Tout ce que vous pourriez demanders'y trouve - beaucoup d'espace, une maison bien équipée, une intimité totale. Très relaxant, j'ai apprécié la baignade en rivière à Ribeaut et le charmant village de Lagrasse. Beaucoup de pain dans les magasins locaux. Quel endroit merveilleux, avec la campagne des Corbières à deux pas. Tant d'endroits à voir et à découvrir, nous avons tout aimé.

Heaven on Earth. Our two week stay at Villa Chiavari was an absolute dream; I could not be more enthusiastic in recommending this home to anyone looking to spend their vacation in a veritable paradise. We were 2 couples, 3 children and 1 grandparent and booked an 'off-season' holiday at the end of September. Not long after our arrival we realised a major perk of booking 'off season': uncrowded beaches with absolutely perfect summer weather! Villa Chiavari's spectacular ocean-view infinity pool is surrounded by lounge-chairs and palm trees and bordered by a lush garden... good luck ever tearing yourself away. I should also mention that this lavish pool area is accessible by both the main living quarters of the house and by the bedrooms, which we found extremely convenient for our kids and elderly grandparent. Pool amenities also include a shaded lounge and dining area (also with an ocean view), a barbecue, outdoor refrigerator, pool toys and floats and easy access to a downstairs kitchenette. The grounds at the front of the house include a lush garden, an elevated hammock-hideaway in a quiet shady corner and an outdoor eating area punctuated by a lovely little fountain. The bedrooms are attractively furnished, comfortable and very clean. Five out of six have full attached bathrooms. All bedrooms are equipped with Wi-Fi and air conditioning, as is the main area of the house. The upstairs living/dining/den areas are elegant yet cozy at the same time and the entire back 'wall' of this floor is composed of large sliding glass doors that open onto a beautiful terrace running the length of the entire villa. There is a dining area and lounge on this upper terrace as well! The kitchen has every piece of equipment you can think of and if you're looking for the ultimate in extravagance, the owners will set you up with your own chef. They arranged for us a very personable French cook who prepared truly delicious, fresh meals that even our children were not afraid to eat. Sublime. Speaking of kids, families will find this home very child-safe. There are gates on stairways, the entire property is fenced-in (artfully disguised by beautiful flowers and foliage) and there is a smattering of children's furniture (highchair etc) available for use. We were also really comforted by the fact that the owners of this home are easily reached and are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be booking again and I encourage anyone interested in perfection to do the same!
La Maison Baleyssagues est charmante. C'est aussi beau que sur les photos, les lits sont super confortables, la cuisine très bien équipée et l'espace piscine et les terrasses extérieures sont charmants, dont une terrasse avec vue et des couchers de soleil magnifiques. Le gestionnaire est extrêmement serviable et a fait de son mieux pour nous aider à résoudre certains problèmes que nous avons rencontrés. Merci! Nous reviendrons.
Merci pour ce agréable séjour au Mas des Rivailles. Notre famille de cinq personnes y a séjourné pendant deux semaines en août 2023 et nous avons passé un très bon moment. Il est très spacieux et moderne, avec toutes les commodités nécessaires pour un séjour confortable. La température de la piscine était parfaite et nous avons trouvé l'eau salée assez agréable. Les transats et l'aménagement de la piscine permettent des moments de détente au bord de la piscine et nous avons apprécié particulièrement la très grande salle de jeux avec table de ping-pong, billard et baby-foot ainsi que de nombreux jouets pour nos trois enfants. Les chambres étaient propres et équipées de draps de qualité et de serviettes moelleuses ainsi que d'un espace de rangement suffisant pour nos affaires. La buanderie/cellier était également très utile pour stocker de la nourriture et laver nos vêtements facilement. Frédéric était serviable et attentif comme toujours et a rendu notre séjour très confortable, faisant venir des ventilateurs supplémentaires lorsque nous en avons fait la demande, car notre séjour coïncidait avec une vague de chaleur. La famille du propriétaire qui vit dans la ferme voisine était très sympathique et serviable et a répondu à tous nos problèmes. L'emplacement de la maison est également idéal pour explorer la région avec de nombreuses villes et activités intéressantes à quelques minutes en voiture. Nous le recommanderons certainement ! Merci pour ce beau séjour. La maison est très confortable et constitue une base idéale pour explorer la région. Les moments forts ont été Dinan, Le Mont-Saint-Michel et Faugères. Nous avons aussi aimé conduire à travers la campagne. La boulangerie de Bazouges-la-Pérouse était fantastique ! Nous avons adoré le panier de bienvenue - c'était un cadeau tellement attentionné et utile. Merci pour ce merveilleux séjour!
