Amazing! is the word. The Loft itself, you as hosts and the location. Our week has been wonderful and made all the better due to the exceptional care and attention you both put into this special place. Your warmth and hospitality exceeds expectations - we cannot thank you enough. We will look forward to returning to continue exploring.
A beautiful house which we have enjoyed, lovely to swim in the pool, enjoy the views and sunshine. Very well equipped kitchen much appreciated, we shall return.
Nous avons passé de superbes vacances à La Distillerie : le plus beau gîte où nous ayons séjourné, et un cadre idéal pour profiter de la campagne française. La propriété est joliment décorée, d'une propreté irréprochable et bien équipée avec tout le nécessaire. Mark et Gary sont des hôtes exceptionnels et nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous dès notre arrivée, grâce à leur accueil chaleureux et à leur hospitalité généreuse tout au long de notre séjour. Nous recherchions un séjour paisible et relaxant, et La Distillerie nous convenait parfaitement. La piscine, la terrasse et le jardin sont magnifiques, avec une vue imprenable sur la campagne environnante. De charmants villages sont également accessibles en voiture. Un grand merci à Mark et Gary pour avoir rendu notre première visite si spéciale, et nous avons hâte d'y retourner !
Une excellente semaine en famille avec des petits (2, 5, 9 ans) et des grands qui ont bien profité de la piscine, des jeux, ping pong, volley... du barbecue et des nombreuses possibilités qu’offre la maison pour déjeuner, dîner, se reposer. Les villages autour organisent des marches en soirée où l’on peut rencontrer des producteurs et goûter aux spécialités locales (foie gras, magrets, vins...) De nombreux châteaux à visiter, et ballade en canoë sur la Dordogne. Un bon séjour dans une belle région.
We are finally home and now reflecting on happy memories of our wonderful holiday in France and particularly our 10 nights spent here. Where do we begin to ever thank you for all that you did and for making our holiday so special. We felt like we had our own personal butler looking after us throughout our stay. Even prior to our arrival we welcomed the emails, the ease of booking and then promptly replying to any query that we had , as well as the phone call to offer help and support the week before we were scheduled to arrive. We really appreciated the welcome basket of goodies and all the other little things that you had thoughtfully put in the fridge, making our arrival into the gîte a very warm and welcome one. Your 'blood, sweat and tears' have truly paid off as we could see the attention to detail that has gone in to making this a luxury gîte for your guests. We noticed the quality of furnishings and fittings, bed linen, sumptuous soft towels and then separate towels laid out for us by the pool, all of which made for an exciting stay ahead! The beds were extremely comfortable and accompanied by the peace and tranquility at night meant we both woke each morning feeling fully refreshed! We particularly enjoyed our time spent around the swimming pool and also using the outdoor kitchen/BBQ. Everything was spotlessly clean and we know that you ensured the pool area was cleaned down for us every morning. We were blessed with good weather too. The views from the terrace were stunning and we never tired from sitting there overlooking the local Cuzorn area and the valley beyond. It was a pleasure getting to know you and hearing about your journey from Essex to Lot-et-Garonne. For us, as first guests it was a privilege staying at Lasserre and we will be talking about you and our holiday for years to come. I equally hope that for you and Kate your first guests did not let you down and we have left a wonderful impression on you too! We sincerely hope that you are rewarded for the fruits of your labour and whilst we would like you to have a busy season, just secretly we would like to keep this little bit of heaven purely for us!
Avec nos sincères remerciements pour cette semaine très relaxante dans votre charmante maison. Nous avons vraiment apprécié les belles vues et la campagne environnante : les couchers de soleil étaient incroyables. Le temps a été très clément avec nous avec des températures qui ont grimpé en flèche, les baignades dans la piscine étaient les bienvenues.
Merci pour nous offrir l'opportunité de passer de merveilleuses vacances dans cette belle villa. Tout a été parfait ! Je suis venu préparé cette année avec mes « cours de piano de base pour adultes » et j'ai adoré avoir l'occasion d'essayer et de jouer à nouveau. Pas sûr que ce soit aussi agréable pour ceux qui écoutaient ! Merci à Frédéric et Natasha pour tout ce qu'ils font pour que nos 2 semaines se passent au mieux.

