It’s hard to know where to begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. Your property is so well set up and we made good use of the barbecue, tennis court, boules, darts, table tennis and of course, the pool which beats all other swimming pools we’ve ever had on holiday... and the shady areas when the sun got just that bit too hot. So much thought has obviously gone into it all and it made our holiday very special. The four teenage grandchildren we had with us had a ball and we all loved the Lot countryside, its villages and the sunflowers. How can you not be happy when you’ve got fields of them within a few steps from your door? The two Marches Gourmands we went to at Tournon and Saux were brilliant fun - the food on offer at Saux was particularly good and Tournon is such a pretty place. Our daughter loved going for early morning runs, seeing a hare and on two occasions, a deer, amongst sunflowers. Swimming in the Lot, cycling and canoeing are all on our list of favourite things we did. We also have a great picture of three of the red squirrels on the tree near the bolet - what a brilliant place for breakfast. Thank you so very much from all of us. We have all had an amazing 3 weeks stay in your beautiful house. Our grand children have all learned to swim in the pool and we have all enjoyed our days out in this lovely part of France. We can't thank you enough for giving us everything we could wish for in a holiday home - you have thought of every home comfort. We will be recommending this as the best place to stay for all.

Many thanks for arranging our rental of Le Chambarru in Blauzac, it is a tremendous house and we had a very good holiday with our friends from the USA. We enjoyed meeting the owners.

It’s like staying with friends, with all the positives and none of the negatives! One of the things I think we will remember most about our trip are Karen and Russell. They gave our family the warmest of welcomes and ensured our stay was both comfortable and with a touch of luxury. Having never ventured to this part of France, it was fantastic to have the helpful suggestions for wineries not to be missed, activities for the kids, and the best places to eat. On the other side of the coin, we had our much-needed R&R. The oasis of peace and tranquility of the Loft, the gorgeous terrace for evening aperitifs, and alfresco dining, the extensive and beautiful gardens, and the sparkling azure gem of a pool! Thank you both for making our holiday so special. That cake : WOW! WOW! WOW! Despite all the fab patisserie, the kids still go on about that cake, Karen! Recipe, please!
We stayed for one week and we cannot wait to go again. When we arrived we were surprised how spacious and homely the villa was and it has amazing views. It is wonderfully located about 5- 10 minutes walk from the centre of Callas which is a typical Provençal village. We really enjoyed walking there every morning to buys our bread and croissants for breakfast. There are also some very good restaurants in Callas. The pool is lovely and we even swam every day in May. We ate in the garden and it is wonderfully quiet and tranquil. The region is full of breathtaking views and there is loads to see and do. We went to the Gorge du Verdon (Europe's Grand Canyon) and the beach at Saint Raphael and Juan les Pins. We had a really brill holiday and hope to return.
At Les Oliviers du Sud we felt like God in France as usual. From the sunny terrace, with a glass of wine in hand, a cheese nearby, we enjoyed the vines in the valley below us in ‘deafening’ silence, watched the olives come out of the blossom and listened to the cheerful twittering of the birds. The flat of the ever friendly and helpful hosts Esther and Leonard is furnished with taste. A touch of nostalgia with the look of today. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom is comfortable. Everything not only looks new, but is new. From the first moment, we felt at home here. The nearby forests invite you to go for a nice walk. By the way, you can walk everywhere in the area. Tip: the route along the medieval village of La Roque-sur-Ceze with the waterfalls nearby. In the village of Tresques, near Domaine Cadignac, we imagined ourselves in the France of old. A medieval tower with an exhibition of contemporary art, a bakery and grocery shop, a water spring where the villagers tap their daily drinking water and a good winemaker. Where do you still find these villages? The residence is conveniently located for visiting larger cities. Half an hour’s drive and you are in Orange with memories of the Dutch royal house or in the papal city of Avignon, where you can browse in one of those real French bric-a-brac markets in a suburb every Saturday morning. Or you can walk around Nîmes Collesseum after an hour’s drive and have visited the impressive aqueduct built by Romans on the way there. The ancient city centre of Nîmes and of historic Avignon are also an eldorado for funshoppers. In short, the fully equipped and rustic L'Oliveraie was an ideal base for us to (re)discover French nature and culture. We will definitely come back here again!

