We have had an amazing time and are very sad to have to leave! We have loved our time lazing by the pool and leaving all the stresses of our normal lives far behind. The owners have been perfect hosts. and the house has had everything that we needed. We really enjoyed visiting this part of France for the first time and would recommend all the beautiful Bastide villages. Hopefully it won't be too long before we can come back!
Belle maison avec piscine, agréable et privée, mais seulement à quelques pas du centre de Sarlat. La maison est très bien équipée et confortable pour les jours où le temps n'est pas au beau fixe ! Les environs ont tellement à offrir. Nous reviendrons. Nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances en famille dans votre belle maison. Nous reviendrons certainement. Soleil, rivière, piscine, nourriture, canoës ! Que demander de plus... Oh et du vin !
We have just returned from Villa La Baronne where our family of 15 had a wonderful time! The villa is exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. It is in an ideal location, less than a 10 minute drive to the nearest supermarket.

Nous attendions avec impatience notre semaine ici depuis très longtemps (en raison des restrictions de Covid) et nous n'avons pas été déçus ! Le jardin et la maison sont magnifiques et nous avons tous adoré la piscine. Nous aurions pu rester volontiers dans le jardin toute la semaine mais nous nous sommes arrachés du lieu pour voir Saumur, Villandry et Montsoreau. Nos enfants de 5 et 9 ans ont particulièrement apprécié le Châtau et les jardins de Villandry. Merci pour cette semaine merveilleuse et cet accueil chaleureux - le pétillant était si bon et les roses si belles. Nous espérons revenir.
Highly recommended. The house was very spacious, tidy and even more beautiful than in the photos. There is a large beautiful and enclosed garden and by the pool a nice terrace. The owner were really friendly and helpful. Both we and our 5 dogs had a great vacation. We will definitely go back again!

Stunning - amazing space in and out with many places for children and adults to hide! Great, from well equipped kitchen to playroom. Childproofed but still lots of fun toys for dry and wet days. Great showers and all working brilliantly. Had a fantastic week - Very relaxed and love the set up here. Thank you all.
Le Petit Palais provides the perfect place for families and groups. We consist of six parents and six kids of ages 1-5 years old. The bedrooms provided the perfect split and were also very comfortable with a bunk bed which was every kids choice. Downstairs has plenty of space for all to enjoy and breakout to do their own thing or sit together for a meal. The provision of toys and games for all ages was great to keep our kids entertained plus the table football, climbing frame and trampoline all helped to keep the kids busy. The pool area is sizeable and secure with comfy loungers and shaded area with table. Around the house there’s different spots to enjoy lunch or have an evening drink. The kitchen is fully setup and provides all you’d need to prepare meals for large groups, this is so often not the case when you stay at a holiday rental. All in all our weeks stay was perfect and the house and provisions did everything we needed and wanted. The house is easy to find and well located for day trips. Isabelle and Caroline are quick communicators and offer really helpful advice at all times. Thanks again for letting us stay and hopefully we’ll be back again soon.

Le lit nous a offert le meilleur sommeil de notre vie. Nous voulions juste vous écrire et vous remercier tous les deux d'avoir partagé votre belle maison à Saint Paul de Vence. Notre semaine a été magique et l'appartement avec piscine était parfait pour s'y détendre et se relaxer. Le lit nous a offert le meilleur sommeil de notre vie (nous avons même décidé d'acheter lemême !). Nous réserverons l'année prochaine, mais nous voulions vous faire savoir à quel point nous avons apprécié notre séjour.
Merci de nous avoir fait partager votre belle maison. Elle regorge de caractère et de style. Le parfum des fleurs et la magnifique piscine ont fait du jardin l'endroit où nous avons passé le plus de temps. Un grand merci à vous pour votre accueil et votre réactivité. From the warm welcome that we received on arrival, to the thorough introduction into the Loft du Vigneron's facilities - which are considerable - and the wealth of advice on the local area, restaurants and places to visit, Karen and Russell did everything imaginable to ensure that we had a really memorable and relaxing holiday. Naturally, we are very sorry to be leaving this morning, but hope to have the good fortune to return again. Every good wish to you in your new venture, which we're sure will be as successful, if not more, than the Loft.
