Great holiday. We had a wonderful holiday in Mouans Sartoux. The villa was exactly as described and well equipped. We loved the heated pool and watched many a glorious sunset from the terrace. The owner, was extremely approachable and helpful all the way and tiny niggles got sorted out very quickly with the help of Mireille, the lovely housekeeper. We will definitely come back.
We enjoyed the house, pool and garden. We took a private boar charter on the canal. We visited restaurants and enjoyed using the 'running track' around the garden.
Nous sommes restés toute la famille 6 adultes et 2 enfants pendant 4 jours. La maison a tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour profiter de quelques jours dans le sud de la France. Les propriétaires ont toujours été très amicaux et prêts à nous aider avec tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Merci.
Nous sommes venus à la Maison Baleyssagues tant de fois et encore une fois, ce fut un moment merveilleux. Il y a tellement de choses pour s'y divertir et rassembler la famille. Je ne veux pas partir mais je dois rentrer à la maison.
Maison magnifique, très bien située qui permet promenade, pause café et joie de vivre. Nous recommandons fortement.
Nous sommes de retour à la maison après deux très bonnes semaines. Il a fait beau et chaud la première semaine (l'idéal pour la piscine). Nous avons bu du très bon vin et avons mangé dans de très bons restaurants. (Franck Putelat à Carcassonne, Octopus à Béziers, Cot Mas, Lauzun à Gignac, Presbytère à Vailhan etc). Nous sommes allés aux marchés et avons cuisiné avec d'excellents produits frais. Nous avons découvert une boulangerie au feu de bois à Canet et visité de nombreux endroits magnifiques. Avec cette belle maison - on ne peut que passer des vacances parfaites. Nous avons rencontré Olivier et Raphaël - sympathiques et drôles et nous avons bu une bière ensemble. Nous avons hâte d'y retourner l'année prochaine.
Both (the house and grounds) are absolutely beautiful and fantastic for parents and children alike. Despite a lot of activities in and around the area, we chose to stay 'in' more than we had expected because of how good the house and grounds were. A stunning location which surpassed our expectations. Both this and the hosts made this into a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. THE BEST FAMILY HOLIDAY WE'VE HAD - Thank you for everything! X
Prior to arriving, dealing with Pete was easy and this continued with both him and Kate throughout our stay. We’d been in Avignon for week before where it was very hot, this continued in Curzon but the house was lovely and cool throughout. We all had no trouble sleeping which meant we weren’t able to take advantage of the pool for the first morning as we all slept in. When we did get out there, it was wonderful. As a family of 4 we were able to relax and have fun round the pool all day every day if we wanted, including cooking lunch and dinner on the gas BBQ in the outside kitchen which we made full use of. Facilities in the house were great and we relaxed quickly, taking advantage of the welcome package of goodies. We explored the surrounding villages and towns which were in easy reach and a 10 minute drive for bread each morning or a full shop meant we could simply pop out and get something for dinner/breakfast. They really looked after us and each morning we woke to a clean pool and surroundings, including towels waiting for us. We felt truly spoilt during our stay and could have easily booked 3 weeks or more and I imagine Pete and Kate will be managing full summers for a while to come. Thank you Pete and Kate for a memorable stay!
Un excellent séjour. Une demeure magnifique, pleine d'histoire et d'une beauté impressionnante. Nous étions ravis d'y séjourner. Les conseils donnés par Mme de Maleville ont été si précieux pour nous, surtout pour les tables à fréquenter dans le coin. Nous y reviendrons, certainement.

Séjour extra dans un cadre idyllique! Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour d'une semaine en famille. Les hôtes sont charmants et très disponibles. La maison est très agréable à vivre et la literie excellente! La piscine est superbe, le pool house également... en clair, une semaine parfaite!

