Wow! what a start to the summer. Very hot, lovely weather, plums aplenty (from garden trees), walks to Eglise de Senezelles, daily visits to the bakery in Cancon, fab Monday markets, much swimming, pool/snooker, BBQs, card games, a very dramatic thunder storm and 18 wonderful books (from the Bosc Grand shelves) read collectively. The stuff of family holiday dreams. We hope to be back!
What a wonderful, characterful holiday home you have created. Comfortable, modern where necessary but full of historical character. And lovely to have the space all around. Just the tonic we needed after months of "lockdown". Thank you!
Nous avons tellement apprécié notre semaine dans votre belle maison et votre jardin. Merci d'avoir recommandé le château et les jardins de Villandry - nous l'avons adoré et ce lieu vaut la peine d'être visité. L'abbaye de Fontevraud était intéressante et située dans un joli coin.
A perfect villa with a perfect property manager. We are six retired Americans who travel together often. The property manager is most responsive we have dealt with. If messaged at a reasonable hour she respond in minutes. Now add to that a wonderful modernised property in a wonderful location and you get what we got, a perfect vacation. The property manager arranged a driver and a cook and both were outstanding. The property has stunning views and easy access to rail, within walking distance of fine restaurants and the privacy all renters seek. If you are visiting the south of France and you want to be a short distance from all things and a short train ride to Cannes and Nice, you cannot do better than this property and you will not find a better property manager. If we could give more than 5 stars we would.
La Belle Vue is a beautiful holiday home. Nestled in a tiny hamlet the house has all the ingredients for a fantastic relaxing break. The garden is beautiful with views over the rolling hills to the distant Pyrenees. Lovely bedding, fluffy thick hotel towels and everything you need to enjoy the holiday. We hope to be back soon. We really enjoyed our trip to Las Tours. The views after the climb were well worth it. Probably preferred it to Carcassonne.
Ces vacances en famille ont été exceptionnelles dans votre magnifique maison, où vous avez été aux petits soins : un accueil chaleureux, des fromages, des vins et plusieurs livraisons de viennoiseries et de melons durant la semaine. La générosité de ce repas du lundi a été un vrai plaisir : un vrai régal inattendu. La villa est vraiment spectaculaire, avec de très bons équipements, une piscine où nous avons passé de nombreux moments agréables, un barbecue et de nombreux coins salon. Les chambres sont toutes charmantes. Nous avons adoré l’emplacement et avons fait de nombreuses balades à vélo dans les villages environnants, notamment à Capestang pour le marché ; c’était un plaisir de rencontrer les habitants, et certains d’entre nous ont même fait du vélo jusqu’à Béziers. Un moment fort de ma visite a été la promenade jusqu'aux Gorges d'Héric pour une petite promenade et une baignade dans l'une des piscines naturelles, puis un verre dans la charmante ville de Roquebrun. Que de rires, de bonheur et de précieux souvenirs ! J'adorerais y retourner pour mes 70 ans, dans 5 ans ! Un grand merci pour ce séjour incroyable, grandement facilité par le soleil quotidien.
We booked for 3 weeks this past summer at the Maison Emz. It was a fantastic experience. Jacky and Anna are absolutely wonderful.
Nous avons passé un agréable moment paisible ici. La maison a été magnifiquement et soigneusement conçue. Les montagnes sont magnifiques au petit matin. Excursions fascinantes, bien que chaudes - Châteaux cathares, abbayes et restaurants - une belle région à explorer. Merci beaucoup.

