Merci beaucoup d'avoir partagé votre belle maison avec nous et de nous avoir fait nous sentir les bienvenus. Nous avons vraiment apprécié vos généreux cadeaux de vin et de provisions ainsi que la toute première balade à cheval de mon fils. La maison, les jardins et la piscine sont vraiment fabuleux. Nous avons passé un moment merveilleusement relaxant.
One week was NOT enough!! What a wonderful spot! The Loft was a perfect base and location for relaxation. The garden is lovely and we made good use of the boules court. Cycling by the Canal du Midi was lovely and we enjoyed a walk up behind Caunes-Minervois to enjoy the wildlife and sculpture park. The weather was perfect sunshine to allow some activity.
Wanted to say a massive thank you for letting us stay at your incredible house. How lucky you are to have that place - from the family photos, it looks like you have a lot of great memories from years gone by. We had a very relaxing time hanging out with our family at the house and thoroughly enjoyed pottering around the French countryside. It was just what the doctor ordered! Patrick and Jayne were also very helpful throughout our stay so please do thank them for their amazing hospitality
We are just back from two magical weeks in this property set in a beautiful area with many Bastides to visit. The house is spacious with every required amenity hosted by the lovely owners Jean and Martin not forgetting the real star Tanner the dog. The grounds are enormous with a gorgeous pool, gazebo, huge parasols and sun-beds. The local village Lauzun is a short walk away for bread and there is a local Bar de Sport. Each Saturday night in the season the main street is closed off and tables set up for a gourmande evening... Very French! The owners will ensure that you have a good time but are in no way obtrusive. Don't miss the opportunity to try this property!
Super week-end entre copains. Le logement est magnifique, propre, avec tout ce qu’il faut. La piscine est magnifique tout comme le jardin et la bâtisse de manière général. Je recommande vivement ce logement qui est idéal pour des familles ou encore des groupes d’amis.
Merveilleuse semaine avec beau temps. La piscine était fantastique. Nous avons vraiment apprécié la région. Sue, Patrick et Amber formaient l'équipe parfaite ! Des hôtes formidables + on adore la région + toute la beauté de la nature. Merci.
Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre semaine dans votre charmante maison. Le cadre est magnifique. La campagne, nous avons réussi à voir de beaux cerfs et avons particulièrement apprécié les oiseaux-mouches, si minuscules. Nous avons réussi à explorer les marchés locaux et certaines villes. Les enfants ont adoré la piscine. Merci beaucoup pour tout.
Pete has been a brilliant host with lots of recommendations. Thank you! We have had a fantastic stay at a beautiful location. With our 3 children (12, 10 and 7) we have really enjoyed Chateau de Biron – lots of outdoor toys / games for the kids + a nice picnic area. Lac de Lougratte – safe swimming / paddling for little ones, a diving pontoon and inflatable courses for older ones. Take a picnic! Canoeing (Canoe Rabaska) + Monflanquin night market at Loubéjac.
We enjoyed our relaxing holiday at Le Tesquet which lived up to expectations. The accommodation was great with everything we needed>Pete was a genial host who was fun of good ideas and suggestions. The swimming pool was wonderful. Thank you.
Nous avons vraiment apprécié nos vacances à la Maison Cabanon. C'était très calme mais assez proche de la ville, parfait pour des vacances en famille. Nous avons eu la chance de bénéficier d'un temps magnifique et les enfants ont vraiment apprécié la piscine et le fait d'être ensemble dans la chambre avec les lits superposés. Les installations de la maison sont d'un niveau bien supérieur à celles des villas habituelles. Un véritable second chez-soi.
La maison de Marie-Christine est idéale pour une famille, elle est décorée avec beaucoup de goût, moderne et aérée. Elle dispose de toute les commodités et sa localisation est idéale (supermarché, boulangeries, centre commercial, centre ville, gare, etc) Marie est une personne charmante. Elle nous a donné des conseils et nous a réservé un bon accueil. Je recommande fortement sa maison qui est entièrement rénovée. I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Rusty Shears with friends. The hosts Kirstie and Russell have thought of everything and are on hand if you need anything at all. Beautiful decor, spacious living area and bedrooms. Comfortable beds and powerful showers. The patio and outdoor area is also lovely with great views across surrounding land. The gite is in a lovely peaceful location, but close to historic towns if you like to explore. We also went on a fantastic local wine tasting experience recommended by Russell.
What a wonderful week! The villa is full of elegant and eclectic touches and the outside areas are divine. The pool is just perfect and the shade was needed this week when it was very hot (but not as hot as back home - thank goodness!) Beziers is lovely and there are plenty of places to visit near by. Philippe - you were a wonderful host providing recommendations when asked and keeping the pool sparkling clean. The treats you delivered were fabulous as was the trip you organised to Saint Chinian. The house was very comfortable and the facilities were great it made a good centre for touring the area so we would be happy to recommend the house to anyone else.
We had a wonderful holiday at Mas de Lozanne. Beautiful house, well looked after, close to the fabulous town of Pézenas and some brilliant weather (as well as an amazing unexpected thunderstorm!). Thank you so much.
Idyllic place. Very peaceful break had by all. Garlin is a lovely village. Great bakery for fresh bread and the essential Ecomarket. All in all, great location - awesome house that's been fitted out to a very high standard throughout and a wonderful, unspoilt part of France that we'd never been to before.

