Wonderful house, very relaxing location. So much to see, not enough time.
Merci pour cette semaine inoubliable ! La maison et le jardin étaient magnifiques. Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir un temps splendide et la piscine a fait le bonheur des enfants. Nous espérons revenir bientôt pour explorer davantage la région et repartir tous ressourcés. Un grand merci pour votre accueil si chaleureux.
Fantastic time in this great house and location. 2 weeks of rest, relaxation and fun with the kids and extended family. Thank you. What a wonderful place! So much for the kids to do - swimngs, slide, trampoline, swimming and may runing races, lots of yumy wines and cheese. Two scrumptious meals cooked by Tim and Ali. Very tempted to return next year! Thank you. What an amazing find, fantastic location and beautiful house. We had an awesome 2 weeks with extended family and friends. Great hospitality from Tim and Ali. Thanks a million. Nous avons passé un séjour chaleureux chez Eva à Sérignan. Très belle villa, joliment située dans un quartier calme. La piscine privée était vraiment un régal ! Eva a été très réactive à nos questions et a été facile à contacter. Nous pouvons certainement recommander son logement et nous n'hésiterons pas à y retourner si nous sommes de nouveau dans la région.
Nous avons tous apprécié le séjour à la villa. Nous avons aimé son emplacement - à la fois à Lezignan et le fait d'être proche de Pézenas et d'accéder facilement à d'autres endroits (nous sommes allés à Carcassonne, Montpellier, Millau, etc.). Merci d'avoir mis à disposition le vélo et le baby-foot ! C'était aussi agréable d'avoir une piscine - même si nous n'y sommes allés qu'une seule fois. De nombreuses informations utiles ont également été fournies dans la villa. Nous avons aimé le fait que vous nous ayez contacté personnellement - cela nous a rassuré avant notre voyage - merci pour votre aide. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons apprécié notre séjour et si nous revenons dans la région, nous reviendrions à la villa. Merci.
Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux et reposant. Pete, vous avez été un hôte formidable ! Nous avons beaucoup apprécié lire en admirant la vue magnifique depuis les terrasses.
It’s hard to know where to begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. Your property is so well set up and we made good use of the barbecue, tennis court, boules, darts, table tennis and of course, the pool which beats all other swimming pools we’ve ever had on holiday... and the shady areas when the sun got just that bit too hot. So much thought has obviously gone into it all and it made our holiday very special. The four teenage grandchildren we had with us had a ball and we all loved the Lot countryside, its villages and the sunflowers. How can you not be happy when you’ve got fields of them within a few steps from your door? The two Marches Gourmands we went to at Tournon and Saux were brilliant fun - the food on offer at Saux was particularly good and Tournon is such a pretty place. Our daughter loved going for early morning runs, seeing a hare and on two occasions, a deer, amongst sunflowers. Swimming in the Lot, cycling and canoeing are all on our list of favourite things we did. We also have a great picture of three of the red squirrels on the tree near the bolet - what a brilliant place for breakfast. Thank you so very much from all of us. Notre séjour était parfait, la maison était impeccable tout le confort dont nous avions besoin et tout était neuf. Eva nous a conseillé pour pleins de choses, le contact était parfait toujours à l'écoute et bienveillante. Merci pour ce séjour si agréable.
Beautiful maintained home and grounds. Excellent facilities for young families. All modern and child / baby amenities provided. Daily housekeeping was an added bonus compared to previous holiday rentals.

