Niall, Steve, Sue and the team made us all feel most welcome and allowed us to make the place our own for the week, which was great and made for a very memorable holiday that was enjoyed by the whole family. Many thanks to all for making this possible.
Magnifique maison dans un petit village, à deux pas de toutes les commodités dont vous aurez besoin durant votre séjour. La climatisation est un must, tout comme la piscine qui offre une parfaite intimité. La cuisine d’été est très appréciable. Linda est également disponible au besoin et très gentille. We, grandparents, parents and our little daughter, spent two fantastic weeks in this wonderful villa in Fréjus. The villa offers plenty of room for a bigger family. You can find everything you need for a pleasant stay. It's fully furnished. lovely decorated and well appointed with kitchenware and with everything you might need. There is a lushy, well maintained garden with a swimming pool and plenty of sunbeds. We loved our stay there with the beautiful view over Fréjus to the sea. We can recommend this villa to everyone looking for a peaceful, quite summer vacation. The owners are as well extremely friendly and helpful.
Une semaine véritablement magique dans un château de rêve, au cœur d'un cadre idyllique. Une semaine absolument merveilleuse. Tout était parfait – un grand merci à tout le personnel qui s'est occupé de tout. Nous avons adoré l'immense piscine et les parties endiablées de baby-foot ! On ne veut pas partir ! Merci encore.
Very comfortable gite with friendly and helpful yet unobtrusive hosts. Lovely pool. Just 10 mins drive to excellent boulangerie and general store.
What a wonderful Loft! We love all the furniture; so lovely to have 'proper furnishings' and not sofas with throws! We loved all the 'Maisons du Monde' additions and the kitchen is great to cook in. Wonderful attention to detail, so that you really feel 'at home'. The terrace is fabulous; we loved sitting out there first thing in the morning. Thanks also for all the recommendations for the specialist wine tours - our wine trip was first rate. Your hospitality and company was excellent and we loved the trip to see 'Le Jardin Champetre' nursery - thank you. Also, the pool is so clear and wonderful to swim in.
An incredibly magical week in this very special home. With such a large (chaotic!) group it was wonderful to have so much space that the energetic children had so much to keep them busy and even allowed the adults to feel like they had R and R! Very much hoping to be able to come back and explore more as we enjoyed it immensely!
We've had a wonderful holiday. The house has been perfect for our three families and the pool is quite superb.
Thank you so much for an amazing stay, how will we cope without the view!!!! Main highlights include, hanging around the house, Mount Ventoux for go carting and tubing etc, watching the Tour de France at Grignan, Nyons for great markets and music in the evenings, les Barons perches Nyons for high ropes and Vaison la romaine.
We had a great stay at Maison du Gua over Easter. The weather was a real surprise (I had packed wellies and jumpers) but it was lovely. Sunny and warm enough for us all to enjoy the great swimming pool and lunch outside everyday. There were three generations staying (10 people) and we all had plenty of room to relax. Our three children (1, 3, 6) enjoyed the huge selection of quality toys, both indoors and provided for the garden. The baby loved the baby swing and his mum enjoyed the huge list of baby extras Mel provided, that made packing so much easier. Mel and Jim are very helpful and quick to respond with anything you need. Our thanks to to the lovely Elodie for making our stay so pleasant.
The property was everything we were hoping for and more. It's simple yet beautifully done out inside. The outdoor areas are great, particularly the pool. It's so well designed for a family holiday. The local village is so cute and the hotel restaurant great too. And obviously the local wine was delicious too! Couldn't have asked for more.

What a beautiful place to spend a week. The villa is fabulous, spacious and homely with everything we needed. The location was perfect to explore Collioure on foot. We have never visited this part of France before, so we have loved investigating and had some fantastic meals!
À Utopie. Il y a beaucoup de choses qui contribuent à des vacances parfaites dans une maison. L'emplacement : Les Granels est situé dans la partie la plus idyllique du sud de la France. La vue : la vue est spectaculaire. Les prestations : deux lave-vaisselle, une bonne connexion Wi-Fi, des systèmes sonos extraordinaires, une salle de sport, un bain à remous, des tonnes d'équipements sportifs, une multitude de gonflables, sans oublier la meilleure machine à café de tous les temps. L'espace : cette maison est vaste. Beaucoup d'endroits où s'évader et se détendre et de nombreux endroits où se réunir et discuter. La piscine : la piscine est incroyable, une température constante et des lumières sous l'eau. Mais, la chose de loin la plus importante pour des vacances reposantes est une literie confortable. Les matelas et les lits des Granels sont les plus confortables sur lesquels j'aie jamais dormi. On se rapproche du confort d'un hôtel 5 étoiles. Cette maison est le summum de la détente. Un merveilleux espace, chic et haut de gamme, qui ne manquera pas de vous débarrasser de vos soucis et de votre stress. De la réservation initiale avec les échanges avec les agents de Pure France jusqu'au gestionnaire Steve, très professionnel et accueillant, toute l'expérience a été plaisante. La maison était impeccable à notre arrivée. Nous avons eu quelques problèmes mineurs que Steve a réglés très rapidement. Nous étions tristes de partir. Nous rêvons d'y retourner. Nous recommandons vivement.
