Nous aimerions remercier Terry et Carol pour nous avoir permis de passer de super vacances en famille. La maison était parfaite et fidèle aux photos. L'accès à la piscine sécurisée, nous a permis d'apprécier encore plus cet endroit avec nos enfants.
Cette année encore, je souhaite vivement renouveler notre séjour. Cet endroit incarne l’essence même d’une demeure accueillante pour les amis, à mille lieues des locations impersonnelles et dénuées de chaleur. Chez toi, on ressent immédiatement une atmosphère chaleureuse, empreinte de ton goût exquis et d’une âme véritable. Chaque année, tu nous réserves des surprises merveilleuses : une nouvelle chambre aménagée avec un soin et une originalité sans pareils, un jardin qui se transforme, un potager qui nous offre des légumes de saison d’une qualité exceptionnelle. Et que dire des aventures mémorables que nous avons vécues, ainsi que de la vue imprenable sur la Provence et le majestueux Pont du Gard lors de nos petits déjeuners. Grâce à toi, ce lieu se transforme en une véritable maison de famille. Nous commençons déjà à compter les jours qui nous séparent de notre prochain séjour. À très bientôt.
House was spotlessly clean as was all bedding. Absolutely first class. You have thought of everything that a family with young children could possibly need and want for. Catering very good - delicious. You were so helpful with all of our queries and went above and beyond to help.
Prior to arriving, dealing with Pete was easy and this continued with both him and Kate throughout our stay. We’d been in Avignon for week before where it was very hot, this continued in Curzon but the house was lovely and cool throughout. We all had no trouble sleeping which meant we weren’t able to take advantage of the pool for the first morning as we all slept in. When we did get out there, it was wonderful. As a family of 4 we were able to relax and have fun round the pool all day every day if we wanted, including cooking lunch and dinner on the gas BBQ in the outside kitchen which we made full use of. Facilities in the house were great and we relaxed quickly, taking advantage of the welcome package of goodies. We explored the surrounding villages and towns which were in easy reach and a 10 minute drive for bread each morning or a full shop meant we could simply pop out and get something for dinner/breakfast. They really looked after us and each morning we woke to a clean pool and surroundings, including towels waiting for us. We felt truly spoilt during our stay and could have easily booked 3 weeks or more and I imagine Pete and Kate will be managing full summers for a while to come. Thank you Pete and Kate for a memorable stay!
Lovely house in nice authentic village. We really enjoyed staying in this house in Nissan. We especially loved the pool area and the terrace where we spent most of our time when we weren't out exploring the area. It's in a perfect location within a few minutes' walk from the town square with bars and a couple of pizza restaurants. There is a market 3 times a week, which we also really enjoyed. Paul who met us on arrival and was available throughout our stay for any questions is a really nice guy who speaks good English. It's within easy driving distance of Narbonne, Montpellier and Béziers and about 20 minutes from the beach. You can tell that this is a well-loved house by friendly owners Terry and Carol and we would recommend this house to anyone seeking an authentic French experience in comfortable surroundings.
We have loved our stay here! Fantastic weather, relaxing days and memorable meals by the pool! Our boys enjoyed swimming in the beautiful pool! After 8 weeks away it was great to have space - we would love to visit again someday!
My wife and I have been visiting France for over 20 years and The Loft is the best property we have stayed at. The photographs on the website do not do it justice. Russell and Karen have fitted out The Loft with wonderful taste and all of the bathrooms are top quality including the selection of toiletries left for their guests to use. Their attention to detail is second to none. We received an extensive welcome pack when we arrived at the house and Karen even delivered fresh pastries for breakfast on the Sunday morning from the local Boulangerie. Outside the house there is a beautiful pool and garden but the jewel in the crown is the large sheltered "porch area". This is a half open and half covered space off the front of The Loft where you can choose sun or shade during the day. The BBQ is there along with a big dining table and also sofas for relaxing. It’s a fab place to eat and drink during the day or on an evening with a lovely view of the extensive gardens. Rieux Minervois is a nice little town situated in the middle of the Minervois wine region It has a good Italian restaurant within 2 minutes walk from the house, which Karen kindly booked it for us for the night we arrived. The food was very good. The town is also well placed to visit Carcassonne, Narbonne and several of the coastal towns; we particularly enjoyed Gruissan. It is also surrounded by many other small villages with excellent restaurants if you want enjoy a lazy lunch during your holiday. Karen will even book them for you if you ask. Overall we spent a lovely week in The Languedoc. Thank you Russell and Karen for your hospitality and for going to such lengths to make our holiday so memorable.
We celebrated a week's holiday with 6 adult children and 2 grandchildren. The house is equipped with all modern conveniences, has a beautiful and complete interior, but still has an authentic appearance. The space in and around the house is gigantic and there is plenty of entertainment for everyone: from a nice swimming pool with many sun loungers to a room with numerous games and a good tennis court. Highly recommended for a family holiday. We will definitely go back again.
Thank you for sharing your fantastic home with us. Perfect location and layout of the house, with a great outside bathing area to watch the sunsets with a glass of wine. Laprade not to be missed. If you are prepared to drive a little further Issigeac (Noth East of Eymet) worth a visit with a good selection of bars, shops and restaurants. Big thanks to Olivia, always on hand to help. Je suis revenu aux Fumerates pendant cinq années consécutives et j'ai toujours passé un moment des plus merveilleux ici. Les Fumerates sont d'une beauté époustouflante et le cadre est inégalé. La piscine à débordement et la vue sur la mer sont incroyables. Très bien situé - très calme, mais proche de St Paul de Vence. Nous en partons toujours très détendu et revigoré. Je ne saurais trop le recommander !
