Simply a wonderful holiday, house and village We're just back from spending a week in this fabulous house in a great little village. The house had everything to make our stay totally comfortable with loads of space for our party of two couples and could have accommodated two or three more people easily. The pool and pool area were great with plenty of loungers and seating with a nice shaded area for refuge from the sun at the hight of the afternoon but best of all there is a great terrace where we spent the warm evenings with a glass or three of our favourite tipple. We were able to join in the fun and celebrations in the local bars as France progressed in the World Cup, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The village itself has all we would want bakeries, a couple of bars and restaurants with pretty good food and all just 1 to 2 minutes walk from the house, there is even a good supermarket 5 minutes walk away. All in all we had a great holiday and can't wait to go back next year, 5 stars from us.
Un accueil très sympathique. Le lieu est très calme tout en permettant les visites des sites touristiques. La cuisine est très bien équipée. Nous avons apprécié de découvrir l'histoire familiale (qui gère le musée Napoléon tout proche)
Merci à Pascal et Julien pour votre accueil chaleureux dans votre fabuleuse maison. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié vos efforts pour trouver une chaise haute pour Hatta, qui a passé ses premières vraies vacances. De merveilleuses vacances en famille dont nous nous souviendrons toujours. Notre moment préféré a été de jouer dans la piscine. Nous avons apprécié Aubeterre et son église souterraine, Brantôme et le marché de Ribérac.

I'd like to thank you for the fantastic stay we had in your amazing cottage Maison Bourg Calès. It was simply beautiful and my family and I absolutely loved every second of our stay. The weather was brilliant and there aren't enough words to describe how stunning your cottage is. We would definitely stay there again and will highly recommend it to any friends. At Les Oliviers du Sud we felt like God in France as usual. From the sunny terrace, with a glass of wine in hand, a cheese nearby, we enjoyed the vines in the valley below us in ‘deafening’ silence, watched the olives come out of the blossom and listened to the cheerful twittering of the birds. The flat of the ever friendly and helpful hosts Esther and Leonard is furnished with taste. A touch of nostalgia with the look of today. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom is comfortable. Everything not only looks new, but is new. From the first moment, we felt at home here. The nearby forests invite you to go for a nice walk. By the way, you can walk everywhere in the area. Tip: the route along the medieval village of La Roque-sur-Ceze with the waterfalls nearby. In the village of Tresques, near Domaine Cadignac, we imagined ourselves in the France of old. A medieval tower with an exhibition of contemporary art, a bakery and grocery shop, a water spring where the villagers tap their daily drinking water and a good winemaker. Where do you still find these villages? The residence is conveniently located for visiting larger cities. Half an hour’s drive and you are in Orange with memories of the Dutch royal house or in the papal city of Avignon, where you can browse in one of those real French bric-a-brac markets in a suburb every Saturday morning. Or you can walk around Nîmes Collesseum after an hour’s drive and have visited the impressive aqueduct built by Romans on the way there. The ancient city centre of Nîmes and of historic Avignon are also an eldorado for funshoppers. In short, the fully equipped and rustic L'Oliveraie was an ideal base for us to (re)discover French nature and culture. We will definitely come back here again!
Nous avons passé 2 semaines vraiment très agréables dans cette jolie maison située sur les collines de Fréjus. Située dans un endroit très calme, la maison est confortable et très bien équipée avec du joli mobilier.
Superbe maison spacieuse avec beaucoup d'espace pour notre famille de 6 adultes, tant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur avec une grande piscine. Conviendrait aussi à 2 familles partant en vacances ensemble. Endroit tranquille avec l'essentiel des commodités non loin à pied: supermarché, boucher, etc.. et accès facile en voiture aux villages voisins et à Béziers. Nous avons passé du bon temps ici et nous le recommanderions sans hésitation.
Fabulous house accommodating everyone in comfort, superb location and fantastic views. The family particularly enjoyed the warm pool and al fresco dining. Lorraine who greeted us was super friendly and helpful, responding quickly when we had questions. Highly recommend this property
Nous y avons séjourné maintenant à cinq reprises et nous reviendrons. L'hébergement a tout ce dont vous pourriez souhaiter dans un logement indépendant et la piscine est superbe. De jolis petits villages à visiter à proximité ainsi que Nice, Cannes, Saint-Tropez et Monaco tous facilement accessibles. Trajet facile en voiture depuis l'aéroport de Nice jusqu'à cet endroit très paisible.
Agréable séjour, la maison est très bien située. Nous avons aimé le Palm Beach Club à Les Vagues. Dans l'ensemble, une superbe semaine.

We have stayed in some lovely properties in France, but this has to be the very best. We appreciated everything you both so generously provided to make our stay so very comfortable. Right from the moment we arrived we felt welcome. We enjoyed our visits to Carcassonne, Narbonne and Minerve, and our boat trip on the Canal du Midi from Capestang and our trip to the Abbeye de Fontfroide. We had a superb meal in Restaurant d'Alibert in Caunes Minervois. Thank you so much for everything. We have had such a lovely fortnight and will miss this haven of beauty, peace and comfort for quite sometime. We hope to visit again - it sure is tough to leave here.
