A hidden gem in France, a great place to slow down! The rolling hills, amazing pool and views to die for. Perfect.

We stayed in this beautiful house in June of this year Wow what a find ! Situated in the magnificent village of Pezenas the house is only a few minutes walk away from amazing antique shops , Boulangeries, and craft shops. The house itself is perfect throughout with a great outdoor pool and lovely outdoor area for eating and even has separate games room too ! Carcassonne and Montpellier are easily accessible and should be explored! So much to do in the area, we will be back! Would highly recommend.
Nous y avons récemment passé un séjour très mémorable et agréable. Cette propriété luxueuse est confortable, bien présentée et très propre. Les vues depuis la propriété sont exceptionnelles et la piscine à l'horizon est le rêve de tout le monde. L'emplacement offre un accès aisé à Saint Paul de Vence et à la région environnante et constitue donc une base idéale pour découvrir les sites locaux.
A fantastic stay in a beautiful villa! Whilst parts of France may lay dormant, this region has tons of activities to offer Canoeing, walking tours of picturesque Pezanas, renting bikes at Lac du Saligou and if you're slightly odd a cracking gym 'area gym' just down the road.
Thank you so much for the most restful and enjoyable holiday we have had in ages! Everything was made so easy for us - the Loft is fitted out perfectly with so many additional little touches that we wanted for nothing. We particularly enjoyed the barbecue, the fantastic coffee machine (we're buying one when we get home!) and having breakfast and dinner on the amazing terrace. We had a good look round the local area and were particularly grateful for all your tips and recommendations. You have both been the most wonderful hosts and we have really enjoyed getting to know you over a glass of something cold! Thank you so much and we look forward to seeing you again next year!

Idyllic place. Very peaceful break had by all. Garlin is a lovely village. Great bakery for fresh bread and the essential Ecomarket. All in all, great location - awesome house that's been fitted out to a very high standard throughout and a wonderful, unspoilt part of France that we'd never been to before.

Nous avons aimé son emplacement - à la fois à Lezignan et le fait d'être proche de Pézenas et d'accéder facilement à d'autres endroits (nous sommes allés à Carcassonne, Montpellier, Millau, etc.). Merci d'avoir mis à disposition le vélo et le baby-foot ! C'était aussi agréable d'avoir une piscine - même si nous n'y sommes allés qu'une seule fois. De nombreuses informations utiles ont également été fournies dans la villa. Nous avons aimé le fait que vous nous ayez contacté personnellement - cela nous a rassuré avant notre voyage - merci pour votre aide. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons apprécié notre séjour et si nous revenons dans la région, nous reviendrions à la villa. Merci.
Wonderful time in a wonderful house. So peaceful here. The house had everything we could possibly want and more besides (including a visiting woodpecker). Laparade night market was a highlight. The restaurant there is pretty fabulous too. We spent loong days by the pool and long evenings on the terrace. Frédérique and Hélène at the shop provided all we needed including homemade lasagne. And Olivia couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you, Mark and Janet.
Nous avons adoré notre séjour ! Le gîte était magnifique, parfaitement équipé, et très calme. La piscine était fabuleuse. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et serviables, et les villages et châteaux environnants sont magnifiques et agréables à découvrir.

I have had one of the best holiday ever here. The weather was perfect and the pool cooled us down and provided a great source of entertainment. The beds were so comfy they got us ready for the next day. The bakery only a few minutes walk from here provided some delicious fresh bread each morning.
We have just come back from having a fab week. It was beautiful. We had a week of wonderful hot sunshine which prevented us from using the wonderful sitting room and the fire. This would be a great place for the cooler parts of the year as well as the summer. Also the kitchen was probably the best equipped kitchen that we have ever had the pleasure to use on a self catering holiday. The Garden was lovely. All in all a great place.
We, two couples, stayed the last week of June and the first week of July in La Picholine. We found modern comfort in an authentic environment in the well-equipped holiday homes Maison Carrée and Joie de Vivre. You can rightly say that you enjoy life here. Privacy, beauty, friendliness, a lovely swimming pool, the beautifully maintained gardens... it all comes to you here. And what we also appreciated very much: we arrived in a house where the basic necessities were present (such as coffee, tea, herbs and olive oil) and a nice bottle of wine and delicious (home-made!) cake were ready for us, which made us feel really welcome. Moreover, the area is also very attractive. From the tranquility of the domaine you drive to the liveliness and versatility of Avignon and Villeneuve and for example to Orange. The markets are very charming in the smaller towns nearby and there is also no shortage of nice restaurants. We really had a wonderful time, certainly also because of the friendliness of the owners.

The gite is beautifully furnished and very comfortable, the hosts Kirstie and Russell have made sure you have everything you need for your break. There is a lovely private seating area outside with dining area, hot tub and patio which looks out onto the orchard and fields. Wonderful place to stay in a great location for visiting local vineyards and historical towns and villages.

Nous utilisons régulièrement Pure France depuis de nombreuses années et nous avons toujours séjourné dans de fabuleuses villas très bien situées. Cependant, nous pensons que la Maison des Communes vient de relever la barre pour nous en termes de qualité de la villa avec ses nombreux bâtiments séparés et son mobilier exotique. La piscine était super et parfaitement alignée pour profiter du soleil du Languedoc et de l'Occitanie toute la journée. Et l'accueil des propriétaires nous a vraiment fait sentir les bienvenus et valorisés en tant que clients. Ils nous ont même aidés à porter nos bagages depuis la voiture ! Nous avons été tellement impressionnés que moins de 24 heures après notre arrivée, nous avons déjà réservé pour l'année prochaine. Nous avons hâte d'y retourner. 5 / 5

Lovely property, lots of space and well equipped. Play room added bonus. Caroline responded very promptly and efficiently when we discovered a wasp nest!
Fantastic stay in a wonderful house. Wonderful house for 7 people. The rooms were very spacious, as was the outside space. Excellent for families I would say. Very warm welcome by the host and pool was attended to throughout. Nice touch of having towels and bed linen changed during the stay for no extra charge (a first). Many thanks to Victoire and Gaby.
Thank you for much for another wonderful stay at your beautiful house. Our new home away from home! This time coming back in the summer we got to enjoy time by the pool with breathtaking views, monopoly in the living room, TV nights upstairs and dining under the stars outside. Your home is special to us and we always want to come back and never want to leave! It feels as if time stands still and our holidays feel so long and luxurious every time we are here.
Superbe villa contemporaine entouré d'un très grand et beau jardin , piscine de rêve ,bassin a poisson pour se détendre ou pour occupé les plus petits. Eva et son amie Audrey sont d'une grande gentillesse et nous on très bien accueillis et bien conseiller sur les visites et activités du coin ! Nous vous remercions encore pour tout.
Weather lovely watching the house and surroundings. Trip to a little place 45 or so miles away called Coulon well worth a day out there. It was a very pretty riverside town where you could hire bikes, canoes or kayaks or take a leisurely stroll only the banks. Then enjoy refreshments at the riverside bars/restaurants while enjoying the sunshine and scenery. Will definitely visit again. Stayed here many times and never get tired as there is always somewhere new to go and explore (if you can bear ro tear yourself away from here). Thanks Anna and James for letting us use your beautiful house.
