how we could come back next year. Superbe villa dans un parfait endroit isolé ! Parfait pour les grandes familles ou les groupes d'amis. La maison est équipée de tout le nécessaire pour une escapade parfaite. De grands espaces ouverts pour se retrouver et jouer avec les enfants. La vue depuis la terrasse et la piscine est tout simplement magnifique ! Service et aide sur place super attentionnés.

It’s hard to know where to begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. Your property is so well set up and we made good use of the barbecue, tennis court, boules, darts, table tennis and of course, the pool which beats all other swimming pools we’ve ever had on holiday... and the shady areas when the sun got just that bit too hot. So much thought has obviously gone into it all and it made our holiday very special. The four teenage grandchildren we had with us had a ball and we all loved the Lot countryside, its villages and the sunflowers. How can you not be happy when you’ve got fields of them within a few steps from your door? The two Marches Gourmands we went to at Tournon and Saux were brilliant fun - the food on offer at Saux was particularly good and Tournon is such a pretty place. Our daughter loved going for early morning runs, seeing a hare and on two occasions, a deer, amongst sunflowers. Swimming in the Lot, cycling and canoeing are all on our list of favourite things we did. We also have a great picture of three of the red squirrels on the tree near the bolet - what a brilliant place for breakfast. Thank you so very much from all of us. Thanks Kate and Franz for creating such a peaceful and beautiful place to stay. Enjoying tea and coffee on our last morning we were joined by 2 deer - a lovely last moment. We are going to miss the house, the swimming pool and the beautiful meadow. Our highlights are Montcuq market, spending time in Lauzerte and Montpazier, two very pretty places. We have had some great food, especially at Le Caillau. It has been a special summer for our children, who have both had to endure exams and so it is fantastic that we as a family have been able to spend time together in this wonderful place. So pleased to have met you both and of course the little Lotte. Love from us all.
Merci de nous avoir ouvert votre extraordinaire demeure à notre grande famille. Nos vacances au Château Périgord ont dépassé toutes nos attentes. La beauté de la région et de votre maison sont de parfaits compliments. Nous avons aimé faire nos courses sur les marchés locaux et cuisiner ensemble dans la cuisine accueillante. Nous avons adoré notre temps passé dans la piscine et à jouer au badminton, ainsi que le temps à simplement profiter de ce cadre agréable et de ces vues. Nous avons exploré des grottes préhistoriques et des villages médiévaux, nous avons dégusté des vins de la région, visité des châteaux célèbres, descendu la rivière Dordogne en canoë et avons toujours terminé la journée impatients de revenir et de profiter du Château Périgord.
A beautiful romantic setting carefully renovated by the owner to give a wonderful Provençal experience. The closeness to Gordes and all the other hill top villages nearby made this a dream vacation for myself and my family.
I spent a week at this villa in September with my young family. It was perfect. Villa: The property itself is beautiful. It enjoys a large plot and is nicely secluded. The property is very well maintained. The bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen etc. look as they have recently been refurbished. The pool area / gardens are stunning and very well secluded. There is a pool-house equipped with a brick barbecue, kitchen / dining area and shower / toilet. We spent most of our time in this area. Location: The drive from Nice airport is about 45 minutes - it's quite a straightforward journey, mostly on the motorway. I believe Marseille airport is a similar distance away. The property sits in a very nice, secluded area close to many vineyards. The town square (Vidauban) is about 5 minutes' drive from the property. There you will find everything you need from supermarkets through to restaurants and bars. St Tropez, Cannes and Monaco are all under 1 hour away by car Overall, I would highly recommend this villa. I have stayed at other villas in France, which have felt quite dated. This property has been very well maintained and modernised, but still has that French charm about it. We will definitely be returning to this property
We just wanted to drop you a quick message to say how much we enjoyed your lovely house in France. Les Roches was a wonderful place to spend a few days relaxing, seeing something of the Southern Loire, and trying new wines. The pool, tennis courts, and gym were a big hit with the kids especially. Isabella, thank you for the personal tour of the winery, it was good to learn more about how you create your organic/low sulphite wines and the great knowledge shared while tasting a few, along with the ones we thoroughly tested during our stay The Femme Tour riding by the gates was a one off and such an amazing and friendly experience. We toasted with sparkling wine (Ampelidae of course) on the barrels set at the end of the drive as they rode past. Please say thank you to the so helpful Beada once again for her support and patience with our varied amounts of French. The ladies in the village bakery were also wonderfully cheerful each morning as we negotiated the language of French bread types. In all our joint family holidays this one got the highest score. As we watched the red sunset from the terrace on Friday, no one wanted to go home. Wishing you a good harvest in 2025 and all the best.
