We have so enjoyed our week here in our very own secret garden. Who would imagine there would be such a magical place waiting for us, just a second from the road? After many moments of uncertainty, it has been a huge tonic to relax in the sunshine in this beautiful garden and enjoy relaxing with our daughters. We haven’t explored very much beyond the Loft, but the countryside is beautiful, the wine and food delicious and the canoeing trip exhilarating and at times a little scary! Karen and Russell are the perfect hosts - always present but never in your space. They have created a perfect holiday home - immaculate and brilliantly equipped, and the fridge and cupboards generously filled to enhance your welcome and stay. We have enjoyed hours by the perfect pool and will fondly remember our 2021 say here. Hopefully we will be back! Thank you, Karen and Russell for everything.
We have just returned from a fantastic holiday in Fitou, staying in this lovely and comfortable villa. I agree with other reviewers, the pictures do not do the property justice. It is spacious with a very high finish throughout maintaining a very homely feel. Our party consisted of 2 families with 4 kids (6, 6, 2 and 2), they loved it. As for the area, well it's a really special region of France. The location is perfect for day trips to the regions finest attractions (Carcassonne, Collioure, Gruissan etc...) and equally relaxing staying local. Fitou and nearby Leucate Village are charming and the local beaches are lovely, unspoilt and crowd free. There is as much or as little to do here as you'd like. We will certainly be coming back to the area and hopefully to this villa again.
Thank you for a truly fabulous week at Mas de Clouze. The accommodation, pool and grounds were just perfect and the owners so friendly and helpful. We didn’t want to return home and will be back next year.
We spent a beautiful 2 weeks here! We felt at home in this fabulous house. La Baie du Lac was a real favourite. We really hope to return.
La propriété est un endroit idéal pour passer un séjour relaxant, très agréable dans le Périgord. Dommage que la deuxième semaine n'était pas disponible.
Merci pour cette semaine très agréable à la Maison Brunet. C'était l'endroit idéal où passer plusieurs jours passionnants. Le Gouffre de Padirac, les hauteurs rocheuses de Rocamadour, la cité médiévale de Monpazier et bien d'autres choses encore… Mais c'était toujours un plaisir de revenir à la Maison Brunet.
Elle doit être la villa de vacances d'été parfaite pour une petite famille. En couple nous avons été rejoints par quelques amis pour une partie de notre séjour et nous avons passé de très bons moments au soleil. Le restaurant O 13 Clochers à Monteton a changé de direction et sert une cuisine délicieuse. Hostellerie des Ducs de bonne qualité - et le restaurant aux Seyches a un rapport qualité-prix incroyable. Nous sommes sûrs de revenir.
A wonderful fortnight of celebrations for friends and all our family (17!) for Mike’s 70th Birthday! The manor was the perfect place for us all — so big and comfortable and so much to do. What a gem it is! Thank you so much for allowing us to come again. We have made some amazing memories!
Nous avions réservé cette propriété depuis 2020 pour fêter mon 70e anniversaire avec mon fils et sa famille. Ce séjour s'inscrivait dans le cadre de quatre semaines de vacances en France. La propriété était exactement comme nous l'avions imaginée : un château français typique, très spacieux et meublé d'antiquités. Les propriétaires étaient très serviables et attentifs à tous nos besoins. La propriété était bien équipée et le jardin était magnifique. La piscine a été particulièrement appréciée, car il faisait exceptionnellement chaud. Nous avons tous passé d'excellentes vacances et serions ravis de revenir. Merci.
Amazing lunch spreads on the big table every day accompanied by tasing of rose and red wine. Stunning BBQ dinners every evening. Sitting by the pool, staring at the view and saying 'wow'! on a regular basis. Kids very happy in the cinema for slightly too many hours! What a stunning pace and what a privilege to have visited here. Thank you. Look forward to returning one day.
Belle villa dans un endroit magnifique. Tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour un séjour confortable. L'hôte qui nous a accueillis à l'arrivée et au départ n'aurait pas pu être plus serviable et sympathique.
A wonderful return visit to Villa Kali and this beautiful area of France. Weather has been great all week with plenty of sunshine, with the pool providing much needed relief. Enjoyed visits to Saint-Guilhem-le-Desert and Montpellier, as well as several trips to Pèzenas, particularly the ice cream shops! Enjoyed meals at Les Palmiers (quite expensive) and Chef Brasserie Chez Hansi (good value). Saturday market in Pèzenas worth a visit and Serignan Plage probably the best beach. The patisserie / boulangerie opposite Carrefour does great bread, croissants and gateaux. Look forward to a return visit in the future. Thanks for a great holiday! 5 / 5.
Nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances ici dans la magnifique ville de Sarlat. La maison est parfaite avec de beaux meubles, une cuisine bien équipée et des douches incroyables. La piscine était exactement ce dont nous avions besoin après de longues journées passées à explorer les merveilleux sites de la Dordogne (le Gouffre de Padirac étant une visite majeure). L'emplacement de la maison est parfait, à distance de marche de la ville mais très paisible, entouré d'un beau jardin arboré. Nous espérons revenir l'année prochaine. Merci Jackie et Geoff pour ces merveilleuses vacances.
