What a truly wonderful place!! Although the photos show a beautiful place, they do not do justice to the reality, which was perfection. The chateau, its grounds and the location are all outstanding and so big! Lots of walks and places to explore. Gaelle, the host, was there if we needed, answering emails very quickly and offering help and recommendations . We were a party of 15 with ages from 3 to 73. Everyone felt comfortable and well catered for. A perfect holiday!
Our stay at La Petite Maison Générille was absolutely wonderful! The property is beautiful, the location is stunning, the hosts were fantastic - so helpful and friendly, made us feel right at home. Highly recommend for a relaxing and memorable Dordogne getaway.
This property is so beautiful you may not want to venture out, but if you do there are great restaurants and bars nearby as well as lovely walks and biking trails. The rooms are very comfortable, all en-suite and everything you could wish for is provided. The huge swimming pool / pool house / relaxing / eating and barbecue areas mean that you can be outside all the time but the gorgeous well equipped kitchen and indoor rooms offer a cool alternative. Cant wait to go back!
Merci à Kim et Chris de nous avoir permis de rester. Une maison si belle et relaxante pour la semaine. J'aurais aimé être ici pour deux semaines au lieu d'une semaine ! Nous avons apprécié de nous détendre au bord de la piscine lors des journées chaudes et ensoleillées et de faire des barbecues le soir en regardant les couchers de soleil. J'adorerais revenir avec mes sœurs à un moment donné.
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans la villa et tenons à vous remercier pour toutes les informations que vous nous avez données. Nous y reviendrons probablement un jour.
Beautiful setting, fantastic space. Well kept both inside and out. Facilities were fantastic. Great pool - child friendly and garden toys were a perfect addition too. Lovely family holiday enjoyed by all ages.

As anticipated, it was as wonderful as last year and we have all had a splendid time and are sorry to have to leave. Thank you so much for your wonderful Loft and your hospitality. We are all looking forward to our visit again next year.
Piglet is the prfect spot to visit all the graet spots in the Vendée, our favourite being La Rochelle and the Belugas beach. There are wonderful touches of luxury at the house; beautiful linens, towels and bathrobes. Vouvant is a charming and beautiful village. definitely a fabulous find !

We had a wonderful time at Château Grandchamp de Chablis in Burgundy and will certainly be back. All details of both the house and the care of the guests are carefully thought through and attended to and we had the perfect combination of privacy and feeling attended to while there. The property is beautiful and the owners have wonderful taste. The grounds have a myriad of eating spots and activities including swimming pool, tennis, lovely walks and a feeling of privacy. The owners are gracious and eager to be sure you have the resources to make the most of your stay with their long experience and knowledge of the area. A special holiday to experience a French home of this level and explore the extensive area of Burgundy not far from Paris. A rare find indeed!
La maison est magnifique et très bien équipée, pour la cuisine ou pour les activités, tout est prévu pour passer un bon séjour. L’accueil est soigné avec des voisins tres sympathiques. Je recommande vivement le Château des grillauds pour un séjour au calme en Dordogne. Nous avons passé agréable séjour dans Château des Grillauds. La maison est très bien équipée. Il y a tout le nécessaire pour y passer de bonnes vacances en famille ou entre amis. Nous avons pu déjeuner à l'extérieur pour profiter du jardin et de la piscine. Je recommande vivement, nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Pendant notre séjour, nous avons beaucoup apprécié L'abbaye de Fontevraud - si belle et merveilleuse à explorer pour nous et nos enfants, Chinon - un tel caractère, même sous la pluie, l'atout doux du vin Coteaux du Layon (c'est magnifique, merci ), Azay le Rideau - un si beau village, de nombreuses boutiques intéressantes, des rues joliment présentées, Mona Pizza à Saumur, malgré le nom les pizzas (four à bois) étaient incroyables ! L'église de Cunault - magnifique 14ème siècle, les jardins du château de Villandry - les jardins étaient magnifiques, Montreuil ville basse - un charmant village, un magnifique château au centre et un grand atelier de poterie, la piscine et le jardin ! Apprécié par nous tous tous les jours. Le gîte était un vrai chez-soi, un vrai plaisir d'y séjourner. Nous espérons y revenir un jour !

