Une demeure fantastique à la frontière de la Dordogne et du Bordelais. La maison et le jardin étaient magnifiques. C'est une "demeure" plutôt qu'une location et nous avons adoré ça. Il y a tout ce dont vous avez besoin et une agréable sensation de chaleur. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour de 4 semaines ici. Les gérants de la maison étaient fantastiques et nous étions très tristes de nous dire au revoir. Ils nous ont donné plein de bons conseils sur les endroits à découvrir. Le lac Jemaye, la fête gastronomique du Pizou, les marchés locaux, le canoë près de Montpon, le magasin de la ferme locale qui vendait du lait directement de la laiterie, etc. Ce qui nous a marqué a été la dégustation de vins autour de Pomerol et de Saint-Émilion - nous avons fini par faire trois journées de dégustation de vins ! St Emillion est vraiment l'un des plus beaux villages que vous puissiez espérer visiter. C'est le point zéro du vin et il est chargé d'histoire. Le château nous manque terriblement. J'espère qu'un jour nous reviendrons.
Agréable petit séjour à la découverte de Sarlat. Le temps a été très doux pour octobre et nous avons pu nous prélasser au soleil, ce à quoi nous ne nous attendions pas. Les visites du château de Beynac et des jardins d'Eyrignac ont également été très agréables. Merci pour ce séjour agréable.
C'est le cœur lourd que nous partons, car votre maison est si belle et si merveilleuse, une ode envoûtante à la vie en France. Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique, rempli de joie, d'amitié et de moments précieux en famille. Un grand merci.

Our week at Maison Charvin from Arlo, the family dog. My family thinks that Maison Charvin is simply beautiful: opulently furnished, exquisitely decorated. More of a château than a maison. That said, my mummy says it’s not pretentious but cosy and homely, much appreciated on the unusually slightly chilly and windy days for part of our stay. The pool has provided instant relief for my family when the weather has been hot and sunny. My human brothers’ favourite space is the very relaxing courtyard where my mummy and I have dozed off on numerous occasions! My daddy has very much enjoyed reading many books from the vast collection. The house is deceptively large, providing ample chilling space for everyone, including me after a hot day in the sun. We enjoyed visiting Trebes (on the Canal), Carcassonne, Lagrasse and the dog-friendly beach in Narbonne. My family enjoyed the pizza which they ordered from the pizza van by the church on Thursday late afternoon. They also had baguettes and pastries (ordered in advance) from Aurelien at Vins de Dagne.
My family stayed here and we could not fault a single thing, everything was as described in the bio, people staying here are in for a real treat this is a great place to stay.
Great house, pictures on the website don't do it justice. Fantastic feeling of being in the middle of nowhere, even though you are not. Great supermarket around the corner.
THE LOFT! - Undoubtedly the best accommodation we have ever stayed at in France. A great concept realised in every detail. Wonderful hospitality on our arrival and throughout our stay. Your new B&B concept is beyond our imagination and will be utterly unique on completion. Magnifique séjour. Nous avons passé une très belle semaine. La villa est magnifique, très spacieuse, très bien équipée et agencée, il ne manquait rien. La situation géographique est parfaite. On est à 5 minutes de la plage d'Agosta, des restaurants. La résidence est très calme. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Emmanuelle. On y reviendra avec plaisir.

We have had a wonderful week in your fantastic home. It has been so peaceful and tranquil here by the pool. Seeing the amphitheatre at Nîmes and canoeing under the Pont Du Gard were the highlights.
We recently spent a week at Le Manoir des Sines and I have been trying to settle on the precise word to describe this property and our experience of it. That word is 'sublime'. Utterly sublime! We knew we were in for something special from the photo gallery and description of the property but nothing could prepare us for the magic of being there. Everything from the outdoor kitchen to the magnificent pool terrace to the cinema room to the resident nutri bullet– we had everything we wanted. We loved the white washed stone, the enormous sense of space that never made our group of nine feel lost, the gorgeous, rustic décor, the myriad paintings everywhere. Honestly, I can't imagine anything more sublime than a stay at Le Manoir des Sines.
We have just come back from having a fab week. It was beautiful. We had a week of wonderful hot sunshine which prevented us from using the wonderful sitting room and the fire. This would be a great place for the cooler parts of the year as well as the summer. Also the kitchen was probably the best equipped kitchen that we have ever had the pleasure to use on a self catering holiday. The Garden was lovely. All in all a great place.

J'ai beaucoup apprécié les promenades que nous avons faites et je vous suis reconnaissante d'avoir pris le temps de nous montrer vos recommandations, ce que vous n'aviez pas nécessairement à faire. C'était tellement relaxant et la vue était magnifique. Je recommanderai cette maison à mes amis et à ma famille. Camirout est un séjour absolument incontournable ! Merci encore pour ce super séjour ! This was a great find for our annual French holiday. Your lovely house was perfect for the whole family, it was hard to get the kids out of the pool at the end of the day. Monflanquin is a great town, a real discovery with lots of great restaurants.
The Piglet Barn, an amazing location. The hosts Annie and John were lovely and so welcoming , lemon drizzle cake, nibbles and wine, candles by the door. Would highly recommend for a very relaxing atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble for them . Thank you for a lovely week. Linda and Bernard x
The house is a magical island setting in the countryside, with a wonderful rural and secluded ambiance. The size and comfort are simply perfect. I loved the morning runs in nature and the breakfasts on the terrace. Carelle and her husband are warm and supportive owners. The three dogs present themselves from time to time as friendly travelers. A great experience.

