Our weeks stay at Les Marquises was exceptional, this is due to the skilful combination of old and new, colour and light, greenery and shadow combined in a tasteful and harmonious style that characterises the interior of the house and its domain. When you stay in such a place, even for only one week, a place that was restored, recreated and maintained with so much love, you can only love it back, the house, garden, the scenery creates a rare feeling of magic that will stay with us. We felt wonderful and grateful to be guests at the house. Thank you.
Nous sommes bien arrivés à la maison après notre agréable voyage en France. Et bien sûr, la meilleure partie était notre séjour dans votre charmante maison. C'est le meilleur logement locatif dans lequel nous ayons été en raison du sentiment que nous étions dans une vraie maison - il est joliment décoré avec une telle attention aux détails. Il n'y avait rien que vous n'ayez fourni dans chaque pièce et une quantité incroyable d'activités pour amuser tout le monde. Nous sommes juste tristes que les petits-enfants ne soient pas avec nous car ils auraient adoré la piscine et le jardin. Nous avons envoyé des vidéos de la salle de jeux avec la voie ferrée installée car mon petit-fils en a une à la maison !
Merci beaucoup de nous avoir permis de séjourner dans votre maison. Nous y avons passé un très bon moment avec nos enfants. Le temps était splendide. Nous avons apprécié la piscine, le jardin et toute la demeure. Nous avons réussi à faire quelques visites. Nous nous souviendrons longtemps de ce séjour et nous espérons revenir ici à l'avenir. Merci encore une fois pour tout.

Quelle expérience incroyable, dans une région vraiment magnifique de France (et nouvelle pour nous tous). La maison est charmante ainsi que la vue à 360° - magique ! Les enfants ont adoré la piscine et nous avons réussi à les en faire sortir pour manger, dormir et prendre la voiture !
Fantastic holiday! The villa is wonderful and we loved the garden and pool - and everyone was so helpful. It's great that Pézenas is within walking distance, there's such a good atmosphere there at night.
Rachel and Anthony made us feel welcome and were on hand, if needed, for any information. It was the best gite we have stayed at in twenty years of holidaying in France. Recommend taking train into Carcassonne from Bram. It is so easy and only 15 minutes or so.

The weather has been great so spent most of our time in the pool and on the sun loungers. We loved visiting the towns and villages nearby and particularly enjoyed the fresh pastries every morning! Thank you for the great holiday we had in this great villa and a holiday we will never forget, and a holiday we loved every minute of. We all will be very, very sad to be leaving! Merci!

A delightful week spent in a beautiful corner of France. We are at least 20Kg heavier! (Shared between four people, in our defence). Extremely comfortable and tasteful accommodation - thank you for the warm welcome.
Thank you, Sharon, for letting us stay in your gorgeous home “Maison Charvin”! The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and the kitchen is fully equipped. The saltwater swimming pool was a godsend as the temperature has been very high over our 2-week stay. The village and its residents are lovely and friendly. There is a small local market every Thursday evening with cheese, wine, beer and other items for sale. The local bar is lovely. You need to make a booking to eat there - It is called Vin de Dagne and bookings can be made online. The owner is very friendly and speaks excellent English. His cooking is excellent too. We got our daily pastries and baguettes from the local shop a few doors down from the bar/restaurant. There is also a pizza van on a Thursday night when the local bar/restaurant is closed. Sharon very kindly organised a visit to her vet as part of the animal health certificate requirements. We have had a fabulous time and Sharon has been so helpful. Thank you.
AMAZING! Our stay at the Loft has been our best since we started visiting this area five years ago. Relaxed, very comfortable, well equipped and spacious - it is the perfect place to return to after a day out or even from just around the corner by the pool! Karen and Russell have been a revelation in the way that they host their property. Right from our wine on arrival to booking a restaurant for us - nothing was a problem or too much trouble for them and the informative e-mails before we arrived were very handy and well-timed. They are a gem! As is their Loft and as their next venture will be. We just need another week here!
Une maison au calme très agréable pour un séjour en famille. Les enfants ont profité du très joli jardin, des jeux de ballon et de raquette. La terrasse est agréable pour les repas. La maison est idéalement conçue pour un espace intérieur calme et serein. Nous avons apprécié les excursions dans la région et notre tournoi de tennis.
Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances à la propriété et nous sommes sûrs que nous reviendrons pour de prochaines vacances.

