From the minute we arrived we were made to feel at home with brilliant accommodation including a lovely pool and Martyn and Jean looked after us giving suggestion of places to visit. The area was brilliant with lots to see and many restaurants within a ten minute drive plus one restaurant, bakers butchers and general store all within walking distance. A special thank you to Ombre for keeping our football skills on song. I would thoroughly recommend.
Une belle maison dans un beau village. Les hôtes sont tellement accueillants et la maison dispose de tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Nous ne voulions pas partir ! :) La Table de Jean est un restaurant très recommandé, avec une cuisine et un personnel fantastique. Beau séjour.
Nous avons passé un superbe séjour. La vieille ville de Carcassonne, la jolie Minerve, de bons restaurants de gastronomie locale. Grand café en bas de la rue à Félines-Minervois pour un long déjeuner. La piscine est un régal pour se rafraîchir. J'espère revenir.
C'était un beau voyage et nous réserverons certainement à nouveau la villa pour y revenir!
L'endroit idéal pour se retrouver en famille ou entre amis. Le reste du groupe l'a parfaitement résumé plus tôt. Nous sommes incroyablement reconnaissants d'avoir eu l'occasion de venir et nous sourions encore en repensant à Freddie.
Quel endroit fabuleux où séjourner pendant une semaine. La villa est magnifique et possède tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin.
We had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful home. The kitchen and living area was so spacious and comfortable and the outside space was equally ideal. The pool was delightful and spacious allowing the six of us to enjoy it at the same time. The kitchen had everything we could ask for - literally home from home. The only regret about this holiday was having only one week there as it wasn’t long enough! We most definitely would return.
We have been staying here with our grown up children who have not been to this area before, and have loved the house and the area. The weather has been so hot! So we really appreciated the wonderful pool. A great kitchen which we have used extensively and adore having every meal outside. Thank you for your help and your lovely house.

We have just returned from two weeks at La Roquette and had an amazing time. We are a group of 10, two parents, 4 adult daughters and now their partners who have been holidaying annually for 34 years now and I have to say this place is hard to beat. The setting is beautiful . Deer and hares in the fields and birds as the only sound. The house itself is so well equipped with plenty of space inside and outside to be together or to seperate and a wonderful pool which was very much needed in a heatwave of 40 degrees!! We did a wonderful vineyard tour/tasting at Domaine Bois de Devès with a lovely English wine maker, Nick Smith,and visited several recommended restaurants, the local Burger bar being a huge favourite…only 6 mins away. We will definitely return in the future when it’s cooler to explore more. Many thanks to all at Pure France, to Patricia the owner and Andrew (the pool guy) for always being on hand for questions and to help. Highly recommended!
Fabulous house, beautifully decorated with everything we could possibly need for a lovely holiday. The pool and pool toys were a great hit with our 4 year old. We have holidayed numerous times in France and this was by far the best, from the welcoming email to the comfy beds and linen. Mark and Janet have made this a beautiful holiday home. We had a hot week and made the most of being at home! Thank you for a lovely stay! P.S. The Tuesday night market in Laparade was fun and definitely worth a visit! Our daughter loved her bedroom + the toys kept her occupied in the morning!
We had a lovely time at your house, we really like Pézenas and the surrounding area. The house itself was superb and very well equipped, we and our 18, 20 and 21 year old children were very happy. Being able to enjoy the shops and restaurants in Pézenas then wander back to the tranquillity of the house made for a great holiday.
