We’ve had a wonderful time thank you. Yes, it did get pretty hot last week, but coming from England we shouldn’t moan..! It’s such a stunning location and the house is very comfortable and cool in the heat. We really don’t want to go home but I’m afraid we have to… Maybe we can come again next summer?
A little corner of paradise ! Everything is perfect; the house, the exteriors, the decoration, the atmosphere.
Nous avons passé 2 trés bonnes semaines dans la maison. La location correspond exactement aux photos publiées sur le site et elle était trés propre à notre arrivée. Les propriétaires nous ont fourni un large descriptif de la maison, des personnes à contacter en cas de soucis, des visites à faire nous permettant ainsi de passer notre séjouren toute tranquilité. Le proriétaire est facilement joignable; un agent est sur place en cas de soucis et une personne se charge de l'entretien de la piscine tous les 3 à 4 jours. La maison est idéale pour 2 couples avec enfants car il y a des chambres et 1 salle de bain au rez de chaussée et à l'étage. Nous conseillons vivement cette location et merci à Terry et Carol pour l'accueil.
Nous sommes rentrés depuis une semaine à la maison et je voulais juste envoyer un email pour vous remercier pour ces vacances merveilleuses. Parfait du début à la fin. Réservation facile, communication au top, un gîte fantastique avec de super propriétaires. C'était seulement notre deuxième réservation avec Pure France mais cela ne sera certainement pas la dernière!

From the moment I arrived at Les Cazettes, I was completely mesmerised by it. Every corner of the villa has the most beautiful architecture, thoughtful design and authentic charm in every detail, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. Each room is a masterpiece. All that beautiful furniture and chandeliers speak of timeless elegance and gives it much more personality than any modern soulless contemporary interior designs that is more common to find among luxury villas. As someone who deeply values nature, the villa's surroundings became my nirvana place. With colourful fields that seem to stretch infinitely and forests that attract to explore it, there’s a certain magic that Les Cazettes holds. The air here is different - it’s charged with an energy so vibrant, yet very calming. It's rare to find a place that can give you the feeling of being home, especially when you're miles away from what you’ve always known. It’s an oasis where happiness isn’t just felt, it's lived. I've spent such beautiful moments here, makes me feel so warmly nostalgic as I write this review. Bring your favourite people with you and step into that bubble that feels from another world. A place where joy isn’t just a sporadic emotion but a permanent atmosphere that surrounds you. It's not just a holiday spot - it’s an experience, a journey, a lifestyle that I never wanted to end. Maison Bourriette is a wonderful place to stay! In a peaceful location. it’s a perfect getaway with cool indoor spaces and beautiful tranquil outdoor spaces. The house boasts wonderful views across the valley, with many routes from the house for walks or runs. The village is a short walk away and has a well stocked traditional market, an outdoor gym for those feeling active! The artificial beach in the village also allows for swimming or relaxing and the local pizza restaurant completes the day! We have visited more than once and each stay is relaxing, with friendly, helpful hosts. We will definitely go back to this hidden gem!
Thank you for being such welcoming hosts. We have had a thoroughly relaxing week and have loved staying in Loft du Vigneron. Everything is so stylish and spotless. We loved the swimming pool! A little touch of heaven on earth...
We have had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. We appreciate how clean it was when we arrived (thanks Yvonne) and the wine. We love the decor and period furnishings. The pool and small barn were great. It was interesting to hear about the history and previous occupants of the house from Bob and Margaret, the English neighbours across the road. Thanks. We hope to return one day.
Wow, what a great place! During our stay there was nothing else we could have wished for. The awesome pool area, the great BBQ, the comfortable (sun)beds and beautiful bathrooms; everything was top notch. Enjoying the local wines, the pretty surroundings and fantastic golf course with our friends made this stay like it should be... Holiday! We hope to come back!

