C'était notre première escapade depuis trois ans à Londres et nous n'avons pas été déçus. Les températures élevées ont quelque peu freiné nos ambitions, mais Camirout est un véritable paradis pour les vacances ! Ce fut un plaisir de vous rencontrer et nous vous félicitons d'avoir franchi le pas vers une nouvelle vie ici en France. C'est une histoire inspirante ! We are finally home and now reflecting on happy memories of our wonderful holiday in France and particularly our 10 nights spent here. Where do we begin to ever thank you for all that you did and for making our holiday so special. We felt like we had our own personal butler looking after us throughout our stay. Even prior to our arrival we welcomed the emails, the ease of booking and then promptly replying to any query that we had , as well as the phone call to offer help and support the week before we were scheduled to arrive. We really appreciated the welcome basket of goodies and all the other little things that you had thoughtfully put in the fridge, making our arrival into the gîte a very warm and welcome one. Your 'blood, sweat and tears' have truly paid off as we could see the attention to detail that has gone in to making this a luxury gîte for your guests. We noticed the quality of furnishings and fittings, bed linen, sumptuous soft towels and then separate towels laid out for us by the pool, all of which made for an exciting stay ahead! The beds were extremely comfortable and accompanied by the peace and tranquility at night meant we both woke each morning feeling fully refreshed! We particularly enjoyed our time spent around the swimming pool and also using the outdoor kitchen/BBQ. Everything was spotlessly clean and we know that you ensured the pool area was cleaned down for us every morning. We were blessed with good weather too. The views from the terrace were stunning and we never tired from sitting there overlooking the local Cuzorn area and the valley beyond. It was a pleasure getting to know you and hearing about your journey from Essex to Lot-et-Garonne. For us, as first guests it was a privilege staying at Lasserre and we will be talking about you and our holiday for years to come. I equally hope that for you and Kate your first guests did not let you down and we have left a wonderful impression on you too! We sincerely hope that you are rewarded for the fruits of your labour and whilst we would like you to have a busy season, just secretly we would like to keep this little bit of heaven purely for us!

Nous y avons passé un très agréable séjour. Une maison très bien aménagée avec une piscine fantastique.
Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette belle villa. Nous nous sommes tous sentis très détendus. La piscine était très accueillante, d'autant plus que c'était une semaine très chaude. Les vues sont spectaculaires. Nous avons apprécié les marchés nocturnes de Duras et de Monségur. Je recommanderais le restaurant La Terrasse à Duras. Merci Frédéric pour ton aide.
Une semaine magnifique à fêter plusieurs 50e anniversaires avec quatre amis d'école et leurs familles. Nous avons adoré la piscine et l'ampleur du site.

We enjoyed a wonderful 'Spring break at Villa Floriana! The villa has been perfect for our family. We enjoyed the pool and grounds which were perfect for our 4 year old to explore. Everything was as expected and did not disappoint. We spent days in Port Grimaud, Saint-Topez. We would recommend this place to family and friends. We plan to return!
La villa était un endroit idéal où séjourner. Nous louons des villas depuis près de 20 ans maintenant et c'est la première fois que nous n'utilisons pas de voiture. Si proche de l'aéroport, donc proche des commerces, des restaurants, de la mer, de la gare pour des excursions à Nice et Antibes. Et la villa elle-même était charmante - elle était plus spacieuse que ce à quoi nous nous attendions. De plus, à 30 degrés, la piscine était merveilleuse. Seul reproche : une semaine trop courte !

Somewhere special. From the moment we arrived at Le Manoir des Fouilloux we knew it was somewhere special. The attention to detail in every little corner of the beautiful and spacious house and grounds are the result of great vision and an enormous labour of love by its delightful owners Ian and Hugh. Le Manoir exudes a classic, elegant style, with some fun and quirky touches and is luxurious throughout, whilst also allowing you to feel truly relaxed and pampered. You are really spoilt for choice with so many quiet corners to sit, read, relax, snooze, chat and drink rosé as well as several areas to enjoy sunny or shady breakfasts, long lunches and suppers. With a 10 and 13 year old in tow and temperatures of up to 37 degrees, we spent a large part of our time around the stunning pool Hugh and Ian have created. Not wanting to be too lazy though, there are plenty of things to do very close by – kayaking, tree top climbing and river swimming can all be done from St Aulaye and Aubeterre is also well worth a visit. Ian and Hugh are the most thoughtful and considerate hosts and should be rightly proud of the tranquil haven they have created. This was quite possibly the best family holiday we have had and we hope to return one day to enjoy it all over again! Thank you all.
Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit ! Nous avons séjourné avec une famille de 8 personnes et avons passé un merveilleux séjour. La piscine est super, il y a un tennis de table et un grand et beau jardin. Il y a beaucoup de terrasses différentes où s'asseoir/se détendre/déjeuner et dîner. La cuisine est bien équipée, il y a une grande cuisinière et un barbecue pour cuisiner à l'extérieur. C'est calme et il y a beaucoup d'intimité. Sam et son mari sont très sympathiques, communicatifs et serviables. Nous avons loué les vélos électriques pendant deux jours et avons apprécié le cadre magnifique et rustique. Il y a un court de tennis à proximité auquel il est très facile d'accéder. En fait, nous ne pouvons rien trouver contre cet endroit, c'est vraiment super !
We arrived at a large house that matched well and even more to what the photos showed. This is the first time we have found a vacation rental with so many dishes and kitchen supplies. As we were a large family with a few small children, this environment greatly favored the well-being of our stay. We sincerely thank our host for this generous sharing.

