Maison Palatini was just perfect – we really had a most wonderful, relaxing stay. The house is beautiful and so well equipped and a great location just a stroll from the fascinating old town of Pézenas
Can't believe we have to leave our new home in Najac. The château is magnificent—striking and enormous, yet cozy and welcoming; an easy walk to the lovely village, yet splendidly private and quiet on its own hill. Amazing views, spotlessly clean, superbly equipped and with the best pool we've ever had! The only thing that matches the château and setting is the warm, attentive and super-knowledgeable welcome and help from Henrietta and her team. They helped us to make the most of our stay. Those extra-mile touches made all the difference and we really appreciated them. We loved getting to know this part of France, which seems to combine so many of the wonderful things from the more 'discovered' regions, adding a twist or 2, delivered with a smile.
Nous avons adoré Le Séchoir, nous sommes rentrés à la maison et avons encore réservé pour trois semaines l'année prochaine. Situé dans les collines boisées au-dessus du village de Salviac. Ce un mélange de contemporain et d'ancien est parfait. La maison est spacieuse et bien équipée. Alors que la grande piscine peut sembler éloignée de la maison, elle est parfaitement positionnée pour le soleil toute la journée... ah, cette dernière baignade spéciale à la fin de la journée alors que les couchers de soleil sur la vallée et le rosé attendent au frais !
Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit ! Nous avons séjourné avec une famille de 8 personnes et avons passé un merveilleux séjour. La piscine est super, il y a un tennis de table et un grand et beau jardin. Il y a beaucoup de terrasses différentes où s'asseoir/se détendre/déjeuner et dîner. La cuisine est bien équipée, il y a une grande cuisinière et un barbecue pour cuisiner à l'extérieur. C'est calme et il y a beaucoup d'intimité. Sam et son mari sont très sympathiques, communicatifs et serviables. Nous avons loué les vélos électriques pendant deux jours et avons apprécié le cadre magnifique et rustique. Il y a un court de tennis à proximité auquel il est très facile d'accéder. En fait, nous ne pouvons rien trouver contre cet endroit, c'est vraiment super !

Nous avons passé de nombreuses heures heureuses à profiter de votre magnifique jardin et de votre piscine, tandis que la découverte de la campagne environnante à vélo a été idyllique. Les points forts ont certainement été la visite du château Azay le Rideau, le zoo de Beauval (à une heure et demie en voiture) et un déjeuner merveilleusement paisible au bord de la rivière sur La Route du Sel. Merci pour votre incroyable hospitalité, votre générosité et votre accueil. Nous espérons vraiment revenir l'année prochaine!
We fell in love with holidaying in France almost 30 years ago and I used to think that my heart belonged to Provence, until we stumbled across beautiful Manoir de Fouilloux, nestled in the lush green countryside of the Dordogne. Hugh and Ian, the hosts of the house are incredibly welcoming and attentive, but equally unobtrusive when you just want to relax on your own. They are very knowledgeable about the area and will give you their time all day, every day should you so desire, along with Oscar, their lovely dog, who is very happy to be fussed over or left alone to sleep in the shade out of sight. The interior of the house is breathtakingly beautiful. It is evident from the moment you step through the door, that so much thought and attention to detail has gone into every corner of the building; from the beautiful stone floors, to the light filled bedrooms with the most sumptuous bed linen (and the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on), to the fabulous showers and well equipped kitchen, every part of the house is simply brimming with everything you could ever need to make your stay as relaxing as possible. From the stunning interior, you step outside to the rear courtyard garden, which is inspired by the Yves Saint Laurent Moroccan garden and it's like nothing you could ever imagine. The vibrant blue that is unique to YSL garden has been matched exactly and is dotted around the garden with careful thought, creating a wonderfully calming area to relax in, with the magnificent tiled pond being the centrepiece of the area. Off the garden is the outdoor kitchen / seating area and again is a fantastically well thought out area, complete with it's own set of glass and tableware (so you don't have to keep going back into the kitchen to get things), outdoor gas barbecue and dishwasher, they really have thought of everything! It is truly the most tranquil place to spend time with family and friends. The pool at the front of the house is magnificent, complete with poolside lights, it is a fabulous place to enjoy in the evening too. Lying on the sun loungers soaking up the sun and looking out over the amazing garden is so restful; you'll never want to leave the house. But leave you must, as there is so much to see in the surrounding area; nearby St Aulaye has a pretty little town square where you can enjoy a relaxing drink, Saint-Jean-de-Côle, a beautiful medieval village dating back to the 11th Century, is so attractive with it's ochre coloured houses and the tranquil river Cole running through it. From Saint-Jean-de-Côle you can easily visit the caves at Villars; being a bit claustrophobic I declined to go down with the rest of the family, but they do come highly recommended! Another very pretty village is nearby Aubeterre, which has the most spectacular views, small selection of shops and restaurants dotted around a vibrant village square and at the foot of the village you can find a river beach, canoeing centre, football club and tennis club. Brantome is a charming town, often dubbed the Venice of Perigord, due to the river Dronne running through it. If you've ever read 'The Matchmaker of Perigord', you will find Brantôme mentioned in this and as you wander around the town, you can really see the characters come to life. It has a good selection of shops and restaurants so is definitely a worthy visit, even if you haven't read the book. Manoir de Fouilloux, is truly a magical place to stay, it is like coming up for fresh air. The only criticism I have of it is that once visited, you will never want to go anywhere ever again, so sorry guys, see you next year...
Nous avons loué la villa avec 2 autres couples et nous avons tous passé un moment fabuleux. Les Eyermann étaient des hôtes merveilleux et nous ont fourni une base idéale pour des sorties sur Nice, Cannes, Monte Carlo et Antibes pour des excursions d'une journée avec de courts trajets en voiture. Nous avons fait des promenades jusqu'à la mer tous les jours et les 3 boulangeries et épiceries ainsi que de nombreux restaurants ne sont qu'à quelques minutes. Nous avons utilisé la piscine chauffée tous les jours et pouvons honnêtement dire que nous n'avons jamais mangé de repas à l'intérieur. Le temps était fabuleux. Ce furent des vacances incroyables dont nous nous souviendrons toujours !
Your house is lovely and we all had a relaxing and enjoyable week. I think I can safely say that in all the years of hiring holiday accommodation in France we have not stayed in such a well appointed and well equipped property. We would all have happily stayed for another week. Jez and Bridget were a pleasure to deal with, very accommodating and very helpful. Thank you

