Heatwaves, lizards, buzzards, owls, thunderstorms, bakery, wine, wine, wine and cheese. Fabulous house beautifully converted, so French, so homely. We do not want to leave. We're staying. Many thanks. PS Walnuts were marvellous.
A beautiful home in a private location- a perfect base. For us, the best bits- The property is all yours. No near neighbours, nobody overlooking you, a private pool (enclosed which is great for young kids). There's loads of grass areas as well, plus a barn with table tennis/ darts etc. There are a lot of fruit trees at the property and we even enjoyed some of these whilst there, though it is possible these attract some extra wasps though this was not a real issue during our stay. The house is 20/25minutes from Bergerac airport, ideal! The location is remote so don't expect to walk in to the local town, and the town itself isn't full of things to see etc. For us, our favourite trips out are Limeuil, Le Bugue, Tremolat and Cadouin for picturesque towns with quaint shops and nice cafes! Amazing prompt communication, The owners couldn't do enough to help. Thanks so much.

Je voulais juste dire combien nous avons apprécié nos vacances aux Granels. La villa correspondait à ce que nous espérions, et était magnifiquement équipée, et le bonus supplémentaire était la salle de jeux merveilleusement équipée, qui, comme nous avions 5 enfants de moins de 7 ans, nous a absolument ravis. Je voudrais dire que Karri était un vrai bijou, efficace, pleine de bonne humeur, d'une patience infinie avec nos petits-enfants qui l'aimaient tellement qu'ils ont pleuré quand elle nous a dit au revoir. Elle a vraiment fait de nos vacances un succès et a permis à nos enfants plutôt épuisés (leurs parents) d'avoir quelques heures de congé bien méritées. Nous lui sommes vraiment reconnaissants. L'autre grande joie était les repas que Carol et Andy nous ont cuisinés, juste au cas où les futurs clients voudraient qu'on leur fasse la cuisine pendant leur séjour.
It’s hard to know where to begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. Your property is so well set up and we made good use of the barbecue, tennis court, boules, darts, table tennis and of course, the pool which beats all other swimming pools we’ve ever had on holiday... and the shady areas when the sun got just that bit too hot. So much thought has obviously gone into it all and it made our holiday very special. The four teenage grandchildren we had with us had a ball and we all loved the Lot countryside, its villages and the sunflowers. How can you not be happy when you’ve got fields of them within a few steps from your door? The two Marches Gourmands we went to at Tournon and Saux were brilliant fun - the food on offer at Saux was particularly good and Tournon is such a pretty place. Our daughter loved going for early morning runs, seeing a hare and on two occasions, a deer, amongst sunflowers. Swimming in the Lot, cycling and canoeing are all on our list of favourite things we did. We also have a great picture of three of the red squirrels on the tree near the bolet - what a brilliant place for breakfast. Thank you so very much from all of us. You have been incredible hosts, communication and recommendations were excellent. The house exceeded all of our expectations and we all had an incredible time making good use of all that was on offer! Stuart and I particularly enjoyed the table tennis which got quite competitive! We most definitely will be back again soon!
La maison elle-même est superbe et il est clair que sa restauration a fait l'objet de beaucoup de réflexion, la qualité est omniprésente. Nous avons adoré l'arrivée, ce fut une surprise totale. C'est une maison merveilleusement spacieuse, privée et très bien équipée. Des vacances vraiment relaxantes, nous n'avons manqué de rien.

Mon séjour dans cette maison d'artiste charmante a été vraiment agréable, notamment grâce au cadre calme qui l'entourait. La propriétaire Olivia était très attentionnée et amicale, ce qui a rendu mon séjour encore plus plaisant. Les petits déjeuners et les baignades dans la piscine étaient délicieux. Je suis reparti avec de beaux souvenirs et pleinement ressourcé. Je recommande cette expérience à tous ceux qui recherchent un séjour paisible et authentique.
Ravis d'être les premiers invités de la saison dans cette maison et ce jardin magiques. La semaine est passée trop vite bien sûr mais nous avons profité du marché de Ribérac. Visites à Bergerac. Les propriétaires étaient des hôtes formidables.

