Un grand merci pour le panier que vous nous avez laissé, nous l'apprécions ! On l'a vite compris : cette semaine sera bien trop courte…
Plenty of room for the whole family. Lovely outdoor dining area with scenic pond. BBQ was great. The swimming pool area was beautiful, very clean and child friendly. There was enough seating in all spaces for the whole family. Thank you for a very enjoyable holiday.
Stayed at the property for two weeks at the end of July. The property has been beautifully renovated and most things are on hand at the villa. The house has everything that’s needed for family and friends to enjoy from a great kitchen to a nice garden and patio and good sized pool. All in all this is a beautiful house in a lovely setting and I would certainly return.

Nous avons passé de nombreuses heures heureuses à profiter de votre magnifique jardin et de votre piscine, tandis que la découverte de la campagne environnante à vélo a été idyllique. Les points forts ont certainement été la visite du château Azay le Rideau, le zoo de Beauval (à une heure et demie en voiture) et un déjeuner merveilleusement paisible au bord de la rivière sur La Route du Sel. Merci pour votre incroyable hospitalité, votre générosité et votre accueil. Nous espérons vraiment revenir l'année prochaine!
Two splendid weeks relaxing and sight seeing with a very beautiful home to come back too. We can't fault the house, we especially loved the kitchen, pool room, swimming pool and of course the marvellous views.
Magnifique ancienne bergerie, spacieuse, lumineuse et comfortable. La vue est incroyable avec sa grande piscine chauffée et son parc. Tout est proche en voiture, supermarchés, villages typiques, restaurants et excusions multiples. Et pour conclure les propriétaires sont à l’écoute et absolument charmants!
Nous avons adoré ce calme ! Merci beaucoup d'avoir fait de notre semaine ici la meilleure que nous ayons jamais passée en France. Toute votre aide et vos conseils nous ont permis de passer une semaine parfaite. Nous pouvons certainement recommander la Route du Sel. La location de vélos à Gennes était également un excellent moyen de découvrir La Loire. Merci aussi d'avoir si bien entretenu la maison et le jardin. Nous espérons revenir!

So much space for everyone. Personally some softer pillows would have been appreciated. Everything you need for a holiday with children, outside and in. Catering excellent. Faultless service.
We have had a very enjoyable time here for the past two weeks really busy doing nothing! Very hot and very grateful for the wonderful pool. House had everything we could need. Your book of useful info was terrific help

Amazing! is the word. The Loft itself, you as hosts and the location. Our week has been wonderful and made all the better due to the exceptional care and attention you both put into this special place. Back again! We loved our stay here so much we decided to come back and it did not disappoint. The kids loved the pool and we enjoyed both local walks (marked maps provided at the house). Impressive thunder storms and lovely blue skies. Would recommend Castres, Revel and Hautpoul for local trips (all within 30 to 40 minutes drive).
We booked Château Velouse as we love the Loire region. Definitely not disappointed... the welcome from the hosts Claire and Phil was lovely, the rooms were huge in size and height, great ensuites, it can hold 16 adults plus 4 children. Loads of space in the extensive grounds which are walled and fenced, we felt very secure and great for children and our dog to explore. The large swimming pool was fantastic and spent a lot of time there lounging on luxury sun beds under the umbrellas (30C plus during our stay). We had some wonderful evening meals during our stay either outside patio area which seated us all with lovely lighting or inside in the huge dining room. As a group of family and friends we took turns to cook which was great fun and the kitchen is very well equipped to cater for a large group. We had trips out to Bourges, Sancerre and a day on a local golf course, all recommended
Many thanks for a wonderful week, we have so enjoyed this lovely house and the beautiful area around it, we wish we had more than a week to see more of what we wanted, we enjoyed the circular walk through the mixed pine forest, it’s very pretty and only 2 km long. We loved l Auberge du petit bistro in Vinsobres (a 2/3 minute drive), this was our favourite eating experience, while Vaison la Romain was lovely to visit. Many thanks for bringing us to all these wonderful experiences.
Stunning - amazing space in and out with many places for children and adults to hide! Great, from well equipped kitchen to playroom. Childproofed but still lots of fun toys for dry and wet days. Great showers and all working brilliantly. Had a fantastic week - Very relaxed and love the set up here. Thank you all.
Two weeks of idyllic bliss in the rolling French countryside with superb weather to atch. As a family young and old, we enjoyed the stunning house, garden, pool and views. To agree with the previous guests, Laparade is the place to be on a Tuesday evening. Days spent at Biscarosse beach and lakeside both worth the journey. Would also highly recommend in house beauty treatments. We had massages and facials. Fantastic. Just ask Olivia.
Maison Bourg Calès is most definitely a five-star property. It is a beautiful property, both inside and outside, beautifully clean and fully equipped with everything you could possible need for a wonderful holiday. We also really appreciated the extra touches - the bottle of own label wine that awaited us, the basket full of towels for the pool and the store cupboard of kitchen essentials. We loved the saltwater pool. We would happily recommend it to anyone wishing to holiday in the Dordogne and looking for a well-located, high quality property.
Just wanted to say what a great three weeks we’ve had at Le Grand Verger. The house is superb… we are looking at a repeat holiday, returning next year Once again, an outstanding holiday in outstanding surroundings, thank you!

Pete was a great host and made us all feel really welcome from the start. We made full use of the wonderful pool. Ella (6) learnt to swim without armbands by the end of our week and Dhilan (4) spent more time in the water than anyone. We had a slow-paced week which suited us perfectly, but did enjoy Chateau Castelnaud with the kids and market day in Monflanquin, especially the Loubet seller.
