We loved staying here. Domaine du Château is full of character and very comfortable. With the giant wine press in the dining room and the vines across the lane, you certainly know you are in Burgundy. We really liked the mix of antique French furniture and original contemporary art works, so nicely done. The kitchen is beautiful and really well equipped and the market in Beaune is amazing for fantastic local produce. Apart from driving through all the famous vineyards and going wine tasting, we really enjoyed visiting the château at Rochepot and the ancient market at Nolay. The countryside is very pretty and great for walking, but best of all, was just sitting drinking wine on the terrace, enjoying the wonderful view and tranquillity. We booked the Eurostar to Le Creusot which made the journey really easy and quick. You can pick 'up a hire car' at the station and then it's just a short drive down quiet country roads which felt a world away from London. Would definitely recommend!

Charming place and a charming host. Christophe was so friendly and helpful to us. The house had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. I really recommend this place as a wonderful holiday getaway.
Superbe maison spacieuse avec beaucoup d'espace pour notre famille de 6 adultes, tant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur avec une grande piscine. Conviendrait aussi à 2 familles partant en vacances ensemble. Endroit tranquille avec l'essentiel des commodités non loin à pied: supermarché, boucher, etc.. et accès facile en voiture aux villages voisins et à Béziers. Nous avons passé du bon temps ici et nous le recommanderions sans hésitation.
Mas de Clouze is a stunning, peaceful place! We had an amazing family holiday, and the setting was absolutely beautiful. We loved exploring the grounds and lounging by the pool, and eating on the patio and in the bar area was a real treat. There’s plenty to do around the gite, too - great walks, pétanque, table tennis and of course the heated swimming pool.

We returned after 3 years and so glad we did. Another fabulous time - weather not aways in our favour but didn't stop a great holiday again. Two restaurants we would recommend Le Masion Tourbes - great food, lunchtime was very busy, so get there early - very popular with the French. Saint Germain Hotel - excellent food and value. Best value kids menu we have found and adults set menu was great value and for an extra euro you can get 1/4 litre wine! Hope to return again - Love to all.
A perfect place for a family stay. A large well equipped property that is decorated with great taste. There is something for all generations both inside and out including indoor and outdoor games for children. A great television room with a large choice of DVDs for both children and adults. Magnificent garden – great for aperitifs and barbeques and a beautiful swimming pool. The house was immaculate when we arrived. Our visit was unforgettable and we will certainly be coming back.
Thanks for a lovely week in your fabulous holiday house, it was very kind of you to let us arrive early so we could easily visit the market. It was quite entertaining seeing the gendarmes trying to organise the market day traffic (and the usual bonkers French parking!) We have stayed in quite a few properties in the South of France but not managed to find somewhere that was both walking distance to a nice town and a high spec house. Yours certainly ticked both of those boxes. Especially with the weather not being on our side, we spent a lot of time in the house and really appreciated all of the luxury living area and kitchen features. The kids loved the pool (and it did stay at 26 degrees!), so we did manage to venture in almost every day, much to the amazement of some of the locals! Thanks also for all of the information and recommendations that you and Lisa sent through before and during our stay. It was very much appreciated and hugely helpful.
We just wanted to drop you a quick message to say how much we enjoyed your lovely house in France. Les Roches was a wonderful place to spend a few days relaxing, seeing something of the Southern Loire, and trying new wines. The pool, tennis courts, and gym were a big hit with the kids especially. Isabella, thank you for the personal tour of the winery, it was good to learn more about how you create your organic/low sulphite wines and the great knowledge shared while tasting a few, along with the ones we thoroughly tested during our stay The Femme Tour riding by the gates was a one off and such an amazing and friendly experience. We toasted with sparkling wine (Ampelidae of course) on the barrels set at the end of the drive as they rode past. Please say thank you to the so helpful Beada once again for her support and patience with our varied amounts of French. The ladies in the village bakery were also wonderfully cheerful each morning as we negotiated the language of French bread types. In all our joint family holidays this one got the highest score. As we watched the red sunset from the terrace on Friday, no one wanted to go home. Wishing you a good harvest in 2025 and all the best.
Quel endroit absolument incroyable ! Les propriétaires étaient extrêmement accueillants et aux petits soins pour nous durant notre séjour. Le château et son domaine invitent à la détente dès l'arrivée. On y trouve de l'espace à profusion et tout le confort nécessaire. Un lieu incontournable pour des vacances réussies.
Nous ne pouvons pas partir sans dire quel privilège se fut d'être les premiers hôtes de cette magnifique villa. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, la maison est juste parfaite. Nous avons bien visité la région, Grimaud, Port Grimaud, Saint-Maxime and Gassin - toutes méritent une visite. Nous sommes même allés faire du ski nautique et nous recommandons chaudement Adventure Sports à Saint-Tropez, qui propose plusieurs sports nautiques. Nous espérons que les prochains hôtes passeront un merveilleux séjour comme nous l'avons fait.
Château magnifique, que ce soit au niveau du cadre, du mobilier, du confort, de l'équipement. Nous avons passé un séjour parfait, avec de bonnes recommandations, un très bon accueil... Nous recommandons vivement ce lieu exceptionnel ! Merci encore à vous deux.
AMAZING! Our stay at the Loft has been our best since we started visiting this area five years ago. Relaxed, very comfortable, well equipped and spacious - it is the perfect place to return to after a day out or even from just around the corner by the pool! Karen and Russell have been a revelation in the way that they host their property. Right from our wine on arrival to booking a restaurant for us - nothing was a problem or too much trouble for them and the informative e-mails before we arrived were very handy and well-timed. They are a gem! As is their Loft and as their next venture will be. We just need another week here!
Nous avons passé deux semaines bien remplies et c'était tellement agréable de retourner dans une maison paisible et propre avec un joli jardin pour se détendre. Nous avons réservé pour revenir en 2020 et nous attendons déjà avec impatience. L'appartement est entièrement équipé avec toutes les indispensables pour un court séjour.

