First things first - Karen, Russell and the girls (Mack and Mabel) are wonderful hosts. Warm, friendly, thoughtful and yet discreet. They love what they're doing and it shows as nothing is too much trouble. Their enthusiasm for their ventures (current and future) is infectious. Secondly is the 'Loft du Vigneron' - a fabulous property offering everything - and more - that you could hope for. Karen and Russell's sense of style has been imprinted on it and their attention to detail has left nothing wanting. Every comfort has been considered from the fabulous welcoming pack to 'The White Company' range of toiletries. The terrace was our favourite place with the sun streaming through the roof and the warm breeze cooling us down. Rieux-Minervois is a typical French village and perfectly situated to explore the entire Minervois region from Carcassonne in the West, East to the Mediterranean, and all the lovely historical villages North and South. In conclusion, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful property with the perfect hosts - highly recommended without hesitation. Our very best wishes for every success in you new venture. Merci beaucoup pour ces superbes vacances passées dans votre charmant village de Camirout. Cette année, la météo a été parfaite et nous avons vraiment apprécié nos excursions à Bordeaux, Saint-Émilion, les grottes et le canoë sur la rivière du Auemant-du-Dropt. Nous aurons la chance de nous revoir l'année prochaine, dans seulement 50 semaines !
Nous avons passé un agréable moment paisible ici. La maison a été magnifiquement et soigneusement conçue. Les montagnes sont magnifiques au petit matin. Excursions fascinantes, bien que chaudes - Châteaux cathares, abbayes et restaurants - une belle région à explorer. Merci beaucoup.
Nous avons passé de fantastiques vacances en famille, tout le monde a adoré la piscine / le court de tennis, les barbecues et les ballades dans les villages locaux. Nous sommes venus l'année dernière et nous réserverons certainement à nouveau.
We've had a wonderful week, lounging by the pool, playing table tennis and pool. All great for teenagers. Vinsobres so lovely and only minutes away. Good trips out to Vaison-la-Romaine and Nyons. Thanks for a great week!
As I suspected when first shown around the Loft du Vigneron, we are going to find it hard to leave. The accommodation is truly first class, and you have been wonderful hosts. Thank you for all your suggestions of places to visit - we all have different highlights, but for Franklin it was the food market in Narbonne. All in all, a perfect holiday! We very much hope to see you (and Mack and Mabel) again.

Went to this beautiful holiday cottage for the second time. What a great experience again this time. We were warmly welcomed and our house felt like coming home again. Host and hostess Leo and Esther gave us great tips so that our holiday became a great experience again. The visit to Nîmes was impressively beautiful. I especially recommend visiting Avignon to everyone with its beautiful center and the cozy terraces around the market square. The swimming pool overlooking the vineyards is a pearl. The silence descends on you wonderfully in the evening. Truly unique. Thank you for another great holiday.
You have been incredible hosts, communication and recommendations were excellent. The house exceeded all of our expectations and we all had an incredible time making good use of all that was on offer! Stuart and I particularly enjoyed the table tennis which got quite competitive! We most definitely will be back again soon!

Wonderful villa, pool and location We loved everything about our stay. Danny was very welcoming on our arrival and charming when we left. The villa is superb with a beautiful view, lovely garden and is very well equipped. The pool is incredible and we swam every day. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was very welcome. Lots of interesting places to visit in the area. We highly recommend it.

It hardly seems like any time at all since we arrived a fortnight past. Time flies when you’re having fun, and we’ve certainly enjoyed ourselves immensely. We have so appreciated your wonderful hospitality once more - not least the delicious bacon sandwiches! And what splendid lunches we had with two new restaurants we must definitely visit next time as we are already booked in with you for the three of us next June. We especially enjoyed exploring your beautiful garden during our stay this time. A l’annee procaine!

Idyllic place. Very peaceful break had by all. Garlin is a lovely village. Great bakery for fresh bread and the essential Ecomarket. All in all, great location - awesome house that's been fitted out to a very high standard throughout and a wonderful, unspoilt part of France that we'd never been to before.
A fantastic place to be, hosts are very friendly and helpful. The gîtes are beautiful decorated and the view is stunning. We had a great time and I would not hesitate to book this beautiful domaine for a holiday again. I wrote a comment in the guestbook to encourage other people to spend their vacation at L'Oliveraie.
Nous revenons depuis maintenant plus de 5 ans. Nous adorons la Villa Baleyssagues et Frédéric ! Nous aimons tout dans la maison et tous les différents changements et améliorations dans la maison dus au nouveau propriétaire. La piscine reste la même avec sa forme impressionnante ! Le seul point négatif c'est que la maison affiche rapidement complet !!!
Un séjour dans un cottage impeccable avec petit jardin devant la maison et très grande piscine, attenant à la magnifique maison historique des propriétaires. Des hôtes charmants, très serviables en cas de besoin, mais par ailleurs discrets. Une région charmante avec beaucoup de choses à faire et à visiter. Je le recommande vivement pour des vacances reposantes.

I had the great pleasure of spending a fabulous week at this property. An oasis in the center of this charming french town. 3 minutes walk to the town where you find boulangeries selling fresh croissants in the morning; to lovely restaurants scattered around the cobbled back streets and a fabulous weekend market. The surrounding area has much to offer for those keen on exploring Agde, Sete or beautiful Marseillan, to name just a few. The property itself is decorated to the highest standard. You can see it was a labour of love. Stylish and yet homely. The bedrooms beautifully decorated light and airy. Beds so comfortable. The kitchen designed for entertaining. A huge open plan sitting and dining area perfect for a cosy family meal or a dinner party, as we enjoyed on more than one occasion. The outside area perfect for a long day lounging by the pool or chilling in the evening with the bbq going. A totally private setting! What more could one ask for. Great communication with the owner. Nothing was a problem. I would highly recommend this property, if you are looking for a 5 star experience in a stunning location.
Nous passons nos vacances dans cette région depuis plus de 30 ans et c'est sans aucun doute l'un des endroits les plus spéciaux où nous ayons séjourné. Nous prévoyons d'y retourner l'été prochain !
Quelle belle semaine nous avons passée ici à explorer la Loire. Nous avons vraiment apprécié de retourner chaque soir dans le sanctuaire paisible de cette belle maison - un vrai petit bout de France ! Les terrains et le jardin sont si paisibles et relaxants et nous aurions souhaité y passer plus de temps, mais hélas, il est temps de rentrer. Merci beaucoup!
Je voulais juste vous remercier de nous avoir permis de séjourner dans votre belle maison. C'est vraiment un petit coin de paradis dans une spectaculaire région. Nous avons exploré les environs, nous avons passé une journée à l'Abbaye de Fontfroide, puis au Musée Narbo Via à Narbonne, pour enfin terminer aux salines de l'île Saint-Martin de Gruissan. Merci encore de nous avoir laissé votre maison le temps d'un séjour et pour vos nombreuses gentillesses.
