Fabulous Villa and location We've been coming to the south of France for year and specifically to this area and to Seillans for the last 5 years... and this villa is as good as we have ever stayed. The villa is impeccably kept, extremely comfortable and has the most magnificent views. Everything in the villa is as advertised and works well. The restaurants of Seillans are a short walk away. Although the town itself unfortunately has no boulangerie or patisserie, Fayence is only a 5 minute drive away and has a great one of those, plus a boucherie / charcuterie around the corner, both of which are close to the big Super U supermarket. The terrace and pool are East-facing. We were worried that in the photos it looked like there was little shade provided but with the big awnings for the terrace and a few parasols for the pool, finding shade from the morning sun was not a problem. We love this area for the beautiful mountain villages (seillans, Callian, Tourrettes etc) but the ease of getting around in the largely flat area south of those villages so you can get to Cannes, Grasse and the beaches. Excellent séjour! Notre hôte Nathalie a été tres réactive par message et arrangeante. La maison était propre et correspondait parfaitement à la description. Nous y serions bien resté plus longtemps!

Wow, wow and wow! The views are wonderful with the gorgeous sunsets. The whole family have loved all the facilities, particularly swimming in the multi-coloured lights at night.

Gordon family and Mullaly family Thank you for letting us stay in this lovely farmhouse. The best days of the holiday were spent here in the farmhouse by the pool. The teens loved the gym and the tennis court. Such a lovely location. Much local excitement when the Tour de France (femmes) passed the driveway. What a fabulous day! Enjoyed the wine tour and our 2 meals out in Richelieu. The view from the terrace is exceptional and such a good place to drink coffee and welcome the morning or indeed the evening. Great family team here to spend much for a great visit.
Very high end, luxurious with every amenity, wonderful location in the vines and countryside and yet near everything.
Our second time at this beautiful house. From the moment of arrived we were relaxed. The place is so tastefully furnished, the pool so welcoming. But most of all the hosts themselves make you feel very incredibly welcome and couldn't be more helpful. We had amazing weather for the week so we didn't venture far from the pool at all. Thank you Hugh and Ian for sharing your beautiful home and little piece of paradise with us, we will be back!

We had a wonderful stay in the Farmhouse. The weather wasn’t always as perfect as we hoped it would be but the gym, the tennis court and even the excellent piano kept the family fully occupied on the days we could not use the pool. The boys loved exploring the woods above the farmhouse and the parents enjoyed the wines. We were very happy to get a wine tasting on our first day (and we soon realised we needed an extra pitcher so we could water down the delicious grape juice to avoid the kids bouncing off the walls). Very enjoyable facilities and extremely gracious hosts! Thank you. P.S. We can recommend the tree-climbing park at Thoiré.
La maison était impeccable et la piscine l'une des plus belles que nous ayons eues. Thierry ne pourrait pas être plus serviable, nous offrant une paix et une intimité totales à moins d'avoir besoin de son aide. Nous recommandons vivement de séjourner ici!

Juste un petit mot pour vous remercier de nous avoir permis de séjourner à la propriété pendant 2 semaines. La maison est très bien équipée avec de nombreuses informations à portée de main. Durant cette semaine nous avons visité Gordes et Châteauneuf-du-Pape. La région est magnifique et nous reviendrons.
Wow - what a fantastic place to stay! Hugh and Ian are wonderful hosts and have made sure everything we need us available to make our holiday such a relaxing one. The grounds are beautiful and the pool has been glorious to cool down in the summer heat. It was great to meet Oscar your stunning dog too. Nous étions de passage pour un week-end entre amis. Christophe et sa femme nous un réservé un accueil très chaleureux ils sont très à l’écoute et attentionnés. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans leurs maison qui est juste magnifique
La propriété est un endroit idéal pour passer un séjour relaxant, très agréable dans le Périgord. Dommage que la deuxième semaine n'était pas disponible.
We had a great stay at Maison du Gua over Easter. The weather was a real surprise (I had packed wellies and jumpers) but it was lovely. Sunny and warm enough for us all to enjoy the great swimming pool and lunch outside everyday. There were three generations staying (10 people) and we all had plenty of room to relax. Our three children (1, 3, 6) enjoyed the huge selection of quality toys, both indoors and provided for the garden. The baby loved the baby swing and his mum enjoyed the huge list of baby extras Mel provided, that made packing so much easier. Mel and Jim are very helpful and quick to respond with anything you need. Our thanks to to the lovely Elodie for making our stay so pleasant.

