Wow - what a fantastic place to stay! Hugh and Ian are wonderful hosts and have made sure everything we need us available to make our holiday such a relaxing one. The grounds are beautiful and the pool has been glorious to cool down in the summer heat. It was great to meet Oscar your stunning dog too. Thank you for another wonderful stay at Manoir de Fouilloux. So memorable as it was our little girl Clemmies first holiday!
Super séjour dans une grande villa très confortable ! La piscine est très agréable. Le logement, bien équipé, est situé dans un village sympathique à bonne distance de Béziers et des stations balnéaires de la côte.
Nous adorons cette maison! Merci de nous avoir reçus. La vallée de la Loire est magnifique et c'est super d'avoir une maison confortable où rentrer à la fin de la journée. Notre fille ADORE le beau jardin. Tout était parfait et nous espérons revenir un jour.
Wow ! Totally surpassed our expectations. The attention to detail is amazing. This place is truly unique, the decor and furnishings are beautiful. The outside space is spectacular. I could ramble on for hours about our stay, not to mention all the incredible things to do in the surrounding area.
Nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances au Domaine de Nérige et nous avons pensé que c'était absolument superbe - extrêmement confortable, spacieux et avec beaucoup de jeux ! Nous ne saurions trop le recommander, et c'était un bonus de rencontrer les propriétaires et d'entendre comment ils ont transformé une ruine abandonnée en une si merveilleuse demeure.
We have just returned from a fabulous fortnight. The listing and reviews stated the house was comfy and well equipped, well I can totally vouch for that. We wanted for nothing. Beds are very comfy, the outdoor area is outstanding. Everything you could want is to hand. One, if not the best pool we've ever used and Martyn keeps it spotless everyday. The owners are on hand if needed or not. The village is excellent, a short walk with a restaurant. Highly recommended and we'll be back.

Nous sommes maintenant chez nous en Australie. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans votre maison. L'emplacement était parfait pour visiter la région : nous avons visité des villages, des vignobles et des villes balnéaires. Nous avons particulièrement aimé Mèze et la plage de Sète. C'était très relaxant de rentrer à la maison et de se rafraîchir avec un plongeon dans la piscine avant le dîner. Nous avons trouvé que l'emplacement de la maison était très calme, mais idéal pour sa proximité avec Pèzenas. Nous n'hésiterons pas à recommander votre belle maison à nos amis.

Je suis tombée sous le charme de cette belle demeure atypique. Sa proximité avec le château de Duras lui apporte une touche féerique... Il y a tout le confort nécessaire pour les visiteurs et la literie est de qualité. D'un côté de la demeure, vue imprenable sur la belle piscine et sur la vallée et de l'autre côté, vue magique sur les fortifications du château. Je n'en dévoilerai pas d'avantage et laisse le plaisir , aux prochains visiteurs ,de découvrir les autres petits trésors que cache cette maison. Le village de Duras est typique des petites villes de province avec son beau marché local et coloré . Les soirs, très bonne ambiance festive.
Tout simplement parfait! Très bien équipé, lits confortables et emplacement merveilleux. Des vacances très relaxantes, exactement ce dont nous avions besoin. Nous reviendrons très certainement.
Fantastic time in this great house and location. 2 weeks of rest, relaxation and fun with the kids and extended family. Thank you. What a wonderful place! So much for the kids to do - swimngs, slide, trampoline, swimming and may runing races, lots of yumy wines and cheese. Two scrumptious meals cooked by Tim and Ali. Very tempted to return next year! The house is great for a large group and the surroundings are really beautiful. The fig and almond trees in the gardens were in full fruit too. The pool area would benefit from shade such as the awning in the online picture. The weather was very hot while we were there and the upstairs bedrooms were uncomfortably warm. Take not that the a/c is only in the living area.
The family and I had a lovely stay at your house, Les Rocans. Your house, Les Rocans, has obviously been the subject of careful and loving restoration in many parts and it was lovely to stay there. The location is stunning, one could not tire of the views from the hillside. During our stay the weather was blistering hot sun and maximum temperatures around 36-38 degrees C. However, the breeze coming up the hill tempered the heat to make it quite tolerable. The trees you have carefully left near the swimming pool gave really good shade; it was my favourite lounging place. The swimming pool was so enjoyable, especially in the heat. Water temperature was the same as the heated pool in our local Virgin Active gym complex, occasionally higher, so our 4 year old grandson spent large amounts of time in the pool. Again, a lot of thought has clearly been given to the siting of the pool. There is a lot to do and see in the surrounding countryside. Our regret is we didn't get out as much as anticipated as the heat was a little too much away from Les Rocans. The few trips we did make showed how picturesque that part of France remains, especially around Sablet / Seguret / Vaison. Definitely we shall explore more next time, perhaps at a quieter time of year. Kevin, thank you for providing a place which gave us all much enjoyment for our weeks stay. The whole family wished they could have stayed longer. We did our best to cherish your house as you so obviously do.
Fantastic stay in an amazing location. We were 6 adults and 5 children staying for 2 weeks. The weather was still mild and sunny in October and the views on the Corsican mountains and the bay of Ajaccio were stunning. The villa is spacious, very well furnished and in top shape. We used the living room fireplace (it has an extraordinary sixteenth century mantelpiece) every night, it was magical. It is a great place for families.

I am writing to say what a wonderful time we had at Les Rocans during the week of 3th-10th August. It suited all our needs and we were amazed by the tranquility and beauty of the surroundings.
Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse avec un temps très chaud (35°- 40°) et la piscine a été une aubaine ! La maison a tout ce qu'il faut pour une semaine de détente et les fléchettes et le tennis de table ont été très utilisés. Le bar Le Convent offre une vue imprenable et une excellente cuisine/boissons, mais réservez car il y a toujours du monde. Merci Nic et Doug pour votre hospitalité.
Très belle maison, propre, récemment rénovée et joliment design tant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur. La vue est incroyable, Mougins est un joli village à quelques pas de la villa où nous avons trouvé d'excellents restaurants recommandés par Jane. Fortement recommandée pour une famille ou un groupe d'amis. Merci!

Sadly leaving. What a truly delightful house this is and how warm and welcoming it has been for our family of 9 travelling from Australia to celebrate two 50th birthdays. Despite the heat we have been comfortable and happy, exploring many towns and locations and enjoying the pool and the house. The kitchen was perfect, all the little extra's very much appriciated and the beds so comfortable. We played football, rode the bikes and went for local walks. Simply one of the best houses we've ever stayed in and one of the best holidays we've ever enjoyed.

We stayed with a group of friends for the week before our wedding and we could not have asked for a more perfect place to have some quality time and enjoy the great pool! We were also treated to a bottle of champagne for our wedding. What a great place! Would highly recommend.
We have had the most wonderful holiday in your beautiful house. The pool was a sanctuary in the heat. The house is perfect for exploring this lovely part of the south of France. Can we come back, please..?
We were so impressed with the quality of this home with a high contemporary finish in every room. The kitchen and lounge dinner opens onto an exquisite terrace with far reaching views and ideal for outdoor dinning . Loved the pool area with private patio. This is in the centre of a charming village with all amenities. The unspoilt coastline is stunning and to think it's under an hour from the airport. We would strongly recommend this home and we can't wait to return. Did we forget to mention it's also exceptional value for money.
The weather has been great so spent most of our time in the pool and on the sun loungers. We loved visiting the towns and villages nearby and particularly enjoyed the fresh pastries every morning! Thank you for the great holiday we had in this great villa and a holiday we will never forget, and a holiday we loved every minute of. We all will be very, very sad to be leaving! Merci!
