Just a quick note to let you know that we had a wonderful holiday at Mas de Lozanne. Beautiful house, well looked after, close to the fabulous town of Pézenas with some brilliant weather. We have all had a superb week. What a beautiful house and surroundings. Huge fun in the pool, long evenings on the stunning terrace watching the sun go down. Complete relaxation for us all. Younger folk tried the Pirate experience and really enjoyed it. We all went to Laparade - a huge open food festival, a sea of tables on the remparts (take your own cloth and plastic beakers!) and great music. A truly magical week we will all treasure. X

Nous étions un groupe de 7 adultes et avons passé une semaine absolument fabuleuse dans votre villa. Il est très rare qu’une villa fonctionne à tous les niveaux, mais la vôtre l’a vraiment fait. Tellement d’espace – et si bien pensé, avec absolument tout ce dont on pourrait avoir besoin. Et oui – bien mieux que ne le laissaient penser les photos. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le fromage et le vin à notre arrivée – le pain et le pâté durant la semaine – et bien sûr le repas à La Tour, qui était tout simplement incroyable ! Nous avons bien profité des vélos (malgré le froid et l’humidité !) et sommes allés plusieurs fois jusqu’à Montady (une belle balade sur la piste cyclable). Nous avons visité Béziers, Carcassonne et Minerve – mais surtout – nous avons pu nous détendre, discuter et rire ! Merci Philippe. Quelle semaine formidable.
Really brilliant week at Mas Saint-Cernin. We have loved the houses, garden, pool, views, sun-rises and sunsets, birds, red squirrels etc etc. The local towns are so pretty and the fantastic markets provided most of our food. Lots of coffee stops. Found it easy to do boulangerie trip. Intermarche just outside Castillonnes was an easy supermarket shop (done on Tuesday after visiting the great market where we got large boxes of peaches, apricots and haricot vert for 5 Euros. Great wine tasting at Les Verdots - wish we had gone there earlier for our wine. La Brucellerie great for a meal. Bikes hired from Bergerac cycle hire, google Apolo cycles. Best to book in advance but really helpful man there. Huge thanks to John and Lesley for providing such wonderful accommodation (they have thought of everything) and for being so warm and helpful all week. We have appreciated your many kindnesses. Hope to return soon.
Just wanted you to know we had a great time in Fitou, thanks for letting us use your wonderful home. We all loved your villa, the village and the whole area and will certainly be going back. Thanks again.

La villa était un endroit idéal où séjourner. Nous louons des villas depuis près de 20 ans maintenant et c'est la première fois que nous n'utilisons pas de voiture. Si proche de l'aéroport, donc proche des commerces, des restaurants, de la mer, de la gare pour des excursions à Nice et Antibes. Et la villa elle-même était charmante - elle était plus spacieuse que ce à quoi nous nous attendions. De plus, à 30 degrés, la piscine était merveilleuse. Seul reproche : une semaine trop courte !
Fantastic stay in an amazing location. We were 6 adults and 5 children staying for 2 weeks. The weather was still mild and sunny in October and the views on the Corsican mountains and the bay of Ajaccio were stunning. The villa is spacious, very well furnished and in top shape. We used the living room fireplace (it has an extraordinary sixteenth century mantelpiece) every night, it was magical. It is a great place for families.

