Beautiful cottage. After staying in Maison Meunier last year with the whole family, my wife and I returned this year. It is well equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, cooker and BBQ on the terrace. The pool is right beside the cottage and is immaculate. The owners are marvellous hosts and we are looking forward to returning again, next year, for another relaxing holiday.

Wow! what a start to the summer. Very hot, lovely weather, plums aplenty (from garden trees), walks to Eglise de Senezelles, daily visits to the bakery in Cancon, fab Monday markets, much swimming, pool/snooker, BBQs, card games, a very dramatic thunder storm and 18 wonderful books (from the Bosc Grand shelves) read collectively. The stuff of family holiday dreams. We hope to be back!
Deux superbes semaines ici dans votre magnifique maison. Très spacieuse et bien aménagée, de bon goût et confortable. Les garçons ont bien profité de la piscine. Nous avons apprécié la tranquillité et l'intimité. Nous avons aimé explorer la région et goûter à la cuisine locale. Les recommandations de restaurants incluent l'Hôtel-Restaurant du Château à Campagne, l'Auberge Médiévale Audrix et pour une cuisine de ferme rustique mais délicieuse - l'Auberge Rebeyrotte près de Pressigirac Vicq. Merci beaucoup. P.S : la livraison de la boulangerie pour le petit-déjeuner est un régal !
Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour à la Maison Hirondelles. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans votre belle villa. L'hébergement était excellent, bien équipé et très confortable. We had a really nice holiday at Château Entre-Deux-Mers... it's an amazing place and everything was just fine.
Excellent, everything exceeded our expectations. Lovely space. It was so lovely to arrive to hot food after a long journey and to not have to worry about shopping for the first few days. We had a fantastic holiday and will book again for next year. Thank you both so much.
Nous avons passé une semaine fantastique en famille au Petit Pigeonnier - une vue incroyable sur le calme et le repos des vignes, un vaste terrain, avec un bon équilibre entre ombre et soleil, une piscine fabuleuse, un intérieur immense et frais avec un aménagement très bien pensé (pas seulement l'IKEA habituel) - tous charmants à tous points de vue. Debbie était une hôte parfaite : super discrète, mais là pour des conseils et des dépannages en cas de besoin, et surtout, si attentionnée pour que nous puissions profiter au maximum de notre séjour en profitant des sites, des marchés et des produits locaux (y compris les noix et les confitures de la propriété), qui regorgent localement ici ! Nous savions que nous allions passer de bonnes vacances dès que nous avons vu qu'une bouteille de vin nous attendait, fruit des vignes juste devant notre fenêtre, et nous avions raison.
Sadly leaving. What a truly delightful house this is and how warm and welcoming it has been for our family of 9 travelling from Australia to celebrate two 50th birthdays. Despite the heat we have been comfortable and happy, exploring many towns and locations and enjoying the pool and the house. The kitchen was perfect, all the little extra's very much appriciated and the beds so comfortable. We played football, rode the bikes and went for local walks. Simply one of the best houses we've ever stayed in and one of the best holidays we've ever enjoyed.
We stayed in Maison Rohmer for 11 nights in June and thoroughly enjoyed the house and peaceful setting at the end of a private track. Everything was very clean and well furnished with excellent bathrooms and plenty of hot water. We swam in the pool every day bar one, when there was a big thunderstorm that drenched the area and had a strange effect of gradually turning the colour of the water in the pool to green, but was perfectly ok to swim in. The owner was on hand to answer any queries we had despite being in the USA at the time of our stay, something that we both appreciated greatly. Gordes and the area around was lovely with so many beautiful towns and villages to explore on foot or bike or car, a great area of France to return to again.

La villa correspondait à la description et était parfaite à tous les points de vue. Nous avons choisi la villa car tout était de plain-pied et la piscine et la terrasse étaient situées très près de la maison principale. Nous avons passé un moment des plus merveilleux et la disposition des chambres signifiait que nous avions beaucoup d'espace pour nous détendre. L'espace barbecue a bien été utilisé. La climatisation était la bienvenue lors des chaudes nuits méditerranéennes. C'était aussi la première villa dans laquelle nous avons séjourné où nous avons pu marcher jusqu'à la ville locale pour acheter nos croissants quotidiens. Le service que nous avons eu de Pure France et Philippe était exceptionnel. Merci.
