How to know where to start? Simply stunning house, gorgeous wether, sumptuous food and the best company! Thank you both so much for having us stay and we can't wait to come back and see you all again.
Parfait. Notre deuxième visite et nous espérons que ce ne sera pas la dernière. Nous lui donnerions six étoiles si nous le pouvions. Un magnifique cottage, décoré avec goût et bien équipé. Une belle piscine et un cadre paisible près d'un village où l'on peut bien manger si l'on en a assez de cuisiner. Il y a beaucoup à découvrir dans la région. Et cerise sur le gâteau, l'accueil chaleureux des propriétaires.
C'est nos deuxièmes vacances en famille dans cette magnifique maison. L'accueil réservé par Ian et Hugh à notre arrivée a été excellent. La maison et le jardin sont parfaitement entretenus et la qualité de l'hébergement est digne d'un « cinq étoiles ». Nous nous y sommes sentis comme chez nous, bien loin de l'ambiance impersonnelle d'une location de vacances classique. La présence des propriétaires sur place était un atout précieux ; ils ont su nous conseiller sur les activités locales et les restaurants... Il y a beaucoup à faire dans la région, et la proximité de certains des meilleurs vignobles au monde constitue un avantage majeur. Nous avons également passé une superbe journée à Bordeaux, ville facilement accessible en voiture ou en train et qui vaut vraiment le détour. Nous prévoyons d'y revenir l'été prochain et je recommanderais sans hésiter ce havre de paix merveilleux à quiconque souhaite profiter d'une hospitalité exceptionnelle ! Bonjour, nous sommes arrivés hier soir et nous sommes bien installer dans cette jolie maison ! Nous avions des attentes élevées, mais la maison les dépasse!
Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine relaxante au Malardier. La maison est magnifique et plus bellesque sur les photographies. Nous avons adoré regarder le soleil se lever, admirer la vue en prenant notre café du matin. La piscine et le pool house ont été appréciés de tous. Déjeuners tranquilles à l'extérieure et parties de pétanque le soir. Un grand merci à Richard et Gay, de si serviables et superbes hôtes.
Pour une fois la réalité dépasse les photos de l'annonce ! L'intérieur est parfaitement aménagé, avec soin et goût. Le jardin est magnifique et fonctionnel. La piscine très propre. Des balades à proximité, dans un milieu naturel préservé, que nous ne connaissions pas vraiment. De bons restaurants aux alentours, dont celui de Félines qui vient d'ouvrir. Minerve, village cathare à découvrir absolument. Des vacances de rêve.
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à la Maison Bonnet. Cette maison est très bien équipée et très agréable à vivre aussi bien à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur. Notre hôte David a été très sympathique et très réactif. Nous recommandons chaudement ce lieu de villégiature.
The place is lovely and very well furnished. As someone else said in your guest book, your house offers almost everything we were hoping for in our holiday in France. A large, well-appointees home with fantastic views and a cool fairly deep pool, proximity to a nice town where supplies are aplenty; vineyards in the surroundings and even a couple of michelin-starred restaurants nearby.
Nous avons vraiment aimé votre propriété et Mel est fantastique! La villa est vraiment ben équipée, moderne et tout s'est très bien passé. Je recommande cette propriété.
This is a total joy of a house. The photographs make it look beautiful - it is even better in real life. The pool is quite incredible - like being in a boutique hotel all of your own. A true hidden gem.

On n'aurait pas pu demander mieux à La Barde ou à son propriétaire. La Barde était tranquille, confortable et avait tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin pour des vacances en famille. La cuisine était très bien équipée, c'était incroyable, les chambres étaient spacieuses et les lits confortables. Toutes les pièces étaient joliment décorées et meublées avec soin. Il y avait tellement d'espace dans la maison et les jardins que même en tant que famille nombreuse, vous pouvez trouver un endroit calme pour un peu de paix. La piscine avait une grande partie peu profonde pour les tout-petits, le jardin était idéal à explorer. Nous reviendrons l'année prochaine sans aucun doute ! Merci!

