Nous venons de terminer un voyage de deux semaines en famille. La maison était tout simplement géniale ! Excellentes installations, et la climatisation dans les chambres est un véritable économiseur de vie. La propriété est excentrique ! Et il y a tellement de petites terrasses et d'endroits à l'extérieur où nous avons trouvé que nous ne nous sommes jamais assis. L'emplacement est idéal pour des excursions d'une journée et nous avons savouré la baignade dans la piscine après une journée bien remplie. Nous étions un groupe de plusieurs générations et tout le monde a adoré ! Le quartier est génial et accessible à pied. Boulangerie locale, stand de fruits et légumes locaux ainsi que l'accès aux supermarchés. Merci pour votre séjour inoubliable !
Ces vacances ont été des plus reposantes et réparatrices après les épreuves du Covid, etc. Nous devons remercier Alan et Madeline pour leur grande gentillesse et pour avoir fait un effort supplémentaire lorsque nous ne trouvions pas le chemin du retour. Nous avons apprécié les restaurants locaux : essayez l'Aubord de la Source, Sainte-Livrade pour une gourmandise spéciale, Les Rives du Plantie. Nous sommes allés au nord jusqu'au marché de Cancon (le lundi matin). Il y a un village appelé Saint-Pastour sur le chemin où un jeune couple tient un très bon restaurant (déjeuner en semaine et certains soirs) appelé Le Relais Bastide. Merci encore Madeline et Alan. J'ai presque oublié de dire qu'il ne faut pas manquer les nymphéas et le déjeuner à Latour-Marliac. Monet a acheté ses nymphéas ici, après les avoir vus à la grande Exposition de Paris.
We are extremely delighted with this stay. Everything was perfect, we didn't miss anything. The estate is a charming place to visit, with very beautiful walks to take. We were able to benefit from their advice on activities and attractions nearby. The swimming pool is a plus. The house had all the equipment we could need, very comfortable bedding, functional kitchen… Thank you very much for your welcome!

Very pleasant and restful stay for an extended family. My extended family and I stayed at Château Velouse for two weeks in August. It was a delightful time. The hosts are exceptional. We were treated to a warm welcome after arriving later than usual, after a long and tiring journey. All we needed for supper and the following day's breakfast was provided free and with no fuss. That set the tone for the rest of the stay. The hosts couldn't have been more friendly and helpful throughout our time there. Château Velouse easily absorbs a large number of people. High ceilings and wide hallways give a great sense of space. The rooms are large and comfortable. The ensuites are of a high standard and the grounds are magnificent. We all had a magical time. Our sincere thanks to Claire and Phil and Alex for all you did to make this post wedding get together a wonderful success.
Le domaine est magique ! Nous avons passé une semaine ressourçante. Nos promenades matinales nous ont permis d'observer une formidable biodiversité. Un grand merci à Thomas pour sa disponibilité et sa gentillesse ainsi qu'à Julien et Frédéric. À très bientôt.
This is a spacious, stylish house perfect for families, friends and couples in the heart of pretty Vezenobres located within an easy hour of mountains, rivers, gorgeous markets, Roman towns with their summer festivals and even the Mediterranean. The house itself is so lovely both in and out - you will no doubt be back again and again!
Quick note to express our gratitude for the hire of your property. What a wonderful time somebody had restoring this place to what it is today. We had a superb family celebration for our ruby wedding and explored the Drome and Ardeche localities. Many thanks.
Nous venons de passer une semaine absolument incroyable à la Villa du Château, en famille : un groupe de treize personnes, composé de sept adultes et six enfants. Cette propriété exceptionnelle a dépassé toutes nos attentes ; nous n'aurions vraiment pas pu rêver mieux. Avant même notre arrivée, Claire s'est montrée d'une aide précieuse : elle a répondu à nos questions, nous a fourni des informations utiles et nous a mis en contact avec des prestataires locaux qui ont rendu notre séjour encore plus mémorable. Elle nous a réservé un accueil des plus chaleureux et est restée disponible tout au long de notre séjour pour répondre à nos moindres questions. La vue était époustouflante de tous côtés, et l'intérieur de la villa était tout aussi magnifique. Toutes les commodités étaient accessibles à pied, notamment plusieurs excellents cafés, bars et commerces de proximité. Nous avons passé des vacances en famille inoubliables dans un cadre somptueux. Les enfants ont adoré se prendre pour des princes et des princesses au pied du château illuminé. Je recommande vivement un séjour à la Villa du Château : la réalité est parfaitement conforme à la description, et vous ne serez pas déçus. Nous avons adoré notre séjour et nous y retournerons sans aucun doute.
We had an amazing stay here in Narbonne! The photos you see are beautiful but the house is even better in person. It was so comfortable, beautiful decor, thoughtful touches (like throw blankets, baskets for market, plenty of closet space with extra hangers, extensive kitchen equipment, more...), gorgeous lighting and cozy/high quality bedding (so important when travelling). We felt so at home and enjoyed our down time while in the house! The sunroom was our sanctuary during our stay... our reading room while there... the natural light is so perfect with the back sliding window open and the breeze coming in! Heaven!
Have had a wonderful holiday, very restful and really enjoyed the pool especially on a hot day. Enjoyed visiting Sète, Agde and Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert. Would love to return on day. Absolutely loved the pool and the garden. Would recommend Les Polmiers and Pézenas is a beautiful town!

