Thank you for a wonderful stay! The house and views are gorgeous. We loved visiting Saint-Clar, Condom and off course Lectoure, which has everything you could wish for including the fantastic spa. What a relaxing treat!
This is a spacious, stylish house perfect for families, friends and couples in the heart of pretty Vezenobres located within an easy hour of mountains, rivers, gorgeous markets, Roman towns with their summer festivals and even the Mediterranean. The house itself is so lovely both in and out - you will no doubt be back again and again!
Merci pour ce beau séjour. La maison est très confortable et constitue une base idéale pour explorer la région. Les moments forts ont été Dinan, Le Mont-Saint-Michel et Faugères. Nous avons aussi aimé conduire à travers la campagne. La boulangerie de Bazouges-la-Pérouse était fantastique ! Nous avons adoré le panier de bienvenue - c'était un cadeau tellement attentionné et utile. Merci pour ce merveilleux séjour!
Thanks for a truly wonderful week. The house, garden and pool are really fabulous. We had a wonderfully relaxing time and didn't do as much exploring as we should have done as we couldn't tear ourselves away from the garden / pool. Don't miss Friday evening in Pézenas with the high street market, food, wine and music.
We adored our stay at this charming renovated farmhouse, with views to keep in our memory forever. This house truly suited our family with our two sons, partners and grandchildren. The kitchen was excellent and overall the house had every facility we would look for, the pool and table tennis rooms were regularly in the daily family tournaments, that took place. Sitting outside at the covered dining table for breakfast and evening meals was a great pleasure daily. The swimming pool has sun for the majority of the day so keeps a good temperature for swimming and the steps enabled our grandson to build his water confidence. The Thursday market in Nyons is excellent and Vaison le romaine is full of history. Les Marquises is one of our favourite holiday experiences, great location and great house.
Nous avons passé un relaxant séjour dans votre maison, qui est incroyable. Elle est très bien équipée et superbement décorée.
La Cigalière est une location de vacances très spacieuse, calme, bien aménagée et confortable, pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 8 personnes dans la magnifique région du Languedoc. Nous avons partagé de délicieux dîners en famille autour de la table extérieure, après une baignade en fin d'après-midi dans la grande piscine, aussi accueillante que sécurisée. Les chambres sont toutes très confortables et bien aménagées, et la cuisine est spacieuse et parfaitement équipée. Nos voitures étaient en sécurité dans le grand garage indépendant, et nous avons profité de la vaste salle de détente familiale pour jouer et regarder des films sur grand écran. Si vous appréciez les moments en famille dans un hébergement de qualité au cœur du Languedoc historique, avec des dégustations de vin à deux pas, alors La Cigalière est faite pour vous. We were not too familiar with the region, but since we live in a highly fast-paced city, we knew we wanted a tranquil and somewhat less-touristy vacation spot surrounded by nature. Through an amazing agency, we were able to lease the cottage for two weeks in late August and had an amazing time there. The property dates back to 1750 and is fully well-renovated - every detail has been taken into consideration so one is able to enjoy the experience of staying in an authentic French country house, but with modern amenities that enhance the original character of the property, rather than detract from it. The town and the people are very charming and there are restaurants, cafés, a grocery store, shops, butcher shops, etc. and an excellent choice of patisseries and boulangeries, which my husband happily frequented every morning in order to bring back fresh breakfast goodies! There is a weekly market in the town square, just a 5-minute drive from the house selling amazing produce and other artisanal delights! The town is within a comfortable drive from beautiful sites in neighboring Beynac, Sarlat and Bergerac, not counting other small picturesque places you find on the way. And if you haven't done much research, fret not because the owners of the home have compiled quite an impressive binder of information with all of the popular attractions and must-see places in the area. I do not over-exaggerate when I say the house is extremely well-equipped as if it were our own home! When we were not out sightseeing during the morning, we were downstairs preparing food in the kitchen, which may seem small in the photos, but it is spacious and the layout is wonderful - the oven and stove are ideal for seasoned cooks, there is a full-size dishwasher and tons of pots, pans, utensils, gadgets and appliances - all in superb condition, so we wanted for nothing. Overall, we had an excellent stay at Maison Bourg Cales, which I would highly recommend to anyone in search of an idyllic, quiet getaway in the beautiful French countryside.

Nos enfants ont passé des heures à explorer le jardin et à profiter de l'espace et de la liberté qu'il leur offrait. Merci beaucoup.
We’ve taken Villa Lavinière into our hearts from day one. The house, the pool and the surroundings are wonderful. We loved beautiful and peaceful Minerve, Perpignan and even rainy Carcassonne. The birds singing near the pool meant we didn’t even need the Sonos! Grand Café Occitan served fantastic wine and delicious food.
Je voulais juste dire combien nous avons apprécié nos vacances aux Granels. La villa correspondait à ce que nous espérions, et était magnifiquement équipée, et le bonus supplémentaire était la salle de jeux merveilleusement équipée, qui, comme nous avions 5 enfants de moins de 7 ans, nous a absolument ravis. Je voudrais dire que Karri était un vrai bijou, efficace, pleine de bonne humeur, d'une patience infinie avec nos petits-enfants qui l'aimaient tellement qu'ils ont pleuré quand elle nous a dit au revoir. Elle a vraiment fait de nos vacances un succès et a permis à nos enfants plutôt épuisés (leurs parents) d'avoir quelques heures de congé bien méritées. Nous lui sommes vraiment reconnaissants. L'autre grande joie était les repas que Carol et Andy nous ont cuisinés, juste au cas où les futurs clients voudraient qu'on leur fasse la cuisine pendant leur séjour.
