Thank you for much for another wonderful stay at your beautiful house. Our new home away from home! This time coming back in the summer we got to enjoy time by the pool with breathtaking views, monopoly in the living room, TV nights upstairs and dining under the stars outside. Your home is special to us and we always want to come back and never want to leave! It feels as if time stands still and our holidays feel so long and luxurious every time we are here.

Nous serions ravis de revenir x Nous avons passé une semaine incroyable ici à la Maison La Pérouse. Oscar et Olive ont tous deux adoré explorer le jardin. Oscar a particulièrement aimé jouer à cache-cache dans les bois, faire des tours sur le trampoline et repérer les poissons dans l'étang. La piscine a été fantastique et nous avons adoré les nuits ensoleillées le soir dans le jardin. Merci Sue, Pat et Amber pour votre merveilleuse hospitalité et vos recommandations. First of all, the house was everything we hoped it would be. The facilities inside were excellent and the air conditioning a huge plus especially at night time. The back garden area is superb and met all needs whether you wanted sun, shade, pool, cooking, dining. The area itself has so many varying attractions to meet all needs and ages. Some highlights for us were kayaking in Saint Guilhem de Desert, canyoning in the Gorges d'Heric and this was brilliant. Lazy beach days in Sète and Marseillan, visiting the vineyards at Seignourie de Peyrat (just out the Roujan road) and chill out days by the pool. Pèzenas is a wonderful town and the market on Saturday is a must and favourite restaurants were La Ripalle and Chez Paul. Excellent holiday and the house and its location facilitated this. Thanks.
Je tenais à vous signaler que nous avions été ravis de notre séjour du 5 au 12 août chez cet exploitant vigneron très cordial et motivé. La maison est belle, le site très calme, les balades nombreuses, la piscine agréable.
Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux ! Le domaine est très spacieux et nous avons reçu un accueil chaleureux et amical. Le gîte était bien équipé avec tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Le WiFi a été perturbé avant et pendant notre séjour, mais le propriétaire avait déjà organisé une solution alternative, ce que nous avons beaucoup apprécié. La piscine était fantastique, avec beaucoup d’accessoires à disposition, et nous avons également profité de la salle de sport. Le propriétaire nous a gentiment offert des œufs frais et de délicieuses courgettes charnues – un vrai régal ! Leur jeune chien bouvier bernois est absolument adorable, même s’il est encore en apprentissage et dans cette phase espiègle d’adolescence. Dans l’ensemble, un séjour charmant, et nous serions ravis de revenir un jour.
We enjoyed every aspect of our stay here. The villa is light, airy and spacious. It was immaculately clean, comfortable, everything worked and there are beautiful views from the upstairs terrace. The garden is very attractive. We loved having four bathrooms. The booking process was easy and efficient. We were confident that if there had been a problem, Ian, the very pleasant property manager who lives nearby, would have quickly sorted it out. The newly installed Wi-Fi was very dependable. With the restaurants in the village and the beach not too far away we didn't need to travel very far from the house - besides, the garden and pool were too good to leave for long! There are also some lovely walks in the hills behind the villa. The heated pool was the icing on the cake as we could swim on the couple of cooler days too. Even my 85 year old mum went in. We would have no hesitation in recommending this villa and we would love to return.
As our week draws to a close I wanted to drop you a quick note to thank you both for another fabulous week staying in your lovely house. As with last year, we have thoroughly enjoyed our time, both chilling around the pool and house as well as exploring the local area - so many treats to be found.
Une maison où l'on se sent comme chez soi ! Entièrement meublée avec goût, dans un cadre magnifique. Nous avons visité de nombreux endroits et je recommande : les grottes de Limousis, la cité de Carcassonne et le pont suspendu de Mazamet. Le marché hebdomadaire d'Olonzac est magnifique ! Le soir, profitez de la magnifique terrasse pour admirer la vue sur les Pyrénées, les sommets enneigés et les enfants dans la piscine. Nous recommandons fortement, nous y reviendrons sans hésiter ! Nous sommes jaloux de votre maison !

