A wonderful relaxing part of our trips spent in Montsoreau, living the dream! While really enjoying the local cafe/restaurants we made great and regular contact with the local boulangerie, boucher and wine producer who are all starts of their trade. Living local in Montsoreau for 2 weeks was great fun and delicious and... the accommodation provided us with the quiet and rest we needed. Spacious and with a place to read and watch the river on the terrace. Thank you.
What a fantastic week! The house is absolutely beautiful and very well stocked, had everything we needed, particularly the outdoor area - BBQ every night! The staff could not be more helpful and we felt instantly welcome. We are going to book for next year when we get home!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Orchard Farmhouse and would have no problem recommending this beautiful house to friends and family. We liked eating on the terrace admiring the spectacular view of the Dordogne landscape. Great facilities for the children, especially in the games room. Nous avons tous adoré notre séjour chez vous, le château est vraiment magnifique. Merci.
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Dale et sa femme. Très confortables, la maison principale et le gîte peuvent accueillir 6 personnes : 3 chambres spacieuses et très belles, chacune avec sa propre salle de bain. L'espace est très vaste et les équipements sont de qualité. Le logement est rénové avec goût et tout est pensé pour vous garantir un excellent séjour. La piscine est superbe ! C'est très calme et paisible, un véritable lieu de repos et de ressourcement. Il y a de belles choses à voir dans les environs, mais avec un peu de route. Dale et sa femme sont des hôtes attentionnés, ils nous ont laissé un joli panier rempli de gourmandises à notre arrivée. Si nous en avons l'occasion, nous reviendrons avec plaisir ! Vous pouvez y aller sans hésiter !
The house was beautiful! Very characterful. Anything you need is present. Plenty to do in the surrounding areas. Contact was good and clear. This house is definitely recommended for your vacation!
It was a perfect house for our summer holiday. Beautiful village where it is located. We were really happy about it and recommend it! From there it is easy to go to Narbonne, Carcassonne or other beautiful places along the Canal du Midi. Thank you!

La Loire! Quel patrimoine impressionnant. Châteaux, abbayes, grottes - et la maison Michel est à portée de tous ces sites. Bourgueil est une ville charmante avec des plats délicieux et des vins exceptionnels. Chaque soir, nous avons apprécié la piscine. Merci Michel pour cette semaine exceptionnelle.
We have had a fabulous week. Weather brilliant. Amazing house, pool, views, olive grove. Perfect. Thank you very much for our wonderful stay in your beautiful villa. We particularly the swimming pool to cool down. We really enjoyed the surrounding scenery in which we star gazed in every evening. We really liked the films and games upstairs in the evening. Quelle belle maison! Les jardins, la vue et la piscine sont tout simplement magnifiques et nous avons passé les plus belles et les plus reposantes vacances en admirant la vue, en profitant de la magnifique piscine et du fantastique canapé, l'endroit idéal pour se détendre à l'ombre du mûrier. Marianne [la femme de ménage] a été merveilleuse - nous avons apprécié la balade en canoë sur le Dropt et la visite d'Eymet, sinon nous avons tout ce dont nous avions besoin ici!
We just wanted to thank you for the bottle of local wine and to let you know that we had a very nice time at Villa Corbières last week. Also, it worked well liasing with Ian who was welcoming and very helpful. The house is great and the garden looked really nice.

Well, we all made it and have had the best time. This year we have certainly made use of the pool - even Chris! We have had some splendid lunches out and have found yet more restaurants and generally had a very enjoyable and relaxing time. As ever, we thank you for your wonderful hospitality. We can’t wait to be back - Chris and I are coming back in October when we hope it won’t be quite so hot!
Fabulous week learning about wine in an amazing setting. Manoir Lemance is the most wonderful, tranquil and stylish place I have stayed in France and I have stayed in many. The owners have taken great care and attention in restoring the beautiful buildings, choosing the internal furnishings and creating the amazing swimming pool and grounds. We were warmly welcomed and looked after really well all week. The local area is full of amazing villages, great vineyards and beautiful countryside. If you are looking for a very French holiday with the added support of English speaking hosts, in the most beautiful setting, then this is the place for you.
Many thanks for arranging our rental of Le Chambarru in Blauzac, it is a tremendous house and we had a very good holiday with our friends from the USA. We enjoyed meeting the owners.

Our stay at La Petite Maison Générille was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the heart of Castelnaud-la-Chapelle, this charming haven blends old-world elegance with soul-warming hospitality. The hosts are the heart of this home. Their graciousness, attention to detail, and open-hearted kindness transformed our visit into something unforgettable. One evening, as we enjoyed a glass of wine on the terrace, hot air balloons floateo across the distant sky - the kind of moment that lingers long after you've returned home. The rooms are exquisite-thoughtfully designed, impeccably clean, and filled with the kind of character that photographs simply can't capture. It's the kind of place where time slows down and you're gently reminded of what it means to truly relax. We came to La Petite Maison Générille as travelers... and left with new friends and a piece of this village etched into our hearts. We cannot wait to return!
Stayed at this villa in June 2024. It has been finished to an exacting standard, and is open and airy. The views are spectacular. Everything you need for a relaxing stay - plenty of areas outside to either soak up the rays or sit in the shade. The alfresco dining area was used all day. The owners have left their paintings and sculptures in the house which gives is a very unique feel. It's incredible, will return in 2025!
Notre séjour au Château Bellevue n'aurait pas pu être plus agréable et plus confortable. Le mobilier était magnifique, les chambres très spacieuses et la vue sur le parc très reposante et paisible. À proximité, vous trouverez le glamour et l'effervescence de Biarritz, tandis que la belle ville de Bayonne offre de superbes boutiques et de fabuleux restaurants. Le feu de bois était un vrai régal pour des soirées conviviales. Le court de tennis et la piscine font du château un véritable lieu de villégiature où vous pourrez vous détendre avant de vous rendre compte que vous devriez peut-être explorer un peu plus la campagne environnante, les villes et les plages mondialement connues.

Nous sommes déjà venus il y a quelques années. Rien n'a beaucoup changé entre ces murs, autour de Duras ou en France. Frédéric est toujours aussi serviable. Constamment disponible pour de l'aide. Nous attendons avec impatience chaque visite, en fonction de la disponibilité (de la villa et de la nôtre). Merci encore d'avoir permis cette nouvelle visite et à l'équipe dévouée qui prépare et nettoie en préparation. Cela est très apprécié.
C'était notre toute première location de vacances et elle a placé la barre très haut. De notre arrivée à l'accueil chaleureux et convivial de nos hôtes (Katerina et Stephen) jusqu'à notre départ, toujours aussi chaleureux et convivial, nous n'aurions pas pu rêver mieux pour ce long séjour. Le gîte est très bien aménagé et d'une taille idéale pour un couple. Il offrait tous les équipements nécessaires pour que nos deux semaines se sentent comme à la maison et offrait un espace confortable pour nous déplacer. La piscine est également excellente et témoigne du soin apporté par nos hôtes à la perfection de la décoration. L'emplacement, dans la vallée de la Vézère, est idéal pour visiter les nombreuses attractions de la région : grottes préhistoriques, grottes de stalagmites et de stalactites, maisons fortes, magnifiques châteaux et tant de villages pleins de charme. Nous avons même fait une descente de 12 km en canoë sur la Vézère, ce qui nous a permis de découvrir la vallée sous un angle différent. Même si nous aimons visiter différents endroits, il y a de fortes chances que nous y revenions !
