Je voulais juste dire que nous avons passé ion séjour fantastique dans votre belle maison, l'espace et les prestations ont rendu ces vacances très agréables. Merci! Robert a facilité notre séjour, répondant toujours présent pour le moindre conseil ou aide et s'assurant aussi bien à notre arrivée qu'à notre départ que la maison était parfaite. Merci.
Belle propriété avec la plus magnifique des vues. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et serviables. Tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin est là. La piscine était parfaite. Belle promenade champêtre jusqu'au prochain village avec un petit restaurant qui vaut le détour. Cela prend environ 45 minutes. De beaux paysages autour de la maison comme dans un tableau de Van Gogh ! Nous reviendrons certainement.

The accomodation were beyond our expectations, the rooms were large and spacious with an antique feel. Outdoor gardens well maintained and beautiful. Pool area is large and well equipped for our family vacation

La Maison Baleyssagues est charmante. C'est aussi beau que sur les photos, les lits sont super confortables, la cuisine très bien équipée et l'espace piscine et les terrasses extérieures sont charmants, dont une terrasse avec vue et des couchers de soleil magnifiques. Le gestionnaire est extrêmement serviable et a fait de son mieux pour nous aider à résoudre certains problèmes que nous avons rencontrés. Merci! Nous reviendrons.
Merci beaucoup de nous avoir permis de passer une semaine de détente dans cette belle maison. Le jardin et la piscine sont vraiment magnifiques. Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre semaine ici, à visiter les villages locaux sur nos vélos - et nous savons que nous reviendrons bientôt. Merci encore pour ces merveilleuses vacances !
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à la Maison Bonnet. Cette maison est très bien équipée et très agréable à vivre aussi bien à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur. Notre hôte David a été très sympathique et très réactif. Nous recommandons chaudement ce lieu de villégiature.
A lovely place to stay. Hospitable reception. Beautiful surroundings within easy reach of Orange, Avignon, Pont du Gard and Uzès. Highly recommended.
We had such a grat time here! We are only sorry that our stay wasn't longer. The children loved the house and especially the swimming pool. Hopefully we will be back!
Nous avons passé d'incroyables vacances en famille au Château , où nous avons fêté notre anniversaire en grand groupe. Le château, le bâtiment annexe et le vaste parc privé sont magnifiques et très reposants. Nous avions tout ce dont nous avions besoin et le lieu était d'une propreté impeccable. Les hôtes ont pensé à tout et nous avons hâte de revenir.
We enjoyed a lovely week at Le Chanlie; the house is set in wonderful, quiet surroundings and is beautifully furnished. Everything was in place to make us feel very welcome on our arrival. We had a couple of questions following arrival and the owner was really prompt in providing helpful guidance and again welcoming us to the property. The information pack provided at the property was very detailed and was invaluable in terms of guidance on local amenities and made great suggestions for places to visit in the area. Our young daughter was well catered for with plenty of toys and books to keep her amused when the weather didn't allow us to enjoy the outside spaces. Similarly the house has a large collection of games and DVDs for adults too! Overall a really enjoyable week and we would jump at the chance to return!
First things first - Karen, Russell and the girls (Mack and Mabel) are wonderful hosts. Warm, friendly, thoughtful and yet discreet. They love what they're doing and it shows as nothing is too much trouble. Their enthusiasm for their ventures (current and future) is infectious. Secondly is the 'Loft du Vigneron' - a fabulous property offering everything - and more - that you could hope for. Karen and Russell's sense of style has been imprinted on it and their attention to detail has left nothing wanting. Every comfort has been considered from the fabulous welcoming pack to 'The White Company' range of toiletries. The terrace was our favourite place with the sun streaming through the roof and the warm breeze cooling us down. Rieux-Minervois is a typical French village and perfectly situated to explore the entire Minervois region from Carcassonne in the West, East to the Mediterranean, and all the lovely historical villages North and South. In conclusion, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful property with the perfect hosts - highly recommended without hesitation. Our very best wishes for every success in you new venture. Breathtaking. What a hidden gem! All the fotos of Château Velouse do not do the place justice. From the minute you enter the gates and see this magnificent château, glowing in the sunshine at the end of a sweeping drive, you know you are in for a treat. Our wonderful hosts. Claire and Phil greeted us and gave us a tour of the main building and grounds. The interior is exquisitely appointed. All the rooms are large and meticulously clean. The bedrooms are huge and comfortable without being over-fussy. The bathroom - lion clawed bath and walk-in shower - what more could you ask for after a hard day sitting beside the spotlessly clean and well-maintained outdoor pool. There's plenty of places within an hour to explore close by, so if sun-worshipping isn't your thing, like me, go to Bourges and wander around this medieval city, All in all, Château Velouse is an experience I'll never forget and one I hope to revisit

You have been incredible hosts, communication and recommendations were excellent. The house exceeded all of our expectations and we all had an incredible time making good use of all that was on offer! Stuart and I particularly enjoyed the table tennis which got quite competitive! We most definitely will be back again soon!

