Wow! Lucky Herman to own this place. Views, designer environments, beds to die in (obviously not literally). I felt like a Kardashian staying here. Thank you to Barbara for her help and the maintenance team who were very helpful.
Beautiful seaside villa. We had a fantastic week with all our family. Villa Chiavari was perfect for all ages and offered plenty of space with numerous tranquil spots both on the balconies and the garden overlooking the sea. The recommendations from the owners on what to do were a great introduction to this area of Corsica. We look forward to staying longer next time!
Lovely quiet gîtes with beautiful views over the wine fields. Close to Uzès, a very pretty historical market town (20 min. by car). The gîtes provide everything you need, i.e. comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, cosy sitting room and fully equipped kitchen. There is a swimming pool with lounge beds and our gîte (La Picholine) even had a small private pool. The area is great for walk through the woods and over the wine field. There are restaurants in the area that are a short drive away. We had a great and relaxing time and will definitely be back!
Superb deluxe holiday rental - fabulous owner helped enhance many warm memories . Stayed in a family party of 16 over New Year. Great directions and arriving on New years Eve, the owner was waiting by the main gate to great us as the rest of our party had arrive the day previous. The quality of the roof finishes, furnishings, bedding, towels... all outstanding. We had arranged for provisions ahead of our arrival, all were present and correct, even the ham was premium quality Fabulous grounds, cosy sitting rooms and 2 friendly red setters roaming gave a homely feel in what is a stylish deluxe country residence. Fully equipped kitchen with a 1st class chef available, deluxe menus with fine wine options all available. At the owners suggestion we visited Bourges which is 15 minutes away for a cosmopolitan array shops, bars and resturants while also being steeped in history. The gardens even in winter were impressive but the jewel in the crown has to be the cathedral nestled in Napoleonic architecture. Recommended, recommended - Can't wait to go back
The house itself is old and gently restored, and extremely well equipped with every cooking utensil you could wish for and a very nice coffee machine. Special features are the large swimming pool close to the house, and the tennis court, which is a little higher up, with beautiful rural views. In summer there are night markets in surrounding villages where you can buy all kinds of foods, from omelettes to snails, and eat them outdoors on long trestle tables - a treat for locals and tourists alike. A wonderfully relaxing place to stay, highly recommended.

First things first - Karen, Russell and the girls (Mack and Mabel) are wonderful hosts. Warm, friendly, thoughtful and yet discreet. They love what they're doing and it shows as nothing is too much trouble. Their enthusiasm for their ventures (current and future) is infectious. Secondly is the 'Loft du Vigneron' - a fabulous property offering everything - and more - that you could hope for. Karen and Russell's sense of style has been imprinted on it and their attention to detail has left nothing wanting. Every comfort has been considered from the fabulous welcoming pack to 'The White Company' range of toiletries. The terrace was our favourite place with the sun streaming through the roof and the warm breeze cooling us down. Rieux-Minervois is a typical French village and perfectly situated to explore the entire Minervois region from Carcassonne in the West, East to the Mediterranean, and all the lovely historical villages North and South. In conclusion, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful property with the perfect hosts - highly recommended without hesitation. Our very best wishes for every success in you new venture. Tortoise name suggestions:- Sherman Victor Esio Trot (anagram for tortoise + book +TV show!) Sheldon (The Big Bang Theory TV). We have enjoyed a wonderful week in your stunning house. Mostly enjoying the weather and pool! We have seen the red squirrel, lizards, water vole and many birds. It's so peaceful and beautiful, we will miss it.
It is difficult to put into words how special our stay has been. Everything about the Loft is first class and we are going to miss it dearly. On top of that, all your little touches have been incredibly helpful and generous. Above all though, you have been the most warm, considerate and welcoming hosts - you really could not have done anything else to help us. Having travelled extensively we definitely rate you as the best! Of course, we have loved exploring the area, including a wonderful trip to the Pyrenees, and we are very keen to get to know it better. Finally, the last word goes to Mack and Mabel - they are adorable and we have enjoyed sneaking down for cuddles. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday.
I love the pool. This holiday has been the best! Le Glacier is a big restaurant. The food is lovely and you get presents in your ice cream. I want to come again!
I had a great stay at Le Mas de Combet with a group of 9 adults and 2 infants as we were attending a wedding nearby at Chateau de St Paul (c. 10 - 15 minutes drive) The house was clean, well equipped and very peaceful and private. The villa is remote so a car is definitely required but it's a beautiful setting with wonderful views of the countryside and the pool was well used during our stay! We had a couple of days of rain but the house is so comfortable and has plenty of space for indoor and outdoor entertaining. One small note was that there is no soap, shower gel or shampoo provided as described on the listing but that was a very minor inconvenience which was easily resolved. Dermod, our contact was extremely helpful and responsive and even personally arranged a lift for one of our party back from the wedding venue (thanks to Patricia!). Thanks for a great stay - we would definitely recommend!
Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour à la Maison Baleyssagues. La maison était exactement comme décrite et nous nous sommes immédiatement sentis comme à la maison. Excellent emplacement, belle piscine, chambres et lits parfaits. Un grand merci également à l'hôte Frédéric. Nous reviendrons certainement.

