The highlights for me were swimming lengths in the warm pool, strolling around the beautiful garden with all the different types of trees (olive, fig, pomegranate etc) and exploring the delightful surrounding Provence countryside in its full glory. Despite being a large group of people, the house always felt cool and spacious and the amenities functioned perfectly. There is also a marvellous restaurant within walking distance. Thank you again for making my holiday so enjoyable.

Merci pour ce agréable séjour au Mas des Rivailles. Notre famille de cinq personnes y a séjourné pendant deux semaines en août 2023 et nous avons passé un très bon moment. Il est très spacieux et moderne, avec toutes les commodités nécessaires pour un séjour confortable. La température de la piscine était parfaite et nous avons trouvé l'eau salée assez agréable. Les transats et l'aménagement de la piscine permettent des moments de détente au bord de la piscine et nous avons apprécié particulièrement la très grande salle de jeux avec table de ping-pong, billard et baby-foot ainsi que de nombreux jouets pour nos trois enfants. Les chambres étaient propres et équipées de draps de qualité et de serviettes moelleuses ainsi que d'un espace de rangement suffisant pour nos affaires. La buanderie/cellier était également très utile pour stocker de la nourriture et laver nos vêtements facilement. Frédéric était serviable et attentif comme toujours et a rendu notre séjour très confortable, faisant venir des ventilateurs supplémentaires lorsque nous en avons fait la demande, car notre séjour coïncidait avec une vague de chaleur. La famille du propriétaire qui vit dans la ferme voisine était très sympathique et serviable et a répondu à tous nos problèmes. L'emplacement de la maison est également idéal pour explorer la région avec de nombreuses villes et activités intéressantes à quelques minutes en voiture. Nous le recommanderons certainement ! We have stayed in some lovely properties in France, but this has to be the very best. We appreciated everything you both so generously provided to make our stay so very comfortable. Right from the moment we arrived we felt welcome. We enjoyed our visits to Carcassonne, Narbonne and Minerve, and our boat trip on the Canal du Midi from Capestang and our trip to the Abbeye de Fontfroide. We had a superb meal in Restaurant d'Alibert in Caunes Minervois. Thank you so much for everything. We have had such a lovely fortnight and will miss this haven of beauty, peace and comfort for quite sometime. We hope to visit again - it sure is tough to leave here.
Hi future guest, The couple who own the property have poured so much love into every corner of the beautiful. home that you can feel it when you stay there. The place is so much more cosy and beautifully designed than the pictures give the impression. During our stay we said we wanted to listen to music and asked if there were speakers onsite. Karen and Russell said there wasn't but then went out and bought a pair for us to use! At one point we were cooking and I borrowed some olive oil, curry powder and a chilli pepper. I wanted to get a guitar and they told me where a fabulous music shop was and I ended up purchasing a beautiful guitar. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we felt beyond welcome. The place is a bit like a fairytale place, and they made our stay beyond what we imagined. It is an oasis and a sanctuary and close to many nearby sites such as Château de Rene and others. Highly recommend staying here.
What can we say! This is our third holiday at Le Malardier. We absolutely ove it. Our version of paradise.
We really enjoyed our stay at Manoir Bellevigne. It is a lovely property.
What a beautiful location, breathtaking. A very warm welcome, you feel at home because of the fine reception. The hosts help you with everything you could want. The gîte is also spick and span and meets all your needs. Had a very relaxing holiday. Exactly as it should be! We recommend it to everyone and will definitely come here again.
A beautiful property in a nice quiet location but still close to many interesting places to visit. The bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable and there was a lovely covered eating area outside. We also really loved the pool. We especially enjoyed canoeing on the Dordogne and visiting Domme and Le Jardin Marqueyssac. We also left something behind which Victoire kindly sent on to us.

Le Malardier est exquis. Il est bien plus qu'une simple maison de vacances. Chaque pièce donne envie de pénétrer à l'intérieur. La maison a été restaurée avec beaucoup de soin et est clairement le résultat d'un travail fait avec amour. Richard et Gay étaient également des hôtes parfaits et n'auraient pas pu mieux nous accueillir. Si vous envisagez de réserver une semaine ou deux au Malardier, faites-le. Vous ne serez pas déçu.
We thought this was the perfect setting for our extended family holiday. We had long lazy days by the pool, some nice days out to the bastide towns and alfresco dinners followed by games We rescued several frogs from the pool! There were plenty of distractions in the house for every age and we found the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Fabulous weather for two birthday celebrations and we found it to be a very peaceful and idyllic setting. Amazing house! We all made amazing memories and had a great time.
We very much enjoyed our stay in La Forge. Quiet and charming gite with swimming pool in a small, rural village surrounded by beautiful countryside and interesting places to visit. A very helpful yet discreet proprietor, living close by, who was only too happy to help with any questions we had. Highly recommended.

