La piscine et le jardin sont beaux et bien entretenus. Le salon principal est lumineux et aéré. La buanderie a été très utile. L'endroit est calme et paisible.
An absolute gem of a house! We came here for a fortnight with a mixture of friends, family and even a cricket team (touring France). And we had the most delightful stay. It really feels like a luxurious home from home, with lovely comfortable furniture, beautiful spacious grounds, a first rate tennis court and pool and a beautiful 'bolet' (veranda) on which to sit and enjoy the local wine… Highly recommended!
Nous avons passé un séjour des plus relaxants et merveilleux dans cette propriété. Julian et Pascal nous ont très bien accueillis, nous ont laissé toute l'intimité nécessaire et étaient disponibles en cas de problème. La maison est charmante et calme, avec un magnifique verger et probablement l'une des plus belles piscines que nous ayons jamais eues ! L'un des moments forts a été d'observer les chauves-souris sortir la nuit. Nous aimerions y retourner un jour.
Wouah ! Quelle fabuleuse semaine nous avons eue ! Une si belle région à explorer et la maison et la piscine étaient magnifiques. Il y a tellement de choses à faire, je suis sûr que nous reviendrons pour d'autres aventures, je l'espère. Nous avons tout aimé, surtout la piscine :)
Beautiful! We do feel thoroughly spoilt and have had a wonderful time. The playroom alone is better than our own and the pool is perfect. Very friendly, helpful and efficient service.

Des pâtisseries fraîches du matin à un délicieux repas au "Le Pourquoi Pas", vous êtes allé au-delà - et cela, combiné au confort et à l'environnement de la villa, c'est ce qui a rendu ces vacances si spéciales. Nous avons tous adoré : le confort des lits et la qualité du linge, l'eau chaude irréprochable et la propreté de la piscine. Cette villa fonctionne vraiment, nous permettant de passer des vacances sans stress ! Tant de souvenirs heureux ont été créés. Nous espérons revenir avec un nouveau venu, mais en attendant, au revoir et merci beaucoup.
We absolutely loved being here. The home you’ve created is a beautiful entity, with such thought at every turn, and the surrounding gardens have a tremendous sense of peace. Thank you for all the well-planned details, and the delicious tart that awaited us (and therefore an introduction to the most incredible boulangerie!). We leave with a filled-up nourishment, and hope we can come back. Wishing you both a peaceful and joyful year.
We could not have made a better decision than to come to Villa La Baronne to spend the end of the year. The house is magnificent, the location unbeatable both for the surroundings (the river, the forest, the small towns...) and the proximity to Toulouse. The house has the services you expect and much more. An excellent experience that I hope we can repeat again. Thanks to Isabelle and Philippe for offering Villa La Baronne guests a five-star stay. Now we are back from a fabulous holiday staying in Grand Mauran, I just wanted to say we had a wonderful time. The house was perfect, it was so well equipped and had everything we could possible need for a holiday with a baby. Having the pool heated was a real joy. All the instructions were good and our questions were answered very promptly. We definitely will be back.
We just wanted to say we had a wonderful time at the beautiful Richelieu home. Maybe the most beautiful and well appointed vacation rental we have ever had. The property manager, Dawn, was very helpful throughout our stay. We hope to come back again someday.
Nous avons tous adoré notre séjour ici. Nous aurions aimé réserver deux semaines. C'est une maison très traditionnelle, mais vous avez fourni tout le confort moderne nécessaire, sans compromettre l'ambiance du gîte. J'espère y retourner. Nous avons passé des après-midis agréables à la piscine et à admirer le magnifique coucher de soleil depuis l'allée. Nous avons apprécié les spectacles sur la place de Verteillac, devant le bar Le Calice. La belle ville de Brantôme est à visiter absolument.
Merci beaucoup pour ces superbes vacances. La propriété est presque parfaite pour des vacances reposantes, nous ne pouvions vraiment manquer de rien ! La région est magnifique et nous avons particulièrement aimé la baignade à Ribaute. Lagrasse a d'excellents restaurants et le marché du dimanche était vraiment intéressant. Sur les conseils de la propriétaire, Mme W, nous avons fait la visite du musée Salvador Dali à Figueres - c'est génial et nous avons adoré. La propriétaire, Mme W, nous a très bien accueillis, nous avons vraiment apprécié le vin que vous nous avez laissé. Merci encore d'avoir rendu nos vacances si géniales!
We had a lovely two weeks in this beautiful old French farmhouse with its heavenly views and surrounded in wonderful countryside. We have spent most of our time in the garden, playing bolles, swimming, water ball, table tennis and using the pool table, enjoying leisurely meals on the terrace with great views. Trips out to Vaison la Romain, daily trips to the boulangie, wonderful walks, some brilliant bike rides for children and adults alike. We have seen some wonderful wildlife around the area, geckos, cicadas etc. We are sad to leave but hope to return one day.
Paradise We so enjoyed your beautiful slice of paradise in France. What an amazing 'estate' that truly defines old French country. So gorgeous and we so appreciate being able to use it. Everyone had a wonderful time.
You don't need us to tell you what a beautiful house this is and the bath with a view indeed. We didn't eat out much as the super markets were so convenient and the kitchen well equipped. We arrived in a heat wave, not complaining though! It was amazing and the wonderful pool helped us cool off. The children took their push bikes over the back of the vineyards to the cycle path and biked into Nyons, we also walked it which was most pleasant. As regards places of interest, we took ideas from the house book as it was too hot to visit the tourist information centre during opening hours and most of our exploring was done in the evenings.
We had an amazing family holiday in the house, brilliantly equipped for all ages. Mel was great both before and after the holiday. The pool was lovely and warm with lots of inflatables, sun loungers etc. Would love to go back.

