A gorgeous home, with so much to offer! 3 min walk into the beautiful bustling town of Pezenas and you have the tranquility of pool and garden! The pool was a welcome relief from the heat and very welcome after a day out exploring the area! We had some great fun playing table tennis and darts in the games room. We had a wonderful holiday, the lovely, very comfortable and well decorated home facilitated this!

One of the best family holidays we have had, spacious King sized beds. A truly amazing space with all the creature comforts of a high end home.
Pour commencer, le lieu est tout simplement magique. Il permet de toucher du doigt ce qu'est la vie de château. Et surtout la qualité de l'accueil des hôtes est tout simplement exceptionnelle. L'espace a disposition est très spacieux, la qualité des infrastructures est parfaite et lorsque tout cela est emballé dans un papier de soie de gentillesse et de serviabilité, on touche au sublime.
Nous sommes une famille de 4 personnes qui avons décidé de découvrir le Périgord. Nous avons regardé cette propriété et sommes tombés amoureux de l'extérieur : le château lui-même et le magnifique jardin avec piscine. La décoration intérieure était unique car il y avait un très joli salon avec un piano qui me rappelait le style du 18ème siècle tandis que la salle à manger avait des éléments plus médiévaux. Le deuxième étage comportait de nombreuses chambres, ce qui était très bien pour le reste de notre famille qui nous a rejoint plus tard. À cet étage, il y a aussi une deuxième salle de télévision où tous les adolescents traînaient. Nous avons dîné à l'intérieur le matin et dehors le soir. Nous avons apprécié les barbecues et (beaucoup) de bon vin. Les voisins, qui sont également des amis du propriétaire, étaient très serviables et gentils. Nous avons découvert toutes sortes d'attractions comme visiter des châteaux, déguster du vin, faire du kayak sur la Dordogne et assister à de grandes fêtes organisées par différents villages tout au long de l'été. Bref, nous avons beaucoup apprécié nos vacances dans ce magnifique château ! Nous reviendrons certainement pour d'autres vacances.
Nous avons passé un moment des plus merveilleux dans votre charmante maison. Bien que nous n'étions que 4, nous avons profité au maximum de l'espace extérieur disponible, mangeant chaque repas dans une partie différente, en suivant l'ombre. Vous avez été les hôtes les plus parfaits et nous espérons vous revoir un jour.
Il était tout à fait approprié de séjourner dans cette maison et de s'immerger dans le village médiéval de Sarlat ! Se détendre au bord de la piscine avec un verre de vin frais était parfait après une longue journée de balade dans la ville ou dans la magnifique Dordogne !
Un cadre parfait où se détendre et passer notre semaine de vacances. Nous avons apprécié la maison spacieuse, le jardin et la piscine ainsi que le merveilleux temps chaud ! Les villages pittoresques à proximité ont vraiment été une expérience spectaculaire. Nous avons passé une très belle semaine à la villa. Nous aurions aimé rester plus longtemps mais nos vacances sont maintenant terminées et nous repartons dans le Nord.

Une merveilleuse semaine passée dans cette magnifique villa. Nous avons passé un moment très agréable à visiter le Château de Monbazillac, Montcaret et Bordeaux. Nous avons tous passé un moment fantastique à la piscine. Les enfants ne voulaient pas en sortir ! Merci à Frédéric pour son accueil chaleureux à notre arrivée. Nous serions ravis de revenir.
Encore une semaine merveilleuse dans un cadre magnifique, avec des hôtes charmants. Il a fait très chaud, mais la piscine était parfaite et les ventilateurs dans les chambres nous ont permis de rester au frais la nuit. Côté ornithologie, le bilan a été à la hauteur de nos attentes habituelles : nous avons observé 21 espèces, avec un coup de cœur particulier pour les huppes. Les plantations sont très intéressantes et nous ont donné des idées pour notre propre jardin ! Nous reviendrons !

