This is a beautiful property and it is well taken care of. We had everything we could possibly think of to enjoy an amazing weekend with family. I imagine this estate as a perfect venue for anything from a group holiday to a wedding. We would definitely stay again.
What a fantastic week we had a . The house is beautiful and we loved the attention to detail.
We wanted to find a location that provided peace and tranquillity and allow us all to pause for a while. We sought comfort, privacy and nature and found it all and more at La Metairie de Mespoule. We have just spent two wonderful weeks in late July and early August under the life giving sun of South Western France. We explored the beautiful villages, we ate in a raft of superb restaurants and we came back each day to the enjoy the tranquillity offered by the Metairie. The accommodation is perfect for a family holiday, the kitchen / living area is perfectly appointed and the outside terrace much used by us all. The naturally heated pool is an inspired choice and proved to be very popular with us all as did the BBQ area, the table tennis and an evening game of pétanque on the gravelled driveway. Catherine and Jono are perfect hosts offering as much or as little support and guidance as required – we opted for a private wine tour which was fabulous. We give the strongest of recommendations for anyone looking for a perfectly relaxing holiday.
This is our second family holiday in this wonderful house. The welcome from Ian and Hugh when we arrived was excellent. The house and garden are beautifully cared for and the standard of accommodation is 'five star'. It felt like home from home rather than a soleless rental property. Having the owners on site was a plus as they where able to guide us with local activities and restaurant recommendations... there is a lot to do in this area and being so close to some of the best wine regions in the world is definitely a big plus. We also has a lovely day in Bordeaux, which is an easy drive or train journey and well worth the effort. We plan to return next year for our summer break and I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful peaceful haven to anyone wishing to experience the best in hospitality! Nous avons essayé de venir pendant 6 ans, mais finalement nous l'avons fait et cela valait la peine d'attendre. Les propriétaires étaient très gentils et serviables. Ont offert de super fromages, du vin, des livraisons tôt le matin et un bon repas au restaurant. Et tout ça avant même d'évoquer la belle maison :) Tout était incroyable sauf la canicule, 42°C (ouf !) mais la piscine nous a sauvé, elle était super aussi. Un grand merci pour le plein de super souvenirs.
Jolie maison pleine de charme et authentique à Lusignac. La maison est telle que décrite avec d'excellents équipements pour nos vacances d'été. Nous étions 8 adultes avec 2 bébés (2 ans et 18 mois) et la maison nous a tous très bien accueillis.
We celebrated a week's holiday with 6 adult children and 2 grandchildren. The house is equipped with all modern conveniences, has a beautiful and complete interior, but still has an authentic appearance. The space in and around the house is gigantic and there is plenty of entertainment for everyone: from a nice swimming pool with many sun loungers to a room with numerous games and a good tennis court. Highly recommended for a family holiday. We will definitely go back again.

Maison spacieuse, jolie et très bien placée ! Nous avons passés une très belle semaine dans votre logement ! Hôte à l’écoute et présent pour répondre aux questions. Le logement à côté de la maison (l’atelier) est très bien quand deux familles partent chacun a son autonomie avec son espace personnel. Nous recommandons sans problème.
Superbe propriété avec tout le confort. Nous avons passé une semaine en juillet 2023 en famille et avons adoré la beauté de ce domaine. La piscine à débordement, le jacuzzi et la table de ping-pong ont fait la joie des enfants. Le parc arboré offre un bel espace de détente et de promenade. Nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances à La Maison Blanche. L'emplacement est magnifique, un immense jardin avec une grande piscine - surplombant un champ de tournesols lorsque nous y étions. Nous étions deux couples avec deux enfants plus âgés et la maison est très spacieuse et joliment meublée. L'emplacement est très paisible. Bien que cela signifie que les magasins, les marchés locaux et les restaurants ne sont pas accessibles à pied, la maison est très bien équipée, tant pour la cuisine et le barbecue que pour les divertissements avec la piscine, le ping-pong et les jeux. Nous avons trouvé que c'était un bon rapport qualité/prix et nous reviendrions sans hésiter. - Ingi Gudmundsdottir, août 2019
Mas de Lozanne is fabulous. Great garden, wonderful pool and lovely walking and cycling through the vineyards. We would love to come here again.
I had the great pleasure of spending a fabulous week at this property. An oasis in the center of this charming french town. 3 minutes walk to the town where you find boulangeries selling fresh croissants in the morning; to lovely restaurants scattered around the cobbled back streets and a fabulous weekend market. The surrounding area has much to offer for those keen on exploring Agde, Sete or beautiful Marseillan, to name just a few. The property itself is decorated to the highest standard. You can see it was a labour of love. Stylish and yet homely. The bedrooms beautifully decorated light and airy. Beds so comfortable. The kitchen designed for entertaining. A huge open plan sitting and dining area perfect for a cosy family meal or a dinner party, as we enjoyed on more than one occasion. The outside area perfect for a long day lounging by the pool or chilling in the evening with the bbq going. A totally private setting! What more could one ask for. Great communication with the owner. Nothing was a problem. I would highly recommend this property, if you are looking for a 5 star experience in a stunning location.
We stayed at Villa La Baronne for a week in early October. We were blessed with good weather and the surrounding area is beautiful and historically very interesting. As for the property itself, Villa La Baronne offers every possible amenity a guest might wish for. The bedrooms are beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The living areas are spacious and inviting. Outside the garden is lovely and has ample space to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The swimming pool is of a great size and in cooler temperatures it is heated. We had a lovely time and the hosts were exceptional. Can't recommend this villa enough. Book it while you can!