Une vieille bâtisse dans un lieu un peu isolé où il règne une tranquillité et un calme voulue. Une maison décorée avec beaucoup de goût ! Une piscine ensoleillée du matin au soir idéale pour se détendre et bronzer avec juste un coin d'ombre où il fait bon se poser et profiter. Des hôtes discrets, agréables et aux petits soins pour ses invités !

Merci de nous avoir proposé cette belle villa de vacances. Nous y avons passé un moment fabuleux et pensons que la villa est charmante.
Nous avons passé deux semaines merveilleuses aux Hirondelles, une si belle maison, avec tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin, et Cédric a été très serviable ! Nous sommes allés aux marchés de Narbonne (dimanche), de Capestang (mercredi), avons nagé dans la mer à Gruissan Plage, visité les abbayes de Narbonne, l'abbaye de Fontfroide - magnifique - et un fabuleux déjeuner dans un restaurant à La Grasse. Le bar de Canet est sympa, la pizzeria fait de bonnes pizzas (y compris à emporter) et il y a des magasins. A Raissac, il y a du pain et des croissants à la coopérative le matin et il y a une cave à vin à Canet ouverte tous les jours de 11h à 12h - remplissez votre contenant en plastique ! Nous avons dîné au Somail, des tapas et quelque chose de nature - tous deux très bons ! Je ne m'en souviens plus mais j'espère que vous apprécierez vos vacances autant que nous ! Merci Cédric !
This beautifully maintained property is less than two hours outside of Paris. We never wanted to leave the grounds, there is everything to keep the kids happy: miles to run, pool, tennis and playhouse. We adults lazed all day by the pool while the children run happy and wild on the enclosed grounds. The owner gave us wonderful recommendations for off the beaten path wine tastings. Make sure she shows you the mill across the stream where they make the best croissants and bread. The layout of the château allows for several families to enjoy a vacation together, while maintaining peaceful, private moments. Best family vacation ever.
Nous voulions juste vous remercier pour ce beau séjour au château Périgord. Tout était superbe… une propriété remarquable joliment sise dans la magnifique campagne. Nous y avons passé un merveilleux séjour!
Nous passons nos vacances dans cette région depuis plus de 30 ans et c'est sans aucun doute l'un des endroits les plus spéciaux où nous ayons séjourné. Nous prévoyons d'y retourner l'été prochain !
Nous prenons nos vacances en France toutes régions confondues depuis 12 ans. Ce gîte est dans les deux premiers. Les installations et l'emplacement sont idéaux. Nous avons passé des vacances très reposantes. Merci beaucoup. Le meilleur temps de tous les temps !
It is beautiful spot... We loved the pool and the views and wild-life spotting. We would recommend Poltrot as a beautiful spot for food and a paddle in the river, Grottes de Villars is well worth a visit with kids to see the cave paintings. Aubeterre and Brantôme beautiful.
Belle maison, bel endroit dans un excellent emplacement pour nous permettre de revisiter nos endroits préférés dans la région. Le meilleur restaurant sur des kilomètres est La Maison à Tourbes. Merci beaucoup.

Your house is absolutely astonishing - out of this world. A taste of life in a château. It is a remarkable achievement to have restored the buildings. Thank you for the generous gift of food on arrival.
L'endroit est absolument magnifique, les photos ne lui rendent pas suffisamment justice. Le terrain est spacieux, il y a un immense jardin avec tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin en termes de piscine, barbecue, aire de jeux, etc. Vous avez votre propre allée et un parking couvert.

Nous avons passé une semaine fantastique à Sarlat et ses environs. Le lieu idéal pour des vacances en famille. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les jardins d'Eyrignac et de Marqueyssac, mais il y avait tellement de choses à faire et à voir ici. Le Bistro De L'Octroi, en face, est fantastique.
