We have had a splendid time here and greatly enjoyed the villa. It was very relaxing and comfortable place with incredible views over the vineyards and hill. We spent a lot of time by the pool but also explored the neighbouring sights - Roquebrun was great fun and we also liked Minerve and managed to get down to the coast at Cabaues-les-Fleury.

Amazing holiday location! Great views of a peaceful quaint little village in south of France, and don't even need to get out of the pool. Everything you need is provided by the host, excellent quality of service for the price. Great variety of excursions possible in the area, be it sporty, cultural or plain shopping and farniente! Looking forward to coming back again as soon as possible!!!

A beautiful romantic setting carefully renovated by the owner to give a wonderful Provençal experience. The closeness to Gordes and all the other hill top villages nearby made this a dream vacation for myself and my family.
Nous faisons écho aux commentaires de vos précédents invités dans votre belle maison et votre jardin. L'attente a été longue avant d'arriver ici, mais cela en valait la peine. Tant de vignobles, tant de châteaux mais si peu de temps. L'un de nos souvenirs impérissables restera d'avoir eu pied au milieu de la Loire sur le lit de la rivière. Nous espérons que la rivière reviendra bientôt.
We had the most wonderful ‘family and friends ‘gathering at La Petite Maison Générille. The hosts were most wonderful and nothing was too much trouble . They told us of markets, restaurants, gardens and vineyards… all were wonderful. The houses are spacious and well equipped the grounds and gardens perfect and the salt water pool... bliss. We had children and tiny grandchildren with us and it was the perfect base to explore the wonderful villages such as Sarlat with its night market and Domme . We went canoeing and swam in the river, visited nearby châteaux and ended our week at a wonderful Bricante taking a few French antiques home… Altogether a fabulous week I only wish we had stayed longer ! We look forward to returning to this very special place with wonderful hosts who were so kind and helpful.

La Petite Maison Générille is pure magic. Tucked away in the rolling hills of the Dordogne, this peaceful gîte blends rustic charm with stylish comfort. The saltwater pool is dreamy, the interiors are beautifully done, and every corner feels like a breath of fresh French countryside air. We didn't want to leave — and we're already planning our return.
Un séjour incroyable dans une propriété absolument magnifique. Une attention particulière portée aux détails, tant esthétiques que pratiques, ainsi qu'une hospitalité et une générosité de premier ordre de la part de nos hôtes, Gary et Mark. Nous avons passé une semaine tellement reposante et reposante, et nous y retournons, totalement convertis au Cognac !

You were so welcoming and helpful with all your tips and recommendations and we very much enjoyed your company too. Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour au Petit Pigeonnier: la maison est très bien entretenue, spacieuse et équipée de tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Grand jardin avec belle piscine et vue imprenable sur les vignes ; très paisible et relaxant. Nous avons fait beaucoup de randonnées à travers les vignes avec beaucoup de balades différentes. La région a pas mal de vieux et beaux villages historiques, beaucoup de restaurants avec de bons vins et une cuisine délicieuse. Les propriétaires étaient adorables, toujours serviables pour vous donner des conseils sur les endroits où aller mais vous permettant également toute la liberté autour de la maison en cas de besoin. Merci pour ce beau séjour relaxant et l'accueil chaleureux.
What a delight! The two bedroom cottage was very spacious and comfortable - actually seemed bigger than the photos depict. Our hosts couldn't have been more welcoming and supportive and had a genuine interest in making our stay as enjoyable as possible, from recommendations and help with reservations at wonderful local restaurants, to suggestions for local sites to visit, to making sure we were comfortable when we experienced some inclement weather. We would love to return and highly recommend this unique property to anyone planning to spend time touring the gorgeous Dordogne area.

