Spacious, comfortable and stylish. The house has a super atmosphere. It’s really spacious, tastefully decorated and very well equipped. The beds are comfortable and the bedrooms and bathrooms have all you need. The pool was spotless and such a treat that it’s just yours to use. The house sits very near to the village. Just a couple of minutes walk to the Square and the little market that seems to visit every Saturday and on two other days too. You can get all you need from there or from the little super market nearby. The terrace was fab for eating our meals outside and just off the kitchen. Bbq worked well too. Over all it was definitely a 10 out of 10 stay. The owners have thought of everything. We really loved the enormous wall hangings.

Thank you for a wonderful stay! The house and views are gorgeous. We loved visiting Saint-Clar, Condom and off course Lectoure, which has everything you could wish for including the fantastic spa. What a relaxing treat!
Un soleil radieux pour nous toute la semaine. Nous avons passé un agréable moment à explorer. Les enfants se sont fait passer pour Raiponce à la Maison Baleyssagues et ont passé une merveilleuse journée au Lac de Lougratte. J'ai fait du jogging dans les vignes et aux abords, ce qui était étonnamment épuisant. Nous avons peut-être tous mangé trop de croissants ? Merci pour cette semaine formidable dans un cadre magnifique.
Stunning retreat Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed our time in your gorgeous home. We all spent hours in the pool and visited the neighbouring vineyard for some delicious rose, Corinne's daughter Chloe served up some fantastic food and Isabelle looked after the kids while we escaped two nights. It really is a stunning retreat.
Our week at Maison Charvin from Arlo, the family dog. My family thinks that Maison Charvin is simply beautiful: opulently furnished, exquisitely decorated. More of a château than a maison. That said, my mummy says it’s not pretentious but cosy and homely, much appreciated on the unusually slightly chilly and windy days for part of our stay. The pool has provided instant relief for my family when the weather has been hot and sunny. My human brothers’ favourite space is the very relaxing courtyard where my mummy and I have dozed off on numerous occasions! My daddy has very much enjoyed reading many books from the vast collection. The house is deceptively large, providing ample chilling space for everyone, including me after a hot day in the sun. We enjoyed visiting Trebes (on the Canal), Carcassonne, Lagrasse and the dog-friendly beach in Narbonne. My family enjoyed the pizza which they ordered from the pizza van by the church on Thursday late afternoon. They also had baguettes and pastries (ordered in advance) from Aurelien at Vins de Dagne.
Idyllic place. Very peaceful break had by all. Garlin is a lovely village. Great bakery for fresh bread and the essential Ecomarket. All in all, great location - awesome house that's been fitted out to a very high standard throughout and a wonderful, unspoilt part of France that we'd never been to before.
Nous avons séjourné dans cette villa à Cagnes-sur-Mer et je voulais juste dire que nous avons passé de superbes vacances. La villa était absolument parfaite avec tout ce dont nous pouvions avoir besoin. Elle est idéalement située si vous ne voulez pas louer de voiture car les magasins, les restaurants, les plages et la gare ne sont qu'à 5-10 minutes à pied. Nous recommanderions certainement cette villa.
Avons séjourné à plusieurs reprises dans cette superbe maison, tres bien aménagée, la piscine est top et la vue à couper le souffle. Ce petit village vaut le detour.
I had a great stay at Le Mas de Combet with a group of 9 adults and 2 infants as we were attending a wedding nearby at Chateau de St Paul (c. 10 - 15 minutes drive) The house was clean, well equipped and very peaceful and private. The villa is remote so a car is definitely required but it's a beautiful setting with wonderful views of the countryside and the pool was well used during our stay! We had a couple of days of rain but the house is so comfortable and has plenty of space for indoor and outdoor entertaining. One small note was that there is no soap, shower gel or shampoo provided as described on the listing but that was a very minor inconvenience which was easily resolved. Dermod, our contact was extremely helpful and responsive and even personally arranged a lift for one of our party back from the wedding venue (thanks to Patricia!). Thanks for a great stay - we would definitely recommend!
Thank you for such a relaxing holiday. You have put a lot of thought into the house and it was a great, lovely place to stay. Favourite Moment: Finding the bat in the umbrella by the pool! Every afternoon! Places We Recommend: Allo Canoës, Brantôme, Ribérac Market.
Spacious and beautiful house and grounds. Shaded areas a welcome balance. Very child and baby friendly. Lovely pool. Everything thought of and provided for a 3 generation family. Toys / DVDs / Books perfectly stocked. Playroom and comfortable seating a huge bonus. The WII very much appreciated! Food delicious and in perfect quantities. Very helpful to have options - prepared and / or catered. Thoughtful and considerate catering for children.

