Fantastique maison spacieuse (en m2 comme en m3) avec un intérieur design bien pensé. Le jardin est un domaine avec vue de chevreuils.
I have had one of the best holiday ever here. The weather was perfect and the pool cooled us down and provided a great source of entertainment. The beds were so comfy they got us ready for the next day. The bakery only a few minutes walk from here provided some delicious fresh bread each morning.
All of us have had a lovely holiday - so relaxing! Much reading, drinking wine, lying in the sun and swimming. Absolutely perfect! We went to Carcasonne which is stunning, but it was unbelievably hot! (and the whining children not the easiest!) Thank you - It's a great house. And we echo all the above sentiments. It has been perfect week of pure relaxation - the owner is absolutely right when he says that there is no very good reason to leave the house - we managed an afternoon in the Montagne Noir - stunning views especially from Saissac. The house is perfect for all of us. A huge thank you to the owners for making it so good.
Beaucoup de balades à vélo, du bon vin, un soleil brillant, des couchers de soleil spectaculaires et une piscine. Merci à Kim d'avoir fourni un lieu pour des vacances en famille inoubliables.
La villa s'est avérée être la maison idéale pour la semaine, car elle cochait de nombreuses cases : un sympathique propriétaire de villa qui parlait bien anglais, à dix minutes à pied de la plage et des restaurants, à cinq minutes à pied de la gare du Cros de Cagnes où vous pouvez prendre le train local pour Cannes en 24 minutes et Nice en 15 minutes - donc pas besoin de vous tracasser avec la location de voiture, un supermarché bien approvisionné à 10 minutes à pied, à distance de marche du bus gratuit jusqu'au magnifique village perché du Haut de Cagnes. Une villa propre et bien meublée, chaque pièce disposant de commandes individuelles pour les réglages de la climatisation... agréable lorsque vous rentrez d'une chaude journée ! De la glace à volonté dans l'immense réfrigérateur et une piscine à la bonne température, de jour comme de nuit.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The private, secluded setting was just what we needed. We used th eoutdoor kitchen all the time, such a wonderful addition to the property. We will be back!
Simply fantastic, location, tranquillity and of course the property, Top.
The house is great for a large group and the surroundings are really beautiful. The fig and almond trees in the gardens were in full fruit too. The pool area would benefit from shade such as the awning in the online picture. The weather was very hot while we were there and the upstairs bedrooms were uncomfortably warm. Take not that the a/c is only in the living area.
We had such a lovely stay at your house. A warm and lovelywelcome and you baked a delicious crumble for us! The house was perfect, playing ping-pong, badminton and of course swimming! Thanks for everything!

Absolutely amazing views. I spent few glorious days in that beautiful villa in South of France. The house has hypnotising views and all the surroundings and accommodation were perfect, modern facilities but still warm and welcoming vibe.
Quel merveilleux séjour nous avons passé dans cette magnifique villa. Nous ne pouvions sortir de la piscine car nous avons eu beaucoup de chance avec le temps. Les jouets gonflables de la piscine étaient fantastiques, les enfants et les adultes ont apprécié de se prélasser dans la piscine pendant des heures ! Nous avons passé de superbes soirées à Sarlat au « Pub » en regardant les artistes de rue. La villa est très bien équipée et aménagée, ce qui nous permet d'avoir notre propre espace ainsi qu'un espace où se regrouper. Nous espérons revenir l'année prochaine.