Our family stayed at the Mas de Lozanne for two weeks and it was a resounding success with us all. The property was exactly as described in the details and photographs - light airy rooms, a beautiful garden and one of the best pools I've ever seen in a private house. The air conditioning was very welcome as we were there in a heatwave! Dom and Ina looked after us very well and answered all our queries. Pèzenas is a lovely little place and we certainly hope to return. I had never heard of Pure France before coming across them on the net and it's always a slightly scary thing to send several thousand Euros 'into the ether' in this age of Internet scams. However I need not have worried as this agency was extremely efficient and straightforward in all our dealings, answering my queries by return. I would like to thank them and would certainly recommend them.

We loved the site; very peaceful and relaxing, despite the suburban setting. Everything you need is here! Pézenas is a beautiful place and we also liked Meze, Tourbes and especially enjoyed kayaking down the Hérault river.
A great week where 3 generations could spend time together relaxing around the comfortable farmhouse, great pool and expansive gardens. The house was very well equipped and being mostly fortunate with the weather, we ate outside on the terraces making full use of the BBQ provided. Monpazier is delightful and Villereal has a wonderfully colourful market. We thoroughly recommend this property as a holiday choice.
The hosts were exceptional: always available whenever we needed anything, yet rarely seen, striking the perfect balance between being helpful and giving us complete privacy. Their thoughtfulness was evident from the moment we arrived, with welcome drinks waiting in the fridge, toiletries provided and even barbecue essentials ready to go. Those little touches made us feel genuinely welcome. The cottage itself is remarkable: beautifully presented, exceptionally well equipped and finished to a fantastic standard, with superb appliances throughout. It had everything we needed for a comfortable, relaxing stay. Outside was absolute heaven. Surrounded by peaceful, rolling French countryside, the outdoor space and brilliant swimming pool created the perfect setting for long, lazy days together. It was fantastic for the children and equally enjoyable for the adults. The location was ideal, with supermarkets and everything else we needed conveniently nearby. The spectacular bastide town of Monpazier is only a short drive away and is a real highlight of the area. Lots of great activities for the family, all in striking distance for a day out. Canoeing, caves, 100 year old theme parks! The children were so impressed (and tired at night!) that it made our holiday both relaxing and fun for us all. We were absolutely devastated to come home! In our opinion, Monpazier Cottage offers outstanding value for money. A truly special place, wonderful hosts and a holiday we will remember for a long time. We will definitely be back!

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans votre maison confortable et charmante. Nous pouvons recommander les produits laitiers de l'agriculteur local et l'une de nos visites préférées aura été Chinon. Nous avons aussi découvert le vin de Savennières qui est un vrai régal. Nous aimerions revenir bientôt!
Fabulous house, beautifully decorated with everything we could possibly need for a lovely holiday. The pool and pool toys were a great hit with our 4 year old. We have holidayed numerous times in France and this was by far the best, from the welcoming email to the comfy beds and linen. Mark and Janet have made this a beautiful holiday home. We had a hot week and made the most of being at home! Thank you for a lovely stay! P.S. The Tuesday night market in Laparade was fun and definitely worth a visit! Our daughter loved her bedroom + the toys kept her occupied in the morning!

What a fantastic stay in a fantastic house, all the amenities you could wish for and more. We’ve enjoyed the pool, table tennis tournaments, playing pool and lounging under the fig trees. The market in Nyons on a Thursday was amazing, we visited St Paul trois châteaux, Seguret and many other places. The house exceeded our expectations and the Drome, Provence is beautiful , we will be back and thank you for creating such a haven for everyone to experience and enjoy.
La Villa du Château est tout simplement exceptionnelle. Cette demeure historique classée, magnifiquement restaurée, a été rénovée avec le plus grand soin et offre un niveau de confort et d'équipements remarquable. Une mention spéciale s'impose pour l'espace piscine et la cuisine d'été extérieure : leur conception est superbe et permet de passer toute la journée dehors — du petit-déjeuner au dîner, en passant par le déjeuner et le goûter — sans jamais avoir besoin de retourner à la maison principale. La propriété bénéficie d'un emplacement idéal, à seulement deux minutes à pied du Château de Duras et du cœur du village — où se trouvent tous les commerces et commodités — tout en jouissant d'une tranquillité absolue. Les recommandations de Claire, tant avant que pendant notre séjour, nous ont permis de profiter pleinement de la maison ainsi que de la région environnante.
