We would recommend eating at L'Ambrosia in Pezens, La Bergerie at Aragon and the restaurant at Le Château de Pennautier (quite local). Narbonne was a pleasant surprise (including its plage) for a day trip.
The property was everything we were hoping for and more. It's simple yet beautifully done out inside. The outdoor areas are great, particularly the pool. It's so well designed for a family holiday. The local village is so cute and the hotel restaurant great too. And obviously the local wine was delicious too! Couldn't have asked for more.
We just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful holiday in your beautiful house. You have made everything so comfortable and easy and it was such a joy to stay there. The location was perfect, such a peaceful spot with stunning views, in a pretty village. It exceeded all of our expectations. The region is so interesting too. We loved it all but especially the salt water swimming pool and the way you have landscaped the whole outside areas. We spent as much time as we could relaxing there. I hope we can return for another holiday soon! Thank you from us all. We couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. It really was perfect.
Notre groupe de 12 adultes et quatre enfants a récemment passé une semaine fantastique au Domaine de Nérige. La maison est spacieuse et joliment meublée et décorée. La terrasse et la piscine sont des endroits propices à la détente. Nous avions le choix entre deux cuisines très bien équipées et nous avons également fait bon usage du barbecue et des installations de restauration en plein air. Nous avons bien profité de la salle à jeux dans la grange et du terrain de pétanque. Le parking accueille de nombreuses voitures. À dix minutes en voiture de Limoux où le supermarché a satisfait tous nos besoins en matière de nourriture et de boissons. Notre plus grand éloge va aux propriétaires Sandie et David. Ils étaient sur place et extrêmement serviables et sympathiques les quelques fois où nous en avions besoin, mais pour le reste du temps, nous ne savions pas s'ils étaient là. Des hôtes parfaits. Je n'hésiterais pas à recommander un séjour ici pour un grand groupe de famille et d'amis... nous aimerions revenir un jour. Merci Sandie et David... tous vos efforts pour rénover cette belle maison en valait vraiment la peine.
Je voulais juste dire combien nous avons apprécié nos 2 semaines aux Granels. La maison et les installations ont dépassé toutes nos attentes. Nous avons également été ravis du service que nous avons reçu de Pure France, chaque question a été traitée rapidement et efficacement.
We were looking for a relaxed holiday and certainly found it at your beautiful house. We have not travelled too far but enjoyed visits to Nîmes and several to the pretty town of Uzes returning late afternoon to relax on the terrace and enjoy the beautiful views. We would thoroughly recommend and hope to revisit in the future. We appreciated the quality and care taken to equip and renovate the house.

Thanks for a lovely week in your fabulous holiday house, it was very kind of you to let us arrive early so we could easily visit the market. It was quite entertaining seeing the gendarmes trying to organise the market day traffic (and the usual bonkers French parking!) We have stayed in quite a few properties in the South of France but not managed to find somewhere that was both walking distance to a nice town and a high spec house. Yours certainly ticked both of those boxes. Especially with the weather not being on our side, we spent a lot of time in the house and really appreciated all of the luxury living area and kitchen features. The kids loved the pool (and it did stay at 26 degrees!), so we did manage to venture in almost every day, much to the amazement of some of the locals! Thanks also for all of the information and recommendations that you and Lisa sent through before and during our stay. It was very much appreciated and hugely helpful.
Nous avons passé deux semaines formidables dans cette charmante maison. Nous avons adoré explorer les environs. Nous avons adoré faire du kayak et du pédalo sur la rivière Lot. Nous avons beaucoup profité de la piscine et du jardin secret. Un grand merci à Alan et Madeline pour votre gentillesse et votre attention, et surtout pour cette belle promenade. We had a fantastic time at Mas de Clouze. We walked to Beaumont, canoed at Cenac, visited Montpazier and Chateau de Biron. Lots of long lunches at the house and hours of fun in the pool. Many thanks.
