Just a little note to say thank you so much for our lovely, restful, peaceful stay in your beautiful Loft. We're sure you saw we were well and truly exhausted after a summer running events - the Loft was THE PERFECT ANTIDOTE! All the little touches were noted and appreciated by us both and we spent a lovely evening enjoying many aperitifs with you. Many, many heartfelt thanks again. It certainly isn't Au Revoir - but A Bientot!

Here we are again! The Loft and it’s setting never loses its WOW! factor; we have had yet another ( fifth ) visit, having enjoyed the garden, pool, local area and not least your wonderful hospitality. Thank you so much - an oasis of calm in the Covid-19 storm! The measures you have taken to protect guests have been executed with your usual discretion and thoroughness, allowing us to truly relax.
We were four related families of eight adults and 8 children aged 3-7. The palatial exterior of the Chateau belies the comfort and homeliness of its interior which boasts some of the most comfortable beds we have slept in. The shuttered windows and the judicious repositioning of a vase or two made it easy to child-proof the rooms. The magnificent parkland of trees, lawns and flower-beds offers a short-walk to a fully enclosed and secure open-air swimming pool, which was a particular highlight. The views across the surrounding countryside are simply stunning. We particularly valued the extensive space, the quiet and the privacy. Gaelle was extremely helpful in dealing with any queries and we are grateful to her and her family for sharing their home with a large group of complete strangers. Fiona
Moments inoubliables au sein du chalet. Nous sommes venus pour un week-end entre amis et chacun de nous est unanime: la qualité du logement, le soin apporté à chaque détails et la gentillesse et la réactivité de notre hôte nous a tous convaincus. Le chalet entièrement rénové par l’hôte est une perle rare et le propriétaire tout autant. Nous nous sommes créer des souvenirs inoubliable et espérons pouvoir revenir dès que possible. La maison est fabuleuse, bien entretenue, avec beaucoup de caractère et de charme, mais également bien équipée pour une vie moderne. Belle piscine, beaux jardins et une hôte exceptionnelle. Nous avons eu beaucoup de soleil et avons pu vraiment profiter de la magnifique campagne et des villages pittoresques voisins. De très bonnes vacances, merci.
THE LOFT! - Undoubtedly the best accommodation we have ever stayed at in France. A great concept realised in every detail. Wonderful hospitality on our arrival and throughout our stay. Your new B&B concept is beyond our imagination and will be utterly unique on completion. Cinq étoiles ne suffisent pas à donner un avis sur ce gîte exceptionnel. Une semaine fabuleuse, qui a débuté par un accueil chaleureux (et un délicieux cocktail au cognac) de Mark et Gary, puis par un cadre luxueux que nous avons adoré : 7 jours de luxe absolu, et un grand merci à nos hôtes merveilleux qui ont rendu notre séjour encore plus spécial. L'attention portée aux détails est exemplaire : tout le nécessaire est fourni (du lait fouetté pour un café parfait à la friteuse à air, en passant par les sèche-cheveux, le gel douche au parfum divin et les douches cascade). Le panier de bienvenue était un délice et Mark et Gary ont été des hôtes parfaits, avec d'excellentes recommandations pour le dîner (Le Boule d'Or et Les Drôles étaient excellents) et les lieux à visiter. Tout est impeccable (y compris la piscine et la terrasse, méticuleusement nettoyées chaque jour) et les lits sont comme un nid douillet. L'odeur chaleureuse qui règne partout est un souvenir inoubliable, notamment lors d'une visite à Aubeterre et à Savon Garde. Nous ne pouvons rien reprocher à cet incroyable havre de paix et de luxe et prévoyons déjà d'y retourner. Merci à Mark et Gary d'avoir transformé la Distillerie La Charmante en une destination de vacances exceptionnelle et pour votre hospitalité du début à la fin.
We had an amazing family holiday in the house, brilliantly equipped for all ages. Mel was great both before and after the holiday. The pool was lovely and warm with lots of inflatables, sun loungers etc. Would love to go back.
This is an ideal holiday home if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing time surrounded by beautiful countryside. There are no other houses nearby, yet you are only a 10 minute drive from the nearby Bastide of Monpazier and larger town of Villareal, where there are shops, restaurants, markets etc. The pool is a good size and well maintained and the house is very well equipped. We have been coming to France for over 10 years and this is the only property which has enticed us back for 2 years running.
Thanks for a great stay and making us feel so welcome - you were fantastic hosts. The accommodation was spotless and provided for every requirement. We really enjoyed the spaciousness of the Loft and the wonderful gardens, and of course the pool! Hopefully we will see you again in the future!