C'est vraiment une propriété merveilleuse avec des hôtes sympathiques et accueillants : c'était encore mieux en vrai que sur les photos. La maison ne manque de rien, ni en charme ni en qualité de finition intérieure et tout était prévu pour rendre notre séjour aussi confortable qu'on pourrait l'espérer. C'était une véritable « maison loin de chez soi » avec plusieurs petites attentions qui ont fait toute la différence (savon frais dans la salle de bain, dosettes de café et eau en bouteille si nous le voulions dans la cuisine pour n'en citer que quelques-unes). Tout cela, combiné à un emplacement fantastiquement pittoresque et paisible, fait que nous ne pouvons que recommander cette propriété et que nous reviendrons très certainement la prochaine fois que nous visiterons la région Languedoc en Occitanie !
J'ai adoré ces vacances. J'adore le sport, alors j'ai passé la plupart de mes journées dans la magnifique piscine. Je m'entraînais à nager, puis je flottais en admirant le ciel bleu. J'ai adoré le court de tennis et j'ai passé des heures à travailler mon coup droit. Le château est tellement joli qu'il aurait pu être inventé. N'importe quel enfant adorerait cet endroit.
Merveilleux séjour! Un véritable petit bijou. La maison est un délice et les jardins sont fabuleux. Un endroit vraiment spécial. Merci!
We've had a blissful week here. The house is beautifully and very stylishly renovated and is extremely comfortable and easy to live in. The surrounding environment is stunning. We've loved picking fresh figs straight from the tree breakfast and getting to know the local wines.
Thank you both for the most wonderful stay at your beautiful villa. We’ve had the most incredible week exploring the South of France – an area we love – and discovering new places. This spot is extremely special and we’ve relished the relaxing days and evenings spent here (made even more special by the sighting of a wild boar with babies and your marvellous set up for the gorgeous cats) – thank you for showing us this! The secluded spot, surrounded by woodland, an aromatic and fragrant garden attracting many butterflies, a beautiful pool and terrace area is somewhere we won’t forget and would love to come back to. Everything has been thought of at this place which makes it so homely. Everything from kitchen utensils and supplies to the BBQ, bowls and the TV set-up – the place has it all. You have both been such friendly and discrete hosts, allowing us such privacy and the personality you have stamped on the place (from plants, to artwork and sculptures as well as the lovely cats) makes this space so full of character too. Thanks again and we wish you both the best – hopefully we’ll return in the future!
Villa parfaite, hôtes charmants et vue imprenable. Wow, cette villa est tout simplement parfaite à tout point de vue ! C'est beau, paisible, propre et très proche de Saint-Paul-de-Vence qui est magnifique. Les propriétaires étaient très gentils avec nous, s'assurant toujours que nous avions tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Toute la semaine n'a été que luxe et confort et la piscine était divine ! Nous reviendrons certainement ici car nous avons passé une semaine fantastique. Dès notre arrivée jusqu'à notre départ, nous nous sommes sentis tellement détendus et gâtés d'attentions ! Je ne peux pas décrire la belle semaine que nous venons de passer dans cette villa, tout était tout simplement parfait ! Merci encore pour ces vacances fantastiques et nous espérons revenir bientôt !

Mas du Château was simply perfect. It was spotless, comfortable, peaceful and he was a wonderful host; nothing was too much trouble. We couldn’t have asked for anything more and didn’t want to leave.
Nous partons après deux semaines incroyables au Malardier, une maison pleine de caractère et tellement spacieuse. Merci Gay et Richard. Nos amis américains ont exploré la région mais nous les Britanniques qui ne voient pas autant le soleil qu'eux étaient plus qu'heureux de se prélasser près de la piscine. Il y avait tout ce qu'on pouvait souhaiter dans la maison et les enfants étaient ravis des jouets dans le grenier ! C'est une belle partie de la France, les vues sont spectaculaires. Nous avons trouvé de bons restaurants et apprécié la culture locale. Au revoir.
Beautiful property, had everything I needed. Overlooks the lake, within walking distance of Catus with amenities. Had a great stay!
Nous avons séjourné dans cette villa à Cagnes-sur-Mer et je voulais juste dire que nous avons passé de superbes vacances. La villa était absolument parfaite avec tout ce dont nous pouvions avoir besoin. Elle est idéalement située si vous ne voulez pas louer de voiture car les magasins, les restaurants, les plages et la gare ne sont qu'à 5-10 minutes à pied. Nous recommanderions certainement cette villa.
Nous y avons passé une fantastique semaine de vacances. Cette maison a une position incroyable avec des vues panoramiques dans toutes les directions. J'ai apprécié y cuisiner et me détendre dans la piscine. Merci d'avoir une maison aussi confortable et bien équipée. Nous n’avions besoin de rien d'autre. Un grand choix de routes où circuler à vélo. Beautiful château with all amenities. Ann was extremely helpful with organising taxis, wine tours and any concerns. Very efficient in organising a new barbecue. Thank you for helping us have a fantastic holiday.
Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleusement agréable au Malardier. Le temps a été très chaud pendant quelques jours et il faudrait un peu de pluie. Les vues et la configuration de la propriété conviennent parfaitement à un grand groupe familial. Les années consacrées à la construction et au design ont vraiment porté leurs fruits. Perfect for a relaxing holiday. First impressions were better than the photographs. We wanted a relaxing family holiday after a very hectic year and that is what we experienced. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful but left you completely alone unless you needed something. The villa itself is spotless, beautifully laid out and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Outside is incredibly peaceful and we spend the majority of our time by the pool.. Yet although it feels beautifully isolated it is in fact only minutes from shops and lotes of things to see and dol Will definitely return if we are able.