What a wonderful week, the house has real soul and you have thoughtfully made the very best of each view. Wonderful seats in the garden, shade and sun to maximise the pleasure. The house is absolutely charming and all the finishing touches have made for a very special week. Not only a holiday but I feel culturally enhanced too. Uzes is absolutely perfect + great shops + food!
What would you tell your friends about your holiday ? It was a very pleasant stay. A very quiet house, very well equipped, with a much-appreciated pool. Beautiful scenery. What was the best thing about your stay ? The pool. The view over the landscape. The outdoor space. The air conditioning. What could we do better for your next stay? A pitcher/carafe (but perhaps we just didn’t find it). Were there any appliances you really wished you had? It was more than perfect. How was the comfort of your rooms, pillows, and beds? Impeccable. Do you have any comments on the garden, pool, plancha, etc.? Wonderful. Missing: the table game, and a tree under whose shade one could have lunch. How do you rate the information provided in this booklet? Perfect and complete. Is there anything important missing? One of our friends suggested an electric bike. Another thought that suggestion was excessive. How could we improve it? I note that the useful information, sometimes highlighted, already seems extremely well presented — also topographic details, routes, activities, plans for next year. Do you have any other comments to help us serve you better when you return next year? Looking forward to future visits. Final remark: We thank you for this very good stay in this very beautiful and interesting house, whose collection of books caught our attention.
Nous avions besoin d'une pause pour décompresser et nous détendre. Nous sommes tombés sur La Charmante Distillerie grâce à une recommandation et elle a dépassé toutes nos attentes. Les enfants étaient loin de leurs appareils électroniques et ont joué à la pétanque, au babyfoot, au badminton et même à des châteaux de sable. Ils se sont ensuite rafraîchis dans la piscine, avec de nombreux jeux pour les divertir. Le plus mémorable, c'est l'accueil ! Mark et Gary sont des hôtes exceptionnels. L'accueil dans leur magnifique maison de vacances était d'une grande authenticité, tout comme leur hospitalité – à la hauteur de nos attentes. Nous y retournerons certainement et avons hâte d'observer les étoiles avec le télescope de la maison dans le ciel nocturne limpide.
We’ve just come back from a wonderful stay at Manoir Coutenson. The spacious and well maintained accommodation met the needs of our party of 15 perfectly, ranging from ages 1 to 85. The accommodation was even nicer than shown in the photos, as the sitting room had been refurbished. We particularly loved the on site activities (table tennis, pétanque, pool etc) and the sitting area by the pool! There were many thoughtful touches, including toys for younger children, board games and a well stocked kitchen. The site managers were on hand to help with any queries and advise on places to visit. The Manoir is well located close to Casteljaloux for supermarket, shops, market etc and there is lots to do in the surrounding area. We’d certainly love to stay here again!
La piscine est vraiment chauffée ! De nombreuses piscines du sud de la France « suggèrent » qu'elles le sont. Par contre, la piscine des Fumerates, qui est immense, est effectivement chauffée ! En fait, quand nous sommes arrivés, la température de la piscine était de 29°C (86°F) ! Après avoir défait nos bagages, nous avons nagé en début de soirée, puis profité d'une baignade tôt le matin... Vous voyez l'idée... Comme la photo le suggère, les vues ici sont incroyables. Nous avions l'appartement du rez-de-chaussée qui était parfait. Deux portes-fenêtres vous mènent à la piscine, il y a des auvents rétractables pour vous protéger tout en prenant votre petit-déjeuner. La chambre principale est très grande avec un lit king size et un lit queen size, idéal pour déballer ou s'asseoir, etc. Il y a une deuxième chambre et une salle de petit-déjeuner/télévision. La cuisine était impeccable avec vue sur la piscine. La climatisation fonctionnait bien (très important de mi-juin à fin août). Il y a aussi 2 salles de bains (très pratiques). Dans l’ensemble, fortement recommandé.