Quel endroit merveilleux pour fêter deux anniversaires et un 25ème anniversaire. Le temps a été magnifique. Merci pour toutes les fleurs fraîches dans la chambre. Nous avons réservé la Maison Baleyssagues 2 ans avant nos dates (c'est très populaire !) et cela valait la peine d'attendre.
Cela aura été notre première villa de vacances et vous nous avez gâtés! Nous ne savons pas comment Maison Albarels pourrait être améliorée. Vous avez effectué un fantastique travail de rénovation sur votre maison familiale pour la transformer en charmante villa. Merci beaucoup pour votre hospitalité, tout spécialement pour le vin, les jus de fruits et les délicieuses cerises. Nous avons adoré Carcassonne - nous nous y sommes rendus une fois en voiture et à une autre occasion à pied, en marchant le long du Canal du Midi à Pezens. Le Château de Pennautier aussi - un Versaillles miniature - est grandiose. Le personnel de la boutique-restaurant était très aimable. Mention spéciale à la charmante dame de la boutique voisine, toujours souriante et aimable.

An incredible place to disconnect! The hosts treated us very well and took care very well that we did not lack anything. The house is very comfortable and beautiful, fully equipped and with very comfortable beds. All the rooms are comfortable and beautiful. You can tell that they have thought of everything and that they take care of the details with affection. We leave delighted and in love with the region and the environment that surrounds this dream house.
Beautifully maintained. Very clean fabulous house and grounds. Fantastic range of play equipment for the children and we all really enjoyed the lovely pol. We have all had a fantastic holiday in this beautiful and well equipped house.
Nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances ici dans la magnifique ville de Sarlat. La maison est parfaite avec de beaux meubles, une cuisine bien équipée et des douches incroyables. La piscine était exactement ce dont nous avions besoin après de longues journées passées à explorer les merveilleux sites de la Dordogne (le Gouffre de Padirac étant une visite majeure). L'emplacement de la maison est parfait, à distance de marche de la ville mais très paisible, entouré d'un beau jardin arboré. Nous espérons revenir l'année prochaine. We had a fantastic 2 week stay here, the house and outside space are really lovely and was the perfect setting for our family to spend time together. We explored the area but were always more than happy to return to the house and spend time around the swimming pool relaxing. Thank you

Excellent. Tres belles prestations pour cette maison au calme pour se retrouver en famille. La piscine est très grande et avec une vue imprenable sur la nature et les vignes. La région est très belle et les alentours en valent la peine Nous avons passe de très bonnes vacances et Marie qui vous accueille est très agréable. Christiane, la propriétaire est au petit soin pour que votre séjour se passe au mieux. Les équipements dans la maison que se soit mobiliers ou coin cuisine sont au top.

Two splendid weeks relaxing and sight seeing with a very beautiful home to come back too. We can't fault the house, we especially loved the kitchen, pool room, swimming pool and of course the marvellous views.
Beautiful maintained home and grounds. Excellent facilities for young families. All modern and child / baby amenities provided. Daily housekeeping was an added bonus compared to previous holiday rentals.