Heaven on Earth. Our two week stay at Villa Chiavari was an absolute dream; I could not be more enthusiastic in recommending this home to anyone looking to spend their vacation in a veritable paradise. We were 2 couples, 3 children and 1 grandparent and booked an 'off-season' holiday at the end of September. Not long after our arrival we realised a major perk of booking 'off season': uncrowded beaches with absolutely perfect summer weather! Villa Chiavari's spectacular ocean-view infinity pool is surrounded by lounge-chairs and palm trees and bordered by a lush garden... good luck ever tearing yourself away. I should also mention that this lavish pool area is accessible by both the main living quarters of the house and by the bedrooms, which we found extremely convenient for our kids and elderly grandparent. Pool amenities also include a shaded lounge and dining area (also with an ocean view), a barbecue, outdoor refrigerator, pool toys and floats and easy access to a downstairs kitchenette. The grounds at the front of the house include a lush garden, an elevated hammock-hideaway in a quiet shady corner and an outdoor eating area punctuated by a lovely little fountain. The bedrooms are attractively furnished, comfortable and very clean. Five out of six have full attached bathrooms. All bedrooms are equipped with Wi-Fi and air conditioning, as is the main area of the house. The upstairs living/dining/den areas are elegant yet cozy at the same time and the entire back 'wall' of this floor is composed of large sliding glass doors that open onto a beautiful terrace running the length of the entire villa. There is a dining area and lounge on this upper terrace as well! The kitchen has every piece of equipment you can think of and if you're looking for the ultimate in extravagance, the owners will set you up with your own chef. They arranged for us a very personable French cook who prepared truly delicious, fresh meals that even our children were not afraid to eat. Sublime. Speaking of kids, families will find this home very child-safe. There are gates on stairways, the entire property is fenced-in (artfully disguised by beautiful flowers and foliage) and there is a smattering of children's furniture (highchair etc) available for use. We were also really comforted by the fact that the owners of this home are easily reached and are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be booking again and I encourage anyone interested in perfection to do the same!
We stayed with a group of friends for the week before our wedding and we could not have asked for a more perfect place to have some quality time and enjoy the great pool! We were also treated to a bottle of champagne for our wedding. What a great place! Would highly recommend.
Thank you for being wonderful hosts. It has been a joy to stay at the Loft and to explore a little of the region. Excited to be thinking of returning in the future when the weather is cooler. Our arrival was so welcoming and you provide such a generous hamper for our first night - thank you We particularly enjoyed exploring Rieux with its château, church and watching the wine harvest. Merci pour le pack de bienvenue avec vin, eau et café. La maison est idéalement située pour explorer la vieille ville de Pézenas. Allez voir le marché du samedi, c'est incroyable. La maison et la piscine sont super, confortables et bien aménagées.
We have used Pure France and other similar companies over many years, but I do not believe I have heard how highly rated they thought this particular property was - ever! As a result of the standard of accommodation, gardens and the local surrounding area, we are already trying to see if there is anything which can beat it for next year, especially for standards of finish and value for money (if you can recommend anything similar, please let us know)? I work in the construction industry as a design manager and can see someone has spent a lot of time and effort in getting the best out of this large old building, bringing it up to a high standard with well considered interior design - obviously the owner has considered in a lot of detail. Please pass on our thanks for being able to use the property.
This was our first holiday with our girls aged 2 years and 9 months. They had an amazing time! What a welcoming, beautiful place this is. Thank you so much for opening your home for us to share. It was the perfect place for our extended family to be together. Thank you for this fabulous experience.
Deux semaines agréables et reposantes dans la plus belle des villas ! Une villa spacieuse et incroyable qui a été parfaite pour notre famille avec beaucoup d'espace pour nous tous. Nous avons absolument adoré la piscine et y étions tous les jours ! Nos vacances ont été rendues encore plus spéciales par notre hôte attentionné, Philippe. Philippe nous a très bien accueillis avec de délicieux vins et du pain, nous a gâtés avec des viennoiseries pour le petit-déjeuner. L'emplacement était génial et nous avons apprécié de parler à la boulangère tous les jours et de profiter des sorties dans les villages voisins. Mais la plupart du temps, nous profitions simplement de la villa ! En tant qu'amoureux des chats, nous adorions les chats que nous voyions dans les jardins et leur fournissions de l'eau pendant les journées chaudes et des friandises ! Merci beaucoup pour ces vacances très agréables !