Beautiful holiday destination, especially nice garden, optimal exposure. With young children there are many activities surrounding and great moments of fun by the pool. Everything needed for children. Quiet and peaceful setting with amazing views. Tastefully decorated and fully equipped. Highly recommended!

Beautifully renovated, well equipped house, ideal for family / friends gathering. Three quite separate sets of 2 double/ twin bedrooms with en-suites and seating areas, so plenty of privacy. Well equipped kitchen (loads of fridge space) and separate bar / fridge/ dishwasher area. Plenty of seating and dining space both inside and out on two terraces. Kids loved the pool and outside space, playing volley ball in the garden. We enjoyed the views and quiet surroundings. My parents enjoyed the local towns and villages; and the cakes! Daily cleaning included by lovely housekeeper/ gardener who live next door. We didn't know they were there except when we needed them. The area is beautiful if you have the energy to travel, Beaune and Dijon are worth a visit and the nearby Couches with a lovely château has a delicious Patisserie / Boulangerie. We took the train from Chagny to Beaune to visit the Hospice and enjoyed a wine tasting. There are lots of vineyards to visit and taste at, we wished we'd organised some tours before we arrived as the owners can advise on this. You will not be disappointed booking this house, we have stayed in many houses in France over the last 30 years and this is undoubtedly the loveliest. We hope to return.
We would just like to say a massive thank you for the week we have just spent at Pech d'aze. It truly is a fantastic home. We could have stayed another week so easily! It was so peaceful and every night we would watch the sunset from the field below with a bottle of wine and listen to the frogs singing from the pond. Weather was lovely and both of us made good use of the pool. We had a BBQ every night and left charcoal for the next lucky guests
Ces vacances en famille ont été exceptionnelles dans votre magnifique maison, où vous avez été aux petits soins : un accueil chaleureux, des fromages, des vins et plusieurs livraisons de viennoiseries et de melons durant la semaine. La villa est vraiment spectaculaire, avec de très bons équipements, une piscine où nous avons passé de nombreux moments agréables, un barbecue et de nombreux coins salon. Les chambres sont toutes charmantes. Nous avons adoré l’emplacement et avons fait de nombreuses balades à vélo dans les villages environnants, notamment à Capestang pour le marché ; c’était un plaisir de rencontrer les habitants, et certains d’entre nous ont même fait du vélo jusqu’à Béziers. Un moment fort de ma visite a été la promenade jusqu'aux Gorges d'Héric pour une petite promenade et une baignade dans l'une des piscines naturelles, puis un verre dans la charmante ville de Roquebrun. Que de rires, de bonheur et de précieux souvenirs ! J'adorerais y retourner pour mes 70 ans, dans 5 ans ! Un grand merci pour ce séjour incroyable, grandement facilité par le soleil quotidien.

We had a wonderful stay, the house is very large, designed perfectly, very comfortable and recommended for anyone who loves peace and quiet in a perfect setting. The local town Monsegur is a very short car ride away, or a 20 minute walk. A few lovely shops and restaurants welcome you here. If you love nature there are some excellent walks amongst the grapevines and natural walkways. Evening dining at the house is wonderful as there is a large outdoor space by the private pool. The pool is 10 mtrs and recently installed. Aircon to cool the bedrooms before bedtime makes for a comfortable nights sleep. We have holidayed in this area of France almost 20 times but this accommodation is the best that we have had. All together a perfect, luxurious place to stay, attention to detail here is excellent, Christophe is the perfect host.

Une merveilleuse semaine ! La Maison Estephe était absolument exceptionnelle, tout ce que nous aurions pu souhaiter. Charmant petit village, pain frais et croissants de la petite boulangerie tous les matins, le temps était magnifique, beaucoup d'explorations, avons dégusté du vin et découvert le magnifique port de Mèze. Une semaine exceptionnelle. Nous devrons regarder les dates disponibles pour l'année prochaine lorsque je connaîtrai les dates de mes prochaines vacances.
We had the most wonderful ‘family and friends ‘gathering at La Petite Maison Générille. The hosts were most wonderful and nothing was too much trouble . They told us of markets, restaurants, gardens and vineyards… all were wonderful. The houses are spacious and well equipped the grounds and gardens perfect and the salt water pool... bliss. We had children and tiny grandchildren with us and it was the perfect base to explore the wonderful villages such as Sarlat with its night market and Domme . We went canoeing and swam in the river, visited nearby châteaux and ended our week at a wonderful Bricante taking a few French antiques home… Altogether a fabulous week I only wish we had stayed longer ! We look forward to returning to this very special place with wonderful hosts who were so kind and helpful.
Pour commencer, le lieu est tout simplement magique. Il permet de toucher du doigt ce qu'est la vie de château. Et surtout la qualité de l'accueil des hôtes est tout simplement exceptionnelle. L'espace a disposition est très spacieux, la qualité des infrastructures est parfaite et lorsque tout cela est emballé dans un papier de soie de gentillesse et de serviabilité, on touche au sublime.
Back again! We loved our stay here so much we decided to come back and it did not disappoint. The kids loved the pool and we enjoyed both local walks (marked maps provided at the house). Impressive thunder storms and lovely blue skies. Would recommend Castres, Revel and Hautpoul for local trips (all within 30 to 40 minutes drive).