From the warm welcome on the first day to our chats, drinks and little contacts throughout the week, you have been as much a highlight of our holiday as the wonderful home. And that is no mean feat... The Piglet Barn is immaculate throughout and has felt like our own home in this beautiful village. You and your friends around town have made us feel so welcome. We have honestly felt so privileged to have met you and we will absolutely be raving about you to friends and family when we get home.

Wow this house is absolutely amazing. It looks good and it is! Its even better than the pictures show. The house was absolutely immaculate, all of the furnishings were of the very highest quality. Extra bedding, towels etc. Air conditioning in every room. The location is brilliant, really quiet, but so close to the centre of Narbonne. Every thing is just a stroll away. The pool and outside space is absolutely lovely, really restful and again immaculately clean. We would certainly love to be able to come back and stay here again.
Une maison aussi exceptionnellement accueillante que facile à vivre et confortable. Nous y avons passé une semaine entre amis et avec nos enfants, et nous n'avons pas vu le temps passer. Le jardin, la piscine, le barbecue, la table de ping pong et l'ensemble des nombreux équipements mis à disposition par Marie-Thérèse nous ont permis de multiplier les bons moments.
Another restful holiday in this little haven. Visited some lovely villages and ate wonderful food. The weather was kind - most days over 28° (and England had rain!) Warm memories to survive the British winter! Thank you again.
Can't believe we have to leave our new home in Najac. The château is magnificent—striking and enormous, yet cozy and welcoming; an easy walk to the lovely village, yet splendidly private and quiet on its own hill. Amazing views, spotlessly clean, superbly equipped and with the best pool we've ever had! The only thing that matches the château and setting is the warm, attentive and super-knowledgeable welcome and help from Henrietta and her team. They helped us to make the most of our stay. Those extra-mile touches made all the difference and we really appreciated them. We loved getting to know this part of France, which seems to combine so many of the wonderful things from the more 'discovered' regions, adding a twist or 2, delivered with a smile.
Thank you for a fabulous stay in Vouvant and all the kind hospitality you showed us. The kids have loved having the fabulous pool all to themselves. We've had great trips out to the Isle de Ré and the beaches. We are sad to be leaving !
Lovely place to stay, enjoyed being able to walk to the cafes and shops. Highlights; cycling to Chinon own hire bikes. Lovely walk through vineyards to the soap museum/shop. We had some extremely hot days (37 degrees) so went to Lac du Grezillé. Loved Saumur and Chinon, highly recommend Château Bréze.
An absolutely fabulous villa, decorated and furnished inside and out to an exceptional standard. Perfect location with an amazing pool and relaxation area. Very efficient air conditioning. The advertising for this villa does not do it justice. Facilities like this are hard to find in a holiday rental.
The house is beautiful - plenty of space for a large group to have both together time and also their own space. Outdoor areas are fantastic and beds super comfy! . Overall highly recommended.
La villa s'est avérée être la maison idéale pour la semaine, car elle cochait de nombreuses cases : un sympathique propriétaire de villa qui parlait bien anglais, à dix minutes à pied de la plage et des restaurants, à cinq minutes à pied de la gare du Cros de Cagnes où vous pouvez prendre le train local pour Cannes en 24 minutes et Nice en 15 minutes - donc pas besoin de vous tracasser avec la location de voiture, un supermarché bien approvisionné à 10 minutes à pied, à distance de marche du bus gratuit jusqu'au magnifique village perché du Haut de Cagnes. Une villa propre et bien meublée, chaque pièce disposant de commandes individuelles pour les réglages de la climatisation... agréable lorsque vous rentrez d'une chaude journée ! De la glace à volonté dans l'immense réfrigérateur et une piscine à la bonne température, de jour comme de nuit.
Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour à la Maison Lamonzie, une si belle propriété. Nos remerciements à Thierry pour toute son aimable assistance.

Nous avons passé ici un moment paisible et fabuleux. Une maison et un endroit tellement charmants. Notre enfant de 4 ans n'arrête pas de nous dire qu'il aime vraiment cette maison et qu'il veut y rester pour toujours. Les deux garçons se sont vraiment bien amusés et ont adoré la piscine. Les voisins de l'autre côté de la route étaient très gentils et nous ont donné quelques-uns de leurs légumes cultivés sur place. Notre fils a adoré les carottes et s'est réveillé en les demandant pour le petit-déjeuner. Triste de partir mais nous espèrons revenir bientôt. Merci beaucoup.
