Maison Des Vignobles is a property full of character features and a really high level of facilities with thoughtful finishing touches. Very spacious downstairs is complemented by a superb master bedroom with large en suite looking out over the neighbouring vineyard. Top quality plumbing next to period features is always good! Debbie was the perfect neighbour/owner, being super helpful and generous with a welcome pack and her local knowledge. The laundry room with local products for sale (including wine) was an unexpected bonus. The courtyard, pool and gardens are all lovely, though one tiny shame is that they are on the other side of the house from the big view across the vineyard - but many of the windows have that view so no reason to miss the sunsets and stars.
Great house, pictures on the website don't do it justice. Fantastic feeling of being in the middle of nowhere, even though you are not. Great supermarket around the corner.

We had a wonderful time at Château Grandchamp de Chablis in Burgundy and will certainly be back. All details of both the house and the care of the guests are carefully thought through and attended to and we had the perfect combination of privacy and feeling attended to while there. The property is beautiful and the owners have wonderful taste. The grounds have a myriad of eating spots and activities including swimming pool, tennis, lovely walks and a feeling of privacy. The owners are gracious and eager to be sure you have the resources to make the most of your stay with their long experience and knowledge of the area. A special holiday to experience a French home of this level and explore the extensive area of Burgundy not far from Paris. A rare find indeed!
A real paradise... Villa with everything available Beautiful. Very quiet and convenient place, well served by shops and supermarkets. We were driving a few minutes from the beaches and the cities of Cannes... Nice... The owner was very welcoming and kind.

Nous avons adoré l'emplacement et la maison. Très grand et confortable avec un joli coin repas et une superbe piscine, bien sécurisée avec couverture électrique. Lieu très calme. Beaucoup de choses à faire et à découvrir. Nous reviendrons.
Excellent séjour chez vous, tout est admirablement organisé pour bien vivre rapidement la maison et la région. La piscine est une merveille. Le jardin et la maison sont bien pensés avec la superbe vue, sans vis à vis. La maison est en même temps très proche du village, à 10min à pied, donc le meilleur des deux mondes. Bravo pour les notes, informations, jeux etc. Tout est très pratique et facile à l’emploi.
Le confort et le bon goût règnent dans cette maison. Des champs à perte de vue la Dordogne à 2 pas. On se sent bien dans cette maison familiale. Prestations de qualité. Les propriétaires ont veillé à notre confort et nous ont fournis de bonnes adresses pour profiter des merveilles de cette région.

The house is beautiful - amazing views, wonderful pool, very comfortable beds. We had a fantastic time - didn't see as much of the area as planned - as everyone so happy playing in pool!
We had a thoroughly enjoyable family gathering at Le Presbytère. It is a beautiful, atmospheric, ancient house set in large grounds. A great place for peace and rest or equally perfect for a gathering of friends or family. We found it so relaxing to sit around in the garden or at the poolside and there is lots of safe space for the kids to play (table tennis, boules and of course the pool were great successes). The house is amazing - such a sense of history and unusual features like old tiles, fireplaces and a lovely old oak beam running across the upstairs landing. It's very roomy so, even if you are staying with a group, it never feels crowded. The surrounding area has lots of great restaurants and fresh produce from the markets. There is excellent cycling and walking around the network of country roads and footpaths. Also the various bastides (12th century fortified towns) are really fascinating. We loved Bonaguil, Monflanquin and Vilareal but there are so many to choose from and they all have their own character. It's also less than an hour to the Dordogne. We had such a great, relaxing and enjoyable time at Le Presbytère and we hope to return in the future. Thank you so much for an unforgettable holiday.

This villa was the perfect place for a two family holiday. The pool was very cool and refreshing after a hot day of sight-seeing / shopping! The whole two week trip was plenty relaxing and a lot of fun! This house is gorgeous. We will not forget this trip! P.S. a great pizza place down the road!
This is my second visit to the beautiful ‘Rusty Shears gite’ hosted by Kirstie and Russell. From the outset our stay was just perfect. We were made very welcome and even had welcome drinks upon arrival. This was a special visit for my mums birthday and Kirstie even baked a cake, which was absolutely delicious. The gite is immaculately presented and the interior is simply gorgeous, with sumptuous cushions, uniquely bespoke painted furniture and house plants that compliment the gite’s luxurious eclectic style. The outside space is perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine and listening to the nature that surrounds the outside space. They have thought of everything; an outside eating area, complete with overhead sails to stay in the shade, corner sofa area complete with parasol to stay in or out of the shade, a bbq area with small outside prep area, hot tub and even 4 sun loungers. The location is set in the countryside so expect to drive or cycle to the local vineyards and restaurants but rest assured Kirstie and Russell can recommend plenty of places of interest and even arrange cycle hire or restaurant bookings if preferred. All in all a really tranquil long weekend away that offered us plenty of tasty local food, vineyard visits, rest and relaxation in the sunshine. If you’re an animal lover then you’ll also appreciate Kirstie’s love of animals too and if you’re lucky you’ll get to taste a freshly laid egg from ’Cluckingham palace!’ A truly wonderful space and warm welcome that will encourage you to return. A gem of a holiday find - we will definitely be going back soon! Thank you Kirstie and Russell for your hospitality during our stay at Rusty Shears gite and for making great memories!