Jolie maison pour passer une semaine de détente en famille en Dordogne. L'espace est idéal pour 3 familles et les garçons ont particulièrement apprécié le jardin et la piscine.
Private pool in perfect surroundings. Maison Meunier is a great little find. I stayed in the larger house last year so was excited to return to the area. Inside there are 2 good sized bedrooms, clean bathroom and kitchen with full facilities and a stylish and spacious living and dining area. And then there is the outside...! There is a beautiful pergola covered terrace with BBQ which is perfect for al fresco dining and evening chats over a bottle of wine (from the local vineyard of course). The pool has stunning views over fruit trees, the fishing lake and forest covered hills in the background. It feels very private and isn't overlooked. The pool is immaculate and perfect size for playing / floating / chilling. The pool area also has sun loungers and a covered portion for the shade seekers. The area of Saint Front-Sur-Lemance is beautiful. Very sleepy and laid back but has all the best necessary amenities within a 5 minute walk (shop, cafe, Albert's pub) or 10 - 15 minute drive (Blanquefort-sur-Briolance for moules frites at Auberge des Moulins or Fumel for bigger shops and 25m outdoor pool). The owners are great hosts; not intrusive but always nearby to provide advice or help if needed. We can't wait to return next year.
We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The private, secluded setting was just what we needed. We used th eoutdoor kitchen all the time, such a wonderful addition to the property. We will be back!

As soon as I saw the house I just loved it. Then as I walked inside, the house wrapped itself around me. I loved all the rustic charm. The views were calming and cows a pleasure to watch. You could say I felt at home.

We had a wonderful week at Manoir Coutenson. The spacious house is very well equipped. The swimming pool is incredibly warm and the children (even the baby) spent hours in it. The shaded area by the pool was essential as the weather was really hot. We loved the area. It is fairly rural but with easy access to the town. The house is very child friendly with toys, high chairs and plastic bowls and plates and lots of pool accessories. All of which were appreciated by our 5 grandchildren. A fabulous, relaxing holiday. Un grand merci à Thomas pour son accueil et son accompagnement tout au long de notre séjour. La villa est superbe et très bien aménagée: la cuisine est idéale pour un groupe. Les chambres sont décorées avec goût et offrent des prestations d'un bel hôtel. Les vacances sont passées trop vite !
Jolie maison pleine de charme et authentique à Lusignac. La maison est telle que décrite avec d'excellents équipements pour nos vacances d'été. Nous étions 8 adultes avec 2 bébés (2 ans et 18 mois) et la maison nous a tous très bien accueillis.
En nageant sous le soleil à La Barde, nous avons vécu un séjour luxueux dans un endroit idéal pour nous rappeler les aspects les plus importants de la vie : la famille, la nature et l'amour. C'est tellement évident que chaque recoin de cette maison a été conçu et est entretenu avec amour. Une escapade parfaite dans les collines de Lusignac.
Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances dans cette belle maison et dans la campagne environnante. La maison offre tout le nécessaire. La piscine était superbe. Un grand merci à Alan et Madeline pour leur hospitalité.

What an amazing week! The whole family had a superb time - we thoroughly enjoyed your beautiful home, with everything we needed there! Our family - from the age of 6 to 71 enjoyed all the facilities - the pools, hot tub, table football, darts and of course, table tennis. Thank you so much for your hospitality and use of your “home”. We will be back - but before then I hope you will visit us in Prague.
We are finally home and now reflecting on happy memories of our wonderful holiday in France and particularly our 10 nights spent here. Where do we begin to ever thank you for all that you did and for making our holiday so special. We felt like we had our own personal butler looking after us throughout our stay. Even prior to our arrival we welcomed the emails, the ease of booking and then promptly replying to any query that we had , as well as the phone call to offer help and support the week before we were scheduled to arrive. We really appreciated the welcome basket of goodies and all the other little things that you had thoughtfully put in the fridge, making our arrival into the gîte a very warm and welcome one. Your 'blood, sweat and tears' have truly paid off as we could see the attention to detail that has gone in to making this a luxury gîte for your guests. We noticed the quality of furnishings and fittings, bed linen, sumptuous soft towels and then separate towels laid out for us by the pool, all of which made for an exciting stay ahead! The beds were extremely comfortable and accompanied by the peace and tranquility at night meant we both woke each morning feeling fully refreshed! We particularly enjoyed our time spent around the swimming pool and also using the outdoor kitchen/BBQ. Everything was spotlessly clean and we know that you ensured the pool area was cleaned down for us every morning. We were blessed with good weather too. The views from the terrace were stunning and we never tired from sitting there overlooking the local Cuzorn area and the valley beyond. It was a pleasure getting to know you and hearing about your journey from Essex to Lot-et-Garonne. For us, as first guests it was a privilege staying at Lasserre and we will be talking about you and our holiday for years to come. I equally hope that for you and Kate your first guests did not let you down and we have left a wonderful impression on you too! We sincerely hope that you are rewarded for the fruits of your labour and whilst we would like you to have a busy season, just secretly we would like to keep this little bit of heaven purely for us!