After a two-year pause in our travel arrangements we couldn’t have been more delighted with our visit to the Loft du Vigneron. It was everything - and more - than we had hoped for. Thank you both for your generosity of conversation, wine and gin!!! Good luck with the next phase of Le Domaine aux Quat’Saisons, not that we think you will need it - quite simply, it is stunning.
Superbe semaine dans cette charmante maison à Sarlat. La maison a tout pour un séjour estival, y compris la fraîcheur lorsque les températures atteignent les 30 degrés comme cette semaine. Le jardin verdoyant et luxuriant a été un vrai plus pour moi, avec une biodiversité incroyable – un endroit urbain que j'ai adoré. Incroyablement proche de tout à Sarlat, nous avons apprécié nos visites quotidiennes à la boulangerie et nos repas au restaurant presque tous les soirs – tout était excellent. Petits trajets en voiture jusqu'aux grottes de Lascaux, fascinantes, et canoë sur la Dordogne, un incontournable, avec une multitude de libellules différentes et même un martin-pêcheur. Allez, raibh mile math agut (merci beaucoup).
Nous avons adoré séjourner dans votre belle maison. Les installations, le jardin, la décoration et les vues étaient à couper le souffle. Frédéric s'est si bien occupé de nous. Nous avons fait de longues promenades à la campagne, visité des villages et des marchés locaux. Nous sommes allés aux Eyzies pour découvrir des grottes incroyables dont Rouffignac. Merci beaucoup pour ces vacances merveilleuses et mémorables. PS : de nombreux tournois de tennis de table fabuleux à consommer des bulles comme carburant…
Three night weekend stay with friends. Very comfortable accommodation decorated to a high standard. Upstairs kitchen, lounge and patio looked over the pool. Brilliant. It was Bastille weekend and World Cup final. Lots going on in village square, bars and restaurants. Beach about 20 minutes drive - really nice with excellent restaurant. Shops and supermarket close by were very helpful. Visited Béziers and Narbonne about 30 minutes drive. Well worth the trip We had a great time and will definitely go back again!
Nous avons passé de superbes vacances à La Distillerie : le plus beau gîte où nous ayons séjourné, et un cadre idéal pour profiter de la campagne française. La propriété est joliment décorée, d'une propreté irréprochable et bien équipée avec tout le nécessaire. Mark et Gary sont des hôtes exceptionnels et nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous dès notre arrivée, grâce à leur accueil chaleureux et à leur hospitalité généreuse tout au long de notre séjour. Nous recherchions un séjour paisible et relaxant, et La Distillerie nous convenait parfaitement. La piscine, la terrasse et le jardin sont magnifiques, avec une vue imprenable sur la campagne environnante. De charmants villages sont également accessibles en voiture. Un grand merci à Mark et Gary pour avoir rendu notre première visite si spéciale, et nous avons hâte d'y retourner !
Simply a wonderful holiday, house and village We're just back from spending a week in this fabulous house in a great little village. The house had everything to make our stay totally comfortable with loads of space for our party of two couples and could have accommodated two or three more people easily. The pool and pool area were great with plenty of loungers and seating with a nice shaded area for refuge from the sun at the hight of the afternoon but best of all there is a great terrace where we spent the warm evenings with a glass or three of our favourite tipple. We were able to join in the fun and celebrations in the local bars as France progressed in the World Cup, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The village itself has all we would want bakeries, a couple of bars and restaurants with pretty good food and all just 1 to 2 minutes walk from the house, there is even a good supermarket 5 minutes walk away. All in all we had a great holiday and can't wait to go back next year, 5 stars from us.
Thank you for a lovely stay. Villa Kali was immaculate when we arrived. Best villa ever according to no.2 child (particularly because of pool and table tennis). All in all a memorable holiday, everything is so convenient, hassle free and well thought through. Thanks very much.
Fantastique propriété - très confortable et bien équipée. Nous avons passé une semaine incroyable à Rully. La propriété est joliment décorée et on se sent véritablement comme chez-soi en termes de confort et d'équipements. L'espace extérieur est super - quatre aires de repos différentes en fonction de l'endroit où vous voulez vous installer. Sigrid et sa famille font tout leur possible pour s'assurer que vous disposez de toutes les informations avant votre arrivée. Je ne saurais trop le recommander.
Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour dans cette superbe villa. J'ai apprécié toutes les vues, la piscine, la nourriture et surtout le calme et la tranquillité. Merci à tous ceux qui ont contribué à ce que notre séjour soit si agréable. PS : J'ai adoré les petites attentions de la maison - les fleurs fraîches, etc…

Nous tenons à vous dire combien nous avons apprécié La Cigalière. La maison et la piscine étaient agréables. Charlotte a été très serviable et tout était parfait pour nos vacances. I wanted to drop you a quick line to say thank you, we had a wonderful, relaxing week. The villa, garden and pool were all fabulous and we were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The villa has been finished to a very nice standard and we would definitely like to go back and we will be recommending it to our family and friends.

What a stunning location. We have had a wonderful week and extremely sad to be leaving this idyllic spot. The house is incredibly well appointed and kitted out with everything we could possibly have needed. We spent the week relaxing and fitting in the odd wine tasting, horse ridding lessons for our two girls and visiting the brilliant goat farm! Thank you so much for the incredible stay!
A more tranquil spot in France you will not find. The house has 360-degree views across stunning French countryside that rolls and undulates towards a backdrop of the Pyrenees. It feels like you're a million miles from the stresses and strains of modern life, another world and yet within 20 minutes drive you can be in a huge supermarket that will cater for all your needs. The house itself is incredibly comfortable, with all mod cons. It sleeps 14 people in great comfort, including in two well-appointed cottages in the grounds. And yet it retains its cosy feel. Some days we lazed by the pool and ate our meals on one of the terraces, other days – when it was cooler - we lit the fire and settled in. It's genuinely as comfy inside as it is outside, which is not always the case in French holiday lets. Our young children were in heaven. When not swimming or playing tennis, they roamed the five acres of immaculately kept grounds, building camps, rowing on the small lake. There's snooker croquet and table tennis too, if it's wet. And then of course there is the party room. Set well away from the grown-up bedrooms, the party room has a bar, DJ–quality speaker system and a proper disco – glitter ball, lights and all. Incredible fun. You really won't want to leave the château and grounds at all – it's a self-contained little hill-top world - but if you do have itchy feet then there are lots of walks nearby, or you can visit one of the many beautiful French towns nearby (Mirepoix market is a must). I cannot wait to return.
