Nous avons choisi cette propriété pour sa piscine et son espace extérieur et nous n'avons pas été déçus. C'est un endroit magnifique qui a rendu nos vacances si spéciales. Tout est si bien entretenu et les propriétaires ont pensé à tant de choses. On voit qu'ils en sont très fiers. Nous avons adoré utiliser la machine à café et la confiture maison était délicieuse. Nous avons adoré nos barbecues du soir sur la terrasse sous l'auvent, mais sauter et jouer dans la piscine était le top. Des souvenirs pour toute une vie. Merci beaucoup.
Quel endroit merveilleux où séjourner: maison, piscine, nuits étoilées et boulangerie à 5 minutes. Notre grande famille a passé un moment tellement agréable ici. Avec des températures de près de 40°C, le château était encore frais mais c'était triste de voir les effets de la sécheresse/urgence climatique partout. Les oiseaux avaient besoin d'eau tous les jours ! Chevreuils au bord de la piscine, orvets et bien plus encore.
Nous avons passé des vacances fantastiques aux Granels, les meilleures à ce jour !
Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful house - we have all enjoyed the beautiful home and gardens and all the attention to detail. We very much enjoyed the night market in Laparade although not really a market but more a fiesta! Very much recommend. A fantastic stay and wonderful house!
Très belle maison propre et bien équipé. Nous avons passé une superbe semaine (4 adultes et 5 enfants). Magifique piscine, une grande salle de jeux très agréable. Nous recommandons cette maison sans hésiter.
Fabulous Villa and location We've been coming to the south of France for year and specifically to this area and to Seillans for the last 5 years... and this villa is as good as we have ever stayed. The villa is impeccably kept, extremely comfortable and has the most magnificent views. Everything in the villa is as advertised and works well. The restaurants of Seillans are a short walk away. Although the town itself unfortunately has no boulangerie or patisserie, Fayence is only a 5 minute drive away and has a great one of those, plus a boucherie / charcuterie around the corner, both of which are close to the big Super U supermarket. The terrace and pool are East-facing. We were worried that in the photos it looked like there was little shade provided but with the big awnings for the terrace and a few parasols for the pool, finding shade from the morning sun was not a problem. We love this area for the beautiful mountain villages (seillans, Callian, Tourrettes etc) but the ease of getting around in the largely flat area south of those villages so you can get to Cannes, Grasse and the beaches. We (4 adults - 2 generations) spent a fantastic week in this super gîte. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and extremely well equipped. Outside, in the very large garden, was the lovely pool which was cleaned daily. The outside kitchen was lovely for BBQ's. There were also lots of seating areas, shaded and sunny, we were spoilt for choice. We walked to the bakery in the morning as the gîte is close to the village. The lovely owners were welcoming and helpful. Happy to recommend.
La température de la piscine était de 28°C à 30°C en octobre ! Tout nous a très bien satisfait aux Fumerates. Les lits et les draps étaient vraiment confortables, l a cuisine était bien équipée. Les propriétaires étaient très gentils et serviables. L'emplacement est bon pour explorer la Côte d'Azur. Je recommanderais d'avoir une voiture pour rendre cela beaucoup plus facile. La chose la plus importante pour nous (avec deux enfants) était la piscine chauffée avec une belle vue. La piscine était grande, propre et très chaude. Lors de notre séjour de six jours en octobre, la température de la piscine était de 28°c à 30°c ! De jour comme de nuit, un tel plaisir. Vous avez un endroit incroyable, merci beaucoup de le partager avec les autres aussi.
Thomas a été irréprochable de la réservation au départ. 10/10. Merci Thomas ! Nous avons passé un un très bon séjour à la villa. Un grand merci à Thomas pour son accueil et son accompagnement tout au long de notre séjour. La villa est superbe et très bien aménagée: la cuisine est idéale pour un groupe. Les chambres sont décorées avec goût et offrent des prestations d'un bel hôtel. Les vacances sont passées trop vite !
Nous avons passé une semaine agréable en profitant de cette belle maison et de la piscine, des petits-déjeuners et des barbecues à l'extérieur. Nous avons eu une météo très variable mais cela nous a permis de découvrir Périgueux et Saint-Émilion. Nous recommandons vivement Aubeterre et le bar Brasserie de Verteillac Le Calice. A fantastic week exploring the area, with the beautiful house to retreat to. The local markets have been wonderful, with lots of delicious food which has been enjoyed in the surroundings of Le Malardier. The other highlights have been visiting Aubeterre, canoeing and a trip to the Chateaux. A magnificent week.
Nous avons vraiment adoré notre séjour au Château Des Grillauds. C'était le summum de nos vacances en Europe cet été. Cette propriété est pleine de caractère, bien équipée et confortable avec beaucoup de chambres et d'espace. Nous avons adoré l'emplacement avec de très bons marchés locaux presque tous les jours et il se trouve à moins d'une heure de Bordeaux et de vignobles remarquables tout en étant très central dans la Dordogne. Nos enfants ont adoré la piscine chauffée et maintenue à 30°C. Nous recommandons cette propriété à tout le monde. Merci beaucoup.
