From the moment we arrived to the warm welcome until our final evening, we have loved every second of our stay. Your helpful advice and local knowledge have been invaluable. The house could not be in a better location, fabulous views and only minutes from the bakery. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
My recent stay at this charming villa in Duras this summer, was nothing short of exceptional. Accommodation: This lovely and very comfortable villa has a rustic charm and a very tasteful decor. Our rooms were cozy and spacious, offering stunning views of the surrounding hills. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Whether we were lounging along the swimming pool, in the beautifully landscaped garden, or sipping Rosé on the terrace as the sun set over the vineyards, or cooking in a very pleasant and well equipped kitchen, every moment felt like a blissful escape. The attention to detail in every aspect of the villa created an ambiance of warmth and relaxation that was truly unparalleled. Location: The village and the castle of Duras are simply enchanting. Everything is at a waking distance and Duras offers a lot of fun activities : visit of the castle, genuinely impressive medieval jousts., light and sounds spectacles explaining the long and fascinating history of the region projected on the walls of the castle, group hikes in nature, tastings of local (and delicious) food. At night, the village organizes concerts where dancing is more than encouraged! And the traditional open air market is a wonderful experience. There was always something new and fun to discover. I cannot recommend this beautiful gem highly enough and look forward to returning again this summer!
Maison agréable et propre dans un quartier très calme. Chaque chambre dispose d'une salle de bain, donc parfaite pour plusieurs familles. Belle et grande piscine clôturée idéale pour les enfants. La table de pique-nique sous les arbres est idéale pour échapper à la chaleur. Je recommanderais la maison à tout le monde.

The villa was larger than we thought and very private. It contains everything you could need, want and more.
The Manoir is magnificent in every way. A perfect base for exploring The Dordogne. We all had an unforgettable holiday with lovely memories to treasure. Special thanks to Pierre and the lovely ‘pool guy’! Hope to return someday.
Fabulous Villa and location We've been coming to the south of France for year and specifically to this area and to Seillans for the last 5 years... and this villa is as good as we have ever stayed. The villa is impeccably kept, extremely comfortable and has the most magnificent views. Everything in the villa is as advertised and works well. The restaurants of Seillans are a short walk away. Although the town itself unfortunately has no boulangerie or patisserie, Fayence is only a 5 minute drive away and has a great one of those, plus a boucherie / charcuterie around the corner, both of which are close to the big Super U supermarket. The terrace and pool are East-facing. We were worried that in the photos it looked like there was little shade provided but with the big awnings for the terrace and a few parasols for the pool, finding shade from the morning sun was not a problem. We love this area for the beautiful mountain villages (seillans, Callian, Tourrettes etc) but the ease of getting around in the largely flat area south of those villages so you can get to Cannes, Grasse and the beaches. Nous venons de passer un merveilleux séjour de dix jours au Château des Grillauds avec nos trois enfants (âgés de 8, 7 et 5 ans). Le château et le parc sont absolument magnifiques et parfaits pour des vacances paisibles (sauf pour les enfants). Les enfants ont adoré et sont restés dans la piscine toute la journée et s'endormaient chaque soir en regardant des films dans le salon à l'étage, tandis que les adultes appréciaient le charme élégant de la maison et (quelques bouteilles de) produits locaux. J'ai failli ne pas écrire de critique parce que je voulais garder secret ce joyau de maison, mais nous ne saurions trop le recommander. Des remerciements particuliers sont dus aux voisins d'à côté qui nous ont accueillis et n'auraient pas pu être plus serviables ou de meilleure compagnie pendant notre séjour ; y compris nous emmener au Pizou pour la fête locale du mardi soir. En résumé, dix jours magiques - j'ai hâte de revenir.
Nous avons loué la villa avec 2 autres couples et nous avons tous passé un moment fabuleux. Les Eyermann étaient des hôtes merveilleux et nous ont fourni une base idéale pour des sorties sur Nice, Cannes, Monte Carlo et Antibes pour des excursions d'une journée avec de courts trajets en voiture. Nous avons fait des promenades jusqu'à la mer tous les jours et les 3 boulangeries et épiceries ainsi que de nombreux restaurants ne sont qu'à quelques minutes. Nous avons utilisé la piscine chauffée tous les jours et pouvons honnêtement dire que nous n'avons jamais mangé de repas à l'intérieur. Le temps était fabuleux. Ce furent des vacances incroyables dont nous nous souviendrons toujours !
The place was amazing, we went with 2 other families 6 adults 6 kids under 5. Loads of games, toys, trampoline and climbing frame to keep the kids entertained. Lovely spaces for adults and the pool was brilliant. Looking to book again next year. Thank you for a great week.
Lots of space for 3 generations of family. Kids loved pool house brilliant and they loved playing in grounds. Playroom kept kids entertained. Lots of toys and videos. Excellent. Gas BBQ was fab. Lovely cooker and dishwasher, tumble dryer made for easy holiday. Takayla and Nick excellent hosts, great welcome and nice to know they are on hand for any problems. Would come back again.
Nous avons passé de belles vacances au Château Périgord et sommes maintenant malheureusement de retour au Royaume-Uni.
We arrived at a large house that matched well and even more to what the photos showed. This is the first time we have found a vacation rental with so many dishes and kitchen supplies. As we were a large family with a few small children, this environment greatly favored the well-being of our stay. We sincerely thank our host for this generous sharing.
Amazing house for outside living ,lots of BBQs and rose on the terrace. Our outdoors loved the walk through the woods and we enjoyed the local markets. Highly recommend L’Effet Maison restaurant in Monflanquin – fantastic food and great wine. Look forward to a new pool side! Thanks for having us!

