Le château est tres beau l'entretient est fait regulierement on passe de bon moment et l'ambiance avec les personnes c'est vraiment formidable je suis tres contente de se château magnifique un grand merci aux proprietaire.
We all liked this house because of the pool and the bedrooms and especially the BIG BIG garden. We love that there is a pool table. The kids and adults love jumping in the pool. Hope we get to come here again. We all didn't want to leave.
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour de 2 semaines au Pigat. Il y a beaucoup de place et la maison est très bien équipée avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Nous recommandons la livraison quotidienne de pain frais pour tous ceux qui séjournent ici. Délicieux. Nous avons passé des journées de farniente au bord de la piscine. Nous nous sommes beaucoup d'amusés. Les soirées se passent à dîner en terrasse. Nous tenons à remercier tout le monde pour un accueil très sympathique à notre arrivée.

Well equipped, nice pool and amazing views! We had a wonderful time in this beautiful villa. Corinne is a great host, quick to respond and accommodating. The house and especially the kitchen is very well equipped, it had everything we needed and we felt very welcomed. We loved spending the day by the pool and taking in the picture perfect views from the top terrace during the evenings. Seillans and the neighbouring area are a true gem, the nature, nice markets and plenty of local produce. Quiet area but full of life, just perfect. We loved our stay here and highly recommend it!

Thank you both for the most wonderful stay at your beautiful villa. We’ve had the most incredible week exploring the South of France – an area we love – and discovering new places. This spot is extremely special and we’ve relished the relaxing days and evenings spent here (made even more special by the sighting of a wild boar with babies and your marvellous set up for the gorgeous cats) – thank you for showing us this! The secluded spot, surrounded by woodland, an aromatic and fragrant garden attracting many butterflies, a beautiful pool and terrace area is somewhere we won’t forget and would love to come back to. Everything has been thought of at this place which makes it so homely. Everything from kitchen utensils and supplies to the BBQ, bowls and the TV set-up – the place has it all. You have both been such friendly and discrete hosts, allowing us such privacy and the personality you have stamped on the place (from plants, to artwork and sculptures as well as the lovely cats) makes this space so full of character too. Thanks again and we wish you both the best – hopefully we’ll return in the future!