We had the most wonderful ‘family and friends ‘gathering at La Petite Maison Générille. The hosts were most wonderful and nothing was too much trouble . They told us of markets, restaurants, gardens and vineyards… all were wonderful. The houses are spacious and well equipped the grounds and gardens perfect and the salt water pool... bliss. We had children and tiny grandchildren with us and it was the perfect base to explore the wonderful villages such as Sarlat with its night market and Domme . We went canoeing and swam in the river, visited nearby châteaux and ended our week at a wonderful Bricante taking a few French antiques home… Altogether a fabulous week I only wish we had stayed longer ! We look forward to returning to this very special place with wonderful hosts who were so kind and helpful.
A great time was had by all. We loved this little piece of paradise in Provence! Magnifique! Hope we'll be back again sometime.
Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour aux Granels, merci, et recommanderions la maison à tout le monde, en particulier aux familles avec enfants. Un merci spécialement à Karri pour ses conseils utiles et son excellent nettoyage.
We were not too familiar with the region, but since we live in a highly fast-paced city, we knew we wanted a tranquil and somewhat less-touristy vacation spot surrounded by nature. Through an amazing agency, we were able to lease the cottage for two weeks in late August and had an amazing time there. The property dates back to 1750 and is fully well-renovated - every detail has been taken into consideration so one is able to enjoy the experience of staying in an authentic French country house, but with modern amenities that enhance the original character of the property, rather than detract from it. The town and the people are very charming and there are restaurants, cafés, a grocery store, shops, butcher shops, etc. and an excellent choice of patisseries and boulangeries, which my husband happily frequented every morning in order to bring back fresh breakfast goodies! There is a weekly market in the town square, just a 5-minute drive from the house selling amazing produce and other artisanal delights! The town is within a comfortable drive from beautiful sites in neighboring Beynac, Sarlat and Bergerac, not counting other small picturesque places you find on the way. And if you haven't done much research, fret not because the owners of the home have compiled quite an impressive binder of information with all of the popular attractions and must-see places in the area. I do not over-exaggerate when I say the house is extremely well-equipped as if it were our own home! When we were not out sightseeing during the morning, we were downstairs preparing food in the kitchen, which may seem small in the photos, but it is spacious and the layout is wonderful - the oven and stove are ideal for seasoned cooks, there is a full-size dishwasher and tons of pots, pans, utensils, gadgets and appliances - all in superb condition, so we wanted for nothing. Overall, we had an excellent stay at Maison Bourg Cales, which I would highly recommend to anyone in search of an idyllic, quiet getaway in the beautiful French countryside.
What can we say? The fabulous ‘Loft’ is exceeded only by the warmth and generosity of you the hosts! We will return!
Nous avons passé une semaine fantastique et reposante. Installations impeccables, hôtes formidables. Quel endroit magnifique ! Nous avons apprécié la piscine et la pétanque.
Nous venons de séjourner dans cette superbe maison. Elle a tout pour plaire. Calme et vue magnifique depuis une ancienne grange magnifiquement restaurée. Tout le confort nécessaire pour un séjour inoubliable : climatisation, piscine flambant neuve, cuisine entièrement équipée, le tout agrémenté par la rencontre avec Florence, la propriétaire qui habite à côté. Les supermarchés sont à seulement 10 minutes en voiture, ce qui en fait un endroit idéal. Merci Florence, passez un bel été et soyez rassurée : vous aurez encore beaucoup de visiteurs satisfaits.
Maison isolée parfaitement équipée avec vue magnifique! Nous avons occupé la villa uniquement et nous y sommes sentis très bien. Il y a moyen d'être tous ensemble autour de la piscine ou de s'isoler dans un des nombreux endroits aménagés. Une seule recommandation, n'oubliez pas vos tongs pour passer de la maison à la piscine car il y a quelques graviers sur l'allée.
Belle villa dans une merveilleuse région, paisible et pittoresque, dans la campagne française ! Merci pour ce beau séjour et ces 2 semaines de repos ! Un temps magnifique, de nombreux souvenirs chauds et ensoleillés à ramener à la maison dans une Angleterre pluvieuse. Frédéric était incroyable, très sympathique et serviable.
