We arrived at this delightful house to a warm welcome the property owners…Our French is woefully inadequate but the owner speaks English so our introduction to La Maison Monségur was easily understood. The house is as advertised, lots of spacious rooms, clean and the beds were comfortable. We were 3 couples and though the village centre was literally down the road with several restaurants we actually ended up cooking most evenings and making use of the terrace and its dining table, we are all enthusiastic cooks and found the kitchen very adequate... the market on Friday is definitely not to be missed, there is a great artisan boulangerie in the centre and a small supermarket within walking distance from the house. We visit the area again we would 100 % consider booking La Maison Monségur again.
Wow what a villa! Absolutely fabulous week's holiday. 4 adults and 2 young children. The pool was a great thing to have with the grandchildren loving every moment in it. Weather has been very hot so very much appreciated the a/c in the bedrooms! Thank you Pascal for being there when needed. We cannot recommend this villa and its location highly enough. Like others before us, we would love to think we may return one day. Just to say, 1 of us drove over 1,000 miles to be here and it was worth every long one of them.
Nous sommes venus à la Maison Baleyssagues tant de fois et encore une fois, ce fut un moment merveilleux. Il y a tellement de choses pour s'y divertir et rassembler la famille. Je ne veux pas partir mais je dois rentrer à la maison.
Thank you for your warm welcome and kind hospitality. Such a beautiful house in a perfect position - view, outlook and peace. Though we have visited France many times... We were particularly charmed by Uzès. We hope that all of your future guests will be as impressed as we have been.
Un havre de paix idyllique dans la campagne gersoise. La chambre était d'un confort exceptionnel et offrait une vue imprenable sur les vignes. Notre hôte, David, nous a préparé un repas exceptionnel le soir de notre arrivée, ainsi qu'un petit-déjeuner français composé de fruits, de yaourts, de pain, de croissants, de fromage et de délicieuses confitures chaque matin. Il a également été d'une grande aide pour nous conseiller sur la région, les choses à voir et les restaurants. Une chambre d'hôte chaleureuse et accueillante. À recommander sans hésiter.
Our family had a fabulous week at your property. The house, the region, the food, the wine - all were typically perfect and in keeping with expectations. Additionally, Pure France.com left no stone unturned and precisely described the property in all its detail - a comforting insurance we have come to rely upon over our last three holidays. For a family or couple wishing to see this area of Provence, I could not recommend it more.
Une merveilleuse semaine passée dans cette magnifique villa. Nous avons passé un moment très agréable à visiter le Château de Monbazillac, Montcaret et Bordeaux. Nous avons tous passé un moment fantastique à la piscine. Les enfants ne voulaient pas en sortir ! Merci à Frédéric pour son accueil chaleureux à notre arrivée. Nous serions ravis de revenir.
L'une des plus belles locations de vacances que nous ayons jamais eues : la maison, l'ameublement intérieur, la piscine, le terrain, tout est exceptionnel. De l'accueil chaleureux, informatif et intéressant de Bruno, le gardien, au message de départ amical de Victoire, cette location est irréprochable. Nous reviendrions à la propriété sans hésiter un instant pour d'autres vacances. Pour quiconque voyage dans cette région, cette propriété est l'une des meilleures locations disponibles : la meilleure qualité à tous points de vue.

We were blown away by the stylish and lovingly-renovated accommodation and enjoyed spending our time here very much. We are a family of two adults and three teens and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Le Somail! The house was very well equipped with everything we needed and there was plenty of space inside and out. The pool area is very sheltered and private - having the pool to cool us down on the hottest of days was certainly appreciated! We enjoyed being so close to the canal and seeing the boats sailing past, it’s a beautiful location. There is a good selection of places to eat and drink within a few minutes walk of the house, yet the house was very peaceful and we were never disturbed by any noise from the restaurant next door. There were plenty of activities within an easy driving distance to keep us all amused for the duration of our stay including lakes, beaches and shopping. We hope we can return again, thank you for a wonderful holiday.
Thank you for a lovely week in Piglet. We were so pleased when Piglet was available for one of our weeks in France this summer. It was great coming here for a second time - felt like coming home. Thanks for your fabulous hospitality. Having toured around when we were here last year, we planned to be pretty local this week. Luckily the weather aligned meaning we could have warm, lazy days by the pool reading, playing games and family time. We loved revisiting the local bars and restaurant and loved our evening at the creperie. Thank you for the wine and cake.
From the garden the mountain and surrounding vine yards are blindingly beautiful, the day beds under the fig tree was my favourite place over looking the pool and could spend all day there. The whole house is fantastic and the interior also, I absolutely loved it, thank you for these two great weeks,

Séjour extra dans un cadre idyllique! Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour d'une semaine en famille. Les hôtes sont charmants et très disponibles. La maison est très agréable à vivre et la literie excellente! La piscine est superbe, le pool house également... en clair, une semaine parfaite!
Nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans votre magnifique maison de vacances. Nous avons adoré le mobilier et la décoration, notamment les cartes ! Le côté des collines est tout simplement génial ! Nous avons marché dans les environs et sommes toujours revenus dans cette superbe maison avec une piscine fantastique. Merci pour tout.
Nous avons passé une semaine sous une chaleur accablante, et la piscine étincelante était accessible quotidiennement. Thonac est proche de plusieurs autres villes et villages charmants, et le restaurant en plein air de l'hôtel est agréable et propose une cuisine savoureuse. Le gîte est très bien équipé et dispose d'un jardin accueillant. C'était un endroit parfait pour nos vacances.
We have had a brilliant stay - The villa is fantastic- kids have spent house in the pool and learning to play pool. Everyone has enjoyed it so much it feels a real wrench to leave. Hope we can visit again some time.

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your fantastic home! After a warm welcome we managed to settle down to enjoy all the facilities and the actual location of this beautiful area. We've had a fantastic holiday in this superb villa. We had great weather, food and wine! The villa is a really good base for visiting the Languedoc, Occitanie - we went to Carcassonne, Sète, Montpeyroux, Saint-Guilhem-le-Desert amongst other places and all within a short drive. The villa itself is really well equipped and has everything for a family holiday. 2 big supermarkets nearby and Pezanas is stocked full of restaurants and shops. The market on Saturday is amazing and well worth a visit. Thanks for a great holiday and we would thoroughly recommend the villa to others.
Thank you for allowing us to holiday at Château Trieux, it didn't disappoint! What a truly wonderful house and holiday experience we had. After exploring for a few hours on arrival it really felt like home. The children loved the pool, sporting facilities and quad bikes. The floodlit tennis court made for some great fun away from the day time heat. Whilst we loved the space and beautifully appointed rooms. You have a real gem in Château Trieux and the nearby town of Bergerac and many villages and markets as promised didn't disappoint either, simply stunning!! Thank you again and will definitely book for next year.
Je veux vraiment garder ce bijou caché pour moi ! C’est super. L’appartement est ce que nous souhaitons tous avoir. Deux chambres avec lits doubles. Belle vue sur la mer depuis le balcon. Parking privé. Endroit privé avec chaises côté mer. Beach club très proche. Relaxant et facile de communiquer avec le propriétaire Paul. À l’arrivée, Ben était là avec les clés et beaucoup de conseils sur la région. Réservation arrangée, etc. Très facile d’accès et super serviable. Donc n’y allez pas car nous voulons y aller plus souvent !