Unusually for a rental, both the house and cottage are exceptionally stylishly decorated. Elegant yet tranquil, each space has a different but harmonious feel. It has all the comforts you could possibly want, including a well stocked kitchen, recently re-done and so thoughtfully laid out, it is a joy to cook in. The garden has been planted so prettily, as you look out beyond the sweeping beds of fragrant lavender, to the gently rolling fields beyond. The Persian garden is just ravishing, certainly unique and the water features most pleasing. The infinity pool is generously sized for those who enjoy their lengths, the water temperature just right. The property itself is tucked away at the end of a tiny, yet enchanting and very peaceful hamlet. It is in a corner of France which is heaven for foodies, spoilt for choice with plenty of markets, lovely produce and an excellent offering of local restaurants.
We have had at the perfect family holiday at Le Manoir de Duras. The tomatoes from the garden were a delicious bonus! We all loved the pool and laying on the sun beds late a night watching the stars. Has some great meals in town and daily boulangerie too. A trip to the chocolate factory is a must. perfect on a rainy day for the kids! The house is absolutely stunning. were all agree one of the best places we've ever stayed. Thank you.
We highly recommend Maison Four à Chaux, we had a great holiday in this amazing property which was clean, very comfortable and very spacious inside and out. Lovely large heated pool and an excellent games barn which included skittles alley and table tennis. We were greeted by Yvonne who was great and very knowledgeable of the local area and was easily contactable (as were the owners) if there was any issues (which there weren't). We would definitely recommend Maison Four à Chaux.
Quel endroit absolument incroyable ! Les propriétaires étaient extrêmement accueillants et aux petits soins pour nous durant notre séjour. Le château et son domaine invitent à la détente dès l'arrivée. On y trouve de l'espace à profusion et tout le confort nécessaire. Un lieu incontournable pour des vacances réussies.
L'appartement était super propre et dispose de tout ce dont vous avez besoin. La vue est encore plus belle que sur les photos ! L'emplacement est magnifique - à pied de tout. Plage, piscine, épicerie, activités nautiques, marina, des tonnes de restaurants. La terrasse extérieure est un vrai régal. La cuisine a tout ce dont vous aurez besoin pour cuisiner. Équipements haut de gamme, tout est neuf. Le lave-linge/sèche-linge a été très utile. La vue sur la piscine à débordement est époustouflante ! Endroit sûr et très privé. Je ne voulais pas partir ! Première fois sur la Côte d'Azur et j'espère pas la dernière. Vacances de rêve!
We have at last found paradise in a place we could all share. Thank you for sharing this beautiful, peaceful house. The countryside for early morning sun, endless swim day and night. The bird watching and the lazing in the shade. We had great fun wine tasting locally and having been blessed with stunning weather we have had long al fresco meal every day. I think we have made the most of all the games and puzzles inside and out and no TV! À bientôt!
For the last 10 years, a whole group of friends and now growing amount of children have been going on holidays. We found Mas de la Rivière by chance by doing a search for 'a big house to rent in France'. Well the house is huge! We were so pleased and extremely surprised to see how much space they were when we arrived. The owners were away but we were greeted buy lovely girl where everything was and how everything worked. The house is child friendly with a huge swimming pool (with a slide). A huge trampoline, climbing frame / slide / swings and table tennis. There is enough bikes for all the kids to ride around the gardens and woods around the property are vast. We were told to help ourselves to their fruit and vegetables. The kitchen was really well equipped with lots of child friendly stuff like cups and plates etc. The rooms all had ensuite bathrooms and were extremely comfortable with good mattresses and fans in all the rooms. Mid week the lovely cleaners came and changed all the bedding and towels and cleaned all the bathrooms. The house has Wi-Fi throughout with meant that some of us could work if needed. And of course browse Facebook and Instagram.
