What a wonderful stay in a beautiful villa. We felt so at home. Peace and tranquility with spectacular views.
Nous avons passé un trés bon séjour au calme et en plein nature dans une domaine plein de charmes. C'est un endroit idéal pour se reposer et se ressourcer et aussi découvrir cette belle région. Nos hôtes ont été très accueillants et disponibles. Nous recommandons cet endroit !

Bonjour Hervé Nous sommes maintenant à la maison après un séjour vraiment agréable dans votre maison très confortable. Nous avons été entière satisfaction (hormis la météo à fois !) et nous en avons bien profité. Merci.
A beautiful home in a private location- a perfect base. For us, the best bits- The property is all yours. No near neighbours, nobody overlooking you, a private pool (enclosed which is great for young kids). There's loads of grass areas as well, plus a barn with table tennis/ darts etc. There are a lot of fruit trees at the property and we even enjoyed some of these whilst there, though it is possible these attract some extra wasps though this was not a real issue during our stay. The house is 20/25minutes from Bergerac airport, ideal! The location is remote so don't expect to walk in to the local town, and the town itself isn't full of things to see etc. For us, our favourite trips out are Limeuil, Le Bugue, Tremolat and Cadouin for picturesque towns with quaint shops and nice cafes! Amazing prompt communication, The owners couldn't do enough to help. Thanks so much.
Nous avons passé une semaine sous une chaleur accablante, et la piscine étincelante était accessible quotidiennement. Thonac est proche de plusieurs autres villes et villages charmants, et le restaurant en plein air de l'hôtel est agréable et propose une cuisine savoureuse. Le gîte est très bien équipé et dispose d'un jardin accueillant. C'était un endroit parfait pour nos vacances.
We had an amazing stay at your wonderful house. The setting was wonderful and we had a truly relaxing time. The scenery was a joy. We also liked the beautiful village / hamlet with such a wonderful church. We met many French people who were exceptionally friendly. We cooked with all the fresh produce from the markets and ate outside surrounded by hay bales! Thank you for such an amazing week.
We had an amazing stay here in Narbonne! The photos you see are beautiful but the house is even better in person. It was so comfortable, beautiful decor, thoughtful touches (like throw blankets, baskets for market, plenty of closet space with extra hangers, extensive kitchen equipment, more...), gorgeous lighting and cozy/high quality bedding (so important when travelling). We felt so at home and enjoyed our down time while in the house! The sunroom was our sanctuary during our stay... our reading room while there... the natural light is so perfect with the back sliding window open and the breeze coming in! Heaven!

You beat me to it! I’d been meaning to email to say what an excellent time we’ve been having and to thank you for allowing us to use your wonderful home. It’s such a gorgeous spot, the weather has been perfect and we love the fact that the house feels like a much loved family home so thank you for sharing it with us. It is so well equipped and comfortable, with a lovely ambience - we are greatly enjoying relaxing and eating meals in all the different beautiful spots in the garden. No practical problems and everything seems in order. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

From the minute we arrived we were made to feel at home with brilliant accommodation including a lovely pool and Martyn and Jean looked after us giving suggestion of places to visit. The area was brilliant with lots to see and many restaurants within a ten minute drive plus one restaurant, bakers butchers and general store all within walking distance. A special thank you to Ombre for keeping our football skills on song. I would thoroughly recommend.
An incredibly magical week in this very special home. With such a large (chaotic!) group it was wonderful to have so much space that the energetic children had so much to keep them busy and even allowed the adults to feel like they had R and R! Very much hoping to be able to come back and explore more as we enjoyed it immensely!
We had a wonderful week at Manoir Coutenson. The spacious house is very well equipped. The swimming pool is incredibly warm and the children (even the baby) spent hours in it. The shaded area by the pool was essential as the weather was really hot. We loved the area. It is fairly rural but with easy access to the town. The house is very child friendly with toys, high chairs and plastic bowls and plates and lots of pool accessories. All of which were appreciated by our 5 grandchildren. A fabulous, relaxing holiday. Les Chapoux is truly a terrific holiday destination, the property is located in a lovely area and it is easy to access local towns and villages with supermarkets in easy reach. As to the property it is charming, there is plenty of room with comfortable beds and all the amenities you could need. The pool is great and the 3 generations of our family spent many an hour in and around it. The owners are very helpful and made us feel most welcome. Definitely one to visit.
Many thanks for our wonderful week here in your beautiful home and surroundings. We loved every minute with the children spending their time in the pool, playing table tennis and with all the other games (chess, dominoes…) You kindly supplied we couldn’t have asked for more and very much appreciated our welcome pack. Villa avec vue indiscutable. Tous le nécessaires pour cuisiner. Piscine au top, un éclairage autour de celle-ci pour le soir, serait la cerise sur le gâteau. Vue sublime. Propriétaire très réactive et organisation d'arrivée et de départ au top. Village au calme et typique.
Well, we all made it and have had the best time. This year we have certainly made use of the pool - even Chris! We have had some splendid lunches out and have found yet more restaurants and generally had a very enjoyable and relaxing time. As ever, we thank you for your wonderful hospitality. We can’t wait to be back - Chris and I are coming back in October when we hope it won’t be quite so hot!

Everything you would need is provided for a perfect stay in this part of southern France. A range of seating areas throughout the garden and the pool were delightful. The villa was very well equipped and comfortable The hosts were charming, friendly and helpful, but very discrete.
Beautiful location, spacious rooms with large estate and very friendly owners and staff. They do their utmost to make the stay perfect. Definitely recommended.
Stylish, well-equipped 'home from home' house in a great location. Narbonne is a delightful town with many good facilities. The pool and outside is a real bonus. We had a very good stay.
A beautiful fun filled 7 days in this amazing house. Thank you. Equipped for all 8 of us. Kids swam everyday, favourite game of the week. Dads throwing balls high/low/long and making the biggest splash. Parents enjoying evening games of scrabble over a few too many. Lots of towns and markets visited. We plan to back back to make even more memories. Thank you.
Nous avons passé une très belle semaine à La Maison Cabanon. C'était génial de se sentir chez soi ici. Tous les enfants se sont immédiatement détendus. Nous avons eu quelques jours nuageux alors nous sommes allés à Baux-de-Provence. La visite du marché de Saint-Rémy-de-Provence (le mercredi matin) et la découverte de L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue sont autant de belles choses à faire. Mais nous avons surtout apprécié la fabuleuse piscine ! Un cadre magnifique, une ambiance agréable. Merci.
Geoff et Jackie, merci pour cette belle semaine passée dans votre belle maison, si chaleureuse et accueillante. Belle ville, nous n'avons pas exploré plus loin car nous voulions juste profiter de la piscine et nous détendre.
Je voulais juste dire à quel point nous avons passé un bon moment lors de notre récente visite à la Maison Des Communes, Philippe et Federica étaient des hôtes merveilleux qui nous ont très bien accueillis. La maison dans un endroit tranquille était parfaite pour une escapade très relaxante loin de tout.
Merci d'avoir partagé avec nous cette charmante oasis à Sarlat. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre semaine ici. La maison est tout simplement parfaite et l'emplacement incroyable. Les points forts incluent : La ville de Sarlat elle-même, le Gouffre de Padirac, Domme, Rocamadour, le canoë sur la Dordogne, la visite de Beynac et Castlenaud et bien sûr la piscine ! Nous avons passé des vacances fantastiques et inoubliables et espérons y retourner.