Spacious and beautiful house and grounds. Shaded areas a welcome balance. Very child and baby friendly. Lovely pool. Everything thought of and provided for a 3 generation family. Toys / DVDs / Books perfectly stocked. Playroom and comfortable seating a huge bonus. The WII very much appreciated! Food delicious and in perfect quantities. Very helpful to have options - prepared and / or catered. Thoughtful and considerate catering for children.
Steven and Bruce have a fantastic place and they really went the extra mile to make our stay totally enjoyable. We've been staying at places in France for 20 or so years and we always come back fairly pleased, but perhaps with one or two thoughts about how something or other could have been better, but I think this is the first time we've come back and been unable to think of anything that was less than perfect.
This is an idyllic luxury dream. A tranquil abode where resistance against rest and relaxation is futile. Welcoming in 2022 with Kate, Frans, their family and friends felt like home away from home with immediate family. They have created a home where you can freely engage in the beauty of this corner of France in an easthetic space curated to the highest level. We could class them as more than 'friends' - and definitely as 'MTFS'. The only antidote to departing is to plot the return and this has already begun.
Merci beaucoup pour cet agréable et relaxant séjour dans votre maison. Nous avons attendu quelques années à cause du covid et nos garçons (et nous-mêmes) ont vraiment apprécié notre séjour. Vous nous avez si bien accueillis et nous avons beaucoup aimé passer du temps dans votre jardin à observer les visiteurs réguliers comme les pics, les buses et les chouettes effraies, etc. Nous prévoyons déjà de revenir et promettons de visiter davantage la région. Merci pour votre aimable hospitalité et ce fut un plaisir de rencontrer votre famille en visite. Si nous pouvions emporter la piscine et le hamac chez nous, nous le ferions ! Merci encore.
Nous avons vraiment apprécié nos vacances à la Maison Cabanon. C'était très calme mais assez proche de la ville, parfait pour des vacances en famille. Nous avons eu la chance de bénéficier d'un temps magnifique et les enfants ont vraiment apprécié la piscine et le fait d'être ensemble dans la chambre avec les lits superposés. Les installations de la maison sont d'un niveau bien supérieur à celles des villas habituelles. Un véritable second chez-soi.

Le catalyseur parfait de l’une de nos meilleures semaines. Notre deuxième séjour dans cette belle maison et encore une fois, nous nous sommes bien amusés !
Nous avons passé un autre agréable séjour à ce cher Malardier. Il nous manquera l'été prochain mais nous reviendrons c'est certain.

Went to this beautiful holiday cottage for the second time. What a great experience again this time. We were warmly welcomed and our house felt like coming home again. Host and hostess Leo and Esther gave us great tips so that our holiday became a great experience again. The visit to Nîmes was impressively beautiful. I especially recommend visiting Avignon to everyone with its beautiful center and the cozy terraces around the market square. The swimming pool overlooking the vineyards is a pearl. The silence descends on you wonderfully in the evening. Truly unique. Thank you for another great holiday.
We have had a wonderful relaxed and fun week here at Le Manoir de Duras. It has felt like a home from home. All the practical equipment to making things smooth and lots of games and books to enjoy as the days go by. Thank you to the owners for a lovely family week. A real holiday.
We enjoyed every aspect of our stay here. The villa is light, airy and spacious. It was immaculately clean, comfortable, everything worked and there are beautiful views from the upstairs terrace. The garden is very attractive. We loved having four bathrooms. The booking process was easy and efficient. We were confident that if there had been a problem, Ian, the very pleasant property manager who lives nearby, would have quickly sorted it out. The newly installed Wi-Fi was very dependable. With the restaurants in the village and the beach not too far away we didn't need to travel very far from the house - besides, the garden and pool were too good to leave for long! There are also some lovely walks in the hills behind the villa. The heated pool was the icing on the cake as we could swim on the couple of cooler days too. Even my 85 year old mum went in. We would have no hesitation in recommending this villa and we would love to return.
Quel endroit absolument incroyable ! Les propriétaires étaient extrêmement accueillants et aux petits soins pour nous durant notre séjour. Le château et son domaine invitent à la détente dès l'arrivée. On y trouve de l'espace à profusion et tout le confort nécessaire. Un lieu incontournable pour des vacances réussies.
We had a wonderful stay at the beautiful Maison Des Vignobles. The house was very comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. It is in a beautiful and quiet setting amongst the vineyards with wonderful views. We spent our days in the pool, kayaking on the river and exploring the local towns. The owner was on hand should we need anything and was very helpful with recommendations and bookings. It was a perfect choice for our family holiday.
Nous avons apprécié célébrer notre 25ème anniversaire de mariage ici au Domaine de Nérige avec famille et amis. Fantastique est le seul mot pour décrire la maison et la région.
I can only agree wholeheartedly with what Sue and Mike have written. You have a lovely home and I have really enjoyed my stay here. The weather could have been better but you more than made up for it with your company. Thank you so much and good luck for the future. Hopefully I will be back to listen to more of Russell's stories!
