Wow… what an amazing villa, it's just so beautiful. We had an amazing family holiday… Debbie and Brent also made our experience so memorable and really have provided a fantastic service.
Fabulous time - lovely area. Enjoyed the markets, some great restaurants, playing water volleyball and drinking and buying lots of wine!

Une semaine merveilleuse à la Maison Baleyssagues. La maison est extrêmement bien aménagée et équipée. Nous avons apprécié cuisiner et avons essayé tous les espaces repas à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur. Certains membres de notre groupe ont même nagé dans la piscine, même si la saison était terminée. Nous avons également apprécié les promenades dans la campagne environnante et trois superbes excursions d'une journée. Nous recommandons vivement La Table de Catusseau - imaginative et exquise. Merci à Frédéric pour de son excellent service.
Grande maison en particulier la piscine, le jardin et les couchers de soleil incroyables. Quartier calme, pour ceux qui recherchent vraiment un endroit pour se déconnecter. Nous avons adoré !
Nous avons vraiment apprécié nos vacances à Cherry Farmhouse. L'espace barbecue extérieur et la piscine ont été les plus de ces vacances avec une vue fantastique sur la campagne environnante, recouverte de tournesols courbés. La région était tellement paisible. Nos deux filles ont adoré la piscine qui était tout simplement parfaite pour deux jeunes nageuses débutantes. La propriété était bien équipée et les hôtes, Stéphane et Cathy étaient adorables et très attentionnés. Merci pour les belles tomates !! Des vacances parfaites, beaucoup de choses à voir et à faire, que nous espérons revoir et refaire bientôt !
WOW! What a holiday! The Loft is absolutely beautiful and we’ve all had the most wonderful time. In fact, the Loft, pool and gardens are so incredible we’ve spent most days swimming, reading and lounging by the pool! Playing boules has been fun and meeting you both, and Mack and Mabel too. We’d love to come back and revisit the Loft - it’s been fantastic! A big ‘Thank You’!
What an amazing place and fantastic hosts, Hugh and Ian have given our family the perfect holiday. Thank you so much. The kids said the pool is amazing and really loved the salt water which didn't make there eyes sting like normal chlorinated pools. Oscar your adorable dog was also a big plus for Lara!
Lovely authentic French house set in beautiful grounds and perfectly located to access local amenities. Very well equipped, making it a home from home.
It's hard to know where to start with this wonderful home, the inside and outside are so special its impossible to choose a 'best bit'! I didn't know this part of France at all and whilst it was a wonderful discovery, the château itself stands head and shoulders above its surroundings (literally) with his jaw dropping views. 360 degrees of rolling hills, almost no building in sight and just the sheep and their charming bells the only signs of neighbours. The pictures simply can't do it justice. The house itself is extremely luxurious in its proportions and furnishings. The main difference to other holiday homes is that it is so evidently a comfortable home. We had one rainy day on our trip and the excuse to be inside for the evening with the fire and comfortable sofa's was a great treat. The mixed accommodation is wonderful, with the farm house next to the château and the two charming cottages in the grounds. Very much one for a gang of friends or large family. The owners provide some brilliant suggestions on what to do when venturing further afield - should you want to! But there seem to be endless possibilities, in our brief 10 days we discovered so much and feel we could happily come back every year for 10 years and still be finding new spots. The castle at Foix is an absolute must for children and for adults, if you don't want to go parachuting after your market trip to beautiful Mirepoix the Michelin restaurant 8 minutes away in Camon is a must. But equally with the tennis court, heated pool, choice of terraces to eat on, chapel, lake and boat it would be entirely possible to spend a happy week going no where at all. Perhaps apart from a trip down the drive to Olivier and Marielle's informal shop. Heaven.
Thank you for being such kind, generous and welcoming hosts. We have had such a happy and relaxing week at Piglet and have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know you both and sharing your beautiful home and garden. We have visited many properties in France and this is one ofthe loveliest ! Vouvant is a delightful village with its interesting history and vibrant community.The guided walk of the village is recommended as well as a visit to the zoo - great for kids. Thank you for everything - cake and wine, but most of all for your interesting and entertaining company ! À bientôt.
