Anthony and Rachel make wonderful hosts being friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and also very generous with their excellent "welcome pack". We loved the whole region: Carcassonne and Mirepoix are a "must" (the owners of the "Mad Hatter" cafe in Mirepoix are Brits) and we enjoyed the markets at Mirepoix and Revel. Also enjoyed the drive south from Revel through the pretty villages/small town of Saissac. Lagrasse is a pleasant village but a tad overrated in our view. On the other hand, we loved Minerve and the Minervois region including the small town of Caunes-Minervois. Fontfroide is worth a visit and Montesegur is a must if in that area. We enjoyed Peyriac de-Mer and Gruissan on the coast but would avoid Narbonne Plage on another occasion - great beach though! Toulouse is a pleasant city and worth a visit if cities are "your thing" and the SNCF smartphone app worked brilliantly. For a special lunch, Cote Resto is a must. Excellent food and in a wonderful setting.
Wonderful holiday in this beautiful and stylish home! The house has been refurbished to a very high specification and the bedrooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are luxuriously contemporary. The kitchen is impressively well equipped. There is so much to do in the area which is steeped in history and blessed with natural beauty. The Roman ruins at Vaison are a must- see. We were amazed to find the largest archaeological site in France just down the road and the medieval town, on the other side of the river, with its winding streets, is charming. We found it hard to tear ourselves away from the stunning views and the peace and tranquility of the gardens and pool but outings to the hilltop villages of Seguret and Venasque and a wine tasting in Gigondas or Châteauneuf du Pape are experiences not to be missed!
Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour en famille dans le logement de Clare. Nous étions assez nombreux et la maison s’y prêtait parfaitement : très grande pièce de vie, cuisine très confortable et équipée, matériaux de qualité, confort d’avoir une salle de bains et un wc par chambre, chambres qui sont spacieuses et confortables (lit chauffant !). Clare a même mis à notre disposition de quoi accueillir nos deux petites de 8 mois et 3 ans de façon très confortable. Nous n’avons pas pu profiter du Jacuzzi, mais le petit feu de cheminée était très appréciable et nous avons sollicité Andy, le mari de Clare, Pour nous cuisiner un repas d’anniversaire le soir de notre arrivée, durant lequel on s’est régalés. Clare et Andy se sont montrés à la fois discrets, et présents immédiatement lorsque nous en avions besoin. Je recommande ce logement à 100% !

Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre semaine ici, à visiter les villages locaux sur nos vélos - et nous savons que nous reviendrons bientôt. Merci encore pour ces merveilleuses vacances !
Beautiful location really nice house, swimming pool is delightful. Large safe garden for children. Remote but easy to find and within easy driving distance of all the facilities you need for a great holiday.

Nous avons passé de fantastiques bacances, la propriété est tout simplement belle. Merci.
La maison a très bien fonctionné pour notre famille de 3 générations de 5 adultes et 2 enfants. Les chambres sont confortables, la cuisine est bien équipée et le salon est spacieux, avec une bonne télévision et un système audio. Toutes les fenêtres sont protégées par des moustiquaires pour empêcher les moustiques d'entrer. À l'arrière de la maison se trouve une pièce utile avec une machine à laver et un grand étendoir à linge extérieur. La piscine était excellente. Les adultes l'utilisaient pour se rafraîchir, les enfants jouaient en toute sécurité et prenaient confiance dans l'eau (avec la garantie d'une alarme de piscine). Nous avions un enfant de 2 ans avec nous, qui pagayait principalement dans la partie peu profonde. Il y avait toujours de l'ombre quelque part dans le jardin, soit grâce aux arbres, soit grâce à la canopée de la terrasse ensoleillée. Le jardin est totalement privé, avec une colline boisée à gauche. Nous mangions dehors le soir, en utilisant un spray et des bougies pour repousser les moustiques qui semblaient attirés par les pâles Anglais. La villa est très bien située pour visiter Cassis, Marseille et Aix. Nous avons également vu Arles, Avignon, Les Baux et Nice. Le lac de Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon offre l'occasion de nager et certains d'entre nous ont visité la cascade de Sillans-la-Cascade près du magnifique village de Cotignac. Nous pouvons recommander une excursion en bateau pour voir les Calanques depuis le port de Cassis, et La Ciotat est très agréable. Nous avons principalement utilisé un supermarché à 10 minutes en voiture à Gréasque, qui dispose également d'une bonne boulangerie. Nous avons trouvé d'excellents cafés à Fuveau (Caribou) et à La Bouillabaisse (The Coffee House). Aubagne possède un grand complexe « hors de la ville » avec un énorme Auchan et une gamme de chaînes de restaurants. Nous avons trouvé un très bon camion à pizza à Greasque (bien qu'ils se déplacent donc Google Maps n'était pas fiable). Nous avons été accueillis à notre arrivée par Juliette, qui est également revenue nettoyer la piscine à mi-séjour et récupérer les clés à notre départ. Elle a été très serviable et nous a recommandé des endroits à visiter.
