Je voulais juste dire que nous avons passé ion séjour fantastique dans votre belle maison, l'espace et les prestations ont rendu ces vacances très agréables. Merci! Robert a facilité notre séjour, répondant toujours présent pour le moindre conseil ou aide et s'assurant aussi bien à notre arrivée qu'à notre départ que la maison était parfaite. Merci.
Idyllique et détente absolue C'était notre premier séjour en Charente et nous avons adoré La Charmante Distillerie. Dès notre arrivée, nous nous sommes sentis détendus. La piscine et les terrasses offraient une vue imprenable et un calme absolu. L'intérieur était joliment meublé et nous avons apprécié le clin d'œil à l'ancienne distillerie et à son histoire. De nombreuses activités étaient proposées en famille et nous avons adoré observer les étoiles grâce au télescope mis à disposition. Mark a impeccablement entretenu le terrain et la piscine. Nous avons apprécié l'accès au jardin d'herbes aromatiques et aux arbres fruitiers. Je tiens également à souligner l'excellente connexion internet, qui a permis à nos adolescents de se détendre dans le coin détente de la mezzanine, tandis que les plus jeunes ont adoré jouer dans le bac à sable et sur le portique. Je recommande vivement cet endroit !
Une semaine véritablement magique dans un château de rêve, au cœur d'un cadre idyllique. Une semaine absolument merveilleuse. Tout était parfait – un grand merci à tout le personnel qui s'est occupé de tout. Nous avons adoré l'immense piscine et les parties endiablées de baby-foot ! On ne veut pas partir ! Merci encore.
Beautiful renovation with the charm of old stones and the modernity of interior materials. Premium interior equipment. Absolute calm, without proximity to the road. Very comfortable for this property. Christophe available, nice and helpful. It was perfect.
We had a really nice holiday at Château Entre-Deux-Mers... it's an amazing place and everything was just fine.
Thank you for a wonderful and relaxing two weeks. We have loved getting to know this part of France (and it’s wine!), playing boules in the garden and watching all the birds. We particularly enjoyed the Grand Cafe Occitane and the beaches at Leucate. Your attention to detail and the warm welcome made us feel immediately at home and we really appreciated the pool being kept so clean.
Je tiens à vous remercier pour la belle semaine que nous avons passée au Château du Pic de Rigaud. Henrietta était charmante et extrêmement serviable, la demeure était belle sans être trop guindée. Les vues étaient incroyables aussi bien depuis la maison que de la piscine. Nous sommes partis revigorés.
L'appartement offre une vue imprenable et le balcon est un endroit très agréable où s'asseoir et se détendre tout en regardant la mer. Il est très spacieux et dispose également d'une table où prendre les repas en plein air. Un immense supermarché se trouve littéralement en face de l'appartement. Il est facile de prendre un train pour les grandes stations balnéaires : Monte Carlo, Cannes et Nice. Les trains sont rapides et si vous montez à l'étage, vous obtenez une vue fabuleuse sur la côte ! Nous vous recommandons également de réserver des vélos à la marina au 'Booking bikies". Il est si facile de faire du vélo grâce aux pistes cyclables tout le long de la côte. Nous sommes allés à vélo à Antibes deux fois, une ville charmante qui mérite une visite. Le trajet est complètement plat et dure environ 25 minutes. Idéal aussi pour aller courir tôt le matin ! Le long du front de mer se trouvent de nombreux restaurants et endroits où prendre un verre.
Un mois idyllique ! La ferme est charmante, fraîche à l'intérieur et magnifiquement équipée. Tout fonctionnait parfaitement, même le Wi-Fi pour les nombreuses réunions zoom que nous avions tous les deux en Angleterre. La cuisine d'été et la piscine étaient une aubaine, hier il faisait 48° au soleil ! Température démentielle mais on s'en est bien sorti, y compris Harry, notre labrador noir qui aime toujours être dehors normalement, pouvait difficilement être traîné loin du carrelage frais ! Harry a également nagé dans le Lot et dans divers lacs à proximité - bienvenus. Nous l'avons tellement aimé que nous pensons séjourner un mois l'année prochaine. Un grand merci à Stéphane et Cathy (et Jean Luc) qui se sont si bien occupés de nous, de la piscine et de la maison. La région est très sympathique et nous avons rencontré des gens adorables - au marché du mercredi soir à Salles, en promenant Harry à 7 heures du matin (Mike, pas moi !) et lors de diverses visites à Monflanquin et dans d'autres bastides locales. Les célébrations du 14 juillet hier soir étaient également très amusantes. Vive la France! En vous remerciant encore.
