We have so enjoyed our week here in our very own secret garden. Who would imagine there would be such a magical place waiting for us, just a second from the road? After many moments of uncertainty, it has been a huge tonic to relax in the sunshine in this beautiful garden and enjoy relaxing with our daughters. We haven’t explored very much beyond the Loft, but the countryside is beautiful, the wine and food delicious and the canoeing trip exhilarating and at times a little scary! Karen and Russell are the perfect hosts - always present but never in your space. They have created a perfect holiday home - immaculate and brilliantly equipped, and the fridge and cupboards generously filled to enhance your welcome and stay. We have enjoyed hours by the perfect pool and will fondly remember our 2021 say here. Hopefully we will be back! Thank you, Karen and Russell for everything.
It was a perfect house for our summer holiday. Beautiful village where it is located. We were really happy about it and recommend it! From there it is easy to go to Narbonne, Carcassonne or other beautiful places along the Canal du Midi. Thank you!
Fabuleuse location de vacances pour la famille et les amis. 10 d'entre nous ont récemment séjourné ici pour une pause en groupe. Nous n'aurions pas pu rêver d'un meilleur endroit où séjourner. Les propriétaires étaient très serviables et arrangeants, ils ont vraiment fait de cet endroit un endroit spécial. La maison est joliment meublée et confortable, les jardins sont magnifiques et il y a beaucoup à faire dans la région aussi si vous ne voulez pas simplement vous détendre au bord de la piscine en profitant du soleil. Je le recommande vivement.

Fantastic holiday! The villa is wonderful and we loved the garden and pool - and everyone was so helpful. It's great that Pézenas is within walking distance, there's such a good atmosphere there at night.
We thought that the Loft was lovely. We've had a great two weeks in beautiful accommodation. We've enjoyed exploring the region but have left plenty to do to give us a reason to come back. I know the girls will miss Mack and Mabel - we'll keep you posted if we succumb to their requests to get one of our own! Thank you both for your company and warm hospitality.
I had the great pleasure of spending a fabulous week at this property. An oasis in the center of this charming french town. 3 minutes walk to the town where you find boulangeries selling fresh croissants in the morning; to lovely restaurants scattered around the cobbled back streets and a fabulous weekend market. The surrounding area has much to offer for those keen on exploring Agde, Sete or beautiful Marseillan, to name just a few. The property itself is decorated to the highest standard. You can see it was a labour of love. Stylish and yet homely. The bedrooms beautifully decorated light and airy. Beds so comfortable. The kitchen designed for entertaining. A huge open plan sitting and dining area perfect for a cosy family meal or a dinner party, as we enjoyed on more than one occasion. The outside area perfect for a long day lounging by the pool or chilling in the evening with the bbq going. A totally private setting! What more could one ask for. Great communication with the owner. Nothing was a problem. I would highly recommend this property, if you are looking for a 5 star experience in a stunning location.
Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse dans ce magnifique château. Le cadre est splendide et les équipements sont impeccables. Les enfants ont adoré la grande piscine, et surtout le plongeoir. Nous serions ravis de revenir. Merci.

Nous nous sentons tellement chanceux d'avoir eu cette chance d'explorer les magnifiques endroits autour de la maison et de séjourner dans cette maison.
Cette belle villa au milieu des vignes possédait tout le confort imaginable. La piscine chauffée était un rêve. Nous tenons également à mentionner la propreté exceptionnelle. Les hôtes font tout pour que vous vous sentiez à l'aise et que vous puissiez passer d'agréables vacances.
What a stunning location. We have had a wonderful week and extremely sad to be leaving this idyllic spot. The house is incredibly well appointed and kitted out with everything we could possibly have needed. We spent the week relaxing and fitting in the odd wine tasting, horse ridding lessons for our two girls and visiting the brilliant goat farm! Thank you so much for the incredible stay!
I spent a week at this villa in September with my young family. It was perfect. Villa: The property itself is beautiful. It enjoys a large plot and is nicely secluded. The property is very well maintained. The bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen etc. look as they have recently been refurbished. The pool area / gardens are stunning and very well secluded. There is a pool-house equipped with a brick barbecue, kitchen / dining area and shower / toilet. We spent most of our time in this area. Location: The drive from Nice airport is about 45 minutes - it's quite a straightforward journey, mostly on the motorway. I believe Marseille airport is a similar distance away. The property sits in a very nice, secluded area close to many vineyards. The town square (Vidauban) is about 5 minutes' drive from the property. There you will find everything you need from supermarkets through to restaurants and bars. St Tropez, Cannes and Monaco are all under 1 hour away by car Overall, I would highly recommend this villa. I have stayed at other villas in France, which have felt quite dated. This property has been very well maintained and modernised, but still has that French charm about it. We will definitely be returning to this property

Wow what a fab house! We had a brill time chilling in the garden and visiting local toddler friendly places... Would highly recommend the following:- Monkey village, paddling at Villefagnan and Cognac visit. We spotted red squirrels in the garden. The welcome pack is the best and most comprehensive we have every had and was so appreciated. Thank you! We would love to come again some time!