Excellent séjour dans un vrai château. Nous avons adoré nos vacances dans ce château ! Nous y sommes restés avec notre grande famille et avons adoré les options pour les enfants à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur. Le propriétaire était très sympathique et nous a accueillis personnellement le premier jour. Il y avait une tyrolienne que les enfants ont adoré ainsi qu'un certain nombre d'autres activités intérieures et extérieures. Je recommande fortement cette expérience à d'autres familles.
Une belle maison et un jardin qui nous ont permis de passer un moment très relaxant dans ce magnifique environnement. Ma famille a séjourné à La Barde une quinzaine de jours en 2018 et nous y retournons entre amis en 2019. La maison est bien aménagée pour accueillir deux familles et un grand nombre d'enfants. Le jardin et le jardin sont particulièrement bien entretenus. Le salon donne directement sur une pelouse, idéale pour surveiller les jeunes enfants, et le vaste terrain offre beaucoup d'espace à explorer pour les enfants. Le cadre est calme mais facilement accessible depuis Ribérac.
We have just returned from a wonderful 2 week stay. The gite is very well appointed with lots of games, which our daughter really enjoyed. We especially enjoyed the warm swimming pool (cleaned daily), summer kitchen, beautiful garden and multiple outside seating areas. It is very well located and within easy reach of some beautiful Bastide villages. We especially liked Villareal and Eymet. Special thanks to Jean and Martin, who are perfect hosts and on hand to provide recommendations if needed. The local village of Lauzun is within a five-minute walk and we recommend the boulangerie and weekly table gourmands held during the summer. We are already planning a return visit!
Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux! Les images ne peuvent pas représenter pleinement la beauté de la maison, de la piscine et du cadre depuis la colline avec vue sur la rivière et la vallée. L'aménagement de la maison a très bien fonctionné pour nous, car chacune de nos familles avait sa propre aile avec plusieurs chambres et salles de bains. Nous sommes reconnaissants pour l'aide avec l'organisation des chefs et des baby-sitters (qui étaient fantastiques), les hôtes ont été proactifs pour s'assurer que nous passions un excellent séjour. L'emplacement est excellent aussi, car à proximité de deux jolies villes avec de bonnes boulangeries et restaurants, près de Sarlat, Domme et La Roque-Gageac, bonne base pour visiter les grottes préhistoriques, les excursions en rivière, les vignobles, etc. On ne recommandera que trop cette maison!
We would like to very highly recommend this grand idillic property in the tranquil rural setting of the Lot Valley. The quietness and peacefulness of the house and grounds is the perfect place to completely unwind, to read, draw, play boules, table tennis or relax with the family by the poolside area. The market town of Villeréal was particularly vibrant and trips into the Dordogne to Beynac for example is only an hour away. There is an abundance of local wines and vineyards to visit with exquisite cheeses and bread from the local markets. A thoroughly enjoyable holiday. We have returned totally refreshed and relaxed!
Thanks for a great stay and making us feel so welcome - you were fantastic hosts. The accommodation was spotless and provided for every requirement. We really enjoyed the spaciousness of the Loft and the wonderful gardens, and of course the pool! Hopefully we will see you again in the future!
Un accueil très sympathique. Le lieu est très calme tout en permettant les visites des sites touristiques. La cuisine est très bien équipée. Nous avons apprécié de découvrir l'histoire familiale (qui gère le musée Napoléon tout proche)
Spent a wonderful and relaxing 2 weeks in this villa last year and have just booked to return again this summer. The villa is modern, spacious and very well equipped and with internet and satellite it fully met the needs of our teenagers. The outdoor area with pool is beautiful, well maintained and private. The location is within walking distance of the lovely village of Fitou and a short drive to the beaches and many other attractions. Communication with the owner Julie has been prompt, easy and helpful. We would highly recommend this villa and are looking forward to our next visit!
We have just returned from a fantastic holiday in Fitou, staying in this lovely and comfortable villa. I agree with other reviewers, the pictures do not do the property justice. It is spacious with a very high finish throughout maintaining a very homely feel. Our party consisted of 2 families with 4 kids (6, 6, 2 and 2), they loved it. As for the area, well it's a really special region of France. The location is perfect for day trips to the regions finest attractions (Carcassonne, Collioure, Gruissan etc...) and equally relaxing staying local. Fitou and nearby Leucate Village are charming and the local beaches are lovely, unspoilt and crowd free. There is as much or as little to do here as you'd like. We will certainly be coming back to the area and hopefully to this villa again.

We have very much enjoyed our morning coffees, lunches and dinners on the terrace. We have relaxed and read lots of books, which is just what we needed. At La Picholine, we felt like God in France as usual. From the sunny terrace, with a glass of wine in hand, a cheese nearby, we enjoyed the vines in the valley below us in ‘deafening’ silence, watched the olives come out of the blossom and listened to the cheerful twittering of the birds. The flat of the ever friendly and helpful hosts Esther and Leonard is furnished with taste. A touch of nostalgia with the look of today. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom is comfortable. Everything not only looks new, but is new. From the first moment, we felt at home here. The nearby forests invite you to go for a nice walk. By the way, you can walk everywhere in the area. Tip: the route along the medieval village of La Roque-sur-Ceze with the waterfalls nearby. In the village of Tresques, near Domaine Cadignac, we imagined ourselves in the France of old. A medieval tower with an exhibition of contemporary art, a bakery and grocery shop, a water spring where the villagers tap their daily drinking water and a good winemaker. Where do you still find these villages? The residence is conveniently located for visiting larger cities. Half an hour’s drive and you are in Orange with memories of the Dutch royal house or in the papal city of Avignon, where you can browse in one of those real French bric-a-brac markets in a suburb every Saturday morning. Or you can walk around Nîmes Collesseum after an hour’s drive and have visited the impressive aqueduct built by Romans on the way there. The ancient city centre of Nîmes and of historic Avignon are also an eldorado for funshoppers. In short, the fully equipped and rustic L'Oliveraie was an ideal base for us to (re)discover French nature and culture. We will definitely come back here again!
Beautifully converted and furnished house with two lovely gîtes, a swimming pool and terraces. The wide views over the vineyards are unprecedented. The owners again make something very beautiful !!!
