Wonderful. It felt very safe for the little ones who enjoyed being able to roam free. Very well maintained and everything well thoughout. Perfect set up - a real home from home! We had everything we needed. The pool was a hit with adults and kids alike. The canapés were articularly good and greatly appreciated, they were tailored for a dietary requirements. Briliant week.
We are all having the most idyllic time here in your beautiful home - it is just perfect and so beautifully and tastefully presented - the weather is incredible and the pool in full use - we have visited Ilsle sur la Sourgue, Châteauneuf du Pap and the surrounding villages which are all charming - so all very well!
We have had a wonderful time at your villa, whilst the UK shivered and got rained on, we have been exploring the locality. The villa was everything it claimed to be and much more, our best choice so far in Languedoc. A wonderful holiday!
Comme les locataires précédents, nous avons apprécié le calme, la piscine, le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse avec la jolie vue sur les vignes et la garrigue. Nous avons particulièrement été sensibles aux nombreuses attentions de bienvenue de la propriétaire et sommes ravis d'avoir fait la connaissance de Marie et de sa famille, des"gardiens" au top! Ravis de notre séjour.
Une demeure fantastique à la frontière de la Dordogne et du Bordelais. La maison et le jardin étaient magnifiques. C'est une "demeure" plutôt qu'une location et nous avons adoré ça. Il y a tout ce dont vous avez besoin et une agréable sensation de chaleur. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour de 4 semaines ici. Les gérants de la maison étaient fantastiques et nous étions très tristes de nous dire au revoir. Ils nous ont donné plein de bons conseils sur les endroits à découvrir. Le lac Jemaye, la fête gastronomique du Pizou, les marchés locaux, le canoë près de Montpon, le magasin de la ferme locale qui vendait du lait directement de la laiterie, etc. Ce qui nous a marqué a été la dégustation de vins autour de Pomerol et de Saint-Émilion - nous avons fini par faire trois journées de dégustation de vins ! St Emillion est vraiment l'un des plus beaux villages que vous puissiez espérer visiter. C'est le point zéro du vin et il est chargé d'histoire. Le château nous manque terriblement. J'espère qu'un jour nous reviendrons.
We have at last found paradise in a place we could all share. Thank you for sharing this beautiful, peaceful house. The countryside for early morning sun, endless swim day and night. The bird watching and the lazing in the shade. We had great fun wine tasting locally and having been blessed with stunning weather we have had long al fresco meal every day. I think we have made the most of all the games and puzzles inside and out and no TV! À bientôt!
We had such a grat time here! We are only sorry that our stay wasn't longer. The children loved the house and especially the swimming pool. Hopefully we will be back!

Thanks for a truly wonderful week. The house, garden and pool are really fabulous. We had a wonderfully relaxing time and didn't do as much exploring as we should have done as we couldn't tear ourselves away from the garden / pool. Don't miss Friday evening in Pézenas with the high street market, food, wine and music.
Such a beautiful and luxurious home. a perfect layout, wonderful pol and relaxation area. We spent 10 days playing golf, as such it was perfect. The holiday home had eveything we needed and more and particularly liked the artwork. Thank you once again.
We have had a wonderful week at Château du Pic de Rigaud and enjoyed every minute! The weather has got better and better and we've had perfect days by the pool. The château has been incredibly comfortable and provided everything we needed. We have enjoyed exploring Najac including the Wednesday evening market. Thank you to Henrietta and Peter for all your help and bookings. We will miss this wonderful house and grounds and our morning walks to the Boulangerie. We hope to return.
Cédric, another wonderful holiday in your beautiful villa. We enjoyed it so much, with trips towards Narbonne, the Canal du Midi, Pézenas, Gruissan for the stage 16 of the Tour de France, as well as lots of time in the fantastic pool! you wer a great host, showing us your new wine cellar (I didn't drink all the wine!) and telling us your plans to make the house even better. Nous avons passé un moment des plus merveilleux dans votre charmante maison. Bien que nous n'étions que 4, nous avons profité au maximum de l'espace extérieur disponible, mangeant chaque repas dans une partie différente, en suivant l'ombre. Vous avez été les hôtes les plus parfaits et nous espérons vous revoir un jour.
Thank you so much for your hospitality and warm welcome. The property is beautiful and was the perfect place to spend our time before our wedding.
Very easy decision to come back again next year, after spending a great couple of weeks here. Mas de Lozanne has an excellent outdoor area – large pool, a terrace that's in the shade all day, 2 hammocks and ample space for table tennis and badminton. All the facilities work well, inc the Wi-Fi and especially the air conditioning which is not only very effective but remarkably quiet. Plus Ina and Dominic (both English speakers) are only a text away to come and help if something goes wrong. The house itself is classic, roomy French farmhouse equipped with all mod cons – comfy lounge with all the British freeview channels, high ceilings and picture postcard views from the bedroom windows. And on top of all that is its brilliant location – there's a 10 minute leisurely walk through a vineyard into the beautiful old historic town of Pézenas.
We have really enjoyed our stay at Le Manoir des Sines. It really is a stunning property.
It’s hard to know where to begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. Your property is so well set up and we made good use of the barbecue, tennis court, boules, darts, table tennis and of course, the pool which beats all other swimming pools we’ve ever had on holiday... and the shady areas when the sun got just that bit too hot. So much thought has obviously gone into it all and it made our holiday very special. The four teenage grandchildren we had with us had a ball and we all loved the Lot countryside, its villages and the sunflowers. How can you not be happy when you’ve got fields of them within a few steps from your door? The two Marches Gourmands we went to at Tournon and Saux were brilliant fun - the food on offer at Saux was particularly good and Tournon is such a pretty place. Our daughter loved going for early morning runs, seeing a hare and on two occasions, a deer, amongst sunflowers. Swimming in the Lot, cycling and canoeing are all on our list of favourite things we did. We also have a great picture of three of the red squirrels on the tree near the bolet - what a brilliant place for breakfast. Thank you so very much from all of us. Je tenais à vous signaler que nous avions été ravis de notre séjour du 5 au 12 août chez cet exploitant vigneron très cordial et motivé. La maison est belle, le site très calme, les balades nombreuses, la piscine agréable.
A lovely family house beautifuly equipped Immaculate property, all the bedrooms are great with the addition of air con in the master bedroom, great kitchen, bathrooms and perfect showers! British TV to keep the kids entertained. The pool area is sheltered and a real sun trap! Our favourite time was BBQ in the evening on the first floor terrace with beautiful views . Very convenient for a stroll onto the pretty village with bars restaurants and lovely markets. Superb unspoilt beaches only 20 minutes away. Highly recommend going into Narbonne only half an hour away, you must visit the indoor food market.