Idyllique et détente absolue C'était notre premier séjour en Charente et nous avons adoré La Charmante Distillerie. Dès notre arrivée, nous nous sommes sentis détendus. La piscine et les terrasses offraient une vue imprenable et un calme absolu. L'intérieur était joliment meublé et nous avons apprécié le clin d'œil à l'ancienne distillerie et à son histoire. De nombreuses activités étaient proposées en famille et nous avons adoré observer les étoiles grâce au télescope mis à disposition. Mark a impeccablement entretenu le terrain et la piscine. Nous avons apprécié l'accès au jardin d'herbes aromatiques et aux arbres fruitiers. Je tiens également à souligner l'excellente connexion internet, qui a permis à nos adolescents de se détendre dans le coin détente de la mezzanine, tandis que les plus jeunes ont adoré jouer dans le bac à sable et sur le portique. Je recommande vivement cet endroit !
Merci pour nous offrir l'opportunité de passer de merveilleuses vacances dans cette belle villa. Tout a été parfait ! Je suis venu préparé cette année avec mes « cours de piano de base pour adultes » et j'ai adoré avoir l'occasion d'essayer et de jouer à nouveau. Pas sûr que ce soit aussi agréable pour ceux qui écoutaient ! Merci à Frédéric et Natasha pour tout ce qu'ils font pour que nos 2 semaines se passent au mieux.

We has the most amazing time at Domaine du Château! The pictures do not do the beautiful property justice, on site and surrounding areas very well kept and very quintessential, especially views during afternoon pool time! Each room is very comfortable and luxuriously appointed. Great thought went into unique details of each room and space and privacy for a large group. The best part of the whole experience was the wonderful staff, who produced incredible meals for us and made sure that our every need was met. It was a vacation that we will not soon forget. Wonderful stay and would recommend this property to anyone who wanted to immerse into the French wine country.
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette demeure historique, ancienne orangerie du château bâtie sur les remparts du XIVeme siècle. En plus du charme de la maison, celle ci est très bien organisée autour de différents espaces qui multiplient la diversité des expériences. Que ce soit en famille ou entre amis, chacun a son espace tout en offrant beaucoup de convivialité. La maison est très bien équipée, du Ping Pong à la raclette en passant par une cuisine avec beaucoup d électroménager. La literie est remarquable. Enfin l endroit est à la fois un havre de paix et sa proximité directe avec le village et ses nombreuses activités estivales en font un endroit unique.
Thank you for an amazing stay in this wonderful house, the view, kitchen facilities and the entertainment available were all perfect. We enjoyed the bbq every night in the garden and early morning swims. The house was equipped with everything we needed we cooked with herbs from the garden and improved our pool playing. The wine tasting next door was very special, we liked the decor in every room and would recommend this house to stay in, its a lovely place. We had an incredible holiday.
