I have stayed here with friends on several occasions and the tranquility and serenity is something to treasure. Maison Bourriette and gardens are furnished to the highest standard with a special courtyard enclosed in the original barn walls. The pool and surroundings cater for the most ardent sunbather or swimmer. The welcome you receive is personal and nothing is too much trouble, thus ensuring your best possible stay. From the house you are near to many interesting attractions dotted around the rolling countryside but if you don't want to leave the sanctuary of the house, then there are numerous delightful walks on the doorstep taking you through woods to small settlements or even into Montaigu for quality food and drink. I cannot wait to go back again!
Nous avons passé un séjour chaleureux chez Eva à Sérignan. Très belle villa, joliment située dans un quartier calme. La piscine privée était vraiment un régal ! Eva a été très réactive à nos questions et a été facile à contacter. Nous pouvons certainement recommander son logement et nous n'hésiterons pas à y retourner si nous sommes de nouveau dans la région.
Belle demeure. Une jolie demeure avec jardins, exceptionnellement paisible et privée. Belle piscine. Tous les équipements. Saint-Alvère est également un beau village.
A week at the Mas de Pitou was blissful. The house was comfortable and included everything you would need for a relaxing stay. The view of the Alpilles, bright sunshine throughout the house and the fragrance of lavender and rosemary from the garden completed the picture. I will most definitely return to enjoy more exploring of the regions bounty in farmer's markets, Médiéval villages and stunning views.
We have had a wonderful stay at La Remise. Esther and Lee have been helpful hosts and gave some great tips on places to eat and visit for our stay. The villa and especially the pool have been fantastic.
We had a great vacation in a great house. My compliments to the property owner for renting out such a great home.

Grande maison pour un séjour en famille... parfait pour les adultes et les petits enfants de notre groupe. Nous avons adoré l'emplacement paisible et la faune locale... les superbes vues ainsi que l'observation des oiseaux! Maison confortable et très bien équipée pour les passionnés de cuisine! De nombreux salons extérieurs agréables... et une piscine fabuleuse. Nous n'avons pas beaucoup exploré la région mais je recommanderais vivement Monpazier qui était charmant.
Lovely, lovely - so much to do and not to do. Perfect for 2 weeks of family relaxing.

Quelle magnifique retraite loin de la vie urbaine ! Nous avons réservé trois semaines à la maison et en avons apprécié chaque minute. La cuisine extérieure est fantastique, c'était comme si nous avions notre propre restaurant privé. La piscine était parfaite pour nos trois enfants et la vue panoramique sur les montagnes environnantes est à couper le souffle. Alexandra était facilement joignable en cas de questions ou de problèmes. Dans l’ensemble, fortement recommandé !
Merci pour un séjour des plus merveilleux. La maison est magnifique - encore mieux que ce à quoi nous aurions pu nous attendre! La piscine était incroyable et nous l'avons tous utilisée au moins deux fois par jour. La villa a été magnifiquement rénovée! Merci d'être un si bon hôte Cédric! We have had the most delightful holiday! It began with your friendly and welcoming e-mails well before we got here! We have self-catered across Europe in some pretty good places but none quite so lovely as 'The Loft'. The way you prepared it for our arrival, and your warm and generous welcome was simply stunning! We have since enjoyed the quality and comfort of this 'home from home', and your thoughtful attention to all those little details that have made our stay so very special. Our celebration 'bubbly' and delicious cake was a complete surprise and a real treat. We have wondered how it has taken us quite so long to discover the Languedoc, Occitanie! From our all too brief stay we have seen some of the most beautiful countryside, enjoyed the wines and food and visited some of the prettiest towns and villages (many thanks for the suggestion of the Sunday market at Saint-Chinian - what a delight!). We have no doubt that we'll be back and thank you again so much for making us feel so welcome.
We have just returned from two weeks at La Roquette and had an amazing time. We are a group of 10, two parents, 4 adult daughters and now their partners who have been holidaying annually for 34 years now and I have to say this place is hard to beat. The setting is beautiful . Deer and hares in the fields and birds as the only sound. The house itself is so well equipped with plenty of space inside and outside to be together or to seperate and a wonderful pool which was very much needed in a heatwave of 40 degrees!! We did a wonderful vineyard tour/tasting at Domaine Bois de Devès with a lovely English wine maker, Nick Smith,and visited several recommended restaurants, the local Burger bar being a huge favourite…only 6 mins away. We will definitely return in the future when it’s cooler to explore more. Many thanks to all at Pure France, to Patricia the owner and Andrew (the pool guy) for always being on hand for questions and to help. Highly recommended!