Un endroit absolument parfait pour nos vacances en famille. Nous avons apprécié les superbes excursions d'une journée, la nourriture et les vins locaux fabuleux (ainsi que quelques jours de farniente au bord de la piscine!) Nous avons passé un séjour des plus agréables et toutes les informations et instructions fournies ont été très utiles. Nous n'aurions pas vraiment pu demander plus.
Nous avons passé deux semaines ici l'été dernier avec 4 adultes et un enfant. Le logement est excellent et la maison bien climatisée. La climatisation était très importante pour nous car nous y sommes habitués pendant les étés chauds et cela apporte une réelle grande différence. La piscine et l'emplacement sont très isolés et très propres avec un service de nettoyage piscine inclus. Nous avons adoré la terrasse extérieure et avons passé chaque soir à regarder les étoiles, les cafés du matin étaient également appréciés tous les jours. Intérieur charmant et cuisine équipée. Nous sommes impatients de revenir ici avec nos amis du Royaume-Uni qui sont heureux de nous rejoindre à nouveau. Un délicieux séjour, une courte promenade jusqu'au village chaque jour pour le pain et les marchés du vendredi sont importants pour nous. Vous devriez séjourner ici si vous en avez l'occasion: nous avons séjourné ailleurs et c'est ici le meilleur endroit. Oh... le Wi-Fi fonctionne et est toujours essentiel pour nous partout où nous voyageons dans le monde.
Je suis tombée sous le charme de cette belle demeure atypique. Sa proximité avec le château de Duras lui apporte une touche féerique... Il y a tout le confort nécessaire pour les visiteurs et la literie est de qualité. D'un côté de la demeure, vue imprenable sur la belle piscine et sur la vallée et de l'autre côté, vue magique sur les fortifications du château. Je n'en dévoilerai pas d'avantage et laisse le plaisir , aux prochains visiteurs ,de découvrir les autres petits trésors que cache cette maison. Le village de Duras est typique des petites villes de province avec son beau marché local et coloré . Les soirs, très bonne ambiance festive.

The sun shone and we all had a fabulous time in this gorgeous and comfortable house. Lots of amazing food (with thanks to Steph), delicious wines of all colours (with thanks to Ampelidae), great company and a lot of laughs. Thank you!
A very beautiful setting for our first family trip to Europe! The villa and surrounds were so beautiful that nobody wanted to go anywhere… just sit and relax. A fantastic kitchen helped us feed our big group. Brent and Debbie were very welcoming and made our week very special. Thank you.
Nous avons tellement aimé cet endroit en 2022 que nous y sommes retournés en 2024. Un autre séjour fantastique ! La villa est aussi spéciale que dans nos souvenirs. Nous avons encore découvert des endroits, dégusté d'autres vins et créé d'autres souvenirs. Sète et Montpellier ont été un véritable succès lors de ces vacances. La descente de l'Orb en kayak depuis Réals a été un moment fort en famille. Nous reviendrons pour encore d'autres vacances, car nous adorons cette villa !
Rabassie is heaven close by to Limoux at which there is a plethora of things to do; Swimming and tennis, running and boules, and the wicket takes spin if you follow the rules! A holiday so special, it was planned years ago, and we dreamed of the sunshine during last winter's snow. But the reality's far better than anyone thought, it's a place in a million and we wanted for naught. Grandparents, parents and five grandchildren too, we laughed and we played all the day through; but when we were thirsty the beers were imposters lacking the 'nectar of wonderful Fosters'! The house wants for nothing, its completely equipped, the mind boggles as to how it could all have been shipped. The kitchen has everything, including a spurtle, and the only sound heard is the meowing of Myrtle! Despite sporting distractions for all of us folks we were glued to the tele watching Ben Stokes. It is lucky our neighbours were only wild boar 'cos his winning four caused a deafening roar! But all of this fun could not have happened each day had it not been for Natalie and Mike and their way; No problem too great, no trouble too small, with charm and great knowledge they dealt with it all. Merci, merci, merci!
