Lovely house in an ideal situation. We had a wonderful time doing a little exploring but mainly lying by the beautiful pool. It's an ideal design to sit in and cool off. Two minutes walk for croissants in the morning and Rose wine in the afternoon - the Supermarket! We agree its a 5 / 5.
Nous avons séjourné dans cette magnifique maison avec piscine avec ma famille. Tout était parfait : la maison est spacieuse, lumineuse, impeccablement propre et bien équipée. La piscine est un véritable havre de paix, idéale pour se détendre au soleil. Les hôtes ont été très chaleureux et réactifs, rendant notre séjour encore plus agréable. Je recommande vivement cette maison !
Super séjour dans une grande villa très confortable ! La piscine est très agréable. Le logement, bien équipé, est situé dans un village sympathique à bonne distance de Béziers et des stations balnéaires de la côte.
Merci beaucoup de nous avoir accueillis dans cet endroit très spécial. Nous avons absolument, complètement et totalement adoré être ici. La maison est si belle et fraîche et le jardin est absolument incroyable. Nous nous sentons tellement chanceux d'avoir pu venir nous reposer ici. Nous aimerions certainement revenir.
Très bel endroit accueil chaleureux et sympathique. Confort des chambres et salles de bain, grande piscine à disposition parfaite pour faire de l'exercice et se rafraîchir. Je recommande si vous êtes dans la région.
Fantastic 10 days at Maison Joutard. The highlights:- Fantastic welcome pack. House and garden perfect for our toddlers. Equipped with everything we needed. We visited Cognac, Bordeaux, Villefagnan. Cycling to the bakery in Verdille. Whole experience highly recommended.
Exceptionnel. Le Château de la Ronde et son parc ont été magnifiquement rénovés et entretenus. Nous avons été très bien accueillis dès notre arrivée et chaque chose a été pensée pour rendre notre séjour le plus agréable possible. La vue sur le château de Saumur depuis le château est magnifique.
The space, the history and beauty of the surroundings. The swimming pool. The range of children's toys. The bedroom arrangements in the house that was perfect for 4 families. Maps and leaflets of things to do in the locality. The fans in rooms upstairs etc etc. In all we are sad to leave!
Merci pour ces belles vacances dans votre belle maison. La piscine était parfaite tout comme le temps, nous en avons donc pleinement profité. Le coin barbecue était super aussi et le nouveau réfrigérateur-congélateur avec machine à glaçons était super. La région de Besson était parfaite à explorer sur nos vélos. Il y a encore tellement de choses à voir, donc je suis sûr que nous reviendrons.
Amazing villa, amazing view, stunning accommodation. We had an amazing 7 days stay. The house is walking distance from the village where a train can take you straight to Cannes, with top interior design and great level of service. The cleaning lady came twice a week and the garden and pool was serviced once a week. All that 30 minutes from Nice airport and top 4 golf courses. We loved it.
Perfect romantic getaway. Maison Meunier is set in the beautiful grounds, next to the old mill, overlooking the lake. The cottage is beautifully furnished and has its own patio and pool. The facilities are superb, the grounds are well manicured, lovely for walks and there is a fabulous games room where you can meet up with other guests for a drink and a chat and maybe a game of pool. A stroll into the village to sample the local fair is a must, the villagers made us very welcome. There are a number of local market towns (bastides) and châteaux close by including Monpazier a lively bastide with many shops and restaurants to enjoy. The owners were really helpful with advice on where to go and what to do, they couldn't do enough for us. Fabulous holiday.
My wife and I have been visiting France for over 20 years and The Loft is the best property we have stayed at. The photographs on the website do not do it justice. Russell and Karen have fitted out The Loft with wonderful taste and all of the bathrooms are top quality including the selection of toiletries left for their guests to use. Their attention to detail is second to none. We received an extensive welcome pack when we arrived at the house and Karen even delivered fresh pastries for breakfast on the Sunday morning from the local Boulangerie. Outside the house there is a beautiful pool and garden but the jewel in the crown is the large sheltered "porch area". This is a half open and half covered space off the front of The Loft where you can choose sun or shade during the day. The BBQ is there along with a big dining table and also sofas for relaxing. It’s a fab place to eat and drink during the day or on an evening with a lovely view of the extensive gardens. Rieux Minervois is a nice little town situated in the middle of the Minervois wine region It has a good Italian restaurant within 2 minutes walk from the house, which Karen kindly booked it for us for the night we arrived. The food was very good. The town is also well placed to visit Carcassonne, Narbonne and several of the coastal towns; we particularly enjoyed Gruissan. It is also surrounded by many other small villages with excellent restaurants if you want enjoy a lazy lunch during your holiday. Karen will even book them for you if you ask. Overall we spent a lovely week in The Languedoc. Thank you Russell and Karen for your hospitality and for going to such lengths to make our holiday so memorable.
Nous avons eu une superbe expérience: tout était préparé pour nous à l'arrivée, une magnifique propriété pour toute la famille. Une semaine n'a pas été suffisante, mais merci à la femme de ménage Vicki et à notre jardinier responsable de l'entretien de la piscine John, ils ont été extrêmement gentils et rien n'était jamais trop leur demander. Le golf à cinq minutes était un fantastique cadeau d'anniversaire, un beau parcours avec tennis au sein du club de golf. Des vacances incroyables, un sans faute, que je recommanderais certainement. 10 sur 10.
Température de l'eau fantastique. Il n'y a pas grand-chose à ajouter aux critiques précédentes, à part dire merci Denise et Michael pour cette excellente semaine. Pouvoir marcher directement de la maison jusqu'à la piscine sans avoir à se préparer à la température de l'eau était fantastique ! L'appartement était magnifique avec une réelle attention aux détails et bien sûr, tout était impeccable.
