Thank you for facilitating a wonderful holiday. The beautiful house, views, interior made for an unforgettable week. We recommend going to Montauban for a fun day out for all the family, we really appreciate the accessibility options around the house, making it possible for our whole family (kids, growups and grandparents) to make treasured memories, we hope to be back soon!
Quatrième séjour au Tesquet. Pete a été, une fois de plus, un hôte exceptionnel. Nous étions venus en vacances chercher le calme et la tranquillité dans un cadre magnifique, et c'est exactement ce que nous avons trouvé. La piscine a été un véritable soulagement face à la chaleur accablante. Le gîte, comme toujours, est impeccable et nous adorons y venir ! À bientôt en juillet prochain, Pete !
Quelle merveilleuse semaine. La Malardier est le lieu de villégiature de rêve. Nous avons goûté à de la nourriture de qualité supérieure, nagé dans la piscine sous un soleil brûlant, bu à notre faim. Cadre incroyable. Belle vue. Nous nous souviendrons de cette semaine pour toujours. Nous aimerions réserver le Malardier pour toujours. À l'année prochaine - vive la France.
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour à la Maison des Cordeliers, c'est l'endroit idéal pour profiter du calme et de la tranquillité après une journée de découverte. Nous espérons y retourner !
Nous sommes arrivés dans une grande maison qui correspondait parfaitement — et même au-delà — aux photos. C'est la première fois que nous trouvons une location de vacances aussi bien équipée en vaisselle et en ustensiles de cuisine. Comme nous formions une famille nombreuse avec de jeunes enfants, cet environnement a grandement contribué à la réussite de notre séjour. Nous remercions sincèrement notre hôte pour cette générosité.
A beautiful house which we have enjoyed, lovely to swim in the pool, enjoy the views and sunshine. Very well equipped kitchen much appreciated, we shall return.
You have been incredible hosts, communication and recommendations were excellent. The house exceeded all of our expectations and we all had an incredible time making good use of all that was on offer! Stuart and I particularly enjoyed the table tennis which got quite competitive! We most definitely will be back again soon!
Wonderful holiday in this beautiful and stylish home! The house has been refurbished to a very high specification and the bedrooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are luxuriously contemporary. The kitchen is impressively well equipped. There is so much to do in the area which is steeped in history and blessed with natural beauty. The Roman ruins at Vaison are a must- see. We were amazed to find the largest archaeological site in France just down the road and the medieval town, on the other side of the river, with its winding streets, is charming. We found it hard to tear ourselves away from the stunning views and the peace and tranquility of the gardens and pool but outings to the hilltop villages of Seguret and Venasque and a wine tasting in Gigondas or Châteauneuf du Pape are experiences not to be missed!
This lovely home, just on the outskirts of the old historic town of Pezenas, is everything we hoped it would be. A short stroll into the town centre with bars, restaurants and bakeries a plenty! All offering great value ! Aside from the location, the house is well equipped, clean and very comfortable. There is air conditioning in the bedrooms. A lovely sitting area outside for outdoor dining. The sun is over the pool and on the sun lounges well into the evening. The Games room was well used and a great area for teenagers to have space for themselves. The area has much to offer, something for everyone to enjoy! Walking, cycling or lazy days on the beach in Sete or Agde (both offer water sports).Kayaking in Saint Guilherme de Desert or wine tasting in La Croix Belle or Picpoul (neither to far from the house.) The market day on Saturday is fabulous! Thank you to owners and managers!
Belle villa. Nous avons passé un séjour fabuleux dans cette magnifique villa. C'est dans un joli village calme. La piscine est parfaite pour deux et la villa est très confortable. Nous reviendrons certainement bientôt.

