This is a beautiful property and it is well taken care of. We had everything we could possibly think of to enjoy an amazing weekend with family. I imagine this estate as a perfect venue for anything from a group holiday to a wedding. We would definitely stay again.
This was a great find for our annual French holiday. Your lovely house was perfect for the whole family, it was hard to get the kids out of the pool at the end of the day. Monflanquin is a great town, a real discovery with lots of great restaurants.
Gordon family and Mullaly family Thank you for letting us stay in this lovely farmhouse. The best days of the holiday were spent here in the farmhouse by the pool. The teens loved the gym and the tennis court. Such a lovely location. Much local excitement when the Tour de France (femmes) passed the driveway. What a fabulous day! Enjoyed the wine tour and our 2 meals out in Richelieu. The view from the terrace is exceptional and such a good place to drink coffee and welcome the morning or indeed the evening. Great family team here to spend much for a great visit.

Nous avons vraiment apprécié les belles vues et la campagne environnante : les couchers de soleil étaient incroyables. Le temps a été très clément avec nous avec des températures qui ont grimpé en flèche, les baignades dans la piscine étaient les bienvenues.
We had the most amazing stay with some friends in Château Entre-Deux-Mers. I was delighted by the charm of this château. The exterior is traditional. There is a lovely garden with swimming pool. We have some good memories taking an appetizer in the evenings outside! The rooms were spacious and decorated with a superb taste. But most of all : it's situated in the middle of vineyards; so great to do some cycling (bikes are available). So we can certainly recommend this place!
Juste un petit mot pour dire WOW - nous sommes époustouflés par votre maison ! C'est incroyable, nous voyageons en France chaque année depuis environ 10 ans mais nous savons déjà que ce sera la meilleure à ce jour ! Rien ne nous a déçu, nous sommes juste ravis - nous sommes des cuisiniers passionnés (de vrais gastronomes) et votre cuisine est parfaite. Après une promenade rapide dans le village nous revenions cuisiner notre premier souper traditionnel composé de pétoncles et de crevettes fraîches. Nous y avons passé trois semaines et avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour à la Maison Charvin. La villa elle-même est spacieuse et très bien présentée. De nombreux rangements, en particulier dans la cuisine, qui dispose d'un grand réfrigérateur-congélateur et beaucoup d'espace de rangement. La cuisine, et la maison en général, sont exceptionnellement bien équipées - en fait mieux que toutes celles dans lesquelles nous avons séjourné pendant plus de 10 ans de vacances en France. Toutes les chambres sont grandes, lumineuses et aérées, et toutes ont une salle de bain. Nous voyagions avec des adolescents et ils ont vraiment apprécié l'espace supplémentaire dans les chambres pour leur donner un peu plus d'intimité / d'espace par eux-mêmes. Il n'y a pas de WC au rez-de-chaussée de la maison - cependant, il y en a un au bord de la piscine, ce n'est donc pas un problème. Le jardin est privé et agréable pour s'y détendre, la plantation en fait un espace intéressant et relaxant. La piscine n'est pas immense, mais c'est bien pour se détendre et se rafraîchir, surtout le soir car elle est bien éclairée. Il y a de la place pour une petite voiture à l'extérieur de la villa, mais comme la nôtre est grande, nous l'avons laissée en bas de la route à environ 100 m, pratique et sûr. La villa est située au centre d'un village agréable et convivial. Il y a une épicerie très utile à distance de marche, mais la boulangerie a fermé peu de temps avant notre arrivée, et le bar ouvre apparemment rarement et est en vente - ce sont probablement des problèmes temporaires. Il y avait un certain nombre d'événements dans le village, avec un marché chaque mardi soir où nous avons aimé nous promener avant de nous asseoir avec un verre de vin. Carcassonne est à proximité et il y a beaucoup d'endroits à visiter dans la région. Notre expérience a été très positive et nous pensons certainement que la villa était d'un excellent rapport qualité-prix. Enfin, un mot sur notre hôte - Sharon vit dans un village voisin pendant l'été, et était super sympa et serviable, faisant des recommandations pour des sorties et réservant des restaurants pour nous. Cela a été très apprécié et nous a permis de profiter au maximum de notre séjour. Dans l'ensemble, nous recommandons chaleureusement!