Merci encore de nous avoir permis de découvrir votre belle maison - nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances et avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour au Domaine de Nérige, la maison a dépassé nos attentes, tant par le style, le confort et l'emplacement. Votre repas préparé pour le dîner était merveilleux! Les magasins LeClerc avaient tout ce dont nous avions besoin, les vignobles à proximité étaient super et très accueillants, Carcassonne était fascinante, Limoux était vraiment sympa et faire du vélo le long du Canal de Midi était délicieux - mais revenir à la maison en fin de journée était tellement relaxant et le point culminant! Nous espérons revenir avec un peu de chance un jour.
Une fois de plus, nous avons passé un merveilleux moment ici, dans votre belle maison. C'était tellement agréable de revenir ici. Le temps a été magnifique, la piscine fantastique et nous nous sommes énormément amusés ! Un grand merci à Frédéric pour avoir embelli la piscine ! Nous aimerions tous revenir un jour. Merci!
Thank you so much for arranging our stay in Maison Augustin. The house was marvellous and ideal for our family of 14. Four children, three partners and five grandchildren, ranging from 10 months to twenty years. They all thought it was a great location. In rural France but with a bar a couple of hundred metres away! The pool was much used by one and all with a ceremonial whole family jump on the last night (excluding 10 month old Alice!)
Comme les locataires précédents, nous avons apprécié le calme, la piscine, le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse avec la jolie vue sur les vignes et la garrigue, les couchers de soleil si différents chaque jour. Nous avons particulièrement été sensibles aux très belles prestations pour cette maison au calme pour se retrouver en famille. La piscine est très grande et avec une vue imprenable sur la nature et les vignes. La région est très belle et les alentours en valent la peine Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances et Marie qui vous accueille est très agréable. Christiane, la propriétaire est au petit soin pour que votre séjour se passe au mieux. Les équipements dans la maison que se soit mobiliers ou coin cuisine sont au top.
We had a wonderful week at Manoir Coutenson. The spacious house is very well equipped. The swimming pool is incredibly warm and the children (even the baby) spent hours in it. The shaded area by the pool was essential as the weather was really hot. We loved the area. It is fairly rural but with easy access to the town. The house is very child friendly with toys, high chairs and plastic bowls and plates and lots of pool accessories. All of which were appreciated by our 5 grandchildren. A fabulous, relaxing holiday. Un lieu idéal pour passer des vacances en famille ou entre amis. La maison est exposée de telle sorte qu'on a le soleil toute la journée avec d'un côté la vue sur le chateau et de l'autre sur la vallée, La cuisine d'été près de la piscine nous a permis de nous restaurer du matin au soir mais on a pu aussi prendre le petit-déjeuner dans la cour avec le soleil levant et de dîners sur la terrasse aux lumières du soleil couchant. La maison est très grande et bien équipée, les chambres sont spacieuses et tout est décoré avec goût. On a apprécié la proximité du village accessible à pieds très rapidement mais aussi découvrir la région en voiture. Un séjour royal dans un endroit majestueux où l'on s'est pris au jeu de faire une soirée sur le thème "la vie de chateau". A votre tour de jouer les châtelains.
What a wonderful stay we have had and what a special part of France! Olonzac market on a Tuesday was a real highlight. Kayaking at Puicheric was so much fun and the water was crystal clear for swimming. Narbonne and the market was quite a spectacle - such a fun and varied trip. Thank you for all the tips and for lending us your beautiful Loft.

We spent 10 days with 8 people (children, grandchildren ) and our dog in À Côté de L'O. The summer heat was well tolerated thanks to the pool and air conditioning. The space is even more generous than it appears on the photos. A huge fenced garden right on the Canal. Narbonne, Gruissan, Bages... many beautiful experiences are easy to reach by car. The location in beautiful Le Somail. The early morning round for dog bathing at the Cesse. Shopping fresh croissants and baguettes on the Épicerie - boat. All in all : perfect!
Had a wonderful stay with 3 families here! Enjoyed the pool and the outdoor terrace a lot!
Nous voulions juste vous remercier pour cette belle semaine dans votre belle maison. C'est un endroit magique et nous en avons déjà de bons souvenirs. Merci d'avoir fait en sorte que Suzanne cuisine pour nous. Ses dîners ont été un franc succès et ses sorbets surprises ont suscité l'intrigue les deux soirs ! Nous espérons revenir à l'avenir et nous avons hâte de vous revoir.
A fabulous setting for our family gathering. Some of us were here for two weeks some for one. We all enjoyed it thoroughly, the swimming pool was so restful, it was great for keeping cool, the children loved it. The outside seating being undercover was great as we ate out every night, we were able to watch an amazing lighting show one evening. The beds were very comfy, fans in the room was a real plus as the nights were hot, lots of bathrooms for a big group was also a plus. Some of us had been here a few years ago and it didn't disappoint, we would love to come back again, we loved your well stocked and very clean home
I just wanted to say that we all found your house to be absolutely lovely. Everything we could have hoped for. So many nice touches, you clearly put a lot of thought and no doubt effort into making it a very special place. We especially loved the pool of course, which has such a great design for the little ones with the shallow section, but we loved the whole place. Everyone was very happy there. Many thanks
Spent a wonderful and relaxing 2 weeks in this villa last year and have just booked to return again this summer. The villa is modern, spacious and very well equipped and with internet and satellite it fully met the needs of our teenagers. The outdoor area with pool is beautiful, well maintained and private. The location is within walking distance of the lovely village of Fitou and a short drive to the beaches and many other attractions. Communication with the owner Julie has been prompt, easy and helpful. We would highly recommend this villa and are looking forward to our next visit!
