Merci pour votre accueil chaleureux. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, la maison est très agréable. Les salles de bains privatives sont un vrai plus, tout comme l'utilisation du sauna et du jacuzzi. Nous reviendrons!

Hi future guest, The couple who own the property have poured so much love into every corner of the beautiful. home that you can feel it when you stay there. The place is so much more cosy and beautifully designed than the pictures give the impression. During our stay we said we wanted to listen to music and asked if there were speakers onsite. Karen and Russell said there wasn't but then went out and bought a pair for us to use! At one point we were cooking and I borrowed some olive oil, curry powder and a chilli pepper. I wanted to get a guitar and they told me where a fabulous music shop was and I ended up purchasing a beautiful guitar. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we felt beyond welcome. The place is a bit like a fairytale place, and they made our stay beyond what we imagined. It is an oasis and a sanctuary and close to many nearby sites such as Château de Rene and others. Highly recommend staying here.
First things first - Karen, Russell and the girls (Mack and Mabel) are wonderful hosts. Warm, friendly, thoughtful and yet discreet. They love what they're doing and it shows as nothing is too much trouble. Their enthusiasm for their ventures (current and future) is infectious. Secondly is the 'Loft du Vigneron' - a fabulous property offering everything - and more - that you could hope for. Karen and Russell's sense of style has been imprinted on it and their attention to detail has left nothing wanting. Every comfort has been considered from the fabulous welcoming pack to 'The White Company' range of toiletries. The terrace was our favourite place with the sun streaming through the roof and the warm breeze cooling us down. Rieux-Minervois is a typical French village and perfectly situated to explore the entire Minervois region from Carcassonne in the West, East to the Mediterranean, and all the lovely historical villages North and South. In conclusion, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful property with the perfect hosts - highly recommended without hesitation. Our very best wishes for every success in you new venture. Magnifique villa, belle piscine et emplacement parfait ! Nous venons de passer une merveilleuse semaine aux Fumerates. Nous avons reçu un accueil chaleureux de la part de Michael et Denise et l'attention portée aux détails dans la propriété était irréprochable avec du savon, des gels douche, des dosettes de café et bien plus encore, l'ensemble encore amélioré par des lits confortables, la climatisation et une présentation impeccable. Nous avons adoré le caractère de la propriété et son superbe aménagement. La fantastique piscine à débordement a été le cadre de beaux souvenirs passés assis sur la terrasse pour un repas ou un verre, puis à plonger dans l'eau magnifique et à admirer la vue imprenable. Nous nous sommes également amusés sur le toboggan et le plongeoir et nous sommes détendus en flottant sur les transats confortables de la piscine. Les Fumerates sont idéalement placés pour visiter des endroits comme Nice, prendre le bus au bout de la route fonctionnait parfaitement et n'étaient qu'à 15 minutes en voiture de l'aéroport ! Nous avons également visité Monaco, Antibes, Saint-Tropez et Port Grimaud, mais l'un des points forts a été la courte promenade jusqu'au village magique de Saint-Paul-de-Vence pour y prendre un verre et un repas. Nous y avons passé l'une de nos meilleures vacances à ce jour et nous y reviendrons certainement !

A really wonderful hot week in this gorgeous house. The kids spent hours in the pool and the spacious garden. Thank you so much, we had a really memorable week.
The house is beyond what we had imagined with the photos. It is spacious, very spacious, more than ideal for the group of 7 with 2 children that we were. The renovation is perfect, of exemplary cleanliness and with a very good taste decoration. The pool and its terrace are just beautiful and offered us very pleasant afternoons and evenings. The little plus, is that you can easily close the doors going to the pool for the safety of the little ones and the tranquility of parents. A dining area on another terrace with barbecue and large table also seduced us. The location of the house is also perfect, along the canal with the small typical village with many very nice restaurants. We really enjoyed the Escale and the glacier adjoining the restaurant... In short, a great place that we recommend 200%, not to mention the kind and availability of the owners.
The house and the grounds were fantastic. The rooms were all spacious and we particularly appreciated the bedroom set up with interlinking rooms from the nursery. We really enjoyed exploring the grounds and went for walks/runs. The children loved exploring the forest area The swimming pool was fantastic. Loungers etc. comfortable. The kids loved the swings, etc + the playroom was well stocked. Everything we needed was here. Catering service was delicious and we really appreciate you taking into account the intolerances. Very friendly service, nothing was too much to ask. The owners are never on top of us but there if needed. Much appreciated. Fantastic holiday, thank you.
Loved the location and the winding lane down to the property. Arrived to find a hidden and very private garden that was wonderfully lit at night and with a beautiful pool. Total silence and never saw or heard another person in the week we were there. If you’re looking for a quiet week away from the hassles of a hectic world, then this is the place for you!
Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour à la Maison Estephe et avons pensé que le village et ses environs étaient l'un des plus beaux endroits où nous soyons allés en France. Au fil des années, nous sommes allés dans presque tous les départements de France mais jamais à Pézenas. En fait, cela nous a tellement plu que nous envisageons de quitter le Limousin pour la région de Pézenas. La maison était charmante et très confortable en effet.
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette belle maison dans la plus belle région. Nous avons nagé, joué au ping-pong et au jeu de 'Cartes contre l'Humanité'! Nous sommes tous montés dans la tour de la forteresse et avons fait du kayak dans les rapides! Merci à vous toutes, Henrietta, Magali et Elodie, pour ce séjour des plus fantastiques - un accueil tout aussi charmant et chaleureux.
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette propriété. Tout était conforme à nos attentes et même mieux. Les propriétaires, Benedict et Pierre Balteau, étaient très sympathiques et accueillants. Nous avons hâte de revenir ici lors de notre prochaine visite dans le Languedoc, en Occitanie et nous recommanderons certainement cette propriété à nos amis et à notre famille. You have created the best house in Collioure ! We have had the most relaxing holiday and enjoyed every moment. Wonderful views - lovely sea and beaches and excellent restaurants.