Une excellente semaine en famille avec des petits (2, 5, 9 ans) et des grands qui ont bien profité de la piscine, des jeux, ping pong, volley... du barbecue et des nombreuses possibilités qu’offre la maison pour déjeuner, dîner, se reposer. Les villages autour organisent des marches en soirée où l’on peut rencontrer des producteurs et goûter aux spécialités locales (foie gras, magrets, vins...) De nombreux châteaux à visiter, et ballade en canoë sur la Dordogne. Un bon séjour dans une belle région.
Great feeling of space with plenty of room for children to play. Pool was superb and much used. The childrens swimming skills improved immensely. Thank you Takayla for lovely food and for accommodating late arrival and intolerances. Nick and Takayla were available and friendly without being intrusive. A fantastic time was had by all the family. Many thanks and looking forward to next year already.
So much space for everyone. Personally some softer pillows would have been appreciated. Everything you need for a holiday with children, outside and in. Catering excellent. Faultless service.
Thank you so much for your hospitality and kindness. The Loft has been amazing for us - so comfortable and beautifully decorated. We have very much enjoyed our morning coffees, lunches and dinners on the terrace. We have relaxed and read lots of books, which is just what we needed. It's hard to put into words how pretty Maison Rohmer and the surroundings are. The interior decor is very luxurious and tasteful and the house and setting is a dream. The Luberon/Haut-Vaucluse region is a lovely place to stay - well within reach of all of Provence's jewels - and provided our family with an excellent base. It the perfect place to both launch ourselves into the countryside to climb Mount Ventoux and visit the vineyards of Beaumes-de-Venise, or simply relax by the pool. During our stay, Aries (the property manager) visited a few times to keep the garden looking perfect and clean the pool and he was also extremely useful in giving ideas for things to do in the local area... like the evening market in Coustellet, which we would have never known otherwise. The owner, was also very patient and helpful in answering all of my queries! A perfect week in Provence.
I stayed in this stunning house in May this year. It is beautifully presented and very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. It has the added benefits of an outdoor swimming pool and a games room. The owner has gone to great lengths to make this a home away from home! It hides behind pretty old stone walls, just a few steps from the centre of the beautiful historic town of Pezenas. I am looking forward to returning in the future!
We have absolutely loved staying here. It's a stunning place - both inside and out. We enjoyed cooking meals in the excellent kitchen, eating on the terrace and had great times pool-side. This was a memorable holiday for us and our adult children - a very special time together for us all. Thank you both for everything you have done to make this happen. We would so love to come back.

C'était notre première escapade depuis trois ans à Londres et nous n'avons pas été déçus. Les températures élevées ont quelque peu freiné nos ambitions, mais Camirout est un véritable paradis pour les vacances ! Ce fut un plaisir de vous rencontrer et nous vous félicitons d'avoir franchi le pas vers une nouvelle vie ici en France. C'est une histoire inspirante ! Pendant notre séjour, nous avons beaucoup apprécié L'abbaye de Fontevraud - si belle et merveilleuse à explorer pour nous et nos enfants, Chinon - un tel caractère, même sous la pluie, l'atout doux du vin Coteaux du Layon (c'est magnifique, merci ), Azay le Rideau - un si beau village, de nombreuses boutiques intéressantes, des rues joliment présentées, Mona Pizza à Saumur, malgré le nom les pizzas (four à bois) étaient incroyables ! L'église de Cunault - magnifique 14ème siècle, les jardins du château de Villandry - les jardins étaient magnifiques, Montreuil ville basse - un charmant village, un magnifique château au centre et un grand atelier de poterie, la piscine et le jardin ! Apprécié par nous tous tous les jours. Le gîte était un vrai chez-soi, un vrai plaisir d'y séjourner. Nous espérons y revenir un jour !