Simply a wonderful holiday, house and village We're just back from spending a week in this fabulous house in a great little village. The house had everything to make our stay totally comfortable with loads of space for our party of two couples and could have accommodated two or three more people easily. The pool and pool area were great with plenty of loungers and seating with a nice shaded area for refuge from the sun at the hight of the afternoon but best of all there is a great terrace where we spent the warm evenings with a glass or three of our favourite tipple. We were able to join in the fun and celebrations in the local bars as France progressed in the World Cup, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The village itself has all we would want bakeries, a couple of bars and restaurants with pretty good food and all just 1 to 2 minutes walk from the house, there is even a good supermarket 5 minutes walk away. All in all we had a great holiday and can't wait to go back next year, 5 stars from us.
We enjoyed a very happy week at the villa. The only problem was that the villa is so nice that most of our plans for getting out and about were abandoned! We loved the privacy of the garden and pool area.
Very enjoyable, well kitted and at a logged location for a lazy 'by the pool' sort of break. Love the poolhouse area and very nice interior decor. Gary and Louise were most helpful and we had a wonderful relaxing time. Monflanquin was good fun and we enjoyed the day and night markets. Great for all ages.
Ma famille y a passé un séjour formidable. Nous avons 2 jeunes enfants (âgés de 1 et 5 ans) et l'appartement était propre, sécurisé, avec des appareils modernes (y compris un lave-linge/sèche-linge), une vue sur l'océan et une belle piscine à débordement sur le toit. Les chambres ont un bon volume, faciles à utiliser, avec contrôle de la température, climatisation et stores occultants. Un lit bébé et une chaise haute étaient disponibles dans l'appartement. Il y a un grand supermarché/magasin de l'autre côté de la rue et l'appartement donne directement sur la promenade de la plage, donc il est facile de se rendre à pied à la marina et aux restaurants de plage. J'espère que nous pourrons revenir bientôt.
Tout est fantastique, la maison est encore mieux que sur les photos et on remarque l'affection qu'on lui a donnée dans les moindres détails. Il a tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin et les appareils sont de grandes marques. Nous y sommes allés avec beaucoup d'enfants et ils ont passé un bon moment. Un grand merci aux hôtes et nous espérons revenir bientôt.
Wonderful villa, pool and location We loved everything about our stay. Danny was very welcoming on our arrival and charming when we left. The villa is superb with a beautiful view, lovely garden and is very well equipped. The pool is incredible and we swam every day. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was very welcome. Lots of interesting places to visit in the area. We highly recommend it.
A wonderful week in this beautiful house. Lots of memories. Our boys loved the table tennis and pool. Night markets in Quarante are a must. I hope we’ll be back x x
It has been a great pleasure meeting you both and staying with you. We thoroughly enjoyed our first evening with you both and learning a little about the area. What you have done with your property is truly magnificent despite the artisans! We enjoyed following your recommendations for places to visit and have navigated our way through the vineyards - thank you for our adventures! We went to Narbonne and saw synchronized kite flying that was really exciting to watch. We will really miss the gardens and pool. Au revoir.
We have spent a hot and relaxing week at your lovely villa, it is extremely comfortable and the children have loved playing in the pool each day.
A beautiful fun filled 7 days in this amazing house. Thank you. Equipped for all 8 of us. Kids swam everyday, favourite game of the week. Dads throwing balls high/low/long and making the biggest splash. Parents enjoying evening games of scrabble over a few too many. Lots of towns and markets visited. We plan to back back to make even more memories. Thank you.
