Amazing château! Stunning weather! Five families came together from different places: Canada, Wales, England. We enjoyed ourselves and each other's company. We hope to come again to this lovely place with friendly spirits.
An amazing house with the best swimming pool we have ever seen! 16 of us stayed in this lovely house for 2 weeks as we took the little gîte as well. We had a fabulous holiday. You have to drive up through fields of sunflowers to get there – a great welcome. We had loads of children but the pool is so big they spent the whole time doing acrobatics in it – and there was still room for us adults, when we managed to peel ourselves off the sun loungers. Evenings were spent playing tennis on the courts in the house grounds, BBQs, or local restaurants.
Quick note to express our gratitude for the hire of your property. What a wonderful time somebody had restoring this place to what it is today. We had a superb family celebration for our ruby wedding and explored the Drome and Ardeche localities. Many thanks.

First things first - Karen, Russell and the girls (Mack and Mabel) are wonderful hosts. Warm, friendly, thoughtful and yet discreet. They love what they're doing and it shows as nothing is too much trouble. Their enthusiasm for their ventures (current and future) is infectious. Secondly is the 'Loft du Vigneron' - a fabulous property offering everything - and more - that you could hope for. Karen and Russell's sense of style has been imprinted on it and their attention to detail has left nothing wanting. Every comfort has been considered from the fabulous welcoming pack to 'The White Company' range of toiletries. The terrace was our favourite place with the sun streaming through the roof and the warm breeze cooling us down. Rieux-Minervois is a typical French village and perfectly situated to explore the entire Minervois region from Carcassonne in the West, East to the Mediterranean, and all the lovely historical villages North and South. In conclusion, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful property with the perfect hosts - highly recommended without hesitation. Our very best wishes for every success in you new venture. We had a fantastic week here, the weather was very good - sunny every day, except one. Got up to 28 degrees. Used the pool everyday, bets way to keep cool. We thought the house was very good, had everything you would want. The welcome hamper we had was very good. The best we have ever had, we must have stayed at 20 French houses over the past 10 years but never seen so much food provided. We didn't do out too much as we had been to area before preferred to be by the pool anyway. We did however go to the Hennessey distillery at Cognac, enjoyed the tour 18 euros each. Thought Cognac was a lovely town. So all in all, had a good vacation, would come back again. Thank soo Phil and Ann for making the house so clear and tidy, we didn't have any problems with anything in the house, which must be a first! All the best.

Nous avons passé deux semaines merveilleuses à Sarlat. Sarlat et ses environs ont beaucoup à offrir. Nous avons apprécié les marchés locaux, une excursion au Château des Milandes et bien sûr une descente en canoë sur la Dordogne. L'emplacement de la maison est incroyable, à seulement quelques minutes à pied du centre. La première semaine de notre séjour, la température était de 30 degrés et la piscine était un véritable régal - un véritable point fort pour nous, nous avons passé de nombreuses heures à nous détendre et à profiter du beau temps. La maison elle-même était super et a répondu à tous nos besoins pour deux semaines de vacances. Merci Jackie pour toute ton aide. Nous reviendrons bientôt.
What can I say but awesome. We all arrived at the same time to drive up the long drive to the picturesque château. Obviously we had seen pictures but they did not do it justice. We were met with a glass of bubbly and were shown around the property. It was like being shown around a personal home rather than a holiday rental property. There was everything you could want for a relaxing holiday for our two families, including a tennis court, swimming pool, snooker / pool table, croquet set and the all important ice machine as we were in the middle of a heat wave. All the rooms were luxurious with all but one bedroom (which had it's own bathroom) having ensuite bathrooms and the two main bedrooms having dressing rooms as well. The grounds were spectacular and there was even gorgeous little chapel. The best endorsement I can give is that we were all discussing how we could come back next year. Nous avons vraiment adoré notre séjour au Château Des Grillauds. C'était le summum de nos vacances en Europe cet été. Cette propriété est pleine de caractère, bien équipée et confortable avec beaucoup de chambres et d'espace. Nous avons adoré l'emplacement avec de très bons marchés locaux presque tous les jours et il se trouve à moins d'une heure de Bordeaux et de vignobles remarquables tout en étant très central dans la Dordogne. Nos enfants ont adoré la piscine chauffée et maintenue à 30°C. Nous recommandons cette propriété à tout le monde. Merci beaucoup.

