We are a family of two adults and three teens and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Le Somail! The house was very well equipped with everything we needed and there was plenty of space inside and out. The pool area is very sheltered and private - having the pool to cool us down on the hottest of days was certainly appreciated! We enjoyed being so close to the canal and seeing the boats sailing past, it’s a beautiful location. There is a good selection of places to eat and drink within a few minutes walk of the house, yet the house was very peaceful and we were never disturbed by any noise from the restaurant next door. There were plenty of activities within an easy driving distance to keep us all amused for the duration of our stay including lakes, beaches and shopping. We hope we can return again, thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Je voulais juste dire merci. Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment au Mas de Pitou. C'est de loin le meilleur endroit où nous ayons séjourné en France depuis 10 ans! La localisation est idéale, nous avons fait de jolies balades depuis la maison. Et la touche spéciale - la corbeille de fruits et de légumes - était magnifique! Nous reviendrons et le recommanderons certainement à nos amis. Carole a été super: aimable, serviable et d'une grande aide.
This is a spacious, stylish house perfect for families, friends and couples in the heart of pretty Vezenobres located within an easy hour of mountains, rivers, gorgeous markets, Roman towns with their summer festivals and even the Mediterranean. The house itself is so lovely both in and out - you will no doubt be back again and again!
We stayed at Villa La Baronne for a week in early October. We were blessed with good weather and the surrounding area is beautiful and historically very interesting. As for the property itself, Villa La Baronne offers every possible amenity a guest might wish for. The bedrooms are beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The living areas are spacious and inviting. Outside the garden is lovely and has ample space to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The swimming pool is of a great size and in cooler temperatures it is heated. We had a lovely time and the hosts were exceptional. Can't recommend this villa enough. Book it while you can!
We’ve just come back from a wonderful stay at Manoir Coutenson. The spacious and well maintained accommodation met the needs of our party of 15 perfectly, ranging from ages 1 to 85. The accommodation was even nicer than shown in the photos, as the sitting room had been refurbished. We particularly loved the on site activities (table tennis, pétanque, pool etc) and the sitting area by the pool! There were many thoughtful touches, including toys for younger children, board games and a well stocked kitchen. The site managers were on hand to help with any queries and advise on places to visit. The Manoir is well located close to Casteljaloux for supermarket, shops, market etc and there is lots to do in the surrounding area. We’d certainly love to stay here again!
La Maison Cabanon, c'était comme à la maison ! Parfait pour des vacances en famille. Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir un temps superbe. Beaucoup de vélo, de natation et de nourriture dans un cadre vraiment magique. Nous reviendrons !
Magnifique maison au milieu des champs, décorée avec goût. Cuisine extérieure toute équipée. Rien ne manque. Nous avons apprécié la piscine et les transats ainsi que les environs (cité médiévale de Chauvigny, Futuroscope).
What a fabulous find in the middle of sunflower fields ! Lovely hot weather, really appreciated the beautiful pool. The house is so well equipped and welcoming that it provided for a relaxing holiday. It was the perfect balance of great food, excellent company, a little sightseeing and a lot of relaxing by the pool, playing pool and generally chilling in style. Please can we come back...

Maison Des Vignobles is a property full of character features and a really high level of facilities with thoughtful finishing touches. Very spacious downstairs is complemented by a superb master bedroom with large en suite looking out over the neighbouring vineyard. Top quality plumbing next to period features is always good! Debbie was the perfect neighbour/owner, being super helpful and generous with a welcome pack and her local knowledge. The laundry room with local products for sale (including wine) was an unexpected bonus. The courtyard, pool and gardens are all lovely, though one tiny shame is that they are on the other side of the house from the big view across the vineyard - but many of the windows have that view so no reason to miss the sunsets and stars.
A more tranquil spot in France you will not find. The house has 360-degree views across stunning French countryside that rolls and undulates towards a backdrop of the Pyrenees. It feels like you're a million miles from the stresses and strains of modern life, another world and yet within 20 minutes drive you can be in a huge supermarket that will cater for all your needs. The house itself is incredibly comfortable, with all mod cons. It sleeps 14 people in great comfort, including in two well-appointed cottages in the grounds. And yet it retains its cosy feel. Some days we lazed by the pool and ate our meals on one of the terraces, other days – when it was cooler - we lit the fire and settled in. It's genuinely as comfy inside as it is outside, which is not always the case in French holiday lets. Our young children were in heaven. When not swimming or playing tennis, they roamed the five acres of immaculately kept grounds, building camps, rowing on the small lake. There's snooker croquet and table tennis too, if it's wet. And then of course there is the party room. Set well away from the grown-up bedrooms, the party room has a bar, DJ–quality speaker system and a proper disco – glitter ball, lights and all. Incredible fun. You really won't want to leave the château and grounds at all – it's a self-contained little hill-top world - but if you do have itchy feet then there are lots of walks nearby, or you can visit one of the many beautiful French towns nearby (Mirepoix market is a must). I cannot wait to return.
Je voulais juste dire à quel point nous avons passé un bon moment lors de notre récente visite à la Maison Des Communes, Philippe et Federica étaient des hôtes merveilleux qui nous ont très bien accueillis. La maison dans un endroit tranquille était parfaite pour une escapade très relaxante loin de tout.
A perfect stay for a family Christmas. Plenty of room for 10 people. Beautiful bedrooms and bathroom. A very family-friendly living room, a superb and functional kitchen. Un grand merci à Thomas pour son accueil et son accompagnement tout au long de notre séjour. La villa est superbe et très bien aménagée: la cuisine est idéale pour un groupe. Les chambres sont décorées avec goût et offrent des prestations d'un bel hôtel. Les vacances sont passées trop vite !