We’ve just returned from our third visit to Mas de Lozanne and if anything, the property is better than ever! There have been various improvements made - the addition of a wine fridge, sofas at the side of the pool, a better pool alarm - to name a few. We also noticed how much the trees and shrubs have grown, making very attractive shady areas in the garden - much needed as the temperature did not drop below 34 degrees! All in all, a wonderful stay in this lovely property. Lisa looked after us well and answered any questions we had. Highly recommended!
Nous avons passé un très bon moment à la villa, elle est magnifique et la piscine et les jardins sont incroyables. Nous venons en France depuis de nombreuses années et séjournons toujours dans un endroit différent et c'est la première fois que nous disons que nous envisagerons de revenir dans une propriété. Rien ne manque. L'intérieur est également spacieux, avec des chambres séparées. La maison est très adaptée à une grande famille et/ou pour 3 couples de par son agencement. La chambre principale est immense et la salle de bain séparée est très luxueuse et également spacieuse. L'endroit est très adapté pour un agréable dîner formel dans la salle à manger séparée. Nous avons mangé à l'extérieur tout le temps mais l'intérieur est très agréable aussi. Mon petit devait choisir entre le piano à queue et la piscine, un dilemme majeur. La piscine est suffisamment grande pour y nager et pas seulement pour y jouer. Elle est entourée de buissons de lavande pour une véritable expérience française. Duras est proche, vous y trouverez quelques magasins, bars et restaurants ainsi que des boulangeries, une boucherie, une pizzeria et un supermarché. Vous devriez visiter le Château de Duras, c'est une recommandation si vous avez des enfants. En résumé, je ne devrais pas trop la recommander... pour la garder pour nous !
What a fantastic house. It is so peaceful. The views are amazing and the different light throughout the day makes it all wonderful. We loved the pool and having barbecues in the evening. Thank you.
We had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful home. The kitchen and living area was so spacious and comfortable and the outside space was equally ideal. The pool was delightful and spacious allowing the six of us to enjoy it at the same time. The kitchen had everything we could ask for - literally home from home. The only regret about this holiday was having only one week there as it wasn’t long enough! We most definitely would return.

We’ve had a wonderful time thank you. Yes, it did get pretty hot last week, but coming from England we shouldn’t moan..! It’s such a stunning location and the house is very comfortable and cool in the heat. We really don’t want to go home but I’m afraid we have to… Maybe we can come again next summer?
Une maison tellement fantastique dans une belle partie de la France. Nous y avons passé un super séjour. La maison possède tout ce à quoi vous pourriez penser en termes de confort et de cuisine. Nous avons même mangé une raclette pendant notre séjour car il y avait un appareil à raclette ! Sandie était une hôte géniale et toujours là pour nous aider, même à Noël. Nous ne pouvions pas imaginer un meilleur endroit pour une réunion de famille. Beaucoup d'espace à l'intérieur et aussi beaucoup d'espace extérieur avec de nombreux jeux, ils ont tous été utiles car nous avons dû nous isoler pendant 2 jours à notre arrivée en France en raison des dernières restrictions. Même avec de jeunes enfants qui aiment courir, nous avions beaucoup d'espace pour nous amuser et jouer à des jeux ! Je ne pourrais pas recommander davantage cet endroit.
Would give 10 stars if I could- wonderful stay. The house was so clean and well prepared for us. Felt luxury rustic. There was great detail put into the design. Easy communication with the owner. Great location down a picturesque street and easy to get in and out of Gordes town. Would definitely stay here again.
Thank you for the most wonderful stay at the Piglet. From the warm welcome on the first day to our chats, drinks and little contacts throughout the week, you have been as much a highlight of our holiday as the wonderful home. And that is no mean feat... The Piglet Barn is immaculate throughout and has felt like our own home in this beautiful village. You and your friends around town have made us feel so welcome. We have honestly felt so privileged to have met you and we will absolutely be raving about you to friends and family when we get home.
Thank you so much for making our holiday such a comfortable one. This house is so cosy and well-equipped, especially the kitchen! Our boys loved the wooden die and boules. We have used Pure France for 5 years now and this has been by far the best holiday home! We particularly appreciated the discrete, yet available presence of the owners and the e-mails were definitely very helpful with information on which places to visit.

We would like to very highly recommend this grand idillic property in the tranquil rural setting of the Lot Valley. The quietness and peacefulness of the house and grounds is the perfect place to completely unwind, to read, draw, play boules, table tennis or relax with the family by the poolside area. The market town of Villeréal was particularly vibrant and trips into the Dordogne to Beynac for example is only an hour away. There is an abundance of local wines and vineyards to visit with exquisite cheeses and bread from the local markets. A thoroughly enjoyable holiday. We have returned totally refreshed and relaxed!
Nous sommes restés toute la famille 6 adultes et 2 enfants pendant 4 jours. La maison a tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour profiter de quelques jours dans le sud de la France. Les propriétaires ont toujours été très amicaux et prêts à nous aider avec tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Merci.
Highly recommended. The house was very spacious, tidy and even more beautiful than in the photos. There is a large beautiful and enclosed garden and by the pool a nice terrace. The owner were really friendly and helpful. Both we and our 5 dogs had a great vacation. We will definitely go back again!