Un mois idyllique ! La ferme est charmante, fraîche à l'intérieur et magnifiquement équipée. Tout fonctionnait parfaitement, même le Wi-Fi pour les nombreuses réunions zoom que nous avions tous les deux en Angleterre. La cuisine d'été et la piscine étaient une aubaine, hier il faisait 48° au soleil ! Température démentielle mais on s'en est bien sorti, y compris Harry, notre labrador noir qui aime toujours être dehors normalement, pouvait difficilement être traîné loin du carrelage frais ! Harry a également nagé dans le Lot et dans divers lacs à proximité - bienvenus. Nous l'avons tellement aimé que nous pensons séjourner un mois l'année prochaine. Un grand merci à Stéphane et Cathy (et Jean Luc) qui se sont si bien occupés de nous, de la piscine et de la maison. La région est très sympathique et nous avons rencontré des gens adorables - au marché du mercredi soir à Salles, en promenant Harry à 7 heures du matin (Mike, pas moi !) et lors de diverses visites à Monflanquin et dans d'autres bastides locales. Les célébrations du 14 juillet hier soir étaient également très amusantes. Vive la France! En vous remerciant encore.

Nous y avons passé une belle semaine. Grande maison, beau jardin et piscine. Le temps était parfait et les sites touristiques super. Faire du vélo aussi! Nous espérons vous revoir un jour.
Quelle maison fantastique dans un endroit si charmant ! Nous avons passé des vacances vraiment merveilleuses et avons apprécié de visiter les châteaux et villages locaux. Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine dans le logement. Nous avons pu profiter pleinement de la piscine et de l'espace extérieur. Les équipements correspondaient aux photos et tout était de qualité supérieure. Je recommande la villa à tous. Plage, ville et sites touristiques se trouvent tous dans un rayon de 10 minutes. Elegance and ease. The grounds have a great sense of fun for children to explore. Excellently Maintained A great pool area, sun and shaded areas so that there is something for everyone. Great house, wonderful weather, lovely city. We loved the pool, the bike ride along the Canal du Midi, we enjoyed having space in a rented house. The decoration of the house is very well done and we feel very relaxed now.
I just wanted to let you know that we had a fantastic holiday. The only terrible part was leaving! The house was perfect and we all fell in love with it. And the views were wonderful from every room. The whole family have lots of happy memories of our 2 weeks there so thank you.
We were able to have a great week with friends at this house, which matched the photos perfectly. The host is very accommodating and accommodating. Amenities are complete, different living spaces are spacious, the pool area is a real plus. I'd recommend it!