Nous sommes de retour ! Merci beaucoup Jackie et Geoff, nous avons encore passé un séjour fantastique. La maison était magnifique et la piscine était parfaite. Nous avons passé 99 % du temps à l'extérieur. Apéritifs au Pub et dîner dans plein de nouveaux restaurants ! Pas besoin de voiture. Merci !

Lovely house in an ideal situation. We had a wonderful time doing a little exploring but mainly lying by the beautiful pool. It's an ideal design to sit in and cool off. Two minutes walk for croissants in the morning and Rose wine in the afternoon - the Supermarket! We agree its a 5 / 5.
Nous avons tous adoré notre séjour ici. Nous aurions aimé réserver deux semaines. C'est une maison très traditionnelle, mais vous avez fourni tout le confort moderne nécessaire, sans compromettre l'ambiance du gîte. J'espère y retourner. Nous avons passé des après-midis agréables à la piscine et à admirer le magnifique coucher de soleil depuis l'allée. Nous avons apprécié les spectacles sur la place de Verteillac, devant le bar Le Calice. La belle ville de Brantôme est à visiter absolument.

Had a wonderful time in Lisle-sur-Tarn. The villa was exactly as advertised and it provided a great venue to enable some of our family to reunite for a short period.

The house is great. Lovely warm pool, table tennis table, huge grounds, lovely area, lots of culture nearby, nice local town with excellent market.

Nous sommes rentrés depuis une semaine à la maison et je voulais juste envoyer un email pour vous remercier pour ces vacances merveilleuses. Parfait du début à la fin. Réservation facile, communication au top, un gîte fantastique avec de super propriétaires. C'était seulement notre deuxième réservation avec Pure France mais cela ne sera certainement pas la dernière!

Belle maison spacieuse avec absolument tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Les magnifiques jardins et une superbe piscine ont été les points forts de notre séjour. Attendez-vous à un accueil chaleureux de la part de Nicky et Richard, les propriétaires sympathiques et serviables du charmant château. Magnifiquement situé au milieu de vignobles et de collines boisées, nous avons apprécié le calme, les vues, la magnifique piscine et l'espace. Le château n'est pas loin de quelques jolis villages disséminés autour de la rivière Lot, et Cahors n'est qu'à 25 minutes. Beaucoup de choses à faire et à voir dans la région, avec la possibilité de retourner dans notre oasis de vacances pour y faire un barbecue et nous détendre ou jouer une partie de golf sur place sur leur vaste terrain. J'ai adoré.
Cédric, another wonderful holiday in your beautiful villa. We enjoyed it so much, with trips towards Narbonne, the Canal du Midi, Pézenas, Gruissan for the stage 16 of the Tour de France, as well as lots of time in the fantastic pool! you wer a great host, showing us your new wine cellar (I didn't drink all the wine!) and telling us your plans to make the house even better. We stayed in Jean and Martin’s beautiful Gite over the recent May Bank Holiday and we were absolutely delighted with our stay in every way we could possibly be! The Gite itself is immaculately appointed; it is beautifully in character and so generously equipped with all one needs for a seamless and relaxing stay. The kitchen boasts a washing machine and dishwasher - really useful for a longer stay . Great outside area with a bbq and an extra outside kitchen area, sink and 2nd fridge. The outside dining terrace is so comfortable and looks out on a beautifully maintained garden area with pool , sun chairs and gazebo - so comfy and relaxing. The bathroom is a very good size with both bath and shower. Upstairs are two generously sized bedrooms - one double and then a twin room.. Although my husband and I travelled with friends on this occasion, it was very apparent that the Gite is beautifully family friendly ; a cot and high chairs are also provided . The surrounding area is stunning - a few minutes walk to the local shops and cafes. Not far at all by car from many local beautiful areas and restaurants. Jean and Martin are perfect hosts - we honestly couldn’t ask for more and we will definitely be returning.
We had a lovely lazy two weeks by the pool! With the hot weather the air conditioning was very welcoming at night time. We have used Pure France several times over the last 6 years and this villa has definitely been the best equipped and most accurately described. 5 / 5.

We have had a splendid time here and greatly enjoyed the villa. It was very relaxing and comfortable place with incredible views over the vineyards and hill. We spent a lot of time by the pool but also explored the neighbouring sights - Roquebrun was great fun and we also liked Minerve and managed to get down to the coast at Cabaues-les-Fleury.
