An absolutely fabulous villa, decorated and furnished inside and out to an exceptional standard. Perfect location with an amazing pool and relaxation area. Very efficient air conditioning. The advertising for this villa does not do it justice. Facilities like this are hard to find in a holiday rental.

Magnifique maison pour des vacances en famille, commodités de plain-pied et belle piscine avec bonne protection par alarme. Également un endroit idéal pour profiter de l'extérieur avec machine à pizza, barbecue et cuisine fonctionnelle très facile à utiliser. Beaucoup d'espaces salons extérieurs ombragés. La climatisation dans les chambres était un avantage considérable par temps chaud. De beaux meubles et nous nous sentions chez nous dans cette maison de famille heureuse. Accès facile à la boulangerie, au supermarché et au restaurant local, le tout à moins de 5 minutes à pied. Merci.
Merci de nous permettre de partager votre belle maison. Malgré le temps inhabituel, nous avons passé un moment fantastique ici et avons pleinement profité de la maison, de la piscine et des jardins. Les vues sont spectaculaires. Frédéric est un bijou, il a été très sympathique et accueillant, toujours joignable et serviable même en cas d'orage et suite à une coupure de courant. Nous emporterons des photos et des souvenirs qui dureront longtemps.
We came here to celebrate a couple of family birthdays and get some time together. From the moment we walked in the door we quickly came to realise what an amazing place this is. The view from the kitchen window (bu the sink) literally brought my sister to tears. ... in a very positive way. This week has allowed us to explore the area to some degree, but with so much on offer around and in the property, there was little incentive to go anywhere. The difficulty now will be to keep this gem of a property a secret from others, as we will undoubtedly tell everyone about this fantastic place. Thank you for so generously sharing your house. Nous avons vraiment adoré notre séjour au Château Des Grillauds. C'était le summum de nos vacances en Europe cet été. Cette propriété est pleine de caractère, bien équipée et confortable avec beaucoup de chambres et d'espace. Nous avons adoré l'emplacement avec de très bons marchés locaux presque tous les jours et il se trouve à moins d'une heure de Bordeaux et de vignobles remarquables tout en étant très central dans la Dordogne. Nos enfants ont adoré la piscine chauffée et maintenue à 30°C. Nous recommandons cette propriété à tout le monde. Merci beaucoup.
We just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful holiday in your beautiful house. You have made everything so comfortable and easy and it was such a joy to stay there. The location was perfect, such a peaceful spot with stunning views, in a pretty village. It exceeded all of our expectations. The region is so interesting too. We loved it all but especially the salt water swimming pool and the way you have landscaped the whole outside areas. We spent as much time as we could relaxing there. I hope we can return for another holiday soon! Thank you from us all. We couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. It really was perfect.
The place is lovely and very well furnished. As someone else said in your guest book, your house offers almost everything we were hoping for in our holiday in France. A large, well-appointees home with fantastic views and a cool fairly deep pool, proximity to a nice town where supplies are aplenty; vineyards in the surroundings and even a couple of michelin-starred restaurants nearby.

A lovely town house in a quiet village, with the added bonus of a pool. We enjoyed dining on the terrace in the evening watching the sun set.
Awesome! Kids LOVED it. Beautiful grounds and so much space, also spotless clean. Very well equipped, even had sharp knives! Superb setting. Great BBQ. Help and good advice always available. Indian food was great! Lovely way to start the holiday after hours of driving! We have stayed at many holiday homes and this is right up there as one of, if not the best we have stayed at!
Thank you for a wonderful and relaxing two weeks. We have loved getting to know this part of France (and it’s wine!), playing boules in the garden and watching all the birds. We particularly enjoyed the Grand Cafe Occitane and the beaches at Leucate. Your attention to detail and the warm welcome made us feel immediately at home and we really appreciated the pool being kept so clean.
We stayed at your villa in Pézenas for a week in September and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday there.
Lots of space for 3 generations of family. Kids loved pool house brilliant and they loved playing in grounds. Playroom kept kids entertained. Lots of toys and videos. Excellent. Gas BBQ was fab. Lovely cooker and dishwasher, tumble dryer made for easy holiday. Takayla and Nick excellent hosts, great welcome and nice to know they are on hand for any problems. Would come back again.
Superbe propriété avec tout le confort. Nous avons passé une semaine en juillet 2023 en famille et avons adoré la beauté de ce domaine. La piscine à débordement, le jacuzzi et la table de ping-pong ont fait la joie des enfants. Le parc arboré offre un bel espace de détente et de promenade. I just wanted to let you know that we had a fantastic holiday. The only terrible part was leaving! The house was perfect and we all fell in love with it. And the views were wonderful from every room. The whole family have lots of happy memories of our 2 weeks there so thank you.

