The acccommodation is beautifully presented with lots of lovely little touches. There's everything you need but if not the hosts are just next door and couldn't be more helpful. Vouvant is a very short walk away and has a handful of bars, restaurants and shops so you can just leave the car and relax if you really need to with off. We'd highly recommend a stay a The Piglet Barn and will most certainly be back.

We had a wonderful stay at Manoir de Fouilloux, my retired parents and children aged 8 and 11 had a truly relaxing stay with plenty to see and do locally. The house had plenty of space inside and lots of different areas outside to eat and relax. In particular we enjoyed spending time outside in the Moroccan terrace and kitchen and especially the evening when Ian and Hugh cooked for us when we took advantage of this as an extra option. Ian and Hugh were super helpful informing us of the local area which suited all ages so there was plenty to do for everyone. I would recommend hiring a car to explore the beautiful villages. The pool was well used in such hot weather with plenty of space for us all to relax and read as well as splash about with the children. The area was lovely and quiet so we were all able to switch off and spend quality time together as a family, plus with Ian and Hugh nearby we felt we had our own personal concierge service! They also provide a very useful guide which is in the house and also sent before our arrival. There has been so much attention to detail carried out in and outside the house and Ian and Hugh were fantastic with our many questions we had as we loved hearing about the work that went into it. We absolutely loved our time there and our 8 year old is now asking for a dog the same as Oscar! Thank you to Ian and Hugh for giving us such a memorable holiday, we felt truly spoilt staying in such a beautiful and well refurbished traditional house and can't wait to return one day!
This is our second family holiday in this wonderful house. The welcome from Ian and Hugh when we arrived was excellent. The house and garden are beautifully cared for and the standard of accommodation is 'five star'. It felt like home from home rather than a soleless rental property. Having the owners on site was a plus as they where able to guide us with local activities and restaurant recommendations... there is a lot to do in this area and being so close to some of the best wine regions in the world is definitely a big plus. We also has a lovely day in Bordeaux, which is an easy drive or train journey and well worth the effort. We plan to return next year for our summer break and I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful peaceful haven to anyone wishing to experience the best in hospitality! Un magnifique cottage avec une grande piscine privée et deux excellents restaurants à seulement 5 minutes à pied. Charmant.
In June, we stayed for a fortnight at L'Oliveraie. In the middle of the vineyards. Plenty of peace, space and beautiful views. The pool is great and beautiful views there too.
We had a wonderful week here. The house is spacious and beautifully furnished and the view was simply captivating. We particularly loved the changing colours on the mountains during sunset. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything you'd need for cooking on a large scale and the beds were extremely comfortable which was a major bonus. We spent the week pottering around the many smaller villages and towns close by and visiting markets in Gordes and Bonnieux and the boys made an excursion to Marseille to watch the football! We loved every minute of our stay and would love to return one day.
Would like to keep this place a secret. We had such an amazing stay, there was plenty of room inside and out. We knew the area quite well and there are plenty of activities for the kids and adults within 20 minutes drive. The accommodation is beautiful, clean and simply stunning! The children loved the spaces inside and out there was lots of areas to play and explore. Our hosts couldn’t have been nicer extremely helpful without too much intrusion. I’m not sure I want to leave such a good review as would like to keep this place a secret as we hope to book again. Thanks again Katie for a wonderful stay!
Nous sommes enchantés de notre séjour dans votre villa Signado. Au calme, dans un cadre verdoyant, les pieds dans l'eau et sous le soleil pendant deux semaines... ce fût génial !! Cette villa spacieuse et ce cadre extérieur invitent à une escapade de détente. Béziers, Pézenas, Sigean, Cap d'Agde, Sète... des détours récompensés par de très belles découvertes. Nous reviendrons, avec grand plaisir !

Notre immense gratitude pour avoir partagé la magie ce site fantastique et un aperçu de votre quotidien. Vous êtes les hôtes les plus charmants, prévenants et généreux. Vous nous avez fait nous sentir comme à la maison dès notre arrivée et tellement confortables et bienvenus tout le ong du séjour. Merci pour cela! Le Manoir est un pur trésor et ce fut pour nous un régal d'apprendre comment vous l'avez façonné et lui avez rendu sa splendeur. Nous nous souviendrons tout particulièrement d'avoir été gâtés avec la fantastique cuisine de Bruce (asperges à la Bruce et confit de canard chaudement recommandés!) et les délicieux desserts de Steve. À grande cuisine, grande ambiance! La semaine s'est trop vite écoulée et nous commençons donc à penser au retour, on en redemande encore! Un grand merci.
Perfect! Our stay in the L’Ancienne Etable was 5 star. Jane and Richard have thought of everything to make this the perfect pad for two. Peaceful and relaxing, we would highly recommend and hope to return again soon.

Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour, très pratique pour se promener en ville. Sarlat et ses environs sont magnifiques. La maison et l'emplacement sont parfaits. Cela vaut vraiment une nouvelle visite.
Merci beaucoup pour ces superbes vacances passées dans votre charmant village de Camirout. Cette année, la météo a été parfaite et nous avons vraiment apprécié nos excursions à Bordeaux, Saint-Émilion, les grottes et le canoë sur la rivière du Auemant-du-Dropt. Nous aurons la chance de nous revoir l'année prochaine, dans seulement 50 semaines !
Thanks for a great stay and making us feel so welcome - you were fantastic hosts. The accommodation was spotless and provided for every requirement. We really enjoyed the spaciousness of the Loft and the wonderful gardens, and of course the pool! Hopefully we will see you again in the future!
Couldn't keep the kids out of the pool it was so warm, especially in the evening when we sat on the terrace next to the pool with a glass of rosé. Everyone loved the roof terrace with its views. Thanks for a very warm welcome.
Nous avons passé 2 trés bonnes semaines dans la maison. La location correspond exactement aux photos publiées sur le site et elle était trés propre à notre arrivée. Les propriétaires nous ont fourni un large descriptif de la maison, des personnes à contacter en cas de soucis, des visites à faire nous permettant ainsi de passer notre séjouren toute tranquilité. Le proriétaire est facilement joignable; un agent est sur place en cas de soucis et une personne se charge de l'entretien de la piscine tous les 3 à 4 jours. La maison est idéale pour 2 couples avec enfants car il y a des chambres et 1 salle de bain au rez de chaussée et à l'étage. Nous conseillons vivement cette location et merci à Terry et Carol pour l'accueil.
Je voulais simplement vous remercier de nous avoir permis de séjourner dans votre merveilleuse demeure et ses jardins la semaine dernière. Aideen et moi avons passé de superbes vacances, en grande partie grâce au logement que vous proposez.
What a fabulous three weeks we have had staying with you at the Loft again. Thank you again for all your hard work preparing the Loft for our arrival and, of course, for your oh so warm hospitality! So many new memories for us to take home and we are coming to terms with the Boules Trophy making its way to Guernsey this year! Thank you so much for accommodating all the comings and goings of our family and friends again this year. As ever, we have loved spending time with with you and it's great to reflect that visit number four is already booked for 2020. We know we'll be in touch in the meantime.
The Piglet Barn, an amazing location. The hosts Annie and John were lovely and so welcoming , lemon drizzle cake, nibbles and wine, candles by the door. Would highly recommend for a very relaxing atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble for them . Thank you for a lovely week. Linda and Bernard x
We spent 2 wonderfully relaxing weeks in this beautiful spot. The house was fantastic - spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, super comfy beds and well kitted out with great attention to detail, plus an excellent pool to keep cool in. And those views over the green lake from the outside seating area were stunning! It was a perfect base to explore the area from and we had lots of fun in the lake too, paddle boarding and swimming. Nick and Nicky were absolutely lovely, making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Really appreciated the delicious welcome hamper too! Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

We had a great weekend with friends at Mas du Château. Everything was very clean, the house is comfortable and very well decorated, perfectly equipped. We were not able to take advantage of the swimming pool because of the weather. Excellent communication before our arrival and during our stay, very responsive host. Thank you Christophe, we recommend without a second thought!!
Nous venons dans le sud de la France depuis plus de 20 ans, et la Maison Theron est le meilleur hébergement que nous ayons connu. La décoration, le mobilier et la literie étaient d'une telle qualité que nous avions l'impression de séjourner dans un hôtel de charme ! La personne chargée de l'entretien a fait un travail remarquable : la maison était d'une propreté impeccable à notre arrivée. Un grand merci, nous reviendrons sans aucun doute !
It’s hard to know where to begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. Your property is so well set up and we made good use of the barbecue, tennis court, boules, darts, table tennis and of course, the pool which beats all other swimming pools we’ve ever had on holiday... and the shady areas when the sun got just that bit too hot. So much thought has obviously gone into it all and it made our holiday very special. The four teenage grandchildren we had with us had a ball and we all loved the Lot countryside, its villages and the sunflowers. How can you not be happy when you’ve got fields of them within a few steps from your door? The two Marches Gourmands we went to at Tournon and Saux were brilliant fun - the food on offer at Saux was particularly good and Tournon is such a pretty place. Our daughter loved going for early morning runs, seeing a hare and on two occasions, a deer, amongst sunflowers. Swimming in the Lot, cycling and canoeing are all on our list of favourite things we did. We also have a great picture of three of the red squirrels on the tree near the bolet - what a brilliant place for breakfast. Thank you so very much from all of us. Stylish, well-equipped 'home from home' house in a great location. Narbonne is a delightful town with many good facilities. The pool and outside is a real bonus. We had a very good stay.

One of the loveliest and peaceful lodgings of my two week 1000+km driving tour of South Western France. La Petite Maison Générille is nestled in verdant hills overlooking the most beautiful natural and historical settings in all of France. Though it is located in a hamlet enclave that feels worlds away, it is so conveniently located to access many châteaux, stunning river drives with views of the "falaises" - the ancient cliffs, and numerous restaurants found in charming villages that won't disappoint! Alll within a 10 to 20 minute drive. This is a place that you will want to return to again and again!
