We are a family of two adults and three teens and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Le Somail! The house was very well equipped with everything we needed and there was plenty of space inside and out. The pool area is very sheltered and private - having the pool to cool us down on the hottest of days was certainly appreciated! We enjoyed being so close to the canal and seeing the boats sailing past, it’s a beautiful location. There is a good selection of places to eat and drink within a few minutes walk of the house, yet the house was very peaceful and we were never disturbed by any noise from the restaurant next door. There were plenty of activities within an easy driving distance to keep us all amused for the duration of our stay including lakes, beaches and shopping. We hope we can return again, thank you for a wonderful holiday.
A very beautiful setting for our first family trip to Europe! The villa and surrounds were so beautiful that nobody wanted to go anywhere… just sit and relax. A fantastic kitchen helped us feed our big group. Brent and Debbie were very welcoming and made our week very special. Thank you.
An excellent villa - with everything one could need including a good selection of herbs in the garden for those who enjoy cooking. Pézenas is a lovely place - lovely potteries (some going home with us) good restaurants and bars - spoilt for choice. Delight to discover that the description is perfect. All in all a 5 star holiday.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment à explorer la vallée de la Loire, vivement recommandé, nous avons même pu passer 3 jours au bord de la piscine ! Le jardin est tout simplement magnifique et fait honneur à votre travail acharné.
Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse dans cette magnifique propriété. Les hôtes étaient extrêmement serviables et accueillants. La maison est incroyable - beau mélange d'ancien et de moderne. Portes et plafonds à double hauteur impressionnants. Très spacieux et bien aménagé. Les enfants se sont bien amusés à nager dans la piscine. Les jardins sont charmants - nous avons aimé le hamac et la balançoire. Nous avons également utilisé la table de tennis. La maison et le terrain sont très privés et isolés. Nous avions une belle vue sur les champs de tournesols environnants. Nous recommandons vivement cette propriété aux familles.

Nous avons passé 5 jours fantastiques dans ce charmant appartement. L'emplacement était merveilleux, à 30 secondes de la plage et avec également accès à la piscine sur le toit (dans un bâtiment adjacent). Accès facile à une ligne de train (20 minutes à pied) ou à des lignes de bus. Le supermarché à 5 minutes à pied était un bonus. Pour manger, beaucoup de choix de restaurants, à 10 minutes à pied offrant une gamme variée. La vue depuis l'appartement était charmante notamment sur la baie en direction de Nice. L'appartement correspondait à tout ce que nous voulions. Les activités de plage étaient nombreuses, du jet ski à la voile en passant par la plongée avec tuba, etc.
Nous avons passé une superbe semaine chez Paul la semaine dernière. C'est un superbe endroit !

We have just enjoyed one of our best holidays ever and your outstanding charm and conviviality have contributed so much. Thank you for a wonderful and relaxing two weeks. We have loved getting to know this part of France (and it’s wine!), playing boules in the garden and watching all the birds. We particularly enjoyed the Grand Cafe Occitane and the beaches at Leucate. Your attention to detail and the warm welcome made us feel immediately at home and we really appreciated the pool being kept so clean.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cet endroit très calme et verdoyant. Une maison très agréable et confortable, à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur. Terrasse, piscine, transats... C'était super ! À proximité de Pézenas (magnifique), de l'Abbaye de Valmagne (magnifique) et des marchés locaux... La propriétaire est adorable et très discrète.
Séjour très agréable, magnifique demeure, ballade et découverte d'une sympathique région... Notre Bretagne est belle! Mais votre Dordogne a aussi des atouts de charme et vos collines subliment le décor! A très bientôt.
Thank you so much for the very warm welcome, all the ‘goodies’ you provided and of course the use of your very well equipped Loft. It felt like we had always known you (perhaps because we’re all Northerners!). The Italian restaurant in the village is great to be able to walk to. A few degrees below 38 would have been preferable, but out of your control! Good luck with the house.

We were looking for a relaxed holiday and certainly found it at your beautiful house. We have not travelled too far but enjoyed visits to Nîmes and several to the pretty town of Uzes returning late afternoon to relax on the terrace and enjoy the beautiful views. We would thoroughly recommend and hope to revisit in the future. We appreciated the quality and care taken to equip and renovate the house.
Stayed at the property for two weeks at the end of July. The property has been beautifully renovated and most things are on hand at the villa. The house has everything that’s needed for family and friends to enjoy from a great kitchen to a nice garden and patio and good sized pool. All in all this is a beautiful house in a lovely setting and I would certainly return.
Perfect stay. A very high quality renovation where stone blends with wood and contemporary furniture. A huge and ideal porch for dinner, barbecue and admire the countryside and hillsides on one side and a pool enchanted in this "Provencal farmhouse" on the other. Very high quality amenities and bedding. The sober and neat decoration with touches of contemporary art ensures a soothing balance and conducive to rest. A spacious cathedral living room with a stunning solid wood table. Here and there, small details in the amenities and decor (a special mention in the toilet of the master suite, I'll let you discover it). In addition, Christophe is very friendly and very attentive to his hosts. In short, this stay in the countryside between two seas delighted us all.
We loved staying here. Domaine du Château is full of character and very comfortable. With the giant wine press in the dining room and the vines across the lane, you certainly know you are in Burgundy. We really liked the mix of antique French furniture and original contemporary art works, so nicely done. The kitchen is beautiful and really well equipped and the market in Beaune is amazing for fantastic local produce. Apart from driving through all the famous vineyards and going wine tasting, we really enjoyed visiting the château at Rochepot and the ancient market at Nolay. The countryside is very pretty and great for walking, but best of all, was just sitting drinking wine on the terrace, enjoying the wonderful view and tranquillity. We booked the Eurostar to Le Creusot which made the journey really easy and quick. You can pick 'up a hire car' at the station and then it's just a short drive down quiet country roads which felt a world away from London. Would definitely recommend!

Cette villa est magnifique. Nous avons passé une semaine exceptionnelle. Très moderne hyper équipée avec une déco de tres bon goût, haut de gamme. Nous avons été charmés par la villa. Les propriétaires sont très sympas. Très bien située à 15 mn à pied du plus beau village de France. Nous avons l'habitude de louer des villas de prestige. Celle-ci sans aucun doute à sa place sur le podium. Je dirais même sur la plus haute marche en tenant compte de la gentillesse de Karine et Éric, les propriétaires. Nous recommandons vivement !
Just returned from an outstanding holiday at the Orchard Farmhouse! The pool and grounds were just fantastic - it did help with three days at 30+ degrees! The Loft and it’s setting never loses its WOW! factor; we have had yet another ( fifth ) visit, having enjoyed the garden, pool, local area and not least your wonderful hospitality. Thank you so much - an oasis of calm in the Covid-19 storm! The measures you have taken to protect guests have been executed with your usual discretion and thoroughness, allowing us to truly relax.