Deux semaines agréables et reposantes dans la plus belle des villas ! Une villa spacieuse et incroyable qui a été parfaite pour notre famille avec beaucoup d'espace pour nous tous. Nous avons absolument adoré la piscine et y étions tous les jours ! Nos vacances ont été rendues encore plus spéciales par notre hôte attentionné, Philippe. Philippe nous a très bien accueillis avec de délicieux vins et du pain, nous a gâtés avec des viennoiseries pour le petit-déjeuner et a apprécié un délicieux repas au Pourquoi Pas. L'emplacement était génial et nous avons apprécié de parler à la boulangère tous les jours et de profiter des sorties dans les villages voisins. Mais la plupart du temps, nous profitions simplement de la villa ! En tant qu'amoureux des chats, nous adorions les chats que nous voyions dans les jardins et leur fournissions de l'eau pendant les journées chaudes et des friandises ! Merci beaucoup pour ces vacances très agréables !
Un grand merci à nos hôtes. Un accueil très chaleureux, plein de bons conseils pour nous permettre de passer un agréable séjour. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié d’avoir 3 sdb qui nous a donné beaucoup de confort et surtout la mise à disposition de nombreux vélos en très bon état qui nous ont permis de faire de superbes ballades. Le jardin est très agréable et propice à créer de beaux souvenirs de we barbecue - piscine entre amis.

Merci pour ce merveilleux séjour à Camirout. Nos vacances n'ont pas commencé comme prévu à cause de la compagnie aérienne, mais nous sommes très reconnaissants que vous ayez fait les courses pour nous. Étant donné notre retard et le jour férié pour la fête nationale le lendemain, vous nous avez vraiment beaucoup aidés. Merci. À part notre traditionnelle excursion à Bordeaux, nous n'avons pas fait grand-chose cette année, si ce n'est nous détendre à Camirout, ce qui est si facile grâce aux magnifiques espaces que vous avez aménagés. Vous faites tous les deux un travail formidable ici et nous vous en sommes vraiment reconnaissants. Nous espérons tous revenir l'année prochaine sans retard ni annulation. Encore une fois, merci beaucoup.
Endroit très privé et paisible où séjourner. Excellents équipements. La maison était charmante, propre et spacieuse avec toutes les installations nécessaires. En suivant les conseils concernant l'ouverture et la fermeture des volets, etc., nous avons pu trouver de l'ombre et de la fraîcheur à chaque fois que nous en avions besoin. La piscine était également propre et agréable à utiliser - un grand soulagement pendant la partie la plus chaude de la journée. Les boulangeries de Saint-Valentin et de Bivet étaient super (comme partout ailleurs). Intermarché à Bivet s'est avéré pratique mais d'autres sont également disponibles dans d'autres directions. Les excursions en fin d'après-midi à Marseille, Aix-en-Provence sont parfaites et le stationnement est très simple. L'excursion matinale à Cassis pour se rendre à la mer a également été un grand succès. Le stationnement y est bon le matin mais semble beaucoup plus fréquenté plus tard dans la journée.
As per other reviews the house was great with stunning views. All the things you need to have a great holiday. The weather was still hot with some days in the mid 30s, so we took advantage of the swimming pool and relaxed around the house. The house is a great location for cycling, there is the obvious challenge of Mount Ventoux and there are some excellent roads in the surrounding area with stunning scenery. For those interested in wine then I would highly recommend Paul from Rhône wine tours. He came to the house and we did wine tasting with him and we learnt about wines of the Rhône valley, while the kids played in the pool. Great if you don't want to take a tour with kids at the winery.
We really like the idea of returning to Les Jumelles. We loved it and have such fond memories of our time there. Our children really loved the pool and the beautiful garden, with space for all the activities including table tennis, badminton, and football.

Would give 10 stars if I could- wonderful stay. The house was so clean and well prepared for us. Felt luxury rustic. There was great detail put into the design. Easy communication with the owner. Great location down a picturesque street and easy to get in and out of Gordes town. Would definitely stay here again.

Grande maison pour un séjour en famille... parfait pour les adultes et les petits enfants de notre groupe. Nous avons adoré l'emplacement paisible et la faune locale... les superbes vues ainsi que l'observation des oiseaux! Maison confortable et très bien équipée pour les passionnés de cuisine! De nombreux salons extérieurs agréables... et une piscine fabuleuse. Nous n'avons pas beaucoup exploré la région mais je recommanderais vivement Monpazier qui était charmant.