We were not too familiar with the region, but since we live in a highly fast-paced city, we knew we wanted a tranquil and somewhat less-touristy vacation spot surrounded by nature. Through an amazing agency, we were able to lease the cottage for two weeks in late August and had an amazing time there. The property dates back to 1750 and is fully well-renovated - every detail has been taken into consideration so one is able to enjoy the experience of staying in an authentic French country house, but with modern amenities that enhance the original character of the property, rather than detract from it. The town and the people are very charming and there are restaurants, cafés, a grocery store, shops, butcher shops, etc. and an excellent choice of patisseries and boulangeries, which my husband happily frequented every morning in order to bring back fresh breakfast goodies! There is a weekly market in the town square, just a 5-minute drive from the house selling amazing produce and other artisanal delights! The town is within a comfortable drive from beautiful sites in neighboring Beynac, Sarlat and Bergerac, not counting other small picturesque places you find on the way. And if you haven't done much research, fret not because the owners of the home have compiled quite an impressive binder of information with all of the popular attractions and must-see places in the area. I do not over-exaggerate when I say the house is extremely well-equipped as if it were our own home! When we were not out sightseeing during the morning, we were downstairs preparing food in the kitchen, which may seem small in the photos, but it is spacious and the layout is wonderful - the oven and stove are ideal for seasoned cooks, there is a full-size dishwasher and tons of pots, pans, utensils, gadgets and appliances - all in superb condition, so we wanted for nothing. Overall, we had an excellent stay at Maison Bourg Cales, which I would highly recommend to anyone in search of an idyllic, quiet getaway in the beautiful French countryside.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans cette belle maison spacieuse. La piscine et l'espace extérieur sont absolument incroyables. De plus, il y a beaucoup de beaux endroits à visiter à distance de conduite. Nous recommandons fortement !
It’s hard to know where to begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. Your property is so well set up and we made good use of the barbecue, tennis court, boules, darts, table tennis and of course, the pool which beats all other swimming pools we’ve ever had on holiday... and the shady areas when the sun got just that bit too hot. So much thought has obviously gone into it all and it made our holiday very special. The four teenage grandchildren we had with us had a ball and we all loved the Lot countryside, its villages and the sunflowers. How can you not be happy when you’ve got fields of them within a few steps from your door? The two Marches Gourmands we went to at Tournon and Saux were brilliant fun - the food on offer at Saux was particularly good and Tournon is such a pretty place. Our daughter loved going for early morning runs, seeing a hare and on two occasions, a deer, amongst sunflowers. Swimming in the Lot, cycling and canoeing are all on our list of favourite things we did. We also have a great picture of three of the red squirrels on the tree near the bolet - what a brilliant place for breakfast. Thank you so very much from all of us. Fabulous home in a beautiful location This was easily one of the best holidays we have had. The house itself is beautiful, it's been refurbished to a high standard from the waterfall showers in the high spec bathrooms to the large range in the kitchen to the cosy decorating in the bedrooms. The back garden has a lovely private in ground pool to cool off in and the surrounding patio has loungers to sunbathe in and is surrounded by pretty landscaping. There are endless beaches and historic towns to visit within short driving distance but you will be equally as content not leaving the house. The village is lovely, it has a couple of pubs and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk from the house, along with boulangeries, a butchers, green grocers and a supermarket. Markets every other day in the square. The house is within a stones throw of it all which we found so handy. Terry was always available should you need any assistance and was very thoughtful and considerate, as was his housekeeper agent Paul. I can't say enough about this property, it was fabulous in every way!
Just a quick note to let you know that we had a wonderful holiday at Mas de Lozanne. Beautiful house, well looked after, close to the fabulous town of Pézenas with some brilliant weather. Thank you so much, Pure France was an exceptional company to deal with and I would highly recommend the company to anyone.
Notre séjour ici est excellent : nous avons tout ce dont nous avons besoin pour passer d'excellentes vacances dans votre maison très confortable avec une vue fantastique mais relaxante sur les tournesols et les Pyrénées. Un grand merci pour le panier que vous nous avez laissé, nous l'apprécions ! On l'a vite compris : cette semaine sera bien trop courte…
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à la Maison Bonnet. Cette maison est très bien équipée et très agréable à vivre aussi bien à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur. Notre hôte David a été très sympathique et très réactif. Nous recommandons chaudement ce lieu de villégiature.

