We have had the most relaxing Fantastic, self indulged weeks stay here. Thank you so much for letting us stay in this beautiful place. We will definitely be coming again and bringing our chidren and their partners.
Magnifique maison pour des vacances en famille, commodités de plain-pied et belle piscine avec bonne protection par alarme. Également un endroit idéal pour profiter de l'extérieur avec machine à pizza, barbecue et cuisine fonctionnelle très facile à utiliser. Beaucoup d'espaces salons extérieurs ombragés. La climatisation dans les chambres était un avantage considérable par temps chaud. De beaux meubles et nous nous sentions chez nous dans cette maison de famille heureuse. Accès facile à la boulangerie, au supermarché et au restaurant local, le tout à moins de 5 minutes à pied. Merci.
C'est une fabuleuse villa avec des espaces et des zones de détente magnifiques, spacieux et différents, parfaite pour les grands groupes ou les familles - la piscine est magnifique. Tout a été pensé et la disponibilité de vélos pour tous les âges est excellente, surtout quand on est si près du canal du midi. Les propriétaires sont très attentifs et sympathiques et tout, des gâteries généreuses à l'arrivée, au fabuleux repas (merci!) Aux pâtisseries et au pain du matin est top, et les meilleurs conseils sur le vin et les excursions d'une journée sont fournis facilement, et à chaque fois des super suggestions. Un endroit charmant et certainement un lieu où vous voudrez revenir.
Je tiens à vous exprimer nos remerciements pour nous avoir fourni une belle propriété dans un bon emplacement pour nos vacances. Après avoir visité quelques villes locales, Pézenas était notre préférée et nous étions si heureux de pouvoir séjourner si près. Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour et je suis sûr que nous y reviendrons. Merci !
Idyllique et détente absolue C'était notre premier séjour en Charente et nous avons adoré La Charmante Distillerie. Dès notre arrivée, nous nous sommes sentis détendus. La piscine et les terrasses offraient une vue imprenable et un calme absolu. L'intérieur était joliment meublé et nous avons apprécié le clin d'œil à l'ancienne distillerie et à son histoire. De nombreuses activités étaient proposées en famille et nous avons adoré observer les étoiles grâce au télescope mis à disposition. Mark a impeccablement entretenu le terrain et la piscine. Nous avons apprécié l'accès au jardin d'herbes aromatiques et aux arbres fruitiers. Je tiens également à souligner l'excellente connexion internet, qui a permis à nos adolescents de se détendre dans le coin détente de la mezzanine, tandis que les plus jeunes ont adoré jouer dans le bac à sable et sur le portique. Je recommande vivement cet endroit !
Beautiful and very well kept. A lots of thought had gone into creating a family holiday home. facilities very good, all that was needed and more. So child friendly and safe. Hope we can come again. Many thanks for a wonderful week.
Mas du Château was simply perfect. It was spotless, comfortable, peaceful and he was a wonderful host; nothing was too much trouble. We couldn’t have asked for anything more and didn’t want to leave.
Merci de nous avoir offert deux semaines incroyables dans votre maison. La piscine est l'une des meilleures que nous ayons vues et le jardin est tout simplement magnifique. La villa est joliment décorée et nous l'avons tous trouvée très confortable. Nous avons passé deux belles semaines à explorer les environs, sans une seule minute de télévision ! Nous aimerions revenir un jour. Merci beaucoup!
Nous avons opté cette année pour des vacances « au vert » avec 2 couples d’amis et leurs enfants (au total 6 adultes et 5 enfants) et avons eu la main très heureuse avec notre location. Ce n’est jamais facile avec internet, et là quelle belle découverte à l’arrivée : une énorme maison superbement rénovée. Grand confort dans cette belle bâtisse en pierres, dans un cadre naturel très préservé. Les chambres sont magnifiques et particulièrement grandes, les 2 chambres en mezzanine ont été occupées par les enfants en y ajoutant un couchage supplémentaire. Les espaces collectifs sont aussi très soignés (confort, déco) et agréables à vivre, mention spéciale pour la cuisine équipée de matériel professionnel, spacieuse et pourvue de bien plus que le nécessaire. La piscine est encore plus grande qu’elle ne paraît en photo. Pour les plus petits enfants nous la fermions avec le volet électrique, pratique et efficace. Le jardin est propice au dépaysement et à la contemplation, le cadre est de toute beauté. Au final on a regretté de n’avoir loué qu’une semaine, la maison est si agréable qu’on a envie d’y rester et se prélasser mais nous reviendrons pour continuer à découvrir les Cévennes. En bref un excellent séjour et une location à recommander.
Nous avons passé des vacances parfaites à Bessan. La maison est très belle, les enfants ont profité de la piscine tous les jours. Nous avons particulièrement aimé Uzès et Pézenas qui sont vraiment de belles villes. Merci encore. À bientôt.
What a FABULOUS holiday we have all had in this beautiful charming Chateaux. Paul, Julie/Steven our hosts were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. A memorable holiday we shall certainly be back as well as recommend to all our friends. Thank you.
An absolutely amazing stay – we will return! We had the most wonderful 6-day stay at Petite Maison de Campagne. Set in a peaceful, tranquil location, we woke up each morning to the sights and sounds of cows from the neighbouring farm grazing in the fields – such a lovely view to enjoy while having coffee and breakfast. The pool and sun loungers were exactly what we needed for the hot French summer, and our son loved relaxing in the hammock under the trees. The property itself has been beautifully restored, with everything you could possibly want or need – including Wi-Fi (essential when travelling with two teens!). Our host was fantastic from start to finish. Communication was clear and friendly from the moment we booked, with all the information we needed to find the property and settle in. She even recommended some brilliant places to visit. I had one query during our stay, which she answered promptly and helpfully. The surrounding area offers so much to see and do – we only managed a fraction of it, so we’ll definitely have to come back to explore more. I highly recommend La Maison Nid to anyone looking for a relaxing yet well-equipped place to stay in this beautiful part of France. We loved it and can’t wait to return.