Je suis tombée sous le charme de cette belle demeure atypique. Sa proximité avec le château de Duras lui apporte une touche féerique... Il y a tout le confort nécessaire pour les visiteurs et la literie est de qualité. D'un côté de la demeure, vue imprenable sur la belle piscine et sur la vallée et de l'autre côté, vue magique sur les fortifications du château. Je n'en dévoilerai pas d'avantage et laisse le plaisir , aux prochains visiteurs ,de découvrir les autres petits trésors que cache cette maison. Le village de Duras est typique des petites villes de province avec son beau marché local et coloré . Les soirs, très bonne ambiance festive.
The Villa is beautifully appointed and furnished to a very high standard .The kitchen has every appliance you could possibly need. The bedrooms are very spacious with private balconies and the aircon throughout the villa is a must in the French summer months. Outdoor the furniture is of a excellent (the nicest outdoor furniture I think we have ever used) and the front terrace benefits the sun for the whole day. There was so many outdoor terraces and seating areas, that we didn’t get chance to use all of them in our 2 weeks, but the main one was very spacious for us all to use. The BBQ was a Webber and very easy to use and came with spare gas bottles As regular visitors to the area we usually have the frustration of parking in Collioure and the traffic in and out as the season get busy, but as the Villa is only a 10 minute walk into Collioure, we were able to pop in and as we wanted which made the holiday even more relaxing. I would highly recommend this villa for anyone wanting a modern, well equipped, well maintained villa with easy access to Collioure

We have been renting in France for 5 years now and this is the best villa we have stayed in. Attention to detail throughout and a lovely garden and pool area which the children loved. The local village is so picturesque with fabulous restaurants.

We have just returned from our holiday at your property which we all thoroughly enjoyed. I wanted to write to give feedback on our stay as I understand we were the first guests at the property. It was was the exact property we were looking for, in a quiet rural setting with the farm next door and the property itself offered everything we needed. The pool area was particularly well configured, safe for children and practical. It was so relaxing and particularly for my brother who enjoyed three days with us during the break of his six month tour in Afghanistan. It was so perfect we are very tempted to book it again for next year. Please pass our thanks on to all the owners for arranging the child facilities and to Gary and Louise who kept the pool immaculately.
Notre semaine à la Maison des Communes a été la manière la plus parfaite de célébrer 3 anniversaires très importants. Deux 60 ans et un 40 ans. Nous avons apprécié chaque instant et n'aurions pas pu souhaiter un meilleur endroit, ni un meilleur hôte pour rendre ce séjour aussi spécial que possible. En tant que groupe de six adultes (trois couples), c'était génial d'avoir chacun notre propre espace avec la villa, mais aussi de jolis espaces communs pour prendre nos repas et nous détendre ensemble. Tout dans la villa était idéal, de la piscine, des vélos et une chambre confortable au vaste terrain. La cerise sur le gâteau a été Philippe. Quel hôte gracieux apportant des pâtisseries fraîches, laissant des cadeaux de bienvenue. Merci beaucoup. Nous reviendrons.
A beautiful property in a nice quiet location but still close to many interesting places to visit. The bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable and there was a lovely covered eating area outside. We also really loved the pool. We especially enjoyed canoeing on the Dordogne and visiting Domme and Le Jardin Marqueyssac. We also left something behind which Victoire kindly sent on to us.
Wow, what a stunning house – so, so loved being here and just wished the days had stretched a little longer to have seen more of this beautiful part of the Dordogne. Massive thanks to Jayne and Ian for looking after us so well! Thank you from the Blackett-Shield Family.

We just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful holiday in your beautiful house. You have made everything so comfortable and easy and it was such a joy to stay there. The location was perfect, such a peaceful spot with stunning views, in a pretty village. It exceeded all of our expectations. The region is so interesting too. We loved it all but especially the salt water swimming pool and the way you have landscaped the whole outside areas. We spent as much time as we could relaxing there. I hope we can return for another holiday soon! Thank you from us all. We couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. It really was perfect.
Wow, what a huge privilege to be the first entry into what we know will become a book full of compliments, acclaim and thanks to a very special couple who are creating a very special place. The house and gardens are an amazing reflection of the style and care and attention to detail that Russell and Karen are putting into what we know will become one of Languedoc's gems. Their un-intrusive but 'nothing is too much trouble' nature brings a relaxed and caring environment. The Loft is a lovely haven to relax in and contemplate the beautiful world around you. We look forward to returning and wish you all the very best.
