Just back at work after two weeks at Maison Tigre and wanted to thank you for sharing your home with us – we had a fantastic time. We have been staying in France and Italy over the last ten years – varying our choice between rural isolation (for space and privacy) and village houses (for the boulangeries and café s, etc.) and I have to say that your home provides the perfect combination in a part of France where there is so much to do and see. I also really like the house itself – the great care that has gone into the development, finishing and furnishings is evident (and I like the modernist / minimalist style you have employed). All in all a brilliant holiday.
Notre première visite a eu lieu en 2010 pendant deux semaines en mai. Ces nouvelles vacances d'une semaine était des vacances de Noël en famille longtemps retardées. La maison est charmante, bien entretenue et confortable. L'emplacement est parfait pour se rendre à pied aux cafés et restaurants locaux, aux magasins, au magnifique marché du samedi et aux sites historiques et architecturaux de la ville. En dehors de la ville, à seulement 15 à 30 minutes en voiture, se trouvent de nombreux châteaux, jardins, musées, sites préhistoriques avec des peintures rupestres et bien plus encore. Il y a tant de choses à faire et une maison agréable où rentrer. Jackie était une hôte merveilleuse.

Vous pouvez toujours continuer à rechercher d'autres maisons de vacances dans le sud de la France, mais cela n'en vaut pas la peine. Merci aux propriétaires pour deux semaines de vacances parfaites dans leur charmante maison, où rien ne manque.
Le Château de La Loire est un emplacement idéal pour découvrir la vallée de la Loire. Il se trouve à proximité de lieux tels que Saumur, de nombreux beaux châteaux, de domaines de dégustation de vins, de fermes de champignons et d'autres points forts de cette région. Les hôtes ont été formidables et le site a tout ce dont vous avez besoin avec piscine, cours de yoga, services de massages, excellent petit déjeuner, parc calme et expositions d'art... nous reviendrons !
Driving down the lane to Maison Bourriette, you know you are on holiday. The farmhouse, set in lovely grounds with views over the countryside, is charming, very comfortable, clean and well equipped. There are markets, hilltop villages and beautiful country walks on the doorstep to explore and then a wonderful warm pool to really unwind! Evenings relaxing by lamplight in the stunning courtyard with wine and friends - memories are made of this!
Nous avons séjourné fin juin pour fêter les 50 ans de ma femme avec ma famille et mes amis (nous étions 16). Le cadre est magnifique et donne sur une vallée particulièrement agréable le soir en se relaxant sur la terrasse avec un ou deux verres de vin. Nous avons passé des vacances fabuleuses. Il y en a pour tous les goûts au château, beaucoup d'activités dans la salle de sport pour occuper tout le monde mais ce que nous avons particulièrement apprécié, c'est la piscine vintage et le parcours de golf qui était difficile mais très amusant. Notre semaine a passé beaucoup trop vite et nous chercherons certainement à y retourner. Merci aux propriétaires Nicky et Richard de nous avoir si bien accueillis et d'avoir fait de l'anniversaire de ma femme une occasion si spéciale.
Si vous cherchez un bel endroit où séjourner en Provence, nous vous recommandons vivement ce domaine (La Bastide 1718) pendant 8 jours pour accueillir 35 personnes pour notre mariage. Nous avions prévu des activités tout au long de la semaine: de la randonnée, du yoga, visite du jardin des papillons sans oublier la visite d'une cave. Notre groupe a adoré ! Nous avons organisé la réception de bienvenue, la cérémonie de mariage, le déjeuner le dîner de mariage et le post brunch à divers endroits de la Bastide. C'était tellemnt magique que nous nous sommes cru dans un rêve. La propriété a encore quelques choses à revoir pour la planification d'événements et les longs séjours mais Thomas était accueillant et une fois sur place tout était parfait. Le vin est également délicieux. Nous adorons leur rosé à 10 Euros et en avons bu des caisses pendant notre séjour. Leurs vins blancs sont également très très bons. Leur vin est délicieux et difficile à trouver aux États-Unis ! Dans l'ensemble, je recommande vivement de séjourner ici. Cela vous videra l'esprit car vous êtes entouré par la nature, la faune et les vignobles qui s'étend à l'infini. Nous avons apprécié la randonnée juste à côté de la propriété tous les matins. Pour une escapade en ville, vous êtes à 45 minutes de la côte, à 40 minutes du vieux Hyères, qui est notre ville provençale préférée, et à 10 minutes d'un restaurant étoilé Michelin à La Celle. Nous recommandons chaudement. Leur huile d'olive est aussi délicieuse !
Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique à la Villa Bellara. Jean-Luc est un hôte formidable et nous a tout expliqué dès notre arrivée. La villa est spacieuse et dispose de tous les équipements nécessaires. Son emplacement est idéal, pas besoin de voiture : boulangerie, supermarché, plage et restaurants sont accessibles à pied, tout comme la gare, qui permet un accès rapide et économique aux autres stations balnéaires de la côte. Je recommande vivement cette villa.
Anthony and Rachel make wonderful hosts being friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and also very generous with their excellent "welcome pack". We loved the whole region: Carcassonne and Mirepoix are a "must" (the owners of the "Mad Hatter" cafe in Mirepoix are Brits) and we enjoyed the markets at Mirepoix and Revel. Also enjoyed the drive south from Revel through the pretty villages/small town of Saissac. Lagrasse is a pleasant village but a tad overrated in our view. On the other hand, we loved Minerve and the Minervois region including the small town of Caunes-Minervois. Fontfroide is worth a visit and Montesegur is a must if in that area. We enjoyed Peyriac de-Mer and Gruissan on the coast but would avoid Narbonne Plage on another occasion - great beach though! Toulouse is a pleasant city and worth a visit if cities are "your thing" and the SNCF smartphone app worked brilliantly. For a special lunch, Cote Resto is a must. Excellent food and in a wonderful setting.

We stayed at this beautiful place with 10 adults and one child. The house is large and magnificent with every comfort thought of. Beautifully decorated and everything of quality. The heated swimming pool was amazing. Jim was charming and helped us organise the stay and the housekeeper gave us a very warm welcome. We will definitely be coming back for future family reunions.
Fantastique propriété - très confortable et bien équipée. Nous avons passé une semaine incroyable à Rully. La propriété est joliment décorée et on se sent véritablement comme chez-soi en termes de confort et d'équipements. L'espace extérieur est super - quatre aires de repos différentes en fonction de l'endroit où vous voulez vous installer. Sigrid et sa famille font tout leur possible pour s'assurer que vous disposez de toutes les informations avant votre arrivée. Je ne saurais trop le recommander.
Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans le magnifique Colombat Cottage. Il avons profité du calme, de la nature et de beauté des lieux. Carelle et Stephen sont des hôtes attentionnés. Nous recommandons vivement.

We are just back from two magical weeks in this property set in a beautiful area with many Bastides to visit. The house is spacious with every required amenity hosted by the lovely owners Jean and Martin not forgetting the real star Tanner the dog. The grounds are enormous with a gorgeous pool, gazebo, huge parasols and sun-beds. The local village Lauzun is a short walk away for bread and there is a local Bar de Sport. Each Saturday night in the season the main street is closed off and tables set up for a gourmande evening... Very French! The owners will ensure that you have a good time but are in no way obtrusive. Don't miss the opportunity to try this property!
We came here to celebrate a couple of family birthdays and get some time together. From the moment we walked in the door we quickly came to realise what an amazing place this is. The view from the kitchen window (bu the sink) literally brought my sister to tears. ... in a very positive way. This week has allowed us to explore the area to some degree, but with so much on offer around and in the property, there was little incentive to go anywhere. The difficulty now will be to keep this gem of a property a secret from others, as we will undoubtedly tell everyone about this fantastic place. Thank you for so generously sharing your house. We had to wait a long time for our much anticipated return visit to your wonderful villa - and it did not disappoint. We have had the best time, Sophia enjoyed the pool (as we all did). Great place to explore this fabulous area, a boat trip to Saint-Tropez and Port Grimaud plus two beaches. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful home with us. We look forward to coming back for a third time.