First things first - Karen, Russell and the girls (Mack and Mabel) are wonderful hosts. Warm, friendly, thoughtful and yet discreet. They love what they're doing and it shows as nothing is too much trouble. Their enthusiasm for their ventures (current and future) is infectious. Secondly is the 'Loft du Vigneron' - a fabulous property offering everything - and more - that you could hope for. Karen and Russell's sense of style has been imprinted on it and their attention to detail has left nothing wanting. Every comfort has been considered from the fabulous welcoming pack to 'The White Company' range of toiletries. The terrace was our favourite place with the sun streaming through the roof and the warm breeze cooling us down. Rieux-Minervois is a typical French village and perfectly situated to explore the entire Minervois region from Carcassonne in the West, East to the Mediterranean, and all the lovely historical villages North and South. In conclusion, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful property with the perfect hosts - highly recommended without hesitation. Our very best wishes for every success in you new venture. Si vous recherchez un répit agréable pour oublier le quotidien, ne cherchez pas plus loin que Nérige. Quel endroit tranquille, vierge et magique. Les montagnes des Pyrénées s'élèvent au-dessus des vallées viticoles et l'air est clair et vif. La propriété elle-même est immense, mais si confortable et cosy. Les chambres sont décorées avec des draps et des meubles de la plus grande qualité. Sandie est une véritable hôte de la vieille école. Elle nous a accueillis en personne, nous a montré tous les points forts de la propriété, a préparé un délicieux repas pour notre arrivée et a rempli le garde-manger afin que nous prenions le petit-déjeuner le matin. Voyageant avec 2 jeunes enfants et 2 parents plus âgés... nous étions épuisés par notre voyage... et c'était exactement ce dont nous avions besoin ! Elle a également fait venir une merveilleuse massothérapeute à Nérige le lendemain matin pour amorcer notre détente ! Voilà comment voyager et bien voyager. C'est ainsi que l'on voit le monde. Ne doutez pas de cet endroit. Réservez dès maintenant avant que le monde entier ne découvre ce joyau magique !
The property was perfect for our two families, with ample accommodation and communal areas to relax together. We were spoilt for choice as to where we chose to hang out with beautiful uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside especially from the back of the property. The pool was a real treat - large enough for our party of 8 to have endless fun in. The daily walk to the boulangerie first thing in the morning was really enjoyable, as were the local pizza's!
Amazing space of the house led to us having the best family holiday ever for 9 adults and three young children. The outdoor areas are equally fantastic, the pool, Japanese garden with pizza oven was greatly appreciated and we would love to come back and see our host Katie again.
Thank you so much for having us and being such wonderful hosts. We've all had such a brilliant time and it really has felt like a home from home. Kit (5 years old) is really going to miss his daily swim, it's been so nice to see his confidence grow. I'm sure we'll be back !
This is the third time at Villa Kali and I can't think of any more superlatives. The villa ticks all the boxes and some. The beaches at Grau Agde and Portiragnes are well worth a visit as well as Valros with all its restaurants.
We had a wonderful time at your beautiful domain. We explored the region extensively, but would love to come back again to enjoy more of the peace and quiet here on your property. Everything was fine and we certainly did not lack anything. It was very nice to spend our holiday here together. Thank you so much!
Great holiday. We had a wonderful holiday in Mouans Sartoux. The villa was exactly as described and well equipped. We loved the heated pool and watched many a glorious sunset from the terrace. The owner, was extremely approachable and helpful all the way and tiny niggles got sorted out very quickly with the help of Mireille, the lovely housekeeper. We will definitely come back.

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour. La vieille ville de Carcassonne, la jolie Minerve, de bons restaurants de gastronomie locale. Grand café en bas de la rue à Félines-Minervois pour un long déjeuner. La piscine est un régal pour se rafraîchir. J'espère revenir.

Two weeks of idyllic bliss in the rolling French countryside with superb weather to atch. As a family young and old, we enjoyed the stunning house, garden, pool and views. To agree with the previous guests, Laparade is the place to be on a Tuesday evening. Days spent at Biscarosse beach and lakeside both worth the journey. Would also highly recommend in house beauty treatments. We had massages and facials. Fantastic. Just ask Olivia.