Merci beaucoup pour cette merveilleuse semaine dans votre maison. Nous avons apprécié le vin mousseux, les belles fleurs et la maison est tout simplement incroyable avec tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Les points forts pour nous ont été le neuf trous de golf juste à l'extérieur de Saumur, le vélo, la visite de vignobles, des repas au restaurant et la détente au bord de la piscine. Nous avons attrapé des gardons, des naseux et trois grosses brèmes. Il y avait un beau martin-pêcheur au bord du ruisseau. Temps parfait et nous avons tout apprécié d'autant plus après toutes les restrictions de ces deux dernières années.

Nous passons un excellent séjour et la maison est tout simplement parfaite. Les enfants adorent la salle de jeux et la piscine : notre fille de 11 ans en a la peau tout le temps fripée !

We were blown away by the stylish and lovingly-renovated accommodation and enjoyed spending our time here very much. Stunning château in rural France. In August this year we made our 3rd visit to Château Velouse with a group of friends and once again had a wonderful time. The first time we flew to Paris and hired a car but found it more economical to take a ferry - crossing to Dieppe last year and Calais in August. Easy drive on all occasions. Location is in a beautiful rural area steeped in history and close to the Loire with its majestic châteaux and extensive forests. Medieval Bourge, only a few miles away, is very well worth several visits – the acoustics in the cathedral are amazing. The surrounding area is reasonably flat and so an ideal centre for cycling on very quiet roads and off road tracks. The communal areas and bedrooms in the château are impressive and very classy. The pool area is an ideal centre for complete relaxation. Pool is clean and well maintained. The hosts are extremely welcoming and friendly - very attentive to our needs and not obtrusive. Well worth a visit.
Without reservation I can confirm that this was the best rental we have stayed in - every attention to detail and the care and attention to detail by the owners was simply the best!
La propriété est un "joyau" et Philippe et Elisabeth sont des hôtes formidables qui ont su enrichir cette expérience et vacances dans la Loire.
Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable à Nézignan et pensons que la propriété est de première qualité.
We came to stay for a wedding nearby and were a group of 6 adults and our 18 month old twins. It was absolutely perfect for us! There’s so much for littles ones, loads of toys inside and a trampoline, swing set, huge garden and of course the pool outside! All very safe as well. Isabelle was excellent at answering all our questions and arranged for travel cots and high chairs for our little ones. She also helped us find local amenities etc. and provided a fantastic info pack with lots to do in the local area. We visited a lovely local lake with a beach, Saint-Émilion and a local vineyard/restaurant all around 15 minutes drive away. The bakery she recommended 5 minutes down the road was also delightful! Can't recommend this enough if you’re looking for a beautiful château in the countryside.
