What a fantastic week we had a . The house is beautiful and we loved the attention to detail.
We have enjoyed every moment of our holiday here. We wanted to get away from our busy lives in London…and we did! Lounging by the pool or in hammocks, followed by evenings with delicious BBQs. Pézenas is a sweet little town with great places to eat and shop. Visit the market on Saturday for an explosion of the senses! We can't wait wait to return next summer.
We had a fabulous holiday in Villa Pey de la Salle. The villa was lovely and so was the weather!
Just a little note to say thank you so much for our lovely, restful, peaceful stay in your beautiful Loft. We're sure you saw we were well and truly exhausted after a summer running events - the Loft was THE PERFECT ANTIDOTE! All the little touches were noted and appreciated by us both and we spent a lovely evening enjoying many aperitifs with you. Many, many heartfelt thanks again. It certainly isn't Au Revoir - but A Bientot!
Merci beaucoup pour cet agréable et relaxant séjour dans votre maison. Nous avons attendu quelques années à cause du covid et nos garçons (et nous-mêmes) ont vraiment apprécié notre séjour. Vous nous avez si bien accueillis et nous avons beaucoup aimé passer du temps dans votre jardin à observer les visiteurs réguliers comme les pics, les buses et les chouettes effraies, etc. Nous prévoyons déjà de revenir et promettons de visiter davantage la région. Merci pour votre aimable hospitalité et ce fut un plaisir de rencontrer votre famille en visite. Si nous pouvions emporter la piscine et le hamac chez nous, nous le ferions ! Merci encore.

An oasis of peace and tranquility, beautiful sunshine, loved the pool and spectacular veiws. Nyons is a charming place with a great market, we had a delicious meal at the Charette bleu. We feel rested and restored, thank you.

Perfect! Our stay in the L’Ancienne Etable was 5 star. Jane and Richard have thought of everything to make this the perfect pad for two. Peaceful and relaxing, we would highly recommend and hope to return again soon.
Nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances à la villa. La villa est idéale, spacieuse et joliment décorée. Les enfants ont adoré la piscine et la table de ping-pong ! C'est une base idéale pour visiter la région. Le marché de Pézenas est à ne pas manquer. Nous avons navigué sur bateau, monté des chevaux, loué des vélos à Marseillan et vu des flamants roses ! We really like the idea of returning to Les Jumelles. We loved it and have such fond memories of our time there. Our children really loved the pool and the beautiful garden, with space for all the activities including table tennis, badminton, and football.
We enjoyed a very special week in this outstanding house in the beautiful Burgundy Region. We would, of course, highly recommend it for wine enthusiasts (a topic about which we learned a lot!) but it also worked very well for us as a venue for an extended family get together. The experience was enhanced further by taking up the option of a 5 course catered dinner in the house one night which was absolutely first class.
What an amazing place and fantastic hosts, Hugh and Ian have given our family the perfect holiday. Thank you so much. The kids said the pool is amazing and really loved the salt water which didn't make there eyes sting like normal chlorinated pools. Oscar your adorable dog was also a big plus for Lara!
Je voulais juste dire à quel point nous avons apprécié nos vacances à la villa. Elle était impeccable et parfaitement située pour accéder au supermarché, à la pâtisserie, aux plages et à de nombreux restaurants de qualité et à quelques pas de la gare - que nous avons fréquentée la plupart du temps pour aller visiter d'autres stations balnéaires. La villa était considérablement plus grande que ce à quoi nous nous attendions et était bien équipée pour notre séjour. L'emplacement résidentiel calme était un avantage après des journées bien remplies. Dans l’ensemble, c’est une propriété parfaite. Merci beaucoup.
C'était notre sixième visite à la Maison Baleyssagues - c'est vraiment un endroit parfait où séjourner ! La villa était aussi confortable et élégante que les précédentes vacances, avec de nombreuses nouvelles touches élégantes que nous avons appréciées. Il y a tout ce dont une famille peut avoir besoin, des jeux et des livres à une magnifique nouvelle cuisine en passant par un terrain fantastique pour se promener et où jouer. La piscine en particulier a été bien utilisée car il faisait très chaud lors de notre visite. C'est un bel endroit pour nager et se détendre. La campagne environnante est magnifique et offre de nombreux endroits amusants et intéressants à visiter avec d'excellents restaurants à proximité. Nos préférés sont La Terrasse à Duras et le Restaurant Italien Des Arcades à Eymet. Le marché nocturne de Duras vaut également le détour pour déguster des vins et des plats locaux. C'était notre sixième visite à la villa mais ce ne sera pas la dernière !

Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse dans ce magnifique château. Le cadre est splendide et les équipements sont impeccables. Les enfants ont adoré la grande piscine, et surtout le plongeoir. Nous serions ravis de revenir. Merci.
We recently returned from a week's holiday at Maison Palatini in Pézenas. We had a wonderful time.
The space, the history and beauty of the surroundings. The swimming pool. The range of children's toys. The bedroom arrangements in the house that was perfect for 4 families. Maps and leaflets of things to do in the locality. The fans in rooms upstairs etc etc. In all we are sad to leave!
Our stay at La Petite Maison Générille was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, the hosts welcomed us with warmth and genuine hospitality, making us feel instantly at home. The property itself is breathtaking - a perfect balance of elegance and nature. The beautifully maintained gardens, softly illuminated in the evenings, create a romantic and serene atmosphere, while the untouched woodland adds a sense of tranquility and adventure. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, from the luxurious accommodations to the stunning swimming pool overlooking the picturesque landscape. Whether we were exploring the nearby historic villages, indulging in the region’s incredible food and wine, or simply relaxing on the terrace, every moment felt special. La Petite Maison Générille is more than just a place to stay - it's an experience, one that lingers long after you leave. We can't wait to return!
We had an amazing stay! The beds were very comfortable and the pool is incredible! Lunch time on the terrace was a highlight as it's so peaceful. Overall the stay was absolutely incredible and we loved every minute we were here.
We adore this house - it is our third visit this year! The atmosphere here is so conducive to being happy and relaxed. Les Baquiés are the most agreeable hosts in the world.
Perfect stay. A very high quality renovation where stone blends with wood and contemporary furniture. A huge and ideal porch for dinner, barbecue and admire the countryside and hillsides on one side and a pool enchanted in this "Provencal farmhouse" on the other. Very high quality amenities and bedding. The sober and neat decoration with touches of contemporary art ensures a soothing balance and conducive to rest. A spacious cathedral living room with a stunning solid wood table. Here and there, small details in the amenities and decor (a special mention in the toilet of the master suite, I'll let you discover it). In addition, Christophe is very friendly and very attentive to his hosts. In short, this stay in the countryside between two seas delighted us all.
We spent a beautiful 2 weeks here! We felt at home in this fabulous house. La Baie du Lac was a real favourite. We really hope to return.
What a truly wonderful place!! Although the photos show a beautiful place, they do not do justice to the reality, which was perfection. The chateau, its grounds and the location are all outstanding and so big! Lots of walks and places to explore. Gaelle, the host, was there if we needed, answering emails very quickly and offering help and recommendations . We were a party of 15 with ages from 3 to 73. Everyone felt comfortable and well catered for. A perfect holiday!
The place is exactly as described - spacious and yet warm and comfortable. Highly recommend