Wonderful holidays in Nissan-Lez-Enserune. We had wonderful holidays there. Location was very convenient, inside the village where shops / market were at walking distance. Our car remained within the property, so no pb to park. We took it only to visit the nearby cities of Narbonne, Gruissan and Béziers (20/30 min ride). The house was clean, with recent works being done and well equiped (nice kitchen and bathrooms). Pool was large, clean and surrounded by beautiful oleanders. We'll consider coming again for sure. Thanks to everyone.
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour de 2 semaines au Pigat. Il y a beaucoup de place et la maison est très bien équipée avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Nous recommandons la livraison quotidienne de pain frais pour tous ceux qui séjournent ici. Délicieux. Nous avons passé des journées de farniente au bord de la piscine. Nous nous sommes beaucoup d'amusés. Les soirées se passent à dîner en terrasse. Nous tenons à remercier tout le monde pour un accueil très sympathique à notre arrivée.
A totally unique experience staying in a tower with a wonderful panorama view of the sea. You can spend hours sitting on the balcony, watching the tide go in and out and the ships coming into La Havre in the distance. At night when the tide is in, the sound of the sea is fantastic and almost feels like you are sleeping on the beach. The tower itself is nicely decorated, clean and kitted out with everything you might need for a holiday. The furniture and fittings are intelligently laid out to maximise the space at all levels so it doesn't feel cramped. Villerville itself was a charming, quiet seaside town with a few bistros and shops, perfect for escaping the usual hoards of tourists elsewhere on the Normandy coast. Definitely worthy of 4.5 star rating and only reasons for not getting 5 stars are lack of free parking on site (although plenty on the side streets behind the tower) and some evenings when the tide is out you get the occasional teenagers listening to music on the sea front until late at night.

Villa everything and more! fantastic villa, pool and table tennis great fun! Pézenas lovely 15 - 20 minutes easy walk! Lots of great restaurants. Beach between Sète and Agde very good and not too many people.
We have had a fabulous week. Weather brilliant. Amazing house, pool, views, olive grove. Perfect. Thank you very much for our wonderful stay in your beautiful villa. We particularly the swimming pool to cool down. We really enjoyed the surrounding scenery in which we star gazed in every evening. We really liked the films and games upstairs in the evening. We liked the trampoline and table tennis were awesome. Thank you.

It was amazing. The house was beautiful and the pool was really nice. All of my family loved it and we all want to come back next summer.
Nous y avons récemment passé un séjour très mémorable et agréable. Cette propriété luxueuse est confortable, bien présentée et très propre. Les vues depuis la propriété sont exceptionnelles et la piscine à l'horizon est le rêve de tout le monde. L'emplacement offre un accès aisé à Saint Paul de Vence et à la région environnante et constitue donc une base idéale pour découvrir les sites locaux.
Merci d'avoir fait du Domaine de Nérige un si bel endroit où séjourner, nous y avons passé un moment fabuleux. Le temps, la nourriture et les divertissements, tout était fantastique. Nous n'avons jamais voulu sortir et n'avons fait que remplir le frigo. J'espère revenir avec plus d'amis et de famille si je peux et partager l'expérience avec eux. En attendant la prochaine fois.
Stayed at the property for two weeks at the end of July. The property has been beautifully renovated and most things are on hand at the villa. The house has everything that’s needed for family and friends to enjoy from a great kitchen to a nice garden and patio and good sized pool. All in all this is a beautiful house in a lovely setting and I would certainly return.