Tres belle maison, parfaite pour un grand groupe de personnes comme le notre (10+, plusieurs familles). Tout est là pour les enfants! Hôtes tres accueillants qui ont répondu immédiatement lorsqu'il y avait une demande. En bordure d'un beau petit village, la majorité des choses à faire sont à environ 30-45 minutes de la maison. Je vais préfacer cet avis en précisant que notre grande famille a loué un certain nombre de châteaux au fil des ans, nous avons donc de quoi comparer ! Sans aucun doute, ce château offrait le meilleur rapport qualité-prix que nous ayons jamais trouvé. Notre groupe de 18 personnes a utilisé les 10 chambres proposées, sans que personne n'ait à faire de compromis sur l'espace de la chambre. La cuisine était assez grande pour accueillir toute le groupe avec suffisamment de plan de travail et un grand îlot. Pour une fois, nous avons trouvé beaucoup d'ustensiles de cuisine et de casseroles de taille professionnelle, etc. Il y a trois réfrigérateurs, nous avons utilisé le grand réfrigérateur pour la nourriture et les deux réfrigérateurs sous le comptoir pour les boissons «adultes» et enfants. Le salon-salle à manger est immense et confortable, avec des jeux de bonne qualité disponibles, notamment des échecs et du backgammon. La piscine est parmi les plus grandes que nous ayons jamais utilisées avec un bassin profond dans lequel vous pouvez réellement plonger. À certains moments, nous avions une douzaine de personnes dans la piscine et nous avions encore de la place pour nager. Il y a deux terrasses principales, toutes deux pouvant facilement accueillir au moins 20 personnes. De plus petits espaces salons sont disséminés sur le terrain, donc si vous y êtes enclin, vous pouvez vous retirer pour un peu de paix et de tranquillité. Il y a un barbecue de très bonne qualité sur la terrasse arrière avec un plateau à charbon mobile, ce qui signifie que vous pouvez augmenter la source de chaleur lorsque le charbon brûle. Nous avons pu faire un barbecue pendant 18 heures sur un demi-sac de morceaux de bois. Notre groupe avait 5 voitures, l'allée était assez grande pour qu'elles puissent être garées afin que tout le monde puisse sortir du château sans avoir besoin de déplacer un autre véhicule. Gardant le meilleur pour la fin, la salle de sport/salle de jeux est magnifique. Avec un terrain de badminton pleine grandeur, un panier de basket-ball, 2 tables de tennis de table, un baby-foot, un jeu de fléchettes et une table de billard pleine grandeur, tout notre groupe avait de nombreuses activités parmi lesquelles choisir. Cette installation était constamment utilisée pour les éliminatoires d'une semaine, y compris notre propre événement de type décathlon. La pudeur m'empêche de révéler qui était le meilleur joueur de billard. De notre point de vue, cette vaste gamme d'installations et d'activités a fourni les ingrédients parfaits à nos premières vacances où nous n'avions pas à divertir les enfants. Enfin un endroit où ils peuvent vraiment s'amuser. Enfin, Richard et Nicky étaient des hôtes parfaits, nous n'aurions pas pu être mieux reçus.
Stunning property overlooking lake. Property is in great location but not isolated, walking distance to bar, restaurant, Boulangerie and takeaway pizza shop (or 2 mins in car). Property is in excellent condition and is very clean and well looked after, the pool is great for a cooling dip, the area around the pool is also modern and clean with nice furniture too. Comfortable beds with crisp bedding, everything has been thought of with a lovely modern kitchen, unique dining table, comfortable clean sofa. Great views overlooking the lake but still very private. The house also stays quite cool as it's shaded by the trees which was great in the heatwave. The owners are really helpful and take pride in their special property. Thank you for such a wonderful holiday, will definitely be recommending to friends and family and would stay again when visiting this beautiful area of France *****
We booked for 3 weeks this past summer at the Maison Emz. It was a fantastic experience. Jacky and Anna are absolutely wonderful.

Plenty of room for the whole family. Lovely outdoor dining area with scenic pond. BBQ was great. The swimming pool area was beautiful, very clean and child friendly. There was enough seating in all spaces for the whole family. Thank you for a very enjoyable holiday.
Our second stay at 'Mel's place', the first was in 2012. Returned with 2 more grand children and a grand son's girlfriend. Have stayed in many houses over the years - this is by far the best. Brilliant pool for everyone, loads of space for the children to play and a secret garden if you want to get away from it. We didn't go far - we just enjoyed the opportunity for us all to get together for a relaxing holiday. Also there is so much equipment and toys for the children - Mel's thought of everything, an excellent host.
Just to say how much we enjoyed staying at Le Grand Verger for the last two weeks. What an amazing house in such a beautiful setting, we all found it so relaxing and inspirational, with lots of music, games and reading. A truly memorable family get together with lots of photographs to remind us. We loved La Romieu (thank you for the recommendation) where the gardens were superb and the Collégiale Saint-Pierre certainly an experience with the spiral staircases! Loved the herbs in the garden too which we used daily and several trips were made to the ice cream shop in the village, the green tomato and basil was a new find and delicious. We were lucky with the weather, providing lots of opportunity for swimming and generally relaxing. Thank you again, we'd loved to return in the future.
Had an amazing holiday. The villa could not have been better. Had everything we needed including free Wi-Fi and access to English TV. The pool was great and heated so we could go in it all the time. The area was lovely. Food was brilliant and overall we have a really lovely holiday and would definitely come back to the villa.
We’ve had an amazing time with beautiful weather and an amazing pool to cool down in! The location is perfect to get around and do some sightseeing. We recommend Perigueux, Brantome and market day in Riberac. Your house is one we won’t forget.