Merci, nous nous sommes bien amusés pendant ces deux semaines au Pigat. Nous avons fait du vélo, couru et exploré la campagne rurale. Nous avons passé des soirées d'été à jouer aux cartes et aux dominos avec nos enfants. Nous avons adoré la piscine et le calme ainsi que de pouvoir manger à l'extérieur. Nous y avons véritablement passé deux semaines mémorables et nous sommes tristes de partir pour retourner au travail et à l'école. Grande maison, emplacement parfait, privé et paisible. Des souvenirs impérissables... On revient...
Our fourth year running and just as lovely as ever. A delightful house - elegantly yet comfortably furnished - tucked away in complete privacy and quiet, yet close to the lovely hilltop village of Gordes. A blissful spot in which to do nothing or lots - just as you will. We can't wait to go back.
Ça s'est très bien passé pour notre famille de 7 adultes, une petite fille et 2 petits chiens. De l'espace, c'est parfait avec beaucoup de coins pour se reposer, manger ou juste avoir un peu de paix. La clim était excellente avec la chaleur de cette semaine. La télévision énorme pour les finales de Wimbledon et les propriétaires bien accueillants. Merci beaucoup pour tout. À la prochaine!!!

We have had a great week here visiting our daughter Eliza who is studying French in Montpellier. Lisa et al very helpful and the home has provided us with much fun and relaxation. Also great for walking into town and going on excursions. Thank you!
We had such a grat time here! We are only sorry that our stay wasn't longer. The children loved the house and especially the swimming pool. Hopefully we will be back!
The space, the history and beauty of the surroundings. The swimming pool. The range of children's toys. The bedroom arrangements in the house that was perfect for 4 families. Maps and leaflets of things to do in the locality. The fans in rooms upstairs etc etc. In all we are sad to leave!
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. It provided everything we needed for our family reunion of 3 families – fabulous pool, large garden, lots of outside sitting/dining areas, beautiful and spacious interiors, a large and very well equipped kitchen (we loved the ice dispenser!). The children (1-5) loved the nearby lake where they paddled, splashed about and built sandcastles. Plenty of shade and grass and a good restaurant. We had amazingly good weather so were mostly outdoors but if one hit a rainy day, there is plenty of entertainment (great dvd collection) inside. All in all, a very happy choice, enjoyed by young and old! The Bruns family from Germany, Scotland and Ireland

What a fantastic week we had at Mas de Clouze. The house is beautiful and we loved the attention to detail like the towels and soap in all the showers. The woods proved to be brilliant for treasure hunts for the kids and of course we spent many hours at the lovely pool! All in all a great week! We’d love to come back.
Nous avons passé un excellent moment dans cette belle villa. Prendre un bain de soleil au bord de la piscine, nager et faire de l'escalade (ce ne sont seulement quelques-unes des choses que nous avons faites). Nous espérons revenir l'année prochaine.
We've had a lovely week here at the villa. It's been especially good for our youngest family member who has really enjoyed playing here. We loved the heated pool, especially when the clouds come over the fun can continue. Absolutely recommend a trip to see Carcassonne for those wanting a day trip, but remember to check what is open. Thanks so much, we hope to come back soon.
Mas du Château was simply perfect. It was spotless, comfortable, peaceful and he was a wonderful host; nothing was too much trouble. We couldn’t have asked for anything more and didn’t want to leave.

C'est notre deuxième séjour à la Maison Allemans, nous adorons la maison. Quand nous sommes arrivés cette année, Dermod a préparé une salade de viande froide avec du vin et de la bière, le paradis après un long trajet en voiture depuis le Royaume-Uni. Espérons que dans quelques années, nous pourrons revenir avec tous nos nouveaux petits-enfants.
