We absolutely loved our time here. The owner was a joy to work with. The home was absolutely charming. It was located on a picturesque hill, featured spacious, comfortable rooms and every luxury one would need while there. The home was spotless upon our arrival and the neighbors on the street were extremely helpful, pleasant and welcoming. We enjoyed swimming in the crisp, cool pool; hearing the church bells ring and exploring the neighboring villages as we attending the daily farmer's markets. We cannot wait to come back and are considering an extended stay as we fell in love with the area and this home. I would highly recommend it if you would like to truly experience the people and feel of the region.
Rachel and Anthony made us feel welcome and were on hand, if needed, for any information. It was the best gite we have stayed at in twenty years of holidaying in France. Recommend taking train into Carcassonne from Bram. It is so easy and only 15 minutes or so.
What an amazing place! Beautiful view had everything we needed and more, children (and adults) loved the pool. The weather was beautiful what more can we say! The perfect place.
Have had a wonderful holiday, very restful and really enjoyed the pool especially on a hot day. Enjoyed visiting Sète, Agde and Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert. Would love to return on day. Absolutely loved the pool and the garden. Would recommend Les Polmiers and Pézenas is a beautiful town!
Beautifully maintained. Very clean fabulous house and grounds. Fantastic range of play equipment for the children and we all really enjoyed the lovely pol. We have all had a fantastic holiday in this beautiful and well equipped house.
Superbe semaine dans cette charmante maison à Sarlat. La maison a tout pour un séjour estival, y compris la fraîcheur lorsque les températures atteignent les 30 degrés comme cette semaine. Le jardin verdoyant et luxuriant a été un vrai plus pour moi, avec une biodiversité incroyable – un endroit urbain que j'ai adoré. Incroyablement proche de tout à Sarlat, nous avons apprécié nos visites quotidiennes à la boulangerie et nos repas au restaurant presque tous les soirs – tout était excellent. Petits trajets en voiture jusqu'aux grottes de Lascaux, fascinantes, et canoë sur la Dordogne, un incontournable, avec une multitude de libellules différentes et même un martin-pêcheur. Allez, raibh mile math agut (merci beaucoup).
Thank you for a wonderful two weeks at your beautiful home, we fell in love with Les Marquises as soon as we stepped out of the car the gorgeous gardens, plants, flowers and the views! Then the house where to start, the clever beautiful sense of style and decoration in every room is enchanting, warm and welcoming and although we enjoyed visiting Nyons, Vaison la Romaine and Orange, the best part of our holiday was just relaxing around the swimming pool and enjoying this outstandingly beautiful place. Thank you so much for this most memorable holiday.
You beat me to it! I’d been meaning to email to say what an excellent time we’ve been having and to thank you for allowing us to use your wonderful home. It’s such a gorgeous spot, the weather has been perfect and we love the fact that the house feels like a much loved family home so thank you for sharing it with us. It is so well equipped and comfortable, with a lovely ambience - we are greatly enjoying relaxing and eating meals in all the different beautiful spots in the garden. No practical problems and everything seems in order. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

We loved the site; very peaceful and relaxing, despite the suburban setting. Everything you need is here! Pézenas is a beautiful place and we also liked Meze, Tourbes and especially enjoyed kayaking down the Hérault river.
Ça s'est très bien passé pour notre famille de 7 adultes, une petite fille et 2 petits chiens. De l'espace, c'est parfait avec beaucoup de coins pour se reposer, manger ou juste avoir un peu de paix. La clim était excellente avec la chaleur de cette semaine. La télévision énorme pour les finales de Wimbledon et les propriétaires bien accueillants. Merci beaucoup pour tout. À la prochaine!!!
Gordon family and Mullaly family Thank you for letting us stay in this lovely farmhouse. The best days of the holiday were spent here in the farmhouse by the pool. The teens loved the gym and the tennis court. Such a lovely location. Much local excitement when the Tour de France (femmes) passed the driveway. What a fabulous day! Enjoyed the wine tour and our 2 meals out in Richelieu. The view from the terrace is exceptional and such a good place to drink coffee and welcome the morning or indeed the evening. Great family team here to spend much for a great visit.