We has the most amazing time at Domaine du Château! The pictures do not do the beautiful property justice, on site and surrounding areas very well kept and very quintessential, especially views during afternoon pool time! Each room is very comfortable and luxuriously appointed. Great thought went into unique details of each room and space and privacy for a large group. The best part of the whole experience was the wonderful staff, who produced incredible meals for us and made sure that our every need was met. It was a vacation that we will not soon forget. Wonderful stay and would recommend this property to anyone who wanted to immerse into the French wine country.
Excellent home and facilities. Everything exceeded our expectations. Lovely space. Catering: deicious - it was so lovely to arrive to hot food after a long journey and to not have to worry about shopping for the first few days. Friendly and approachable service. We had a fantastic holiday and will book again for next year. Thank you both so much!
We celebrated a big family birthday at Château Mabrouke and enjoyed a welcoming and stunningly beautiful home, with great fun at the pool, tennis court, zipline and on the dance floor. The Pyrénées were the backdrop to the most glorious of settings. An unforgettable holiday.
Quel merveilleux séjour nous avons passé à Camirout ! On ne ressent vraiment l'atmosphère d'un lieu qu'une fois sur place, et Camirout possède un charme unique. Le soin et l'amour apportés au jardin sont remarquables : c'était un vrai plaisir d'être entourés de toute cette verdure ! Nous avons profité de belles promenades, exploré des châteaux et, bien sûr, nous nous sommes éclatés dans la piscine. Merci Madeline et Alan, nous nous sommes régalés et nous garderons ces beaux souvenirs pour toujours !
Juste un petit mot pour dire un grand merci aux propriétaires pour avoir rendu nos vacances en Languedoc, Occitanie si mémorables. Non seulement vous avez une très belle maison dans un endroit fantastique, mais votre hospitalité, votre soutien et vos conseils nous ont permis de nous détendre et de profiter pleinement de notre séjour. I had the great pleasure of spending a fabulous week at this property. An oasis in the center of this charming french town. 3 minutes walk to the town where you find boulangeries selling fresh croissants in the morning; to lovely restaurants scattered around the cobbled back streets and a fabulous weekend market. The surrounding area has much to offer for those keen on exploring Agde, Sete or beautiful Marseillan, to name just a few. The property itself is decorated to the highest standard. You can see it was a labour of love. Stylish and yet homely. The bedrooms beautifully decorated light and airy. Beds so comfortable. The kitchen designed for entertaining. A huge open plan sitting and dining area perfect for a cosy family meal or a dinner party, as we enjoyed on more than one occasion. The outside area perfect for a long day lounging by the pool or chilling in the evening with the bbq going. A totally private setting! What more could one ask for. Great communication with the owner. Nothing was a problem. I would highly recommend this property, if you are looking for a 5 star experience in a stunning location.
Un havre de paix idyllique dans la campagne gersoise. La chambre était d'un confort exceptionnel et offrait une vue imprenable sur les vignes. Notre hôte, David, nous a préparé un repas exceptionnel le soir de notre arrivée, ainsi qu'un petit-déjeuner français composé de fruits, de yaourts, de pain, de croissants, de fromage et de délicieuses confitures chaque matin. Il a également été d'une grande aide pour nous conseiller sur la région, les choses à voir et les restaurants. Une chambre d'hôte chaleureuse et accueillante. À recommander sans hésiter.
Amazing! is the word. The Loft itself, you as hosts and the location. Our week has been wonderful and made all the better due to the exceptional care and attention you both put into this special place. We have loved our stay here! Fantastic weather, relaxing days and memorable meals by the pool! Our boys enjoyed swimming in the beautiful pool! After 8 weeks away it was great to have space - we would love to visit again someday!
Magnifique maison, vue imprenable sur le clocher du village, piscine rafraîchissante à souhait. Chambres propices aux longues nuits et siestes réparatrices! Fabuleux.
Nous avons séjourné pour la quatrième fois ici à Saint-Amand de Coly. Nous avons passé une belle semaine ensoleillée et un excellent séjour à la Maison Amand. La cuisine est parfaitement équipée. Merci beaucoup! Nous reviendrons et resterons plus longtemps.
Our stay here was the highlight of our recent trip to the South of France. From the minute we drove through the gates we were impressed by the beautiful gardens, house and pool. It is truly a magnificent French retreat and estate. I couldn't recommend the house more highly and I am already planning another trip there soon.
Such a wonderful time for all of us. Great pool, lovely lake nearby and fantastic dinner in the village. A truly memorable time.

Quelle expérience incroyable, dans une région vraiment magnifique de France (et nouvelle pour nous tous). La maison est charmante ainsi que la vue à 360° - magique ! Les enfants ont adoré la piscine et nous avons réussi à les en faire sortir pour manger, dormir et prendre la voiture !

Our week in your beautiful home has gone far too quickly. We have really enjoyed the era and explored Uzes and its restaurants. There is still so much to do and we hope to be back. Many thanks for your welcome and discreet hospitality. The tortoises were a great distraction!
Nous avons passé un séjour des plus relaxants et merveilleux dans cette propriété. Julian et Pascal nous ont très bien accueillis, nous ont laissé toute l'intimité nécessaire et étaient disponibles en cas de problème. La maison est charmante et calme, avec un magnifique verger et probablement l'une des plus belles piscines que nous ayons jamais eues ! L'un des moments forts a été d'observer les chauves-souris sortir la nuit. Nous aimerions y retourner un jour.
Great villa, fantastic weather, good location. The children enjoyed the pool and nana enjoyed the shade of the willow! Lovely beaches like home in Cornwall, if only we had the weather! The jet skiing was awesome and kids caught a squid rock pooling, along with many crabs.
We loved the setting, location and character of this beautiful house which we feel could tell many interesting stories (... if only walls could speak!). Our boys loved the pool and made great friends with the friendly tortoise. R. favours the name 'Toby' and B. likes 'Edouard'. We enjoyed a fabulous lunch for my birthday at Bistro Maritime and looking forward to dinner at Bistro Pharell for our last evening. Great days out exploring St-Émilion-Libourne. A great trip by train (so easy) to Bordeaux. The bassin de lumière is amazing if you have a wet day. We also loved watching the Mascaret from the house - so glad we were here on the 'right' day.
