We had a very relaxing and peaceful time staying in your beautiful home. It was wonderful to wake up and watch the sunrise over Mont Ventoux.
On n'aurait pas pu demander mieux à La Barde ou à son propriétaire. La Barde était tranquille, confortable et avait tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin pour des vacances en famille. La cuisine était très bien équipée, c'était incroyable, les chambres étaient spacieuses et les lits confortables. Toutes les pièces étaient joliment décorées et meublées avec soin. Il y avait tellement d'espace dans la maison et les jardins que même en tant que famille nombreuse, vous pouvez trouver un endroit calme pour un peu de paix. La piscine avait une grande partie peu profonde pour les tout-petits, le jardin était idéal à explorer. Nous reviendrons l'année prochaine sans aucun doute ! Merci!
Went to this beautiful holiday cottage for the second time. What a great experience again this time. We were warmly welcomed and our house felt like coming home again. Host and hostess Leo and Esther gave us great tips so that our holiday became a great experience again. The visit to Nîmes was impressively beautiful. I especially recommend visiting Avignon to everyone with its beautiful center and the cozy terraces around the market square. The swimming pool overlooking the vineyards is a pearl. The silence descends on you wonderfully in the evening. Truly unique. Thank you for another great holiday.
The house is great for a large group and the surroundings are really beautiful. The fig and almond trees in the gardens were in full fruit too. The pool area would benefit from shade such as the awning in the online picture. The weather was very hot while we were there and the upstairs bedrooms were uncomfortably warm. Take not that the a/c is only in the living area.
I have had one of the best holiday ever here. The weather was perfect and the pool cooled us down and provided a great source of entertainment. The beds were so comfy they got us ready for the next day. The bakery only a few minutes walk from here provided some delicious fresh bread each morning.