Nous avons passé de fantastiques vacances en famille, tout le monde a adoré la piscine / le court de tennis, les barbecues et les ballades dans les villages locaux. Nous sommes venus l'année dernière et nous réserverons certainement à nouveau.
The house is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. The rooms are large and the beds are nice. The pool is perfect and well maintained and the beautiful large garden with multiple seating areas offers enough relaxation space for a group of 7 or more. What we were most impressed with is the beautiful kitchen with a large range of pans and other kitchen utensils. We love to cook so we were very satisfied with this. All in all, a fantastic house with an attentive host who responds quickly to questions.

Nous avons tous les 7 passé un moment formidable dans la magnifique villa de Richard et Gay. Du pool house à leurs cours en passant par la cuisine, chacun de leurs espaces magnifiquement restaurés ajoute quelque chose de différent. Les échanges sont incroyablement faciles, ils se sont tous les deux occupés de nous depuis la minute où nous sommes entrés en contact avec eux jusqu'au jour de notre départ (où nous étions extrêmement réticents!). Ils sont allés au-delà, nous réservant un restaurant local pour notre première nuit et même faisant un des courses de dernière minute pour que nous ne soyons pas sans provisions lorsque tous les magasins étaient fermés! La maison est entourée de paysages époustouflants, avec une étendue apparemment sans fin de villages, de villes et de monuments français à explorer. Si nous revenions chaque année du le reste de notre vie, nous ne verrions toujours pas tout. Un grand merci à tous les deux, nous espérons vous revoir bientôt!
Our second stay at 'Mel's place', the first was in 2012. Returned with 2 more grand children and a grand son's girlfriend. Have stayed in many houses over the years - this is by far the best. Brilliant pool for everyone, loads of space for the children to play and a secret garden if you want to get away from it. We didn't go far - we just enjoyed the opportunity for us all to get together for a relaxing holiday. Also there is so much equipment and toys for the children - Mel's thought of everything, an excellent host.
We have had an amazing time and are very sad to have to leave! We have loved our time lazing by the pool and leaving all the stresses of our normal lives far behind. The owners have been perfect hosts. and the house has had everything that we needed. We really enjoyed visiting this part of France for the first time and would recommend all the beautiful Bastide villages. Hopefully it won't be too long before we can come back!
Nous y avons passé une fantastique semaine de vacances. Cette maison a une position incroyable avec des vues panoramiques dans toutes les directions. J'ai apprécié y cuisiner et me détendre dans la piscine. Merci d'avoir une maison aussi confortable et bien équipée. Nous n’avions besoin de rien d'autre. Un grand choix de routes où circuler à vélo. Nous espérons revenir.
We have loved our stay here! Fantastic weather, relaxing days and memorable meals by the pool! Our boys enjoyed swimming in the beautiful pool! After 8 weeks away it was great to have space - we would love to visit again someday!
Well, when Beverley told me she wanted to bring our children and grandchildren for a 'once in a lifetime' holiday, to celebrate our forthcoming 50th wedding anniversary in October, I must be honest I was negative and full of foreboding! But... Domaine de Nérige! Wow, what a place Bev found while I was moping around saying this won’t work. Not only was the location, 'in the middle of nowhere' absolutely perfect but the house was just beautiful with every facility we could possibly have wanted not to mention Sandie and David constantly going the extra mile if we needed advice. Thank you both for being the perfect hosts. We have not one negative word to say about this beautiful property - the rooms were comfortable, cooled where necessary with AC, the plethora of bathrooms is nothing short of extraordinary. Showers perfect and the supply of local wine and your own olive oil is truly the nicest touch. The games room, the space for kids to play on the terrace culminating in the fantastic pool was everything kids and the whole family would want. We didn’t need to leave here and, in fact, we probably did spend more time here that we would have in a 'run of the mill' villa. So finally, thank you to you both. We would love to see you both again but it would not be with such a heavy group of 'hangers on' although Bev’s decision for us to all be together this year was an inspirational one which worked perfectly. Everyone LOVED it.
