We have experienced self-catering holidays in many areas of France for some four decades and, without doubt, you are in a premier league of your own! The warmth of your welcome and hospitality have all combined to create for us a truly wonderful holiday and Minervois experience. Fabulously 'well done' to both of you - and 'thank you!' We have just enjoyed one of our best holidays ever and your outstanding charm and conviviality have contributed so much. Merci beaucoup de nous avoir accueillis dans cet endroit très spécial. Nous avons absolument, complètement et totalement adoré être ici. La maison est si belle et fraîche et le jardin est absolument incroyable. Nous nous sentons tellement chanceux d'avoir pu venir nous reposer ici. Nous aimerions certainement revenir.
Probablement les meilleures vacances que nous ayons eues. Nous avons appris à nos garçons à plonger, pêcher et à se relaxer complètement. Nous avons bien profité de la gastronomie française et du vin aussi.
Nous sommes une famille de 5 avec 3 ados. Dès le premier jour, nous nous sommes installés et avons eu beaucoup de mal à repartir au bout de deux semaines. Les propriétaires ont non seulement créé une maison merveilleusement rustique, mais elle a été très bien pensée, avec beaucoup d'espace tant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur pour une famille de 5 personnes. S'y ajoute l'un des meilleurs cadres que vous puissiez imaginer - des collines doucement vallonnées en retrait d'une route de campagne tranquille. Étant une famille sportive, nous avons utilisé la belle piscine tous les jours. La plupart des piscines privées en France font moins de 10 mètres, nous avons donc vraiment apprécié les 13 mètres complets pour nager quelques longueurs. Pour notre plus grand plaisir, il y avait un terrain de badminton extérieur et un terrain de pétanque. La grande pelouse plane au sommet de la propriété était l'endroit idéal pour taper des balles. Les environs sont un délice à découvrir. Des grottes calcaires aux églises souterraines creusées à flanc de colline, aux charmantes villes de marché, aux «plages» fluviales pour se rafraîchir, la région ne semble jamais surpeuplée. Tout cela, associé à la nourriture et aux boissons exquises de la région (à des prix exceptionnels), en fait une région à absolument découvrir pour le touriste averti. Nous ne saurions trop recommander de séjourner ici. Les propriétaires, qui habitent à côté, sont des hôtes parfaits. Ils n'ont jamais empiété une seule fois sur notre intimité, mais étaient plus qu'heureux de discuter et de fournir des conseils, lorsque sollicités. Nous avons hâte de revenir!
On our first house hunting trip we could not have me more friendly and welcoming people than you. La Jolie Vue does not only offer a magnificent view on the rolling hills, it was restored with much care and love !we thank you for your outstanding hospitality dare we say friendship. Herman will pick up the guitar again and hopefully we will find time to make music together soon.
Nous avons passé de nombreuses et heureuses vacances en France, mais comme cette année c'est notre 40e anniversaire de mariage, nous avons pensé que nous devrions chercher un endroit vraiment spécial - et nous l'avons trouvé ! La maison est un délice et le jardin est le plus bel endroit où se reposer et se détendre. La campagne environnante est très paisible et charmante et nous avons beaucoup apprécié les villes et villages voisins. L'abbaye de Fontevraud a été particulièrement remarquable, et les châteaux de Saumur, Chinon et Angers, que nous avons visités pour la dernière fois il y a plus de 30 ans, valaient tous la peine d'être visités à nouveau - tant de travaux de restauration ont été effectués dans les années qui ont suivi. Nous avons aussi aimé la Corniche Angevine qui longe la rive sud de la Loire entre Rochefort et Challones, et les nombreux vignobles. Un grand merci pour votre accueil chaleureux et votre aimable hospitalité.
We spent a truly magical and wonderfully memorably week at Maison Tilleul last summer. It was everything we dreamed of. Stunning grounds, modern facilities, beautiful décor and every amenity you could need. The village is peaceful and picturesque. The countryside was quintessentially French. The historic and geographical wonders that provide endless options for afternoon drives or day trips, were all worth every minute driving through the vineyards and mountain passes that the region offers in abundance. There are wonderful restaurants and bars within walking distance and short drives. We had a spectacular evening watching the sun set with a cocktail at Côté Resto set amongst the vines of Domaine Gayda, followed by exquisite cuisine and a buoyant atmosphere. We sampled traditional Blanquette at the atmospheric Abbaye Saint-Hilaire. Explored the impressive Gorges de Saint-Georges and mountain villages. The Cathar castles and ancient city of Minerve, were stunning and like nothing I’ve seen before, both in scale and the history associated with them. I have visited the Languedoc for years, but Le Parc made it a year like no other. Thank you for the privilege – memories have been made and will be treasured.