A superb holiday villa that has the WOW factor. Great swimming pool and poolside area with large grassed area for games such as badminton and croquet for which the equipment is provided. Lovely quiet location with good facilities and things to do a short drive away. Would definitely stay again. Owner very helpful.
We are all having the most idyllic time here in your beautiful home - it is just perfect and so beautifully and tastefully presented - the weather is incredible and the pool in full use - we have visited Ilsle sur la Sourgue, Châteauneuf du Pap and the surrounding villages which are all charming - so all very well!
Fabulous week learning about wine in an amazing setting. Manoir Lemance is the most wonderful, tranquil and stylish place I have stayed in France and I have stayed in many. The owners have taken great care and attention in restoring the beautiful buildings, choosing the internal furnishings and creating the amazing swimming pool and grounds. We were warmly welcomed and looked after really well all week. The local area is full of amazing villages, great vineyards and beautiful countryside. If you are looking for a very French holiday with the added support of English speaking hosts, in the most beautiful setting, then this is the place for you.

Vous avez transformé ce bâtiment en une maison des plus merveilleuses et, plus encore, en une maison accueillante et confortable, nous nous sentons privilégiés d'y avoir séjourné. Il ne nous manquait rien (sauf peut-être un peu plus de soleil et un peu moins de vent). Tous ceux qui nous y ont rejoint ont exprimé leur même appréciation. Merci beaucoup. Thank you so much for making our holiday such a comfortable one. This house is so cosy and well-equipped, especially the kitchen! Our boys loved the wooden die and boules. We have used Pure France for 5 years now and this has been by far the best holiday home! We particularly appreciated the discrete, yet available presence of the owners and the e-mails were definitely very helpful with information on which places to visit.
Nous venons de séjourner dans cette superbe maison. Elle a tout pour plaire. Calme et vue magnifique depuis une ancienne grange magnifiquement restaurée. Tout le confort nécessaire pour un séjour inoubliable : climatisation, piscine flambant neuve, cuisine entièrement équipée, le tout agrémenté par la rencontre avec Florence, la propriétaire qui habite à côté. Les supermarchés sont à seulement 10 minutes en voiture, ce qui en fait un endroit idéal. Merci Florence, passez un bel été et soyez rassurée : vous aurez encore beaucoup de visiteurs satisfaits.
En nageant sous le soleil à La Barde, nous avons vécu un séjour luxueux dans un endroit idéal pour nous rappeler les aspects les plus importants de la vie : la famille, la nature et l'amour. C'est tellement évident que chaque recoin de cette maison a été conçu et est entretenu avec amour. Une escapade parfaite dans les collines de Lusignac.
Nous faisons écho aux commentaires de vos précédents invités dans votre belle maison et votre jardin. L'attente a été longue avant d'arriver ici, mais cela en valait la peine. Tant de vignobles, tant de châteaux mais si peu de temps. L'un de nos souvenirs impérissables restera d'avoir eu pied au milieu de la Loire sur le lit de la rivière. Nous espérons que la rivière reviendra bientôt.
Une vue imprenable, une belle maison et un soleil radieux... Qu'espérer de plus de la vie? Ah, la cuisine et le vin français!
Un grand merci d'avoir rendu notre séjour si agréable. Charmante maison, pleine d'espace et d'activités pour satisfaire les voyageurs de tous âges. Nous avons également adoré les pistes cyclables, la visite de Saint-Sébastien et Biarritz, ainsi que la plage. Agréable de montrer au bébé les chevaux, et de cueillir des framboises et des figues fraîches dans les arbres et les buissons. Excellent espace pour le chien aussi. Michel le chef a été agréable et arrangeant, nous permettant de découvrir la cuisine locale. Mais nous reviendrons !
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette magnifique maison où tout a été pensé pour que petits et grands puissent profiter au maximum des vacances. Nous étions un groupe de 3 couples et 4 enfants et chacun a pu avoir suffisamment d'espace et d'intimité. La maison est très belle, bien décorée et agréable à vivre. Le jardin est très beau et l'espace piscine est parfait! La grange aménagée en salle de jeux a été également très appréciée (surtout comme le soleil n'était pas au rendez-vous). La cuisine est parfaitement équipée. Bref, nous recommandons chaudement cette location!
Nos vacances à La Charmante Distillerie ont été absolument superbes ! Mark et Gary ont été des hôtes exceptionnels et ont rendu notre expérience inoubliable, de la réservation jusqu'à notre départ ! Nous y retournerons sans hésiter, car c'est de loin le meilleur endroit où nous ayons séjourné. L'attention portée aux détails était exceptionnelle et nous avons été très à l'aise du début à la fin. Ils ont tout mis en œuvre pour que cette villa de vacances soit incroyable et ils ont fait tout leur possible pour nous satisfaire. C'est un 5 étoiles et plus à tous points de vue. Une magnifique villa dans un endroit calme avec tant de choses à découvrir. Merci Mark et Gary d'avoir fait de nos vacances en famille un moment inoubliable, et nous reviendrons bientôt pour en profiter à nouveau !