Many thanks for a wonderful week, we have so enjoyed this lovely house and the beautiful area around it, we wish we had more than a week to see more of what we wanted, we enjoyed the circular walk through the mixed pine forest, it’s very pretty and only 2 km long. We loved l Auberge du petit bistro in Vinsobres (a 2/3 minute drive), this was our favourite eating experience, while Vaison la Romain was lovely to visit. Many thanks for bringing us to all these wonderful experiences.
You don't need us to tell you what a beautiful house this is and the bath with a view indeed. We didn't eat out much as the super markets were so convenient and the kitchen well equipped. We arrived in a heat wave, not complaining though! It was amazing and the wonderful pool helped us cool off. The children took their push bikes over the back of the vineyards to the cycle path and biked into Nyons, we also walked it which was most pleasant. As regards places of interest, we took ideas from the house book as it was too hot to visit the tourist information centre during opening hours and most of our exploring was done in the evenings.
Spacious, comfortable and stylish. The house has a super atmosphere. It’s really spacious, tastefully decorated and very well equipped. The beds are comfortable and the bedrooms and bathrooms have all you need. The pool was spotless and such a treat that it’s just yours to use. The house sits very near to the village. Just a couple of minutes walk to the Square and the little market that seems to visit every Saturday and on two other days too. You can get all you need from there or from the little super market nearby. The terrace was fab for eating our meals outside and just off the kitchen. Bbq worked well too. Over all it was definitely a 10 out of 10 stay. The owners have thought of everything. We really loved the enormous wall hangings.
Nous venons juste de rentrer de cette absolument merveilleuse propriété à Collioure et nous aimerions partager nos impressions avec vous. Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par le propriétaire et son épouse. La propriété est juste comme sur les photos, voire mieux. C'est une maison vraiment exceptionnelle, avec tout ce que vous pouvez désirer. Les lits sont extrêmement confortables, les salles de bains spacieuses et bien équipées. À l'étage, la cuisine possède tout ce qu'un cuisinier amateur comme moi désire, avec des épices à disposition en abondance. La personne en charge de la Maison (Dany) vit tout près et vous assistera immédiatement pour tout éventuel problème rencontré. La bouteille de gaz du barbecue était vide et après un message laissé au propriétaire, Dany est venu en 10 minutes pour la changer. Cette maison ne déçoit en aucun point et nous la recommanderons à quiconque souhaite une véritable maison de luxe près de la très belle ville balnéaire de Collioure.
10ème été en France et c'est la meilleure maison dans laquelle nous avons séjourné. Tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour vous détendre et passer un merveilleux séjour. Merci pour cette superbe semaine.
Belle et vaste demeure décorée avec soin composée d'une maison équipée de 2 salons, une grande cuisine parfaitement équipée, de 4 chambres et autant de salles d'eau à l'étage. Un gîte à l'extérieur avec 3 chambres et salon, une magnifique salle conviviale avec table de ping-pong, billard, bar complètement équipé et home cinéma. Mark, malgré la distance, est très réactif et sympathique. Un de ses amis est venu, s'assurer, le lendemain de notre arrivée, que nous étions bien installés. La maison est bien placée pour visiter les villages aux alentours : Bergerac, Issigeac, boucle de la Nette, château de Biron, Villareal... A refaire l'été pour profiter de la majestueuse piscin! On recommande VIVEMENT!
And so ends another fabulous two weeks at the Loft du Vigneron. Everything we said in September 2017 remains absolutely appropriate. Karen and Russell, you do such a magnificent job in presenting The Loft - you really are in a league of your own. Please know how much everything you do is so appreciated - it all makes to provide such a fantastic holiday base. How we would love to stay on for another two weeks now - but this will have to wait until next year! We've loved spending time with you again - the boules tournament is firmly in the memory bank! Really sorry about the tea, Russell! Case for the defence: salt does look like sugar when you've had a drink or two! Good luck with the Chambres d'Hotes - it's looking fabulous.