A perfect stay for a family Christmas. Plenty of room for 10 people. Beautiful bedrooms and bathroom. A very family-friendly living room, a superb and functional kitchen. Je voulais juste vous dire à quel point nous avons passé un excellent séjour à la Maison Brunet. Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour. La maison, et surtout la cuisine, étaient parfaitement équipées pour profiter des produits locaux. La maison était impeccable à notre arrivée et les détails sont soignés. La piscine était rafraîchissante, propre et un atout précieux pendant les chaudes journées d'été. Nous étions une famille de 5 personnes avec un chien et nous avons tous passé un excellent séjour dans la maison, avec son jardin et son parc. Merci.
Nous sommes maintenant chez nous en Australie. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans votre maison. L'emplacement était parfait pour visiter la région : nous avons visité des villages, des vignobles et des villes balnéaires. Nous avons particulièrement aimé Mèze et la plage de Sète. C'était très relaxant de rentrer à la maison et de se rafraîchir avec un plongeon dans la piscine avant le dîner. Nous avons trouvé que l'emplacement de la maison était très calme, mais idéal pour sa proximité avec Pèzenas. Nous n'hésiterons pas à recommander votre belle maison à nos amis.
Parfait. Notre deuxième visite et nous espérons que ce ne sera pas la dernière. Nous lui donnerions six étoiles si nous le pouvions. Un magnifique cottage, décoré avec goût et bien équipé. Une belle piscine et un cadre paisible près d'un village où l'on peut bien manger si l'on en a assez de cuisiner. Il y a beaucoup à découvrir dans la région. Et cerise sur le gâteau, l'accueil chaleureux des propriétaires.

Large family holiday, ages varying from 2-60. Beautiful house, great outdoor area with outside pergola and table plenty big enough to sit all 13 of us which was great. As in description location is very rural so definitely need cars - supermarket is 10 mins drive away. Estelle was very helpful leading up to our holiday, and during our stay. Answering all our questions and popped by to make sure we were happy with everything. Local area very pretty, but we stayed in August and everywhere was deserted! Apparently lots of places in France shut down in August. Very well equipped house for great holiday.
Hi future guest, The couple who own the property have poured so much love into every corner of the beautiful. home that you can feel it when you stay there. The place is so much more cosy and beautifully designed than the pictures give the impression. During our stay we said we wanted to listen to music and asked if there were speakers onsite. Karen and Russell said there wasn't but then went out and bought a pair for us to use! At one point we were cooking and I borrowed some olive oil, curry powder and a chilli pepper. I wanted to get a guitar and they told me where a fabulous music shop was and I ended up purchasing a beautiful guitar. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we felt beyond welcome. The place is a bit like a fairytale place, and they made our stay beyond what we imagined. It is an oasis and a sanctuary and close to many nearby sites such as Château de Rene and others. Highly recommend staying here.
Quelle semaine incroyable nous avons passée dans votre villa ! Nous sommes venus pour fêter le 60ᵉ anniversaire de Shona et c’était l’endroit absolument parfait. Nous avons passé une semaine formidable ici : bronzer au bord de la piscine, lire dans les fauteuils en osier, cuisiner comme des chefs dans la cuisine, faire des barbecues dans la cuisine extérieure et boire du vin un peu partout !! La villa est très bien équipée avec tout le nécessaire en cuisine, beaucoup d’espace dans le réfrigérateur, un excellent Wi-Fi partout, une piscine fabuleuse et des chambres spacieuses. Philippe a été un hôte merveilleux – serviable et rapide à répondre à toutes nos questions. Nous avons adoré nos deux livraisons de petit-déjeuner, en particulier les pains personnalisés et le gâteau au gingembre ! Merci d’avoir organisé un délicieux dîner à La Tour à Montady et une belle dégustation de vin à Saint-Chinian. Les mises à jour météo étaient également très utiles. Notre chienne Ivy a elle aussi passé une belle semaine ici, avec beaucoup d’espace pour courir. Nous pensons que les chats mentionnés dans les précédents commentaires ont sagement préféré garder leurs distances pendant son séjour !! Merci encore pour tout et nous pensons déjà à revenir !
We have just spent an amazing fortnight at Maison Labarde in Lauzun hosted by Jean and Martyn. The gite is really well equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay and is cool inside, even in hot weather. Jean kindly provided many complementary extras for our arrival which was very much appreciated. A great outside kitchen with gas BBQ and additional fridge was perfect for outdoor dining and drinking! The pool was immaculate and cleaned daily by Martyn and there were various floats, water toys and inflatables available; the water temperature was just right- in fact it didn’t drop below 28 degrees for the whole fortnight. We enjoyed the extensive garden using the various seating areas available, all with parasols/ gazebo for shade if needed. It’s a lovely part of France with lots of Bastide towns to visit with markets, fetes and musical events in the summer months, as well as vineyards and châteaux for wine tastings at every turn!! Jean and Martyn were excellent hosts, friendly and informative about local events and places to visit. We have no hesitation in recommending this holiday gite and hope that we can return at some point in the future! Merci beaucoup!!

What a beautiful house, we have had a lovely holiday and enjoyed every minute. It's been amazing watching the sunset every evening and enjoying your lovely pool. Thank you for the fab tips Pascal! ‘Fresh’ is a great supermarket and Baie du Lac was lovely!
The highlights for me were swimming lengths in the warm pool, strolling around the beautiful garden with all the different types of trees (olive, fig, pomegranate etc) and exploring the delightful surrounding Provence countryside in its full glory. Despite being a large group of people, the house always felt cool and spacious and the amenities functioned perfectly. There is also a marvellous restaurant within walking distance. Thank you again for making my holiday so enjoyable.
Maison Bourriette is a wonderful place to stay! In a peaceful location it’s a perfect getaway with cool indoor spaces and beautiful tranquil outdoor spaces. The house boasts wonderful views across the valley, with many routes from the house for walks or runs. The village is a short walk away and has a well stocked traditional market, an outdoor gym for those feeling active! The artificial beach in the village also allows for swimming or relaxing and the local pizza restaurant completes the day! We have visited more than once and each stay is relaxing, with friendly, helpful hosts. We will definitely go back to this hidden gem!