It’s hard to know where to begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. Your property is so well set up and we made good use of the barbecue, tennis court, boules, darts, table tennis and of course, the pool which beats all other swimming pools we’ve ever had on holiday... and the shady areas when the sun got just that bit too hot. So much thought has obviously gone into it all and it made our holiday very special. The four teenage grandchildren we had with us had a ball and we all loved the Lot countryside, its villages and the sunflowers. How can you not be happy when you’ve got fields of them within a few steps from your door? The two Marches Gourmands we went to at Tournon and Saux were brilliant fun - the food on offer at Saux was particularly good and Tournon is such a pretty place. Our daughter loved going for early morning runs, seeing a hare and on two occasions, a deer, amongst sunflowers. Swimming in the Lot, cycling and canoeing are all on our list of favourite things we did. We also have a great picture of three of the red squirrels on the tree near the bolet - what a brilliant place for breakfast. Thank you so very much from all of us. Went to this beautiful holiday cottage for the second time. What a great experience again this time. We were warmly welcomed and our house felt like coming home again. Host and hostess Leo and Esther gave us great tips so that our holiday became a great experience again. The visit to Nîmes was impressively beautiful. I especially recommend visiting Avignon to everyone with its beautiful center and the cozy terraces around the market square. The swimming pool overlooking the vineyards is a pearl. The silence descends on you wonderfully in the evening. Truly unique. Thank you for another great holiday.
A totally unique experience staying in a tower with a wonderful panorama view of the sea. You can spend hours sitting on the balcony, watching the tide go in and out and the ships coming into La Havre in the distance. At night when the tide is in, the sound of the sea is fantastic and almost feels like you are sleeping on the beach. The tower itself is nicely decorated, clean and kitted out with everything you might need for a holiday. The furniture and fittings are intelligently laid out to maximise the space at all levels so it doesn't feel cramped. Villerville itself was a charming, quiet seaside town with a few bistros and shops, perfect for escaping the usual hoards of tourists elsewhere on the Normandy coast. Definitely worthy of 4.5 star rating and only reasons for not getting 5 stars are lack of free parking on site (although plenty on the side streets behind the tower) and some evenings when the tide is out you get the occasional teenagers listening to music on the sea front until late at night.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette propriété. Tout était conforme à nos attentes et même mieux. Les propriétaires, Benedict et Pierre Balteau, étaient très sympathiques et accueillants. Nous avons hâte de revenir ici lors de notre prochaine visite dans le Languedoc, en Occitanie et nous recommanderons certainement cette propriété à nos amis et à notre famille. Notre expérience avec Pure France.com a été très bonne et nous n'hésiterons pas à utiliser à nouveau vos services à l'avenir. Bravo !
Une belle trouvaille cette très jolie tour au bout du monde. Une vue à couper le souffle, des heures passées à regarder l'horizon et les bateaux passer. Nous nous souviendrons de cette superbe semaine pendant longtemps! Merci d'avoir redonner vie et magie à ce lieu.

