Quelle magnifique villa, décorée avec goût. La piscine est parfaite après une chaude journée. Philippe était aux petits soins : impossible de rêver meilleur hôte.

I just wanted to thank you for providing us with the perfect spot for our vacation week in Provence. We loved everything about your home, the surroundings and the people. As it was my first time to Provence, we had an elaborate plan to visit Aix, Arles, Avignon etc and whereas I am sure they are fantastic places too, however, we ended up exploring the lovely mountain villages surrounding your home and loved every minute. Thank you for leaving the details regarding bike rental and horse-back riding, in the end it was a bit too hot to do either but maybe next time?! The house was great in every way and we loved every attention to detail and your impeccable taste. Again, thank you for a wonderful holiday, we do hope that some day we can return.

Excellent. Nous avons passé un trés bon séjour. La villa est trés bien équipée, vaisselle, ustensile tout est présent. Une vue panoramique exceptionnelle sur les vignes depuis la maison et la piscine. Accueil chaleureux à notre arrivée et repos garanties au milieu des vignes.

We had a great time exploring the markets at Bergerac, Riberac, Périgueux and Saint-Astier. We enjoyed the sunshine win the terrace with a glass of wine and a good book. Perfect.
We came here to celebrate a couple of family birthdays and get some time together. From the moment we walked in the door we quickly came to realise what an amazing place this is. The view from the kitchen window (bu the sink) literally brought my sister to tears. ... in a very positive way. This week has allowed us to explore the area to some degree, but with so much on offer around and in the property, there was little incentive to go anywhere. The difficulty now will be to keep this gem of a property a secret from others, as we will undoubtedly tell everyone about this fantastic place. Thank you for so generously sharing your house. We've had a wonderful week, enjoyed by all. We thought the tapas evening with Emma was great fun and well worth it, she's very knowledgable. We ended the week with lunch at Domaine Gayda, a great recommendation. We were sad to leave such a lovely home which exceeded our expectations and I would love to think that one day we could return. A Perfect Family Retreat – Exceeded Our Expectations! We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful villa and it truly exceeded our expectations. The photos on the website don’t fully capture the charm and spaciousness of this property. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. La Ferme Éclaircie is brilliantly laid out, offering plenty of open space, which was perfect for our family of five. The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped, making meal preparation a breeze. Each room was spotless, tidy and provided ample storage space for all our holiday belongings. The games room was a fantastic bonus, keeping our children entertained during the occasional rainy day. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible pool. Our three boys absolutely loved it and spent hours splashing around. The gentle slope of the pool was especially helpful for our youngest, who learned to swim during this holiday - an unforgettable milestone for our family. We also enjoyed the outdoor seating area, which was ideal for both daytime relaxation and evening games as we watched the sun set. The peaceful surroundings and stunning views added to the tranquility of our stay. La Ferme Éclaircie location is perfect for exploring the local area, which offers plenty of activities to keep a family like ours busy. Whether you’re looking for adventure or relaxation, this villa is a perfect choice. Overall, our stay was wonderful and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended!
Very high end, luxurious with every amenity, wonderful location in the vines and countryside and yet near everything.

We had a lovely stay at Claire’s beautiful place. It was very comfortable and you can see that someone has taken great care in decorating the place and choosing the best things. Would highly recommend.
Parfait. Notre deuxième visite et nous espérons que ce ne sera pas la dernière. Nous lui donnerions six étoiles si nous le pouvions. Un magnifique cottage, décoré avec goût et bien équipé. Une belle piscine et un cadre paisible près d'un village où l'on peut bien manger si l'on en a assez de cuisiner. Il y a beaucoup à découvrir dans la région. Et cerise sur le gâteau, l'accueil chaleureux des propriétaires.
Des vacances parfaites. Magnifiques. La seule façon de les améliorer serait de ne pas avoir à partir. Merci.
Wonderful family holiday We had a wonderful week staying at Manoir de Saux, spent mostly by or in the beautiful pool or on the tennis court! Occasionally we would tear ourselves away from this idyll to wander through pretty fortified towns, to have a delicious local lunch and to taste wine. We all particularly liked Cahors. The house itself was very comfortable, had everything we needed and the kids couldn't have been happier. Highly recommended!

This was our fourth stay in a villa in Languedoc, Occitanie… we all agreed that this was the best villa and location.
Nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances au Domaine de Nérige et nous avons pensé que c'était absolument superbe - extrêmement confortable, spacieux et avec beaucoup de jeux ! Nous ne saurions trop le recommander, et c'était un bonus de rencontrer les propriétaires et d'entendre comment ils ont transformé une ruine abandonnée en une si merveilleuse demeure.
Nous avons tous adoré notre séjour ici. Nous aurions aimé réserver deux semaines. C'est une maison très traditionnelle, mais vous avez fourni tout le confort moderne nécessaire, sans compromettre l'ambiance du gîte. J'espère y retourner. Nous avons passé des après-midis agréables à la piscine et à admirer le magnifique coucher de soleil depuis l'allée. Nous avons apprécié les spectacles sur la place de Verteillac, devant le bar Le Calice. La belle ville de Brantôme est à visiter absolument.
Merci à Pascal et Julien pour votre accueil chaleureux dans votre fabuleuse maison. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié vos efforts pour trouver une chaise haute pour Hatta, qui a passé ses premières vraies vacances. De merveilleuses vacances en famille dont nous nous souviendrons toujours. Notre moment préféré a été de jouer dans la piscine. Nous avons apprécié Aubeterre et son église souterraine, Brantôme et le marché de Ribérac.

We’ve had a wonderful 2 weeks, the girls have loved the swimming pool and all the facilities. We spent many relaxing days reading in front of the beautiful views. The house is very comfortable. Nyons, Orange, Avignon, Vaison la romaine were all very picturesque and worth a visit, especially the amazing Roman theatre in Orange. All in all a fabulous trip. We will be back.
Ma famille et moi-meme tenions à vous remercier pour ce séjour dans votre villa. Tout était parfait, je tenais à vous le dire personnellement.
Nous louons des villas dans le sud de la France depuis plus de 20 ans et nous pouvons dire que le propriétaire de la Maison des Communes a été le meilleur hôte que nous ayons jamais eu. Des cadeaux de bienvenue très généreux aux livraisons de petit-déjeuner deux fois par semaine en passant par l'excellent repas au Pourquoi Pas, il n'aurait pas pu faire plus pour nous. La maison est idéalement située, dispose d'une belle piscine et de vélos robustes. Nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir à parcourir les vignobles à vélo jusqu'à Montady, Capestang, Cazouls et aussi le long du Canal du Midi. Un endroit idéal pour un groupe d'amis en vacances prolongées. Merci beaucoup.