Thanks for a truly wonderful week. The house, garden and pool are really fabulous. We had a wonderfully relaxing time and didn't do as much exploring as we should have done as we couldn't tear ourselves away from the garden / pool. Don't miss Friday evening in Pézenas with the high street market, food, wine and music.
Beautiful French villa in the heart of Provence. Great Villa with an amazing panoramic view. I enjoyed the open space layout of the house, the ample kitchen fully equipped, the modern amenities and the overall functionality of the house. Outside on the large terrace we had many sunset dinners sipping rose wine. We also spent a lot of time in the pool. Central to beaches, shopping centres, restaurants, historic landmarks, airports etc. Prompt response from the owners for anything you needed. Overall great experience. Highly recommend it.
We have just spent an amazing fortnight at Maison Labarde in Lauzun hosted by Jean and Martyn. The gite is really well equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay and is cool inside, even in hot weather. Jean kindly provided many complementary extras for our arrival which was very much appreciated. A great outside kitchen with gas BBQ and additional fridge was perfect for outdoor dining and drinking! The pool was immaculate and cleaned daily by Martyn and there were various floats, water toys and inflatables available; the water temperature was just right- in fact it didn’t drop below 28 degrees for the whole fortnight. We enjoyed the extensive garden using the various seating areas available, all with parasols/ gazebo for shade if needed. It’s a lovely part of France with lots of Bastide towns to visit with markets, fetes and musical events in the summer months, as well as vineyards and châteaux for wine tastings at every turn!! Jean and Martyn were excellent hosts, friendly and informative about local events and places to visit. We have no hesitation in recommending this holiday gite and hope that we can return at some point in the future! Merci beaucoup!!
We've rented a lot of other villa, châteaux and domaines, but this one was the best! The six ensuite bedrooms were all the same size and had the same amenities so none of the six couples had a less than optimal room as we've experienced in other rentals. The two on-site staff were wonderful and spoke perfect English (they're Irish so not a surprise). The location in Burgundy was perfect for day trips. If you book this rental, you'll be delighted!

Great house, pictures on the website don't do it justice. Fantastic feeling of being in the middle of nowhere, even though you are not. Great supermarket around the corner.
Nous séjournons dans des gîtes et des villas en France depuis de très nombreuses années et le Mas des Rivailles est l'une des meilleures adresses. Très propre, confortable avec tout en place pour passer de belles vacances reposantes. La piscine était super mais n'a pas été utilisée autant que nous l'aurions souhaité en raison du temps pendant les deux semaines que nous y avons passées. Le pack de bienvenue a été une surprise inattendue et très appréciée. Frédéric était serviable et informatif, tout comme nos sympathiques voisins (qui ne parlaient pas anglais), mais cela nous a donné l'occasion de pratiquer notre français limité. De jolis petits villages à visiter et de bons restaurants, Clément à Lauzun était un favori. Je recommande pleinement cette propriété.
Nous avons passé une excellente semaine à la Maison Lemance en août. Nous étions deux familles avec des enfants adultes et nos partenaires, mais il y avait encore beaucoup d'espace pour tout le monde. Le grand jardin et la terrasse étaient idéaux pour dîner à l'extérieur et se détendre autour de la piscine au soleil, ainsi que pour des activités plus énergiques telles que le tennis de table, le badminton et la pétanque. Sans pollution lumineuse, il y avait de superbes étoiles la nuit. La maison était bien équipée pour accueillir et répondre aux besoins de notre grand groupe. Pour ceux qui voulaient s'éloigner de la piscine, il y avait beaucoup à faire, notamment des marchés nocturnes animés et des excursions à Bergerac et Cahors. Sam était une hôte formidable et a été très serviable et arrangeante avant et pendant notre séjour.