Très bel environnement. Le logement correspond aux attentes. Très bon accueil. Jayne et Wendy sont très gentilles et sympathiques. Elles nous ont bien présenté la maison et donné les informations pratiques nécessaires pour notre séjour. Des vacances très réussies.
La propriété était tout simplement magnifique ! Nous y avons trouvé tout le nécessaire pour un séjour parfait. Les jardins, regorgeant de roses splendides, et la vaste cour arborée de nombreuses variétés offraient un havre de paix, avec une superbe piscine en son centre. Le mobilier, en harmonie avec la grande maison, évoquait son histoire et proposait de nombreux espaces pour se détendre avec un bon livre ou se réunir en grand groupe. Un vrai régal pour les papilles avec sa plaque de cuisson au gaz, sa plancha et son barbecue au charbon de bois. L'emplacement était idéal pour explorer les magnifiques sites de la région. À quelques minutes seulement, on trouvait de charmantes boutiques d'artisans et un supermarché. Nous avons dévoré le panier de livres et de brochures soigneusement sélectionnés sur la région. Elisabeth et Philippe ont été des hôtes exceptionnels, attentifs à nos besoins, répondant à toutes nos questions et veillant à ce que notre séjour soit parfait.
First things first - Karen, Russell and the girls (Mack and Mabel) are wonderful hosts. Warm, friendly, thoughtful and yet discreet. They love what they're doing and it shows as nothing is too much trouble. Their enthusiasm for their ventures (current and future) is infectious. Secondly is the 'Loft du Vigneron' - a fabulous property offering everything - and more - that you could hope for. Karen and Russell's sense of style has been imprinted on it and their attention to detail has left nothing wanting. Every comfort has been considered from the fabulous welcoming pack to 'The White Company' range of toiletries. The terrace was our favourite place with the sun streaming through the roof and the warm breeze cooling us down. Rieux-Minervois is a typical French village and perfectly situated to explore the entire Minervois region from Carcassonne in the West, East to the Mediterranean, and all the lovely historical villages North and South. In conclusion, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful property with the perfect hosts - highly recommended without hesitation. Our very best wishes for every success in you new venture. Time for an emotional essay... Thak you for a lovely week, it is a magical place. Walking into Piglet is like coming home (but tidier and more luxurious !). Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.
A more tranquil spot in France you will not find. The house has 360-degree views across stunning French countryside that rolls and undulates towards a backdrop of the Pyrenees. It feels like you're a million miles from the stresses and strains of modern life, another world and yet within 20 minutes drive you can be in a huge supermarket that will cater for all your needs. The house itself is incredibly comfortable, with all mod cons. It sleeps 14 people in great comfort, including in two well-appointed cottages in the grounds. And yet it retains its cosy feel. Some days we lazed by the pool and ate our meals on one of the terraces, other days – when it was cooler - we lit the fire and settled in. It's genuinely as comfy inside as it is outside, which is not always the case in French holiday lets. Our young children were in heaven. When not swimming or playing tennis, they roamed the five acres of immaculately kept grounds, building camps, rowing on the small lake. There's snooker croquet and table tennis too, if it's wet. And then of course there is the party room. Set well away from the grown-up bedrooms, the party room has a bar, DJ–quality speaker system and a proper disco – glitter ball, lights and all. Incredible fun. You really won't want to leave the château and grounds at all – it's a self-contained little hill-top world - but if you do have itchy feet then there are lots of walks nearby, or you can visit one of the many beautiful French towns nearby (Mirepoix market is a must). I cannot wait to return.
Notre séjour était parfait, la maison était impeccable tout le confort dont nous avions besoin et tout était neuf. Eva nous a conseillé pour pleins de choses, le contact était parfait toujours à l'écoute et bienveillante. Merci pour ce séjour si agréable.
Well kept gardens and lovely house. Would highly recommend to anyone. Extras like the UK adapters were a nice touch. Pool made the children holiday. It was also very clean and perfect size and depth. Great hosts, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Our second time at this beautiful house. From the moment of arrived we were relaxed. The place is so tastefully furnished, the pool so welcoming. But most of all the hosts themselves make you feel very incredibly welcome and couldn't be more helpful. We had amazing weather for the week so we didn't venture far from the pool at all. Thank you Hugh and Ian for sharing your beautiful home and little piece of paradise with us, we will be back!
Nous avions besoin d'une pause pour décompresser et nous détendre. Nous sommes tombés sur La Charmante Distillerie grâce à une recommandation et elle a dépassé toutes nos attentes. Les enfants étaient loin de leurs appareils électroniques et ont joué à la pétanque, au babyfoot, au badminton et même à des châteaux de sable. Ils se sont ensuite rafraîchis dans la piscine, avec de nombreux jeux pour les divertir. Le plus mémorable, c'est l'accueil ! Mark et Gary sont des hôtes exceptionnels. L'accueil dans leur magnifique maison de vacances était d'une grande authenticité, tout comme leur hospitalité – à la hauteur de nos attentes. Nous y retournerons certainement et avons hâte d'observer les étoiles avec le télescope de la maison dans le ciel nocturne limpide.
Nous n avons malheureusement pas pu rencontrer Eva mais nous avons été accueilli par Harold qui est une personne très solaire. la maison est très jolie et très agréable. Les chambres et la salle de vie sont tres spacieuses. Le coin terrasse avec sa plancha, la piscine avec sa petite plage et les transats pour bien se relaxer sont très appréciables.
Nous avons récemment passé deux semaines dans la propriété avec six autres amis. L'ensemble a été joliment décoré avec des couleurs vives et fraîches, ainsi que les deux cuisines richement équipées. La plupart des chambres disposent de leur propre salon et d'une salle de bain complète. Nous avions choisi la chambre jaune qui donnait sur la cour et les montagnes. L'intérieur de la propriété est vraiment aussi attrayant que les photos sur le site Internet. Il y a deux grands salons, dont un avec télévision grand écran. La piscine et le coin repas extérieur sont bien entretenus et agréables à utiliser. Le patio aux dimensions très généreuses, surplombant les Pyrénées, est équipé pour écouter de la musique et peut être éclairé la nuit, pour manger et danser en plein air. Le propriétaire nous a suggéré, un soir, d'essayer un restaurant local, appelé Gayda. Si vous séjournez à la propriété, vous devez vous rendre à Gayda pour le dîner. Le dimanche soir, ils vous présenteront un repas véritablement gastronomique, ainsi que tous les vins pour accompagner le repas cinq étoiles, le tout pour environ 25 euros par personne. (Nous y sommes allés trois fois). Tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour passer des vacances fabuleuses est disponible à la propriété. Vous l'adorerez.
Couldn't keep the kids out of the pool it was so warm, especially in the evening when we sat on the terrace next to the pool with a glass of rosé. Everyone loved the roof terrace with its views. Thanks for a very warm welcome.
The house is perfect for holidays with friends! Everything is well equipped and the people who manage the place are very nice and responsive. The bedding is also comfortable. Thank you very much!

We enjoyed the house very much. We especially enjoyed the kitchen. The provision of cook books, an array of perfectly clean utensils. A stock of herbs and spices was a real bonus. We hope many more come and enjoy it as we did.
Just a short note to say how much my wife and I loved our stay at Les Faures in France last September. We were amazed and delighted at the size of the house with its many rooms and amenities, as well as the mood of relaxation in the beautiful setting which we were able to enjoy while there for two weeks. We enjoyed the large pool area and the expansive grounds, but we particularly loved the quiet and privacy of the country setting, but still near enough to the small local villages, with interesting cafes, markets and old buildings – just right for local drives to explore the beautiful area. So many exciting features - we would give this property a 5 out of 5!

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable au Château Grandchamp de Chablis. Le cadre, l'équipement, la piscine, tout est fait pour s'y sentir bien et pour tous! Our stay at Maison et Bergerie de la Brousse was nothing short of joyful. The house and gardens were beautiful with enough space for all 10 guests. Even with the weather being incredibly hot the pool and air conditioning in each of the bedrooms provided some relief. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed and the 2nd fridge proved very handy. There were ample places both inside and out for everyone to enjoy time on their own in small groups or all together. The bedrooms were beautifully fitted out and the interior of both houses were reimagined thoughtfully combining the history and charm of the old farm house and the luxury of modern interiors. The farm house is in the beautiful country close to tourist attractions and local amenities although a car is required. The housekeeper was extremely helpful and communicative. She provided us with clear instructions for our stay. It was a wonderful holiday.