Je voulais juste vous dire à quel point nous avons passé un excellent séjour à la Maison Brunet. Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour. La maison, et surtout la cuisine, étaient parfaitement équipées pour profiter des produits locaux. La maison était impeccable à notre arrivée et les détails sont soignés. La piscine était rafraîchissante, propre et un atout précieux pendant les chaudes journées d'été. Nous étions une famille de 5 personnes avec un chien et nous avons tous passé un excellent séjour dans la maison, avec son jardin et son parc. Merci.
Quelle belle et grande maison ! Belle combinaison d'ancien et de moderne. Beaucoup d'espace. Très belle salle de jeux et superbe piscine d'eau salée. Nous avons vraiment passé un très bon moment.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour sous les mûriers platanes cet été. La maison est bien située près de la rivière Aude où nous avons passé une belle journée en kayak et à quelques minutes en vélo de plusieurs jolis villages et marchés. Merci pour ce beau séjour. Je recommande grandement.
Notre groupe de 11 personnes ont loué le Château de La Loire pour quatre nuits et c'était incroyable ! Nous avions accès à tout le château et au spa. L'art du parc était très unique et intéressant. Il y a de nombreuses et magnifiques surprises dans le parc.
Eva a été extrêmement serviable et nous a donné d'excellentes recommandations pour le dîner. La maison est parfaite pour des vacances relaxantes, une belle piscine et un intérieur incroyable. Lieu de résidence idéal, nous vous recommandons vivement.
Une maison de village idéale pour de superbes vacances. Une très belle maison, comme sur les photos et très accueillante. Design raffiné. Piscine chauffée, rien à redire. Maison propre et pratique. Le propriétaire est disponible et disposé à aider. Si je reviens dans la région, je reviendrai à cette maison si elle est disponible.
La Barde est bien plus qu'une maison de vacances - une vraie maison joliment décorée, très confortable et propre et avec une cuisine spacieuse et bien équipée dans laquelle c'était un plaisir de cuisiner. L'hôte nous a vraiment bien accueillis et s'est mis en quatre pour fournir tout ce dont nous avions besoin, des cartes claires qu'elle a envoyées pour nous aider à trouver la maison, à des informations sur le kayak et même nous apporter de nombreux jeux et DVD supplémentaires lorsque la pluie est tombée le deuxième jour. Malgré le temps, nous avons vraiment apprécié la piscine dans ce cadre magnifique et les garçons ont aimé jouer au football dans la prairie. Les jardins sont magnifiques et nous avons aimé explorer et marcher jusqu'à la ruelle et jusqu'au petit bar du village. Nous avons loué des vélos qui ont été livrés et récupérés et c'était un excellent moyen d'explorer la campagne et les villages environnants. Nous espérons tous revenir l'été prochain, il y a encore tellement de choses à voir dans la région, mais même si le soleil avait brillé, je ne pense pas que nous aurions quitter le jardin et la piscine ! Merci pour ces vacances vraiment mémorables.
Fantastic house in a lovely town. The property is extensive, nicely modernised and very well maintained. We visited with three children and they had plenty of room. The pool is AMAZING and they jumped in and out of that very happily. The outside terrace on the upper floor is a lovely place to lounge or eat - and the BBQ is a very good feature. In all we had a WONDERFUL time!
Notre séjour à la Maison Baleyssagues a été parfait pour notre semaine en mai, c'était génial. Une villa très spacieuse et exceptionnellement bien entretenue et équipée. Piscine et terrain fantastiques. Le gestionnaire Frédéric a été très accueillant et serviable pendant notre séjour. Nous pouvons honnêtement dire que c'était l'une des meilleures villas dans lesquelles nous ayons séjourné.
Nous avons passé un moment des plus merveilleux à la Maison de Saint-Jean. La maison était charmante, il y avait tout ce dont nous avions besoin et Rosetta [la gouvernante] était très serviable et accueillante. Tu as tellement de chance de l'avoir !

Merci pour cette semaine délicieuse dans un cottage vraiment charmant. Même si le soleil s'est fait un peu attendre, le cachet de la maison a largement compensé. Les deux restaurants du village sont excellents ! (Pensez à prendre une lampe de poche si vous rentrez après dîner !). Sarlat vaut vraiment le détour le mercredi (jour de marché). Saint-Léon est un joli village avec un grand choix de restaurants. Lascaux IV est intéressant et bien présenté. Un grand merci à Caterina et Steve !
Echoing all previous comments. It was a pleasure to stay here and on behalf of the two English-born cricket enthusiasts, we enjoyed the cricket net, as well as all the other sports. You are obviously a man with fine tastes!
Je veux juste vous envoyer un petit message pour vous dire quelles belles vacances nous passons dans votre charmante maison. D'après les photos, il avait l'air fabuleux, mais en fait, à l'arrivée, il a vraiment dépassé nos attentes. Nous apprécions vraiment ce bel environnement et aussi le fait rare qu'il était très bien approvisionné avec toutes ces choses dont on a normalement besoin et pour lesquelles on se précipite au supermarché pour les acheter : papier toilette, savon, tablettes pour lave-vaisselle et autres. Je voulais juste vous faire savoir à quel point c'est un endroit charmant et vous dire merci.
A lovely town house in a quiet village, with the added bonus of a pool. We enjoyed dining on the terrace in the evening watching the sun set.
Très bon accueil d'Eva et sa fille, instructions claires et flexibilité sur l'arrivée et le départ. Le logement permet de visiter cette belle région pour un bon rapport qualité prix.