Notre semaine à la Maison des Communes a été la manière la plus parfaite de célébrer 3 anniversaires très importants. Deux 60 ans et un 40 ans. Nous avons apprécié chaque instant et n'aurions pas pu souhaiter un meilleur endroit, ni un meilleur hôte pour rendre ce séjour aussi spécial que possible. En tant que groupe de six adultes (trois couples), c'était génial d'avoir chacun notre propre espace avec la villa, mais aussi de jolis espaces communs pour prendre nos repas et nous détendre ensemble. Tout dans la villa était idéal, de la piscine, des vélos et une chambre confortable au vaste terrain. La cerise sur le gâteau a été Philippe. Quel hôte gracieux apportant des pâtisseries fraîches, laissant des cadeaux de bienvenue et même organisant un beau repas dans un restaurant local. Merci beaucoup. Nous reviendrons.
We highly recommend Maison Four à Chaux, we had a great holiday in this amazing property which was clean, very comfortable and very spacious inside and out. Lovely large heated pool and an excellent games barn which included skittles alley and table tennis. We were greeted by Yvonne who was great and very knowledgeable of the local area and was easily contactable (as were the owners) if there was any issues (which there weren't). We would definitely recommend Maison Four à Chaux.
Nous avons passé une semaine fabuleuse dans ce petit bijou de villa. C'est tellement douillet et paisible ici. C'est agréable d'y revenir en fin de journée. Un lieu parfait pour un 80ème anniversaire!
The pool has been fantastic and it's such a beautiful garden and surrounding.
Remarkable location and situation. Nothing short of the 'wow' factor inside and out. We spent most of the time at the house or in the Médiéval village- too beautiful to venture far! The house and grounds are stunning, great architectural design. Extremeley well equipped. Lots of space for just the 2 of us but planning on coming back again and share with friends. Thanks, fab!

Well, when Beverley told me she wanted to bring our children and grandchildren for a 'once in a lifetime' holiday, to celebrate our forthcoming 50th wedding anniversary in October, I must be honest I was negative and full of foreboding! But... Domaine de Nérige! Wow, what a place Bev found while I was moping around saying this won’t work. Not only was the location, 'in the middle of nowhere' absolutely perfect but the house was just beautiful with every facility we could possibly have wanted not to mention Sandie and David constantly going the extra mile if we needed advice. Thank you both for being the perfect hosts. We have not one negative word to say about this beautiful property - the rooms were comfortable, cooled where necessary with AC, the plethora of bathrooms is nothing short of extraordinary. Showers perfect and the supply of local wine and your own olive oil is truly the nicest touch. The games room, the space for kids to play on the terrace culminating in the fantastic pool was everything kids and the whole family would want. We didn’t need to leave here and, in fact, we probably did spend more time here that we would have in a 'run of the mill' villa. So finally, thank you to you both. We would love to see you both again but it would not be with such a heavy group of 'hangers on' although Bev’s decision for us to all be together this year was an inspirational one which worked perfectly. Everyone LOVED it.
It is difficult to put into words how special our stay has been. Everything about the Loft is first class and we are going to miss it dearly. On top of that, all your little touches have been incredibly helpful and generous. Above all though, you have been the most warm, considerate and welcoming hosts - you really could not have done anything else to help us. Having travelled extensively we definitely rate you as the best! Of course, we have loved exploring the area, including a wonderful trip to the Pyrenees, and we are very keen to get to know it better. Finally, the last word goes to Mack and Mabel - they are adorable and we have enjoyed sneaking down for cuddles. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday.
Amazing space of the house led to us having the best family holiday ever for 9 adults and three young children. The outdoor areas are equally fantastic, the pool, Japanese garden with pizza oven was greatly appreciated and we would love to come back and see our host Katie again.

Quelle semaine incroyable nous avons passée dans votre villa ! Nous sommes venus pour fêter le 60ᵉ anniversaire de Shona et c’était l’endroit absolument parfait. Nous avons passé une semaine formidable ici : bronzer au bord de la piscine, lire dans les fauteuils en osier, cuisiner comme des chefs dans la cuisine, faire des barbecues dans la cuisine extérieure et boire du vin un peu partout !! La villa est très bien équipée avec tout le nécessaire en cuisine, beaucoup d’espace dans le réfrigérateur, un excellent Wi-Fi partout, une piscine fabuleuse et des chambres spacieuses. Philippe a été un hôte merveilleux – serviable et rapide à répondre à toutes nos questions. Nous avons adoré nos deux livraisons de petit-déjeuner, en particulier les pains personnalisés et le gâteau au gingembre ! Merci d’avoir organisé un délicieux dîner à La Tour à Montady et une belle dégustation de vin à Saint-Chinian. Les mises à jour météo étaient également très utiles. Notre chienne Ivy a elle aussi passé une belle semaine ici, avec beaucoup d’espace pour courir. Nous pensons que les chats mentionnés dans les précédents commentaires ont sagement préféré garder leurs distances pendant son séjour !! Merci encore pour tout et nous pensons déjà à revenir !