Merci encore de nous avoir permis de découvrir votre belle maison - nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances et avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour au Domaine de Nérige, la maison a dépassé nos attentes, tant par le style, le confort et l'emplacement. Votre repas préparé pour le dîner était merveilleux! Les magasins LeClerc avaient tout ce dont nous avions besoin, les vignobles à proximité étaient super et très accueillants, Carcassonne était fascinante, Limoux était vraiment sympa et faire du vélo le long du Canal de Midi était délicieux - mais revenir à la maison en fin de journée était tellement relaxant et le point culminant! Nous espérons revenir avec un peu de chance un jour.
Enjoyed a lovely short break but just as the weather broke down. However, the cottage is a gem that the owners have restored to a very high standard. Pool and sauna are excellent and the views are gorgeous. Close enough to some quaint villages with all amenities in easy reach. The cottage and surrounding area is very peaceful and just what we were looking for. The owner was super responsive to our few queries.

Nous avons apprécié le vin mousseux, les belles fleurs et la maison est tout simplement incroyable avec tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Les points forts pour nous ont été le neuf trous de golf juste à l'extérieur de Saumur, le vélo, la visite de vignobles, des repas au restaurant et la détente au bord de la piscine. Nous avons attrapé des gardons, des naseux et trois grosses brèmes. Il y avait un beau martin-pêcheur au bord du ruisseau. Temps parfait et nous avons tout apprécié d'autant plus après toutes les restrictions de ces deux dernières années.
Utterly charming property with wonderful views across the landscape. The property has a tasteful appearance and matched by comfortable furnishings and very well appointed. The swimming pool terrace is a superb elevated location from which to appreciate the beautiful scenery of the surrounding villages. The rooms are all a good size as are the unspoilt and private gardens, which are well stocked and quite attractive. We had a superb vacation with friends and we would certainly return again in the future. The local villages are blessed with an array of shops selling good quality local produce, as well as a selection of restaurants, bars, café s etc and we would recommend some of the local vineyards for excellent Rose du Provence wines. Highly recommended.
Une belle maison agréable et très bien équipée. Jardin et piscine bien entretenus. Nous n'oublierons pas non plus cette belle colline et cette merveilleuse région. Pour ne pas parler du mémorable match de ping-pong et du babyfoot!
Nous avons passé un superbe séjour. La vieille ville de Carcassonne, la jolie Minerve, de bons restaurants de gastronomie locale. Grand café en bas de la rue à Félines-Minervois pour un long déjeuner. La piscine est un régal pour se rafraîchir. J'espère revenir.
We have had such a lovely week staying here. The house has everything you could need and the pool is so nice. Hugh and Ian have need fantastic hosts and we appreciate very much, the gift of plums and grapes from the garden.
We enjoyed our relaxing holiday at Le Tesquet which lived up to expectations. The accommodation was great with everything we needed>Pete was a genial host who was fun of good ideas and suggestions. The swimming pool was wonderful. Thank you.
Nous avons passé de merveilleux moments dans votre très belle maison ! Ces 2 semaines ont passé beaucoup trop vite et nous sommes tristes de partir. Même si le temps n'était pas très ensoleillé ces derniers jours, nous avons pu nagé tous les jours. La piscine est super et elle va nous manquer. Nous avons visité Minerve, Carcassonne, Béziers, Narbonne et Lagrasse. Des croissants tous les matins au van à 10h, délicieux ! J'adore la décoration et tout ce qui se trouve dans la maison et le design vintage, vous avez beaucoup de style. J'espère revenir un jour bientôt.
What a truly wonderful place!! Although the photos show a beautiful place, they do not do justice to the reality, which was perfection. The chateau, its grounds and the location are all outstanding and so big! Lots of walks and places to explore. Gaelle, the host, was there if we needed, answering emails very quickly and offering help and recommendations . We were a party of 15 with ages from 3 to 73. Everyone felt comfortable and well catered for. A perfect holiday!