Un excellent séjour. Une demeure magnifique, pleine d'histoire et d'une beauté impressionnante. Nous étions ravis d'y séjourner. Les conseils donnés par Mme de Maleville ont été si précieux pour nous, surtout pour les tables à fréquenter dans le coin. Nous y reviendrons, certainement.
Nous étions un groupe de 7 adultes et avons passé une semaine absolument fabuleuse dans votre villa. Il est très rare qu’une villa fonctionne à tous les niveaux, mais la vôtre l’a vraiment fait. Tellement d’espace – et si bien pensé, avec absolument tout ce dont on pourrait avoir besoin. Et oui – bien mieux que ne le laissaient penser les photos. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le fromage et le vin à notre arrivée – le pain et le pâté durant la semaine – et bien sûr le repas à La Tour, qui était tout simplement incroyable ! Nous avons bien profité des vélos (malgré le froid et l’humidité !) et sommes allés plusieurs fois jusqu’à Montady (une belle balade sur la piste cyclable). Nous avons visité Béziers, Carcassonne et Minerve – mais surtout – nous avons pu nous détendre, discuter et rire ! Merci Philippe. Quelle semaine formidable.
Comfortable house on the edge of Seillans village with lovely views. Great terrace for outdoor eating and a lovely, well maintained pool. Air conditioning in the bedrooms was lovely and silent. Good location for exploring the area, though you could easily just stay put, relax, eat at the local restaurants and shop at the well stocked local Carrefour. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and fully intend to come back.
Un endroit luxueux avec la plus belle piscine chauffée et une vue sur la Méditerranée. La piscine et sa vue constituent l'essentiel de la propriété. Elle est absolument impeccable, parfaitement chauffée à 30 degrés et bénéficie d'une piscine à débordement qui ajoute à l'ambiance luxueuse. Il y a un plongeoir et un toboggan aquatique amusant, ainsi que des chaises longues en mousse. La terrasse est également magnifique avec de nombreux transats et sièges, ainsi qu'une table pour les repas. L'intérieur de la propriété est spacieux avec des antiquités intéressantes et les chambres sont climatisées, ce qui est charmant même s'il y a de toute façon beaucoup d'ombre pendant les journées chaudes. La voiture peut être garée juste à côté de la villa pour faciliter le transport des bagages et les courses au supermarché, etc. Dans l'ensemble, Les Fumerates ressemble à un coin de paradis, paisible et calme, et il est difficile de s'en arracher malgré la proximité facile de la côte. La piscine est l'attraction vedette, toujours agréable d'y nager même en fin de soirée, et possède un toboggan, un plongeoir et des chaises longues flottantes si vous le souhaitez. La terrasse et la piscine sont éclairées la nuit et l'atmosphère calme et luxueuse font qu'il est presque impossible d'en sortir malgré la proximité de quelques beaux endroits à visiter !
Notre séjour ici est excellent : nous avons tout ce dont nous avons besoin pour passer d'excellentes vacances dans votre maison très confortable avec une vue fantastique mais relaxante sur les tournesols et les Pyrénées. Un grand merci pour le panier que vous nous avez laissé, nous l'apprécions ! On l'a vite compris : cette semaine sera bien trop courte…
A gorgeous home, with so much to offer! 3 min walk into the beautiful bustling town of Pezenas and you have the tranquility of pool and garden! The pool was a welcome relief from the heat and very welcome after a day out exploring the area! We had some great fun playing table tennis and darts in the games room. We had a wonderful holiday, the lovely, very comfortable and well decorated home facilitated this!
“Nice villa within easy access (20 min saunter) to the city centre. Pretty pool area and nice pool, with mature trees and bushes giving good shelter if the wind picks up. Very private with good access to sun from late-morning. Supermarkets within very easy walking distance.
Quel endroit merveilleux où se retrouver après un long et pénible voyage! Propriété magnifiquement aménagée. Décorée avec style et super confortable pour nous 8. Le village était magnifique et paisible. Nous avons adoré le restaurant et son poulailler ! Un énorme merci pour de merveilleuses vacances.
We have just returned from a fabulous fortnight. The listing and reviews stated the house was comfy and well equipped, well I can totally vouch for that. We wanted for nothing. Beds are very comfy, the outdoor area is outstanding. Everything you could want is to hand. One, if not the best pool we've ever used and Martyn keeps it spotless everyday. The owners are on hand if needed or not. The village is excellent, a short walk with a restaurant. Highly recommended and we'll be back.
Nous voulions juste vous remercier pour cette belle semaine dans votre belle maison. C'est un endroit magique et nous en avons déjà de bons souvenirs. Merci d'avoir fait en sorte que Suzanne cuisine pour nous. Ses dîners ont été un franc succès et ses sorbets surprises ont suscité l'intrigue les deux soirs ! Nous espérons revenir à l'avenir et nous avons hâte de vous revoir.
Amazing space of the house led to us having the best family holiday ever for 9 adults and three young children. The outdoor areas are equally fantastic, the pool, Japanese garden with pizza oven was greatly appreciated and we would love to come back and see our host Katie again.