Nous nous sommes sentis si détendus dans notre petite bulle merveilleuse qu'il est si difficile de revenir à la réalité ! Une semaine en famille plus sereine au Mas Saint-Martial.
Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour au château du Périgord. Le château est magnifique et décoré avec goût. Le parc est splendide. La campagne est très belle et très apaisante. La piscine est sécurisée et bien équipée. Parfait.
Nous avons passé la meilleure semaine ici dans cette belle maison, un endroit parfait, la maison avait tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Nous n'avions pas de voiture mais tout était accessible à pied. Nous avons passé chaque soirée à boire un verre au « Pub » en centre-ville, offrant de très bons cocktails. Le restaurant Chez le Gaulois a servi le meilleur plateau de fromages et de charcuteries, je ne pourrais pas les recommander davantage. NOUS ADORONS CET ENDROIT et nous reviendrons certainement l'année prochaine. Merci Jackie et Geoff pour ce beau séjour.
Somewhere special. From the moment we arrived at Le Manoir des Fouilloux we knew it was somewhere special. The attention to detail in every little corner of the beautiful and spacious house and grounds are the result of great vision and an enormous labour of love by its delightful owners Ian and Hugh. Le Manoir exudes a classic, elegant style, with some fun and quirky touches and is luxurious throughout, whilst also allowing you to feel truly relaxed and pampered. You are really spoilt for choice with so many quiet corners to sit, read, relax, snooze, chat and drink rosé as well as several areas to enjoy sunny or shady breakfasts, long lunches and suppers. With a 10 and 13 year old in tow and temperatures of up to 37 degrees, we spent a large part of our time around the stunning pool Hugh and Ian have created. Not wanting to be too lazy though, there are plenty of things to do very close by – kayaking, tree top climbing and river swimming can all be done from St Aulaye and Aubeterre is also well worth a visit. Ian and Hugh are the most thoughtful and considerate hosts and should be rightly proud of the tranquil haven they have created. This was quite possibly the best family holiday we have had and we hope to return one day to enjoy it all over again! Thank you all.

What a marvellous place it was to stay - faultless in every respect.
J'ai séjourné dans cette maison deux fois, une fois en famille et une fois avec des amis. Les deux séjour furent excellents. La villa est spacieuse avec tout le nécessaire et est très bien entretenue. A la dernière visite, il était visible que'il y avait eu des investissements pour moderniser l'intérieur de la villa. Le point le plus attractif est la piscine, qui est fantastique. Nous avons passé beaucoup de temps à la cuisine d'été et le barbecue autour de la piscine et faire des aller-retours pour se baigner. Très reposant. Le jardin est grand, idéal pour les enfants qui peuvent courir en toute sécurité. Vidauban est un beau village avec magasins, cafés, restaurants autour de la place du village, etc... Et non loin, la Côte d'Azur, des parcs aquatiques, et les pittoresques Gorges du Verdon, avec pléthore d'activités aquatiques, windsurf, pédalos... sans oublier les vignobles locaux et le vin Rosé du coin. Nous recommandons chaleureusement cette villa.
This is an ideal holiday home if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing time surrounded by beautiful countryside. There are no other houses nearby, yet you are only a 10 minute drive from the nearby Bastide of Monpazier and larger town of Villareal, where there are shops, restaurants, markets etc. The pool is a good size and well maintained and the house is very well equipped. We have been coming to France for over 10 years and this is the only property which has enticed us back for 2 years running.
Our family loved staying in this farmhouse. We couldn't get the kids out of the pool, the sunsets were beautiful and we enjoyed watching the birds fly all around us. It was a great place to come home to after a full day of sightseeing. Very relaxing!
Lovely holiday home. This was the first time we had stayed in this area of Perigord. The house was fantastic, very large for 4 people and had a really good swimming pool. The house is only 2 km from the river which is also lovely to swim in. There is also a lake nearby at Grolejac as well if you prefer that. The property is in a quiet but central location with numerous beautiful towns to visit nearby (e.g. Domme and Sarlat) and lots of activities to enjoy. We had a great 2 week holiday here!

La chose somme toute incroyable de cette maison, c'est que l'on s'y sent chez soi très vite. Nous sommes comme dans un cocon, magnifique, reposant, vivifiant. Nous avons passé ici 15 jours incroyables, des vacances que nous garderons en souvenir durant des années. Des coins étonnants, une mer enivrante, des découvertes enrichissantes, et une bande d'amis qui se sont rapprochés grâce à ce cadre. Cette villa est d'une beauté et d'une qualité incroyable, le cadre époustouflant entre la vue sur la mer et le coucher de soleil sur les Cévennes, la piscine chauffée disponible à toute heure du hour et de la nuit ajoute encore une excellence au cadre. Nous sommes ici au calme bien que nous ayons tout ce qu'il faut autour, notamment à Béziers, au Cap d'Agde, à Sigean... L'Espagne est toute proche pour un dépaysement encore plus accru. Nous reviendrons avec grande joie et vous remercions très chaleureusement.
C'est notre dernière nuit aux Jumelles et nous sommes tous tristes de quitter votre magnifique maison et jardin. Nous n'avons que de bons souvenirs de notre séjour et vous nous avez fait nous sentir extrêmement détendus au cours des deux dernières semaines. Le temps a été parfait et nous a permis beaucoup d'amusement dans la piscine et de profiter de votre fantastique jardin.
Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre dernière semaine à Camirout. Nos endroits préférés ont été Bergerac, Monpazier et le marché nocturne de Prayssas. Tous mettaient en valeur la belle histoire de cette région et une cuisine exceptionnelle. La piscine a diverti les enfants pendant des heures. Merci beaucoup. Toute notre affection, famille Adams.
Like a 5 star hotel! What a great week we spent in your lovely home in France. You have done it so well and we really felt we were staying in a family home not simply a gîte. Your attention to detail shows. The garden is beautiful and all the 'toys' were very much appreciated with a week long tennis and croquet tournament! And of course the piece de resistance was the swimming area which was like a 5 star hotel.