Une demeure fantastique à la frontière de la Dordogne et du Bordelais. La maison et le jardin étaient magnifiques. C'est une "demeure" plutôt qu'une location et nous avons adoré ça. Il y a tout ce dont vous avez besoin et une agréable sensation de chaleur. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour de 4 semaines ici. Les gérants de la maison étaient fantastiques et nous étions très tristes de nous dire au revoir. Ils nous ont donné plein de bons conseils sur les endroits à découvrir. Le lac Jemaye, la fête gastronomique du Pizou, les marchés locaux, le canoë près de Montpon, le magasin de la ferme locale qui vendait du lait directement de la laiterie, etc. Ce qui nous a marqué a été la dégustation de vins autour de Pomerol et de Saint-Émilion - nous avons fini par faire trois journées de dégustation de vins ! St Emillion est vraiment l'un des plus beaux villages que vous puissiez espérer visiter. C'est le point zéro du vin et il est chargé d'histoire. Le château nous manque terriblement. J'espère qu'un jour nous reviendrons.
Thank you for allowing us to stay in your fantastic home! After a warm welcome we managed to settle down to enjoy all the facilities and the actual location of this beautiful area. Saint-Tropex, Saomy-Maxime, Grimaud and the beach. We fully enjoyed this wonderful holiday and would be honoured to able come back here again. Many thanks.
You don't need us to tell you what a beautiful house this is and the bath with a view indeed. We didn't eat out much as the super markets were so convenient and the kitchen well equipped. We arrived in a heat wave, not complaining though! It was amazing and the wonderful pool helped us cool off. The children took their push bikes over the back of the vineyards to the cycle path and biked into Nyons, we also walked it which was most pleasant. As regards places of interest, we took ideas from the house book as it was too hot to visit the tourist information centre during opening hours and most of our exploring was done in the evenings.
Thank you for a terrific stay. What a wonderful place. We loved the BBQ and of course the pool . We will be back for our next tour.
We returned after 3 years and so glad we did. Another fabulous time - weather not aways in our favour but didn't stop a great holiday again. Two restaurants we would recommend Le Masion Tourbes - great food, lunchtime was very busy, so get there early - very popular with the French. Saint Germain Hotel - excellent food and value. Best value kids menu we have found and adults set menu was great value and for an extra euro you can get 1/4 litre wine! Hope to return again - Love to all.
À notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis par les sympathiques propriétaires. La piscine était chauffée à une température parfaite et la piscine était superbement isolée. Les jardins bien entretenus offraient pétanque, badminton et croquet, avec de nombreuses espèces d'arbres, qui offraient des endroits ombragés recherchés et toujours un endroit pour voir les couchers de soleil attendus. Le cadre est magnifique et paisible, les commerces locaux dans les villages sont à une courte distance en voiture et les grandes villes offrant des hypermarchés à environ 20 minutes en voiture. Dans l'ensemble, une grande maison, une piscine et un jardin bien situés pour découvrir les sites touristiques locaux et les paysages de la Dordogne.
We stayed at this beautiful place with 10 adults and one child. The house is large and magnificent with every comfort thought of. Beautifully decorated and everything of quality. The heated swimming pool was amazing. Jim was charming and helped us organise the stay and the housekeeper gave us a very warm welcome. We will definitely be coming back for future family reunions.
I'd like to thank you for the fantastic stay we had in your amazing cottage Maison Bourg Calès. It was simply beautiful and my family and I absolutely loved every second of our stay. The weather was brilliant and there aren't enough words to describe how stunning your cottage is. We would definitely stay there again and will highly recommend it to any friends. We stayed in the Maison des Artistes for 2 weeks at the end of June and had a fantastic holiday. There were 5 adults and 2 kids in our party and the house had plenty of room for everyone’s differing needs. The photos of the listing are absolutely spot on in terms of accuracy! The outside space really is big. It had plenty of chairs/loungers/covered day beds. Fantastic outside table for al fresco eating. The pool was beautiful. We had a couple of minor issues with the pool during our stay due to a couple of severe storms in the area but Colin and Mel were very prompt at dealing with these. The gas BBQ was spotlessly clean when we arrived, which you often find to not be the case. Internally there is air conditioning in each room. The whole house has electric shutters which are great for blackout blinds to get some good sleep and also keep the house cooler. Beds very comfortable, nice linen wear on all beds. Towels were all brand new. Generous and lovely welcome basket was there for us on arrival. Colin and Mel met us on arrival at the property and gave us a very quick run down and left us to it. They were a pleasure to deal with throughout our stay when we did have any queries or minor issues. Kitchen was very well equipped for large parties, loads of plates, utensils, cookware etc. Good supply of kitchen basics. Lovely toiletries in bathrooms. Very quiet peaceful location. In summary one of the best properties we have ever stayed in over many years of holidaying abroad
We had a fantastic week of vacation with friends at Mas du Château. The house, the pool, the bedding, the exteriors... everything is set up to have a perfect time! The house is perfectly insulated so that the most fetards in the group can take care of your feet in the water and the rest can sleep without problem. We'll be happy to go back, including off-season!:) Christophe is an available and attentive host. He has carefully renovated the house with care and commitment.