What would you tell your friends about your holiday ? It was a very pleasant stay. A very quiet house, very well equipped, with a much-appreciated pool. Beautiful scenery. What was the best thing about your stay ? The pool. The view over the landscape. The outdoor space. The air conditioning. What could we do better for your next stay? A pitcher/carafe (but perhaps we just didn’t find it). Were there any appliances you really wished you had? It was more than perfect. How was the comfort of your rooms, pillows, and beds? Impeccable. Do you have any comments on the garden, pool, plancha, etc.? Wonderful. Missing: the table game, and a tree under whose shade one could have lunch. How do you rate the information provided in this booklet? Perfect and complete. Is there anything important missing? One of our friends suggested an electric bike. Another thought that suggestion was excessive. How could we improve it? I note that the useful information, sometimes highlighted, already seems extremely well presented — also topographic details, routes, activities, plans for next year. Do you have any other comments to help us serve you better when you return next year? Looking forward to future visits. Final remark: We thank you for this very good stay in this very beautiful and interesting house, whose collection of books caught our attention.
Waouh, quel séjour absolument merveilleux ! La maison a tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin. Elle est isolée et calme, mais tellement proche de tout. Nous avons même fait un plongeon dans la piscine !!! Nous avons fait une belle promenade autour de Beynac et avons déjeuné délicieusement à l'Hôtel Du Château. Le magasin de vins local nous a bien approvisionnés, nous avons aussi goûté beaucoup de fromages incroyables. Merci beaucoup pour tout, nous espérons vraiment revenir bientôt !
Had a fabulous week at Château Velouse. If you're looking for some time out in splendid surroundings, then I can highly recommend Château Velouse. The château is stunning and there is everything there that you will need. We chose to provide our own cooking during our visit but, I know that Philip and Claire can provide a chef should you require. A great place for a family get together. Highly recommended.
This mansion offers everything anyone could wish for. Spacious, large bedrooms, comfortable bathrooms and outdoors like a park. Lovely swimming pool with sun beds and a lunching area (at least, that’s how we used it. Every one of our group (including the kids) had a wonderful week, no exceptions. Contact with the owner was swift and pleasant and the property manager Caroline is a gem. We hope to be back some other time, but meanwhile we recommend this property to anyone who wants to have an excellent French experience. Many thanks.

Recommended trips with children: Narbonne and Gruissan beach, aerospace Museum in Toulouse, at least 2 trips to Carcassonne, Perpignan worth the drive, Saturday market in Carcassonne.
Stunning château in rural France. In August this year we made our 3rd visit to Château Velouse with a group of friends and once again had a wonderful time. The first time we flew to Paris and hired a car but found it more economical to take a ferry - crossing to Dieppe last year and Calais in August. Easy drive on all occasions. Location is in a beautiful rural area steeped in history and close to the Loire with its majestic châteaux and extensive forests. Medieval Bourge, only a few miles away, is very well worth several visits – the acoustics in the cathedral are amazing. The surrounding area is reasonably flat and so an ideal centre for cycling on very quiet roads and off road tracks. The communal areas and bedrooms in the château are impressive and very classy. The pool area is an ideal centre for complete relaxation. Pool is clean and well maintained. The hosts are extremely welcoming and friendly - very attentive to our needs and not obtrusive. Well worth a visit.
Attendez-vous à un accueil chaleureux de la part de Nicky et Richard, les propriétaires sympathiques et serviables du charmant château. Magnifiquement situé au milieu de vignobles et de collines boisées, nous avons apprécié le calme, les vues, la magnifique piscine et l'espace. Le château n'est pas loin de quelques jolis villages disséminés autour de la rivière Lot, et Cahors n'est qu'à 25 minutes. Beaucoup de choses à faire et à voir dans la région, avec la possibilité de retourner dans notre oasis de vacances pour y faire un barbecue et nous détendre ou jouer une partie de golf sur place sur leur vaste terrain. J'ai adoré.
We had a wonderful week at Manoir Coutenson. The spacious house is very well equipped. The swimming pool is incredibly warm and the children (even the baby) spent hours in it. The shaded area by the pool was essential as the weather was really hot. We loved the area. It is fairly rural but with easy access to the town. The house is very child friendly with toys, high chairs and plastic bowls and plates and lots of pool accessories. All of which were appreciated by our 5 grandchildren. A fabulous, relaxing holiday. J'ai passé une semaine au Petit Pigeonnier en août et j'ai passé un merveilleux séjour. La propriété était impeccable et extrêmement bien aménagée. L'emplacement était magnifique et a dépassé toutes mes attentes. Je tenais également à vous faire part de l'hospitalité exceptionnelle de Debbie, notre hôte. Des yaourts maison étaient proposés le matin et une séance de yoga privée était organisée. Des recommandations de restaurants et de lieux à visiter ont été formulées sans aucune insistance ni atteinte à notre vie privée.

A wonderful place for a family holiday. The house is perfectly stocked; really no want for anything. You have thought of it all, extra bits in the kitchen, games, great chairs by the pool. We loved every minute!