Just a little note to say thank you so much for our lovely, restful, peaceful stay in your beautiful Loft. We're sure you saw we were well and truly exhausted after a summer running events - the Loft was THE PERFECT ANTIDOTE! All the little touches were noted and appreciated by us both and we spent a lovely evening enjoying many aperitifs with you. Many, many heartfelt thanks again. It certainly isn't Au Revoir - but A Bientot!
What a wonderful holiday we have had. We are familiar with the region but La Tourouzelle offers the most amazing place for a holiday: fabulous views to the Pyrénées, a comfortable, well-equipped home and a fantastic pool! There is so much to do here - lovely bastide towns and villes perchées and lots of fêtes and festivals. We have particularly enjoyed the fête at Fanjeaux, the views from the Collégiale at Montréal, a late night walk around la Cité at Carcassonne, the fête du Cassoulet at Castelnaudary and the festival de Pétanque at Limoux. We look forward to another visit.
Nous avons dîné à l'appartement le soir car nous ne voulions pas sortir ! Nous venons de passer quelques jours dans l'appartement de luxe avec piscine. La piscine chauffée avec la vue est incroyable. La maison est bien équipée et nous avons dîné à l'appartement le soir car nous ne voulions pas partir. L'hôte habite à l'étage et a été très serviable, nous récupérant au bas de la colline avec nos sacs de courses ! Nous avons utilisé les taxis Uber pour nous rendre à Nice et à l'aéroport, ce qui a bien fonctionné.
Nous tenons à dire que nous avons passé un merveilleux moment à la Maison Valière, nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par Eric et Dominique, un pack de bienvenue comprenant de la confiture maison, des produits locaux, Eric nous a également fait découvrir le vin local du Château de Ventenac-en-Minervois, la cave vaut bien une visite. La propriété est fantastique, à part la piscine, il y a de quoi occuper tous les âges, il y a beaucoup de caractéristiques uniques dans cette propriété, y compris les enceintes audio d'Eric. La piscine était maintenue propre et remplie régulièrement. Eric et Dominique étaient toujours disponibles par téléphone pour offrir des conseils sur la région et les endroits à visiter. Est-ce que nous y retournerions ? Oui, sans aucun doute. Je dois également dire que c'était la première fois que nous réservions via Pure France, ce qui s'est déroulé sans problème et avec plaisir.
This is an idyllic luxury dream. A tranquil abode where resistance against rest and relaxation is futile. Welcoming in 2022 with Kate, Frans, their family and friends felt like home away from home with immediate family. They have created a home where you can freely engage in the beauty of this corner of France in an easthetic space curated to the highest level. We could class them as more than 'friends' - and definitely as 'MTFS'. The only antidote to departing is to plot the return and this has already begun.
Nous ne manquerons pas de recommander cette maison avec tant de caractère et de charme à toute notre famille et nos amis en Australie et en Angleterre. Nous y avons passé un moment merveilleux.
Un accueil très sympathique. Le lieu est très calme tout en permettant les visites des sites touristiques. La cuisine est très bien équipée. Nous avons apprécié de découvrir l'histoire familiale (qui gère le musée Napoléon tout proche)
Nous avons passé un superbe séjour au château la semaine dernière! Le château était incroyable. Olha nous a fait visiter le château, elle était super serviable et nous a laissé notre espace. Les installations étaient toutes fantastiques… la piscine était magnifique, bien sûr, et la salle de sport était équipée pour que chacun puisse s'y entraîner. Le court de tennis était utilisé tous les jours et ceux qui l'ont utilisé (pas moi, je buvais du rosé au bord de la piscine et je lançais une balle que de temps en temps !) l'ont adoré. Les chambres étaient vraiment spacieuses et bien équipées, ce qui ne se voit peut-être pas sur les photos, mais ce n'est pas vraiment un reproche, juste une agréable surprise. Une autre bonne surprise a été la qualité de l'équipement de la cuisine. Il y a littéralement TOUT. Il y a une supérette et une boulangerie à moins d'un kilomètre, mais malheureusement, ce n'était pas vraiment accessible à pied pour les adolescents du groupe, car les véhicules rapides et il n'y a pas de sentiers. Mais ce n'était pas vraiment un point négatif quand on a tant d'autres choses pour les divertir. Nous étions quatre familles en vacances et nous sommes tous un peu grincheux chacun de notre côté, maintenant que nous sommes chacun de retour à la maison !