Tout est fantastique, la maison est encore mieux que sur les photos et on remarque l'affection qu'on lui a donnée dans les moindres détails. Il a tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin et les appareils sont de grandes marques. Nous y sommes allés avec beaucoup d'enfants et ils ont passé un bon moment. Un grand merci aux hôtes et nous espérons revenir bientôt.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour, merci beaucoup. La Maison Estèphe est spéciale. Michelle veut rester plus longtemps la prochaine fois, donc je suis sûr que nous vous recontacterons.
Merci pour votre hospitalité. Nous avons vraiment apprécié les petits déjeuners, le vin et le fromage. Le repas au Pourquoi Pas était incroyable même si nous avons vécu une aventure pour le trouver ! Beau temps dans la première moitié de la semaine mais dommage que nous ayons eu du vent et de la pluie ces derniers jours. Bon repas à la Pizzeria La Cremade à Béziers Villeneuve - à côté d'une écluse sur le Canal du Midi. Les Neuf Écluses valent également la peine d'être visitées. J'ai apprécié la plage de Sérignan. Wonderful views - such a peaceful location and adore the little village. Facilities great. Everything we needed. Would have liked larger bath towels. Amazing food - loved it. Such a treat. Thank you. We booked Château Velouse as we love the Loire region. Definitely not disappointed... the welcome from the hosts Claire and Phil was lovely, the rooms were huge in size and height, great ensuites, it can hold 16 adults plus 4 children. Loads of space in the extensive grounds which are walled and fenced, we felt very secure and great for children and our dog to explore. The large swimming pool was fantastic and spent a lot of time there lounging on luxury sun beds under the umbrellas (30C plus during our stay). We had some wonderful evening meals during our stay either outside patio area which seated us all with lovely lighting or inside in the huge dining room. As a group of family and friends we took turns to cook which was great fun and the kitchen is very well equipped to cater for a large group. We had trips out to Bourges, Sancerre and a day on a local golf course, all recommended
One week was not long enough. Fabulous house - didn't want to leave. Visit Pézenas, just wonderful and great shopping.
Absolutely stunning. We visited the house last summer and had an absolutely amazing time. The house is stunning with views over to Grasse and down toward Cannes. As a family of 5 (children 8, 5 and 12 months), it had everything we needed including a god sized pool and the interiors of the house are beautiful. It is a short drive to the local supermarket and amenities and only 20 minutes drive to the beaches of Cannes and Antibes. Nearby Mougins and Grasse provide an abundance of restaurants. A car is a must as the house is accessed up a steep road but views are spectacular. We can't wait to visit again this summer.
Thank you so much for the most amazing weeks stay in Piglet Barn. We honestly had the best time, a perfect family holiday. Thank you for being the most welcoming, warm and charming hosts, you looked after us so well. Thank you for drinks in your home, it was so much fun. We are going to miss our walks around Vouvant and morning coffee in the village. Thank you again so much for being the most amazing hosts, it was a holiday we will never forget.
