We had an amazing stay in this beautiful house. We would recommend to everyone! Such a beautiful place with lots of happy memories made!
Visiting Le Mas Pouget was like releasing a long exhalation of breath and with it, the stresses of day-to-day life. The house, as mentioned in the other review here, is indescribable. It is an oasis of cool and calm, in a basin of trees and regional wildlife, which soothes the soul. It is a stunning part of the planet and felt like a special, secret place that remains unspoiled. The accommodation is fantastic. Quirky and comfortable, with many social spaces to enjoy your party's company as well as quiet places to escape to when you need time alone. We were seven adults and two children (aged 2 and 7) and all got along famously over the course of our 10 days, thanks to the space provided. Frederic, Virginie and Laure literally could not have been more helpful. We had all manner of questions and they were incredibly receptive and responsive, helping us with any queries and genuinely friendly with it. We think everybody needs this place/space in their lives ;-) Thank you for a wonderful and very memorable holiday.
Super endroit dans une belle partie de la vallée du Lot. La maison peut accueillir confortablement 18 personnes environ. Belle piscine et terrain avec une salle de sport et de nombreuses options pour occuper les enfants. Une voiture estnécessaire lors du séjour. Les propriétaires Richard et Nicky sont très serviables si vous avez besoin de quoi que ce soit. Belle cave à vin également (approvisionnée). Superbe semaine passée par tous.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour au Château Périgord et Jean-Marie a rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. J'espère que nous pourrons revenir un jour en famille et, espérons-le, avec un temps un peu plus chaud! Merci encore pour ce merveilleux séjour dans votre belle maison.
Magnifique maison vigneronne très bien équipée. Le jardin est très bien aménagé avec plusieurs espaces pour se détendre auprès de la piscine. Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et réactifs. Je recommande vivement !
Cannot fault this property. Lovely house and pool - beautifully furnished. Christophe was extremely helpful and discreet (it was not really apparent that they were living next door as we hardly saw them). I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful break with lots to do within easy reach.
This is our second family holiday in this wonderful house. The welcome from Ian and Hugh when we arrived was excellent. The house and garden are beautifully cared for and the standard of accommodation is 'five star'. It felt like home from home rather than a soleless rental property. Having the owners on site was a plus as they where able to guide us with local activities and restaurant recommendations... there is a lot to do in this area and being so close to some of the best wine regions in the world is definitely a big plus. We also has a lovely day in Bordeaux, which is an easy drive or train journey and well worth the effort. We plan to return next year for our summer break and I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful peaceful haven to anyone wishing to experience the best in hospitality! What a terrific home to say in. Totally relaxing with so much thought given to every detail. We really loved the tour of all the buildings and we look forward to visiting again to see the developments. Nos vacances la semaine dernière dans cette belle propriété n'ont été qu'une expérience 5 étoiles. Thierry et Philippe nous ont tout fourni à un standard aussi élevé que professionnel. La maison et la piscine étaient parfaites à tous points de vue. Si paisible et relaxant, nous y retournerions sans hésiter et conseillerions à quiconque souhaite réserver de le faire.
Our stay was fantastic. I highly recommend this property. It is in pristine condition and everything is new. The sheets, towels and mattresses are luxurious. The house is very modern inside with all the comforts of a city home. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. The house was impeccable. The pool is fantastic and the outdoor entertaining area is large and has great facilities. It is only a short walk to the town of Monségur. Here you can find a supermarket and local market. Christophe was always available to assist us with anything we needed. He answered our calls immediately. I highly recommend this property.
Lovely property, lots of space and well equipped. Play room added bonus. Caroline responded very promptly and efficiently when we discovered a wasp nest!
Je veux juste vous envoyer un petit message pour vous dire quelles belles vacances nous passons dans votre charmante maison. D'après les photos, il avait l'air fabuleux, mais en fait, à l'arrivée, il a vraiment dépassé nos attentes. Nous apprécions vraiment ce bel environnement et aussi le fait rare qu'il était très bien approvisionné avec toutes ces choses dont on a normalement besoin et pour lesquelles on se précipite au supermarché pour les acheter : papier toilette, savon, tablettes pour lave-vaisselle et autres. Je voulais juste vous faire savoir à quel point c'est un endroit charmant et vous dire merci.

Great house, wonderful weather, lovely city. We loved the pool, the bike ride along the Canal du Midi, we enjoyed having space in a rented house. The decoration of the house is very well done and we feel very relaxed now.
We had the most wonderful ‘family and friends ‘gathering at La Petite Maison Générille. The hosts were most wonderful and nothing was too much trouble . They told us of markets, restaurants, gardens and vineyards… all were wonderful. The houses are spacious and well equipped the grounds and gardens perfect and the salt water pool... bliss. We had children and tiny grandchildren with us and it was the perfect base to explore the wonderful villages such as Sarlat with its night market and Domme . We went canoeing and swam in the river, visited nearby châteaux and ended our week at a wonderful Bricante taking a few French antiques home… Altogether a fabulous week I only wish we had stayed longer ! We look forward to returning to this very special place with wonderful hosts who were so kind and helpful.
Deux semaines au Château Seyches pour profiter en famille, de la campagne en Dordogne et Garonne, du château, du vin et de la magnifique piscine... des vacances parfaites !

Moments inoubliables au sein du chalet. Nous sommes venus pour un week-end entre amis et chacun de nous est unanime: la qualité du logement, le soin apporté à chaque détails et la gentillesse et la réactivité de notre hôte nous a tous convaincus. Le chalet entièrement rénové par l’hôte est une perle rare et le propriétaire tout autant. Nous nous sommes créer des souvenirs inoubliable et espérons pouvoir revenir dès que possible. The property was absolutely wonderful and the hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. I would recommend staying there to anyone. I will definitely be back to stay there again.
Je tenais à vous signaler que nous avions été ravis de notre séjour du 5 au 12 août chez cet exploitant vigneron très cordial et motivé. La maison est belle, le site très calme, les balades nombreuses, la piscine agréable.
What a dreamy escape ! We loved every moment - so much calm and too much fun was had. What an incredible place.
Wow what a fab house! We had a brill time chilling in the garden and visiting local toddler friendly places... Would highly recommend the following:- Monkey village, paddling at Villefagnan and Cognac visit. We spotted red squirrels in the garden. The welcome pack is the best and most comprehensive we have every had and was so appreciated. Thank you! We would love to come again some time!