We spent 10 days with 8 people (children, grandchildren ) and our dog in À Côté de L'O. The summer heat was well tolerated thanks to the pool and air conditioning. The space is even more generous than it appears on the photos. A huge fenced garden right on the Canal. Narbonne, Gruissan, Bages... many beautiful experiences are easy to reach by car. The location in beautiful Le Somail. The early morning round for dog bathing at the Cesse. Shopping fresh croissants and baguettes on the Épicerie - boat. All in all : perfect!
Nous avons eu l'opportunité de séjourner dans cette belle villa pendant plusieurs semaines chaque été pendant 8 ans. Nous revenons toujours dans cette maison spéciale située à distance de marche des restaurants et boutiques de la charmante Valbonne. Mes deux filles ont grandi été après été et, à chaque fois, le propriétaire a fait des ajustements appropriés pour rendre notre séjour encore meilleur. La vue et les coins salons extérieurs sont spectaculaires. Les chambres sont bien aménagées. Nous attendons toujours avec impatience ce voyage et espérons pouvoir continuer.
As soon as I saw the house I just loved it. Then as I walked inside, the house wrapped itself around me. I loved all the rustic charm. The views were calming and cows a pleasure to watch. You could say I felt at home.

This is my second visit to the beautiful ‘Rusty Shears gite’ hosted by Kirstie and Russell. From the outset our stay was just perfect. We were made very welcome and even had welcome drinks upon arrival. This was a special visit for my mums birthday and Kirstie even baked a cake, which was absolutely delicious. The gite is immaculately presented and the interior is simply gorgeous, with sumptuous cushions, uniquely bespoke painted furniture and house plants that compliment the gite’s luxurious eclectic style. The outside space is perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine and listening to the nature that surrounds the outside space. They have thought of everything; an outside eating area, complete with overhead sails to stay in the shade, corner sofa area complete with parasol to stay in or out of the shade, a bbq area with small outside prep area, hot tub and even 4 sun loungers. The location is set in the countryside so expect to drive or cycle to the local vineyards and restaurants but rest assured Kirstie and Russell can recommend plenty of places of interest and even arrange cycle hire or restaurant bookings if preferred. All in all a really tranquil long weekend away that offered us plenty of tasty local food, vineyard visits, rest and relaxation in the sunshine. If you’re an animal lover then you’ll also appreciate Kirstie’s love of animals too and if you’re lucky you’ll get to taste a freshly laid egg from ’Cluckingham palace!’ A truly wonderful space and warm welcome that will encourage you to return. A gem of a holiday find - we will definitely be going back soon! Thank you Kirstie and Russell for your hospitality during our stay at Rusty Shears gite and for making great memories!
