Thank you, Florence, for a lovely holiday in your little paradise. We have been able to relax properly for the first time in a long time. Your advice on places to visit was excellent. The girls (and us) loved the pool, particularly when the temperature reached 40°C! Your hospitality was wonderful, thank you once again.
Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux au Cottage du Jardin, une maison pleine de charme et digne d'une carte postale. Thonac est idéalement situé pour visiter cette partie de la Dordogne, et la proximité des restaurants et des commerces est un atout considérable. Un grand merci à Caterina et Steve pour leur chaleureux accueil.
Une villa merveilleuse et un hôte formidable. Nous avons passé des vacances incroyables à la Maison des Communes et visité les environs. Délicieux repas au restaurant de la Tour et Pica Pica à Béziers. Un peu de vélo agréable et beaucoup de détente au bord de la piscine (la piscine a été parfaitement entretenue par l'hôte). La livraison du petit-déjeuner était aussi un vrai régal ! Merci.
Nous avons passé un superbe séjour dans cette magnifique maison ! Nous avons mangé plein de pains au chocolat, mais nous avons compensé avec plein de parties de tennis, de volley-ball et de badminton ! Merci beaucoup !

We have just returned from a fabulous fortnight. The listing and reviews stated the house was comfy and well equipped, well I can totally vouch for that. We wanted for nothing. Beds are very comfy, the outdoor area is outstanding. Everything you could want is to hand. One, if not the best pool we've ever used and Martyn keeps it spotless everyday. The owners are on hand if needed or not. The village is excellent, a short walk with a restaurant. Highly recommended and we'll be back.
Superbe maison de campagne à Domme. Huit membres de notre famille ont récemment passé quelques jours dans la région de la Dordogne et ont beaucoup apprécié notre maison de vacances, bien située à Domme. Le Borghesia était une belle, très impressionnante et très ancienne maison rénovée et aménagée pour le style de vie d'aujourd'hui. Elle est bien située dans un joli cadre champêtre. L'arrivée et le départ se sont déroulés sans problème. Je recommanderais certainement Le Borghesia à d'autres voyageurs.
Merci de nous avoir fait partager votre belle demeure. Nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous ici dans cet environnement paisible et reviendrons un jour.

We had a lovely time thank you - we've stayed in many properties in France over the years and I can safely say that Domaine des Volets was the best equipped and most comfortable. It was great being so close to Carcassonne as well. If you will have us again, we would love to return some day!

An absolutely amazing stay – we will return! We had the most wonderful 6-day stay at Petite Maison de Campagne. Set in a peaceful, tranquil location, we woke up each morning to the sights and sounds of cows from the neighbouring farm grazing in the fields – such a lovely view to enjoy while having coffee and breakfast. The pool and sun loungers were exactly what we needed for the hot French summer, and our son loved relaxing in the hammock under the trees. The property itself has been beautifully restored, with everything you could possibly want or need – including Wi-Fi (essential when travelling with two teens!). Our host was fantastic from start to finish. Communication was clear and friendly from the moment we booked, with all the information we needed to find the property and settle in. She even recommended some brilliant places to visit. I had one query during our stay, which she answered promptly and helpfully. The surrounding area offers so much to see and do – we only managed a fraction of it, so we’ll definitely have to come back to explore more. I highly recommend La Maison Nid to anyone looking for a relaxing yet well-equipped place to stay in this beautiful part of France. We loved it and can’t wait to return.

Stunning villa with great managers. They pay great attention to detail and took care of every issue. Villa had lots of extras from record player to wine fridge, inflatables for the pool, road access to pool so we could easily get groceries to top kitchen. Loved it!

La campagne, nous avons réussi à voir de beaux cerfs et avons particulièrement apprécié les oiseaux-mouches, si minuscules. Nous avons réussi à explorer les marchés locaux et certaines villes. Where to begin? Booked this wonderful house 10 months ago. Often looked at the pictures and thought can anywhere be so perfect... it can! The sheer joy of walking from room to room, spending entire days outside by and in the pool. Simple living in a sumptuous house which just keeps giving with it's character, beautiful art and furniture. Was this as perfect as I imagined? Absolutely. Would I come back? Without a doubt. Loved every minute'
Le chalet : un véritable bijou au cœur d'une vallée magnifique, la terrasse spacieuse et ensoleillée avec une vue imprenable. Salle de jeux, sauna et jacuzzi nous ont permis de passer de très bons moments en famille. Les équipements modernes facilitent le quotidien. La décoration "artistique" apaise l'esprit et ouvre à la rêverie.
This is certainly the most tranquil villa I have ever stayed in. The pool and garden are quite lovely. Very hard to pull ourselves away. The area is wonderful. Finally I understand why so many people relocate to the Languedoc-Roussillon.
The property was everything we were hoping for and more. It's simple yet beautifully done out inside. The outdoor areas are great, particularly the pool. It's so well designed for a family holiday. The local village is so cute and the hotel restaurant great too. And obviously the local wine was delicious too! Couldn't have asked for more.

Maison Des Vignobles is a property full of character features and a really high level of facilities with thoughtful finishing touches. Very spacious downstairs is complemented by a superb master bedroom with large en suite looking out over the neighbouring vineyard. Top quality plumbing next to period features is always good! Debbie was the perfect neighbour/owner, being super helpful and generous with a welcome pack and her local knowledge. The laundry room with local products for sale (including wine) was an unexpected bonus. The courtyard, pool and gardens are all lovely, though one tiny shame is that they are on the other side of the house from the big view across the vineyard - but many of the windows have that view so no reason to miss the sunsets and stars.
Both properties were finished to an extremely high standard and provided luxurious and comfortable accommodation for all 15 of us (with some room to spare!). It was immediately apparent upon our arrival that a great deal of love and attention to detail has gone into making the domaine the place that it is and we felt very privileged to be able to enjoy everything that the property has to offer.

Je veux vraiment garder ce bijou caché pour moi ! C’est super. L’appartement est ce que nous souhaitons tous avoir. Deux chambres avec lits doubles. Belle vue sur la mer depuis le balcon. Parking privé. Endroit privé avec chaises côté mer. Beach club très proche. Relaxant et facile de communiquer avec le propriétaire Paul. À l’arrivée, Ben était là avec les clés et beaucoup de conseils sur la région. Réservation arrangée, etc. Très facile d’accès et super serviable. Donc n’y allez pas car nous voulons y aller plus souvent !
Un grand merci pour votre accueil chaleureux et vos attentions tout au long de notre séjour d'une semaine. Votre propriété est un lieu vraiment merveilleux, aussi bien pour y séjourner que pour partir à la découverte de cette région de France. Les jardins offrent une agréable sensation d'espace et de sérénité ; la piscine et sa terrasse environnante sont baignées de soleil, tandis que la terrasse surélevée à l'avant de la maison est l'endroit idéal pour prendre l'apéritif, discuter et admirer la vue magnifique sur les paysages vallonnés au coucher du soleil — tout simplement parfait. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l'atmosphère et l'intimité de la cour arrière, et la cuisine d'été avec son coin détente a rendu nos repas en plein air absolument délicieux ! Un autre atout majeur de la propriété est son emplacement privilégié, qui en fait un point de chute idéal pour sillonner la région — c'est fantastique. Nous avons tous deux hâte de revenir !