Quelle semaine fabuleuse ! Nous recherchions un refuge douillet pour explorer la vallée du Lot et nous n'avons pas été déçus par Le Petit Pigeonnier du Lot. Le rez-de-chaussée ouvert était frais pendant la chaleur de midi et confortable le soir. Il y avait une grande salle à manger, un coin salon et une cuisine en contrebas avec une grande table. Nous avions tout le nécessaire. À l'étage, la chambre principale était spacieuse et traversante avec une grande salle de bain attenante. Les deux chambres à deux lits étaient confortables et personnalisées. Tout était impeccablement propre et en excellent état, tout en restant accueillant et personnalisé. L'espace extérieur était tout aussi haut de gamme : une terrasse pour dîner en plein air, un barbecue et une belle piscine, nichée dans un jardin arboré et arboré. C'était l'endroit idéal pour passer la journée. La piscine, à une température agréable de 29 °C, était entretenue par Debbie, notre hôte, nous n'avions donc rien d'autre à faire qu'en profiter ! Debbie était une hôte excellente et attentionnée. Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement et avec des boissons fraîches à notre arrivée. Elle s'est montrée serviable et gentille tout au long de notre séjour, organisant quelques réservations de restaurant et laissant des fruits et légumes de la propriété à notre porte. Debbie a été particulièrement adorable avec notre fille adolescente, qui adorait les chats de la maison. Les environs étaient magnifiques, avec beaucoup de choses à faire, et nous avons adoré chaque instant passé à les explorer, mais c'était toujours un plaisir de rentrer « à la maison » à Carcavi.
Une beau point de chute pour nos 2 semaines! L'espace extérieur couvert + la cuisine étaient super. Nous avons passé la majeure partie de notre séjour à observer la faune incroyable! Nous avons vu des cerfs, des lézards, des buses et même pu voir les oisillons nichant au-dessus de la porte des toilettes extérieures quitter le nid! Monflanquin était magnifique ! Cathy + Stéphane étaient adorables + nous avons adoré regarder la voiture 2 CV de Stéphane rouler! Merci.

Thank you again for opening your home to us this summer. We all really needed a vacation and the house was a superb way to relax and enjoy perfect weather. We all had a great time and fully enjoyed the house and the property. The overall layout of the house and inside the rooms is very thoughtful and was perfect for all of us. We had three families, 4 kids of different ages and a grandma. The different spaces allowed us to handle the different kid routines and moods in a way that gave everyone privacy. The kitchen is large and extremely well furnished. Makes it comfortable to cook for large groups. The pool is actually enormous. The way Patrick takes care of it seems to produce much better results than I have seen in other places: the water stayed clear all the way through. The pool house is an incredibly valuable area, especially because it is so well furnished, this is a serious luxury. The small supermarket in St-Antonin-du-Var is surprisingly good, if you are not a big cook you could totally live off this (they opened on Sunday am!). We also organised a Casino home delivery for the day before we arrived. We used P and Geraldine for 16 hours a week, to get the kitchen cleaned, make the beds, light housekeeping, remove rubbish, clean the BBQ and pool house areas and this made a huge positive difference.
Le havre de paix idéal pour notre famille C'était notre premier séjour en Charente et nous avons été ravis de La Charmante Distillerie. C'était l'idéal pour mes grands-parents, avec ses chambres au rez-de-chaussée et un accès facile de plain pied à une belle terrasse et à la piscine. Le gîte est situé en forêt et la vue est imprenable. L'accent mis sur le développement durable était appréciable, notamment les nombreux arbres fruitiers et les herbes aromatiques pour la cuisine. Mark a été d'une grande aide pour tous les détails et a été d'un grand secours avec ses recommandations et ses connaissances locales. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter et nous le recommandons vivement pour une escapade paisible.
Super séjour à Margon, Hélène est très réactive et disponible. Nous avions 2 bébés et le matériel (chaises hautes et lits parapluie) était à disposition. Je recommande vivement cet endroit pour se détendre et visiter la région. Merci encore à Hélène pour sa confiance.