A wonderful return visit to Villa Kali and this beautiful area of France. Weather has been great all week with plenty of sunshine, with the pool providing much needed relief. Enjoyed visits to Saint-Guilhem-le-Desert and Montpellier, as well as several trips to Pèzenas, particularly the ice cream shops! Enjoyed meals at Les Palmiers (quite expensive) and Chef Brasserie Chez Hansi (good value). Saturday market in Pèzenas worth a visit and Serignan Plage probably the best beach. The patisserie / boulangerie opposite Carrefour does great bread, croissants and gateaux. Look forward to a return visit in the future. Thanks for a great holiday! 5 / 5.

Thank you Karen and Russell for giving us the opportunity to stay in such a beautiful place. The Loft du Vigneron is one of the nicest places we have stayed, and we have stayed in many. The warm welcome we received when we arrived was lovely after our tiring journey. It was great to have you show us around, and your welcome pack was more than generous. The facilities here are all 5-Star; the Loft is spacious and airy, and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and crockery and everything that you need, and more besides. All the ensuite bathrooms are of the highest standard with fluffy towels and pamper products (I want a new bathroom when I go home - I was spoiled here). Karen and Russell, you really know how to look after your guests and spoil them. We can't wait to come back next year for two weeks - one was not enough!
What a delight! The two bedroom cottage was very spacious and comfortable - actually seemed bigger than the photos depict. Our hosts couldn't have been more welcoming and supportive and had a genuine interest in making our stay as enjoyable as possible, from recommendations and help with reservations at wonderful local restaurants, to suggestions for local sites to visit, to making sure we were comfortable when we experienced some inclement weather. We would love to return and highly recommend this unique property to anyone planning to spend time touring the gorgeous Dordogne area.
Thank you again for opening your home to us this summer. We all really needed a vacation and the house was a superb way to relax and enjoy perfect weather. We all had a great time and fully enjoyed the house and the property. The overall layout of the house and inside the rooms is very thoughtful and was perfect for all of us. We had three families, 4 kids of different ages and a grandma. The different spaces allowed us to handle the different kid routines and moods in a way that gave everyone privacy. The kitchen is large and extremely well furnished. Makes it comfortable to cook for large groups. The pool is actually enormous. The way Patrick takes care of it seems to produce much better results than I have seen in other places: the water stayed clear all the way through. The pool house is an incredibly valuable area, especially because it is so well furnished, this is a serious luxury. The small supermarket in St-Antonin-du-Var is surprisingly good, if you are not a big cook you could totally live off this (they opened on Sunday am!). We also organised a Casino home delivery for the day before we arrived. We used P and Geraldine for 16 hours a week, to get the kitchen cleaned, make the beds, light housekeeping, remove rubbish, clean the BBQ and pool house areas and this made a huge positive difference.
The daily stroll through le Grand Verger to the ice cream shop within Larressingle was a delight.
Nous avons passé 2 semaines dans la charmante maison Charvin à Montlaur. C'était notre premier voyage en Languedoc-Roussillon, en Occitanie. Nous avons tout de suite réalisé en arrivant que c'était la bonne maison pour nous. C'est tellement beau, soigneusement restauré et décoré de manière chaleureuse. Tout était impeccable et propre. Une bouteille de vin local attendait en cadeau et nous nous sommes sentis les bienvenus. Des livres à prêter partout. La cuisine avait tout ce que nous pouvions souhaiter et plus encore, nous avons adoré le poêle italien. L'espace extérieur est fantastique, très privé avec la piscine turquoise pour se rafraîchir. Même nos adolescents se sentent détendus et heureux d'être là. Montlaur est un petit village avec des gens sympathiques. Il y a une boutique, une boulangerie, une boucherie, une pharmacie et un coiffeur. De quoi d'autres avez-vous besoin? Nous avons passé notre temps à lire, bronzer, nager et faire des sorties la journée. Grâce à Sharon, nous nous sommes retrouvés dans tous les bons endroits, comme les merveilleux restaurants de Lagrasse, vraiment sympas tous les deux. C'est parfait d'avoir un guide privé aussi gentil et engagé que la propriétaire, Mme W. Elle voulait que nous profitions au maximum de nos vacances. M'a même prêtée un de ses livres préférés avec un petit mot ; ça pourrait vous plaire ! Merci beaucoup Sharon, de nous avoir ouvert votre maison, nous sommes si heureux d'avoir trouvé ce petit coin de paradis.