La Petite Maison Générille is pure magic. Tucked away in the rolling hills of the Dordogne, this peaceful gîte blends rustic charm with stylish comfort. The saltwater pool is dreamy, the interiors are beautifully done, and every corner feels like a breath of fresh French countryside air. We didn't want to leave — and we're already planning our return.
Le Presbytère genuinely exceeded our expectations in all areas. We primarily booked this property for the covered eating and relaxing area adjacent to a fabulous heated pool and the number of bedrooms. The history and setting of the property and it's views to the rear over beautiful countryside, were a real bonus and joy. The wildlife was of real interest to us all and the table tennis was played regularly by us all. Mark and Amanda were friendly and keen to help with any queries we had. Thank you again and in particular for providing the electric fans which were essential during such a hot period in July. We don't usually return to the same property on holiday but just might make an exception with Le Presbytère!
A magnificent week in the charm of this marvellous house and the surrounding area of Les Marquises. Nothing was spared for our comfort and we take with us excellent memories of our visit. Thank-you.
Nous avons eu la chance de séjourner au Manoir de Fouilloux à deux reprises et avons adoré notre expérience à chaque fois. La demeure est décorée et équipée avec un soin extrême et des prestations de très grande qualité. La propriété jouit de vues magnifiques et de jardins parfaitement entretenus ; c'est l'endroit idéal pour se détendre avec un verre de vin, que ce soit sur la terrasse, dans la cour et le salon de style marocain, ou au bord de la piscine. Elle se trouve également à proximité de villes pittoresques et de châteaux. Si vous avez envie d'une dégustation de vin, Saint-Émilion et les vignobles de Bergerac sont tout proches ; vous pouvez aussi opter pour une visite du marché local de Ribérac. Nous comptons bien y retourner ! Un lieu merveilleux pour se détendre.
An enchanting place for a dream week that we will remember for ever!
The chateau is magnificent - very large and comfortable. It is finished to a very high standard with beautiful furniture, comfortable beds, high quality bedding and towels, and well equipped kitchen and dining room. The location is quiet with beautiful views of the surrounding hills and vineyards. Quentin is a wonderful host. He was eager to make our stay memorable by offering to organize restaurant bookings, local vineyard tours and wine tastings. Thank you, Quentin!
We’ve enjoyed two wonderful weeks in and around Villa Lavinière Thanks to the air conditioning we survived the heatwave comfortably. What a great, well-equipped house, garden and pool! Communication with you was very good, supportive and kind. The views from the first floor were beautiful. We had one of the best holiday houses we’ve ever stayed in. We also enjoyed Grand Café Occitan, Les Mûriers (La Livinière), L’Atelier (Caunes), Béziers (brocante market) and Lagrasse.
The house is a magical island setting in the countryside, with a wonderful rural and secluded ambiance. The size and comfort are simply perfect. I loved the morning runs in nature and the breakfasts on the terrace. Carelle and her husband are warm and supportive owners. The three dogs present themselves from time to time as friendly travelers. A great experience.
The property is absolutely divine. Romantic and picturesque. A real private get-away in the heart of a medieval hill-top village. We were stunned at how quiet it was and loved sitting in the garden in the morning having coffee. We also loved BBQing in the courtyard in the evenings and sitting out past dark to watch the amazing display of stars! The pool was such a delight and the air-con was perfect for a break from the heat in the middle of the day. While we went on several day trips recommended, the village had so much on offer we didn't need to venture out often and can't wait to return!

Spent a weekend here in September 2023. The domaine has been very skilfully and tastefully converted into a very luxurious residence with swimming pool! The overwhelming tranquillity, the beautiful gites, the stunning surroundings combined with the care of the perfect hosts ensures that you can completely unwind and enjoy to the max! You will want to come back here again and again!
We thought this was the perfect setting for our extended family holiday. We had long lazy days by the pool, some nice days out to the bastide towns and alfresco dinners followed by games We rescued several frogs from the pool! There were plenty of distractions in the house for every age and we found the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Fabulous weather for two birthday celebrations and we found it to be a very peaceful and idyllic setting. Amazing house! We all made amazing memories and had a great time.