We came to stay for a wedding nearby and were a group of 6 adults and our 18 month old twins. It was absolutely perfect for us! There’s so much for littles ones, loads of toys inside and a trampoline, swing set, huge garden and of course the pool outside! All very safe as well. Isabelle was excellent at answering all our questions and arranged for travel cots and high chairs for our little ones. She also helped us find local amenities etc. and provided a fantastic info pack with lots to do in the local area. We visited a lovely local lake with a beach, Saint-Émilion and a local vineyard/restaurant all around 15 minutes drive away. The bakery she recommended 5 minutes down the road was also delightful! Can't recommend this enough if you’re looking for a beautiful château in the countryside.
Nous séjournons dans des gîtes et des villas en France depuis de très nombreuses années et le Mas des Rivailles est l'une des meilleures adresses. Très propre, confortable avec tout en place pour passer de belles vacances reposantes. La piscine était super mais n'a pas été utilisée autant que nous l'aurions souhaité en raison du temps pendant les deux semaines que nous y avons passées. Le pack de bienvenue a été une surprise inattendue et très appréciée. Frédéric était serviable et informatif, tout comme nos sympathiques voisins (qui ne parlaient pas anglais), mais cela nous a donné l'occasion de pratiquer notre français limité. De jolis petits villages à visiter et de bons restaurants, Clément à Lauzun était un favori. Je recommande pleinement cette propriété.
This was a great find for our annual French holiday. Your lovely house was perfect for the whole family, it was hard to get the kids out of the pool at the end of the day. Monflanquin is a great town, a real discovery with lots of great restaurants.
Je tiens à vous remercier pour la belle semaine que nous avons passée au Château du Pic de Rigaud. Henrietta était charmante et extrêmement serviable, la demeure était belle sans être trop guindée. Les vues étaient incroyables aussi bien depuis la maison que de la piscine. Nous sommes partis revigorés.
May 2024 A lovely well presented place to stay with everything you need in a cozy, clean house. Pool was lovely and heated for us even in early May. Close to Carcassonne and loads of nice local walks. Peaceful village.

Wonderful! We just loved our week at this fabulous home. We are a Canadian family of 8. 5 adults and 3 kids ( ages 13, 10 and 9). After eight days in Paris, this was the perfect place to chill. The setting is fabulous. We had a spectacular view of Grasse and the surroundings and we enjoyed many glorious sunsets. The patio area really was the winner. Spacious with lots of room for everyone. The house was very well equipped and the owners were very responsive to any little concerns or questions we had. Great pool. Kind hosts. Highly recommended.
We had an excellent holiday at the villa, it was just perfect. The pool was perfect and the seating areas outside were ideal for eating and drinking and gazing at the stars. We will definitely recommend the villa to friends and family, it's a dream we want to share.
We had a beautiful fou-poster suite with claw footed bath in this attractive country château. We enjoyed a lazy week in glorious sunshine in August dipping in and out of the outdoor heated swimming pool. The château has extensive grounds in which to walk off dinner and is surrounded by peaceful countryside. Bourges was a great place to visit, both cathedral, palace and gardens were a must-see. We were with a large party of friends who took it in turns to cook and we ate outside on the terrace watching the sun go down.
Nous avons passé un séjour formidable. La Villa Lana était tout simplement parfaite, tant par son emplacement que par ses équipements.
A wonderful return visit to Villa Kali and this beautiful area of France. Weather has been great all week with plenty of sunshine, with the pool providing much needed relief. Enjoyed visits to Saint-Guilhem-le-Desert and Montpellier, as well as several trips to Pèzenas, particularly the ice cream shops! Enjoyed meals at Les Palmiers (quite expensive) and Chef Brasserie Chez Hansi (good value). Saturday market in Pèzenas worth a visit and Serignan Plage probably the best beach. The patisserie / boulangerie opposite Carrefour does great bread, croissants and gateaux. Look forward to a return visit in the future. Thanks for a great holiday! 5 / 5.