What a terrific home to say in. Totally relaxing with so much thought given to every detail. We really loved the tour of all the buildings and we look forward to visiting again to see the developments. Its a glorious place, we loved it here, such a relaxing, comfortable and interesting place to be staying. Its been a privilege to stay in your home. Si vous aimez le charme de l ancien, vous serez conquis. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la disposition de la maison et des extérieurs. Le fait que la piscine soit dans le jardin bas crée à la fois une sécurité mais aussi que la maison reste très calme quand il y a de l agitation à la piscine! Nous avons fait les plus mémorables parties de ping pong à l ombre des majestueux cyprès et les enfants ont passé des heures à illuminer le château dont la proximité immédiate est magique.
Notre 60e anniversaire de mariage, réunissant un clan de 3 générations ... et ... Richard et Gay nous ont royalement reçus dans leur «nouvelle» maison. Comment peuvent-ils supporter de quitter Le Malardier? ... Le grand avantage était l'absence quasi totale de guêpes et de mouches. À bientôt pour le 65e!
J'avais de très bonnes attentes pour ce logement, sur la base des photos et des descriptions. Mais le château a été encore plus incroyable que ce que nous avons osé imaginer. Nous étions quatre familles, 15 au total, lors d'un voyage de remise des diplômes à travers l'Europe. C'est le seul endroit où nous pourrions tous être ensemble, et nos journées là-bas ont été le point culminant de notre voyage. Cet endroit est PARFAIT pour les grands rassemblements. Tellement de place, tellement d'endroits où nous pourrions tous être ensemble. Cuisine incroyable. La piscine était géniale. Je ne saurais trop dire à quel point c'était parfait pour notre groupe.
Juste pour dire merci. Nous avons passé un agréable moment et votre maison était magnifique. Nous la recommanderons. Je ne pense pas qu'il y ait quoi que ce soit à améliorer ! Merci aussi pour l'organisation du beau temps! Nous avions réussi à nous déplacer dans plusieurs des endroits que vous m'aviez recommandés et avons pris de très bons repas à Pézenas et Neffiès. J'espère revenir à un moment donné.
Super week-end entre copains. Le logement est magnifique, propre, avec tout ce qu’il faut. La piscine est magnifique tout comme le jardin et la bâtisse de manière général. Je recommande vivement ce logement qui est idéal pour des familles ou encore des groupes d’amis.
Thanks for a lovely week in your fabulous holiday house, it was very kind of you to let us arrive early so we could easily visit the market. It was quite entertaining seeing the gendarmes trying to organise the market day traffic (and the usual bonkers French parking!) We have stayed in quite a few properties in the South of France but not managed to find somewhere that was both walking distance to a nice town and a high spec house. Yours certainly ticked both of those boxes. Especially with the weather not being on our side, we spent a lot of time in the house and really appreciated all of the luxury living area and kitchen features. The kids loved the pool (and it did stay at 26 degrees!), so we did manage to venture in almost every day, much to the amazement of some of the locals! Thanks also for all of the information and recommendations that you and Lisa sent through before and during our stay. It was very much appreciated and hugely helpful.

Great house, wonderful weather, lovely city. We loved the pool, the bike ride along the Canal du Midi, we enjoyed having space in a rented house. The decoration of the house is very well done and we feel very relaxed now.
Thank you so much for making our holiday such a comfortable one. This house is so cosy and well-equipped, especially the kitchen! Our boys loved the wooden die and boules. We have used Pure France for 5 years now and this has been by far the best holiday home! We particularly appreciated the discrete, yet available presence of the owners and the e-mails were definitely very helpful with information on which places to visit.
Nous avons passé une semaine fantastique au Malardier. C'était tellement paisible et relaxant de se prélasser dans le magnifique jardin et de nager dans la piscine. Le temps a été plutôt mitigé mais la semaine s'est passée trop vite et nous sommes tous très désolés de partir.
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans votre villa. Nous avons visité le jardin Saint Adrien qui était magnifique mais n'avons pas assisté au spectacle avec les chevaux et la musique. La villa était vraiment parfaite et merci de nous avoir permis d'y séjourner.
We enjoyed a wonderful 'Spring break at Villa Floriana! The villa has been perfect for our family. We enjoyed the pool and grounds which were perfect for our 4 year old to explore. Everything was as expected and did not disappoint. We spent days in Port Grimaud, Saint-Topez. We would recommend this place to family and friends. We plan to return!
Merci, nous nous sommes bien amusés pendant ces deux semaines au Pigat. Nous avons fait du vélo, couru et exploré la campagne rurale. Nous avons passé des soirées d'été à jouer aux cartes et aux dominos avec nos enfants. Nous avons adoré la piscine et le calme ainsi que de pouvoir manger à l'extérieur. Nous y avons véritablement passé deux semaines mémorables et nous sommes tristes de partir pour retourner au travail et à l'école. Grande maison, emplacement parfait, privé et paisible. Des souvenirs impérissables... On revient...