Lots of space for 3 generations of family. Kids loved pool house brilliant and they loved playing in grounds. Playroom kept kids entertained. Lots of toys and videos. Excellent. Gas BBQ was fab. Lovely cooker and dishwasher, tumble dryer made for easy holiday. Takayla and Nick excellent hosts, great welcome and nice to know they are on hand for any problems. Would come back again.
Wonderful time with the big family. The beautiful Château Velouse offers plenty of space for a large family or friends, with a great kitchen, a large dining room and a cozy living room. Almost each of the eight traditionally decorated bedrooms are having their own modern bathroom. The huge park is great for own dogs, which you can easy bring with you.
Nous avons passé la meilleure semaine ici dans cette belle maison, un endroit parfait, la maison avait tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Nous n'avions pas de voiture mais tout était accessible à pied. Nous avons passé chaque soirée à boire un verre au « Pub » en centre-ville, offrant de très bons cocktails. Le restaurant Chez le Gaulois a servi le meilleur plateau de fromages et de charcuteries, je ne pourrais pas les recommander davantage. NOUS ADORONS CET ENDROIT et nous reviendrons certainement l'année prochaine. Merci Jackie et Geoff pour ce beau séjour.
Well kept gardens and lovely house. Would highly recommend to anyone. Extras like the UK adapters were a nice touch. Pool made the children holiday. It was also very clean and perfect size and depth. Great hosts, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks for a lovely stay.
Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour à Le Mas Repenti. Nous avons été 3 la première semaine et la maison complète les trois autres semaines. Le porche avec la grande table et le canapé est fantastique. Dîners le soir et café sur les sofas le matin. Tous mes invités ont adoré. Et tout le monde a adoré la piscine et le pool house.
Weary of election nonsense and pandemic restrictions, we sought respite in France and found it at Colombat Cottage.
Château d'époque aussi magnifique qu'original. La piscine est fantastique, les enfants ont adoré les gonflables. Chaises longues autour de la piscine, une partie agréable. Les enfants ont également apprécié d'avoir l'étage comme leur propre espace.
Had an amazing holiday. The villa could not have been better. Had everything we needed including free Wi-Fi and access to English TV. The pool was great and heated so we could go in it all the time. The area was lovely. Food was brilliant and overall we have a really lovely holiday and would definitely come back to the villa.

Your house is lovely and we all had a relaxing and enjoyable week. I think I can safely say that in all the years of hiring holiday accommodation in France we have not stayed in such a well appointed and well equipped property. Lovely place for us to spend a week. Villa Kali is very comfortable and well equipped.
Spacious and very pleasant house, in a quiet area, close to shops and restaurants . Welcoming and responsive host. Pool clean and so refreshing in hot weather. The village is very pretty and lively in the summer. We'll be back.
First things first - Karen, Russell and the girls (Mack and Mabel) are wonderful hosts. Warm, friendly, thoughtful and yet discreet. They love what they're doing and it shows as nothing is too much trouble. Their enthusiasm for their ventures (current and future) is infectious. Secondly is the 'Loft du Vigneron' - a fabulous property offering everything - and more - that you could hope for. Karen and Russell's sense of style has been imprinted on it and their attention to detail has left nothing wanting. Every comfort has been considered from the fabulous welcoming pack to 'The White Company' range of toiletries. The terrace was our favourite place with the sun streaming through the roof and the warm breeze cooling us down. Rieux-Minervois is a typical French village and perfectly situated to explore the entire Minervois region from Carcassonne in the West, East to the Mediterranean, and all the lovely historical villages North and South. In conclusion, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful property with the perfect hosts - highly recommended without hesitation. Our very best wishes for every success in you new venture. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay at your gorgeous Piglet. You are both fabulous hosts - producing treats from your garden, wine and local knowledge. We loved staying here with the swimming pool, the garden and walking into Vouvant to try out the local cafés and restaurants.

Thank you, what an amazing holiday we’ve had in your wonderful house, from the swimming pool to the table tennis room and family boule tournaments, we’ve had great fun. We loved. We loved swimming in the river in Nyons and the massive markets. A lovely windy trip up to mount Ventoux with amazing views and cheering on the cyclists!. Vaison la romaine was a nice morning out with the Roman remains and finally a quick wine tasting (and purchase) at Domaine du Tave with Audrey finished it off nicely. Thanks again,