Alexandra Stoddard Dès l'instant où nous avons emprunté l'allée bordé d'arbres menant au château, nous savions que nous allions passer un séjour magique. Un grand merci pour le temps que vous nous avez consacré en nous accompagnant à la cave Les Jamelles et pour le bon vin offert aussi. Nous avons tous apprécié la belle décoration à l'intérieur du château - papiers peints uniques, draps luxueux, etc. Être entouré de vignes et de jardins avec une belle piscine enrichit l'ambiance.
An amazing house with the best swimming pool we have ever seen! 16 of us stayed in this lovely house for 2 weeks as we took the little gîte as well. We had a fabulous holiday. You have to drive up through fields of sunflowers to get there – a great welcome. We had loads of children but the pool is so big they spent the whole time doing acrobatics in it – and there was still room for us adults, when we managed to peel ourselves off the sun loungers. Evenings were spent playing tennis on the courts in the house grounds, BBQs, or local restaurants.
Vero et Thierry ont fait de ce corps de ferme une maison très agréable à vivre. Nous avons aimé les différents recoins pour se prélasser en fonction de l’heure de la journée : Pool house la journée pour les repas, salon marocain pour les apéros le tout autour d’une grande piscine. Tout est fonctionnel, propre et il ne manque rien. La literie est de très bonne qualité quelque soit les chambres. Jeux de boules et fléchettes, un immense jardin. Nous étions en famille avec des enfants (7 personnes en tout) qui ont été eux aussi conquis. Nous recommandons vivement leur maison et serons de retour sans aucun doute.
What a joy! We had such an amazing week at your fantastic house! We loved the house, the garden and the pool! The weather was perfect. We had a wonderful evening at ‘Poquelin’ and we had dinner at several of the restaurants recommended. (Chez Leo!!) Golf at Cháteau les Merles, what a beautiful place. We would love to come back.
The photos and description did not disappoint! What a gorgeous get-away - secluded and peaceful, beautiful and well-laid out / well-equipped. We loved it and hope to return soon!

Superbe location dans un coin de verdure très calme. Tout était parfait avec mention spéciale pour la piscine chauffée qui a fait le bonheur du petit fils. À louer les yeux fermés.
I just wanted to feed back what a lovely time we had in the villa a couple of weeks ago. The holiday was well worth waiting for and the villa delivered on all levels. We were certainly very grateful for the pool to cool off from the sweltering 40c heat and the lovely shaded areas surrounding the pool helped too. Most importantly, our mums had a lovely time. They were each able to have an ensuite bathroom which gave them their own space and privacy and thoroughly enjoyed the pool - even enjoying a splash about with an inflatable dolphin at one stage! (not bad for an 80 year old!) Please pass on our grateful thanks to the owners for allowing us the extra day for free and also allowing our early arrival which made things much easier on the Saturday. The Mums were already in the pool by the time we got back from the supermarket on the Saturday morning. A great success all round, excellent service from Pure France during all the covid changes and a wonderful villa too. Thank you
We would like to thank you for the wonderful holiday we enjoyed again last year in Navacelles. This house is a heaven on earth. We stayed here twice over the last 3 years (not 3 times only because we were too late to book). Very quiet, wonderful views and still close enough to restaurants and shops. Everything the website promised us was there. The house is superbly decorated and has a wonderful garden and pool. The kids (and the parents) had their highlight of the year again. We won't tell anyone how nice this place is:-). We ll be back soon...
Ce n'était pas notre première visite à La Barde et encore une fois nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances en famille. La maison possède beaucoup de caractère tout en étant à la fois spacieuse et confortable. La cuisine est bien équipée et les coins salons à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur peuvent accueillir confortablement 10 personnes. Le jardin est magnifique et regorge de plantes et d'arbustes variés et colorés tandis que la piscine est grande et nettoyée régulièrement par le propriétaire. Encore une fois, nous avons profité de belles journées à Saint-Émilion, Brantôme et Cognac pour n'en citer que quelques-unes - et bien sûr d'agréables boissons en soirée à Verteillac. Merci - nous gardons de précieux souvenirs de ces vacances fantastiques !