A Perfect Family Retreat – Exceeded Our Expectations! We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful villa and it truly exceeded our expectations. The photos on the website don’t fully capture the charm and spaciousness of this property. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. La Ferme Éclaircie is brilliantly laid out, offering plenty of open space, which was perfect for our family of five. The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped, making meal preparation a breeze. Each room was spotless, tidy and provided ample storage space for all our holiday belongings. The games room was a fantastic bonus, keeping our children entertained during the occasional rainy day. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible pool. Our three boys absolutely loved it and spent hours splashing around. The gentle slope of the pool was especially helpful for our youngest, who learned to swim during this holiday - an unforgettable milestone for our family. We also enjoyed the outdoor seating area, which was ideal for both daytime relaxation and evening games as we watched the sun set. The peaceful surroundings and stunning views added to the tranquility of our stay. La Ferme Éclaircie location is perfect for exploring the local area, which offers plenty of activities to keep a family like ours busy. Whether you’re looking for adventure or relaxation, this villa is a perfect choice. Overall, our stay was wonderful and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended!
We had a great time at Villa Lavinière. Both the house and its views were amazing. The hills around the house were lovely to explore and we really enjoyed the facilities at the house itself (pool and pétanque). Parc du Haut-Languedoc, Minerve, Saint-Pons-de-Thomières, the Montagne Noire and Carcassonne were all highly recommended. We were also lucky enough to see the Tour de France passing by.
Charming place and a charming host. Christophe was so friendly and helpful to us. The house had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. I really recommend this place as a wonderful holiday getaway.
If / when we return to continue exploring this lovely area of France, we would hope to be able to stay in 'The Loft'. Russell and Karen have been very welcoming and helpful, but unobtrusive and nothing seems too much trouble. Perfect hosts! Sad to be leaving after only a week.
Superbe hébergement dans un endroit fabuleux ! Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour – le gîte était tout simplement parfait pour nous. Au calme, avec de grands espaces extérieurs et une belle piscine. Le gîte est très bien équipé et meublé avec goût, avec tout le nécessaire pour un séjour loin de chez soi. Mark a été très accueillant et nous a bien conseillés pour nos besoins locaux. Nous avons profité de ses relations pour visiter une incroyable distillerie de cognac/pineau locale et avons terminé la journée en cuisinant au gîte par Reza Mahammad (chef réputé au répertoire culinaire exceptionnel). Ce moment a été d'autant plus agréable lorsque Reza a partagé avec nous l'histoire et les origines des plats que nous avons dégustés – un vrai régal ! Nous recommandons la propriété comme une excellente option pour les couples ou les familles qui recherchent le calme tout en étant à proximité de nombreuses villes et attractions intéressantes.
First things first - Karen, Russell and the girls (Mack and Mabel) are wonderful hosts. Warm, friendly, thoughtful and yet discreet. They love what they're doing and it shows as nothing is too much trouble. Their enthusiasm for their ventures (current and future) is infectious. Secondly is the 'Loft du Vigneron' - a fabulous property offering everything - and more - that you could hope for. Karen and Russell's sense of style has been imprinted on it and their attention to detail has left nothing wanting. Every comfort has been considered from the fabulous welcoming pack to 'The White Company' range of toiletries. The terrace was our favourite place with the sun streaming through the roof and the warm breeze cooling us down. Rieux-Minervois is a typical French village and perfectly situated to explore the entire Minervois region from Carcassonne in the West, East to the Mediterranean, and all the lovely historical villages North and South. In conclusion, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful property with the perfect hosts - highly recommended without hesitation. Our very best wishes for every success in you new venture. Une properiété absolument délicieuse dans une partie du monde magnifique. La propriété est très bien entretenue et rustique. Je peux la recommander à tout groupe envisageant un séjour en Dordogne. Notre séjour a été en mi-avril lorsque le temps commence à s'améliorer. 26 degrés lors de notre dernier jour, parfait!
Merci pour cette semaine inoubliable ! La maison et le jardin étaient magnifiques. Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir un temps splendide et la piscine a fait le bonheur des enfants. Magnifique décor, calme sans être loin du centre de Meursault à pied . Pénélope et John font le maximum pour que tout soit parfait et sont très sympas. A refaire certainement.

Une semaine en famille absolument merveilleuse sous le soleil ! La Cigalière a répondu à toutes nos attentes. L'agencement et les équipements permettaient aussi bien de profiter de moments conviviaux en famille que de s'isoler un peu de temps en temps. Nous n'avons fait qu'effleurer les richesses de la région ; je suis donc certain que nous reviendrons. La Panouille (la pizzeria du coin) a fait l'unanimité. À deux reprises ! Merci et bien à vous.