We have had a wonderfully relaxing holiday in this beautiful house in divine location. The garden is filled with wildlife and we've enjoyed many an hour listening to the birds and watching the bumblebees and butterflies. My recommendation would be to sit back, relax and just take it all in.
This property has the WOW factor! We were blown away by it when we arrived. It is beautifully renovated and the grounds and surrounding countryside are stunning. The main house is very spacious with a large living room, TV lounge room and a big kitchen. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything that you might need (including 2 great coffee machines and a pantry with essentials that you can use). Also, a lovely large dining table. Upstairs there are 4 big airy bedrooms with very comfy beds, great linen and towels. Plus 3 pristine luxe bathrooms. The views out of every side of the house are idyllic. The outside space too is fantastic. Great terraces for eating / relaxing on, beautiful warm clean swimming pool with comfy loungers, herb garden, fire pit, well equipped gym, pétanque court, vineyard, landscaped gardens. The gîte across from the main house is also lovely and provides 3 extra bedrooms plus additional bathroom, kitchen and lounge. We enjoyed our stay enormously and appreciated the level of detail and care that the owners have put into this house.
Le havre de paix idéal pour notre famille C'était notre premier séjour en Charente et nous avons été ravis de La Charmante Distillerie. C'était l'idéal pour mes grands-parents, avec ses chambres au rez-de-chaussée et un accès facile de plain pied à une belle terrasse et à la piscine. Le gîte est situé en forêt et la vue est imprenable. L'accent mis sur le développement durable était appréciable, notamment les nombreux arbres fruitiers et les herbes aromatiques pour la cuisine. Mark a été d'une grande aide pour tous les détails et a été d'un grand secours avec ses recommandations et ses connaissances locales. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter et nous le recommandons vivement pour une escapade paisible.
Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre dernière semaine à Camirout. Nos endroits préférés ont été Bergerac, Monpazier et le marché nocturne de Prayssas. Tous mettaient en valeur la belle histoire de cette région et une cuisine exceptionnelle. La piscine a diverti les enfants pendant des heures. Merci beaucoup. Toute notre affection, famille Adams.
Spacious, comfortable and stylish. The house has a super atmosphere. It’s really spacious, tastefully decorated and very well equipped. The beds are comfortable and the bedrooms and bathrooms have all you need. The pool was spotless and such a treat that it’s just yours to use. The house sits very near to the village. Just a couple of minutes walk to the Square and the little market that seems to visit every Saturday and on two other days too. You can get all you need from there or from the little super market nearby. The terrace was fab for eating our meals outside and just off the kitchen. Bbq worked well too. Over all it was definitely a 10 out of 10 stay. The owners have thought of everything. We really loved the enormous wall hangings.
Your house is lovely and we all had a relaxing and enjoyable week. I think I can safely say that in all the years of hiring holiday accommodation in France we have not stayed in such a well appointed and well equipped property. Vous avez transformé ce bâtiment en une maison des plus merveilleuses et, plus encore, en une maison accueillante et confortable, nous nous sentons privilégiés d'y avoir séjourné. Il ne nous manquait rien (sauf peut-être un peu plus de soleil et un peu moins de vent). Tous ceux qui nous y ont rejoint ont exprimé leur même appréciation. Merci beaucoup. We have just spent 2 very enjoyable weeks at Villa Montplaisir. The villa is equipped to a very high standard and Thierry was informative and helpful throughout our stay. The apricot tree kept us well supplied with fresh fruit each morning... delicious. The town centre is only a 10 minute walk and offers a variety of bars and restaurants to suit most tastes. There is a market 3 times a week which has the usual buzz and good choice of fresh food stalls. We would recommend the villa as a very good base to visit both the coast and hinterland.