This is a spacious, stylish house perfect for families, friends and couples in the heart of pretty Vezenobres located within an easy hour of mountains, rivers, gorgeous markets, Roman towns with their summer festivals and even the Mediterranean. The house itself is so lovely both in and out - you will no doubt be back again and again!
Nous avons passé une semaine fantastique à la Villa Bellara en septembre, en famille (trois couples). Je partage tous les commentaires positifs concernant cette propriété : la villa est incroyablement spacieuse, l'emplacement est calme, mais à quelques pas d'un bon supermarché, la gare est idéalement située, ce qui facilite grandement les déplacements vers Nice et Monaco sans voiture. La montée jusqu'au Haut de Cagnes était raide, mais cela en valait vraiment la peine ! La cuisine est extrêmement bien équipée pour cuisiner agréablement et profiter des repas sur la terrasse. La villa est impeccablement entretenue et nous avons adoré la piscine chauffée. Jean-Luc est un hôte formidable : très accueillant et toujours prêt à répondre à toutes vos questions.
We have had a wonderful week in your fantastic home. It has been so peaceful and tranquil here by the pool. Seeing the amphitheatre at Nîmes and canoeing under the Pont Du Gard were the highlights.
Nous avons passé la meilleure semaine ici dans cette belle maison, un endroit parfait, la maison avait tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Nous n'avions pas de voiture mais tout était accessible à pied. Nous avons passé chaque soirée à boire un verre au « Pub » en centre-ville, offrant de très bons cocktails. Le restaurant Chez le Gaulois a servi le meilleur plateau de fromages et de charcuteries, je ne pourrais pas les recommander davantage. NOUS ADORONS CET ENDROIT et nous reviendrons certainement l'année prochaine. Merci Jackie et Geoff pour ce beau séjour.
Fabulous time - lovely area. Enjoyed the markets, some great restaurants, playing water volleyball and drinking and buying lots of wine!
We’ve just come back from a wonderful stay at Manoir Coutenson. The spacious and well maintained accommodation met the needs of our party of 15 perfectly, ranging from ages 1 to 85. The accommodation was even nicer than shown in the photos, as the sitting room had been refurbished. We particularly loved the on site activities (table tennis, pétanque, pool etc) and the sitting area by the pool! There were many thoughtful touches, including toys for younger children, board games and a well stocked kitchen. The site managers were on hand to help with any queries and advise on places to visit. The Manoir is well located close to Casteljaloux for supermarket, shops, market etc and there is lots to do in the surrounding area. We’d certainly love to stay here again!
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Un joli cottage situé dans un beau jardin entouré par la campagne pittoresque. Nous recommandons chaleureusement le Mas Saint-Martial aux familles qui recherchent un endroit cosy avec une jolie piscine et de nombreux équipements pour distraire toute la famille.
We had a wonderful time at your beautiful domain. We explored the region extensively, but would love to come back again to enjoy more of the peace and quiet here on your property. Everything was fine and we certainly did not lack anything. It was very nice to spend our holiday here together. Thank you so much!
Well, we all made it and have had the best time. This year we have certainly made use of the pool - even Chris! We have had some splendid lunches out and have found yet more restaurants and generally had a very enjoyable and relaxing time. As ever, we thank you for your wonderful hospitality. We can’t wait to be back - Chris and I are coming back in October when we hope it won’t be quite so hot!
We recently returned from a week's holiday at Maison Palatini in Pézenas. We had a wonderful time.
Le Château de la Ronde est un magnifique endroit. L'accueil y est chaleureux et le service, trés haut de gamme, y est irréprochable. Sa situation en fait un excellent lieu de séjour, que ce soit pour s'y reposer ou découvrir la val de Loire.
Merci beaucoup pour cet agréable et relaxant séjour dans votre maison. Nous avons attendu quelques années à cause du covid et nos garçons (et nous-mêmes) ont vraiment apprécié notre séjour. Vous nous avez si bien accueillis et nous avons beaucoup aimé passer du temps dans votre jardin à observer les visiteurs réguliers comme les pics, les buses et les chouettes effraies, etc. Nous prévoyons déjà de revenir et promettons de visiter davantage la région. Merci pour votre aimable hospitalité et ce fut un plaisir de rencontrer votre famille en visite. Si nous pouvions emporter la piscine et le hamac chez nous, nous le ferions ! Merci encore.
A week at the Mas de Pitou was blissful. The house was comfortable and included everything you would need for a relaxing stay. The view of the Alpilles, bright sunshine throughout the house and the fragrance of lavender and rosemary from the garden completed the picture. I will most definitely return to enjoy more exploring of the regions bounty in farmer's markets, Médiéval villages and stunning views.
We had the most magical week at the enchanting Château Mabrouke. A beautiful house with outstanding facilities set in a most stunningly unspoilt expanse of French countryside. With some gloriously grand rooms in the château, immaculate gardens and seemingly endless out-buildings, Château Mabrouke still had a wonderfully homely feel to it. We enjoyed days spent splashing in the pool, long lunches and drinks with a view. And a couple of nights of being cooked for and hosted by the lovely Martin and Philippa were an absolute treat. Visits to the nearby pretty towns of Foix and Mirepoix were lovely and other places to recommend include the stunning Montsegur and some interesting prehistoric caves near the charming town of Mas d'Azil. All in all a most heavenly escape. We look forward to returning.

La Maison Cabanon, c'était comme à la maison ! Parfait pour des vacances en famille. Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir un temps superbe. Beaucoup de vélo, de natation et de nourriture dans un cadre vraiment magique. Nous reviendrons !
