Wow, what a huge privilege to be the first entry into what we know will become a book full of compliments, acclaim and thanks to a very special couple who are creating a very special place. The house and gardens are an amazing reflection of the style and care and attention to detail that Russell and Karen are putting into what we know will become one of Languedoc's gems. Their un-intrusive but 'nothing is too much trouble' nature brings a relaxed and caring environment. The Loft is a lovely haven to relax in and contemplate the beautiful world around you. We look forward to returning and wish you all the very best.

Wonderful house, garden and weather, it met all our expectations and more.
What a stunning location. We have had a wonderful week and extremely sad to be leaving this idyllic spot. The house is incredibly well appointed and kitted out with everything we could possibly have needed. We spent the week relaxing and fitting in the odd wine tasting, horse ridding lessons for our two girls and visiting the brilliant goat farm! Thank you so much for the incredible stay!
Nous avons passé de nombreuses et heureuses vacances en France, mais comme cette année c'est notre 40e anniversaire de mariage, nous avons pensé que nous devrions chercher un endroit vraiment spécial - et nous l'avons trouvé ! La maison est un délice et le jardin est le plus bel endroit où se reposer et se détendre. La campagne environnante est très paisible et charmante et nous avons beaucoup apprécié les villes et villages voisins. L'abbaye de Fontevraud a été particulièrement remarquable, et les châteaux de Saumur, Chinon et Angers, que nous avons visités pour la dernière fois il y a plus de 30 ans, valaient tous la peine d'être visités à nouveau - tant de travaux de restauration ont été effectués dans les années qui ont suivi. Nous avons aussi aimé la Corniche Angevine qui longe la rive sud de la Loire entre Rochefort et Challones, et les nombreux vignobles. Un grand merci pour votre accueil chaleureux et votre aimable hospitalité.
Nous avons voyagé toute notre vie et avons récemment décidé de changer. Au lieu de partir en randonnée ou de partir en vacances sans cesse en déplacement, nous avons essayé de louer une maison pour nous en servir de base. Nous ne pourrions pas être plus heureux de notre décision, mais le mérite revient en grande partie à cette magnifique villa et à Philippe, un hôte vraiment extraordinaire. Notre seule crainte est que la barre soit désormais placée si haut que les futures locations en pâtiront. Maureilhan, bien que peu importante en elle-même, est parfaitement située pour des excursions dans la région, que ce soit à Sète, Béziers, Roquebrun, Sérignan ou Montpellier. Une dernière remarque : bien que nous ayons loué la villa pour nous-mêmes, nous avons eu trois groupes d'amis qui sont passés quelques jours chacun. Avec ses quartiers séparés, la villa est parfaite pour deux ou trois couples. Les dîners fournis par Philippe à Pour Pas ont été des moments forts. Alors merci, Philippe. Nous n'aurions pas pu nous amuser davantage.
We’re sad to be leaving this beautiful place, have had such a relaxing week lying in the beautiful garden, pottering around your thoughtfully equipped house, have loved every minute here - thank you! And thanks to Nathalie and Mike who were so lovely and helpful.
The most beautiful house, with stunning views, starry nights and hooting owls - what bliss! We were so lucky to find this little piece of heaven and the sun came out too! Happy days en famille! What holidays are made for.
Juste pour vous dire que la propriété était exceptionnelle et que nous la recommandons vivement à d'autres familles. Elle était idéale pour les jeunes enfants et avoir une salle de bain dans chaque chambre était exceptionnel.
Quelles vacances incroyables ! Le Pigat était magnifique et très bien équipé avec des petites attentions particulières, ce qui a rendu notre séjour spécial. La livraison de pain était un délice absolu. Beaucoup de souvenirs précieux au bord de la piscine et nous avons même trouvé la grotte ! Visites également à Bergerac, Périgueux, Monbazillac, Mouleydier, Issigeac, Sarlat-la-Canéda, Domme, Château de Bridoire, Saint-Émilion et Brantôme. Sans oublier Eymet et Trémolat. Tous de beaux endroits qui méritent une visite. De nombreux restaurants en particulier aussi. Certains rustiques, certains gastronomiques. Cela va nous manquer d'être au chaud, au bord de la piscine et dans un cadre magnifique. Merci beaucoup.
Juste un petit mot pour dire un grand merci aux propriétaires pour avoir rendu nos vacances en Languedoc, Occitanie si mémorables. Non seulement vous avez une très belle maison dans un endroit fantastique, mais votre hospitalité, votre soutien et vos conseils nous ont permis de nous détendre et de profiter pleinement de notre séjour. Certainement nos meilleures vacances en famille!
Perfect stay. A very high quality renovation where stone blends with wood and contemporary furniture. A huge and ideal porch for dinner, barbecue and admire the countryside and hillsides on one side and a pool enchanted in this "Provencal farmhouse" on the other. Very high quality amenities and bedding. The sober and neat decoration with touches of contemporary art ensures a soothing balance and conducive to rest. A spacious cathedral living room with a stunning solid wood table. Here and there, small details in the amenities and decor (a special mention in the toilet of the master suite, I'll let you discover it). In addition, Christophe is very friendly and very attentive to his hosts. In short, this stay in the countryside between two seas delighted us all.

