We had an amazing family holiday in the house, brilliantly equipped for all ages. Mel was great both before and after the holiday. The pool was lovely and warm with lots of inflatables, sun loungers etc. Would love to go back.
Quick note to express our gratitude for the hire of your property. What a wonderful time somebody had restoring this place to what it is today. We had a superb family celebration for our ruby wedding and explored the Drome and Ardeche localities. Many thanks.
You don't need us to tell you what a beautiful house this is and the bath with a view indeed. We didn't eat out much as the super markets were so convenient and the kitchen well equipped. We arrived in a heat wave, not complaining though! It was amazing and the wonderful pool helped us cool off. The children took their push bikes over the back of the vineyards to the cycle path and biked into Nyons, we also walked it which was most pleasant. As regards places of interest, we took ideas from the house book as it was too hot to visit the tourist information centre during opening hours and most of our exploring was done in the evenings.
Le Garden Cottage est exactement comme décrit. Il déborde de charme, de caractère et de bon goût. Il était d'une propreté impeccable. La grande piscine et le patio sont magnifiques, intimes et bien entretenus. Le cottage est très bien situé, à quelques minutes à pied ou en voiture du village de Thonac. Vous y trouverez une bonne pizzeria/bar, un hôtel avec jardin et restaurant intérieur, ainsi qu'une supérette. Deux grands supermarchés, une pharmacie et une station-service sont à seulement cinq minutes en voiture, à Montignac. C'est une charmante petite ville à visiter, où l'on peut acheter des billets pour Lascaux. Le cottage est idéalement situé pour visiter les nombreux sites touristiques de la région et les propriétaires ont fourni une brochure d'information sur les marchés locaux, les événements et les lieux à visiter. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour de quatre semaines et avons trouvé les propriétaires discrets, charmants et serviables. Nous recommandons sans hésiter cette propriété aux couples qui recherchent des vacances reposantes et confortables.
We loved our stay at this lovely Domaine, Today is our last day, and we’re leaving in pain. We really had the nicest time, Especially our cozy get-togethers with lots of good wine. The days have flown by, but there’s no need to cry, We will always remember Karen’s wonderful pie.

I just wanted to say that we all found your house to be absolutely lovely. Everything we could have hoped for. So many nice touches, you clearly put a lot of thought and no doubt effort into making it a very special place. We had an absolutely delightful holiday in Argeliers and all six of us (four adults and two children) loved the house and hated to leave. We did the usual visits for first-timers in the region: Carcassonne, Narbonne, Gruissan, the Abbaye de Fontfroide, various villages along the Canal du Midi, etc. We had a ball and were always looking forward to return to the Maison Tigre at the end of the day. The pool was a high-light, so much so that it was sometimes difficult to get the children out to visit (and the adults also). The house was also a delight, with such a great design that we immediately felt at home. Thank you also to Alan and Cathy for their warm welcome and very useful explanations. All six of us have very good memories of our (alas short) stay at Maison Tigre and we still remind each other often of our summer holiday. I would like to congratulate you again for the wonderful job you have done with the restoration of Maison Tigre, with the design and with the equipment provided, which was just right for us (I may be repeating myself here, but it really is a wonderful home, so another round of applause is not excessive!)
Nous avons passé d'incroyables vacances en famille au Château , où nous avons fêté notre anniversaire en grand groupe. Le château, le bâtiment annexe et le vaste parc privé sont magnifiques et très reposants. Nous avions tout ce dont nous avions besoin et le lieu était d'une propreté impeccable. Les hôtes ont pensé à tout et nous avons hâte de revenir.
Un endroit incroyable. C'est un lieu merveilleux où séjourner et Michael et Denise nous ont très bien accueillis avec une hospitalité chaleureuse et attentionnée. La villa était impeccablement présentée avec tout ce dont on pourrait avoir besoin. La piscine est magnifique, chaude, propre et vous voudrez peut-être y passer beaucoup de temps. Nous souhaitons remercier Michael et Denise pour ces merveilleuses vacances, nous recommandons vivement ce bel endroit et espérons y revenir très bientôt.
A delightful week spent in a beautiful corner of France. We are at least 20Kg heavier! (Shared between four people, in our defence). Extremely comfortable and tasteful accommodation - thank you for the warm welcome.
Great feeling of space with plenty of room for children to play. Pool was superb and much used. The childrens swimming skills improved immensely. Thank you Takayla for lovely food and for accommodating late arrival and intolerances. Nick and Takayla were available and friendly without being intrusive. A fantastic time was had by all the family. Many thanks and looking forward to next year already.
Comfortable house on the edge of Seillans village with lovely views. Great terrace for outdoor eating and a lovely, well maintained pool. Air conditioning in the bedrooms was lovely and silent. Good location for exploring the area, though you could easily just stay put, relax, eat at the local restaurants and shop at the well stocked local Carrefour. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and fully intend to come back.
A fantastically relaxing 2 weeks. The house and pool are perfect and Hugh and Ian couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. We've already booked for next year and can't wait to get back here.
Nous avons passé un agréable séjour avec 14 adultes et 4 petits (de 10 mois à 3 ans). Pour commencer, la piscine : assez grande, des sièges pour tout le monde et suffisamment d'ombre. Le patio : vue magnifique, spacieux, suffisamment d'ombre sous le grand arbre et un espace repas couvert avec un BBQ et une plancha où nous prenions tous nos repas. La maison : parfaite pour nos besoins. Chambres avec de la place pour des lits pour enfants, presque toutes les chambres avaient une salle de bain privée et plus qu'assez d'espace. Nous avons eu deux jours avec du mauvais temps, pas de problème nous nous sommes divisés en groupes où un groupe pouvait jouer à l'un des jeux de société disponibles et un autre au PS disponible et un autre jouer avec les plus petits. La cuisine disposait de tout et il y avait des toilettes supplémentaires. En plus de cela, il y avait un joli terrain de pétanque, une table de ping-pong, une table de billard, un panier avec toutes les fournitures disponibles, un espace de stationnement largement suffisant (nous avions 7 voitures).