Magnifique maison, vue imprenable sur le clocher du village, piscine rafraîchissante à souhait. Chambres propices aux longues nuits et siestes réparatrices! Fabuleux.
Nous avons passé un superbe séjour au château la semaine dernière! Le château était incroyable. Olha nous a fait visiter le château, elle était super serviable et nous a laissé notre espace. Les installations étaient toutes fantastiques… la piscine était magnifique, bien sûr, et la salle de sport était équipée pour que chacun puisse s'y entraîner. Le court de tennis était utilisé tous les jours et ceux qui l'ont utilisé (pas moi, je buvais du rosé au bord de la piscine et je lançais une balle que de temps en temps !) l'ont adoré. Les chambres étaient vraiment spacieuses et bien équipées, ce qui ne se voit peut-être pas sur les photos, mais ce n'est pas vraiment un reproche, juste une agréable surprise. Une autre bonne surprise a été la qualité de l'équipement de la cuisine. Il y a littéralement TOUT. Il y a une supérette et une boulangerie à moins d'un kilomètre, mais malheureusement, ce n'était pas vraiment accessible à pied pour les adolescents du groupe, car les véhicules rapides et il n'y a pas de sentiers. Mais ce n'était pas vraiment un point négatif quand on a tant d'autres choses pour les divertir. Nous étions quatre familles en vacances et nous sommes tous un peu grincheux chacun de notre côté, maintenant que nous sommes chacun de retour à la maison !
We spent a truly magical and wonderfully memorably week at Maison Tilleul last summer. It was everything we dreamed of. Stunning grounds, modern facilities, beautiful décor and every amenity you could need. The village is peaceful and picturesque. The countryside was quintessentially French. The historic and geographical wonders that provide endless options for afternoon drives or day trips, were all worth every minute driving through the vineyards and mountain passes that the region offers in abundance. There are wonderful restaurants and bars within walking distance and short drives. We had a spectacular evening watching the sun set with a cocktail at Côté Resto set amongst the vines of Domaine Gayda, followed by exquisite cuisine and a buoyant atmosphere. We sampled traditional Blanquette at the atmospheric Abbaye Saint-Hilaire. Explored the impressive Gorges de Saint-Georges and mountain villages. The Cathar castles and ancient city of Minerve, were stunning and like nothing I’ve seen before, both in scale and the history associated with them. I have visited the Languedoc for years, but Le Parc made it a year like no other. Thank you for the privilege – memories have been made and will be treasured.
We were not too familiar with the region, but since we live in a highly fast-paced city, we knew we wanted a tranquil and somewhat less-touristy vacation spot surrounded by nature. Through an amazing agency, we were able to lease the cottage for two weeks in late August and had an amazing time there. The property dates back to 1750 and is fully well-renovated - every detail has been taken into consideration so one is able to enjoy the experience of staying in an authentic French country house, but with modern amenities that enhance the original character of the property, rather than detract from it. The town and the people are very charming and there are restaurants, cafés, a grocery store, shops, butcher shops, etc. and an excellent choice of patisseries and boulangeries, which my husband happily frequented every morning in order to bring back fresh breakfast goodies! There is a weekly market in the town square, just a 5-minute drive from the house selling amazing produce and other artisanal delights! The town is within a comfortable drive from beautiful sites in neighboring Beynac, Sarlat and Bergerac, not counting other small picturesque places you find on the way. And if you haven't done much research, fret not because the owners of the home have compiled quite an impressive binder of information with all of the popular attractions and must-see places in the area. I do not over-exaggerate when I say the house is extremely well-equipped as if it were our own home! When we were not out sightseeing during the morning, we were downstairs preparing food in the kitchen, which may seem small in the photos, but it is spacious and the layout is wonderful - the oven and stove are ideal for seasoned cooks, there is a full-size dishwasher and tons of pots, pans, utensils, gadgets and appliances - all in superb condition, so we wanted for nothing. Overall, we had an excellent stay at Maison Bourg Cales, which I would highly recommend to anyone in search of an idyllic, quiet getaway in the beautiful French countryside.
Notre semaine au Mas Saint-Martial a été tout à fait conforme à nos attentes et à nos besoins. Nous repartons détendus et ressourcés. Merci d'avoir été des hôtes si chaleureux et attentionnés. Des vacances inoubliables. Nous avons apprécié la baignade et les bains de soleil à la piscine et dans le magnifique jardin.