L'hôte était super. Elle a fait de son mieux pour que nous nous sentions chez nous. Le secteur est pittoresque et idéal pour explorer cette région viticole.
Quel plaisir ce fut de trouver cette magnifique maison dans un endroit aussi merveilleux. Le bonus supplémentaire était la propriétaire, Mme W, qui était si chaleureuse et accueillante et n'aurait pas pu être plus serviable. Il y avait une mine d'informations sur la région disponible à la maison, mais avant d'arriver à la maison, Sharon nous avait armés de toutes les instructions et informations pratiques qui rendent les vacances tellement plus faciles et relaxantes. La maison est équipée de tout ce que vous pourriez souhaiter (et probablement plus) ! Nous aimons cuisiner et il n'y a jamais eu un ustensile de cuisine ou une pièce d'équipement qui n'était pas à portée de main. Si vous n'aimez pas ou ne souhaitez pas cuisiner, n'ayez crainte, les magasins et les marchés locaux offrent tout ce dont vous avez besoin et dans les environs, il existe un large éventail de restaurants si vous souhaitez faire préparer un repas pour vous. Nous avons également pris note d'un certain nombre de titres de livres à rechercher lorsque nous rentrerons à la maison en fonction de la «bibliothèque» de livres de la maison. Je recommanderais de lire un livre assis sur l'un des nombreux sièges de fenêtre en s'imprégnant de la vue! Nous voyagions avec la famille élargie et avec tant d'espaces de détente supplémentaires, cela signifiait que nous avions tous notre propre espace quand nous en avions besoin et que nous pouvions nous réunir quand nous le voulions. Il s'agit donc d'une maison qui répond aux besoins d'une famille nombreuse/élargie ou d'un groupe d'amis. Bien que nous n'ayons pas eu un temps torride, nous avons utilisé la piscine et après une journée de visites, c'était rafraîchissant. Encore une fois, le sens de l'humour, la chaleur et la volonté de Sharon d'aider de toutes les manières possibles nous ont permis de tirer le meilleur parti de nos vacances en Lauguedoc. Je ne saurais trop recommander la Maison Charvin !
Le château a été un lieu de villégiature fabuleux - une combinaison unique de grandeur et de confort chaleureux. Les installations sont superbes et typiques de la campagne. La propriétaire nous a gracieusement et chaleureusement reçus dans sa maison. Jean-Marie est une merveille - vraiment serviable et rapide pour répondre à toutes les demandes que nous avions. La région a tellement d'histoire tout autour, mais il y en a pour tous les goûts. Des châteaux en abondance partout. Je recommanderais certainement de faire du canoë sur la Dordogne - si vous pouvez gérer la randonnée en canoë depuis Castelnaud, ce serait un voyage incroyable - nous sommes partis de St Cyprien, ce qui était super aussi, mais la vue sur Castelnaud doit être incroyable. Nous avons eu de la chance avec le temps donc les enfants (et les adultes) se sont beaucoup amusés au bord de la piscine. Je vous remercie pour votre hospitalité.

We just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful holiday in your beautiful house. You have made everything so comfortable and easy and it was such a joy to stay there. The location was perfect, such a peaceful spot with stunning views, in a pretty village. It exceeded all of our expectations. The region is so interesting too. We loved it all but especially the salt water swimming pool and the way you have landscaped the whole outside areas. We spent as much time as we could relaxing there. I hope we can return for another holiday soon! Thank you from us all. We couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. It really was perfect.
A very beautiful setting for our first family trip to Europe! The villa and surrounds were so beautiful that nobody wanted to go anywhere… just sit and relax. A fantastic kitchen helped us feed our big group. Brent and Debbie were very welcoming and made our week very special. Thank you.

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay in the Loft du Vigneron; we have had a wonderfully relaxing and luxurious stay. It's been lovely staying somewhere with an excellent kitchen and such well-appointed bathrooms. And the beds are exceptionally comfortable. Externally, your garden is absolutely stunning and such a fabulous surprise - we leave inspired! More than anything, it's been your warmth and generous hospitality which will stay with us.
Best villa in 15 years of visiting France. Pool was wonderful and essential for cooling off when the temperatures exceeded 30 degrees. Super area for cycling and hiking. Best meal was at L'Aspargus (Valros) - well worth the drive. Best meals in Pézenas at Les Marronniers.

We had a wonderful time at your beautiful domain. We explored the region extensively, but would love to come back again to enjoy more of the peace and quiet here on your property. The highlights for me were swimming lengths in the warm pool, strolling around the beautiful garden with all the different types of trees (olive, fig, pomegranate etc) and exploring the delightful surrounding Provence countryside in its full glory. Despite being a large group of people, the house always felt cool and spacious and the amenities functioned perfectly. There is also a marvellous restaurant within walking distance. Thank you again for making my holiday so enjoyable.

Merci de nous permettre de partager votre belle maison. Malgré le temps inhabituel, nous avons passé un moment fantastique ici et avons pleinement profité de la maison, de la piscine et des jardins. Les vues sont spectaculaires. Frédéric est un bijou, il a été très sympathique et accueillant, toujours joignable et serviable même en cas d'orage et suite à une coupure de courant. Nous emporterons des photos et des souvenirs qui dureront longtemps.

Cette année, la météo a été parfaite et nous avons vraiment apprécié nos excursions à Bordeaux, Saint-Émilion, les grottes et le canoë sur la rivière du Auemant-du-Dropt.