A superb week spent in the Loft du Vigneron. Thank you Karen and Russell for being wonderful hosts and recommending amazing restaurants and equally great days out. Our 'home' for the week was truly special with so much attention to detail and gorgeous touches.
Nous venons de passer des vacances des plus merveilleuses dans une maison tout aussi magnifique, La Barde. La propriétaire nous a accueillis chaleureusement et nous a également préparé un gâteau inattendu mais très apprécié. La maison est absolument magnifique et grande, les pièces spacieuses et meublées avec goût permettent à chacun de se réunir ou de trouver un endroit calme. La maison est exceptionnellement bien équipée et les miroirs et les prises sont parfaitement placés pour se sécher les cheveux, un élément très important ! Fabuleuse piscine de bonne taille avec suffisamment de transats pour tous. Nous étions 8 personnes, 2 couples de parents avec nos 4 enfants adultes (18-25 ans). Nous avons tous convenu que c'était la meilleure maison que nous ayons louée (et nous louons de belles maisons depuis de nombreuses années). La propriétaire était tout simplement charmante et nous la voyions de temps en temps nettoyer la piscine tôt le matin. Idéalement situé à proximité des villes voisines d'Aubeterre et Bourdeilles et de belles promenades directement depuis la propriété. Nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir à La Barde à l'avenir et pensons que ce serait idéal pour tous les groupes d'âge.
Many thanks for your kindness, we loved the figs, wine et the apple pie. The pool was very nice and the house perfect. Thank you for this fabulous fortnight! Recommended trips with children: Narbonne and Gruissan beach, aerospace Museum in Toulouse, at least 2 trips to Carcassonne, Perpignan worth the drive, Saturday market in Carcassonne.

I have had the pleasure to have spent many fantastic holidays at Château Entre-Deux-Mers. The beauty of the castle, the quietness of garden with lovely roses, the great pool makes every holiday just perfect. The stunning view will make you happy, every morning again. Situated near the greatest wineries, the beautiful villages like Saint-Émilion and the hospitality of all the wine domains in the neighbourhood make it worthwhile to go back. The château is beautifully decorated, the rooms are spacious and bright, the kitchen is equipped to cook a 5 star dinner and if you don't want to cook yourself, breakfast and diner can be made by a great cook in your own kitchen and will be served in the lovely orangerie. You will never forget a holiday with friends or family at Château Entre-Deux-Mers. And... you will keep coming back!
En week-end en famille, tout le monde a été charmé et ravi par la maison de Sue. Très grande maison confortable et joliment décorée pourvue d un jardin et d une piscine de toute beauté et idéalement située au bord du canal du Midi. Sue est très sympathique et son accueil chaleureux. Nous recommandons et y retournerons pour un week-end détente.
Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour. L’appartement est très agréable, lumineux, très bien équipé. La grande terrasse avec vue sur le petit port et la mer est au top, avec le bruit des cigales. L’espace de vie est très lumineux et agréable à vivre. La cuisine est très bien équipée. Les commerces de proximité, dont un grand Géant Casino, sont accessibles en voiture, sur Beaulieu, à 5 minutes en voiture. Même si l’accès à la gare et au bus est assez simple, privilégiez la voiture… ou le bateau, car le port est en bas de l’immeuble.