Cannot say enough about how relaxing and wonderful was our holiday at Mas Saint Cernin: from the quality of the accommodation, to the fantastic location, the brilliant pool and the warm and helpful welcome from John and Lesley. Three generations spanning the under ten to the over seventies loved every moment of our stay. We all enjoyed the pool and the grounds with all the interesting things to see and do on the doorstep. We aim to return but think we might want to book early to do so!
Idyllique et détente absolue C'était notre premier séjour en Charente et nous avons adoré La Charmante Distillerie. Dès notre arrivée, nous nous sommes sentis détendus. La piscine et les terrasses offraient une vue imprenable et un calme absolu. L'intérieur était joliment meublé et nous avons apprécié le clin d'œil à l'ancienne distillerie et à son histoire. De nombreuses activités étaient proposées en famille et nous avons adoré observer les étoiles grâce au télescope mis à disposition. Mark a impeccablement entretenu le terrain et la piscine. Nous avons apprécié l'accès au jardin d'herbes aromatiques et aux arbres fruitiers. Je tiens également à souligner l'excellente connexion internet, qui a permis à nos adolescents de se détendre dans le coin détente de la mezzanine, tandis que les plus jeunes ont adoré jouer dans le bac à sable et sur le portique. Je recommande vivement cet endroit !
Nous avons passé une semaine fantastique à Sarlat et ses environs. Le lieu idéal pour des vacances en famille. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les jardins d'Eyrignac et de Marqueyssac, mais il y avait tellement de choses à faire et à voir ici. Le Bistro De L'Octroi, en face, est fantastique. Le chalet est idéalement situé et à proximité de toutes les commodités et activités. Nous avons adoré l’accueil chaleureux de Patrice les bons conseils sur la Vallée et les lieux à ne pas manquer. Le chalet est un havre de paix, parfaitement équipé et intelligemment agencé pour passer d’agréables moments en famille. Des petits aux grands, nous nous sommes sincèrement régalés et chacun y a trouvé son bonheur. Nous avons également apprécié l’attention qui nous était réservée à notre arrivée et avec laquelle nous nous sommes régalés. Nous reviendrons !
Beautiful house, view and garden with high trees and flowers in a quiet area. Nice shaded lounge area with comfortable sofas for 8 people. We all loved this house even if it’s far away from bakery and shopping.
I have stayed here with friends on several occasions and the tranquility and serenity is something to treasure. Maison Bourriette and gardens are furnished to the highest standard with a special courtyard enclosed in the original barn walls. The pool and surroundings cater for the most ardent sunbather or swimmer. The welcome you receive is personal and nothing is too much trouble, thus ensuring your best possible stay. From the house you are near to many interesting attractions dotted around the rolling countryside but if you don't want to leave the sanctuary of the house, then there are numerous delightful walks on the doorstep taking you through woods to small settlements or even into Montaigu for quality food and drink. I cannot wait to go back again!
C'était notre sixième visite à la Maison Baleyssagues - c'est vraiment un endroit parfait où séjourner ! La villa était aussi confortable et élégante que les précédentes vacances, avec de nombreuses nouvelles touches élégantes que nous avons appréciées. Il y a tout ce dont une famille peut avoir besoin, des jeux et des livres à une magnifique nouvelle cuisine en passant par un terrain fantastique pour se promener et où jouer. La piscine en particulier a été bien utilisée car il faisait très chaud lors de notre visite. C'est un bel endroit pour nager et se détendre. La campagne environnante est magnifique et offre de nombreux endroits amusants et intéressants à visiter avec d'excellents restaurants à proximité. Nos préférés sont La Terrasse à Duras et le Restaurant Italien Des Arcades à Eymet. Le marché nocturne de Duras vaut également le détour pour déguster des vins et des plats locaux. C'était notre sixième visite à la villa mais ce ne sera pas la dernière !