We have just spent 2 very enjoyable weeks at Villa Montplaisir. The villa is equipped to a very high standard and Thierry was informative and helpful throughout our stay. The apricot tree kept us well supplied with fresh fruit each morning... delicious. The town centre is only a 10 minute walk and offers a variety of bars and restaurants to suit most tastes. There is a market 3 times a week which has the usual buzz and good choice of fresh food stalls. We would recommend the villa as a very good base to visit both the coast and hinterland.
Week-end entre amies. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. La maison de David et Kirstie est magnifique. L’environnement est très calme et reposant. La maison est très grande, les chambres sont spacieuses, la literie confortable. Chaque chambre est équipée d’une salle de bain. David et Kirstie sont des hôtes très à l’écoute et disponibles. Je recommande.
Une excellente semaine en famille avec des petits (2, 5, 9 ans) et des grands qui ont bien profité de la piscine, des jeux, ping pong, volley... du barbecue et des nombreuses possibilités qu’offre la maison pour déjeuner, dîner, se reposer. Les villages autour organisent des marches en soirée où l’on peut rencontrer des producteurs et goûter aux spécialités locales (foie gras, magrets, vins...) De nombreux châteaux à visiter, et ballade en canoë sur la Dordogne. Un bon séjour dans une belle région.
Excellent. Nous avons passé un trés bon séjour. La villa est trés bien équipée, vaisselle, ustensile tout est présent. Une vue panoramique exceptionnelle sur les vignes depuis la maison et la piscine. Accueil chaleureux à notre arrivée et repos garanties au milieu des vignes.
Nous avons passé de fantastiques vacances en famille, tout le monde a adoré la piscine / le court de tennis, les barbecues et les ballades dans les villages locaux. Nous sommes venus l'année dernière et nous réserverons certainement à nouveau.
We had a lovely holiday here ! The place was beautifully quiet and well-equipped. Pau is definitely worth a visit with wonderful restaurants. We had a great stay and are heading home fully recharged.
Nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances à La Haute Bastié et nous la recommandons vivement.
Nous avions besoin d'une pause pour décompresser et nous détendre. Nous sommes tombés sur La Charmante Distillerie grâce à une recommandation et elle a dépassé toutes nos attentes. Les enfants étaient loin de leurs appareils électroniques et ont joué à la pétanque, au babyfoot, au badminton et même à des châteaux de sable. Ils se sont ensuite rafraîchis dans la piscine, avec de nombreux jeux pour les divertir. Le plus mémorable, c'est l'accueil ! Mark et Gary sont des hôtes exceptionnels. L'accueil dans leur magnifique maison de vacances était d'une grande authenticité, tout comme leur hospitalité – à la hauteur de nos attentes. Nous y retournerons certainement et avons hâte d'observer les étoiles avec le télescope de la maison dans le ciel nocturne limpide.
Wonderful time in a wonderful house. So peaceful here. The house had everything we could possibly want and more besides (including a visiting woodpecker). Laparade night market was a highlight. The restaurant there is pretty fabulous too. We spent loong days by the pool and long evenings on the terrace. Frédérique and Hélène at the shop provided all we needed including homemade lasagne. And Olivia couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you, Mark and Janet.
Beautiful! We do feel thoroughly spoilt and have had a wonderful time. The playroom alone is better than our own and the pool is perfect. Very friendly, helpful and efficient service.
Merveilleux séjour dans une belle maison. La maison était très confortable et la piscine était super. Nous avons passé du temps dans les villes/villages voisins. Pézenas, Vias, Béziers et le Cap d'Agde. Le marché du dimanche matin à Besson est incontournable. La région est idéale pour faire du vélo avec tous les villages voisins facilement accessibles. Très tristes de partir. Merci beaucoup.

A Perfect Family Retreat – Exceeded Our Expectations! We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful villa and it truly exceeded our expectations. The photos on the website don’t fully capture the charm and spaciousness of this property. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. La Ferme Éclaircie is brilliantly laid out, offering plenty of open space, which was perfect for our family of five. The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped, making meal preparation a breeze. Each room was spotless, tidy and provided ample storage space for all our holiday belongings. The games room was a fantastic bonus, keeping our children entertained during the occasional rainy day. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible pool. Our three boys absolutely loved it and spent hours splashing around. The gentle slope of the pool was especially helpful for our youngest, who learned to swim during this holiday - an unforgettable milestone for our family. We also enjoyed the outdoor seating area, which was ideal for both daytime relaxation and evening games as we watched the sun set. The peaceful surroundings and stunning views added to the tranquility of our stay. La Ferme Éclaircie location is perfect for exploring the local area, which offers plenty of activities to keep a family like ours busy. Whether you’re looking for adventure or relaxation, this villa is a perfect choice. Overall, our stay was wonderful and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended!
We had a wonderful 2 weeks staying at Villa Pey de la Salle celebrating our joint 50th birthdays with friends from around the world. The house is only three years old, beautifully designed and appointed and incredibly spacious and accommodating for big groups (we had 10 people). We were also delighted with the location, which was quiet and private being several kilometres outside the village of Fayence, but with access to Nice, Cannes and St Tropez less than an hour away. The owner Vincent and property manager Isa were very friendly and helpful and the Pure France administration was fast and efficient. We will certainly be recommending this service and property to our friends and look forward to visiting again in the future.
