Foreign and familiar. Grand and intimate. Giving us frivolity and solitude. Château La Roche-Posay had given us exactly what we needed. The host made our stay all the more enjoyable with the perfect amount of attention. Thank you for helping us to open our eyes to a beautiful part of France!

Mas de Clouze is a stunning, peaceful place! We had an amazing family holiday, and the setting was absolutely beautiful. We loved exploring the grounds and lounging by the pool, and eating on the patio and in the bar area was a real treat. There’s plenty to do around the gite, too - great walks, pétanque, table tennis and of course the heated swimming pool.
Belle propriété, région incroyable, tout simplement parfaite pour des vacances des plus fantastiques ! La rénovation a été effectuée de manière exquise et nous y reviendrons très certainement. Matthieu a été un manager fantastique. Nous ne voulons pas rentrer à la maison !
Nous avons tellement apprécié notre semaine dans votre belle maison et votre jardin. Merci d'avoir recommandé le château et les jardins de Villandry - nous l'avons adoré et ce lieu vaut la peine d'être visité. L'abbaye de Fontevraud était intéressante et située dans un joli coin.

Where can we begin to tell you how wonderful your warmth and kindness have made our holiday so special at your beautiful Le Chambarru. Your renovations and thoughtful kitchen cooking utensils have such taste and quality that we all enjoyed cooking. The location has proven geographical delight. Nous venons de rentrer d'un merveilleux séjour de 3 semaines à La Fontaine. Votre propriété est située dans un endroit si magnifique et tranquille et vous l'avez décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Nous avons également apprécié que vous fassiez tellement confiance aux personnes qui le louent. De plus, nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'aide de Marjorie et Dave pour quelques problèmes mineurs. De toute évidence, nous sommes maintenant soumis aux restrictions de quarantaine du Royaume-Uni, mais nous pensons que c'est un petit prix à payer pour le beau séjour que nous avons passé. Merci beaucoup pour nous avoir donné l'opportunité de séjourner à La Fontaine.
Very high end, luxurious with every amenity, wonderful location in the vines and countryside and yet near everything.
We have absolutely loved our stay here. The house, the pool, the garden, the position and the privacy are all spot on. Lisa and Wayne have been great - helpful and discreet at the same time. Many thanks and look forward to a future visit.
Nous avons essayé de venir pendant 6 ans, mais finalement nous l'avons fait et cela valait la peine d'attendre. Les propriétaires étaient très gentils et serviables. Ont offert de super fromages, du vin, des livraisons tôt le matin. Et tout ça avant même d'évoquer la belle maison :) Tout était incroyable sauf la canicule, 42°C (ouf !) mais la piscine nous a sauvé, elle était super aussi. Un grand merci pour le plein de super souvenirs.
Thank you both for the most wonderful stay at your beautiful villa. We’ve had the most incredible week exploring the South of France – an area we love – and discovering new places. This spot is extremely special and we’ve relished the relaxing days and evenings spent here (made even more special by the sighting of a wild boar with babies and your marvellous set up for the gorgeous cats) – thank you for showing us this! The secluded spot, surrounded by woodland, an aromatic and fragrant garden attracting many butterflies, a beautiful pool and terrace area is somewhere we won’t forget and would love to come back to. Everything has been thought of at this place which makes it so homely. Everything from kitchen utensils and supplies to the BBQ, bowls and the TV set-up – the place has it all. You have both been such friendly and discrete hosts, allowing us such privacy and the personality you have stamped on the place (from plants, to artwork and sculptures as well as the lovely cats) makes this space so full of character too. Thanks again and we wish you both the best – hopefully we’ll return in the future!

It has been a great pleasure meeting you both and staying with you. We thoroughly enjoyed our first evening with you both and learning a little about the area. What you have done with your property is truly magnificent despite the artisans! We enjoyed following your recommendations for places to visit and have navigated our way through the vineyards - thank you for our adventures! We went to Narbonne and saw synchronized kite flying that was really exciting to watch. We will really miss the gardens and pool. Au revoir.

Nous avons passé des vacances fantastiques dans la propriété et, pour être tout à fait honnêtes, nous ne voulions pas partir. L'esprit maussade, nous repensons à nos clichés de vacances en souhaitant ne pas être retournés dans le sombre temps anglais, mais à nous trouver assis dans la glorieuse véranda! Votre hospitalité était incomparable et toutes les vacances sans faute.
A wonderful fortnight of celebrations for friends and all our family (17!) for Mike’s 70th Birthday! The manor was the perfect place for us all — so big and comfortable and so much to do. What a gem it is! Thank you so much for allowing us to come again. We have made some amazing memories!

We loved our stay at this lovely Domaine, Today is our last day, and we’re leaving in pain. We really had the nicest time, Especially our cozy get-togethers with lots of good wine. The days have flown by, but there’s no need to cry, We will always remember Karen’s wonderful pie.

Nous venons dans le sud de la France depuis plus de 20 ans, et la Maison Theron est le meilleur hébergement que nous ayons connu. La décoration, le mobilier et la literie étaient d'une telle qualité que nous avions l'impression de séjourner dans un hôtel de charme ! La personne chargée de l'entretien a fait un travail remarquable : la maison était d'une propreté impeccable à notre arrivée. Un grand merci, nous reviendrons sans aucun doute !

Thank you so much for the most incredible week, we have made so many memories. Everything about the house has been perfect, such an easy space to relax in. Perfect! Our stay in the L’Ancienne Etable was 5 star. Jane and Richard have thought of everything to make this the perfect pad for two. Peaceful and relaxing, we would highly recommend and hope to return again soon.

Château La Roche-Posay is a very special place. The gite is super comfy and well appointed, with fantastic views over the river Creuse. Definitely worthy of its five star rating. Laura and Ian are highly professional, experienced chateau hosts who know how to look after their guests.
