We came here to celebrate a couple of family birthdays and get some time together. From the moment we walked in the door we quickly came to realise what an amazing place this is. The view from the kitchen window (bu the sink) literally brought my sister to tears. ... in a very positive way. This week has allowed us to explore the area to some degree, but with so much on offer around and in the property, there was little incentive to go anywhere. The difficulty now will be to keep this gem of a property a secret from others, as we will undoubtedly tell everyone about this fantastic place. Thank you for so generously sharing your house. Nous sommes de retour d'une superbe semaine à la Maison Soulette à Thézan-les-Béziers. La maison était exactement comme sur les photos et la description, parfaite pour notre famille. Beaucoup de chambres et de salles de bains, une belle cuisine et un salon confortable. Les terrasses, le jardin et la vue étaient tous magnifiques. Le temps était ensoleillé et chaud, nous avons donc passé de nombreuses journées à paresser au bord de la piscine. Nos filles ont profité pleinement de la piscine chauffée et se sont beaucoup amusées à jouer au tennis de table.
Loved seeing you both and was so much fun to enjoy Jenn's cooking, sunshines, minerals, highlights was the little mountain restaurant of giving French to French people. Thank you for having us!
Super contact, nous avons fait une arrivée autonome avec toutes les instructions données par avance. La maison est magnifique et très, très propre. Je recommande fortement !
Nous avons passé une semaine des plus merveilleuses au Malardier. Nous avons apprécié chaque minute. L'agencement de la maison est une aubaine et a permis aux trois générations de la famille d'avoir leur propre espace. Merci beaucoup!
Nous venons de rentrer d'un merveilleux séjour de 3 semaines à La Fontaine. Votre propriété est située dans un endroit si magnifique et tranquille et vous l'avez décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Nous avons également apprécié que vous fassiez tellement confiance aux personnes qui le louent. De plus, nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'aide de Marjorie et Dave pour quelques problèmes mineurs. De toute évidence, nous sommes maintenant soumis aux restrictions de quarantaine du Royaume-Uni, mais nous pensons que c'est un petit prix à payer pour le beau séjour que nous avons passé. Merci beaucoup pour nous avoir donné l'opportunité de séjourner à La Fontaine.

Tiraillés entre la campagne, les châteaux, les vignobles, les marchés et la marche, le canoë, la baignade, ou la simple détente dans le jardin au bord de la piscine : trop de choix ! Merci également pour la bouteille de pétillant à notre arrivée et la touche personnelle de roses dans chaque chambre - tout a été très apprécié !
Merci. Ce furent encore deux semaines fabuleuses aux Granels pour nous. Et nous avons adoré les nouveautés: le bain à remous et le terrain de beach-volley.

As per other reviews the house was great with stunning views. All the things you need to have a great holiday. The weather was still hot with some days in the mid 30s, so we took advantage of the swimming pool and relaxed around the house. The house is a great location for cycling, there is the obvious challenge of Mount Ventoux and there are some excellent roads in the surrounding area with stunning scenery. For those interested in wine then I would highly recommend Paul from Rhône wine tours. He came to the house and we did wine tasting with him and we learnt about wines of the Rhône valley, while the kids played in the pool. Great if you don't want to take a tour with kids at the winery.
Duras... I love cooking, the kitchen is wonderful and the city's market place is perfect for organising the perfect dinner.. the perfect kitchen is ready to prepare the table... the outdoor patio... the splendid terrace with a view of the valley or a dip in the swimming pool whilst having a barbecue!
C'est notre troisième visite à la Villa - nous commençons à nous sentir comme à la maison ! Un autre séjour merveilleux - nous avons encore passé un très bon moment et sommes désolés de laisser la paix et la tranquillité derrière nous. Merci à Frédéric comme toujours pour l'accueil très chaleureux, toujours là en cas de besoin. Tant de souvenirs à ramener à la maison et merci de nous avoir permis de rester dans votre belle maison.
We had a wonderful time at Château Grandchamp de Chablis in Burgundy and will certainly be back. All details of both the house and the care of the guests are carefully thought through and attended to and we had the perfect combination of privacy and feeling attended to while there. The property is beautiful and the owners have wonderful taste. The grounds have a myriad of eating spots and activities including swimming pool, tennis, lovely walks and a feeling of privacy. The owners are gracious and eager to be sure you have the resources to make the most of your stay with their long experience and knowledge of the area. A special holiday to experience a French home of this level and explore the extensive area of Burgundy not far from Paris. A rare find indeed!

Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful house - we have all enjoyed the beautiful home and gardens and all the attention to detail. We very much enjoyed the night market in Laparade although not really a market but more a fiesta! Very much recommend. A fantastic stay and wonderful house!

Nous avons réussi à voir nos amis à Brinon-sur-Sauldre, visité Saumur (vu le château et les feux d'artifice pour le 14 juillet) et avons également organisé un dîner sur place. (Nous avons également arrosé les petits pots près de la porte du jardin, tous les jours, les fleurs à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur de la maison ont été magnifiques !) Merci bien et au revoir !
It’s like staying with friends, with all the positives and none of the negatives! One of the things I think we will remember most about our trip are Karen and Russell. They gave our family the warmest of welcomes and ensured our stay was both comfortable and with a touch of luxury. Having never ventured to this part of France, it was fantastic to have the helpful suggestions for wineries not to be missed, activities for the kids, and the best places to eat. On the other side of the coin, we had our much-needed R&R. The oasis of peace and tranquility of the Loft, the gorgeous terrace for evening aperitifs, and alfresco dining, the extensive and beautiful gardens, and the sparkling azure gem of a pool! Thank you both for making our holiday so special. That cake : WOW! WOW! WOW! Despite all the fab patisserie, the kids still go on about that cake, Karen! Recipe, please!

Amazing! is the word. The Loft itself, you as hosts and the location. Our week has been wonderful and made all the better due to the exceptional care and attention you both put into this special place. Your warmth and hospitality exceeds expectations - we cannot thank you enough. We will look forward to returning to continue exploring.
This is the second time we had spent time at this property so we were a bit more familiar with area. I struggle to think of a better location to holiday than this area of Provence, it has everything, beautiful countryside, restaurants, vineyards and historic villages. One eats outside all the time as the evenings are warm and balmy and in this respect this property is blessed with a superb view looking across the valley to Vaison-la-Romaine and the Dentelles in the distance. There is complete privacy with the nearest neighbour being a considerable distance from the house. Inside the house is spacious and beautifully laid out contrasting with its former farmhouse origins. If you want relaxation but with loads to do in the area then I really cannot think of a better place to stay for a summer holiday.

We had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful home. The kitchen and living area was so spacious and comfortable and the outside space was equally ideal. The pool was delightful and spacious allowing the six of us to enjoy it at the same time. The kitchen had everything we could ask for - literally home from home. The only regret about this holiday was having only one week there as it wasn’t long enough! We most definitely would return.
