Time for an emotional essay... Thak you for a lovely week, it is a magical place. Walking into Piglet is like coming home (but tidier and more luxurious !). Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house, beside the river. Everything really comfortable and close to lots of things to do. We had a lovely day in Bordeaux visiting the fantastic cathedral and the great shops. Sadly, we are going home tomorrow but will remember our visit fondly.
Une villa merveilleuse et un hôte formidable. Nous avons passé des vacances incroyables à la Maison des Communes et visité les environs. Délicieux repas au restaurant de la Tour et Pica Pica à Béziers. Un peu de vélo agréable et beaucoup de détente au bord de la piscine (la piscine a été parfaitement entretenue par l'hôte). La livraison du petit-déjeuner était aussi un vrai régal ! Merci.
Merci pour votre hospitalité. Nous avons vraiment apprécié les petits déjeuners, le vin et le fromage. Le repas au Pourquoi Pas était incroyable même si nous avons vécu une aventure pour le trouver ! Beau temps dans la première moitié de la semaine mais dommage que nous ayons eu du vent et de la pluie ces derniers jours. Bon repas à la Pizzeria La Cremade à Béziers Villeneuve - à côté d'une écluse sur le Canal du Midi. Les Neuf Écluses valent également la peine d'être visitées. J'ai apprécié la plage de Sérignan. We were four related families of eight adults and 8 children aged 3-7. The palatial exterior of the Chateau belies the comfort and homeliness of its interior which boasts some of the most comfortable beds we have slept in. The shuttered windows and the judicious repositioning of a vase or two made it easy to child-proof the rooms. The magnificent parkland of trees, lawns and flower-beds offers a short-walk to a fully enclosed and secure open-air swimming pool, which was a particular highlight. The views across the surrounding countryside are simply stunning. We particularly valued the extensive space, the quiet and the privacy. Gaelle was extremely helpful in dealing with any queries and we are grateful to her and her family for sharing their home with a large group of complete strangers. Fiona
We stayed with our 2 children aged 5 and 7 and had a wonderful time. There are plenty of things to do nearby and the accomodation was well equiped and great for a family holiday. The pool is wonderful for long hot afternoons and there is lots of outdoor space to explore. The hosts were very helpful and I would recommend this place to my friends.
We have had a wonderful stay here, the weather has been lovely and the pool was perfect. We stayed outside the whole time!
Ça s'est très bien passé pour notre famille de 7 adultes, une petite fille et 2 petits chiens. De l'espace, c'est parfait avec beaucoup de coins pour se reposer, manger ou juste avoir un peu de paix. La clim était excellente avec la chaleur de cette semaine. La télévision énorme pour les finales de Wimbledon et les propriétaires bien accueillants. Merci beaucoup pour tout. À la prochaine!!!
This mansion offers everything anyone could wish for. Spacious, large bedrooms, comfortable bathrooms and outdoors like a park. Lovely swimming pool with sun beds and a lunching area (at least, that’s how we used it. Every one of our group (including the kids) had a wonderful week, no exceptions. Contact with the owner was swift and pleasant and the property manager Caroline is a gem. We hope to be back some other time, but meanwhile we recommend this property to anyone who wants to have an excellent French experience. Many thanks.
Lovely. Brilliant for kids and enjoyed walking in the area. Pool and playroom were a big hit. Catering delicious. Fantastic service. On hand when needed but not always around which is great. Really enjoyed it. Thanks.
Thank you for all your kindness, warmth and hospitality. We have enjoyed everything especially all the butterflies (14 species) and the beautiful woods.
We have had a wonderful week. The pool and garden are wonderful for the kids, whose week was made by a night swim! We have been to the rope climbing, canoeing and night market. The house really does have everything one could need or want. For the adults, the peace and calm and the location is brilliant. Merci!
La maison est fabuleuse, bien entretenue, avec beaucoup de caractère et de charme, mais également bien équipée pour une vie moderne. Belle piscine, beaux jardins et une hôte exceptionnelle. Nous avons eu beaucoup de soleil et avons pu vraiment profiter de la magnifique campagne et des villages pittoresques voisins. De très bonnes vacances, merci.

What a fantastic holiday we have had! Every aspect has been superb. We both agree (and that's unusual!) that this is the best accommodation we have ever stayed in. The attention to detail is superb and your warmth and hospitality has been much appreciated. We shall look forward to a return visit.

I just wanted to thank you for providing us with the perfect spot for our vacation week in Provence. We loved everything about your home, the surroundings and the people. As it was my first time to Provence, we had an elaborate plan to visit Aix, Arles, Avignon etc and whereas I am sure they are fantastic places too, however, we ended up exploring the lovely mountain villages surrounding your home and loved every minute. Thank you for leaving the details regarding bike rental and horse-back riding, in the end it was a bit too hot to do either but maybe next time?! The house was great in every way and we loved every attention to detail and your impeccable taste. Again, thank you for a wonderful holiday, we do hope that some day we can return.
What can we say? The fabulous ‘Loft’ is exceeded only by the warmth and generosity of you the hosts! We will return!
Il est rare de trouver une si belle décoration où se côtoient antiquités de grande qualité et art contemporain. Nous avons apprécié l’authenticité des lieux, la nature protégée et la proximité des sites touristiques majeurs. Par leur gentillesse et leurs recommandations, les hôtes ont largement participé à notre agréable séjour. Nous recommandons ce gîte récemment ouvert à la location et en permanente évolution.
We stayed in this beautiful house in June of this year Wow what a find ! Situated in the magnificent village of Pezenas the house is only a few minutes walk away from amazing antique shops , Boulangeries, and craft shops. The house itself is perfect throughout with a great outdoor pool and lovely outdoor area for eating and even has separate games room too ! Carcassonne and Montpellier are easily accessible and should be explored! So much to do in the area, we will be back! Would highly recommend.
Pete has been a brilliant host with lots of recommendations. Thank you! We have had a fantastic stay at a beautiful location. With our 3 children (12, 10 and 7) we have really enjoyed Chateau de Biron – lots of outdoor toys / games for the kids + a nice picnic area. Lac de Lougratte – safe swimming / paddling for little ones, a diving pontoon and inflatable courses for older ones. Take a picnic! Canoeing (Canoe Rabaska) + Monflanquin night market at Loubéjac.
We have just returned from Villa La Baronne where our family of 15 had a wonderful time! The villa is exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. It is in an ideal location, less than a 10 minute drive to the nearest supermarket.
A little corner of paradise ! Everything is perfect; the house, the exteriors, the decoration, the atmosphere.
Fabulous stay. Loved the place and the pool of course. Great place for all the family.