Magnifique château calme et récemment rénové, offrant de grands espaces dans un environnement agréable. Merci Michelle pour votre accueil si chaleureux !
Nous étions un groupe de 20 personnes (5 familles) et avons passé une semaine merveilleuse ! Les chambres sont très confortables (climatisation, grands lits), la cuisine était parfaite pour un grand groupe, la piscine était grande et propre (pas un seul insecte dans l'eau grâce au trop-plein). Tout est joliment décoré et flambant neuf. L'emplacement est tout simplement magnifique avec de magnifiques couchers de soleil. Nous avons effectué une belle visite à la cave du domaine et avons profité d'une dégustation de vins. Nous avons visité Saint-Tropez et la plage de Pampelonne (1h de route), Cotignac (40 min), l'Île de Porquerolles en catamaran depuis Hyères (1h) et fait du canyoning dans les Gorges du Verdon (2h de route). Il y a donc beaucoup de choses à faire mais vous devrez passer du temps dans la voiture. Et enfin et surtout : Thomas est un hôte formidable. Il est toujours disponible et prêt à aider de toutes les manières possibles.
This is our 3rd visit and yet again we have had a lovely time. Weather a little more energetic than previously but still lovely and warm. So relaxing, peaceful and calm, with the advantage of Poitiers to explore and the fantastic bakeries nearby. Thank you so much again.
What an amazing place and fantastic hosts, Hugh and Ian have given our family the perfect holiday. Thank you so much. The kids said the pool is amazing and really loved the salt water which didn't make there eyes sting like normal chlorinated pools. Oscar your adorable dog was also a big plus for Lara!
L’appartement est parfaitement situé : en bord de mer. Il y a une plage privée et une plage publique. Les plages sont assez isolées et il y a très peu de monde. L’appartement est équipé de tout le nécessaire, même plus que suffisant, comme s’il ne s’agissait pas d’une maison de location, mais de la vôtre. Si cela est important, alors toutes les infrastructures (commerces, boulangerie) sont situées sur la commune voisine de Beaulieu.
Nous avons tous apprécié le séjour à la villa. Nous avons aimé son emplacement - à la fois à Lezignan et le fait d'être proche de Pézenas et d'accéder facilement à d'autres endroits (nous sommes allés à Carcassonne, Montpellier, Millau, etc.). Merci d'avoir mis à disposition le vélo et le baby-foot ! C'était aussi agréable d'avoir une piscine - même si nous n'y sommes allés qu'une seule fois. De nombreuses informations utiles ont également été fournies dans la villa. Nous avons aimé le fait que vous nous ayez contacté personnellement - cela nous a rassuré avant notre voyage - merci pour votre aide. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons apprécié notre séjour et si nous revenons dans la région, nous reviendrions à la villa. Merci.
We've had a fantastic week in your beautiful home with all its attention to detail. Thank you so much – the pool table has been a great novelty, the sports equipment and bikes have entertained us for hour. We’ve loved visiting the bastides and swimming in the lake and the Lot.

We enjoyed a wonderful 'Spring break at Villa Floriana! The villa has been perfect for our family. We enjoyed the pool and grounds which were perfect for our 4 year old to explore. Everything was as expected and did not disappoint. We spent days in Port Grimaud, Saint-Topez. We would recommend this place to family and friends. We plan to return!

Le village et les villes environnantes étaient tout aussi magnifiques et nous n'aurions pas pu demander mieux ! We have spent a very happy week here. The house is charming, very comfortable and relaxing. We have loved spending lazy days around the pool, enjoying the beautiful, peaceful surroundings. The cafés of Poitiers were worth a visit. Thierry and Véronique have been lovely hosts, thank you.
Exquisitely renovated French manor house. This house was exquisitely restored with close attention to period detail. It is perfectly curated and integrated with antique fixtures and objects d'art as well all the modern comforts you could want. The kitchen is one of the most well equipped I have ever stayed in so the owners must be cooks. There are lovely spots to sit throughout the gardens with comfortable furnishings. The house itself is perfect for large families or a selection of couples. The location is ideal for touring Chagny, Beaune and the rest of Burgundy. Sigrid was incredibly responsive, helpful, flexible and kind. I can not recommend the home and Sigrid highly enough. We had a completely charming and comfortable stay. Thank you again for sharing your lovely home.