Le havre de paix idéal pour notre famille C'était notre premier séjour en Charente et nous avons été ravis de La Charmante Distillerie. C'était l'idéal pour mes grands-parents, avec ses chambres au rez-de-chaussée et un accès facile de plain pied à une belle terrasse et à la piscine. Le gîte est situé en forêt et la vue est imprenable. L'accent mis sur le développement durable était appréciable, notamment les nombreux arbres fruitiers et les herbes aromatiques pour la cuisine. Mark a été d'une grande aide pour tous les détails et a été d'un grand secours avec ses recommandations et ses connaissances locales. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter et nous le recommandons vivement pour une escapade paisible.
Je voulais juste dire combien nous avons apprécié nos 2 semaines aux Granels. La maison et les installations ont dépassé toutes nos attentes. Nous avons également été ravis du service que nous avons reçu de Pure France, chaque question a été traitée rapidement et efficacement.
Merveilleux séjour dans une belle maison. La maison était très confortable et la piscine était super. Nous avons passé du temps dans les villes/villages voisins. Pézenas, Vias, Béziers et le Cap d'Agde. Le marché du dimanche matin à Besson est incontournable. La région est idéale pour faire du vélo avec tous les villages voisins facilement accessibles. Très tristes de partir. Merci beaucoup.

Nous avons apprécié célébrer notre 25ème anniversaire de mariage ici au Domaine de Nérige avec famille et amis. Fantastique est le seul mot pour décrire la maison et la région.
The Piglet Barn, an amazing location. The hosts Annie and John were lovely and so welcoming , lemon drizzle cake, nibbles and wine, candles by the door. Would highly recommend for a very relaxing atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble for them . Thank you for a lovely week. Linda and Bernard x

We had an absolutely delightful holiday in Argeliers and all six of us (four adults and two children) loved the house and hated to leave. We did the usual visits for first-timers in the region: Carcassonne, Narbonne, Gruissan, the Abbaye de Fontfroide, various villages along the Canal du Midi, etc. We had a ball and were always looking forward to return to the Maison Tigre at the end of the day. The pool was a high-light, so much so that it was sometimes difficult to get the children out to visit (and the adults also). The house was also a delight, with such a great design that we immediately felt at home. Thank you also to Alan and Cathy for their warm welcome and very useful explanations. All six of us have very good memories of our (alas short) stay at Maison Tigre and we still remind each other often of our summer holiday. I would like to congratulate you again for the wonderful job you have done with the restoration of Maison Tigre, with the design and with the equipment provided, which was just right for us (I may be repeating myself here, but it really is a wonderful home, so another round of applause is not excessive!)
Thank you for a lovely week in Piglet. We were so pleased when Piglet was available for one of our weeks in France this summer. It was great coming here for a second time - felt like coming home. Thanks for your fabulous hospitality. Having toured around when we were here last year, we planned to be pretty local this week. Luckily the weather aligned meaning we could have warm, lazy days by the pool reading, playing games and family time. We loved revisiting the local bars and restaurant and loved our evening at the creperie. Thank you for the wine and cake.

There were 9 of us meeting for the weekend in the beautiful cottage restored by Christophe's hands. Everything was perfect, from communication before the stay, Christophe's welcome and his legendary conviviality! The place is amazing, it's perfect for sharing special moments with friends and family. The cottage is very well equipped, the decoration is also very beautiful and the place allows you to party well. I can only recommend choosing this place for its charm and the quality of its host Christophe’ Thanks again, Hope to see you soon.
Lézigno affords an extraordinary slice of regal French splendor - a small palace rather than a château - beautiful gardens and pool. Peaceful and elegant. The staff, Thierry and Nadine were kind and helpful.

Dear owners of Le Grand Mas de Valcros. We have just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed staying in your home. From the pictures we knew it was going to be a nice villa. However when we walked in we realised it gem! There is really nothing we did not like about your house. Its feels like home to us after one week and it made our family vacation even more precious. We certainly hope to be back in the future!