What a wonderful holiday we have had. We are familiar with the region but La Tourouzelle offers the most amazing place for a holiday: fabulous views to the Pyrénées, a comfortable, well-equipped home and a fantastic pool! There is so much to do here - lovely bastide towns and villes perchées and lots of fêtes and festivals. We have particularly enjoyed the fête at Fanjeaux, the views from the Collégiale at Montréal, a late night walk around la Cité at Carcassonne, the fête du Cassoulet at Castelnaudary and the festival de Pétanque at Limoux. We look forward to another visit.
Nous avons espéré que l'embarras du choix du portefeuille de Pure France nous procure un lieu magique et vous n'avez pas failli. Nous aurions du mal à dire ce que nous avons le plus aimé - Ce n'est pas une maison de vacances, c'est une maison très appréciée et équipée et nous avons adoré la distinction. Un sans faute à tous les niveaux et précisément le remontant qu'il nous fallait. Merci pour un si bon service. On ne saurait davantage féliciter Pure France ou la Maison Charvin.

C'est vrai, la villa et la piscine sont bien plus belles en réalité que sur les photos. Nous nous sommes sentis très à l'aise dans votre superbe villa et ce fut un grand plaisir de vous rencontrer. Nous reviendrons certainement. Et si vous vous rendez à Zurich, vous devez venir nous rendre visite.
Notre séjour s'est très bien déroulé, comme nous nous y attendions. La maison était très bien et avait tout le confort nécessaire. Nous avons été ravis de l'aide apportée par Sarah et Dan. Ils sont très attentionnés et serviables.
Beautiful house, beautiful setting and wonderful location! We’ve had an amazing two weeks here and have loved both days here around the pool and some day trips out - Le Franqui beach, Carcassonne and our boys particularly enjoyed Lac’cro Park and the dinosaur museum at Esperaza. Thanks to Nathalie and Mike for always being on hand to help and answer any questions and for being so welcoming. We don’t want to leave!
It's hard to know where to start with this wonderful home, the inside and outside are so special its impossible to choose a 'best bit'! I didn't know this part of France at all and whilst it was a wonderful discovery, the château itself stands head and shoulders above its surroundings (literally) with his jaw dropping views. 360 degrees of rolling hills, almost no building in sight and just the sheep and their charming bells the only signs of neighbours. The pictures simply can't do it justice. The house itself is extremely luxurious in its proportions and furnishings. The main difference to other holiday homes is that it is so evidently a comfortable home. We had one rainy day on our trip and the excuse to be inside for the evening with the fire and comfortable sofa's was a great treat. The mixed accommodation is wonderful, with the farm house next to the château and the two charming cottages in the grounds. Very much one for a gang of friends or large family. The owners provide some brilliant suggestions on what to do when venturing further afield - should you want to! But there seem to be endless possibilities, in our brief 10 days we discovered so much and feel we could happily come back every year for 10 years and still be finding new spots. The castle at Foix is an absolute must for children and for adults, if you don't want to go parachuting after your market trip to beautiful Mirepoix the Michelin restaurant 8 minutes away in Camon is a must. But equally with the tennis court, heated pool, choice of terraces to eat on, chapel, lake and boat it would be entirely possible to spend a happy week going no where at all. Perhaps apart from a trip down the drive to Olivier and Marielle's informal shop. Heaven.
Je voulais juste dire à quel point nous avons apprécié nos vacances à la villa. Elle était impeccable et parfaitement située pour accéder au supermarché, à la pâtisserie, aux plages et à de nombreux restaurants de qualité et à quelques pas de la gare - que nous avons fréquentée la plupart du temps pour aller visiter d'autres stations balnéaires. La villa était considérablement plus grande que ce à quoi nous nous attendions et était bien équipée pour notre séjour. L'emplacement résidentiel calme était un avantage après des journées bien remplies. Dans l’ensemble, c’est une propriété parfaite. Merci beaucoup.
De chers amis parisiens nous ont accueillis dans votre château. Ils n'auraient pas pu nous offrir une expérience plus mémorable, magique et absolument incroyable !

Une perle rare ! Quelle trouvaille ! Vous avez pensé à tout, jusqu'aux sachets de lavande dans les tiroirs. Merci beaucoup de nous avoir permis de séjourner dans votre ravissante maison dans le plus charmant des endroits. Nous aimons le canard et Sarlat offre le meilleur. Découvrir la campagne environnante a été un pur plaisir. Nous avons eu la chance de passer le mois de juin à Sarlat et avons apprécié le village animé par la musique. Nous espérons revenir et vous remercions.
What would you tell your friends about your holiday ? It was a very pleasant stay. A very quiet house, very well equipped, with a much-appreciated pool. Beautiful scenery. What was the best thing about your stay ? The pool. The view over the landscape. The outdoor space. The air conditioning. What could we do better for your next stay? A pitcher/carafe (but perhaps we just didn’t find it). Were there any appliances you really wished you had? It was more than perfect. How was the comfort of your rooms, pillows, and beds? Impeccable. Do you have any comments on the garden, pool, plancha, etc.? Wonderful. Missing: the table game, and a tree under whose shade one could have lunch. How do you rate the information provided in this booklet? Perfect and complete. Is there anything important missing? One of our friends suggested an electric bike. Another thought that suggestion was excessive. How could we improve it? I note that the useful information, sometimes highlighted, already seems extremely well presented — also topographic details, routes, activities, plans for next year. Do you have any other comments to help us serve you better when you return next year? Looking forward to future visits. Final remark: We thank you for this very good stay in this very beautiful and interesting house, whose collection of books caught our attention.

Thank you for letting us stay at this lovely stylish villa, one of the best we have ever stayed at. So well equipped, we wanted for nothing. Nardia recommended ‘Le Grand Frais’ supermarket at Carcassonne where we were able to buy some wonderful fresh produce on arrival and which saw us through the week. An absolutely fantastic place! Our week went so incredibly quickly. It is our second time in the Carcassonne area, but still so much to do and see. This time we discovered the Gorges de Galamus and the labyrinths at Nebias. Amazing! Short treks around the beautiful Villelongue were also so nice. We loved the compost recycling bin at the end of the commune. Very green! Thanks to Mike for sorting the awning for us on a very windy Sunday. Hope to be back!
