We have had such a wonderful holiday in your wonderful house. We've thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the fresh toys! Thank you ever so much as well for the wine and cakes which were lovely. We wish you all the best and hope to return to France soon!
We found the villa straightaway and were very pleased with the quality of the accommodation. Jacky was a great guy who made us feel at home and at ease.
Thank you so much for a wonderful stay in the Loft du Vigneron; we have had a wonderfully relaxing and luxurious stay. It's been lovely staying somewhere with an excellent kitchen and such well-appointed bathrooms. And the beds are exceptionally comfortable. Externally, your garden is absolutely stunning and such a fabulous surprise - we leave inspired! More than anything, it's been your warmth and generous hospitality which will stay with us.
We have used Pure France and other similar companies over many years, but I do not believe I have heard how highly rated they thought this particular property was - ever! As a result of the standard of accommodation, gardens and the local surrounding area, we are already trying to see if there is anything which can beat it for next year, especially for standards of finish and value for money (if you can recommend anything similar, please let us know)? I work in the construction industry as a design manager and can see someone has spent a lot of time and effort in getting the best out of this large old building, bringing it up to a high standard with well considered interior design - obviously the owner has considered in a lot of detail. Please pass on our thanks for being able to use the property.
Un grand merci pour votre accueil chaleureux et vos attentions tout au long de notre séjour d'une semaine. Votre propriété est un lieu vraiment merveilleux, aussi bien pour y séjourner que pour partir à la découverte de cette région de France. Les jardins offrent une agréable sensation d'espace et de sérénité ; la piscine et sa terrasse environnante sont baignées de soleil, tandis que la terrasse surélevée à l'avant de la maison est l'endroit idéal pour prendre l'apéritif, discuter et admirer la vue magnifique sur les paysages vallonnés au coucher du soleil — tout simplement parfait. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l'atmosphère et l'intimité de la cour arrière, et la cuisine d'été avec son coin détente a rendu nos repas en plein air absolument délicieux ! Un autre atout majeur de la propriété est son emplacement privilégié, qui en fait un point de chute idéal pour sillonner la région — c'est fantastique. Nous avons tous deux hâte de revenir ! We had the most wonderful week at Les Rocans last week. Please would you pass this on to the owners. We have stayed in France annually and many times in between, over the past 45 years and Les Rocans beats them all for outlook, atmosphere, amenities, beauty and suitability for our growing family. We all just loved it!
Lors de notre premier séjour en Dordogne, nous avons trouvé la Sainte Trinité du voyage : une propriété parfaite, des hôtes exceptionnels et un emplacement exceptionnel. Les propriétaires ont magnifiquement rénové la propriété en alliant architecture traditionnelle de Dordogne et décoration intérieure contemporaine, préservant ainsi le caractère de la propriété tout en offrant le confort moderne. Le gîte bénéficie d'un emplacement rural isolé et d'un accès facile (5 minutes à pied) aux deux restaurants, à la boutique et au bar de l'hôtel de Thonac. De même, la route principale qui traverse Thonac vous mène à travers la pittoresque vallée de la Vézère, avec Montignac et notre ville préférée, Saint-Léon, à seulement quelques minutes en voiture. Les villes médiévales de Sarlat, Beynac et Domme sont un peu plus éloignées, mais restent faciles d'accès. Grottes pour le canoë, troglodytes pour la randonnée et une multitude de restaurants et de bars sont facilement accessibles depuis Thonac. Vous pouvez vraiment passer toutes sortes de vacances depuis cette propriété. C'est magnifique !
We spent 2 weeks at Mas Saint-Cernin. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. John and Lesley provided excellent information before our arrival about the property, the local area and very clear travel directions. There was even a welcome basket of essentials for our breakfast on arrival. We had a fabulous time and hope to visit again.
Can't believe we have to leave our new home in Najac. The château is magnificent—striking and enormous, yet cozy and welcoming; an easy walk to the lovely village, yet splendidly private and quiet on its own hill. Amazing views, spotlessly clean, superbly equipped and with the best pool we've ever had! The only thing that matches the château and setting is the warm, attentive and super-knowledgeable welcome and help from Henrietta and her team. They helped us to make the most of our stay. Those extra-mile touches made all the difference and we really appreciated them. We loved getting to know this part of France, which seems to combine so many of the wonderful things from the more 'discovered' regions, adding a twist or 2, delivered with a smile.

