The house is great for a large group and the surroundings are really beautiful. The fig and almond trees in the gardens were in full fruit too. The pool area would benefit from shade such as the awning in the online picture. The weather was very hot while we were there and the upstairs bedrooms were uncomfortably warm. Take not that the a/c is only in the living area.

Our second stay at 'Mel's place', the first was in 2012. Returned with 2 more grand children and a grand son's girlfriend. Have stayed in many houses over the years - this is by far the best. Brilliant pool for everyone, loads of space for the children to play and a secret garden if you want to get away from it. We didn't go far - we just enjoyed the opportunity for us all to get together for a relaxing holiday. Also there is so much equipment and toys for the children - Mel's thought of everything, an excellent host.
Nous sommes de retour à la maison après de très belles vacances en famille à la Maison Semoussac. Le temps était mitigé (la pluie était bien sûr de mise), mais cela ne nous a pas empêchés de nous amuser. Les enfants ont adoré courir sur le chemin en laissant des petites carottes dans l'espoir d'apercevoir des lièvres et cueillir des mûres, qui étaient abondantes. Les jouets et les livres des enfants étaient merveilleux et (étonnamment pour leur âge) ils ont adoré jouer au Monopoly ! Marian nous a également préparé de délicieux repas. Merci beaucoup.

Quel endroit fantastique vous avez créé ici dans la belle ville de L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. Merci beaucoup pour ce merveilleux séjour dans votre belle maison. Notre famille a passé des moments merveilleux dans cette petite oasis. La seule partie difficile de notre séjour a été de nous forcer à quitter ce sanctuaire qu'est la maison ! Nous sommes sûrs que nous reviendrons et que nous créerons une vague de tourisme venant de l'Australie occidentale lointaine - les envoyant tous séjourner chez vous. The beautifully maintained gardens, softly illuminated in the evenings, create a romantic and serene atmosphere, while the untouched woodland adds a sense of tranquility and adventure. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, from the luxurious accommodations to the stunning swimming pool overlooking the picturesque landscape. Whether we were exploring the nearby historic villages, indulging in the region’s incredible food and wine, or simply relaxing on the terrace, every moment felt special. La Petite Maison Générille is more than just a place to stay - it's an experience, one that lingers long after you leave. We can't wait to return!
The accomodation were beyond our expectations, the rooms were large and spacious with an antique feel. Outdoor gardens well maintained and beautiful. Pool area is large and well equipped for our family vacation
A beautiful maintained property, tastefully decorated and providing excellent facilities, both inside and out. It has commanding views of the countryside and the grounds are delightful with a large pool. It has the added bonus of a pool house which offers opportunities to relax, eat and cook outside of the main house. There is also a lovely shady BBQ area. It makes an ideal place for families to enjoy holidays together and our grandchildren loved it. The on-site guardian and his wife are always on hand to give any help needed. A thoroughly enjoyable stay and we hope to return.

What a truly wonderful place!! Although the photos show a beautiful place, they do not do justice to the reality, which was perfection. The chateau, its grounds and the location are all outstanding and so big! Lots of walks and places to explore. Gaelle, the host, was there if we needed, answering emails very quickly and offering help and recommendations . We were a party of 15 with ages from 3 to 73. Everyone felt comfortable and well catered for. A perfect holiday!

Quel merveilleux séjour ! Mark et Gary ont créé le parfait havre de paix… le souci du détail, tant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur, est incroyable. La décoration et les œuvres d'art du gîte sont magnifiques, et l'espace piscine, entouré de nature et accompagné de chants d'oiseaux, est si reposant et paisible. Dès votre arrivée, vous vous sentirez choyés grâce au luxueux panier de bienvenue, au cocktail d'accueil et aux savons et crèmes hydratantes artisanaux locaux disponibles au gîte. Nous recommandons vivement et nous reviendrons !

Plenty of room for the whole family. Lovely outdoor dining area with scenic pond. BBQ was great. The swimming pool area was beautiful, very clean and child friendly. There was enough seating in all spaces for the whole family. Thank you for a very enjoyable holiday.

We are finally home and now reflecting on happy memories of our wonderful holiday in France and particularly our 10 nights spent here. Where do we begin to ever thank you for all that you did and for making our holiday so special. We felt like we had our own personal butler looking after us throughout our stay. Even prior to our arrival we welcomed the emails, the ease of booking and then promptly replying to any query that we had , as well as the phone call to offer help and support the week before we were scheduled to arrive. We really appreciated the welcome basket of goodies and all the other little things that you had thoughtfully put in the fridge, making our arrival into the gîte a very warm and welcome one. Your 'blood, sweat and tears' have truly paid off as we could see the attention to detail that has gone in to making this a luxury gîte for your guests. We noticed the quality of furnishings and fittings, bed linen, sumptuous soft towels and then separate towels laid out for us by the pool, all of which made for an exciting stay ahead! The beds were extremely comfortable and accompanied by the peace and tranquility at night meant we both woke each morning feeling fully refreshed! We particularly enjoyed our time spent around the swimming pool and also using the outdoor kitchen/BBQ. Everything was spotlessly clean and we know that you ensured the pool area was cleaned down for us every morning. We were blessed with good weather too. The views from the terrace were stunning and we never tired from sitting there overlooking the local Cuzorn area and the valley beyond. It was a pleasure getting to know you and hearing about your journey from Essex to Lot-et-Garonne. For us, as first guests it was a privilege staying at Lasserre and we will be talking about you and our holiday for years to come. I equally hope that for you and Kate your first guests did not let you down and we have left a wonderful impression on you too! We sincerely hope that you are rewarded for the fruits of your labour and whilst we would like you to have a busy season, just secretly we would like to keep this little bit of heaven purely for us!
Writing this sitting at the table and chairs by the well - blue skies and warm sunshine, it has been a perfect week, absolutely loved everything about the house, garden and pool - so hard to leave. To make the stay even more special, I celebrated my 60th birthday with all my family and we had yummy cakes delined by Amanda - huge thank you.
Charming host. Beautiful location with magnificent views with vines and sunflowers. Perfect for running and walking. Good clean pool with covered area alongside so ideal for being in the shade. House very comfortable with all amenities including air con throughout.

Nous voulions juste vous dire que tout va bien ici et que nous passons tous un merveilleux moment. Quelle fabuleuse maison, avec tant de caractère ! Cela fonctionne parfaitement pour nous : nous l'adorons complètement. Nous ne réalisons pas encore à quel point elle est bien conçue. Et nous nous amusons tellement dans la piscine. C'est l'endroit parfait pour nous ! De plus, je ne peux pas vous dire à quel point nous avons été touchés par votre brillante carte d'anniversaire et votre fabuleuse bouteille de champagne ! Nous nous sommes sentis très à l'aise ici dans cette maison avec ce beau jardin et la piscine. Calme, repos et détente. Que demander de plus ? Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l'attention et la disponibilité des gens à Bessan et Agde car nous avions besoin d'aide pour notre petite Leah.