Stunning, really well maintained and clean. Feels very safe for our young family. Very well-thought-through facilities for an inter-generational group. Great use of pool, playroom, BBQ, dining areas. Delicious and varied menu enjoyed by all. Good interaction with hosts; always available (even with chocolates!). Thoroughly enjoyed the trip and hope to return.

As I suspected when first shown around the Loft du Vigneron, we are going to find it hard to leave. The accommodation is truly first class, and you have been wonderful hosts. Thank you for all your suggestions of places to visit - we all have different highlights, but for Franklin it was the food market in Narbonne. All in all, a perfect holiday! We very much hope to see you (and Mack and Mabel) again.

“Quelles vacances fantastiques nous avons passées dans la belle maison de Debbie et Rupert! La maison était si belle et confortable et si bien située à côté des vignes. La famille s'est tellement amusée au bord de la piscine et a également réussi à s'aventurer dans les magnifiques villages environnants. Debbie et Rupert étaient si accueillants que nous avons même fini par rester quelques jours de plus ! Nous nous sommes définitivement fait de nouveaux amis formidables et nous avons hâte de revenir !
A fantastically relaxing 2 weeks. The house and pool are perfect and Hugh and Ian couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. We've already booked for next year and can't wait to get back here.
Pete was a great host and made us all feel really welcome from the start. We made full use of the wonderful pool. Ella (6) learnt to swim without armbands by the end of our week and Dhilan (4) spent more time in the water than anyone. We had a slow-paced week which suited us perfectly, but did enjoy Chateau Castelnaud with the kids and market day in Monflanquin, especially the Loubet seller.
Went to this beautiful holiday cottage for the second time. What a great experience again this time. We were warmly welcomed and our house felt like coming home again. Host and hostess Leo and Esther gave us great tips so that our holiday became a great experience again. The visit to Nîmes was impressively beautiful. I especially recommend visiting Avignon to everyone with its beautiful center and the cozy terraces around the market square. The swimming pool overlooking the vineyards is a pearl. The silence descends on you wonderfully in the evening. Truly unique. Thank you for another great holiday.
Nous avons passé une semaine fantastique à la Maison Charvin et à Montlaur. Gâtés avec une maison si merveilleuse et pleine de caractère avec tant d'espace et une cuisine remplie de tout ce que l'on peut imaginer. Voyageant avec nos trois jeunes enfants, la maison et son emplacement ont fourni une base idéale pour des vacances remplies de souvenirs. Merci Sharon d'avoir partagé votre belle maison et d'avoir fourni d'excellentes suggestions de visites dans la région. Les points forts de notre séjour ont été des croissants et des baguettes fraîchement cuits à quelques minutes de notre porte, un déjeuner à Lagrasse et la découverte de la rivière et la baignade avec les enfants, le marché hebdomadaire de Montlaur où nous avons acheté des produits locaux, des fromages et des pizzas fraîchement préparées pour nos enfants : Le Dinosaur Park en Meze suivi d'un déjeuner dans le village balnéaire de Marseillan - nous vous recommandons vivement de déjeuner à La Parcheline. Merci pour un séjour très calme et relaxant.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Orchard Farmhouse and would have no problem recommending this beautiful house to friends and family. We liked eating on the terrace admiring the spectacular view of the Dordogne landscape. Great facilities for the children, especially in the games room. Le havre de paix idéal pour notre famille C'était notre premier séjour en Charente et nous avons été ravis de La Charmante Distillerie. C'était l'idéal pour mes grands-parents, avec ses chambres au rez-de-chaussée et un accès facile de plain pied à une belle terrasse et à la piscine. Le gîte est situé en forêt et la vue est imprenable. L'accent mis sur le développement durable était appréciable, notamment les nombreux arbres fruitiers et les herbes aromatiques pour la cuisine. Mark a été d'une grande aide pour tous les détails et a été d'un grand secours avec ses recommandations et ses connaissances locales. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter et nous le recommandons vivement pour une escapade paisible.

An absolute gem of a house! We came here for a fortnight with a mixture of friends, family and even a cricket team (touring France). And we had the most delightful stay. It really feels like a luxurious home from home, with lovely comfortable furniture, beautiful spacious grounds, a first rate tennis court and pool and a beautiful 'bolet' (veranda) on which to sit and enjoy the local wine… Highly recommended!
Nous venons de passer un séjour des plus relaxants dans un gîte 5 étoiles de premier ordre. À notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis par les propriétaires Mark et Gary, charmants et attentionnés, qui nous ont offert un panier de bienvenue et un réfrigérateur à boissons, une attention toute particulière. Le gîte est joliment décoré et mérite amplement ses 5 étoiles. La piscine et la terrasse sont équipées de tout le nécessaire, avec un coin salon et repas, ainsi qu'une cuisine d'été avec barbecue et plancha. C'est un endroit paisible et tranquille où séjourner et nous reviendrons sans hésiter.