Nous avons passé des vacances fantastiques aux Granels, la propriété était spectaculaire et nos vacances en famille mémorables.
Nous sommes trois couples de la soixantaine venant du Colorado aux États-Unis qui aiment voyager, en particulier en Europe. Au cours des trois dernières années, nous avons voyagé en Italie, au Portugal, en Espagne et en France. Nous nous définirions comme des voyageurs indépendants appréciant le processus de recherche de destinations, de lieux de séjour, de location de voitures et de sorties pour découvrir toujours plus ce grand monde. Cela signifie bien sûr se perdre de temps en temps, trouver des restaurants fabuleux ou passables, et réserver des maisons ou des chambres d'hôtes. Mes cinq principales raisons d'aimer la Maison Charvin incluent : 5. Si après avoir voyagé dans de nombreuses régions du monde, vous trouvez que plus petit peut être meilleur, Maison Charvin (MC) est un excellent choix. Situé dans le village de Montlaur où il y a une petite épicerie et quelques autres petits commerces, les gens sont sympathiques et on se sent en sécurité. Il n'est pas trop loin d'un certain nombre de bonnes destinations. 4. Quatre chambres, toutes ensuite. Comme nous n'avons plus la vingtaine, nous préférons le confort et les commodités ! Les lits étaient confortables et chaque couple avait son propre espace tranquille. Nous préférons louer une chambre supplémentaire, donc, comme cela s'est produit lors de ce voyage, si une personne tombe malade ou souffre du décalage horaire et se réveille à 4 heures du matin, il y a une chambre supplémentaire. 3. Cuisine entièrement équipée. Vous pouvez chercher un article étrange comme un presse-ail en doutant qu'il y en ait un, et hop, le voilà, il y avait toujours ce dont nous avions besoin ! Je n'ai jamais séjourné dans un endroit où la cuisine était aussi bien équipée. 2. Valeur - valeur incroyable pour un séjour d'une semaine. Nous avons séjourné pendant le tarif basse saison, mais en regardant les tarifs, ce serait un bon rapport qualité-prix à tout moment de l'année. 1. Le propriétaire, Sharon. Dès le début des communications, elle a été utile et opportune dans ses réponses par courrier électronique à mes demandes de renseignements. Et toujours avec beaucoup d'humour. Plus tôt, j'ai mentionné que nous avions une maladie. Sharon nous a emmené ma femme et moi chez son médecin, a attendu avec nous, a traduit pour nous et est allée à la pharmacie pour s'assurer que nous recevions les bons médicaments. Il était facile de voir qu'elle voulait que ses clients aient la meilleure expérience possible. Si vous recherchez les petites villes du sud-ouest de la France, assurez-vous de visiter la Maison Charvin !
La maison était incroyable, nous y sommes allés en groupe, 6 adultes et 2 bébés et nous avons tous adoré la maison. Les photos sont fidèles à la réalité. La piscine est belle et parfaite pour les enfants car la partie profonde est encore suffisamment peu profonde pour qu'un adulte puisse se tenir debout. La cuisine est bien équipée et idéale pour cuisiner, il y a aussi un bon barbecue à l'extérieur. Le village local possède une charmante boulangerie, une boucherie et une petite boutique. Monpazier est à seulement 20 minutes en voiture et Fumel à seulement 20 minutes, où se trouve un grand supermarché. Samantha est une hôte formidable, elle était là pour tout ce dont nous avions besoin et nous a même réservé des massages. Nous reviendrons certainement dans la maison de Samantha, merci d'avoir rendu nos premières vacances en 4 ans si spéciales.
Nous avons passé un superbe séjour chez Kim. La maison est parfaite, la terrasse est au calme et vue magnifique sur les champs. Les petits se sont éclatés avec les chèvres, les oies, les poules et le poney !

Well, when Beverley told me she wanted to bring our children and grandchildren for a 'once in a lifetime' holiday, to celebrate our forthcoming 50th wedding anniversary in October, I must be honest I was negative and full of foreboding! But... Domaine de Nérige! Wow, what a place Bev found while I was moping around saying this won’t work. Not only was the location, 'in the middle of nowhere' absolutely perfect but the house was just beautiful with every facility we could possibly have wanted not to mention Sandie and David constantly going the extra mile if we needed advice. Thank you both for being the perfect hosts. We have not one negative word to say about this beautiful property - the rooms were comfortable, cooled where necessary with AC, the plethora of bathrooms is nothing short of extraordinary. Showers perfect and the supply of local wine and your own olive oil is truly the nicest touch. The games room, the space for kids to play on the terrace culminating in the fantastic pool was everything kids and the whole family would want. We didn’t need to leave here and, in fact, we probably did spend more time here that we would have in a 'run of the mill' villa. So finally, thank you to you both. We would love to see you both again but it would not be with such a heavy group of 'hangers on' although Bev’s decision for us to all be together this year was an inspirational one which worked perfectly. Everyone LOVED it.
Fantastic barn conversion, amazing location and wonderful facilities including a large swimming pool. Would highly recommend. The owner was super helpful throughout. The local villages have all the shops and services needed. We loved the rolling hills for jogging.
Lovely house and grounds. Playroom amazing. Generally well-appointed property. Check in and check out both very well done. Clear, concise and helpful. Loved it. Can't wait to come back.
Duras... I love cooking, the kitchen is wonderful and the city's market place is perfect for organising the perfect dinner.. the perfect kitchen is ready to prepare the table... the outdoor patio... the splendid terrace with a view of the valley or a dip in the swimming pool whilst having a barbecue!