Everything about this stay was perfect! The location (in a small village which boasts a lovely hotel / bar / restaurant, a shop in which you can buy all you need, local wine producers and an organic butchers lorry visiting twice a week) to close proximity to beautiful walking routes and access to nearby towns with great markets, to the house itself which is the epitome of Provence living. Comfortable, thoughtfully restored and furnished and with every amenity you could wish for. The outside areas are great too - a beautiful pool area and several eating / barbecue and relaxation areas to take advantage of the sun or shade as you need. Perfect for large family gatherings as all the rooms are en suit and private except one which has an adjoining room perfect for those with young children although it still has 2 bathrooms! The house and grounds are looked after by a lovely couple who are on hand to help if needed with taxi's advice etc. We will be back!
We have enjoyed a tremendous week. The weather was fantastic and we made the most of the outdoor living. A few highlights for us: A fantastic meal at L’Effet Maison in Monflanquin. Great service and they were superb with the boys. Château Bonaguil (never found) was a big hit with the boys. It is a large castle and they loved running around and pretending to be knights. Much (much!) further afield, but we enjoyed Angoulême on the drive down from Calais – lots of amazing murals and graffiti. We hope to return to this great house!
What can I say but awesome. We all arrived at the same time to drive up the long drive to the picturesque château. Obviously we had seen pictures but they did not do it justice. We were met with a glass of bubbly and were shown around the property. It was like being shown around a personal home rather than a holiday rental property. There was everything you could want for a relaxing holiday for our two families, including a tennis court, swimming pool, snooker / pool table, croquet set and the all important ice machine as we were in the middle of a heat wave. All the rooms were luxurious with all but one bedroom (which had it's own bathroom) having ensuite bathrooms and the two main bedrooms having dressing rooms as well. The grounds were spectacular and there was even gorgeous little chapel. The best endorsement I can give is that we were all discussing how we could come back next year. La maison est incroyable. Vous vous sentez chez vous en vacances. La maison est décorée avec soin et bien entretenue. La piscine est super et très propre. C'est la troisième fois que nous visitons la maison et nous y reviendrons. Merci à la gentille propriétaire. Le meilleur moment de l'année.
Ces vacances ont été des plus reposantes et réparatrices après les épreuves du Covid, etc. Nous devons remercier Alan et Madeline pour leur grande gentillesse et pour avoir fait un effort supplémentaire lorsque nous ne trouvions pas le chemin du retour. Nous avons apprécié les restaurants locaux : essayez l'Aubord de la Source, Sainte-Livrade pour une gourmandise spéciale, Les Rives du Plantie. Nous sommes allés au nord jusqu'au marché de Cancon (le lundi matin). Il y a un village appelé Saint-Pastour sur le chemin où un jeune couple tient un très bon restaurant (déjeuner en semaine et certains soirs) appelé Le Relais Bastide. Merci encore Madeline et Alan. J'ai presque oublié de dire qu'il ne faut pas manquer les nymphéas et le déjeuner à Latour-Marliac. Monet a acheté ses nymphéas ici, après les avoir vus à la grande Exposition de Paris.
A really fabulous time had by all 9 in our 'gang', you have left no stone unturned here in this great house. Location is perfect, Revel is a smashing town with everything you need whilst still retaining the feel of a rural French setting. A holiday none of us will forget. This holiday has been great! I have really enjoyed playing in the pool and running round the huge garden for exercise. Written by a teenager pretending they are 48!

Nous sommes venus deux semaines et avons reçu un accueil chaleureux de nos hôtes. Nous avons exploré la région et les environs, fait de belles promenades et découvert de charmantes villes, comme Sarlat-la-Canéda et Bergerac, avec leurs marchés animés. Merci à Alan et Madeline d'avoir partagé votre jolie maison avec nous. Nous avons hâte de revenir avec le reste de la famille.
Many thanks for a great family holiday in a wonderful setting. La Ferme Éclaircie is great and proved perfect for our family. We especially enjoyed cooling off in the fantastic pool. The area and scenery are great also and we recommend the prune festival in Agen! We would love to come back.