First things first - Karen, Russell and the girls (Mack and Mabel) are wonderful hosts. Warm, friendly, thoughtful and yet discreet. They love what they're doing and it shows as nothing is too much trouble. Their enthusiasm for their ventures (current and future) is infectious. Secondly is the 'Loft du Vigneron' - a fabulous property offering everything - and more - that you could hope for. Karen and Russell's sense of style has been imprinted on it and their attention to detail has left nothing wanting. Every comfort has been considered from the fabulous welcoming pack to 'The White Company' range of toiletries. The terrace was our favourite place with the sun streaming through the roof and the warm breeze cooling us down. Rieux-Minervois is a typical French village and perfectly situated to explore the entire Minervois region from Carcassonne in the West, East to the Mediterranean, and all the lovely historical villages North and South. In conclusion, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful property with the perfect hosts - highly recommended without hesitation. Our very best wishes for every success in you new venture. Nous avons passé une semaine très reposante ici. Les enfants ont passé 90 % de leurs journées dans la piscine ! Quelques sorties, une au marché d'Olonzac et à la plage, mais les meilleures journées ont été passées à la villa. Vues époustouflantes et si paisibles. J'ai apprécié cuisiner les dîners, la cuisine a tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Départ vers le nord dans le camping-car demain pour continuer nos vacances mais le luxe de la villa nous manquera.
Absolutely fabulous stay at Maison Richelieu – we will definitely be booking again.
Heaven on Earth. Our two week stay at Villa Chiavari was an absolute dream; I could not be more enthusiastic in recommending this home to anyone looking to spend their vacation in a veritable paradise. We were 2 couples, 3 children and 1 grandparent and booked an 'off-season' holiday at the end of September. Not long after our arrival we realised a major perk of booking 'off season': uncrowded beaches with absolutely perfect summer weather! Villa Chiavari's spectacular ocean-view infinity pool is surrounded by lounge-chairs and palm trees and bordered by a lush garden... good luck ever tearing yourself away. I should also mention that this lavish pool area is accessible by both the main living quarters of the house and by the bedrooms, which we found extremely convenient for our kids and elderly grandparent. Pool amenities also include a shaded lounge and dining area (also with an ocean view), a barbecue, outdoor refrigerator, pool toys and floats and easy access to a downstairs kitchenette. The grounds at the front of the house include a lush garden, an elevated hammock-hideaway in a quiet shady corner and an outdoor eating area punctuated by a lovely little fountain. The bedrooms are attractively furnished, comfortable and very clean. Five out of six have full attached bathrooms. All bedrooms are equipped with Wi-Fi and air conditioning, as is the main area of the house. The upstairs living/dining/den areas are elegant yet cozy at the same time and the entire back 'wall' of this floor is composed of large sliding glass doors that open onto a beautiful terrace running the length of the entire villa. There is a dining area and lounge on this upper terrace as well! The kitchen has every piece of equipment you can think of and if you're looking for the ultimate in extravagance, the owners will set you up with your own chef. They arranged for us a very personable French cook who prepared truly delicious, fresh meals that even our children were not afraid to eat. Sublime. Speaking of kids, families will find this home very child-safe. There are gates on stairways, the entire property is fenced-in (artfully disguised by beautiful flowers and foliage) and there is a smattering of children's furniture (highchair etc) available for use. We were also really comforted by the fact that the owners of this home are easily reached and are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be booking again and I encourage anyone interested in perfection to do the same!
Nous ne pouvons pas partir sans dire quel privilège se fut d'être les premiers hôtes de cette magnifique villa. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, la maison est juste parfaite. Nous avons bien visité la région, Grimaud, Port Grimaud, Saint-Maxime and Gassin - toutes méritent une visite. Nous sommes même allés faire du ski nautique et nous recommandons chaudement Adventure Sports à Saint-Tropez, qui propose plusieurs sports nautiques. Nous espérons que les prochains hôtes passeront un merveilleux séjour comme nous l'avons fait.

Fantastic holiday! The villa is wonderful and we loved the garden and pool - and everyone was so helpful. It's great that Pézenas is within walking distance, there's such a good atmosphere there at night.
Great villa, fantastic weather, good location. The children enjoyed the pool and nana enjoyed the shade of the willow! Lovely beaches like home in Cornwall, if only we had the weather! The jet skiing was awesome and kids caught a squid rock pooling, along with many crabs.
The house was beautiful! Very characterful. Anything you need is present. Plenty to do in the surrounding areas. Contact was good and clear. This house is definitely recommended for your vacation!
