Nous attendions beaucoup de ces vacances et nous n'avons pas été déçus. La propriété est un véritable joyau historique dans une région chargée d'histoire. Dès notre arrivée, accueillis par un couple avec qui vous sembliez être amis depuis toujours, le stress du quotidien s'est envolé. Nous nous sommes immédiatement sentis comme chez nous et avons rapidement planifié notre prochain séjour. De l'extérieur, le gîte est digne d'une carte postale et aucun détail n'a été négligé. L'intérieur conserve son charme historique, tout en offrant toutes les commodités nécessaires pour vous éviter de vivre le style de vie médiéval de nombreux hébergements ruraux en France. Les chambres sont joliment décorées avec goût et disposent de grandes salles de bain et douches (à l'étage et au rez-de-chaussée). La piscine privée est superbe et nous en étions les seuls occupants. Ses eaux claires, sous les pins et sous un ciel bleu, étaient idylliques. Difficile de détacher ma femme du bord de la piscine. Le gîte s'intègre parfaitement dans une région d'une beauté exceptionnelle, où la plupart des sites que nous souhaitions visiter se trouvent à seulement quelques minutes. Les propriétaires étaient très accueillants et nous ont donné de bons conseils sur les lieux à visiter, sans être envahissants, ce qui nous a permis de profiter d'une intimité totale. Nous avons apprécié chaque instant de notre séjour et nous le recommandons chaudement. Si vous souhaitez visiter la région, découvrir les 1 000 châteaux et les innombrables sites préhistoriques, ou simplement vous détendre au bord de la piscine, cet endroit est fait pour vous. Week-end fabuleux. Cet endroit est tout simplement merveilleux ! Bonne gastronomie, compagnie et vin... Que demander de plus à un Écossais ?
Ce n'était pas notre première visite à La Barde et encore une fois nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances en famille. La maison possède beaucoup de caractère tout en étant à la fois spacieuse et confortable. La cuisine est bien équipée et les coins salons à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur peuvent accueillir confortablement 10 personnes. Le jardin est magnifique et regorge de plantes et d'arbustes variés et colorés tandis que la piscine est grande et nettoyée régulièrement par le propriétaire. Encore une fois, nous avons profité de belles journées à Saint-Émilion, Brantôme et Cognac pour n'en citer que quelques-unes - et bien sûr d'agréables boissons en soirée à Verteillac. Merci - nous gardons de précieux souvenirs de ces vacances fantastiques !
We just wanted to say we had a wonderful time at the beautiful Richelieu home. Maybe the most beautiful and well appointed vacation rental we have ever had. The property manager, Dawn, was very helpful throughout our stay. We hope to come back again someday.

Nous nous sommes sentis très à l'aise ici dans cette maison avec ce beau jardin et la piscine. Calme, repos et détente. Que demander de plus ? Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l'attention et la disponibilité des gens à Bessan et Agde car nous avions besoin d'aide pour notre petite Leah. At La Picholine, we felt like God in France as usual. From the sunny terrace, with a glass of wine in hand, a cheese nearby, we enjoyed the vines in the valley below us in ‘deafening’ silence, watched the olives come out of the blossom and listened to the cheerful twittering of the birds. The flat of the ever friendly and helpful hosts Esther and Leonard is furnished with taste. A touch of nostalgia with the look of today. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom is comfortable. Everything not only looks new, but is new. From the first moment, we felt at home here. The nearby forests invite you to go for a nice walk. By the way, you can walk everywhere in the area. Tip: the route along the medieval village of La Roque-sur-Ceze with the waterfalls nearby. In the village of Tresques, near Domaine Cadignac, we imagined ourselves in the France of old. A medieval tower with an exhibition of contemporary art, a bakery and grocery shop, a water spring where the villagers tap their daily drinking water and a good winemaker. Where do you still find these villages? The residence is conveniently located for visiting larger cities. Half an hour’s drive and you are in Orange with memories of the Dutch royal house or in the papal city of Avignon, where you can browse in one of those real French bric-a-brac markets in a suburb every Saturday morning. Or you can walk around Nîmes Collesseum after an hour’s drive and have visited the impressive aqueduct built by Romans on the way there. The ancient city centre of Nîmes and of historic Avignon are also an eldorado for funshoppers. In short, the fully equipped and rustic L'Oliveraie was an ideal base for us to (re)discover French nature and culture. We will definitely come back here again!

