The place was amazing, we went with 2 other families 6 adults 6 kids under 5. Loads of games, toys, trampoline and climbing frame to keep the kids entertained. Lovely spaces for adults and the pool was brilliant. Looking to book again next year. Thank you for a great week.
Quelle belle maison! Les jardins, la vue et la piscine sont tout simplement magnifiques et nous avons passé les plus belles et les plus reposantes vacances en admirant la vue, en profitant de la magnifique piscine et du fantastique canapé, l'endroit idéal pour se détendre à l'ombre du mûrier. Marianne [la femme de ménage] a été merveilleuse - nous avons apprécié la balade en canoë sur le Dropt et la visite d'Eymet, sinon nous avons tout ce dont nous avions besoin ici!
What a fantastic house. It is so peaceful. The views are amazing and the different light throughout the day makes it all wonderful. We loved the pool and having barbecues in the evening. Thank you.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette belle villa, décorée avec goût. Le propriétaire est charmant. De façon générale, la maison est très fonctionnelle. Cependant, la villa est pour un maximum de 4 et n'est pas conçue pour plus de personnes. Proche de Pézenas, jolie ville où sortir. Je recommande chaleureusement cette maison.
Nous avons vraiment apprécié nos deux semaines à Cherry Farmhouse pour des raisons si évidentes, dont la piscine! Merci Cathy et Stéphane.
We had a wonderful holiday at Maison Emz. Jacky and Anne are the perfect hosts, being friendly, helpful and keen to allow us to have a good vacation. Maison Emz is a beautiful house with excellent facilities and is beautifully decorated and equipped. The outside spaces and pool area provide a lovely environment to relax. The house location, in a quiet rural area but with the good local town of Goudargues and other interesting towns and villages within easy reach, is a great place to enjoy two weeks in the sun.
Une maison aussi exceptionnellement accueillante que facile à vivre et confortable. Nous y avons passé une semaine entre amis et avec nos enfants, et nous n'avons pas vu le temps passer. Le jardin, la piscine, le barbecue, la table de ping pong et l'ensemble des nombreux équipements mis à disposition par Marie-Thérèse nous ont permis de multiplier les bons moments.

Beautiful holiday destination, especially nice garden, optimal exposure. With young children there are many activities surrounding and great moments of fun by the pool. Everything needed for children. Quiet and peaceful setting with amazing views. Tastefully decorated and fully equipped. Highly recommended!
Un accueil très sympathique. Le lieu est très calme tout en permettant les visites des sites touristiques. La cuisine est très bien équipée. Nous avons apprécié de découvrir l'histoire familiale (qui gère le musée Napoléon tout proche)
We are all having the most idyllic time here in your beautiful home - it is just perfect and so beautifully and tastefully presented - the weather is incredible and the pool in full use - we have visited Ilsle sur la Sourgue, Châteauneuf du Pap and the surrounding villages which are all charming - so all very well!
We wanted to find a location that provided peace and tranquillity and allow us all to pause for a while. We sought comfort, privacy and nature and found it all and more at La Metairie de Mespoule. We have just spent two wonderful weeks in late July and early August under the life giving sun of South Western France. We explored the beautiful villages, we ate in a raft of superb restaurants and we came back each day to the enjoy the tranquillity offered by the Metairie. The accommodation is perfect for a family holiday, the kitchen / living area is perfectly appointed and the outside terrace much used by us all. The naturally heated pool is an inspired choice and proved to be very popular with us all as did the BBQ area, the table tennis and an evening game of pétanque on the gravelled driveway. Catherine and Jono are perfect hosts offering as much or as little support and guidance as required – we opted for a private wine tour which was fabulous. We give the strongest of recommendations for anyone looking for a perfectly relaxing holiday.
