The house is easy, open and welcoming. Details are lovely. The garden is natural and flowery. The pool is a wonderful addition even in the early season. We enjoyed the town and its wild surroundings. The food, the wine, the beauty of the land as well as the warm welcome we received made it the best vacation ever.
A truly fabulous house, super comfortable and well equipped with everything you could want. The incredible kitchen is a joy to cook in. The pool was warm and super clean. This was a really special place for our family holiday with lots of space to spread out. Clare gave us some great recommendations for places to visit and eat. Andy cooked us a delicious meal for us which is a real treat. The area is lovely and peaceful, surrounded by vineyards, unspoilt local towns and villages. We would love to return and show the area and house to other friends and family.
Carole et Jean-Luc ont créé une merveilleuse maison tranquille. C'est de loin la mieux équipée que nous ayons jamais louée - par exemple, la cuisine ne manque absolument de rien du tout ! Elle est très bien située et juste à une courte distance en voiture des attractions locales (par exemple Grasse, Mons, Callian, etc.) ainsi qu'à une courte distance de la Riviera. Nos hôtes ont été d'une grande aide lorsque nous leur avons demandé conseil, et nous espérons qu'un jour nous pourrons revenir.
Merci d'être un hôte aussi formidable. Nous avons passé un excellent moment.
Hi future guest, The couple who own the property have poured so much love into every corner of the beautiful. home that you can feel it when you stay there. The place is so much more cosy and beautifully designed than the pictures give the impression. During our stay we said we wanted to listen to music and asked if there were speakers onsite. Karen and Russell said there wasn't but then went out and bought a pair for us to use! At one point we were cooking and I borrowed some olive oil, curry powder and a chilli pepper. I wanted to get a guitar and they told me where a fabulous music shop was and I ended up purchasing a beautiful guitar. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we felt beyond welcome. The place is a bit like a fairytale place, and they made our stay beyond what we imagined. It is an oasis and a sanctuary and close to many nearby sites such as Château de Rene and others. Highly recommend staying here.
Je voulais juste vous remercier d'avoir rendu nos vacances au Mas Repenti aussi incroyables. Nous avons tous passé un moment fantastique et avons gardé de très bons souvenirs. Alexandra - votre maison est magnifique et tous les conseils sur les choses à faire pendant notre séjour ont été très utiles ! Thank you so much for the most restful and enjoyable holiday we have had in ages! Everything was made so easy for us - the Loft is fitted out perfectly with so many additional little touches that we wanted for nothing. We particularly enjoyed the barbecue, the fantastic coffee machine (we're buying one when we get home!) and having breakfast and dinner on the amazing terrace. We had a good look round the local area and were particularly grateful for all your tips and recommendations. You have both been the most wonderful hosts and we have really enjoyed getting to know you over a glass of something cold! Thank you so much and we look forward to seeing you again next year!
The house is great for a large group and the surroundings are really beautiful. The fig and almond trees in the gardens were in full fruit too. The pool area would benefit from shade such as the awning in the online picture. The weather was very hot while we were there and the upstairs bedrooms were uncomfortably warm. Take not that the a/c is only in the living area.

Well, what can we say other than we have had a ball and our 'musicals' night with you both will enter the folklore of the families. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality, friendship and laughs - what a holiday! We've loved every minute of our holiday. The Loft is superb in every aspect. Beautiful, extensive, quiet grounds; clean; lots of towels. Excellent facilities; helpful that basics were supplied.
Endroit somptueux, accueil chaleureux, tout est propice au calme et à la sérénité. Une campagne avec aucune habitation autour, bref la campagne comme je l'aime.
Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique tous les 13, une superbe propriété pour une grande famille avec de jeunes enfants, la propriétaire a été charmante et tout s'est bien passé.
Weary of election nonsense and pandemic restrictions, we sought respite in France and found it at Colombat Cottage.
Thank you so much for your warm welcome in your beautifully decorated Loft. The four of us had a lovely time, enjoying Carcassonne, the mountains and the wine! We are going home very relaxed! We much appreciated your details and the welcome breakfast in the Loft.
I had the great pleasure of spending a fabulous week at this property. An oasis in the center of this charming french town. 3 minutes walk to the town where you find boulangeries selling fresh croissants in the morning; to lovely restaurants scattered around the cobbled back streets and a fabulous weekend market. The surrounding area has much to offer for those keen on exploring Agde, Sete or beautiful Marseillan, to name just a few. The property itself is decorated to the highest standard. You can see it was a labour of love. Stylish and yet homely. The bedrooms beautifully decorated light and airy. Beds so comfortable. The kitchen designed for entertaining. A huge open plan sitting and dining area perfect for a cosy family meal or a dinner party, as we enjoyed on more than one occasion. The outside area perfect for a long day lounging by the pool or chilling in the evening with the bbq going. A totally private setting! What more could one ask for. Great communication with the owner. Nothing was a problem. I would highly recommend this property, if you are looking for a 5 star experience in a stunning location.
The photos and description did not disappoint! What a gorgeous get-away - secluded and peaceful, beautiful and well-laid out / well-equipped. We loved it and hope to return soon!
us étions en famille, la maison est parfaite pour cela. Mes parents logeaient dans l’appartement à l’écart de l'effervescence des plus petits, très bien équipé. La literie des lits est récente et confortable. Rien n'a manqué pour notre confort, des ventilateurs dans chaque chambre, tout était très propre. La maison est gigantesque mais le vrai plus c'est le jardin et la piscine! Grande zone engazonnée pour jouer au ballon, pétanque, table de ping-pong, potager.. et la piscine immense. Nombreux transats et fauteuils de jardin, barbec, plancha, ombre bref tous est parfait! Eva et son amie son adorable, n'hésitez pas à lui demander une bonne adresse pour un resto! Je recommande.
Juste pour vous dire que tout a été parfait à la Maison Carel. La villa est belle et magnifiquement bien équipée. Merci pour les ventilateurs qui nous ont bien été utiles.
Thank you both so much for a magical 5-night stay. We have absolutely loved staying here and will miss it when we go home! The gîte is amazing, beautiful inside and out. We really appreciate all of your efforts for making our stay so comfortable. Such a lovely touch having fresh bread, eggs and veg from your garden waiting for us - perfect. We loved feeding the chickens and the horse! Thank you also for all the recommendations on what to see and where to go, Russell. We will definitely be back!

Nous avons tout aimé, l'emplacement, les vues spectaculaires, la piscine incroyable et les lits extrêmement confortables ! L'ensemble était impeccablement présenté et vous nous avez très bien accueillis ! Nous avons certainement apprécié la bouteille à notre arrivée après le voyage que nous avions effectué ! Nous serions ravis de revenir dans un avenir pas trop lointain.