Beautiful house - a real hidden gem in hills of Myan Sartu. Nice located, easy accessible, safe, comfortable and convenient especially for families with children. The owner is a very responsible and attentive host. Our slightest problems were solved instantly without ruining our plans for the day. Special mention should be made of the breathtaking view from the terrace and the great opportunities for children's leisure. The house is just overflowing with different toys and board games. Our family was so happy to spend our holidays here and will definitely come back again.

Utterly charming property with wonderful views across the landscape. The property has a tasteful appearance and matched by comfortable furnishings and very well appointed. The swimming pool terrace is a superb elevated location from which to appreciate the beautiful scenery of the surrounding villages. The rooms are all a good size as are the unspoilt and private gardens, which are well stocked and quite attractive. We had a superb vacation with friends and we would certainly return again in the future. The local villages are blessed with an array of shops selling good quality local produce, as well as a selection of restaurants, bars, café s etc and we would recommend some of the local vineyards for excellent Rose du Provence wines. Highly recommended.
We arrived at a large house that matched well and even more to what the photos showed. This is the first time we have found a vacation rental with so many dishes and kitchen supplies. As we were a large family with a few small children, this environment greatly favored the well-being of our stay. We sincerely thank our host for this generous sharing.
Mon mari et moi avons loué cette charmante maison pendant 2 semaines en août avec nos 2 jeunes filles et nous prévoyons déjà d'y retourner l'année prochaine ! Tout d'abord, la piscine est magnifique. C'est immense et impeccable et on pouvait à peine en sortir les filles ! La maison est grande et spacieuse et les salles de bain récemment décorées m'ont donné l'impression d'être à Soho House ! La maison est située dans une charmante petite ville au bord du Canal du Midi. Il y a un immense caviste à côté et plusieurs bars et restaurants accessibles à pied sur le quai. Nous avons fait des excursions d'une journée à la plage de Gruissan et de Leucate, qui étaient de superbes stations balnéaires méditerranéennes et à peine 40 minutes.
This is our third visit to Villa Kali and we enjoyed it very much as before. We managed to visit L'Hacienda near Bessan and had a most enjoyable evening. Diane is very helpful with any specific dietary requests and it was a bonus that she spoke English. Very happy to say its a 5 from us again. Many thanks.
After driving through France, it was lovely to arrive at your beautiful house. The weather has been perfect and we have chilled by the swimming pool. We have visited many of the surrounding villages and gazed at the breathtaking views from the top of the mountains. We really don't want to begin our journey back and will certainly recommend to others. Thank you.

Just to say we really enjoyed staying here. Lovely and relaxing just like being at home, especially with the ponies down the lane and swimming every day and visiting the Dordogne valley, beautiful.
I just wanted to send a quick note to say that your house is truly amazing. The pictures framed our expectations but being here has exceeded them. We love the indoor / outdoor design of the house and the thoughtful marrying of aesthetics with functionality. We are wanting for nothing! My husband thoroughly enjoyed working at the desk on the mezzanine yesterday (the Wi-Fi and cell coverage was flawless), we both enjoyed long runs on the country roads and green walking trail and my boys love bouncing between the pool and huge yard for ball sports. Oh and I love cooking in your kitchen! I'm a cook and a believer that the kitchen should be the center of the house as it is in yours. Your lovingly done house is a magical place and I didn't want to let another day go you know by without letting how grateful we are to be here.

Nous sommes de retour à la maison après de très belles vacances en famille à la Maison Semoussac. Le temps était mitigé (la pluie était bien sûr de mise), mais cela ne nous a pas empêchés de nous amuser. Les enfants ont adoré courir sur le chemin en laissant des petites carottes dans l'espoir d'apercevoir des lièvres et cueillir des mûres, qui étaient abondantes. Les jouets et les livres des enfants étaient merveilleux et (étonnamment pour leur âge) ils ont adoré jouer au Monopoly ! Marian nous a également préparé de délicieux repas. Merci beaucoup.
After many weeks of uncertainty, our decision to drive down to the Loft du Vigneron has been vindicated by a superb week. Thank you so much for all that you have done to make our week so memorable; especially prior to us leaving the UK. Your e-mails and your flexibility made us have a sense of connection before we had met you both. We have appreciated all the small touches that have made our stay easier - from the notes, welcome pack, advice, booking restaurants, etc. A good life is made up of special memories. A lovely place, house, garden and holiday. Nyons is a great town to have so nearby. Very relaxed and at peace on departure.