Waouh, quelle magnifique maison ! Elle avait tout ce qu'il nous fallait pour des vacances familiales parfaites. Merci de nous l'avoir fait découvrir, nous gardons de merveilleux souvenirs de notre séjour. C'était notre premier séjour en Dordogne et nous avons été conquis par la beauté des paysages, sans oublier les excellents restaurants et les délicieux croissants et chocolats ! Les jardins sont splendides, embaumés par le parfum de la lavande et des roses (mes préférées).
It’s hard to know where to begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. Your property is so well set up and we made good use of the barbecue, tennis court, boules, darts, table tennis and of course, the pool which beats all other swimming pools we’ve ever had on holiday... and the shady areas when the sun got just that bit too hot. So much thought has obviously gone into it all and it made our holiday very special. The four teenage grandchildren we had with us had a ball and we all loved the Lot countryside, its villages and the sunflowers. How can you not be happy when you’ve got fields of them within a few steps from your door? The two Marches Gourmands we went to at Tournon and Saux were brilliant fun - the food on offer at Saux was particularly good and Tournon is such a pretty place. Our daughter loved going for early morning runs, seeing a hare and on two occasions, a deer, amongst sunflowers. Swimming in the Lot, cycling and canoeing are all on our list of favourite things we did. We also have a great picture of three of the red squirrels on the tree near the bolet - what a brilliant place for breakfast. Thank you so very much from all of us. We have returned again as promised and, despite the worst weather we have experienced in France in over 20 years, we had a lovely time. Even indoors there were still plenty of things to do in the sheltered area to sit and play card games, or challenge each other to a game of table tennis in the barn. A very comfortable and well-equipped house. Thank you for your kind hospitality and we hope to return again soon!
Waouh, quel séjour absolument merveilleux ! La maison a tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin. Elle est isolée et calme, mais tellement proche de tout. Nous avons même fait un plongeon dans la piscine !!! Nous avons fait une belle promenade autour de Beynac et avons déjeuné délicieusement à l'Hôtel Du Château. Le magasin de vins local nous a bien approvisionnés, nous avons aussi goûté beaucoup de fromages incroyables. Merci beaucoup pour tout, nous espérons vraiment revenir bientôt !

Une vieille bâtisse dans un lieu un peu isolé où il règne une tranquillité et un calme voulue. Une maison décorée avec beaucoup de goût ! Une piscine ensoleillée du matin au soir idéale pour se détendre et bronzer avec juste un coin d'ombre où il fait bon se poser et profiter. Des hôtes discrets, agréables et aux petits soins pour ses invités !
“Quelles vacances fantastiques nous avons passées dans la belle maison de Debbie et Rupert! La maison était si belle et confortable et si bien située à côté des vignes. La famille s'est tellement amusée au bord de la piscine et a également réussi à s'aventurer dans les magnifiques villages environnants. Debbie et Rupert étaient si accueillants que nous avons même fini par rester quelques jours de plus ! Nous nous sommes définitivement fait de nouveaux amis formidables et nous avons hâte de revenir !
We (family of four, 2 adults and 2 children) enjoyed a lovely week here in July. Fantastic with private pool which was cleaned every day, walking distance to pretty village and bakers, lovely and very welcoming hosts. The house contains two sweet bedrooms, large and relaxing lounge / kitchen area, outdoor kitchen and terrace plus a nice pavilion by the pool. Lots of games available including a table tennis table. Had a great week and happy to recommend.
We have absolutely loved staying here. It's a stunning place - both inside and out. We enjoyed cooking meals in the excellent kitchen, eating on the terrace and had great times pool-side. This was a memorable holiday for us and our adult children - a very special time together for us all. Thank you both for everything you have done to make this happen. We would so love to come back.
I just wanted to say that we all found your house to be absolutely lovely. Everything we could have hoped for. So many nice touches, you clearly put a lot of thought and no doubt effort into making it a very special place. Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour à Richelieu. La maison est extrêmement élégante et avait tout le nécessaire. La piscine et les espaces de divertissement à l'extérieur étaient excellents. C'était une maison fantastique.
An absolutely fabulous villa, decorated and furnished inside and out to an exceptional standard. Perfect location with an amazing pool and relaxation area. Very efficient air conditioning. The advertising for this villa does not do it justice. Facilities like this are hard to find in a holiday rental.
Fantastic stay in a wonderful house. Wonderful house for 7 people. The rooms were very spacious, as was the outside space. Excellent for families I would say. Very warm welcome by the host and pool was attended to throughout. Nice touch of having towels and bed linen changed during the stay for no extra charge (a first). Many thanks to Victoire and Gaby.
We have had a fantastic stay in this fabulous property and wanted to say how much we loved The Loft! It was everything we had expected and more; it is fantastically equipped and we wanted for nothing. Karen and Russell are excellent hosts and we hope to stay here again in the future. Stunning retreat Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed our time in your gorgeous home. We all spent hours in the pool and visited the neighbouring vineyard for some delicious rose, Corinne's daughter Chloe served up some fantastic food and Isabelle looked after the kids while we escaped two nights. It really is a stunning retreat.
We've had a great week with our two kids, 7 and 3. Wonderful pool, we also loved the outdoor kitchen area. We really enjoyed Chateau Bonaguil – simple but just the right size for our kids. Aux Étangs du Bos – we had a great time on the water slides, inflatable course and other activities! A short trip to Monflanquin was enjoyed with a crêpe! Thank you for being a great host Pete, it’s a great gite!