Quel plaisir ce fut de trouver cette magnifique maison dans un endroit aussi merveilleux. Le bonus supplémentaire était la propriétaire, Mme W, qui était si chaleureuse et accueillante et n'aurait pas pu être plus serviable. Il y avait une mine d'informations sur la région disponible à la maison, mais avant d'arriver à la maison, Sharon nous avait armés de toutes les instructions et informations pratiques qui rendent les vacances tellement plus faciles et relaxantes. La maison est équipée de tout ce que vous pourriez souhaiter (et probablement plus) ! Nous aimons cuisiner et il n'y a jamais eu un ustensile de cuisine ou une pièce d'équipement qui n'était pas à portée de main. Si vous n'aimez pas ou ne souhaitez pas cuisiner, n'ayez crainte, les magasins et les marchés locaux offrent tout ce dont vous avez besoin et dans les environs, il existe un large éventail de restaurants si vous souhaitez faire préparer un repas pour vous. Nous avons également pris note d'un certain nombre de titres de livres à rechercher lorsque nous rentrerons à la maison en fonction de la «bibliothèque» de livres de la maison. Je recommanderais de lire un livre assis sur l'un des nombreux sièges de fenêtre en s'imprégnant de la vue! Nous voyagions avec la famille élargie et avec tant d'espaces de détente supplémentaires, cela signifiait que nous avions tous notre propre espace quand nous en avions besoin et que nous pouvions nous réunir quand nous le voulions. Il s'agit donc d'une maison qui répond aux besoins d'une famille nombreuse/élargie ou d'un groupe d'amis. Bien que nous n'ayons pas eu un temps torride, nous avons utilisé la piscine et après une journée de visites, c'était rafraîchissant. Encore une fois, le sens de l'humour, la chaleur et la volonté de Sharon d'aider de toutes les manières possibles nous ont permis de tirer le meilleur parti de nos vacances en Lauguedoc. Je ne saurais trop recommander la Maison Charvin !
En un mot: spectaculaire. Par où commencer pour décrire combien cette maison est magnifique. En un mot : spectaculaire ! Nous avons séjourné dans environ une quarantaine de maisons au fil des ans et peu d'entre elles se sont approchées de ce niveau d'excellence. La maison est magnifique à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur et aucun détail n'a été négligé. Les lits sont très confortables et les draps et les serviettes sont beaux. La cuisine a tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour y préparer tous vos repas. Le patio, les jardins et la piscine sont tranquilles et relaxants. Concernant la propreté, la maison est absolument impeccable. Les photos sont très fidèles au site mais ce qui n'est pas visible, c'est la chaleur et la gentillesse avec lesquelles vous serez accueillis lorsque vous rencontrerez les propriétaires. Nous recommandons fortement.

What an amazing place and fantastic hosts, Hugh and Ian have given our family the perfect holiday. Thank you so much. The kids said the pool is amazing and really loved the salt water which didn't make there eyes sting like normal chlorinated pools. Oscar your adorable dog was also a big plus for Lara!
Awesome! Kids LOVED it. Beautiful grounds and so much space, also spotless clean. Very well equipped, even had sharp knives! Superb setting. Great BBQ. Help and good advice always available. Indian food was great! Lovely way to start the holiday after hours of driving! We have stayed at many holiday homes and this is right up there as one of, if not the best we have stayed at!
Mon mari et moi avons passé notre lune de miel au Château des Dragons début septembre. Quel endroit magique ! Le château est absolument magnifique – on y trouve tout le confort nécessaire et la piscine chauffée était tout simplement merveilleuse. Les propriétaires étaient très serviables et sympathiques, nous conseillant sur les endroits à visiter et les moyens de transport. Sur leurs recommandations, nous sommes allés voir un superbe marché dans le village voisin et avons emprunté deux vélos pour explorer la campagne environnante. Un grand supermarché se trouve à environ 20 minutes à pied et le château est facilement accessible depuis Poitiers. Nous espérons y revenir un jour.
Beautifully renovated Villa. Well equipped kitchen, large pool and lots of ensuite bedrooms. Has everything to keep you entertained whether it’s full sunshine or rain. The owners were super helpful and always a text away if we needed anything. Small town nearby and a big supermarket 5 minutes drive away. We would definitely stay again in the future!