A lovely family house beautifuly equipped Immaculate property, all the bedrooms are great with the addition of air con in the master bedroom, great kitchen, bathrooms and perfect showers! British TV to keep the kids entertained. The pool area is sheltered and a real sun trap! Our favourite time was BBQ in the evening on the first floor terrace with beautiful views . Very convenient for a stroll onto the pretty village with bars restaurants and lovely markets. Superb unspoilt beaches only 20 minutes away. Highly recommend going into Narbonne only half an hour away, you must visit the indoor food market.
Tout est fantastique, la maison est encore mieux que sur les photos et on remarque l'affection qu'on lui a donnée dans les moindres détails. Il a tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin et les appareils sont de grandes marques. Nous y sommes allés avec beaucoup d'enfants et ils ont passé un bon moment. Un grand merci aux hôtes et nous espérons revenir bientôt.
We couldn't have had a more wonderful location to endure the heatwave! Thanks for a wonderful, relaxing holiday. Favourite Moment: The pool (of course)! Morning coffee in Verteillac and the live music last night. Places We Recommend: Brantôme, the church in Aubeterre.
Peaceful location with beautiful views. The building has been really thoughtfully renovated. The open nature of the outdoor area meant you could always choose to be in/out of sun, always a breeze. A fab place for a family holiday. Great for cycling, locals super friendly. Delicious food and wine. We will definitely be back! We recommend the closest town, Monségur, the most for food, drinks and ambience. The local wine co-operative were also very friendly with great recommendations. We also recommend La Salle a Manger for food or just for a drink.
The château is absolutely beautiful, typically French and very tastefully decorated. It is also very comfortable and had everything our family needed. We enjoyed the pool and relaxed in the sun on the poolside seating. For cooler seating we used the veranda of the sheltered Summer house and a perfect eating and barbecue area next to the Atelier, which had a fridge for cold drinks. The Atelier also had every game imaginable and a TV area with a variety of DVDs and comfy seating. There is an electronic game/TV room in the chateau too, with seating for the whole family to have a 'cinema' evening. Outside, we enjoyed walking by the river, tennis, boules and table tennis and the children made full use of the slide and swing. The garden is beautifully maintained. We enjoyed cooking in the very well equipped kitchen and had leisurely meals together around large family tables, in beautiful surroundings. The guardians were friendly, very helpful and on-hand if we needed anything. All in all, we had a wonderful experience which we would love to repeat in the future and we thoroughly recommend Château Grandchamp de Chablis for a family holiday.
Nous sommes une famille de 5 avec 3 ados. Dès le premier jour, nous nous sommes installés et avons eu beaucoup de mal à repartir au bout de deux semaines. Les propriétaires ont non seulement créé une maison merveilleusement rustique, mais elle a été très bien pensée, avec beaucoup d'espace tant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur pour une famille de 5 personnes. S'y ajoute l'un des meilleurs cadres que vous puissiez imaginer - des collines doucement vallonnées en retrait d'une route de campagne tranquille. Étant une famille sportive, nous avons utilisé la belle piscine tous les jours. La plupart des piscines privées en France font moins de 10 mètres, nous avons donc vraiment apprécié les 13 mètres complets pour nager quelques longueurs. Pour notre plus grand plaisir, il y avait un terrain de badminton extérieur et un terrain de pétanque. La grande pelouse plane au sommet de la propriété était l'endroit idéal pour taper des balles. Les environs sont un délice à découvrir. Des grottes calcaires aux églises souterraines creusées à flanc de colline, aux charmantes villes de marché, aux «plages» fluviales pour se rafraîchir, la région ne semble jamais surpeuplée. Tout cela, associé à la nourriture et aux boissons exquises de la région (à des prix exceptionnels), en fait une région à absolument découvrir pour le touriste averti. Nous ne saurions trop recommander de séjourner ici. Les propriétaires, qui habitent à côté, sont des hôtes parfaits. Ils n'ont jamais empiété une seule fois sur notre intimité, mais étaient plus qu'heureux de discuter et de fournir des conseils, lorsque sollicités. Nous avons hâte de revenir!