A perfect gite to spend a relaxed holiday. We loved each area of the Gite and felt very spoilt to have such a large area to ourselves. The attention to detail inside the gite gives a real homely feeling. The pool provided a lot of entertainment, and again very well presented. Debbie, the host, couldn't do enough for us and made sure we had everything we could possibly need. I can't recommend it/her highly enough. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
We stayed in this beautiful house in June of this year Wow what a find ! Situated in the magnificent village of Pezenas the house is only a few minutes walk away from amazing antique shops , Boulangeries, and craft shops. The house itself is perfect throughout with a great outdoor pool and lovely outdoor area for eating and even has separate games room too ! Carcassonne and Montpellier are easily accessible and should be explored! So much to do in the area, we will be back! Would highly recommend.
This flat was wonderful. Location is great, 5 minute drive from Beaulieu, 10 minute walk to train station. Coffee and snacks right at the edge of the property and a few restaurants within walking distance. Very quiet area. Right on the water. This flat had absolutely everything we could want to enjoy our stay. Kitchen is a nice size and has all amenities. The two bedrooms were great. Dining area and living room were spacious and comfortable and the balcony was large and nicely furnished. Washer and dryer were convenient to have. Communication with Ben and the owner was easy. The place also came with beach chairs. The only clarification I’d make is that the bathroom is one toilet, one shower and one sink.
Nous avons choisi cette propriété pour sa piscine et son espace extérieur et nous n'avons pas été déçus. C'est un endroit magnifique qui a rendu nos vacances si spéciales. Tout est si bien entretenu et les propriétaires ont pensé à tant de choses. On voit qu'ils en sont très fiers. Nous avons adoré utiliser la machine à café et la confiture maison était délicieuse. Nous avons adoré nos barbecues du soir sur la terrasse sous l'auvent, mais sauter et jouer dans la piscine était le top. Des souvenirs pour toute une vie. Merci beaucoup.
Endroit somptueux, accueil chaleureux, tout est propice au calme et à la sérénité. Une campagne avec aucune habitation autour, bref la campagne comme je l'aime.
On a adoré la maison! Très équipée très bien décorée, I extérieur est incroyable avec un espace au bord de la piscine très agréable. Et le coin est magnifique.
It hardly seems two minutes since we were here in the summer - time goes so fast! As ever, we have had a lovely time and have had some splendid lunches at all our favourite restaurants. The weather was really very good for October - only the odd shower. As always, thank you for your wonderful hospitality - you are such good company.
Nous vous remercions de nous avoir permis de passer une semaine dans votre magnifique villa. La météo aurait pu être plus clémente, mais c'était agréable et nous avons facilement pu revisiter les villes et sites du Languedoc que nous connaissons bien. La Panouille (le restaurant du village accessible à pied) a été un véritable succès.
Merci pour une quinzaine fantastique ! C'était un endroit merveilleux pour célébrer un anniversaire spécial avec des amis et la famille. La maison était magnifique et nous avons apprécié l'atmosphère luxueuse et la décoration de bon goût. Les petites attentions ont été très appréciées : des livraisons de petit-déjeuner au repas et au cadre incroyables du Pourquoi Pas. Nous avons également apprécié la visite de la grotte de Saint-Chinian. Nous avons apprécié le repas au restaurant familial La Tournelle, un service amical et des prix très raisonnables. Pour un autre déjeuner gastronomique avec une vue impressionnante, nous avons apprécié le Tour à Monterey. Un déjeuner à prix raisonnable. Merci pour tout.
We had a wonderful stay at Manoir de Fouilloux, my retired parents and children aged 8 and 11 had a truly relaxing stay with plenty to see and do locally. The house had plenty of space inside and lots of different areas outside to eat and relax. In particular we enjoyed spending time outside in the Moroccan terrace and kitchen and especially the evening when Ian and Hugh cooked for us when we took advantage of this as an extra option. Ian and Hugh were super helpful informing us of the local area which suited all ages so there was plenty to do for everyone. I would recommend hiring a car to explore the beautiful villages. The pool was well used in such hot weather with plenty of space for us all to relax and read as well as splash about with the children. The area was lovely and quiet so we were all able to switch off and spend quality time together as a family, plus with Ian and Hugh nearby we felt we had our own personal concierge service! They also provide a very useful guide which is in the house and also sent before our arrival. There has been so much attention to detail carried out in and outside the house and Ian and Hugh were fantastic with our many questions we had as we loved hearing about the work that went into it. We absolutely loved our time there and our 8 year old is now asking for a dog the same as Oscar! Thank you to Ian and Hugh for giving us such a memorable holiday, we felt truly spoilt staying in such a beautiful and well refurbished traditional house and can't wait to return one day!

Un séjour incroyable dans une propriété absolument magnifique. Une attention particulière portée aux détails, tant esthétiques que pratiques, ainsi qu'une hospitalité et une générosité de premier ordre de la part de nos hôtes, Gary et Mark. Nous avons passé une semaine tellement reposante et reposante, et nous y retournons, totalement convertis au Cognac !
Très belle région et super logement. Le logement était comme décrit dans l'annonce et correspondait à mes attentes.
Wonderful two weeks stay. So peaceful at Mas de Pitou and so much nearby that we never had need to travel beyond where we could reach by foot or bike. The house manager Carole couldn't have been more helpful.
Un grand gîte familial avec beaucoup d'espace pour nous tous. Nous avons fait de belles balades par ici, aux gorges, à Orpierre et Rosans. Nous avond également réussi à intégrer des temps de farniente autour de la piscine, des bains de soleil et de la lecture. Des vacances parfaites ! J'espère revenir...