It is just as fabulous here in October as it was in June. The weather was much better than we expected, and we went to a couple of new places. We love the Library and Kitchen in the main house and look forward to seeing it all complete. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality and for joining us to share our wedding anniversary lunch at La Cambuse de Saunier. We can't wait for next June, when we will again be back.
Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans votre maison confortable et charmante. Nous pouvons recommander les produits laitiers de l'agriculteur local et l'une de nos visites préférées aura été Chinon. Nous avons aussi découvert le vin de Savennières qui est un vrai régal. Nous aimerions revenir bientôt!
Je tenais à vous signaler que nous avions été ravis de notre séjour du 5 au 12 août chez cet exploitant vigneron très cordial et motivé. La maison est belle, le site très calme, les balades nombreuses, la piscine agréable.
Quel endroit merveilleux où se retrouver après un long et pénible voyage! Propriété magnifiquement aménagée. Décorée avec style et super confortable pour nous 8. Le village était magnifique et paisible. Nous avons adoré le restaurant et son poulailler ! Un énorme merci pour de merveilleuses vacances.
C'est notre troisième visite à la Villa - nous commençons à nous sentir comme à la maison ! Un autre séjour merveilleux - nous avons encore passé un très bon moment et sommes désolés de laisser la paix et la tranquillité derrière nous. Merci à Frédéric comme toujours pour l'accueil très chaleureux, toujours là en cas de besoin. Tant de souvenirs à ramener à la maison et merci de nous avoir permis de rester dans votre belle maison.

We had great week staying at this lovely house! It is in quiet, rural location and we enjoyed exploring the area, which is very pretty. Sam was a great host and showed us everything and then left us to it – but was very helpful responsive with any questions we had. There were 7 of us and the house accommodated us all very easily. It is very well equipped and everything is in good condition and works well - lots of plates, glasses, large fridge freezer with ice maker, wine and beer fridges etc! The beds were comfortable and the house has two good bathrooms/shower rooms including a spa bath! There is a great choice of terraces and outside areas (covered and open) for sitting and dining, with lots of chairs, tables and sun loungers – which far exceeded expectations. The pool, surrounding terrace and gardens are really lovely and it is very quiet and private. The table tennis table was a bonus and we had a fun afternoon kayaking on the Dordogne, too! We would have loved a few more days there!
Beautiful location with magnificent views with vines and sunflowers. Charming host. Perfect for running and walking. Good clean pool with covered area alongside so ideal for being in the shade. House very comfortable with all amenities including air con throughout.
Nous avons passé 2 semaines incroyables ici. Honnêtement, cette maison est magnifique. Les couchers de soleil ici ne ressemblent à aucun autre. Je recommanderais de visiter les producteurs de vin locaux, de faire du vélo à travers les vignobles et d'explorer la région. Nous avons également visité de nombreux marchés dans la montagne et sommes allés assister au feu d'artifice du 14 juillet. J'adorerais revenir bientôt !
Nous avons passé un moment absolument charmant. La villa est très confortable et bien équipée. La salle de gym, la grande piscine et le jardin sont fantastiques. Je donne à cette villa une note de 10 sur 10, nous reviendrons l'année prochaine.

The house is lovely, with a very calm and welcoming atmosphere - more than met our expectations. We took you at your word in regard to helping ourselves to some tomatoes and grapes from the garden - The grapes in particular were delicious - Small things, but they add to the overall enjoyment of the stay.