We've had a fantastic holiday in this superb villa. We had great weather, food and wine! The villa is a really good base for visiting the Languedoc, Occitanie - we went to Carcassonne, Sète, Montpeyroux, Saint-Guilhem-le-Desert amongst other places and all within a short drive. The villa itself is really well equipped and has everything for a family holiday. 2 big supermarkets nearby and Pezanas is stocked full of restaurants and shops. The market on Saturday is amazing and well worth a visit. Thanks for a great holiday and we would thoroughly recommend the villa to others.
It's a must at Château Velouse! I have just returned from a fabulous reunion holiday of college friends, hosted at this beautiful Château Velouse. Situated in its own absolutely breathtaking grounds, of forest, fields and orchards, the land is vast enough for an early morning 5k circuit run, plus the wall to wall sunshine and a cooling swim in the beckoning outdoor pool of this gorgeous château, is a definite must for everyone! The inside of the château is something to marvel, with every bedroom individually named and decorated to the highest quality. A wonderful self catering holiday for our party of 14, gave us chance to meet with the excellent hosts Philip and Claire. Thank you both for making us all so welcome, we will certainly be returning in the not too distant future!

A Perfect Family Retreat – Exceeded Our Expectations! We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful villa and it truly exceeded our expectations. The photos on the website don’t fully capture the charm and spaciousness of this property. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. La Ferme Éclaircie is brilliantly laid out, offering plenty of open space, which was perfect for our family of five. The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped, making meal preparation a breeze. Each room was spotless, tidy and provided ample storage space for all our holiday belongings. The games room was a fantastic bonus, keeping our children entertained during the occasional rainy day. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible pool. Our three boys absolutely loved it and spent hours splashing around. The gentle slope of the pool was especially helpful for our youngest, who learned to swim during this holiday - an unforgettable milestone for our family. We also enjoyed the outdoor seating area, which was ideal for both daytime relaxation and evening games as we watched the sun set. The peaceful surroundings and stunning views added to the tranquility of our stay. La Ferme Éclaircie location is perfect for exploring the local area, which offers plenty of activities to keep a family like ours busy. Whether you’re looking for adventure or relaxation, this villa is a perfect choice. Overall, our stay was wonderful and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended!
We've had a great week with our two kids, 7 and 3. Wonderful pool, we also loved the outdoor kitchen area. We really enjoyed Chateau Bonaguil – simple but just the right size for our kids. Aux Étangs du Bos – we had a great time on the water slides, inflatable course and other activities! A short trip to Monflanquin was enjoyed with a crêpe! Thank you for being a great host Pete, it’s a great gite!
Quel endroit merveilleux où séjourner: maison, piscine, nuits étoilées et boulangerie à 5 minutes. Notre grande famille a passé un moment tellement agréable ici. Avec des températures de près de 40°C, le château était encore frais mais c'était triste de voir les effets de la sécheresse/urgence climatique partout. Les oiseaux avaient besoin d'eau tous les jours ! Chevreuils au bord de la piscine, orvets et bien plus encore.
My family and I had such a wonderful stay at Claire’s home. It is a beautiful restored farmhouse in the most peaceful surroundings. We enjoyed being in the house and the garden so much – we (and especially our 5 year old) loved the pool and hammock. There’s plenty of things to do nearby too. We hope to come back again next summer. Thank you, Claire. We loved Petite Maison de Campagne so much!
Hi future guest, The couple who own the property have poured so much love into every corner of the beautiful. home that you can feel it when you stay there. The place is so much more cosy and beautifully designed than the pictures give the impression. During our stay we said we wanted to listen to music and asked if there were speakers onsite. Karen and Russell said there wasn't but then went out and bought a pair for us to use! At one point we were cooking and I borrowed some olive oil, curry powder and a chilli pepper. I wanted to get a guitar and they told me where a fabulous music shop was and I ended up purchasing a beautiful guitar. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we felt beyond welcome. The place is a bit like a fairytale place, and they made our stay beyond what we imagined. It is an oasis and a sanctuary and close to many nearby sites such as Château de Rene and others. Highly recommend staying here.
It is impossible to really think of a suggestion for heaven. We all have had a wonderful holiday at Villa Galinette. Thank you from each of us.
